Border Crisis: Ten Percent for the Big Guy?

Big border news today.  Joe Biden announced a new approach to the crisis at the southern border.  Admission for some migrants from Haiti, Cuba, and Nicaragua will be expanded while a return-to-Mexico policy will apply to others.  The return-to-Mexico policy is the part Biden likes to talk up.  But the humanitarian parole program being used to expand entry has already been challenged in court by Florida.

So here’s what can happen: the administration builds acceptance for the idea of expanded parole, then stops returning people to Mexico.  Why am I skeptical Biden really wants to do anything to curb illegal immigration?  Because the administration has already instituted three dozen policy changes opening the border – changes I’ve documented in previous commentaries – and a leopard doesn’t change its spots, that’s why.  The new approach is a way to look tough while maneuvering to open the border further.  That’s the way it looks to me.

Now let’s go back to what I had planned for today:  who’s profiting from the record illegal immigration Biden has brought about and what influence do they have on policy?  Let’s follow the money and see where it leads.

Without question, the Mexican drug cartels are profiting handsomely from Joe Biden’s open borders policies, through drug distribution, sex trafficking, and demanding migrants pay up to cross the border.

The cartels are not the only ones with a racket going.  The shelter and resettlement contractors get hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to process, transport, house, and administer social services to illegal aliens.  Catholic Charities is one such contractor, but an investigation found 30 more engaged in a mass resettlement operation in collusion with the Biden administration.  The contractors were active in the 2014 border surge under Obama.  An interesting phenomenon then was government officials leaving their posts to get paid big bucks to run the contractors.  The new wrinkle now is that the contractors appear to be crossing the line and instigating more new arrivals so they will have more business.  Texas Governor Greg Abbott has called for an investigation into reports these organizations are actually assisting with illegal border crossings.  How would you like to be some poor woman from Guatemala, get raped on the way up here, and learn that your purpose in life is to make more money for Catholic Charities?

Another pot of money comes from left-wing advocacy groups.  The local sheriff in Arlington County Virginia said she would stop turning illegal alien detainees over to ICE after attending an event put on by pro-immigration groups.  I pulled on the thread of one of these groups a little, and found they have millions of dollars of annual income at their disposal.  The 2019 tax form 990 for Legal Aid Justice showed some of the money came from the Fairfax County Virginia government and lots came from other left-wing groups (Schedule B – p. 2).  Left-wing advocacy groups are drowning in money and some of it is going toward opening the border.  A 2019 book named George Soros, the Koch brothers, Jack Dorsey, Tim Cook, Mark Zuckerberg, and others as among those putting money into this effort.

Could the Biden crime family have found ways to get in on the action?  The answer appears to be yes.  Hunter Biden owned an 8 percent stake in ePlata, a mobile banking platform for illegal aliens.  The Hunter Biden laptop shows he profited from the arrangement and introduced ePlata’s founder to Joe Biden.  More illegal aliens, more mobile banking profits, more dividends for Hunter, and 10 percent for the Big Guy Joe Biden – that’s certainly plausible, unless someone can show me otherwise.

A bribery scandal in Europe suggests things could be worse in America than we currently know.  The scandal involves one-and-a-half million Euros in bribe money from Qatar and Morocco.  The investigation has reached into the European Parliament and the European Commission.  In 2017, a former commissioner then in charge of immigration called for the admission of six million more migrants into European countries.  He is now being investigated in the bribery scandal.  A former Parliament vice-president, also involved in the scandal, is actually awaiting trial on bribery charges.

I heard some years ago from someone in a position to know that government officials in Washington were taking money to look the other way on illegal immigration.  I don’t have proof the Bidens or anyone else in Washington is on the take on this issue.  But I do have a lot of questions.  The point for today is, when you hear open borders crazies talk about the poor, pitiful migrants, don’t take it at face value.  Follow the money.  Who’s getting paid and how much?

J6: What we knew then, and what we know now

We take a lot of heat for what we do at the Center for Security Policy, but our eyewitness account of the violence at the U.S. Capitol two years ago provoked an especially intense response.

The Center’s report concluded that a handful of agents-provocateurs executed the violence, which was planned and coordinated in advance, and exacerbated by a lack of intelligence, poor discipline, and poor leadership from Capitol Police. We also directly confronted the false narrative of “thousands of armed insurrectionists.”

How does our first-person report, written by our senior analyst for strategy hours after the event took place hold up after two years of criminal investigations, congressional hearings, and media reports?

The Federalist reprinted the report the day after we posted it. Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) read portions into the record at the first Senate investigative hearing.

Senator Amy Klobuchar, co-chairman of the Senate panel investigating the violence, called our report and Johnson’s questions “disinformation.” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer foamed that it was “mindless garbage.” CNN slammed our evidence as a baseless conspiracy theory.

Not the first time the willingness of the Center to call it as we saw it has provoked hysterics among those pushing false narratives.

But Johnson asked a senior FBI official if our analysis made sense and FBI Assistant Director Jill Sanborn surprised Johnson by confirming Center’s report “absolutely” reflected what the Bureau had found. There were no tens of thousands of armed insurrectionists. There were a small number of provocateurs.

The report also told of suspected fake anti-Trump militants, but we didn’t suspect the FBI.

Then, some of those arrested and charged with leading the violence were identified as FBI informants and assets. When others posted videos of an apparent provocateur named Ray Epps goading people to attack the Capitol and leading the first confrontation at the outer security perimeter, the Center pushed for answers.

The break came when Sanborn, recently promoted to Executive Assistant Director of the FBI’s National Security Branch, was again scheduled to testify at a January, 2022 Judiciary Committee hearing. We worked with Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) to shape questions that would get to the bottom of the allegations.

Cruz asked Sanborn directly: “Did any FBI agents of confidential informants actively participate in the events of January 6th? Yes or no?”

Sanborn: “I can’t answer that.”

