The Chinese Communist Party is Setting Up Cells at Universities Across America

“I see in Communism the focus of the concentrated evil of our time.” – Whittaker Chambers

“For in this century, within the next decades, will be decided for generations whether all mankind is to become Communist, whether the whole world is to become free, or whether, in the struggle, civilization as we know it is to be completely destroyed or completely changed.” – Whittaker Chambers

“God is on your side? Is he a conservative? The Devil is on my side, he’s a good communist.” – Joseph Stalin, Soviet leader, to Winston Churchill at Tehran, November 1943

Amid escalating tensions between the U.S. and China over a trade war, Covid-19, and threats of Chinese espionage and political turmoil in Hong Kong, critics worry that China uses their Confucius Institutes to promote Chinese Communist Party propaganda on American college campuses. They are right to worry!

The University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana is not the only cell.  Party cells have appeared in California, Ohio, New York, Connecticut, North Dakota, and West Virginia. The cells appear to be part of a strategy, now expanded under Chinese President Xi Jinping, to extend direct party control globally and to insulate students and scholars abroad from the influence of “harmful ideology,” (i.e. America’s constitutional freedoms) sometimes by asking members to report on each other’s behaviors and beliefs.

Two years ago, in the National Defense Authorization Act, Congress voted to strip colleges and universities of certain Pentagon grants unless they closed their Confucius Institutes which promote Chinese cells. Yet they are still flourishing on American campuses.  Why?  Because American universities have been looking to global sources to fill seats and find cash in the face of government cuts.

Chinese Gifts to American Universities

About 115 colleges received monetary gifts, contracts or both from sources in mainland China in recent years according to a Bloomberg analysis of U.S. government data. The leader was Harvard University, which pulled in $93.7 million, the majority as gifts. The University of Southern California and University of Pennsylvania were second and third.  At the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana, $27 million of the $35 million in contracts with Chinese sources is directed to a partnership between the engineering school and Zhejiang University to develop a program in Haining. Many small universities are also affected; Middle Tennessee State received $1.1 million. Link

In a recent WSJ article, U.S. Presses Universities on China Assets, a letter came from Keith Krach of the State Department urging university endowments to divest themselves of Chinese stocks and disclose Chinese assets held in their index funds.

China’s growing prominence in emerging-markets indexes has steered more money from U.S. institutions into China, putting many endowments at odds with the Trump administration’s increasingly confrontational stance toward Beijing. A growing chorus from DC has linked Chinese stocks to human-rights violations, such as the treatment of the Muslim Uighurs and slave trade, not to mention organ “harvesting” from inmates, and the building of China’s military via US dollars.

“China is a threat to the world in a sense, because they’re building a military faster than anybody and, frankly, they’re using U.S. money,” Trump told reporters at a news conference last September as he discussed global trade with Australia’s prime minister.

Higher education’s alarming willingness to accept money at the expense of principles that universities are ostensibly devoted to upholding clearly paves the way for socialist and communist indoctrination into America’s young minds. At a time when universities are as willing as ever to shield their charges from controversial viewpoints, i.e. conservatism, some nonetheless welcome foreign, communist propaganda—if the price is right, resulting in American universities becoming a soft target for China’s spies.

Confucius Institutes

The first Confucius Institute opened in South Korea in 2004. They quickly spread to Japan, Australia, Canada and Europe. The United States, China’s biggest geopolitical rival, has been a particular focus, fully 40 percent of Confucius Institutes are stateside. In addition to the Institutes at universities, Hanban also operates hundreds of so-called Confucius Classrooms in primary and secondary schools. The public-school system of Chicago, for example, has outsourced its Chinese program to Confucius Classrooms.

In 2017, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte made an announcement to great fanfare. The university would soon open a branch of the Confucius Institute, the Chinese government-funded educational institutions that teach Chinese language, culture and history.

More than a decade after they were created, Confucius Institutes have sprouted up at more than 500 college campuses worldwide, with more than 100 of them in the United States—including at The George Washington University, the University of Michigan and the University of Iowa. Overseen by a branch of the Chinese Ministry of Education known colloquially as Hanban, the institutes are part of a broader propaganda initiative that the Chinese government is pumping an estimated $10 billion into annually, and they have only been bolstered by growing interest in China among American college students.  Hanban is an entity funded and run by the Chinese government’s Ministry of Education. They also pay and screen who teaches the institute’s courses.

Confucius Institutes teach a very particular, Beijing-approved version of Chinese culture and history, one that ignores concerns over human rights, for example, and teaches that Taiwan and Tibet indisputably belong to Mainland China. Tiananmen Square is never mentioned, neither is the Hong Kong desire for freedom as espoused by America’s President Donald Trump.

The UK reports that on balance, given the evidence they’ve received, and while the teaching of Chinese language and culture should be welcomed and encouraged, Confucius Institutes as they are currently constituted threaten academic freedom and freedom of expression in universities around the world and represent an endeavor by the Chinese Communist Party to spread its propaganda and suppress its critics beyond its borders.  America agrees with this assessment.

National Review reported that Alabama’s legislature is seeking to ban the Confucius schools in their state. The other 49 states need to follow suit.

China’s National Security Law

The number of Chinese students at U.S. colleges has almost tripled over a decade. China accounts for one-third of the 1.1 million foreign students, according to data from 2018-19 compiled by the Institute of International Education. Schools have been looking to global sources to fill seats and find cash in the face of government cuts.

The People’s Republic of China (PRC) passed a national security law for Hong Kong that aims to quell anti-government protests following a year of unrest in Taiwan’s global financial hub.  The effect of the new national security law is extending far beyond the territory to American college campuses.

The new national security law stemmed from the pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong and allows China to find and prosecute people for “sedition, subversion, terrorism, and colluding with foreign forces.”  Under the national security law, suspects could be removed to mainland China, handled within the mainland’s criminal justice system and tried under mainland law. … Being charged with a national security crime on the mainland can lead to arbitrary or even secret detention.

Elite universities, Harvard and Princeton, are trying to protect students from China’s National Security Law. Professors are turning to code names, warning labels to protect students.

Classes at some elite universities will carry a warning label this fall: This course may cover material considered politically sensitive by China. And schools are weighing measures to try to shield students and faculty from prosecution by Chinese authorities.

Remember Professor Charles Lieber of Harvard who was working at Wuhan? It was shocking news that a faculty member and researcher was arrested for how he was helping out communist China.  It’s not bad enough that we have millions of dollars flooding into America to set up propaganda institutes, now education is kowtowing to a communist regime.  What next when it comes to a history class?  Are we going to see professors delete parts of communist Chinese history that the regime in Beijing might find embarrassing, and the tens of millions killed in the name of Karl Marx and Mao Zedong?

Radical Indoctrination

The sad truth is universities are no longer institutions of higher learning.  Conservatives have allowed them to become indoctrination mills for at least two generations.  Remember what happened in 1968-1969 with the Weather Underground, a self-described communist revolutionary group that sought to overthrow imperialism.  It was led by Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn who were trying to affect a Marxist revolution in America with their Chicago Days of Rage and Students for a Democratic Society (SDS).  They failed then, but they are still at it.  They became tenured professors in Chicago, they became high school teachers, and what did we do when these communist anarchists gained so much control?  Nothing!  In fact, America voted not once, but twice for Bill Ayers’ close friend.

