Failed Obama Has-Been Rahm Emanuel Launches Vicious Attack on Netanyahu in Tel Aviv speech

The now irrelevant Obama has been means to get into the 2028 Presidential race. How does he make waves and get publicity? By attacking the Jewish state. Sick.

The Democrat party is now officially the party of Jew hatred. This is the hill they are prepared to die on.

The former failed mayor of Chicago and Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel blasted Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu in a loathsome speech at Tel Aviv University. Emanuel seeks to improve his credibility with Jew-haters in the U.S, so that he can boost his upcoming presidential campaign. The useful idiot Emanuel hates Netanyahu because he will not allow the genocidal Palestinian Authority to establish a terror state in Judea and Samaria. Fortunately, few in Israel care what Emanuel says. And Emanuel’s chances of being elected POTUS are slim to none.

Rahm Emanuel: ‘Israel will become a prisoner of its own tools’

By The Hill, July 8th, 2026

Former U.S. Ambassador to Japan Rahm Emanuel on Wednesday tore into Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying in a speech at Tel Aviv University that the prime minister has put Israel on the path of becoming “a prisoner of its own tools.”

Emanuel praised Israel’s achievements since it was established in 1948. He said the county he “grew up believing in was about making the impossible real. Having built the imagination and the tenacity to make the desert bloom.”

But he issued a warning about its current trajectory.

“In the United States, we have a saying: ‘If all you have is a hammer, everything you look at is a nail,’” he continued. “Israel will become a prisoner of its own tools. Your military is a hammer, such that, to the prime minister, Netanyahu, every security challenge is a nail.”

Directing his attention to Netanyahu, Emanuel said the prime minister and his government “have led Israel to a dead end … without conditions, without demands, without consequences” from Washington, a reaction he said was a “mistake.”

Florida Just Showed Us How to Fight Back Against Media Blacklists

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis put his signature on the state’s new budget last week and tucked inside is a provision worth celebrating.

State agencies in Florida are now barred, for a second straight year, from hiring advertising firms that use “misinformation” ratings to decide which news outlets deserve ad dollars and which don’t.

I’ll be upfront with you: I’m a co-founder of the Independent Media Council, the coalition that has pushed hard for this policy, precisely because I’ve seen how media blacklists are used against conservative outlets like the Daily Signal.

How NewsGuard Monitors Media

My enthusiasm for such a provision comes not only from my personal experience, but also because the underlying problem is real and getting worse with the growing use of AI agents.

Outfits like NewsGuard, Ad Fontes Media, and the Global Disinformation Index built businesses around slapping scores on news organizations—supposedly measuring “reliability” or “brand safety.” Their scoring system functions as a censorship mechanism, giving advertising firms an excuse to spend money with left-leaning outlets while starving conservative and independent publishers of revenue.

The people running these rating operations aren’t neutral referees. The Media Research Center has published multiple studies documenting that NewsGuard’s scores consistently favor left-of-center outlets over their conservative counterparts.

One such analysis found NewsGuard awarded left-leaning outlets an average score of 91 out of 100, compared to just 66 for conservative outlets. An organization with that kind of lopsided grading has no business telling anyone which news outlets to trust.

It’s precisely what we’ve experienced at the Daily Signal, and it’s why I’m grateful to DeSantis for signing a budget that puts an end to this practice.

Momentum Is Building Against Blacklists

Florida lawmakers have given other states a model to follow. For the second straight year, those lawmakers wrote the anti-censorship provision into the state budget, making Florida one of the first government entities to acknowledge that taxpayer money shouldn’t be used to blacklist media outlets.

“By signing this provision for a second year, Florida is sending a clear message that taxpayer-funded advertising should be focused on reaching the broadest possible audience, not filtered through politically motivated media blacklist systems,” Christine Czernejewski, spokesperson for the Independent Media Council, said in a statement.

The ripple effects are already visible beyond Tallahassee.

Earlier this year, West Virginia passed its own First Amendment Preservation Act to guard against the same kind of government-enabled viewpoint discrimination. Congress has included similar language in the National Defense Authorization Act, cutting off the Pentagon’s ability to funnel huge sums of ad spending through firms that use these biased scoring systems.

Under the direction of Federal Trade Commission Chairman Andrew N. Ferguson, the FTC announced in April that it was taking action against the advertising industry’s practices, including how merger reviews and enforcement actions touch on viewpoint-based discrimination.

These steps collectively point to a positive trend after years of complaints by conservative media outlets.

A Fight With National Consequences

The truth is that a rigged system doesn’t just hurt conservative media; it harms every publisher and creator who isn’t part of the legacy media establishment that these rating agencies seem to favor.

More states should now follow Florida’s example—and the IMC is intent on making that a reality.

“What began as a first-in-the-nation effort is increasingly becoming a national movement,” Czernejewski said. “Policymakers across the country are recognizing that government advertising dollars should not be used to subsidize censorship or reward organizations that discriminate based on viewpoint.”

I’ve seen firsthand what it costs when these blacklists go unchecked—and I’ve also seen what’s possible when lawmakers finally decide taxpayer dollars shouldn’t be part of the problem.

The rest of the country is watching—it’s time to act.

Mamdani’s Sour Independence Day Address Shows How Little He Understands America

This Independence Day, countless Americans celebrated our country’s 250th anniversary in countless jubilatory ways, from grilling in the backyard to going to fireworks shows and even traveling to Mt. Vernon to pay respects to the Father of Our Country.

But a certain socialist mayor of New York City took the occasion to deliver a speech in a tone that made it seem like he was turning in a homework assignment on a topic he hated.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s speech before the July Fourth festivities was an epic downer, a perfect example of aspirational leftist rhetoric masking a notable dearth of genuine patriotism.

It’s not nearly as important as the content, but the optics were bad too.

As a man once said, you’d find more cheer in a graveyard. You’d think Mamdani would get some extras who at least looked like they wanted to be there.

Mamdani’s wife didn’t even show up, though it’s doubtful she would have brought up the energy level. She reportedly went on an “Islamic spiritual wellness” retreat in Spain rather than stay for the Independence Day events. It was a coincidence, I’m sure.

So, this was a solemn, dour occasion in which even when Mamdani tried to squeeze out some praise for America, it was laced with straw men and passive-aggressive contempt.

I’m not exaggerating, it really was terrible.

“We are told that America is exceptional because we are richer, stronger, more powerful than everyone else,” he said at one point. “ … The truth, my friends, is that America is exceptional because here, nothing is fixed into place.”

Mamdani obviously doesn’t spend too much time with people who believe America is exceptional.

Being rich and powerful is merely a byproduct of America’s greatness.

However, if you’ve gone through life believing that Howard Zinn’s “A People’s History of the United States” is true, then this is the kind of phony image of our self-conception you might come up with.

Mamdani’s intent was clearly to draw a line between his false version of America’s past as greedy and rapacious compared to its assumedly more generous, borderless socialist future that he and his friends intend to usher in.

We are supposed to believe that by handing the keys to our future over to the perpetually aggrieved, we’ll finally not be a bad country. And that hope is the only thing that keeps them invested in the place they apparently call “home.”

Mamdani continued to list in his speech a series of people who had escaped one oppression or another and ended up here in another land of oppressions that was maybe OK sometimes.

How inspiring.

The speech drew praise from some Democrat politicians and left-wing commentators, but it seems even Mamdani’s comms team knew that the vibe was off.

He followed up with a slightly more upbeat X post that nevertheless defined patriotism as “every act of righteous dissent — because loving our country means fighting for the best version of it.”

The boys of Pointe du Hoc and the young men who suffered at Valley Forge are, I guess, a cut below on Mamdani’s patriotism scale because they simply fought for the America that was.

I’ll counter that America was great when we were nothing but a collection of bankrupt states clinging to existence at the edge of the world in the shadow of the British empire.

America may be a land of perpetual motion, but what makes it special is in part what’s fixed in place.

“If all men are created equal, that is final,” Calvin Coolidge said at America’s 150th anniversary. “If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions.”

From that hinge point of our country’s creation, millions upon millions of Americans helped build the most extraordinary country that has yet existed.

Did everyone succeed, was every law just, did everything work perfectly? Obviously not. We live in America, not the Kingdom of Heaven.

Down here, among the fallen, we’ve done quite a bit better than the rest in our 250 years.

You wouldn’t think that listening to the mayor of New York.

You’d think the American experience was no more than a series of miseries until a wealthy Indian child of a Bollywood producer and anti-colonialist professor settled here after a brief stop in Uganda, set up shop a hot second ago, and began to set things right.