Cruz kept pressing hard. A simple “no” would have ended the matter. In the 3-1/2 minutes of questioning, the FBI official would not budge.

The FBI never provided senators with an answer afterward. And the Bureau has obfuscated ever since. Cruz’s questions – and the FBI’s reaction – changed the terms of debate about who was behind the violence at the U.S. Capitol.

The evidence now suggests that the FBI knew about the prospect for violence well in advance but did not inform the U.S. Capitol Police or the Secret Service, which was at the Capitol on January 6 to provide security for Vice President Mike Pence.

And at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, the FBI official in the best position to know refused to answer if the FBI itself was involved in “criminal acts of violence” at the Capitol on J6.

EXCLUSIVE: Agent Shot Near Border Days Ahead Of Biden’s Visit

A Border Patrol agent was shot near Lordsburg, New Mexico, along a local highway ahead of President Joe Biden’s expected trip to the southern border, National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd told the Daily Caller News Foundation Thursday.

“Border Patrol agents made a vehicle stop. In the course of the vehicle stop a suspect shot a Border Patrol agent in the chest and I believe also in the arm,” Judd said, adding that the bullet didn’t penetrate the agent’s protective vest.

“The vehicle then fled and a pursuit took place where it’s my understanding that the vehicle then crashed and rolled with the suspect fleeing,” Judd continued.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) confirmed the incident occurred in a subsequent statement to the DCNF, where the agency said the agent had been shot “multiple” times in the chest.

“The agent was able to return fire as the suspect’s vehicle sped away. Ultimately, the fleeing vehicle was involved in a rolled over accident a few miles down the road and agents took six persons into custody. Two occupants required additional medical attention and were flown to a trauma center in El Paso, Texas,” CBP said.

The agent who was shot was medically evaluated and released. The FBI, the Office of Professional Responsibility and the New Mexico State Police are conducting probes into the incident, according to CBP.

Agents later apprehended the suspect, who Judd said may have been a smuggler.

Biden is set to visit El Paso, Texas, which is in the same sector as Lordsburg, in the coming days. Border Patrol agents have recently seen a record surge in illegal immigration, with more than 2.3 million migrants encountered by CBP in fiscal year 2022.

Biden said Wednesday that he wanted to travel there to see “peace and security” and to “see what’s going on.” The president last visited the border in 2008, when he drove by the area, former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in 2021.

The Pentagon’s Pronoun Wars

Our woke military brass don’t know how to win wars, but know their pronouns.

In 2020, the Air Force conducted a classified war game which showed Communist China launching a biological attack and then invading Taiwan.

And we lost.

“At that point the trend in our war games was not just that we were losing, but we were losing faster,” Air Force Lt. Gen. S. Clinton Hinote stated.

With abysmal readiness rates that have an average of only 7 out of 10 planes operational, and down to 50% for the F-22 stealth fighter, 50% for the CV-22 Osprey and 40% for the B-1 Lancer, the Air Force isn’t even trying to win a possible war, but it’s fighting one for pronouns.

Gina Ortiz Jones, a two-time losing congressional candidate who wasted millions before being appointed by Biden as Air Force Undersecretary, declared that adding pronouns to the emails of air force personnel will make them “a more inclusive force”.

”An inclusive force is a mission-ready force,” she contended, all evidence to the contrary.

This proposal was cheered by Lt. Col. Bree (Bryan) Fram, LIT Transgender Policy Team co-lead. He describes himself as a “Rocket Scientist, Author, Advocate, Nerd”. Warrior does not make the list. But he was in attendance when Biden signed the Disrespect for Marriage Act, abolishing religious freedom and marriage.

“The use of correct pronouns is an easy way to show care and respect,” Mr. Fram insisted.

It’s a short hop from pronouns being voluntary to becoming mandatory.

Pacific Air Forces went further by warning its personnel not to use “he/she” pronouns. The Air Force Academy, always in the vanguard of wokeness, told cadets to stop referencing “mom and dad”, and to ask people for their gender identity. This was described as a “warfighting imperative”.

The Navy, like the Army, has jettisoned the use of ‘ma’am’ or ‘sir’ for drill instructors.

Earlier this year, the Navy released a video teaching personnel to use proper gender pronouns. An editorial at the Naval Institute complained about the use of such terms as “manpower, manning, man overboard, man the rails, sideboy, man hours”.

The authors even urged replacing “man overboard” with “shipmate overboard.”

Now when a man falls overboard, there will have to be a debate about gendered language and what he identifies with before he can be rescued. And by then he’ll probably have drowned.

The Navy’s Special Ops creed changed its wording from  “elite brotherhood of sailors” to “elite group of maritime warriors”. SEALs no longer mention “brave men who have fought and died building the proud tradition and feared reputation that I am bound to uphold.”

Nor do they say, “I am that man.”

There are no female operators because none have met the standards. But it’s only a matter of time until those standards are lowered.

Chris Beck, the retired Navy SEAL who became the poster boy for the transgender movement when he spent a decade claiming to be a woman, has returned to his senses, and calls it the “worst mistake of my life.”

Beck describes getting a prescription for hormones after a brief consultation at the VA.

“I got propagandized. I got used badly by a lot of people who had knowledge way beyond me,” he admitted. “They knew what they were doing. I didn’t.”

The VA, whose delays are still killing veterans, offers a special field for gender identity and a list of pronouns for “nonbinaries” that include xe/xem. Earlier this year, House Democrats blocked an effort to expose VA delays in veteran care. Some VA facilities still have delays that drag on for months, but pronouns remain a leading priority. Patient care takes a back seat to wokeness.

As it does across the military in the Obama and Biden eras.

Military policy demands that personnel “should be sensitive to the use of pronouns when addressing others.” There is no expectation that the men who wake up one morning and decide that they’re women should stop putting their fetishes and neuroses ahead of the mission.