The delayed reaction of home schooling was a band-aid on a heart attack.  And now we’ve awakened to the fact that the latest survey from the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation found that 72 percent of American millennials would prefer to live in a socialist or communist America!  This happened in our high schools and universities and now the same propaganda is taught to kindergarten children. It is indoctrination, not education.

Black Lives Matter, founded in 2013 by three avowed Marxist women, is in over 20 major city school districts in America.  And we wonder where all the Antifa and BLM anarchists have come from…they were trained in America’s schools.

Seventy-five of the communist indoctrinating Confucius Centers are still on university campuses and even in kindergarten through twelve schools.  Why are we not removing them right now?  They are nothing more than propaganda operations and bases of communist operations for surveillance and most likely espionage.

The fact that we’ve seen communist propaganda worm its way throughout our universities has to be stopped, but first they’d have to fire 98 percent of their tenured professors.  Yes, professors just like Bill Ayers…there are thousands of them, and now the high schools and grammar schools are inundated with them.  Teachers have said they don’t want the children being taught via virtual learning because the parents might find out what their children are being fed.  It’s not academic education, but communist propaganda.

China’s Authoritarian Regime

The communist regime of China is the largest in the world today.  It has slave labor camps, it has forced organ harvesting for transplants; look at the video of the Uighurs being blindfolded and handcuffed and put on cattle trucks.

The relationship with China started in the Nixon administration with Mao Zedong, and now we have dictator Xi Jinping ruling the Chinese people and determined to take over  Taiwan and make Chang Kai-Shek’s former freedom loving country a part of the People’s Republic of China.

At the rate of amalgamation with foreign nations, China’s hundred-year plan to become the world’s super power, started in 1949 by Mao Zedong, will reach its desired completion in 2049.

China declared war on America years ago by destroying our manufacturing.  Oh, how the neo-cons promoted and loved it and told us the cost of products would be so much lower.  Well, I can tell them my experience and it certainly isn’t good.  I remember Walter Williams subbing for Rush Limbaugh and espousing the trade deals and how a $750 dollar recliner would now cost us $350.  What he didn’t tell us is that it would last less than half the time.  American made products from the late forties and fifties lasted for decades.  Freezers and refrigerators lasted 45 to 50 years.  Electric and gas stoves lasted forever, all you replaced were the coils. Not today.  Everything today has a computer module in it that lasts only eight to ten years and you have to buy another at a cost that is more than triple what we used to pay for an item that lasted 35 to 55 years.  In many cases, this ensures continued slave labor from China.

Conclusion

America shouldn’t be doing business with China at all.  All manufacturing needs to be brought back to America and China needs to be cut off.  It will take time, but it can be done and it will help our economy recover from the Wuhan virus.  Clinton granted China “most favored nation” in 1994 and in 2002, President George W. Bush granted permanent trade status to Communist Red China.  We lived happily without them before they became the “most favored nation” and we can live without them now.  Dealing with evil will only beget evil.

China has not removed Xi Jinping from office, they have not apologized to the world for Covid-19, and they have not sought a new direction for their nation.  They are a nation bent by their leaders on the control of the entire world and the domination of every state by their Marxist totalitarian leaders.

As for their infiltration into education, the only way we can get rid of China’s dominance in America’s higher education is to keep Donald Trump as our president.

VIDEO: Flu d’ etat Infiltration Not Invasion

Making Sense of the Madness” a daily live alternative news broadcast, in conjunction with contributing investigative journalists, publishes weekly Special Reports. This week’s report was submitted by Alexandra Bruce. Her website is Forbidden Knowledge TV.

Alexandra Vruceis the founder and publisher the popular alternative news website Forbidden Knowledge TV (“FKTV”) which began in October 2010 with zero start-up funds. The site’s following grew rapidly and strictly by word-of-mouth, receiving an average of over 1,200,000 monthly page views and Google AdSense revenues of between $10,000 and $15,000 per month.

Late in 2015, FKTV’s AdSense earnings dropped 90% without warning or recourse, in a trend that began to affect an increasing number of websites and YouTube channels that were anti-Hillary and supportive of Donald Trump. This trend has escalated into recurring periods of mass de-platforming of figures in the alternative media, most notably, of Alex Jones.

It has since become apparent that this corporate censorship stems from 4-year plan put forth by David Brock in his memo, “Democracy Matters: Strategic Plan for Action,” to attack Trump supporters using Media Matters, American Bridge, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), and Shareblue. The mainstream media and Big Tech companies have all fallen into lock-step with this plan.

Alexandra has a unique perspective on this creeping Fascism we’re seeing in America today, after attending High School in Brazil during the final days of the CIA-installed military dictatorship there. She had been a lifelong Democrat before her business was crushed by corporate censorship guided by a regressive Left whose militancy knows no bounds.

Alexandra graduated from Brown University with a BA in Semiotics and she worked in independent films and TV for three decades. She was a prolific Director of music videos during the “Golden Age of Hip Hop,” after having been one of the three original founders of MTV’s highest-rated show at the time, ‘Yo! MTV Raps.’ She is also the author of six non-fiction books. The title of this weeks Special Report is, “Infiltration not Invasion”. Below is the script of the reports narration.

Flu d’ etat Infiltration not Invasion

After weeks and weeks of so-called “George Floyd protests” across the country, with America’s largest corporations donating billions of dollars to Black Lives Matter, an organization which has done almost nothing for the Black community in the seven years since its founding, it’s become evident that the allegation of “Systemic Racism” is being used as a cover for a Socialist insurrection that is backed by the most powerful entities in the world.

The UN and its agencies, including the World Health Organization, Big Tech, major corporations, NGOs, academe, teachers’ unions, Hollywood, the Mainstream Media, the DNC, BLM and Antifa are all united in their express mission to end the Constitutional Republic of the United States; to “transform” it and to fold it into a One World Big Pharma Technocracy. This was crystallized in a speech made by Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar on July 7th, in which she said, “We cannot stop at criminal justice system [reform], we must begin the work of dismantling the whole system of oppression wherever we find it.” Omar has previously called to eliminate the Department of Homeland Security and to replace the US Government’s border control apparatus with a United Nations-run system. Where did Omar get this idea? We’ll find out…

We’re learning that the reason the George Floyd riots have been so persistent and destructive over the past couple of months is because dozens of District Attorneys, prosecutors, judges, mayors, governors and lawmakers are complicit in these terror acts. They’re not just ordering police to stand-down during mass-looting and arson attacks, they’re calling for their police departments to be dismantled, while they release thousands of criminals to commit more crimes. What other explanation is there for local governments calling to dismantle the criminal justice system during a time of unprecedented domestic unrest than that these politicians are actively working to collapse the very structure they were elected to defend?

George Soros spent millions over the past few years, placing his assets across the country to do his bidding, like Kim Foxx, the Illinois State District Attorney in Cook County who shot to fame when she dropped 16 felony charges against Jussie Smollett. Foxx is now calling for prosecutors to drop felony charges against BLM protestors. In St. Louis, Soros-backed prosecutor, Kim Gardner charged a couple with felonies for the legal act of defending their home by displaying their registered guns to hundreds of protestors who broke down the gates to their home and threatened them on their lawn. Besides Soros, there are many UN-backed initiatives that seek to dismantle the US legal system. One of these is known as the Strong Cities Network, launched in 2015 by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, during an address to the United Nations General Assembly.