Like so many others on the left, his only fondness for America appears to be in what he hopes it will be, not what it is or has been.

When in power they are “patriots,” when they aren’t it’s nothing but sour faces and complaints.

Former Hostage Confronts Jew-hating U.N. “Expert” Who Denied Sexual Violence Against Israelis

No backlash from feminist groups, human rights groups, MSM, et. al. The UN is an unbelievably heinous organization and should be dismantled.

Former Hostage Confronts U.N. Expert Who Denied Sexual Violence Against Israelis

In response, UN Watch brought former Hamas captive Ilana Gritzewsky to the floor of the United Nations to confront Alsalem and deliver the truth in a dramatic testimony.

By UN Watch, June 26th, 2026

Reem Alsalem — the UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women — has repeatedly minimized or dismissed Hamas atrocities committed on October 7. As recently as April 2026, she dismissed allegations of Hamas sexual crimes against Israelis as “misinformation” used to “justify the genocide against Palestinians.”

In response, UN Watch brought former Hamas captive Ilana Gritzewsky to the floor of the United Nations to confront Alsalem and deliver the truth in a dramatic testimony.

Full Speech:

Special Rapporteur, your report speaks about violence against women. Why is there no mention of Hamas?

On October 7, terrorists stormed our Kibbutz — murdering, kidnapping, and burning.

I was beaten and mutilated before blacking out.

I woke up half naked with seven terrorists standing over me, not knowing what happened to me in those lost moments.

I went through days of pain and horror in captivity, and even now the feeling of being powerless and violated still lingers.

I came back with a broken hip, a broken jaw and a shattered soul.

People see my face and think I’m free. But freedom is not a switch. Trauma doesn’t vanish once you are released.

Now, every air-raid siren, and every rocket from Iran, throws me back into that hell.

On October 7, and in captivity, Jewish women were raped, abused, and humiliated.

And you, Special Rapporteur, you chose silence and denial.

Ms. Alsalem, you said there was no evidence of sexual violence on October 7.

I am standing here today — not as a report, not as a statistic.

I am a woman who survived. I am the living proof of sexual violence by Hamas.

When I and other Israeli women begged not to be raped, why were you silent?

Please look at me. Do you believe us now?

Will you apologize?

THE PCR FRAUD: How Fauci’s Testing Regime Drove Lockdowns, Mandates, and Government Control

The administrative state orchestrated a calculation during the global pandemic, utilizing specific diagnostic infrastructure to drive a nationwide enforcement regime. Anthony Fauci, acting as the primary architect of the federal response via the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), deployed hyper-amplified diagnostic parameters to mandate unprecedented economic and societal lockouts. This strategic mobilization substituted clinical confirmation with automated data collection, forcing compliance and establishing a blueprint for institutional control.

Anthony Fauci directed a command-and-control apparatus that dismantled localized medical autonomy and enforced absolute policy adherence across federal and corporate sectors. By shifting the state response from optional guidance to rigid containment directives, the public health leadership created an operational environment where alternate medical strategies faced immediate institutional suppression. Federal executive powers restricted public assembly, disrupted small commerce, and penalized individual resistance, utilizing public health agencies as an enforcement arm.

The administrative architecture penalized non-compliance by design. State governors and municipal authorities received direct allocations of emergency funding tied explicitly to the execution of federal mitigation protocols. This structural mechanism transformed local health networks into branches of a centralized command structure, ensuring that internal dissent from independent medical practitioners encountered professional decertification and systemic exclusion.

The foundational engine of the lockdown regime relied on the specific operational configuration of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing. Public health authorities standardized cycle threshold (Ct) values at 35 cycles or higher across mass testing facilities, a technical threshold that amplifies non-infectious, residual viral fragments rather than live, transmissible pathogens. This data expansion inflated overall case profiles, generating the empirical justification required to maintain continuous emergency declarations.

Epidemiological evaluations highlight that high-cycle amplification captures genetic debris from past exposures, misclassifying healthy individuals as active transmission vectors. This deliberate metric inflation bypassed the traditional requirement for differential clinical diagnosis, substituting real-world sickness with laboratory-generated amplification. By treating every positive genetic fragment as an active hazard, the administrative state built a self-perpetuating metric engine that demanded ongoing restriction protocols.

The administration executed its vaccine distribution campaign by systematically removing the possibility of informed consent, leveraging employment and basic civil liberties to compel public submission. Federal directives targeted corporate workforces, military personnel, and healthcare staff with explicit ultimatums: accept the experimental mRNA biological countermeasure or face immediate termination. This approach converted private medical decisions into mandatory conditions for societal participation.

Federal directives targeted corporate workforces, military personnel, and healthcare staff with explicit ultimatums, executing coercion through distinct sector-specific mechanisms that carried severe systemic consequences. Within the healthcare sector, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) reimbursement penalties forced hospital compliance, resulting in mass resignations and critical staff shortages. Concurrently, the military branches weaponized the Uniform Code of Military Justice to mandate compliance, enforcing dishonorable discharges and expulsions for non-compliant service members.

In the private sector, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) deployed Emergency Temporary Standards, inflicting widespread loss of income and career termination upon millions of citizens. Hospital networks functioned as centralized nodes within this enforcement ecosystem. Federal relief legislation linked intensive care reimbursements and diagnostic bonuses to the strict application of NIAID-approved protocols, including specific ventilation guidelines and pharmaceutical treatments. This financial structure penalized alternative early-intervention methods, ensuring that institutional revenue streams remained dependent on absolute adherence to federal mandates.

The federal public health infrastructure consistently minimized early safety indicators to preserve the velocity of the injection campaign. Pharmacovigilance tracking networks logged unprecedented numbers of adverse cardiovascular events, yet regulatory bodies delayed safety revisions and resisted modifications to active mandates. Independent post-mortem investigations and clinical registries documented concrete patterns of vaccine-induced myocardial inflammation, particularly within younger, low-risk demographics.

Simultaneously, the administrative leadership systematically disregarded the established science of post-infection immunity. By forcing individuals with robust natural defenses to undergo mandatory vaccination under threat of exclusion, the state demonstrated that its primary objective was uniform population compliance rather than targeted epidemiological protection. This policy framework intentionally erased decades of established immunological data to preserve the operational authority of the universal mandate.

The operational records, regulatory actions, and subsequent medical assessments of this era are preserved across multiple international repositories and historical archives:

  • Executive Mandates and Federal Directives: The complete legislative frameworks, executive orders, and federal agency instructions governing the pandemic response are archived in official federal registries. These records document how OSHA deployed Emergency Temporary Standards, inflicting widespread loss of income and career termination upon millions of citizens who refused to submit to the corporate mandate.
  • Human Rights and Civil Liberty Assessments: Thorough legal and social reviews concerning the restriction of movement, career termination, and the suppression of informed consent are maintained by Human Rights Watch Global Reports.
  • Clinical Data and Cardiotoxicity Registries: Peer-reviewed evaluations, systematic autopsy reviews, and adverse event tracking reports regarding post-vaccination complications reside in the national medical library via the National Institutes of Health PubMed Database.
Ultimately, this multi-layered enforcement campaign severed the traditional relationship between citizen and state, replacing constitutional liberties with absolute bureaucratic decrees. By weaponizing livelihoods, careers, and economic survival, the administrative apparatus achieved near-total societal compliance through structural duress rather than medical consensus.

Critics of Iran Deal Dead Wrong

Many years ago, my daughter Karen saw the movie “Grease” 20 times! By the fifth time, she could recite every line, even every lyric from every song.

So, I ask myself, what is both wrong and wrong-headed with all the…

  • seasoned foreign correspondents,
  • journalists worldwide,
  • military experts,
  • think-tank personnel,
  • social-media know-it-alls,
  • so-called influencers,
  • actual diplomats,
  • serious lifetime students of Middle East history,
  • Jewish organizations,
  • diaspora denizens,
  • sophisticated Israeli leaders,
  • political activists,
  • largely clueless celebrities,
  • egghead academics,
  • the world-is-coming-to-an-enders,
  • Even POTUS’s own CIA director, John Ratcliffe, warned that the Arab signatures to this deal would never honor their pledge

…and all the other hand-wringing, pearl-clutching, hair-pulling-out, Xanax-popping pessimists and skeptics and cynics who actually think that President Trump not only lost his mind by forging and signing the Iran Deal, but that he abandoned our staunch ally Israel and, in essence, guaranteed  that a nuclear Iran would ultimately fulfill its longtime stated goals: to utterly destroy the Big Satan, America, and the Little Satan, Israel?