The United States is following in the footsteps of the Canadian Armed Forces which mandates the use of gender neutral pronouns and the British Ministry of Defence which orders officials to state their gender pronouns.

“Pronouns aren’t just used inside the 2SLGBTQI+ communities but are used by everyone,” Canada’s Department of National Defence states.

The only people who use pronouns are ordered to use them by their employer or institution. With control of the military, the Trudeau regime and other woke governments have a sizable class of personnel that, to their endless delight, they can order to do anything they want.

Western nations can’t think of any better use for their militaries than performative dogma.

NATO has a 38-page manual on “gendered language” which emphasizes that it is “important to distinguish between grammatical gender and gender as a social construct.” What would have been an obscure dilettante academic’s thesis in the 80s are now military marching orders.

During the Cold War, NATO focused on tactics and strategy while the Russians wrote papers on Marxism-Leninism. Now NATO is stuffed with personnel writing papers on cultural Marxism.

We no longer have a serious military leadership and so we’re not ready for a serious war.

But that’s because our ideologically captured institutions have no interest in fighting one. If China invades Taiwan, South Korea or Hawaii, they’ll issue a strong statement, supply some weapons to the remaining defenders and go back to emphasizing pronoun discipline.

These are the preoccupations of ideologically captured institutions which are not interested in winning military conflicts, only ideological ones.

As Clausewitz suggested, war is politics by other means. Inversely, politics is also war by other means. The Left is fighting a political civil war and has little interest in foreign wars. Leftist control over any institution transforms it into another battalion in its culture war against us.

While China and other enemy nations expand outward, America is stuck in a civil war. That’s why we continue to lose to China in our war games. Instead of being prepared for a war, our woke military brass, men like Secretary of Defense Austin, Gen. Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Gen. Charles Q. Brown, Air Force Chief of Staff, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Gilday, and others have made it abundantly clear that their priority is enforcing wokeness.

They have no plan to fight or win a war against any substantial enemy. They’re here to enforce the identity politics mandates on the military in between schmoozing at D.C. cocktail parties.

Ask them how to beat China and they don’t have an answer, but just ask them their pronouns, ask them about green energy, systemic racism and abortion and they’ll talk your ears off.

The woke military brass with its pronouns and allegiance to the ideals of the same enemy they were tasked with fighting during the Cold War is a national security threat to our nation.

krainian President Volodimir Zelensky has officially signed a controversial new law expanding his administration’s control over Ukrainian news media, much to the concern of media unions and press freedom organizations who accuse the Eastern European leader of stifling free speech.

According to a report by the Hill, Zelensky’s new law allows his National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council, made up of his own appointees and those appointed by parliament, to have more control over what Ukrainian news outlets and journalists report on.

With the signing of his new law, Zelensky’s regulatory agency “can effectively shut down news sites that aren’t registered,” alleges The Kyiv Independent.

The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine in a statement last month claimed the controversial law posed a “threat” to press freedom in Ukraine, comparing it to similar laws in “the regime of dictatorial Russia.”

“Such powers are clearly excessive,” the organization wrote. “No one has yet managed to tame freedom of speech in Ukraine. It won’t work this time either.”

The law comes after Zelensky’s 2019 law, which gave the government regulatory authority over the media in his first year in office.

Zelensky has been battling accusations of authoritarianism, particularly after he criminalized his most popular opposition parties and banned his country’s largest Orthodox church.

BlackRock will be advising Zelensky on “reconstruction” funding for Ukraine, Valiant News reported. Perhaps coincidentally, a senior BlackRock executive currently sits as a top advisor to the US Treasury Department on the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

In a press release last Wednesday, Zelensky, who recently appeared in front of Congress to demand even more money for Ukraine, revealed that he had a conference call with Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock.

A Child’s-Eye View of Communism’s Absurdities

Candid childhood memories of life behind the Iron Curtain

It is a truism to say that children have a grasp of reality different from adults; a clearer and more honest grasp that in most cases they lose with maturity. Rare is the man or woman who retains that innocent capacity to see through grown-up hypocrisy and pretence, presented to us so vividly in Hans Andersen’s memorable fairy-tale, The Emperor’s New Clothes.

In this humorous memoir of growing up in a city (unidentified) of 40,000 in the southern Urals of the Soviet Union in the 1970s-1980s, Fr Alexander Krylov, of Russian-German origin, manages to retain the undeceived eyes of childhood as he relates the absurdities and contradictions of life under Communism.

God and family

So many memoirs of living under the Soviet regime are, understandably, riven with bitterness and anger; the suffering has been too great to forget. The young Krylov, an only child, was protected from this by the love and faith of his family: his Catholic mother and grandmother and his Orthodox father.

The latter died when he was aged seven; showing unusual understanding for his age, Krylov realised that he was now “the one man in the family.” A certain independence of outlook seems to have characterised him from the start — probably because, despite the constant atheist propaganda impressed on him at school and in the wider society, “God’s presence in everyday life was… self-evident for our family.”

Much of this was owing to his grandmother’s influence for, as the family breadwinner, his mother had to work long hours outside the home. This grandmother, who had grown up in a German-speaking colony in Russia, resembled a traditional Russian “babushka” in her fortitude, her generosity and her strong faith that years of living in Leonid Brezhnev’s decrepit Soviet society could not erase.

In this world, all its citizens were officially atheist yet, as Krylov relates, everyone in his neighbourhood “knew” who the believers were and what religion they followed. His grandmother “saw an ally in every human being who was seeking God — Jews, Orthodox and Muslims” because — especially in death — “common prayer was much more important than any disagreement.”