The Strong Cities Network – or the SCN – is a program that hands over control of local law enforcement to a London-based think-tank called the Institute for Strategic Dialogue. The ISD is focused on abolishing the 2nd Amendment and local police departments. A quick search of the ISD’s website reveals a Board of Trustees comprised of a Who’s Who of top-tier Globalist, one-world government, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission and Bilderberg Group power brokers. The Strong Cities Network is a move toward international integration of global law-enforcement agencies. This is antithetical to locally controlled police, that are a part of, and accountable to the communities they serve. It also violates the Constitution. Forty-six US cities, including New York, Los Angeles, San Diego and Louisville have already signed onto the SCN, which allocates US Taxpayer money to pay the UN to install Human Rights police review boards, because according to the UN, America is a “racist society” in need of intervention. And who will be managing these Human Rights police review boards? Lifelong Communist, former President of Chile and Hillary Clinton BFF, Michelle Bachelet, who is now the UN’s High Commissioner of Human Rights.

What is Michelle Bachelet’s agenda? To get rid of the police unions. Who agrees with her? Congress. House Bill 7120: the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2020 passed in Congress on June 25th and it is making its way to a Senate vote. House Bill 7120 gives the UN High Commissioner of Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet the power to dismiss police as soon as a complaint is filed, without an investigation and to fine the alleged wrongdoers. These fines are then awarded to the State – not to the people who were allegedly injured. This is a tried-and-true plan that NATO has used, in conjunction with the CIA for a takeover, city-by-city of all of a country’s police departments. It’s a tactic that was outlined in a book by Doug Valentine called ‘The Phoenix Program’.

What is proposed in House Bill 7120 has previously been done by UN Peacekeepers in Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Yemen and Haiti. How could this happen in America? If House Bill 7120, which has already passed in Congress, passes the Senate and if former V.P. Joe Biden is elected President. Biden will sign it. If President Donald J. Trump will no longer be there to veto it. Alexandra Bruce • Alexandra.bruce18@gmail.com

Rose McGowan unleashes fury against Joe Biden, Democrats: ‘You are monsters, frauds’

The actress has stood behind Biden assault accuser Tara Reade in recent months

By Melissa Roberto | Fox News | August 23, 2020:

A victim of sexual abuse unleashed a tirade of tweets aimed at Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and the Democratic party. Who would know better?

Joe Biden and the Democratic Party on the final day of the Democratic National Convention in a series of tweets in which she dubbed them all “frauds.”

The actress and activist, 46, who has stood behind Biden assault accuser Tara Reade and blasted Hollywood stars for their support of the Democratic presidential nominee, made her distaste for Biden loud and clear as she ripped his speech in which he described America as a “cloak of darkness” under Trump.

“Give people light. Those are words for our time. The current president has cloaked America in darkness for much too long. Too much anger. Too much fear. Too much division,” Biden said on Thursday night.

“You are the season of darkness. @JoeBiden @dnc You are monsters. You are frauds. You are the lie,” McGowan reacted on the social media platform.

She went on to question the Democratic Party’s ability to create change and provide support for citizens facing racial inequality, economic issues and police brutality.

“What have the Democrats done to solve ANYTHING? Help the poor? No. Help black & brown people? No. Stop police brutality? No. Help single mothers? No. Help children? No. You have achieved nothing. NOTHING. Why did people vote Trump? Because of you motherf—kers,” she wrote.

McGowan also fired back at her followers who critiqued her views.

“And if you can’t see that I’m dragging everyone to force them to be better & hold them accountable then you are delusional,” she tweeted.

She also responded “lol” to a follower who called one of her tweets “ugly” in the midst of a “beautiful convention.”

McGowan, who has in the past also ripped President Trump, confirmed that she doesn’t like him either.

“Did I say I like him? No. I am an equal opportunity hater. American voters/cult members have been hoodwinked for years into believing they have to live with a lesser of two evils. Wake up. Demand more,” she argued.

She also slammed others who referred to her as a “white feminist” for her views.

In April, the actress made headlines after posting a teary-eyed selfie along with a missive lamenting the Democratic establishment and the media following the fallout from the sex assault allegations against Biden.

“I used to be a proud Democrat,” the 46-year-old shared. “I used to be a proud American.”

She recounted a story about her younger brother’s Air Force Academy graduation, where she wore a “Vote John Kerry” pin and defended herself in a few arguments with “big men who were mad” about her party affiliation.

“I thought democracy meant…I had a right to choose those who lined up with my value system,” continued. “But what if there’s no one?”

She went on to say that she had been raised on the idea that the Democratic Party “were the good guys” and that she felt “really quite a sense of loss.”

McGowan also previously shined a light on her negative experience in Hollywood since the exposure of now-disgraced movie mogul and convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein. She previously accused Weinstein of rape and has since become a vocal critic of the industry.

Last month, the actress shared a picture of herself during what appeared to be the height of her acting career and explained why she took a step back.

“I get asked a lot if I ever liked working in Hollywood. My answer is no. I never did. It was a means to my end. My goals. My Hollywood was a job filled with mostly sociopathic predators shooting damaged fish in a barrel,” she began. “We, the beautiful ones, we were the fish. We were their targets. The truth of it is that the beautiful ones are looked at as the weak gazelles in the herd, the ones that limp under the attention they receive. It was too much for me.”

Supreme Court Could See at Least 4 Vacancies in 4 Years, Trump Says

President Donald Trump projects that he’s on track to win confirmation of more than 300 new conservative judges by the end of the year.

And in the next four years, the president predicts, as many as five vacancies could open on the Supreme Court.

“By the time we are finished, we will have in excess of 300 [federal judges confirmed], including the court of appeals, and of course two very exceptional Supreme Court justices,” Trump said Friday in remarks about his success in seating new judges to the Council for National Policy, a conservative group, in Arlington, Virginia.

“I’ve had two [Supreme Court picks],” Trump said. “Some presidents have had none, because you generally pick them young and they last a long time.”

Appointing conservative judges has been a key part of Trump’s legacy since he took office in January 2017, most visibly Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

He also won Senate confirmation of more than 200 judges, of which 53 were appeals court judges, according to The Heritage Foundation’s Judicial Tracker.

“I can tell you, it’s driving them crazy,” Trump said of Democrats.

In coming years, he warned, more vacancies will occur on the high court.

“We could have two, to three, to four; maybe even five, but four is not a stretch at all,” Trump said. “That would mean the entire balance of the court doesn’t just shift. It becomes dominant.”

The four oldest justices are Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 87, who was appointed by President Bill Clinton; Stephen Breyer, 82, also a Clinton appointee; Clarence Thomas, 72, appointed by President George H.W. Bush; and Samuel Alito, 70, appointed by President George W. Bush.

Trump’s judicial confirmations, achieved with key help from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., are well in excess of  the number of federal judges confirmed in the fourth year in the White House for Barack Obama, both the elder and younger Bush, and Ronald Reagan, according to Heritage’s Judicial Tracker.

Trump is roughly on par with Clinton’s fourth year, which saw 203 judges confirmed. The tracker’s most recent tally shows Trump with 202 confirmations.