HAVEN’T ALL OF YOU SEEN THIS MOVIE BEFORE?

I was not witness to what I fervently believe is a phone conversation––or two or three or four––that took place between President Donald J. Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu well before this historic “deal” was signed, but I bet it’s pretty accurate!

DJT: “Bibi…You’ve served your country a helluva lot longer than I’ve served mine, so you know what it takes to juggle all the priorities, all the noise in your ears, all the crazies. Well, that’s me right now. I have the midterms coming up and you’ve seen how the California vote was just rigged…just like the entire presidential election of 2020 was rigged …and you’ve seen how even celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary the other day was interrupted by a plot to overthrow our entire government… and the bastards who did this admired Hitler and said they wanted to inflict harm on politicians linked to Israel!

“So, this is the plan. I present an Iran Deal that has a lot of good things in it, it’s a 12-point plan, but both of us know the players and how untrustworthy they are to honor to any agreement. But to convince the populace that it’s the real thing, I’ll have to let a lot of that big public out there believe that you and I are at odds… I’ll have to insult you and even use a few vulgarities, you understand. Believe me, I wasn’t a TV star for 14 years without learning what the public eats up.”

Bibi: “I ‘get it’ 100 percent, Mr. President, and I’m on board. I will make all the right sounds, for instance: ‘We know we are on our own but we cannot afford to leave Lebanon to Hezbollah, we value your amazing support in moving the embassy to Jerusalem, in the Abraham Accords, and in helping to destroy Iran’s military and economy and many nuclear sites…but I’m sure you also ‘get it’ Mr. President, that our mutually agreed upon charade cannot last past the midterms.’”

DJT: “Absolutely, Bibi… I promise you that one day past our victory in the midterms, if they don’t honor every word of our Memo of Understanding (MOU), we will wipe those bastards out…and their lust for nukes to annihilate the Big Satan, us…the USA, and the Little Satan, you, Israel, God’s gift to the Jewish people! And by the way, I know they’re saying that I denied Israel access to the deal before it was signed, but that’s because I knew the Saudis had it and would release it for you and all the world to see, which they’ve already done.”

Bibi: “I’m intimately familiar with MOUs, Mr. President, and I know that they only state what both sides understand, what objectives they’re pursuing, and how they intend to move forward….and that is far from a final binding agreement with detailed enforcement, verification, implementation, and consequences for violations. But I have to say, and I’m sure you will understand and agree, Mr. President, that we in Israel are 100% determined to prevent these virulent anti-Semites from ever ever ever getting a nuclear weapon.”

DJT: “Good, good…of course you do! But I also want you to understand that I have to slam you about the war in Lebanon that you’re waging against Hezbollah. Don’t remind me that they’re a terrorist group, Bibi. I know exactly who they are and the terror and violence they’ve inflicted on Israel since 1982 and even up to today. I have a few researchers too, Bibi. In this agreement, I’m recommending that Syria do the job, that Syria destroy Hezbollah. But if this monster group continues to attack Israel, then do what you have to and know that my criticism is all about this Iran deal and not because I don’t applaud you for getting rid of these terrorist maggots in your midst. I would do the exact same thing!

“But don’t forget, Bibi, the deal requires you to withdraw from Lebanon within two months, so don’t drag your feet!

ESCALATING WORDS

Bibi: “Understood, Mr. President, but sometimes I don’t know what to believe. I just read that the other day when you had a bilateral meeting with Qatar’s delegation, you said that Israel was “killing too many people” and that “without the US, there would be no Israel,” and that without you, there would be no Israel because no other President was willing to do what you did.”

DJT: “Bibi, Bibi, Bibi… consider the source! This comes from a NY tabloid that has been very supportive of me…before this deal! So, they make up stuff that can’t be verified because it never happened and the gullible readers eat it up… and it gives them something to argue about until the next fake news comes along.

“And that’s not the worst of it. They’re all piling on. Even my pal General Jack Keane said the deal was an “absurdity.” Can you believe that?

“And Reza Pahlavi, y’know the exiled crown prince of Iran who wants to be the next leader there––I know him, he’s a nice guy––but now he’s saying the deal is doomed to fail.

“And who is this Tobin fellow who says the deal is ‘a staggering defeat for the United States, for Israel’ and for myself personally? He calls it a ‘triumph for Tehran.’ What’s the matter with him?”

Bibi: “Tobin’s a good guy, Mr. President, but he’s just upset. Like a lot of other people, he simply doesn’t grasp the thinking of a Big Picture guy like you. I’m sure you know Al D’Amato, the retired New York Senator. He was a Big Picture guy too. They used to say that Al thought like a Chess player who was always six moves ahead of the opposition.  But most people are small-picture people…they just see what’s in front of them and that’s it.”

DJT: “Very good, Bibi. So true. They also don’t see, as a very good writer wrote about the other day, that the real target of my deal with Iran was Obama.

“Obama was the target of this operation, Bibi. Imagine, he sent billions of dollars to Iran in cash––in cash! —to create the JCPOA so Iran could build nuclear weapons. And he knew then, as everyone should know now, that the mullahs in Iran would use those weapons to fulfill their lifetime goal of destroying Israel. It is so obvious. It is so simple. And yet, a very anti-Semitic world won’t see what is right in front of them.”

Bibi: “And they will also refuse to hear what you said at the G7 conference the other day, that if [Iran] doesn’t honor the deal, ‘we’ll probably go back to bombing them until they honor it.’”

DJT: “Exactly, Bibi. They can throw around words  about me like backstabber, hypocrite, saboteur, but you know that history has a long arc. In this case, the last chapter has not been written.”

Bibi: “True, true, true, Mr. President…no one knows that more than the Jewish people.”

DJT: Gotta run now, Bibi, for a dozen meetings and a half-dozen flights. Keep the faith, my friend. You and I and Israel and America are inextricably bound forever!”

Bibi: Thank you, Mr. President and God Bless America and Am Yisrael Chai!

Journalistic Terrorism: AP omits mention of Hizballah strikes on Israel in its report on breaking of ‘ceasefire’

This is the consistent pattern of the establishment media. In every report without exception, AP and its comrades omit or distort facts in order to make Israel appear to be the aggressor. Israel stated from the beginning that it would not abide by Trump’s surrender deal, and would defend itself against Hizballah aggression. That aggression came swiftly, in the form of rocket and drone attacks, and Israel responded. Hizballah top dogs likely knew that they could count on the international media to portray them as the innocent victims of Israeli aggression, and AP, which for years shared its Gaza headquarters with Hamas, jumped into line.

“Israel and Hezbollah agree to renew their ceasefire, officials say,” by Erin Cunningham, Jon Gambrell, and Aamer Madhani, Associated Press, June 18, 2026:

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel and the Hezbollah militant group agreed Friday to renew their ceasefire after fighting postponed Iran-U.S. talks in Switzerland, three officials said.

Word of the ceasefire came from two regional officials and a U.S. official. The truce was mediated by Qatar, the U.S. and Iran, the regional officials said.

Israel and Hezbollah did not immediately comment.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. AP’s earlier story follows below.

JERUSALEM (AP) — Talks between the U.S. and Iran were called off Friday after intense fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, officials said, raising questions about an initial agreement to end the war in Iran.

Iranian officials didn’t travel as planned to Switzerland, insisting that the fighting in Lebanon must stop before the talks can take place, according to three regional officials and a fourth person familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive conversations behind the scenes. U.S. Vice President JD Vance also postponed his trip.

Israel’s military struck targets in southern and eastern Lebanon overnight, and Hezbollah reported intense fighting. Lebanon’s Health Ministry said at least 21 people were killed, and Israel said four soldiers died….

Reality: “Four IDF soldiers killed by Hezbollah drone strike in Lebanon,” Jewish News Syndicate, June 19, 2026

Four Israel Defense Forces soldiers were killed overnight during fighting in Southern Lebanon, the military announced on Friday, in what appears to have been a Hezbollah drone strike targeting a tank….

According to initial reports, the soldiers were killed when an explosive drone struck the battalion commander’s tank.

The incident marked a significant escalation along the northern border and underscored continuing tensions despite the ceasefire arrangements between Israel and Lebanon….

Murdering Thug Karmelo Anthony

I wrote this only because it illustrates, once again, the idiocy of the Marxists who are part of the Black Lives Matter, Critical Race Theory movement who frame every event or activity that they don’t like in the form of racism.