There were no churches in his city and he only saw the inside of an Orthodox church (in western Ukraine) before starting school, aged six. Overwhelmed by its icons, candles and awe-inspiring atmosphere, Krylov told his mother, “Let’s stay here forever.” Undeterred, his grandmother erected a homemade altar in their small apartment, with its holy pictures, holy water, hymns and secret celebrations of the great Christian feasts. A candle would be lit in the window at Christmas; it was “somehow implicitly clear that God does not abandon human beings as long as a light is burning in at least one window on Christmas Eve and at least one person is waiting for the Christ-child.”

Economic woes

The author takes a gentle swipe at western society, obsessed with dietary fashions, when he explains, in a chapter titled “Healthy Diet”, why Soviet citizens had no choice but a healthy diet. Trying to survive in a corrupt and inefficient command economy, almost all families had an allotment with fruit trees and vegetables, to compensate for what they could not buy in the shops: everything possible was pickled, canned, stored or preserved. For some reason chickens were plentiful:

“Thanks to the poor work of the chemical industry, they were raised with no additives and usually looked as though they had walked by themselves from the chicken factory to the grocery store.”

I laughed aloud as I read this and other reminiscences, narrated in the candid way of a man who has not lost the artless gaze of a child. (After a distinguished academic career in Moscow, Fr Krylov decided to become a priest aged 42, on Easter Monday 2011 and was ordained in 2016.)

Another anecdote describes how he briefly worked in a grocery store where the shelves were often lacking common items buyers craved. Organising the shop’s store room, he noticed many such items, piled them on a trolley and wheeled it through into the shop, to the delighted surprise of the customers. The teenage boy could not understand why the manageress looked so discomfited and why his employment was suddenly curtailed.

Inner life

Just as the late Russian poet, Irina Ratushinskaya, who spent four years in the Gulag for writing “subversive” poetry, commented she was told so often as a child “there is no God”, that she began to believe in Him, Krylov reflects: “The prohibition against owning a Bible in the Soviet Union could only confirm its importance.”

In a telling incident in his teens, he describes a classroom meeting where these young Soviet citizens planned “to put socialist democracy into action.” This meant denouncing a fellow student who would not obey the rules. Krylov, who had befriended him, defended him in front of his classmates. They then turned on him, aware that he too was somehow “different.” The author comments, “Although I was always present, I lived my own life”. This hidden, inner life, which they sensed though it was never made explicit, presented an existential threat to his fellow student ideologues.

Inevitably, Lenin’s image was everywhere. Joining the Communist youth group, the Young Pioneers, one wore a red neckerchief and star. “Depicted on this star were the head of Lenin and three tongues of fire. I shared with no one my impression that this star depicted the head of Lenin burning in hell.” This was the response of a child whose private faith, never mentioned in class, helped to protect him against the atheism he was forced to listen to in public.

Finally, aged 15, overhearing the jocular remark of a friend’s father that vodka was “opium for the people”, Krylov comments: “Suddenly my eyes were opened: [I realised that] Communism had simply become a new religion.”

If the Emperor in this case was not exactly naked, nonetheless the short, discrete chapters of this kindly memoir remind readers that his clothes were uncomfortable, unsuitable, ill-fitting and threadbare.

Latest Jihadist Attack Shows Biden Bureaucratized Counterterrorism Apparatus is Out of Touch

On New Year’s Eve Two New York Police officers were stabbed in an apparent terrorist attack.

Their alleged assailant, 19-year-old Trevor Bickford, was identified as a recent convert to Islam. Armed with a kukri knife common to South Asian nations such as Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan, Bickford reportedly wounded two officers before being shot in the shoulder by another officer on the scene.

All the available evidence seems to suggest that Bickford carried out the attack as an act of jihad.

Fox News reported that a “high-level police source” stated that Bickford was being “watched by the FBI’s counterterrorism task force in the weeks leading up to Saturday’s attack.” According to media reports Bickford also left a message to family members prior to the attack, urging them to convert to Islam.

This is the first high profile attack reported in the US in some time and the law enforcement response and actions indicate that the nation remains largely in denial about the ongoing threat of jihadist violence.

For those who closely monitor such things, this attack was not a complete surprise. Over the past month, as the Islamic State (IS) named a new emir, Abu al-Hussein al-Husseini al-Qurayshi, dozens of IS affiliates around the globe released videos pledging their allegiance. In the past the Islamic State has been able to inspire and/or direct individual acts of jihad like Bickford’s attack, something that other jihadist organizations, such as Al Qaeda, have had less success accomplishing.

The report that Bickford was known to the FBI and “on their radar” as a known “extremist” is unsurprising, another example of a long-standing trend of terror suspects “watched by the FBI’s counterterrorism task force” all the way up until they conduct their attacks. A significant number of those attackers were also jihadists.

One can also not help but wonder whether the FBI is taking its eye off the ball due to command influence from the Biden administration. For more than two years now President Biden has repeated the claim that the major terrorist threat in America is from “white supremacists” or right-wing extremists. This oft-repeated claim comes despite the fact that the FBI has not a single white supremacist on its most wanted terrorist lists—lists dominated by jihadist terrorists.

Just a few weeks ago the United Nations Security Council—hardly a sentinel for the security of freedom-loving peoples—issued a report warning that the threat from “terrorism” has increased and has spread around the globe.

The report specifically mentioned the regenerating threat from Al Qaeda and the Islamic State and financing that is reaching them. The UN’s counterterrorism chief specifically mentioned the groups’ activities in Africa and Afghanistan.

U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, Victoria Nuland, acknowledged that there were “8,000 terrorist incidents across 65 countries, killing more than 23,000 people” last year.

Then she said something incomprehensible. She pointed to “hateful incidents here in our country” as proof no country is safe from the threat.

The overwhelming majority of the 8,000 terrorist incidents in 65 countries that Nuland referred to were acts of jihad. And most of them occurred in Africa. The “hateful incidents” in America she mentions, without reference or attribution, are presumably violations of hate crimes statues, in no way comparable to the threat from global jihad. Nuland’s comments reflect the profound ignorance that pervades this administration as well as a growing willingness to conflate terrorism with other, less lethal, issues.