As he has done somewhat sarcastically in the past, Trump on Friday credited his predecessor with leaving him so many vacancies to fill.

“Don’t forget President Obama, they said he was a great president,” Trump said. “Well, you can’t be a great president when much of what he has done we’ve undone. You can’t be a great president when you leave 142 empty judgeships.”

A Note for our Readers:

Democratic Socialists say, “America should be more like socialist countries such as Sweden and Denmark.” And millions of young people believe them…

For years, “Democratic Socialists” have been growing a crop of followers that include students and young professionals. America’s future will be in their hands.

How are socialists deluding a whole generation? One of their most effective arguments is that “democratic socialism” is working in Scandinavian countries like Sweden and Norway. They claim these countries are “proof” that socialism will work for America. But they’re wrong. And it’s easy to explain why.

Our friends at The Heritage Foundation just published a new guide that provides three irrefutable facts that debunks these myths. For a limited time, they’re offering it to readers of The Daily Signal for free.

Democrats Offer a Rancid Smorgasbord

At the virtual Democrat National Convention last week––where the Democratic National Committee removed the word God from the Pledge of Allegiance––the public was treated to tasteless and remarkably unfunny jokes from Hollywood’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and a video featuring Donna Hylton who spent 27 years in prison for the grisly murder and torture of Thomas Vigliarolo, a NY businessman found stuffed inside a steamer trunk and left to rot in Harlem.

NO BELLE MICHELLE

Then there was Michelle Obama telling Americans to ‘go high’ after her husband tried to destroy candidate and then President Trump by weaponizing all of our intelligence agencies against him. Ironically, this is the same woman who proved that you can’t go any lower than the sentiment she expressed at the age of 44 that she was never proud to be an American until her husband was nominated to the U.S. presidency. Imagine, this Princeton and Harvard Law graduate lived almost five decades having to tolerate the bitter taste of American citizenship. And to prove plus ça change, her speech demonstrated that the bitterness bitterly lingers on.

REPRESENTING THE RELIGION OF PEACE

Then there was speaker Noman Hussain, an Imam affiliated with the Texas-based Qalam Institute, which advocates for “the use of female sex slaves, the killing of adulterers, and the incitement of hatred against Jews.”

THE PARTY’S MORAL COMPASS

Americans also got to see what one pundit called “the Party’s moral compass,” Bill Clinton, whose speech was preceded by the release of a photo showing one of Jeffery Epstein’s accusers giving the former president a shoulder massage.

Journalist Matt Vespa offered this critique: “It was a rather flat repudiation [of Trump] if anything. Bill just doesn’t have the mojo to deliver the heavy hits anymore. He looked tired… [he] did this as a Party favor.” But “unlike his succubus wife, [he] has political skills. He is personable. He is likable. He’s framed Joe as the anti-Trump…[but] it’s not enough to win. Romney was the anti-Obama. John Kerry was the anti-Bush. Both guys lost.”

HE WAS IN VIETNAM, YOU KNOW

Speaking of Kerry, “it took approximately 20 seconds” for the former Secretary of State “to drop the first flagrant lie…when he claimed that the Obama administration’s so-called Iran deal had ‘eliminated the threat of an Iran with a nuclear weapon,’” wrote journalist David Harsanyi.

Kerry knew, Harsanyi continues, “that Israel uncovered a giant cache of documents with instructions on how to jump-start a program to build a nuclear arsenal. Time keeps proving John Kerry wrong. He’s just mad that Trump’s foreign policy is working far better than his.”

“SERIALKILLER”

And who can forget the oleaginous Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, who presented himself, according to Jake Lahut of BusinessInsider.com , “as a standard-bearer for the nation’s fight against the pandemic, calling for a better federal response than the Trump administration’s,” which Cuomo called “too sluggish.”

That’s really funny, coming from the guy who desperately called the president because of his own failure to order ventilators, which the president delivered in record time. Cuomo is also the guy who in a state of hysteria told the president he didn’t have enough beds and the president sent two massive, medically-outfitted ships and set up other medical facilities in world-class time, only to learn that Cuomo didn’t know what he was talking about––no additional ventilators or beds were needed!

Worse, according to journalist Daniel John Sobieski, Gov. Cuomo is a serial killer, guilty of “criminal negligence in ushering patients infected with the Chinese Wuhan virus”––which Cuomo calls the European virus––“into New York nursing homes, sentencing tens of thousands of vulnerable seniors to death.”

Sobieski says Cuomo’s distortions and invented facts and vilification of President Trump are all “obscene lies.” He cites New York Post columnist Miranda Devine who recently noted that Cuomo was still sending COVID patients into nursing homes, not only failing to protect the most vulnerable but deliberately putting them at risk.”

TA DA––THE NOMINEE!

And to top it off was the candidate himself, who was proud to admit that his daughter is so enamored of the recently indicted rap singer Cardi B that he agreed to an interview with her, but mercifully did not play her newest hit, WAP, perhaps the filthiest “song” I’ve ever heard.

Ole Joe got through his speech creditably, notwithstanding the disturbingly vacant look in his eyes.

But oh no! Say it ain’t so, Joe! As journalist Breck Dumas reported, even during the broadcast of Biden’s acceptance speech, a Twitter storm was “accusing Biden of lifting the words of departed liberal Canadian politician Jack Layton, who passed away in 2011––comparing the parting words of Biden’s speech to the final words of Jack Layton’s farewell letter before his death.”

Biden’s speech, a tweeter noted, said: “For love is more powerful than hate. Hope is more powerful than fear. Light is more powerful than dark. This is our moment. This is our mission.” Layton’s quote read, “My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world.”

Of course, Biden has been accurately accused of plagiarism for decades. But in this case, we can only conclude that his handlers and writers are plagiarists too.

FIREWORKS ….MINUS

The convention even had fireworks. Only one thing was missing. In the entire event, there was not ONE WORD mentioned of the months-long violence taking place in Democrat-run cities throughout our country––the short list includes Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Baltimore, New York City––and the massive destruction wrought by the communist group Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa: widespread arson, massive destruction of property, including historic statues and local white and black businesses, wanton attacks on innocent people, intimidation and harassment, et al.

And not ONE WORD about the actions of the emboldened BLM and Antifa thugs as they marched into the suburbs of Seattle and demanded that those over-privileged, capitalist, bad bad bad white people give their homes to Black people.

Why? Because as you can see by the behavior of the mayors who run those cities, it’s perfectly okay with them as long as they serve the “big picture” goal of the Democrat Party, i.e., to have things get so bad that there is no choice but to turn to Big Government to intervene, take over, and run all of our lives from cradle to grave.

That is why your vote in November is really between Communism and Freedom!

In a stunning op-ed in Newsweek magazine titled “The World’s Red-Green Axis Has Come to Our Streets,” Dr. Zuhdi Jasser breaks down the connections between Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Islamism.