This was murder and a knife with a 5″ blade was used by thug Karmelo Anthony to  penetrate the sternum and pierce the heart of  unarmed white teenager Austin Metcalf at a track meet.

This was hardly self-defense and the excuse by Anthony’s defenders that it was only a “multi-tool” is ridiculous or that someone tapping someone on shoulder is grounds for being murdered.

Karmelo Anthony was found guilty of murder by a jury of his peers.

DEADLY PHOTO: We Now Know What Karmelo Anthony’s Knife Looked Like, and It Was No Quaint Leatherman Multitool

By Samantha Chang

Race-hustling apologists for convicted murderer Karmelo Anthony beclowned themselves by insisting that the knife Anthony used to kill high school track star Austin Metcalf was not a “deadly weapon” because it looked like a Swiss Army Knife multitool.

The harebrained gaslighting unfolded Wednesday during a virtual panel discussion hosted by Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas.

Crockett — whom President Donald Trump called a “very low-IQ person — try to downplay the lethality of the murder weapon by claiming it was too small to be deadly.

‘So it was small,” the congresswoman said.

“Well, I would have argued the size of it alone, you wouldn’t even think it’s a deadly weapon.’”

Crockett‘s brain-dead reasoning ignited a social media backlash, with numerous X commenters underscoring that anything can be a deadly weapon if you repeatedly stab someone with it.

The Unholy Alliance Between Islam and the Left

The progressive establishment in the United States maintains a transactional syndicate with radical Islamist factions to lock down institutional power. This structural cartel sacrifices Western secular principles, democratic consistency, and basic human rights on the altar of raw electoral survival.

The political left and Islamist organizers operate a highly coordinated machine built on mutual opportunism. Progressivism delivers mainstream legitimacy, legal defense, and institutional cover to fundamentalist groups. In return, the Islamist infrastructure guarantees monolithic voter turnout and massive financial injections into progressive campaign chests. This transaction abandons core progressive principles – including secularism, gender equality, and LGBTQ safety – to shield orthodox religious systems from public scrutiny.

An extensive analysis published by the Policy Exchange Research Group on Islamism and the Left details the deep ideological affinity and historical roots of this epistemic alliance against the liberal democratic order. The investigation demonstrates how both factions actively weaponize identical narratives of Western oppression to close down open debate and dismantle standard legal equality.

The human and societal costs of this alliance manifest through specific, systemic points of failure inside American institutions:

  • The Voting Bloc Extortion: Progressive strategists systematically map and court orthodox religious districts, offering total legislative silence on radical fundamentalism in exchange for block-voting guarantees. Data compiled by the Pew Research Center on American Muslim Political Behavior confirms that fully two-thirds of this constituency operates as a consolidated voting apparatus for a single political party, creating a capture mechanism over local municipalities.
  • The Municipal Capture and Fiscal Subversion: This municipal capture triggers immediate structural decay. Once these coalitions secure local executive offices, they systematically divert taxpayer funds into sectarian religious fronts disguised as community outreach initiatives. The document describes how domestic radical hubs exploit these loosened local oversight mechanisms to embed fundamentalist actors into regional governance boards, effectively hijacking public school boards, city councils, and municipal law enforcement oversight committees.
  • The Academic Erasure of Human Rights: Left-wing departments inside American universities systematically erase fundamentalist atrocities from curricula to protect their domestic political allies. Secular critics, ex-Muslims, and authentic human rights defenders face aggressive censorship, blacklisting, and professional ruin on campuses when they expose the systemic abuse of women and minorities under Islamist control.
  • The Orchestrated Media Blackout: The syndicate maintains a rigid information gatekeeping operation across dominant media conglomerates to sanitize public perception. Newsrooms systematically bury domestic intelligence briefings regarding homegrown radicalization cells to protect the political reputation of their Islamist partners. This deliberate suppression of truth isolates the American public from reality; major outlets completely omit verified indicators of rising fundamentalist militancy. Concrete data compiled confirms that shielding toxic ideologies from journalistic investigation directly accelerates the spread of clandestine recruitment networks inside urban centers, converting domestic media into an active accomplice of institutional subversion.
  • The Weaponization of Civil Rights Bureaucracy: Radical legal networks leverage progressive anti-discrimination frameworks to insulate extremist individuals from federal surveillance and criminal investigation. Law enforcement agencies face immediate, coordinated public character assassination campaigns whenever they target fundamentalist terror finance cells operating under the guise of domestic non-profit organizations.
  • The Illicit Financial Pipeline: The progressive apparatus deliberately blinds financial regulatory bodies to ensure the unhindered flow of dark money into joint political action committees. Wealthy foreign donors and fundamentalist non-governmental organizations funnel millions through shell networks to bankroll progressive primary challengers. Official findings detailed in the European Union Journal on Terror Finance and Money Laundering expose how these transnational financial networks exploit domestic political loopholes, using Western campaign apparatuses as laundry operations to legitimize illicit capital while buying direct veto power over Western foreign policy decisions.

The internal subversion of American politics directly cripples foreign policy, causing immediate devastation on the global stage. When Western political actors validate fundamentalist rhetoric domestically, they undermine vital international crackdowns on radical networks.

This domestic collusion paralyzed the federal apparatus during critical geopolitical flashpoints. Progressive lawmakers, beholden to their fundamentalist ground operations, actively sabotage sanctions regimes and defund defensive alliances to appease their domestic voting blocs. This legislative betrayal leaves democratic allies entirely vulnerable to asymmetrical warfare, as the domestic cartel prioritizes precinct-level vote tallies over international stability and treaty obligations.

Official documentation from Human Rights Watch on Armed Conflicts exposes the catastrophic reality of unchecked Islamist insurgencies, where fundamentalist networks slaughter civilians, execute local leaders, and enforce total totalitarian control. The American progressive machine routinely downplays or ignores these harsh global realities to avoid fracturing its fragile domestic electoral coalition.

The progressive machine in the United States must face complete political dismantling. A system that trades fundamental liberties for short-term precinct victories acts as an existential threat to constitutional governance. True national security demands the complete severance of this syndicate.

For a deeper look into how these dynamics unfold on the international stage, this Debate on Left-Wing and Islamist Alliances analyzes the broader geopolitical consequences and regional shifts caused by these controversial political frameworks.

The Sneaky Way Corporate America Blacklists Conservatives, and How More of Them Are Fighting Back

FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—More nonprofits are urging the software company Benevity—which hundreds of companies use to allow employees to donate their time and money to charities—to stop systematically blacklisting conservative nonprofits.

Twelve organizations first sent a letter to Benevity in October following the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. The new letter, sent Monday and exclusively provided first to the Daily Signal, will feature three new signatories: Turning Point USA, PragerU, and Focus on the Family.

“Charitable giving programs should empower generosity, not enforce political conformity,” Douglas Napier, executive chairman and CEO of 1792 Exchange, which helped organize the letter, told the Daily Signal in a statement Friday. “Benevity must immediately end its use of Southern Poverty Law Center’s defamatory ‘Hate List’ and ‘Hate Map’ to block mainstream charitable organizations like Turning Point USA and Focus on the Family.”

“1792 Exchange’s research found that hundreds of major corporations rely on Benevity’s platform, making this a critical moment for corporate leadership to reject ideological gatekeeping,” Napier added. “Benevity must completely remove any use of the SPLC filter, adopt a viewpoint-neutral process, and restore full access to the organizations it has unjustly excluded.”

“For far too long, major corporations have been relying on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s nefarious ‘Hate List’ to decide what organizations and charities their employees may give to as part of their corporate giving programs,” Paul Batura, vice president of communications at Focus on the Family, told the Daily Signal. “These entities have been relying on a distorted definition of ‘goodness.’”

“In fact, citing and sourcing the SPLC is the equivalent of a company promising clean water drawing their water from a polluted or toxic aquifer,” Batura added. “It’s our privilege to join the 1792 Exchange’s growing coalition in urging companies to stop making decisions and recommendations based on information from the SPLC.”

Benevity Keeps Using SPLC

The issue gained renewed salience after a federal grand jury handed down 11 criminal charges against the SPLC for allegedly funding the very hate groups it tells donors it exists to “dismantle.”

The Daily Signal reached out to Benevity last month to see if the company would disavow the SPLC in light of the indictment.