As we head into 2023 we have more than a warning from the UN to alert us to the threat from jihadist terrorism. We have a new terrorist leader who has garnered pledges of allegiance from jihadists from Nigeria to Afghanistan to the Philippines. And now we have a jihadist terrorist attack on police officers on the streets of America.

Will the Biden administration be ready?

The website Motorious reported on Friday that former Georgia Congressman Bob Barr has been sounding the alarm on a terrifying item buried within the Biden-McConnell “infrastructure” legislation, which passed in August 2021. According to Barr, the government will now have the power to shut off your vehicle if they determine you are partaking in any “illegal” activity.

Does anyone really believe the Biden Regime will not abuse this newly obtained power? Of course, they will! Particularly if such power can effectively target those opposed to the Regime’s agenda.

Better not be driving a gas-guzzling vehicle. The Regime might think you are a conservative and leave you stranded in the middle of a highway.

According to an article written by former U.S. Representative Bob Barr, hidden away in the recently passed infrastructure bill, the very one I warned before would negatively impact drivers across the country if it were to pass, is a measure to install vehicle kill switches into every new car, truck, and SUV sold in this country. The regulation likely won’t be enforced for five years, so maybe there’s time to do something about this.

As we’ve seen both in this country and others recently, what constitutes “law-abiding” can change drastically overnight. For example, in September a car was pulled over in New Zealand and the occupants arrested when police discovered the trunk was full of Kentucky Fried Chicken meals.

They were smuggling the fast food to customers in locked-down Auckland, against quarantine measures. Yet not too long before, delivering restaurant orders to people was considered a reputable, legal activity.

It gets even better: Barr points out that the bill, which has been signed into law by President Biden, states that the kill switch, which is referred to as a safety device, must “passively monitor the performance of a driver of a motor vehicle to accurately identify whether that driver may be impaired.”

In other words, Big Brother will constantly be monitoring how you drive. If you do something the system has been programmed to recognize as driver impairment, your car could just shut off, which could be incredibly dangerous.

There is the possibility the kill switch program might measure your driving as impaired, then when you try to start the car up again the engine won’t fire up. That would potentially leave you stranded.

After a 13-month investigation into Hunter Biden’s Laptop, Marco Polo, a nonprofit led by a former President Donald Trump staffer, released a 630-page report yesterday with 2,020 citations that fully document 459 crimes committed by the Biden family and their business associates.

The detailed report, which was sent to District Attorneys, U.S. Attorneys, and all 535 members of the House and the Senate, includes 140 alleged business-related crimes, 191 sex-related offenses, and 128 drug-related crimes.

The group’s founder Garrett Ziegler told The Sun:

“Our number one goal is to ensure that Republicans don’t waste time.”

“The investigation has been done.”

“This report is a simple but extremely thorough roadmap for who needs to be subpoenaed for which timeframes and for what types of crimes.”

“All we’re seeking is the equal application of the law.”

“So far, this saga has been one of the greatest examples of double standards in American legal history.”

Ziegler and his team use documents, emails, photographs, videos, text messages, calendar items, phone records, voice notes, financial reports, and more found on the Biden Laptop to diligently detail the Bidens’ foreign collusion and money laundering operation.

Marco Polo’s report also reveals that China’s President Xi Jinping played a personal role in “approving meetings” of the Biden family’s joint venture with CEFC China Energy Company Limited (CEFC Energy).

“Prospective meetings between YE and Joe were to be approved by XI Jinping himself, who they called the “No. 1,” and the daily operations were overseen by ZANG Jianjun,” the report says.

Snow go for NYC’s electric garbage trucks that can’t handle winter weather

Don’t count on seeing electric garbage trucks plowing snow from city streets any time soon.

The city Department of Sanitation’s goals to become carbon neutral are clashing with the limits of electric-powered vehicles.

The department aims to switch all 6,000 vehicles in its fleet from gas to electric as part of the state’s goal to reduce emissions by 2040. But city officials say they haven’t found electric garbage trucks that are powerful enough to plow snow.

The department has ordered seven electric rear loader garbage trucks, custom-made by Mack and costing more than $523,000 each, with delivery slated for the spring. Used for curbside trash collection, the department’s current rear loader truck fleet runs on diesel and is outfitted with plows to clear streets during snow season.

But officials say previous electric trucks tested by sanitation have not lasted longer than four hours plowing snow before running out of power, and the new electric trucks will be used for trash collection but not plowing snow.

“We found that they could not plow the snow effectively – they basically conked out after four hours. We need them to go 12 hours,” Sanitation Commissioner Jessica Tisch told the City Council last month. “Given the current state of the technology, I don’t see today a path forward to fully electrifying the rear loader portion of the fleet by 2040.

“We can’t really make significant progress in converting our rear loader fleet until the snow challenges are addressed,” she added.

Some other snowy cities don’t use garbage trucks for snow removal. In Denver, municipal snow clearing is done by smaller light-duty trucks equipped with plows, and some residential streets may not get plowed by the city at all.

But New York City’s commitment to plowing each street puts the sanitation department’s 2,100 collection trucks to work each winter, clearing the equivalent of 19,000 miles of street lanes. The service is one of the mayor’s most important duties. Mayors Bill de Blasio and Michael Bloomberg both faced withering criticism while in office for slow snow removal.

The department’s goal of fully electrifying its fleet goes beyond technological challenges presented by the vehicles themselves. It also requires building charging stations and other infrastructure, Tisch said.

“The Supreme Court of Texas denied my Mandamus, effectively terminating my parental rights. My children are now subject to being chemically castrated in California. Texas is an empire of child abuse, led by Texas judges,” he said.

