VIDEO: How the United States funded China’s economy by approving over 1,000 patents of Communist entities
The United States helped finance and approved about 1,000 patents of Chinese entities.
Data from the U.S. Patent Office show that the Pentagon, NASA and other key U.S. government agencies have funded researchers located in China in sensitive fields such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology for 14 years and the U.S. government has granted Chinese entities over 1,000 U.S. patents.
U.S. Congressman John Molinar, chairman of the House of Representatives’ Special Committee on China Affairs, wrote in response, “It is alarming that U.S. taxpayers have unknowingly funded over 1,000 patents filed by Chinese entities, with the Ministry of Defense responsible for nearly 100 of these patents.”