“Benevity is not directly affiliated with the SPLC,” the company’s spokesperson told the Daily Signal. “Benevity clients have the option to use the list of nonprofit organizations included on the SPLC’s annual Hate Map to determine nonprofit eligibility within their programs. The use of this option is not a default setting and is at the sole discretion of clients.”

According to its website, Benevity connects “nearly 1,000 enterprise companies” to a network of 513,000 nonprofits after vetting 2.2 million of them. It says it has managed $16 billion in grants and 99 million employee volunteer hours. In 2023, more than 2.3 million people donated through the Benevity platform, representing $3.2 billion.

“Benevity’s denial that it defaults to the SPLC filter is hard to square with its own history,” Greg Scott, executive vice president at 1792 Exchange, told the Daily Signal in response to the Benevity statement.

Benevity’s former CEO, Kelly Schmitt, delivered a PowerPoint presentation in 2021 explicitly stating that the company had “vetted” almost “2 million nonprofits,” adding that it used the “Southern Poverty Law Center Hate List.”

Scott added, however, that “the real issue isn’t how the SPLC filter is used, it’s why this list is used at all.”

Critics have said the SPLC trades on its history of suing Ku Klux Klan groups into bankruptcy to smear conservatives. The center publishes a “hate map” that plots parental rights groups like Moms for Liberty, conservative groups like Turning Point USA, and Christian groups like Focus on the Family alongside chapters of the Klan.

In 2012, a convicted terrorist told the FBI he targeted a conservative Christian nonprofit in Washington, D.C., the Family Research Council, for a mass shooting. Four months after the SPLC added Turning Point USA to the “hate map” last year, Tyler Robinson allegedly murdered Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk, aiming to silence his “hate.”

According to 1792 Exchange, 252 companies using the Benevity platform exclude conservative groups by using the SPLC list as a screening tool.

The Letter

“We, the undersigned organizations, urge Benevity to immediately end the use of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s ‘Hate Map’ and ‘Hate List’ in determining which nonprofits are eligible for corporate charitable giving and employee matching programs,” reads the letter, now signed by 15 groups.

“By relying on these partisan designations, Benevity legitimizes a severely biased blacklist that inspires violence, urges discrimination against mainstream organizations, and undermines the spirit of charitable giving,” the letter adds.

The list of signatories includes Alliance Defending Freedom, the American Family Association, the Center for Christian Virtue, the David Horowitz Freedom Center, Do No Harm, the Family Policy Alliance, the Family Research Council, Focus on the Family, GenSpect, Moms for Liberty, Partners for Ethical Care, PragerU, Turning Point USA, 1792 Exchange, and Them Before Us.

Hate Group SPLC Paid MILLIONS in Donor Money to Violent Extremists, Funds Went to Hoods and Cross Burnings

The Southern Poverty Law Center built its brand on fighting hate groups. Donors gave it more than $100 million a year because they believed the SPLC was destroying the KKK, the neo-Nazis, the Aryan Nations. But… a new federal indictment says the SPLC quietly funneled about $4.1 million in donor money to the super-pale leaders it was publicly attacking. (Doug Ross)

The Justice Department said Tuesday it obtained a superseding indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Center that contained new allegations about how its donations were purportedly used to pay informants inside hate groups.

So it’s worse than previously reported.

Indict these terrorists, IMMEDIATELY revoke their 501c3 status, seize their assets, distribute to their victims.

The most explosive allegations in this indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) are not simply financial irregularities—they amount to accusations of a long-running scheme to secretly funnel donor money to leaders of white supremacist, neo-Nazi, and Ku Klux Klan organizations while publicly fundraising off opposition to those same groups.

Both the national president of the American Front and the Imperial Wizard of the United Klan were allegedly on the SPLC payroll.

The Federalist: the most extraordinary allegation in the superseding indictment filed Tuesday by federal prosecutors against the Southern Poverty Law Center demands a screenshot so you can see it with your own eyes. In the indictment, people labeled with the letter F and a number are members of extremist organizations who were allegedly funded by the SPLC, so F-31 and F-32 are alleged members of the Ku Klux Klan.

Demand for racism in America far exceeds supply so the supply of racism had to be created by Leftists.

Grow Existing Chapters of Extremist Groups.

Create New Chapters of Extremist Groups.

The SPLC and other Leftist groups did this.

This is terrorism.” (C3)

Biggest Allegation: SPLC Secretly Funded Extremist Leaders

The indictment alleges that between roughly 2010 and 2023, SPLC secretly routed approximately $4.1 million in donor funds through a network of allegedly fictitious entities and bank accounts to individuals identified as leaders or members of extremist organizations.

According to the indictment, donor money was allegedly used to:

  • Recruit new members into extremist groups
  • Expand extremist organizations
  • Fund rallies and events
  • Purchase materials for cross burnings
  • Buy materials for KKK robes and hoods
  • Produce racist propaganda
  • Pay the personal living expenses of extremist leaders

The indictment claims donors were told their money would help fight or dismantle extremist groups while portions were allegedly being used to support them.

Alleged Shell Companies and Secret Accounts

The indictment claims SPLC employees created or operated a network of fake entities, including:

  • Center Investigative Agency (CIA)
  • Fox Photography
  • North West Technologies
  • Tech Writers Group
  • Rare Books Warehouse
  • Imagery Ink
  • J&J Electronics
  • Kelly’s Marine
  • Turner Personnel

The indictment explicitly alleges these entities:

“were never incorporated, had no bona fide employees, and conducted no legitimate business.”

Prosecutors allege these accounts were used to conceal payments and move donor money.

Alleged Payments to Extremist Figures

Among the most politically explosive allegations:

F-42 (Former Chairman of the National Alliance)

The indictment alleges SPLC secretly paid him more than $155,000 while simultaneously featuring him on SPLC’s “Extremist File” webpage and soliciting donations to oppose him.

F-37

The indictment alleges SPLC secretly paid him more than $300,000.

The indictment further alleges he participated in leadership activities connected to the movement surrounding the 2017 Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally and that SPLC continued funding him while publicly covering the movement.

F-27

The indictment alleges SPLC secretly paid him more than $350,000 through hidden accounts and pay cards.

F-43

The indictment alleges SPLC secretly paid more than $19,000 to a convicted felon and reported leader of the American Front.

F-18

The indictment alleges SPLC secretly paid a former Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan while simultaneously publishing material condemning his organization.

Alleged Bank Fraud and False Documents

The indictment claims SPLC employees submitted false banking documents identifying employees as sole proprietors of various businesses that allegedly did not actually operate.

Bank records allegedly showed accounts opened under names such as:

  • Center Investigative Agency
  • Fox Photography
  • North West Technologies
  • Tech Writers Group

The indictment states the accounts were later closed after internal bank scrutiny.

Wire Fraud Charges

Counts One through Six charge wire fraud.

The theory is that SPLC allegedly obtained donations through material misrepresentations by telling donors their money would combat extremist groups while secretly diverting funds to individuals associated with those groups.

Money Laundering Charge

Count Eleven alleges Conspiracy to Commit Concealment Money Laundering.

Prosecutors claim SPLC used the shell entities and layered bank transfers to disguise the origin and destination of donor funds.

Asset Forfeiture

The forfeiture section seeks seizure of:

  • Property involved in the alleged offenses
  • Property traceable to the alleged offenses
  • Substitute assets if the original assets cannot be located

Why These Allegations Are So Significant

If proven, the indictment alleges a remarkable contradiction:

  • SPLC publicly raised money by portraying itself as fighting extremist organizations.
  • SPLC allegedly used hidden accounts and shell entities to channel millions of dollars to individuals connected to those same organizations.
  • SPLC allegedly concealed those payments from donors, banks, and regulators.

Those are the core allegations that make this indictment so explosive: wire fraud, money laundering, shell companies, secret payments to extremist leaders, and alleged misuse of donor funds on a multimillion-dollar scale.

IN BED WITH NEO-NAZI: New Indictment Exposes Leftist Group’s Scandalous Relationships With White Nationalists

By: Tyler O’Neil, Daily Signal, June 3, 2026

The Justice Department’s superseding indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Center claims the SPLC paid people to stay in the KKK when they wanted to leave the movement.

The Southern Poverty Law Center allegedly paid at least three people who wanted to leave the white supremacist movement not to do so, according to the Justice Department’s superseding indictment handed down Tuesday.

A federal grand jury in April had indicted the SPLC on charges of wire fraud, bank fraud, and conspiracy to conceal money laundering. The SPLC has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

While the organization “purports to fight white supremacy and racial hatred,” acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a press conference that “the SPLC was not dismantling these groups. It was instead manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose.”