Jeffrey Younger has lost his court case to prevent his ex-wife from taking their son to California, where he could be medically transitioned. Younger has been trying to stop this from happening for years, and has now reached the end of the line. He is prevented by the courts of Texas from protecting his boys from medical mutilation at the hands of their mother, who is a pediatrician. Younger has accused her of using the children to help advertise her “inclusive,” “gender affirming” practice.

“The Supreme Court of Texas denied my Mandamus, effectively terminating my parental rights. My children are now subject to being chemically castrated in California. Texas is an empire of child abuse, led by Texas judges,” he said.

This after Judge Kim Cooks, on October 24, said that both parents should have a “joint managing conservatorship,” which each able to have “a say in his medical treatment,” The Texan reported.

The custody case was before the Supreme Court of Texas, which ruled against Younger. Younger had issued a petition on December 16 to try to retain his parental rights after his ex-wife, Dr. Anne Georgulas, took the boys to California.

California has a law in place, starting on Sunday, that children in that state will not be returned to their home state in the event that the home state would prevent the children from being medically transitioned to present as the opposite sex. Younger wanted the boys brought home.

California Senate Bill 107, proposed by State Senator Scott Wiener and signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsom, will “prohibit the enforcement of an order based on another state’s law authorizing a child to be removed from their parent or guardian based on that parent or guardian allowing their child to receive gender-affirming health care or gender-affirming mental health care.”

Younger’s concern, per his petition, is that in California, his son “would be subjected to transgender procedures deemed to be child abuse by official opinion of the Texas Attorney General.” Texas has laws against the medical gender transition of children and teens.

“The Children would lose the protections of injunctions on the Mother that prevent her from chemically castrating the Children or sexually mutilating them in transgender surgeries,” younger said in his petition, according to The Texan.

Younger was married to pediatrician Georgulas. Georgulas and Younger ended up in court fighting over the children when she believed that James, Younger’s 7-year-old, wanted to live as a girl called Luna.

She petitioned the court to prevent Younger from “from signing Luna up as James for any activities or taking her as James or calling her James or using male pronouns related to Luna at any activities outside the home…”

She further asked the court to prevent Younger from “allowing the children to remain in the presence of anyone who is not calling Luna by her chosen name, ‘Luna,’ not using female pronouns to refer to her and otherwise not affirming Luna.”

Georgulas began to believe James was a girl when he asked for a “girl’s toy” from McDonald’s and wanted to wear dresses, as well as began to emulate the female lead characters in Disney’s Frozen. It was a counselor at the GENecis clinic at the Children’s Hospital Center who advised Georgulas to “socially transition” James, according to court documents. Georgulas was affiliated with that hospital.

Younger, who had joint custody in 2019, was and remains entirely against this course of action. When James is with Younger, he does not ask to be called Luna, does not seek out girls’ clothes. Yet a court determined that Younger must use the pronouns and names the ex-wife demanded.

In a video posted to the dad’s website, James is asked, “You’re a boy right?” Heavy reported.

“No, I’m a girl.”

“Who told you you’re a girl?”

“Mommy.”

The child said Anne also put James in dresses. “She buys me headbands. She gets me hair clips…she paints my nails.”

“Do you think you’re a girl?” The child answered in the affirmative.

Georgulas was awarded custody by the Texas courts in 2021. “Dallas County District Court Judge Mary Brown awarded Georgulas full custody of James. Brown also eliminated the requirement that Jeff Younger be notified about James’ medical procedures, except for instances of hormone suppression therapy, puberty-blocking drugs, and gender reassignment surgery. Under that order, Younger must consent to any decisions made under those categories of procedure,” The Texan reported.

Witnesses who knew the boys and could attest that James did not identify as a girl when left to his own devices, were prevented from testifying in the case. One mother of the boys’ friends said, in testimony she wasn’t allowed to give in 2019, that:

“Over the past year, I have observed that James is blissfully happy as a boy. He loves to march around outside and yell, ‘we are the only boy scout troop’ or ‘I’m the Leader of the wolf pack!’ He is always the ring leader, even though he isn’t the oldest of the group. He loves dressing as a super hero and sword fighting. One day we all walked to a playground near my house and on the way home James slipped in some mud and got his clothes dirty. He asked if he could borrow some of my kids clothes and I could wash his.

“Of course I said, ‘no problem’ and grabbed him a pair of shorts from the chest of drawers and tossed them to him. I said, ‘hang on while I grab a shirt from the closet’. He immediately said, ‘Mrs. Sarah, I don’t need a shirt! It’s hot! And boys don’t have to wear shirts if they don’t want to! Isn’t that awesome!’ He was so cute. I said, ‘yes that is awesome!’ As he ran off to play. I did eventually get him to put on a shirt. It was gray with lizards on it and he loved it! He also likes having his hair cut a certain way but told my son Grayson that his mom wouldn’t let him get it too short even though he wanted it to be spikey.”

The Office of the Attorney General of Texas filed an amicus letter with the courts on December 22, 2022, saying “a trial court has allowed relator’s former partner to move to California with their children over relator’s objection. There, she intends to provide the child with potentially irreversible medical interventions that may constitute child abuse under Texas law, Atty Gen. Op. KP-0401—particularly given that a court has previously found that ‘Mom may have over corrected’ for any symptoms of gender confusion exhibited by their child, Pet. 8 (excerpting order). The trial court clearly abused its discretion in permitting relator’s former partner to remove the children from the State given the ongoing litigation regarding their well-being. And that error may be irremediable on appeal because California has enacted a law that makes it difficult (if not impossible) for Relator to regain custody of his vulnerable child.”

When Younger attemtped to speak out about gender transition at the University of North Texas, he was prevented from doing so by far-left activists who shut the speaking engagement down.

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: 600 Migrants Cross Border in 3 Hours into Texas Border Town

EAGLE PASS, Texas — Breitbart Texas posted along the Rio Grande south of town and observed a single group of nearly 300 migrants emerge from the riverbank and surrender to Texas National Guardsmen and Border Patrol agents Wednesday. Two large groups of nearly 600 crossed the Rio Grande in the early morning.

