VIDEO: Donald Trump and ‘The Vicious Snake’

Donald Trump began reciting the lyrics to a Al Wilson song from 1968 entitled “The Snake” at a rally in Iowa, which was reported on by Ali Vitali from NBC News. Many understood that this song related to the influx of Muslim migrants into Europe and the United States. To tell you more would be to give away the below video that is now going viral.

Rust e,  the creator of the video inspired by Trump’s remarks, asks viewers, “Do not allow the Islamification currently happening in Europe to reach America. Act now before its too late.”

VIDEO: Understanding the Muslim Migration and Sharia

There is a mass migration from Islamic lands to Kafir lands. It is the mission of Islam to bring the Sharia into power, everywhere. There is an ethical divide between Islam and the hated Kafir civilization. It is the purpose of Sharia to dominate the Kafir civilization.

As Muslims immigrate, they immediately make Sharia demands. These demands are endless in details, but the process can take generations. We can see the centuries long transformation in the Middle East and Turkey which used to be Christian.

This does not mean that every Muslim takes part in the politics of Sharia, since only a few Islamic leaders are needed. The reason that Islam can win every attempt to advance Sharia is that Kafirs are tolerant of all demands and do not push back. So if our attitudes do not change, Kafir nations will become Sharia nations.

ONLINE POLL: Catholics have our own vote going on

VOTE HERE

TRANSCRIPT

Last week we asked you to send in the names of Catholics you think have had the most positive influence on the spiritual lives of Catholics in the past 50 or hundred years or so. We had a thousand submissions and dozens and dozens of names — close to a hundred, in fact.

So we combed through all of them, keeping close tally, and here is the final list of the top 20 from your submissions you now go to vote on. All you have to do is click on the link and vote for the single person you feel has had the greatest impact for good on the spiritual lives of Catholics, like we said, in the past 50 to 100 years.

So here, in no particular order are those on the list:

  • Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who spent most of her life working with and caring for the destitute in India.
  • Saint Faustina, the visionary to whom Our Blessed Lord appeared in Poland and revealed the treasure of the Divine Mercy.
  • Saint Maximilian Kolbe, who gave up his life in exchange for a fellow prisoner in Auschwitz.
  • Mother Angelica, the feisty religious sister who began EWTN and set the tone for media-minded Catholics to hold bishops accountable while catechizing bombastically.
  • Saint Padre Pio, the mystic who suffered for 50 years and experienced intense spiritual combat on behalf of souls.
  • Pope St. Pius X, the first of the pontiffs to face the heresy of Modernism head on and prophetically warn the world’s bishops of its dangers.
  • Bishop Athanasius Schneider, who travels the world to fight the errors of modernism and restore a proper understanding of the Eucharist.
  • Venerable Pope Pius XII, who has been maligned despite his efforts to save hundreds of thousands of Jews from Nazi extermination.
  • Venerable Abp. Fulton Sheen, who used his charisma and intelligence in television in the 1950s to showcase Catholicism to the United States.
  • Cardinal Robert Sarah, who has fought ferociously from his curial post in Rome to defend orthodoxy against the onslaught of Modernism.
  • Saint Josemaria Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei, who dedicated his life to advancing the idea of sanctifying the world through the presence of committed laity.
  • Pope St. John Paul II, who brought the majesty of Catholic truth to a worldwide audience through the media during his nearly 30-year reign.
  • Pope Benedict XVI, the right hand man of Pope John Paul for 25 years, who served as watchdog of the Faith, and as Pope restored the wider use of the Traditional Latin Mass.
  • Father John Corapi, whose preaching style and orthodox message resonated with hundreds of thousands of Catholics in the earlier days on EWTN.
  • Cardinal Raymond Burke, the former prefect of the Apostolic Signatura in Rome, whose heroic and tireless efforts at battling dissent have brought international praise and admiration.
  • Servant of God Fr. John Hardon, who dedicated his life to catechetical instruction in his Marian Catechist Program and dozens of books.
  • G.K. Chesterton, the author whose wit and simple explanations of theological truths and social/cultural trends brought many converts to the Catholic faith.
  • Cardinal Francis Arinze, the most prominent African prelate in living memory who strenuously defends the liturgy and fights against liturgical abuses.
  • Dr. Scott Hahn, the notable Presbyterian convert and current scholar, whose personal story became a springboard for many protestants to convert to Catholicism.
  • And the von Hildebrands — Dietrich and Alice — who dedicated their lives to teaching and instructing thousands of people through education and writing.