The charges revolve around the SPLC’s program paying “field sources” inside white supremacist groups, such as the Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazi groups. The organization has maintained that it paid these informants in order to alert law enforcement to extremist violence before it happened, and some of the informants’ information did lead to prosecutions.

However, the indictment claims some of the SPLC money actually went to prop up the organizations—and the superseding indictment reveals more details of the allegations.

Where Did the SPLC Money Go?

The superseding indictment alleges that the “field sources” used the money from the Southern Poverty Law Center to grow extremist groups.

Field sources used the money to attend and host “extremist group rallies”; grow and create “new chapters of extremist groups”; recruit new members; donate to extremist group leaders; “purchase materials for cross burnings; purchase materials to make Ku Klux Klan robes and hoods”; and more.

One of the field sources, identified as “F-9,” reportedly had a romantic relationship with an SPLC employee. F-9 infiltrated the neo-Nazi organization National Alliance and received $140,000 from the SPLC. F-9 shared bank accounts with the SPLC employee, who used the cash to pay for the couple’s personal living expenses.

The superseding indictment alleges that the SPLC not only paid white supremacist leaders and members, but actually convinced them to stay in the extremist groups when they tried to leave the movement.

The field source identified as F-30, who led the National Socialist Party of America, was a member of the Ku Klux Klan and led a faction of the Aryan Nations that had chapters in approximately 17 states, reached out to the SPLC while “seeking to get out of the white nationalist movement.”

An SPLC employee “offered F-30 a monthly salary of approximately $2,500.00 in addition to payment of expenses to continue to lead and maintain the violent extremist organization F-30 told the SPLC employee he wanted to leave,” according to the superseding indictment.

The SPLC used the shell company Rare Books to pay F-30 more than $70,000 in donor funds between 2010 and 2016, according to the indictment.

“F-30 used donors’ money to, among other things, travel to extremist rallies, host extremist rallies, donate money to leaders of other extremist organizations, recruit new members into his extremist organization, publish racist and extremist material for the purpose of recruiting new members, … and create racist paraphernalia to sell at rallies to raise money for his extremist organization,” the indictment states. “This was known to certain employees as they continued to secretly funnel donors’ money to F-30.”

Two more “field sources,” identified as F-31 and F-32, were members of a Ku Klux Klan organization who “feared for their safety from other Klan members and wanted out of the movement.” They reached out to the SPLC after seeing news reports about the center helping another person leave an extremist group.

“Despite their requests for help getting out of the movement, an SPLC employee encouraged F-31 and F-32 to stay in the movement and offered to pay them a $1,200.00 monthly salary as well as pay for expenses as incurred,” the indictment recounts. “Once they were financially backed by the SPLC to do so, F-31 and F-32 agreed to remain in the movement.”

The SPLC employee directed these field sources to falsely state they received the money for helping college students write and research essays, the indictment claims. Using this money, F-31 and F-32 “attended extremist group rallies in multiple states,” and the activity led F-31 to rise to “a leadership role within an extremist group.” In that role, “F-31 actively recruited new members using donors’ money.”

“F-32 also participated in recruiting new members using donors’ money,” the indictment adds. “In addition, an SPLC employee knew that F-32 used donors’ money to purchase material to make Ku Klux Klan garments for others.” The SPLC also allegedly reimbursed these field sources for the expenses they incurred for cross-burning events.

Forfeiture

The superseding indictment also includes forfeiture allegations. The document states that, if the SPLC is convicted of the wire fraud or conspiracy counts, it will “forfeit to the United States … property, real or personal, which represents or is traceable to the gross receipts obtained” in violating the law.

SPLC interim CEO Bryan Fair will testify before the House Judiciary Committee next week.

A Whole Lotta People Aren’t Buying Axios’ Report On Trump’s F-Bomb-Laced, Bibi-Bashing Phone Call

Social media users across the political spectrum are casting serious doubts on a new Axios report claiming President Donald Trump cursed out Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Axios reported Monday that Trump “lashed out” at Netanyahu during a phone call concerning Israel’s threat to bomb Beirut, Lebanon, and the Israel Defense Force’s invasion of Southern Lebanon amid a fragile U.S.-Iran ceasefire. One anonymous official, “summarizing” the phone call, claimed Trump told Netanyahu, “You’re fucking crazy. You’d be in prison if it weren’t for me. I’m saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this.” Axios also reported that Trump “reined in” Netanyahu and convinced him to scrap the plans to bomb Beirut and Hezbollah targets.

However, many people aren’t buying it.

Progressive “Breaking Points” host Krystal Ball compared the new Axios story to nearly identical stories leaked during former President Joe Biden’s administration. Biden had reportedly described Netanyahu as a “bad f*cking guy” and an “asshole,” all while his administration continued to green-light U.S. weapons sales to Israel.

Fox News host Mark Levin claimed the story was “largely fabricated” and called for one of its authors, Barak Ravid, to be fired.

Amit Segal, a correspondent for Israel news outlet N12, reported that the Axios story was “inaccurate.”

Independent journalist Caitlin Johnstone accused Ravid of making a “whole career” out of Biden-era leaks suggesting the former president was fed up with Netanyahu or on the verge of making an ultimatum to the Israeli prime minister.

Dave DeCamp, news editor at antiwar.com, pointed to a report that the U.S. had coordinated with Israel in its threat to attack Beirut.

Progressive journalist Mark Ames joked that Trump was “Brandonmaxxing,” a reference to Biden’s nickname coined by conservatives early in his term.

For his part, Trump claimed that he acted as an intermediary between Israel and Hezbollah and prevented further attacks from happening Monday.

“I had a very productive call with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, of Israel, and there will be no Troops going to Beirut, and any Troops that are on their way, have already been turned back,” he said in a Truth Social post. “Likewise, through highly placed Representatives, I had a very good call with Hezbollah, and they agreed that all shooting will stop — That Israel will not attack them, and they will not attack Israel.”

Inside Russia’s Propaganda War In NATO’s Eastern most City

NARVA, Estonia — Residents of Narva, NATO’s easternmost city, gathered along a promenade beneath a medieval Estonian castle May 9. But with their backs turned toward the European Union — Ukrainian and Estonian flags hanging from the fortress walls — the crowd’s attention was fixed across the river border on a bright display of Russian spectacle.

Just 101 meters away, a stage sat below an opposing 15th-century Russian fort in celebration of “Victory Day,” commemorating the Soviet Union’s defeat of Nazi Germany.

As in years past, the stage and loudspeakers were positioned toward the Estonian city, broadcasting cultural performances, a speech by Russian President Vladimir Putin, and additional displays of Russian grandeur. But unlike previous years, the pageantry appeared to capture more of Narva’s attention than ever before.

In his nationally broadcast speech, and moments after describing how past Soviets fought and died to defeat the Nazi threat, Putin said Russian forces are now actively “confronting an aggressive force armed and supported by the entire NATO bloc.”

In response, Maria Smorževskihh-Smirnova, the head of the Narva Museum and its fort, had lowered a large poster along the fortress wall referring to Putin as a war criminal and comparing him to Adolf Hitler. But with most eyes turned toward the stage across the river, the Estonian’s yearly act of rebellion appeared to do little more than earn her a conviction and a 10-year prison sentence from Russia — that is, if Russian authorities can ever get hold of her.

Days after Victory Day, the Daily Caller visited Narva’s Castle, the border, and met with officials in the nation’s Capitol as part of a multiday tour of NATO countries that share a border with Russia. Transportation and lodging for the trip were sponsored by a group of those states.

During the visit, Smirnova told the Caller that Putin’s regime has been using other forms of soft power and messaging since it first attacked Ukraine with the intent of showing that Russian borders can extend well into Estonia.

“Russia’s borders do not end anywhere,” a billboard erected in 2023 said, placed to be the last thing travelers see crossing the border from Russia into Estonia and, therefore, NATO.

The following year, Russian border guards were seen taking boats into the middle of the river and cutting border buoys.

Cautionary actions have since been taken, with border crossings now limited to foot traffic. Yet the Caller found hundreds standing in line to cross the country’s connecting point — the ironically named “Friendship Bridge.”

As one resident told the Caller, “Friendship is on a break.”

Following Estonia’s occupation by the Soviets, many Russians had been relocated into Estonia in an attempt to maintain long-term control over the region and embed Russian culture and way of life into the northernmost Baltic nation, Smirnova told the Caller.