The first group of migrants consisted mainly of single adult male and female migrants from Colombia, Cuba, and Nicaragua. Scattered within the group were a few family units with small children and several elderly migrants. This was the first of two large migrant groups that would cross within three hours.

The large migrant groups have shifted their crossing points near Eagle Pass from just outside the north side of the city to a more remote crossing far south of the heart of the city.

The video shows the migrants emerging from the riverbank and being guided to a gap in a ranch fence on the edge of a nearby roadway. Once guided around the ranch fence, the migrants are interviewed by awaiting Border Patrol agents. The migrants are then sorted by nationality and gender and prioritized for transportation to a nearby processing center.

The group crossed shortly after 2:00 am as Breitbart Texas posted at several busy migrant crossing points. The large migrant group would not be the last for a weary shift of Border Patrol agents and Texas National Guard soldiers stationed in the area.

Another large group of 278 migrants crossed the Rio Grande at about 4:30 a.m. just north of the first group, according to a source operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The group crossed onto private property located about two miles from the Camino Real Port of Entry in Eagle Pass. The crossing point is near the south edge of a border wall built under orders of Governor Greg Abbott.

Within three hours, more than 600 migrants had crossed the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass.

Agents scrambled to that area about two miles away and repeated the process. The migrants crossing into the area are from countries not amenable to a speedy return to their home country under the CDC Title 42 emergency COVID-19 authority. According to a source within CBP, not authorized to speak to the media, the migrants crossing in Wednesday’s groups will be released into the United States to pursue asylum claims. The Supreme Court voted on Tuesday to leave Title 42 in place until it rules on the lawsuit filed by 19 states, Breitbart reported.

Once processed, the migrants will be taken to a charity shelter in the Eagle Pass and later transferred to a larger charity shelter in San Antonio, Texas. Many will depart San Antonio for other parts of the United States.

On Tuesday, nearly 1,100 migrants crossed the Rio Grande in just five hours in the same area south of the city…..

Democrats Have Fully Morphed Into Orwell’s English Socialist [INGSOC] Party

On October 30, 2008 in Columbia, Missouri Barrack Hussein Obama said, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

On January 16th, 2017 CNSNews‘ Dr. Paul Kengor wrote, “It was a stunning statement, boldly revolutionary, surpassed only by the response of those in attendance, who, rather than pausing to reflect upon such an audacious assertion, wildly applauded.”

Audacious assertion indeed, boldly revolutionary, without a doubt.

Fast forward to 2022 and the current Democrat Party as we the people are experiencing a party that has truly “fundamentally transformed” itself from the party of JFK into the party of BHO and JRB.

We, and many others, are beginning to understand just how stunning, revolutionary and audacious this transformation has become.

This fundamental transformation reminded us of a dystopian social science fiction novel and cautionary tale by English writer George Orwell titled “1984.”

Since that day in 2008 the Democrat Party has fundamentally transformed itself into Orwell’s “English Socialist Party” or “INGSOC.” Perhaps it is time to understand just how and why this happened.

First we need to understand the how and why George Orwell’s Oceania (made up of America and England) was created, why it controls its people and how the INGSOC Party retained its power.

While in the Ministry of Truth being tortured by Party members, O’Brian explains INGSOC to Winston Smith thusly,

The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are solely interested in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power

[ … ]

The German Nazis and Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes a revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now do you begin to understand me?

INGSOC and the Democrat Party

In George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984 INGSOC fundamentally:

  • Is an ideology that serves as the driving force behind the totalitarian regime of 1984‘s fictional state of Oceania. It is also the country’s sole political party.
  • Keeps its grip on Oceania by regulating the flow of information, employing an army of spies to keep an eye on its members, and invading all aspects of private life.
  • Has as its core ideas taken from Nazi Germany in the way it operates on a daily basis using surveillance and the Gestapo and SS to implement its political agenda.

Today the Democrats, led by the lure of Democrat socialism (a Newspeak oxymoron), say that they seek a paradise where human beings would be free and equal but that is and was never their ultimate goal.

Their goal, like the English Socialist Party in 1984, is power, only power, pure power.

After the inauguration of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. the Democrat Party, emboldened by their ability to put their collectivist thumbs on the scale of a presidential election, started down the path of grabbing power in any and every way possible.

We now know that they:

  1. Censored the news and social media to hide the truth and keep vast amounts of information that was negative toward its presidential candidate, e.g. the Hunter Biden laptop, secret. This same media cabal shadow banned and de-platformed all those who questioned the party’s candidate. According to polls, these efforts had a direct impact on the outcome of the 2020 election.   3. Forced individuals to take the Covid vaccine or lose their jobs and freedom of medical choice. This led to more deaths from taking the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines than those dying from the virus itself.
  4. They weaponized the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Central Intelligence Agency and even the Department of Defense to spy on American citizens social media accounts and silence any and all opposition to the Democrat Party and its policies. These departments became the defacto “thought police.”
  5. Weaponizing the DOJ and FBI directly led to the formation of the J6 Committee, an INGSOC style show trial.
  6. The Democrat Party began a campaign to demonize those who identified as American patriots, part of the make America great again movement and supported those politicians that supported President Donald J. Trump. Donald J. Trump has literally become Emmanuel Goldstein, the fictitious enemy of INGSOC.
  7. The Democrats have introduced “Newspeak” into the American lexicon via the introduction of Critical Race Theory into public schools, colleges and universities. The Democrats then created Newspeak terms such as: Islamophobe, Homophobe, Racist, White Supremacist to attack their political enemies. They even believe anyone who uses the word American is an enemy of the state.
  8. Democrats have started another endless war in the Ukraine in order to shift billion and billions of tax payer dollars to those like FTX who then funneled the money via proxies like Alameda Research back into the coffers of The Party.
  9. The Democrats are bent on the destruction of the traditional family by promoting homosexuality, abortion, gender transformation drugs and surgeries. This effort is beyond even what INGSOC did in Orwell’s novel.
  10. The Telescreens that are always on and a key tool for Big Brother to always watch everyone in 1984 is now the cell phones, Alexa devices, cameras on our home computers and laptops and of course the weaponized DOJ, FBI, CIA and DoD monitoring every social media site globally.
  11. Big Brother who insures citizens of Oceania are kept in line is now Big Brother Biden and his ever expanding thought police, e.g. IRS armed agents.
  12. And finally, there are no borders in Oceania, just as the United States southern border no longer exists.