So there you have it — twenty of the most notable Catholics of the last hundred years selected by you to now be voted on.

We would be remiss if we didn’t say some wonderful Catholic examples didn’t crack the top vote-getters, but do deserve honorable mention: San Francsico archbishop Salvatore Cordileone; Fr. Patrick Peyton, the Rosary Crusade priest; Capuchin Friar Ven. Solanus Casey from right here in Detroit; Bd. Pope Paul VI, who suffered greatly but preserved Church teaching in the face of tremendous opposition; Pope Leo XIII, who confronted the evil of socialism, and so on.

We Catholics are spoiled for choice when it comes to those giants whose shoulders we stand on. And spoiled for choice we are in this poll.

Who do you think is the single most notable Catholic on that list of 20, who you think has had the greatest impact for good on the Faith? Vote for just one (and we know, it is very tough).

Vote for one, and in Friday’s “Vortex,” we will bring you final results. Pass this “Vortex” to your friends and family and tell them to vote. Who do you think is the single most significant Catholic on this list, your list? And remember — you can only vote for one. We’ll keep voting open until noon EST on Thursday, and we’ll have the results for you on Friday.

It’s good to reflect and discuss and think about these kinds of things. Too often we have horrible examples in the Church of scandalous leaders and dissidents. Pondering over a list like this reminds us that Our Blessed Lord is always raising up saints and wonderful examples to inspire and help us lead holy lives.

Also for some quick reminders about upcoming events at ChurchMilitant.com, we’re hosting our fourth annual Retreat at Sea coming up on April 2, leaving from Los Angeles, California, and I’ll be doing a conference Saturday March 12 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Blessed be GOD.  Now get thinking and voting.

VIDEO: We should all be thankful that God is not fair

We’ve all heard a million times: Life’s not fair. The first time we probably heard it was when we got punished for something by our parents.  Suddenly the realization dawned on us that until we left their house, life was never going to be “fair.”

Well, here’s a meditation to think on for Lent: God is not fair — not in the slightest bit fair — and thank God for it.

That, of course, is Mother Miriam. We’ve kind of adopted her as our Church Militant mom since she was up here in the summer, where we shot some interviews with her where she was our guest for a few days.

At Church Militant, we love bringing you these interviews with various notables in the Church — clerics, prelates, theologians, religious — each one in love with Our Lord’s Holy Catholic Church. The reason is pretty obvious: With all the confusion (and confusion is the watchword in the Church these days), you need to hear voices of clarity — Catholic clarity, with no ambiguity — not the slightest hint of doubt or wavering or ambiguity. One of the glories of the Church is Her brilliant clarity. It’s one of the shining jewels She wears.

But we know there are various people in the Church who revel in vagueness, who love the confusion because of the damage it causes. They want to refashion the Faith, the Church. They want to recreate Her in their own image. People like Mother Miriam and many others — we’d like to include ourselves in that number and all of you — are not going to let that happen.

In these first few weeks of 2016, Church Militant has brought or will shortly be bringing you interviews with Dr. Alice von Hildebrand, Bp. Rene Gracida, Dr. Charles Rice, of course Mother Miriam, Bp. Athanasius Schneider, Bp. Anthony Borwah and others to be announced later. We need to hear from people like this — dedicated committed Catholics.

One of the results of the confusion and Modernism almost omnipresent in the Church these days is the feeling of isolation it can bring for so many. As the Faith dwindles more and more owing to the confusion, more and more people feel deserted or left alone, thinking or wondering if they are the crazy ones for believing what the Church teaches because everyone keeps telling them that.

You are not crazy, and you are not alone.

These great minds we get to interview — minds imbued with wisdom and insight — should convince you that you are not alone, and certainly not crazy. They know in the end that whatever happens, the Church is right, and that is our great hope.

Please click the link to watch our second full interview with Mother Miriam on the crisis in the Church.

And keep in mind we offer a 15-day free trial for those of you who do not yet have your Premium accounts. Sign up now and you have over two weeks to watch the two interviews we currently have of Mother Miriam, plus hundreds of hours of other programs. We’ve spent over 10 years building this vast Catholic video archive, so please take full advantage of it.

More and more leading Catholics are making their way to our studios to share their thoughts on the crisis in the Church and help strengthen you. Please, listen to them.