And it appeared to have worked. Narva, the nation’s third-largest city with just over 52,000 people, is currently composed of 96 percent Russian speakers, with one-third of residents being Russian citizens. Another 12.5 percent do not have citizenship and instead are issued “gray passports,” allowing holders to travel between the nations as they please, Smirnova said.

And Narva is not alone. Throughout Estonia, a nation 100 times smaller than Russia, 29 percent of residents speak Russian as a first language, and another 38 percent speak it as a foreign language, Statistics Estonia found.

While communicating among countrymen is key in nation-building, the lack of Estonian speakers may suggest a more serious threat, as Estonia is first and foremost a uniquely “language-based” identity, according to Secretary General for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jonatan Vseviov.

Vseviov, whose department has started to outgrow the now occupied old Communist Party headquarters, with its lobby still decorated in pink Cuban granite, told the Caller that Estonia does not have a strong sense of culture nor a strong claim to religion, blaming in part its history of being held under the thumb of other nations or existing as a collection of “oftentimes disputing villages and counties.”

Now, with fears of being ruled again, Estonia has resorted to taking often drastic measures in an attempt to build up its language-based culture, sometimes at the expense of Russian-speaking Estonians.

Efforts for an Estonian-speaking Estonia began after the Soviet Union collapsed, but perhaps reached their zenith after Russia’s attack on Ukraine. In 2024, all of the nation’s schools were required to begin teaching only in Estonian in kindergarten, first grade, and fourth grade, according to Estonian World.

Since then, multiple cases have been raised before the European Court of Human Rights, as several human rights groups have characterized the policy as a violation of freedom or forced assimilation, according to Eurac Research.

In 2024, a landmark constitutional amendment was passed, removing the ability of Russian and Belarusian residents of Narva to vote in local elections, the Russian media outlet Interfax reported.

The retaliation continued, with a 2025 law requiring that the Estonian Orthodox Church sever its connection with the Moscow Patriarchate, according to Kyiv Independent, in a move that echoes a Ukrainian policy that has been used by Russia to justify their agression.

Although many Estonians justify such actions as an existential necessity for self-preservation, Putin views these policy changes as direct attacks on Russians under his protection.

The Russian Constitution explicitly states that the Kremlin provides “compatriots” — ethnic Russians and Russian speakers — “living abroad in exercising their rights, ensuring the protection of their interests, and preserving their shared Russian cultural identity.”

Putin had previously cited the protection of Donbas compatriots as fuel for his war machine, sending soldiers in their parade uniforms across the Ukrainian border in the name of liberation. However, a diverse array of Ukrainian religious leaders told the Caller in August that Russia has spent the last four years dishing out Soviet-style persecution against the very compatriots they have come to emancipate.

Having watched this tactic play out from afar, many Estonians now fear similar talking points are being raised against their nation to justify more direct displays of power from Moscow, with the largest difference between Ukraine and Estonia being that the smaller of the two is backed by the united power of NATO, under Article 5 of the alliance’s founding treaty.

Despite these tensions, one initiative has decided to embrace Narva’s unique connection to the Russian border by exploring the dynamic between the two nations and the varying nationalities within the city.

In May, international participants at the Narva Art Residency shared works examining nature and borders, with one group introducing 7,000 new female workers into the abandoned Soviet textile factories of the Kreenholm Manufactory in the form of two transnational beehives. T

The residents of this “living monument” now freely commute between the Free World and the Eastern Bloc to produce honey derived from both Estonian and Russian wildflowers, demonstrating that borders, though negotiated and tested, remain only the problem of man.

Here’s What Democrats Chose to Do This Memorial Day Instead of Honoring Our Fallen Heroes

Memorial Day is a special time on the American calendar when we take a moment to think about and pay tribute to those who gave their lives for this wonderful country we call home.

It’s a wonderful and venerated tradition.

But the Left isn’t too interested in that. It has higher priorities.

Whatever it is you decided to do this Memorial Day, it was almost certainly time better spent than what the typical Democrat official was doing over the weekend.

If they just said, “Have a nice day, enjoy the weather,” as former Vice President Kamala Harris did in 2021, it would have been better than what a whole host of them decided to do this year.

This Memorial Day, they didn’t just ignore the occasion; many focused their energy on making cheap partisan talking points, joining mobs on behalf of illegal aliens, and showing how generally disconnected they are from the traditional values of this country.

It was a perfectly Democrat way to kick off the summer.

Let’s have a quick roundup.

The Partisan Cheap Shot at the Expense of Fallen Soldiers

The first and maybe the most egregious example of bad behavior this Memorial Day came from the Democratic National Committee.

“Today, we honor the American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in [President Donald] Trump’s war with Iran,” the official Democrat X account said on Monday.

Using the deaths of these soldiers to take a shot at the president didn’t go over very well on social media. Some commentators called it “repulsive” and “appalling.”

The post was bad enough that one Democrat rightly spoke up. Sen. Tammy Duckworth, a veteran who represents Illinois, chimed in to denounce the post.

“It is incredibly distasteful to use our heroic dead for a political attack on Memorial Day,” she wrote on X. “I’m a Democrat and I condemn this post by the DNC.”

The DNC then deleted the post and added a generic tribute to fallen troops.

Skipping the Parade, Joining the Mob

Instead of honoring Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country, top New Jersey Democrats decided to fight for criminal illegal aliens who’ve broken our laws.

New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill and Sen. Andy Kim, both Democrats, showed up at the Delaney Hall Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Newark on Monday to protest on behalf of those detained there.

They claimed that the illegal aliens being detained had been mistreated and were on a hunger strike. Both these claims have been denied by the Department of Homeland Security. Whatever the accusation, this ended up being more of a riot than a mere protest as the mob tried to block the ICE facility and threw bottles at the employees.

Federal agents eventually deployed pepper spray to disperse the crowd. Sam Stein at the Bulwark threw a completely out-of-context post up on X, saying merely that “ICE pepper sprayed a US Senator today.”

In journalism that’s called burying the lede.

DHS said in a statement that nobody had been struck by the pepper spray balls and that it had been used because “rioters refused to follow law enforcement commands and continue to obstruct the exit route.”

In a video of the incident, Kim appeared to be dissuading the crowd from attacking the facility, but he was jeered and clearly ignored.

ICE later posted a quick roundup of occupants in the Newark detention center.

“Jose De La O Lainez, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, arrested in Plainfield, New Jersey. His criminal history includes homicide.”

“Jhan Martinez-Valverde, a criminal illegal alien from Peru, arrested in Elizabeth, New Jersey. His criminal history includes sex offense against a child.”

“Sergio Marques Abrantes, a criminal illegal alien from Portugal, arrested in Newark, New Jersey. His criminal history includes enticement of a minor for indecent purposes.”

I’ve got an idea. Here me out, New Jersey Democrats.

Instead of rushing to the aid of murderers, rapists, and pedophiles, I have a list of names they may want to consider taking a small moment of their precious time to honor next year.

Here’s a local boy they may want to consider. Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant John Basilone grew up in Raritan, New Jersey, and earned the Medal of Honor for valiant action at the Battle of Guadalcanal when he held off a Japanese attack with his pistol. He saved the lives of many men and continued to serve with distinction through the Pacific War.

Basilone was later killed at the Battle of Iwo Jima.

Just a suggestion for next year.

Grumbling About Military Spending

Among the pettier moments this Memorial Day weekend were the barbs aimed at military displays.

Fake Somali-run “daycares” siphoned off billions of dollars from state and federal treasuries, and it hardly registered a shrug on the Left. But briefly flying a military helicopter over a car race to pay homage to the troops? *Gasp* Waste!

Here’s California Gov. Gavin Newsom telling Secretary of War Pete Hegseth that all we want is “lower gas prices.”

Keep in mind, if the governor cared about the highest-in-nation gas prices in his state, he could have done something about them years ago. Newsom clearly doesn’t mind using astronomical amounts of taxpayer dollars on projects to appease and enrich the state’s social justice warrior class. Or himself.

George Floyd

Finally, we come to another true “hero” Democrats spent time honoring this Memorial Day: George Floyd.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey decided to pay special tribute to Floyd.

We are committed to honoring this place both as a memorial with global significance and as a neighborhood where people live, work, gather, and heal,” Frey said of George Floyd Square. “The work ahead is bigger than any one moment or administration.”

Fox News host Lisa Boothe called it a “disgrace” to honor a “criminal” on Memorial Day.