Jasser is the founder and president of American Islamic Forum for Democracy and one of the leading North American Muslim reformers. The article maps out the overlapping agendas of what he calls the “pseudo-progressive” movements:

  • BLM, like its American Islamist brethren, is avowedly a neo-Marxist organization. It is anti-capitalist, anti-individualist, anti-democratic and anti-American, and seeks to remake the entire country in its own image
  • Those who dare criticize the movements are publicly shamed or canceled and fraudulently charged with racism or Islamophobia, even if they are black or Muslim themselves
  • Both BLM and modern Islamism are street-led movements whose members, whether clerics or activists, see themselves as grassroots revolutionaries—not modest reformers
  • Driven by nihilism, they tear down historical statues, ban books and rename institutions
  • On a global scale, the most obvious link between BLM and modern Islamism is the embrace of anti-Semitism

Dr. Jasser continues:

Both BLM and modern Islamism are cut from the same cloth; they are victim-obsessed, ethnocentric struggles that frame every difference of outcome in terms of identity, whether race or religion. They are the commissars of the thought police, the connoisseurs of cultural demagoguery.

Whether out of allegiance or fear, we have witnessed the entire Democratic Party and swaths of the Republican Party fall into lockstep with their narrative. The only way to fight them is to recognize their strategic similarities and recommit ourselves to authentic ideological diversity. No race should bend the knee to any other, for we are all equal in the eyes of God.

The next question is how do we meaningfully challenge the “red-green axis?”

Develop New Arguments

The old arguments that many of us have been relying on simply aren’t working; in fact, many would argue they never worked. For example, a recent debate within the UK counter extremism sector looked at whether to censor out language like “Islamist.”

While there are many sound academic arguments about why not to censor such language, I developed a new argument rooted in freedom of religion, simply that: The Right to Say Islamist is a Religious Freedom Issue.

The right of Muslims — or anyone — to speak freely about the faith should have protection under civil rights statutes: An attempt to regulate speech within or outside the government or private sector is nothing short of a violation of freedom of religion (as well as freedom of speech).

Expand Our Identity

For Muslim reformers, since our work is often focused on and comes specifically from the platform of our “Muslim” identity, we’re doing exactly what the Islamists do, which is hyper-focus on identity. Taking an expansive approach to how we think about ourselves and our issues challenges the cult of race, color and creed which our ideological competitors are consumed by.

The world is fast-changing, and those who can’t keep up will either lose or be left behind, or possibly both. For many years, those fighting Islamism collectively rattled the alarm against creeping shariah. Fast forward 15 years, and we now find that the struggle against Islamism does not narrow on shariah anymore, but on intersectional identity politics.

On August 13, fellow Muslim reformer Raheel Raza penned on op-ed in Clarion on The Rise of Modern Islamism, starting with the timeline triggering the birth of political Islam to the landscape today. Raza underscores the idea that Islamism isn’t about faith, it’s about power.

That puts Jasser’s entire argument in perspective and helps us understand why Islamists are allying with an ideology that eventually will also set it’s sight on Islam as a faith.

It’s all about power.

The question for all of us fighting against this ideology is: How do we need to change our strategy to address this new reality?

Biden Campaign Disavows Linda Sarsour’s Appearance at Democratic National Convention

How have Islamists managed to position themselves as representative of Muslim Americans?

After Linda Sarsour appeared on an official panel at the Democratic National Convention, Joe Biden’s campaign issued a statement distancing the candidate from the Islamist activist who has a long history of making antisemitic comments and supporting other antisemites.

Sarsour, who was a campaign surrogate for Bernie Sanders, appeared on a panel hosted by the Muslim Delegates and Allies Assembly, one of the side councils and caucuses of the convention.

A spokesperson for Biden said that Sarsour “has no role in the Biden campaign whatsoever.”  Addressing Sarsour’s support of the antisemitic Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) movement against Israel, Biden’s campaign spokesperson Andrew Bates said in a statement, “Joe Biden has been a strong supporter of Israel and a vehement opponent of anti-Semitism his entire life, and he obviously condemns her views and opposes BDS, as does the Democratic platform.”

The BDS movement falls under the U.S. State Department’s (and 34 other countries’) definition of antisemitism.

Last year, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) joined many other prominent Left-wing groups in withdrawing their support for Sarsour’s Women’s March organization. The move was made after Sarsour’s colleague, Women’s March co-founder Tamilka Mallory, refused to condemn Louis Farrakhan, the anti-Semitic hate preacher who leads the Nation of Islam organization.

Sarsour has been a Farrakhan fan for years and has yet to condemn his endless hate. Mallory has attended a number of Nation of Islam events, had photo ops with Farrakhan and referred to him as the GOAT (Great of All Time).

Mallory also spoke at the Democratic convention at an event hosted by the Black Caucus, although she received no similar disavowal from the Biden campaign.

Addressing both Sarsour’s and Mallory’s official appearances at the convention, a Democratic official told The Daily Beast, “The caucus and council chairs come up with their own programming and select their own speakers.”

Sarsour is also a supporter of

  • radical Islamists (she calls radical Islamist preacher Siraj Wahhaj her “mentor, motivator and encourager”)
  • radical Islamist causes (she is a regular speaker and fundraiser for CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, and other Islamist groups tied to terror-funding)
  • Islamist terrorists (she teamed up with Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh, who was convicted for her involvement in a terror bombing in Israel that killed two students. Sarsour posed for a picture with Salah Sarsour, who was jailed in Israel for working with Hamas)
  • sharia law (an Islamic legal system with barbaric corporal punishments that is discriminatory against women and non-Muslims)

Sarsour has also railed against women with whom she disagrees by saying, “I wish I could take their vaginas away – they don’t deserve to be women.” She has been accused of facilitating the sexual assault of another woman.

Yet from the reaction of her fellow Islamists to her snub by the Biden campaign, one would think that Biden’s issue with Sarsour was either her “support for Palestinian human rights” or just plain Islamophobia.

A statement by CAIR said,”Our sister Linda Sarsour is an outspoken advocate of justice for all, including the Jewish community. Smearing her and other American Muslims as anti-Semitic for supporting Palestinian human rights is predictable, despicable and unacceptable. Our political leaders must stop doing it.”

The Arab American Institute accused the Biden campaign of “Arab baiting,” which they termed “a decades old tactic rooted in bigotry & racism.”

The institute further said that “historically, [Arab baiting was] used as a weapon to attack political opponents & disenfranchise #ArabAmericans, those who engage in Arab baiting seek to exclude us from the political process to avoid substantive debate on issues of concern, particularly advocacy for justice for #Palestine.”

Hatem Bazian — chairman of American Muslims for Palestine (which has a history of employing terrorist financiers) and founder of Students for Justice in Palestine (essentially Hamas’ student wing on U.S. college campuses) – tweeted, “Islamophobia is Silencing Muslim Voices.”

CAIR’s Zahra Billoo, who has her own long history of making antisemitic and anti-American remarks, tweeted out a sad headline from the Middle East Eye, which stated, “Biden campaign’s attacks on Linda Sarsour alienates Muslim voters, activists say.”

The tweet was sarcastically answered by @ZnzAllen, who noted, “So calling out Sarsour’s Jew hatred alienates Muslim voters. I guess that says something about Muslim voters.”

Sarsour, for her part, answered the Biden snub with a barely-veiled threat:

Meanwhile, the Democrat party was taking flack for featuring Islamic preacher Nomani Hussain as part of an interfaith service. Hussain is a Hajj scholar for Qalam Institute.

The institute features a course called “The Prophetic  Code,” which warns Muslims to strive for “cleanliness” and “purity” so that they “do not resemble the Jews.”

Qalam Institute’s officials have also advocated for the use of female sex slaves and the killing of adulterers and incite hatred against Jews and other non-Muslims.