The Bottom Line

The goal of the Democrat Party is to become, like INGSOC, the only political party in America. Only when that is achieved will they, this new version of INGSOC, become all powerful.

We are seeing it in states like California where there is essentially only one party. Everywhere Democrats control a state’s government we see them taking more and more power and taking away more and more freedoms from their citizens.

This power extends to every facet of life in Democrat strongholds. Obey or be punished. Follow us or we will hunt you down and destroy you, your family, job, business and future.

As George Orwell’s O’Brien said to Winston Smith, “There will be no curiosity, no enjoyment of the process of life. All competing pleasures will be destroyed. But always— do not forget this, Winston— always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face — forever.”

The only thing that will stop this madness is if a few good people come together and vote these Democrats out of office from the school house to the White House.

This is why November 2024 will be a day a reckoning for America.

In 2019, 40 Democrats Called Ukraine’s Nazi Azov Battalion a Terrorist Org. Now They Send It Billions

One thing is certain: the full extent of the ties between Ukraine and the posturing, self-righteous, desperately corrupt, hypocritical and self-serving U.S. Democrat establishment is not publicly known, and may never be known. But what we do know should have brought that entire establishment crashing down years ago. First, there was Hunter Biden’s $50,000-a-month job with the Ukrainian gas company Burisma despite his having no experience whatsoever in the industry. This was an obvious instance of influence-peddling despite all the ongoing attempts to explain it away. Then there are the allegations that the U.S. government sent taxpayer money to Ukraine, which then invested in the discredited cryptocurrency firm FTX, which then donated millions to Democrats. The heated denials of any wrongdoing in the latter case recall the denials of the authenticity of Hunter’s laptop. And there is much more, including the fact that yesterday’s Ukrainian Nazi terrorists are now U.S. taxpayer-funded heroes of freedom.

The facts have gotten little attention, but the independent journalism site Kanekoa News reported as long ago as last June that “on October 16, 2019, the top Democrat on the House Homeland Security Committee’s counterterrorism subpanel, Rep. Max Rose (NY), led a letter signed by forty Democrats asking the State Department why they had not placed Ukraine’s Azov Battalion on the U.S. list of ‘foreign terrorist organizations’ (FTOs).” The irony couldn’t be richer, for now the New York Times, that reliable organ of far-Left opinion, refers to “Ukraine’s celebrated Azov Battalion,” and claims that “the group’s defense of the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol — the southern port city decimated by Russian forces in the first months of the war — has become a powerful symbol of the suffering inflicted by Russia and the resistance mounted by Ukraine.”

Every last Democrat who condemned the Azov Battalion likely reads and respects the Times, and every last one of them also would likely prefer us all to forget that they once likened the Azov Battalion to the Islamic State (ISIS) and noted that it “openly welcomes neo-Nazis into its ranks.” The Democrats’ 2019 letter added that “the 115th Congress of the United States stated in its 2018 omnibus spending bill that ‘none of the funds made available by this act may be used to provide arms, training or other assistance to the Azov Battalion.’” But that was when Volodymyr Zelensky was widely regarded as some kind of ally or tool of the Left’s Emanuel Goldstein of the day, Donald Trump; after all, the first Stalinist show trial impeaching the America-First president took place over a phone call to Zelensky. So it was in the Democrats’ interest to play up the Nazi element in Ukraine, just as it is in their interests now to pretend that element doesn’t exist.

The Democrats’ letter even declared “Azov has been recruiting, radicalizing, and training American citizens for years according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.” Yet now it seems as if there is no limit to the taxpayer billions that must be funneled to these gallant Ukrainian defenders of freedom. Is anyone exercising any kind of oversight at all? Is Azov still “recruiting, radicalizing, and training American citizens”? Is our taxpayer money now being used to fund such activities?

Among the stalwart Democrat solons and defenders of the people signing the letter were Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, Eliot Engel and Gregory Meeks of New York, Jamie Raskin of Maryland, Sheila Jackson Lee and Al Green of Texas, Ro Khanna of California, and Rep. Al Green. None of them have any curiosity about any of this at all? Now they’re all just certain that Ukraine is 100% on the side of the angels and that there are no Nazis, zero, zip, nada, who are benefiting from American largesse to Zelensky and company? Back in 2018, Ro Khanna, in high moral dudgeon, declared: “White supremacy and neo-Nazism are unacceptable and have no place in our world. I am very pleased that the recently passed omnibus prevents the U.S. from providing arms and training assistance to the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion fighting in Ukraine.” How about now? Kanekoa News reports that on March 10, 2022, Khanna “deleted a tweet saying, ‘the U.S. has been complicit in the rehabilitation and spread of neo-Nazis in Ukraine. Enough is enough! Our government must stand up to the Azov Battalion and other fascist groups.’”

So apparently our government no longer must stand up to the Azov Battalion and other fascist groups. Instead, you and I have to pay for them. Is all this so that Democrats can line their pockets via money-laundering schemes akin to the alleged FTX arrangement? We may never know, since the officials who are supposed to be looking out for our interests are all corrupted themselves. The scammers and money launderers, whatever specifically they are doing or not doing, have a free hand.