In an effort to rescue “social justice” from this fate and to clarify its true meaning, Templeton Prize winner Michael Novak, and Paul Adams, Professor Emeritus of social work at the University of Hawaii, have co-authored an impressive book, Social Justice Isn’t What You Think It Is.

The authors contend that “social justice,” rightly understood, is not a state of public affairs but personal virtue. To explain that premise and “to seek out a fresh statement of the definition of social justice – one that is true to the original understanding, ideologically neutral among political and economic partisans, and applicable to the circumstances of today,” the book is divided into two parts.

VIDEO: What caused the religious orders to fall apart?

TRANSCRIPT

Ninety percent fewer seminarians; 35 percent fewer priests, and many are old; 92 percent fewer religious brothers; 90 percent fewer nuns and sisters — all in the space of just 50 years.

The drop in the numbers of men and women willing to give their lives for the Church has been beyond dramatic. Certainly, it isn’t news that there are enormously fewer numbers of priests, sisters and brothers than in days gone by, but what needs to be understood is why this happened.

It isn’t enough to just make it a simple, overly broad answer like “Vatican II caused it.” To whatever degree, the Second Vatican Council is involved, it only provided the means. It wasn’t gradual; it was a spiritual meteorite that hit the Church in the late 1960s. What we are feeling today is the lingering effect of it.

If the Church is going to rebuild Herself, we need to ensure that the same mistakes are not repeated. Facts have to be faced and examined objectively. Something was already present in the Church before Vatican II that allowed for the implosion of the Faith.Never forget that every bishop at Vatican II who signed the documents had been born, baptized, confirmed and ordained in the Old Rite. So the notion that the Old Rite — meaning the Traditional Latin Mass — is a cure-all is not well thought out.

The Church imploded when the TLM was the normal, usual routine. Something was already stirring in the souls of many laity and religious prior to the Council. Mass attendance before the Council was already on the way down before the Council, across the West. Obviously, it got a lot worse after Vatican II, but the dynamite was already laid.

The state of the Church in those days running up to the Council may very well have been a case of a mile wide and inch deep, in other words, the termites had already been at work for some time, so when the strong wind blew, it didn’t take much to bring the whole house down.

The same was true of religious orders at the time. They were burgeoning, busting at the seams. How did the convents and monasteries empty out so fast? Remember, it was not just the case that people stopped coming. It was the case that people stopped coming secondarily. The primary disaster was that the already professed left in droves.

So what was wrong just below the surface with all these vocations? That many would not ever come, while sad, is not shocking. What is shocking is those that had already dedicated themselves to the religious life, made vows, took oaths and so forth — that these would just chuck their vows aside.

And more to the point, as the Church tries to resurrect from this implosion, we need to be certain that we aren’t laying the groundwork for the same thing to happen again, if not at this moment, then somewhere shortly down the road.

All of this is the topic for this week’s “Mic’d Up,” a fantastic discussion about the collapse and resurrection of the religious orders.

WATCH NOW

What is needed in any vocation is love for the Faith. And it has to surpass the love of evil that enemies of the Church have. The zeal for evil among Planned Parenthood supporters, for example, is enviable. The degree of constancy and conviction that those dedicated to the destruction of the Faith have is astounding.

Venerable Bp. Sheen used to say: “The Communists have all zeal and no truth, and we Catholics have all truth and no zeal.” The religious orders ultimately fell apart because they fell out of love with Our Lord and His Holy Catholic Church. When the opportunity presented itself, and there became a choice between Our Lord and His Holy Bride, they looked at each and chose the lesser.

That can happen to any one of us, religiously professed or lay person. People have to love; their relationship with truth, with the Faith, must be enhanced and advanced daily. They must have a sense of mission; we must have a sense of mission.

The problem facing the Church today is that the sense of mission has been reduced to a watered-down emotionalism where the mission is your feelings. That’s not mission; that’s ego. We must be in love with Our Lord in His Church — not some in love with some imaginary feeling of being in love.

Love compels greatness; it compels sacrifice; it compels a vocation.

As an early “religious” once said, “If I have not love, I am a noisy gong and clanging symbol” (1 Cor. 13:1).

VIDEO: Canadian Imam greets Syrians with prayer: ‘O Allah, destroy the enemies of Islam’

“WATCH — Syrian refugees in Alberta welcomed with prayer: ‘Destroy enemies of Islam,” by Jonathan D. Halevi, The Rebel, February 13, 2016:

(This video and article originally appeared at CIJNews.com and is reprinted with permission.)