Whether or not the appearance of Sarsour or Hussain at the Democratic National Convention happened under the radar of the DNC or not, it has been far too long that Islamists have been featured in the public eye as representative of the American Muslims.

Yet, it is not surprising. Today’s climate of identity politics has allowed Islamists to leverage the spotlight as their message of victimhood fits in perfectly with all the other intersectional players claiming the same.

Democrats deliver 4-point poll BOOST to TRUMP, Enemedia says convention bounce ‘not the point’

But it very much is the point ……

While the mainstream media have sought to downplay the impact of 2020 party conventions, polls showing President Donald Trump surging ahead as the Democrats held their virtual rally have them both stumped and spinning.

“Don’t be surprised if Biden doesn’t get a convention bounce in the polls. That’s not the point,” screamed a WaPo headline.

As Democrats deliver 4-point poll boost to TRUMP, media spin says convention bounce ‘not the point’

By: RT, 21 Aug, 2020:

While the mainstream media have sought to downplay the impact of 2020 party conventions, polls showing President Donald Trump surging ahead as the Democrats held their virtual rally have them both stumped and spinning.

“Don’t be surprised if Biden doesn’t get a convention bounce in the polls. That’s not the point,” declared an early Friday headline in the Washington Post. Post-convention surges are hard when the country is polarized and the parties “stage theirs back to back, as they will this year,” argued opinion writer Karen Tumulty.

Except both things were just as true in 2016, which didn’t stop the media from treating the “convention bounce” as a thing of conventional wisdom. Either way, the problem was not that the virtual Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin didn’t move the needle for the Democrats and their ticket of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris – it’s that it somehow managed to jolt the public opinion in favor of Trump!

The president’s approval rating among likely US voters stood at 47 percent on Wednesday, with 51 percent disapproving. By Friday morning, those numbers had flipped completely, to 51 approval and 47 percent disapproval.

These are the numbers from the daily tracking poll by Rasmussen Reports, which is weighted at 37 percent Democrat, 33 percent Republican and 30 percent Independent.

This is in stark contrast to mainstream media reactions to Biden’s acceptance speech on Thursday evening – a brief but occasionally intense denunciation of Trump’s “darkness” in favor of the “light” supposedly offered by the Democrats.

Election gurus have been laying the groundwork for managing expectations about the convention ‘bounce’ since July. American politics are polarized, they said, and the Covid-19 pandemic guaranteed the conventions would be virtual, rather than the normally raucous in-person parties that let host cities cash in.

“Maybe more people will watch the conventions than normal because they’re stuck inside because of the coronavirus pandemic,” argued CNN’s Harry Enten last weekend. “Still, the cumulative evidence suggests that a big convention bounce will be hard to come by this year.”

The popular statistical analysis website FiveThirtyEight – which gave Trump the same odds of winning this year that he beat in 2016 – cautioned in July that convention ‘bounce’ has been diminishing, “likely” due to polarized politics. Their analysis focused on how Trump will have a hard time boosting his ratings without the ability to hold large in-person rallies, due to the virus.

Reclaiming Our Culture from the Left

My latest in the American Thinker:

Everyone knows it: the death of George Floyd was just a pretext. The rioters who continue every night to wreak havoc in Portland, and who are poised to engage in new orgies of destruction all over the country don’t know much and care less about Floyd. They’re quite open about engaging in a “revolution” with the goal of destroying the existing order and replacing it with an authoritarian Marxist regime. But what we are seeing today is not new. Its seeds were planted decades ago. Now the question before us, if we want to preserve the United States as a free society, is what we must do to counter this violent, hate-filled movement.

There will be no easy fix. The Left’s long march through the institutions began in the 1960s and has ended in total victory; only a reverse march through the same institutions will ultimately overcome the catastrophic effects of the Left’s advance. The leftist stranglehold on the educational system is a big part of the problem: the Antifa and BLM barbarians of today learned their hatred at our colleges and universities. Our children have been taught to hate the land of their birth. Who didn’t think this would bear bitter fruit? There was some indignation among conservatives over the 1619 Project, which portrays the entire American enterprise as racist, oppressive, and hateful, winning the Pulitzer Prize, but that was just the culmination of decades of miseducation and propaganda disguised as education. I wrote Rating America’s Presidents: An America-First Look at Who Is Best, Who Is Overrated, and Who Was An Absolute Disaster as an antidote, to remind Americans, or show them for the first time, the heroes who made America great — and the failures and sellouts who got us into this fix.

But the education most of the rioters have received has made them abjectly incapable of thinking rationally and evaluating claims on the basis of their logical coherence and supporting evidence. No amount of careful reasoning, no amount of evidence is going to convince most of the rioters that their rage is based on false premises, because they have been carefully educated throughout their lives to feel rather than think, and to believe that America is a nation of deep injustice with a shameful history and an equally condemnable present. It doesn’t matter that the claims that the rioters and their defenders are making are false. It doesn’t matter that police brutality affects people of all races. It doesn’t matter that thoroughgoing civil rights legislation has made “systemic racism” a thing of the distant past.

There is much more. Read the rest here.

Unfit To Print Episode 66: Democratic Conspiracies About USPS are Russiagate 2.0

Democrats are accusing President Donald Trump of trying to steal the 2020 election by slowing down the mail and carting off mailboxes. Several viral tweets purported to show mailboxes being thrown out at industrial sites, while others claimed that mailboxes had red locks on them to make sure people couldn’t turn in their ballots.

The tweets were missing vital context, such as the fact that the mailboxes were being refurbished and that the USPS had to put locks on some boxes to prevent mail theft. In this week’s episode of “Unfit to Print,” Amber Athey breaks down how the Democrats are drumming up Russiagate 2.0 to preemptively dismiss the results of the election.

VIDEO: Pro-Trump Mother Speaks Out After Women Rip Up Signs, Steal MAGA Hat From Son

WATCH:

Abbey Wigton and Taylor Cisinski, two individuals who were say they were attacked by Joe Biden supporters, spoke with the Daily Caller’s Samantha Renck about the incident, if they plan to press charges and more.

“This altercation was completely unprovoked. My son and I were standing outside of a restaurant,” Wigton said, whose son Riley is 7 years old. “We weren’t even paying attention to the women until they walked out of the doors and immediately started antagonizing my son.”

Abbey alleged that the two women “started saying things like ‘you should be ashamed for having a mother like yours. She’s a Trump supporter. You should just be ashamed of yourself.’”

“As soon as I hit record, that’s when they ripped the sign away so it was almost instantly.”

Conservatives like Donald Trump, Jr. posted that the two women allegedly attacking Wigton, her son and Cisinski were Joe Biden supporters. According to an original statement by Wigton, which has since been deleted, she said, “The Joe Biden supporters laid hands on my child and ripped his ‘Make America Great Again’ hat from his head while cursing at him and pushing him over.”

When asked how she knew they were Biden supporters, Wigton said, “I didn’t necessarily know they were Joe Biden supporters. I just kind of assumed since they were so vehemently against me with the red hat on backward. They couldn’t even see what the lettering was on my hat. They just saw the red hat.”

Cisinski, who was also allegedly attacked, said he believes the incident was premeditated.