“Patriotic Americans spend today remembering those heroes of our armed forces who gave their lives in service of this country, not praying at the altar of a felon druggy who died of a fentanyl overdose, you moronic sniveling coward,” radio host Buck Sexton wrote on X.

Here’s Waltz dancing at the George Floyd Square ceremony instead of attending Memorial Day ceremonies.

If there was any doubt about how Democrats and the Left will respond to this year’s 250th anniversary celebrations on the Fourth of July, I’d say this has been an enlightening preview of what’s to come.

The Indictment Beneath the Indictment: SPLC’s Strategy for Silencing Americans

When federal prosecutors finally brought down Al Capone, it wasn’t for murder, extortion, racketeering, or the violence that defined his criminal empire. It was for tax evasion. The charge was real. The conviction was legitimate. But no serious student of history believes tax evasion told the whole story of Capone’s criminal empire. It was simply the charge prosecutors believed they could most readily prove. Today, the Southern Poverty Law Center stands federally indicted on charges involving bank fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering.

Those charges are serious. But for those familiar with the SPLC’s destructive path, the indictment is just the tip of the iceberg of what appears to have been a much broader system of coordinated influence and institutional coercion.

First, I want to commend the FBI and the Department of Justice for their investigation and indictment. I am sure there are some here today who spent time with the FBI during this investigation. I spent considerable time with them explaining SPLC’s work and how their influence in the financial world impacted us as a Christian nonprofit.

With the indictment of SPLC, which has been the Left’s vanguard in their attack on conservative organizations who stood in their way, cowardly corporate figures who kowtowed to SPLC are starting to talk. So, we are learning more.

But there are several realities we need to understand.

Recognizing that traditional hate organizations like the Ku Klux Klan were drying up, the SPLC adjusted its business model by appointing itself as the national arbiter of “hate.” Leveraging its storied reputation from the civil rights era, it expanded its targets far beyond violent extremist groups.

The first reality we need to understand is this: although the indictment focused on SPLC’s money-raising scheme, SPLC’s real focus was its institutional influence on government, media, and corporate America.

Over time, SPLC hate and extremist classifications evolved into far more than media narratives. Their labels increasingly became a form of reputational risk assessment used by banks, payment processors, technology companies, financial compliance systems, law enforcement, media organizations, and even elements of the federal government.

The jewel of the SPLC operation was its Intelligence Project, which became deeply influential as the government, media, and finally financial institutions used their biased data in determining which organizations were viewed as acceptable participants in the financial and digital marketplace.

In November of 2010, the first wave of Christian organizations was placed on the SPLC hate map and hate list, with Family Research Council being among the most prominent.

In August of 2012, a gunman entered our headquarters in DC intending to carry out a mass shooting. He shot our building manager before he was disarmed. He carried 100 rounds of ammunition and 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches, which he intended to stuff into the mouths of his victims. Why FRC? The gunman, Floyd Corkins, later confessed to federal agents that he selected FRC after using the SPLC website and hate map.

That, unfortunately, was not the last shooting related to individuals publicly targeted by SPLC. In 2017, then-Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), and Charlie Kirk last year.

Following the shooting at FRC, we appealed to SPLC to remove organizations like ours because it resulted in an act that was officially deemed domestic terrorism. They did not respond.

It is clear they did not want to remove the labels because of the institutional influence that had grown around them. The ability to silence the left’s opponents.

Around 2016, the SPLC led an ad hoc coalition of left-wing activist groups that began pressuring technology companies and financial institutions to deplatform and defund conservative organizations. PayPal was among the early targets, although its initial success was limited.

Then came Charlottesville.

Charlottesville was a catalytic event that rapidly accelerated SPLC’s efforts. It was a game-changer for them in terms of their efforts to bully corporations.

With that in mind, let me insert information directly from the federal indictment, which identified one of the many extremist group members allegedly funded by the SPLC: the individual identified as F-37. According to the indictment:

“A member of the online leadership of the chat group that planned [PLANNED] the 2017 ‘Unite the Right’ event in Charlottesville, Virginia, and attended the event at the direction of the SPLC. F-37 made racist postings under the supervision of the SPLC and helped coordinate transportation to the event for several attendees. Between 2015 and 2023, the SPLC secretly paid F-37 more than $270,000.”

Following Charlottesville, major corporations publicly aligned themselves with the SPLC. Apple donated $1 million. JPMorgan Chase and others followed.

Was Charlottesville designed to be a catalytic event to further SPLC’s efforts to move reluctant corporations?

Post Charlottesville in August of 2017, the ad hoc coalition formally organized into what became known as Change the Terms, led by the SPLC and the Center for American Progress.

The timeline of Change the Terms closely parallels the rapid acceleration of debanking and deplatforming directed at conservative and Christian organizations. BB&T, now Truist, notified us that, in accordance with our services agreement, they can, “at any time, close an account at our discretion.”

It’s a bit ironic that SPLC’s bank let them operate known fraudulent accounts for over a decade, according to the indictment.

Change the Terms sought to establish standards for technology and financial companies that would deny digital access and funding mechanisms to organizations deemed extremist by the SPLC’s definition.

SPLC officials were explicit about this strategy.

In congressional testimony delivered on January 15, 2020, SPLC official Lecia Brooks stated:

“For decades, the SPLC has been fighting hate and exposing how hate groups use the internet. We have lobbied internet companies, one by one, to comply with their own rules to prohibit their services from being used to foster hate or discrimination. A key part of this strategy has been to target these organizations’ funding.”

Brooks continued:

“On Oct. 25, 2018, the Change the Terms coalition, including the SPLC and other civil rights groups, released a suite of recommended policies for technology companies that would take away the online microphone that hate groups use to recruit members, raise funds and organize violence. In response to Change the Terms’ advocacy, several Silicon Valley leaders have made promising changes that align with the coalition’s vision for a safer online world.”

But Brooks went further, openly describing the pressure campaign:

“The public exposure was half the battle. We conducted the other part of the campaign privately. SPLC officials held dozens of meetings with top Silicon Valley executives. Some companies acted. Some took half steps. Others did little or nothing. But eventually, the far-right extremists who depended on Silicon Valley were beginning to feel the pain.”

What SPLC appears to have done, according to reports, is bully the cowardly corporations, leveraging their political connections, including regulators.

And finally, she said:

“Hate groups have clearly been damaged by the efforts of the SPLC and its allied organizations, including the Change the Terms coalition, to fight them and their funding sources online. But the fight is far from over.”

The fight is far from over.

This brings me to the second reality.

The indictment paints a picture that SPLC was propping up some of the very extremist entities it publicly claimed to be dismantling.

And the indictment makes clear these were not undercover informants or “snitches,” as we used to call them when I was a police officer. In some cases, these were individuals allegedly running or helping run operations.

The evidence appears to suggest that these extremist organizations served a larger purpose: providing potent imagery that immediately marginalized legitimate conservative and Christian organizations that were listed alongside these groups.

We need to be clear: this was not about SPLC’s financial survival.

For anyone tempted to feel sorry for the SPLC and start a GoFundMe account for its legal defense, SPLC’s 2024 audited financial statement shows an endowment fund of approximately $734 million.

Nor should anyone assume this indictment marks the end of the SPLC. They have more lives and tentacles than the Iranian regime.

While many financial institutions that partnered with or relied upon SPLC classifications beginning around 2017 have begun distancing themselves from the organization, the SPLC still maintains enormous institutional reach.

Its school-based program, Learning for Justice, formerly Teaching Tolerance, still reportedly reaches roughly 500,000 educators. Every public school system in America should be asked whether SPLC curriculum materials are being used in their schools.

SPLC’s public labeling system became far more than a public list. Whether by design or evolution, it functioned as a strategic weapon against conservatives who stood in the way of the Left’s agenda. Behind it, SPLC designations were increasingly used by media organizations to marginalize or exclude targeted individuals and groups, while also influencing banking access, digital platforms, fundraising capacity, and overall public legitimacy.

The indictment may focus on bank fraud and wire fraud. But like Al Capone’s tax evasion case, there is much beneath the surface: a sophisticated system of influence designed not merely to oppose ideas, but to marginalize and economically punish those who hold them.

These entities that collaborated with SPLC and did real harm to individuals and organizations should be held accountable as well.

And if America is to remain a nation where freedom of speech, religious liberty, and political dissent truly survive, then the broader conspiracy facilitated and directed by the SPLC must be confronted, exposed, and, where illegal conduct occurred, those responsible held accountable. Just as importantly, safeguards must be established to ensure such a system is never allowed to operate again.