On February 5, 2016, the Alberta Islamic Welfare Association hosted a Family Day event for Syrian refugees and their families, along with members of the local Muslim community in Edmonton and the Imam Shaban Sherif Mady.

In his speech to the Syrian refugees, Shaban Sherif Mady greeted them, emphasized the merits of the people of Greater Syria in the eyes of Allah for defeating the Crusaders and the Tatars, and ended with a supplication to Allah.

The following is an excerpt of the supplication (originally in Arabic):

“O Allah! Strengthen the mujahideen [jihad fighters in the path of Allah] everywhere, make their hearts firm and strong, let them hit their targets, give them victory over their enemies.

“O Allah! Destroy the oppressors.

“O Allah! Destroy your enemies, the enemies of religion [Islam].

“O Allah! Whoever wishes good for Islam and the Muslims, bestow all goodness upon him.

“O Allah! Whoever wishes ill for us and wishes ill for Islam and the Muslims, make his plot [tied] around his neck and make him preoccupied with himself, and make his plan cause his own destruction.”…

VIDEO: Walmart Refuses To Make Cake with Confederate Flag But Makes Islamic State Cake

According to recent reports, a Walmart in Slidell, Louisiana just crossed a major line.

One local resident walked into the super store with hopes of getting a cake with a Confederate flag decoration on top. Walmart refused to make the cake.

Now, we are aware that the Confederate flag is controversial, but its not illegal. Southerners have stood behind the historical symbol as one of Southern Pride. Of course, liberals have tried to twist this into a racist symbol.

Now, Walmart may have been taking a stand, but Chuck Netzhammer wanted to see just how far the store would go to defend their beliefs. So the very next day, he went back and ordered a cake with an ISIS cake on it.

To his dismay, Walmart obliged.

“Alright, Walmart, you’ve got some explaining to do,” Netzhammer said in a video he posted to YouTube, which has since gone viral.

Watch it below and tell us what you think.

VIDEO: The Supreme Court Pause of EPA’s Carbon Regulations Explained

Why did the Supreme Court pause EPA’s Clean Power Plan?

The Supreme Court granted a stay of EPA’s carbon regulations—the Clean Power Plan.

The Wall Street Journal editorial board called it an “important rebuke to the political method of the anticarbon activists in the EPA and White House.”

Ditching fossils fuels will be a capital-intensive and generation-long transition, to the extent it is possible, and states must submit compliance plans as soon as this September that are supposed to last through 2030, or be subject to a federal takeover.

The legal challenges will take years, but the EPA hopes to engineer a fait accompli by bullrushing the states into making permanent revisions immediately. Once the Clean Power Plan starts, it becomes self-executing. If the EPA loses down the road, it will laugh that the opinion is too late and thus pointless.

[ … ]

The stay suggests that a majority of the Court won’t allow this deliberate gaming of the slow pace of the legal process to become de facto immunity for anything the EPA favors. It’s especially notable because courts tend to be highly deferential to executive regulation.

What exactly did the court do?

Why did the court do this?

And why have states, businesses, labor unions, and trade associations–including the U.S. Chamber—welcomed this decision as they fight EPA’s regulatory overreach?

I spoke with Heath Knakmuhs, senior director of policy at the Institute for 21st Century Energy to get some answers.

And to understand the international implications of the Supreme Court’s stay, read Stephen Eule’s piece.

VIDEO: Terrorists to Register 1 Million U.S. Muslim Voters

Nihad Awad, Executive Director of the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR), calls for Muslims to use their mosques for Voter Registration and Polling Stations with the aim of registering 1,000,000 Muslim Voters!

According to the Investigative Project on Terrorism:

Nihad Awad is among the founders of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and serves as its executive director. In that role, he has attained a degree of political clout, invited to stand beside President George W. Bush at the Islamic Center of Washington days after the 9/11 attacks. Before that, Vice President Al Gore appointed Awad to a civil rights advisory panel for the White House Commission on Aviation Safety and Security.

These are influential recognitions for a man with past ties to Hamas, designated a foreign terrorist organization by the United States in 1995. In fact, Awad publicly declared “I am in support of the Hamas movement,” during a March 1994 symposium at Barry University.

The aim of CAIR is to CHANGE the way AMERICA looks.