“How this whole situation started is, we were all sign-waving on a sidewalk,” he said, “peacefully protesting Joe Biden’s nomination speech. This group of people drove by in a car where they started to yell profanities and cussing at us.”

According to Cisinski, Riley was crying so “he picked him up and brought him away from” the situation, but “the video does not show that.”

Wignot and Cisinski also discussed whether they will press charges, how Riley is doing and more.

The Anti-American 2020 Democrat Vision of America

In 2008, candidate Barack Hussein Obama promised to fundamentally transform America. Most Americans assumed he meant uniting the country and bringing Americans closer to our forefathers’ dreams of peace, harmony, prosperity, and equality. In 2008, most Americans had no idea what candidate Obama actually meant. Now it is 2020, and now we know.

The United States of America was born in revolution to the revolutionary ideology of a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

Our forefathers rejected monarchy, oligarchy, aristocracy, theocracy, and statist centralized government in all its forms. They fought to establish a representative constitutional republic that valued individual freedom and equality among men. The moral and ethical structure of American society was rooted in the Judeo-Christian tradition and its Ten Commandments.

In 1776, the world was a very different place. Women were subservient to men. Slavery was practiced worldwide. Islam was not part of the American experience. It took seven weeks to sail from England to America, now it takes seven hours. This is important because all things are best understood in their historical context, especially politics.

According to Britannica’s, Islamic History From 1683 to the Present: Reform, Dependency, and Recovery, “The history of modern Islam has often been explained in terms of the impact of ‘the West.’ From this perspective the 18th century was a period of degeneration and a prelude to European domination, symbolized by Napoleon I’s conquest of Egypt in 1798.”

Since its 7th century inception, Islam has been an expansionist socio-political ideology with a universal Islamic caliphate as its objective. Islam is a supremacist theocracy, ruled by the tenets of religious sharia law, with no separation between mosque and state.

A supremacist theocracy is incompatible with a constitutional republic because the two foundational infrastructures are irreconcilable. Supremacist ideologies require conformity and centralized government. Representative republics require tolerance and decentralized government.

In the 21st century, under the anti-American, pro-Muslim leadership of Barack Hussein Obama, Islam experienced resurgence. The U.S. was flooded with Islam, Islamists, and America was forced to defer to Islamic conventions and norms at the expense of our American constitutional conventions and norms.

Obama invited Islam into every sphere of government, including the military, Homeland Security, and the Department of Education. Obama’s demand for political correctness forced Americans to defer to Islam’s prohibition against criticizing Islam or even mentioning religious jihad. Free speech died in America under Obama.

During Obama’s tenure the Muslim Brotherhood; Frank Marshall Davis, Obama’s communist mentor; Saul Alinsky, Obama’s socialist community organizing hero; Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s black supremacist religious leader; and George Soros, Obama’s radical leftist Democrat benefactor, guided public policy at the expense of the United States Constitution. In Barack Hussein Obama the leftist/Islamist/globalist axis found its home.

After leaving office Obama continued to lead the anti-American “resistance” movement against duly elected President Donald J. Trump, the existential enemy of the leftist/Islamist/globalist axis.

The more the radical leftist Democrats ally themselves with the supremacist attitudes of Islamists and globalists, the more they behave like political supremacists without any tolerance for opposing ideas. Radical leftism is the new religion embraced by the Democrat party and their 2020 platform.

Radical leftism rejects the Judeo-Christian tolerance and egalitarianism of our Founding Fathers. Instead, it embraces the supremacist attitudes of 7th century Islam, and the 18th century English monarchy that ignited the American revolution. Radical leftism is practiced with the aristocratic arrogance of the English crown, and the religious tyranny of orthodox sharia law. Radical leftism’s religious tenets of political correctness, moral relativism, and historical revisionism are sacrosanct. There is no division of church and state in 2020 radical Democrat leftism. Radical leftism exists as a tyrannical secular theocracy.

“The ends justify the means” is both the philosophical foundation of tyranny, and the rationalization for the tactics necessary to impose tyranny. Ideological expansionism is the foundation of Islamic expansionism and its intolerant sharia law. Likewise, ideological expansionism is the foundation of radical leftism and its intolerant tenets of political correctness, moral relativism, and historical revisionism.

The Islamic caliphate is Islam’s dreamworld that promises world peace when the whole world is Muslim. Socialism is radical leftism’s 2020 Democrat dreamworld that promises social justice and income equality when Americans are united in one Marxist-Leninist community. Both systems are political orthodoxies that demand absolute compliance and conformity, no different than the English monarchy our Founding Fathers fought against.

Obama’s vision of a fundamentally transformed America is a socialized America. What Obama and his fellow radical leftist Democrat useful idiots fail to understand is that socialism is just a stepping stone. Socialism has the centralized government required to impose globalism’s ultimate vision of a one-world government and the Great Reset.

Individual FREEDOM is what separates our decentralized constitutional republic from every form of centralized governance including socialism, Islamism, and globalism. The anti-American 2020 Democrat vision of America is precisely what candidate Obama intended when he promised to fundamentally transform America. His divisive pro-Muslim, pro-communist, anti-American policies facilitated the social chaos necessary for seismic change.

The country is currently being convulsed by the radical leftist policies being applied to manage the coronavirus, “for our own good” of course. Anarchy, looting, burning, and wildly inconsistent policies allowing Black Lives Matter protests but denying church services, should warn Americans about the tyranny of the new religion of radical leftism.

Our forefathers understood that there is no individual freedom in tyranny – only forced conformity.

This is 2020 – not 2008. If Americans are going to accept Obama’s radical leftist Democrat “ends justify the means” religion, they need to understand exactly what those ends are. The 2020 United States presidential election is the battle between globalism and Americanism. It is the fight between planetary central government and American sovereignty.

The dreams of our forefathers are not the dreams of Barack Obama’s father. If you value your freedom, do not vote for Obama’s Biden/Harris anti-American 2020 Democrat vision of a socialized America. It will inaugurate the New World Order of planetary centralized one-world government, the nightmare that even our Founding Fathers were unable to imagine. The world was a very different place in 1776.

Time To Boycott Goodyear

I’m not a fan of boycotts, but Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has crossed the line with me.

From Fox News:

Earlier this week, President Trump called for a boycott of Goodyear tires after a local news station in Kansas shared a slide of a diversity training presentation captured by an employee.  The slide, reportedly taken from a diversity training session, showed a list of acceptable and unacceptable phrases under Goodyear’s zero-tolerance policy.”  The slide listed “Black Lives Matter” under acceptable phrases, while the Trump slogan “Make America Great Again” and the pro-police slogan “Blue Lives Matter” were listed under unacceptable phrases.

When Goodyear stock sank 6% after the odious diversity training slide was revealed, Goodyear president and CEO Rich Kramer stepped in with an offensive display of corporate double-talk in hopes of limiting the damage:

I deeply regret the impression it has created and want to clarify Goodyear’s position.  First, to be clear, Goodyear does not endorse any political organization, party or candidate.

It may come as news to Mr. Kramer, but Black Lives Matter is a political organization, one that tightly aligns itself not only with one of America’s major political parties, but also with Marxism, an ideology that is anti-American in the most profound meaning of the term.

Kramer continued:

Second, Goodyear strongly supports our law enforcement partners and deeply appreciates all they do to put their lives on the line each and every day for our communities.

I have more news for Mr. Kramer.  A company cannot say with a straight face that it supports law enforcement when it cozies up to a rabid police-hating organization whose members were filmed chanting, “What do we want?  Dead cops!  When do we want it?  Now!”

A local NBC News affiliate in Kansas published an audio recording of the Topeka plant’s diversity training indoctrination, which you can listen to here.

As previously mentioned, I do not like boycotts of U.S. companies.  But unless something is done to strike back at the cancer of sanctimonious political correctness that infects most of corporate America, this great nation is doomed to fall from within to the Marxists in our midst.

Below is the letter I sent to Goodyear via its corporate email form.  Those who would like to send a message of their own can access the form by clicking here and then scrolling down to “Customer Assistance.”

Richard J. Kramer

Chairman, president & CEO

Dear Mr. Kramer:

I’ve traded with the local Goodyear store since 1978, but that longtime relationship has come to a screeching halt.

A training video at the company’s Topeka plant reports that Goodyear employees are permitted to wear apparel supporting Black Lives Matter, but that any form of political expression is prohibited.

For your information, Black Lives Matter IS a political organization, one that is using the noble cause of racial equality as a fig leaf to disguise its radical Marxist ideology.

By giving aid and comfort to a violent organization that teaches black people to hate their country and the police, Goodyear has burned its bridges with me.

Furthermore, I intend to make my position known far and wide via email and social media.

Levi Strauss Supports Radical Transgender Ideology

The clothing retailer Levi Strauss (1.00) recently stepped up its one-sided political activism when it filed an amicus brief with the Eleventh Circuit Court in favor of a gender-confused teenager denied access to the men’s restroom. Drew Adams is a girl who identifies as a boy, and when her high school in St. Johns County Florida said she must use the girls’ bathroom or a single-stall one, Adams sued and won. The ruling of the lower court that sided with Adams was recently upheld by an appeals court after corporations like Levi’s supported Adams’ Title IX discrimination claim.

Levi’s open celebration of Adams’ high school being forced to submit to a liberal gender ideology shows the company values social justice politics more than their customers’ safety and comfort. Teenager girls should not have to face males in their restrooms, locker rooms, or sports teams, but that’s where Levi wants our culture to go. They’re also adding to children’s confusion about their gender.

Taking such a blatantly left-wing point of view will only isolate Levi’s from their conservative customers and middle-of-the-road parents who are concerned about the kids’ safety. Levi’s clear support for teens who have tried to change their gender will also influence more children to take this unhealthy path.

In 2016, girls like Adams accounted for 46% of sex reassignment surgeries in the U.S. Only one year later, that number spiked to 70%. Levi’s normalizing of transgenderism is unlikely to lead to a decrease in this trend. All of this should be more than enough reasoning for 2ndVote shoppers to patronize businesses that prioritize customer service over politics.

Eddie Baur 3.00, Carhartt 3.00, Anthropologie 2.43, and Tommy Hilfiger 3.00 have demonstrated how much they value their customers by taking a neutral approach to politics. Let Levi’s know they should follow these company’s examples and stop fueling children’s insecurities about their gender.

VIDEOS: Hillary Clinton, Malevolent Child

Donald Trump is “denigrating” our “democracy,” said Hillary Clinton in the October 19, 2016 presidential debate, responding to Trump’s statement that he may not accept a possibly fraudulent election’s outcome. Since that election, Clinton has by her own professed standard been doing nothing but denigrating our system — and now she’s at it again.

“Don’t forget, Joe and Kamala can win by three million votes and still lose. Take it from me,” said she during her Wednesday Democratic National Convention speech. “So we need numbers overwhelming, so Trump can’t sneak or steal his way to victory,” she continued (video below).

This has been a recurring Clinton theme. Aside from her many excuses for losing in 2016, as she made herself Stacey Abrams’s archetype, is the implication that she’s the election’s true winner because she captured the popular vote. Spouting this destructive rhetoric makes her worse than just the unstable person Johnson characterizes her as above — it reveals her as a malevolent child.

Something necessary for true civilization is governance by rule of law, part of which is abiding by election outcomes that accord with established and long-accepted laws. Even children instinctively grasp this concept.

As a few readers know, I once was a serious competitive tennis player. After quitting the satellite circuit (tantamount to baseball’s minor leagues), I taught the game for many years, and among my duties was running a children’s “match play” program.

Now, in tennis, you can actually win more games than your opponent but lose the match (example: being defeated 6-0, 6-7, 6-7, which gives you 18 games to the other player’s 14). Never, though, in all my years in the sport, did I ever see even the smallest, most immature child lose under such circumstances and protest, “I really won!” You knew the rules, you accepted the rules, so you accepted an outcome determined under them.

This said, most children are immature, but not malevolently Machiavellian. This brings us back to callow Clinton. “That’s horrifying,” she exclaimed during the aforementioned 2016 debate in response to Trump saying he would “look at it at the time” before revealing whether he’d accept the election’s outcome.

“Let’s be clear about what he is saying and what that means, she continued. “He is denigrating — he is talking down our democracy. And I am appalled that someone who is the nominee of one of our two major parties would take that position” (video below).

And here is pre-Nov. 8 2016 Clinton further condemning post-Nov.8 2016 Clinton:

Now, it’s no surprise the Democrats despise the Electoral College; after all, Republicans have won the popular vote only once in the last 28 years (G.W. Bush, 2004). It’s okay to propose an amendment to switch to a popular-vote system, too (though I adamantly oppose it), as this is using our republic’s established mechanisms to effect change, lawfully.

But throwing a tantrum and questioning legitimate outcomes is something else entirely. Note that there’s no comparison between Trump’s and Clinton’s attitudes. Trump was warning that vote fraud was a reality and that, for this reason, it might be necessary to sometimes challenge electoral outcomes.

In contrast, Clinton has questioned the 2016 electoral outcome citing imaginary boogeymen (Russia!) and her having won the popular vote.

To equate these perspectives is like supposing that a tennis player who questions a match result because his opponent cheated (i.e., bad line calls) is acting identically to one who questions a result merely because he won more games than his opponent. It’s silly.

In reality, contesting a fraudulent election can strengthen our republic by encouraging the rule of law and attacking the fraud.

Contesting an election won under long established standards undermines our republic by “denigrating” the rule of law and attacking the system itself.

Moreover, the truth is the opposite of Clinton’s claims: While Trump’s Electoral College victory is absolutely legitimate, there is question as to Clinton’s popular vote margin because vote fraud is rampant.

Oh, don’t take my word for it. Just consider what NYC’s then-election commissioner, Democrat Alan Schulkin, revealed on hidden video in 2016. “I think there’s a lot of voter fraud,” he admitted, as he talked about how people are “bussed” around to vote illegally (video below).

This was followed by a Project Veritas sting video showing a Democrat operative named Scott Foval giving advice on committing the fraud, saying it has been going on for 50 years and that it “doesn’t matter what the friggin’ legal and ethics people say; we need to win this m****rf****r” (video below. Warning: vulgar language).

It’s not hyperbole to characterize Clinton and other leftists as childish, for such people never matured spiritually, philosophically and morally. The problem is that they can’t be corrected with a spanking, and when they have enough power, well, you might as well then be governed by the malevolent, sociopathic little girl in the Bad Seed.
