Dartmouth Bills College Republicans $3,600 For Security After Forcing Antifa Critic Andy Nog’s Event Online

There just isn’t any doubt about what is happening here. Dartmouth is trying to destroy the College Republicans and crush dissent. It’s what Leftists do, and virtually all of America’s major colleges and universities are controlled by the Left today.

Dartmouth bills College Republicans $3,600 for security after forcing live Andy Ngo event online

by Greg Piper, Just the News, April 21, 2022:

An Ivy League school is demanding after-the-fact security fees from its College Republicans chapter for an event the administration banned in person, threatening the club’s ability to continue hosting events, its president told Just the News.

Dartmouth College ordered the CRs to move the Jan. 20 event with Portland-based Antifa chronicler Andy Ngo online just hours before it was scheduled to start, citing “credible threats” the administration received from law enforcement.

Hanover Police, however, said it didn’t ask Dartmouth to shut down the Ngo event, which it was prepared to secure, and wasn’t told why Dartmouth moved it online.

Event security fees on campus have emerged as a high-profile flashpoint in recent years, usually with right-leaning student clubs accusing administrators of caving to the heckler’s veto by sticking them with unreasonable estimates and bills for speakers perceived as controversial.

Ohio approved legislation in 2020 to ban public universities from basing security fees on the anticipated reaction to a speaker. But an appeals court dismissed a lawsuit against the University of Minnesota after it revised a policy used to move conservative pundit Ben Shapiro to a smaller, less convenient venue than progressive speakers received.

Dartmouth CRs President Chloe Ezzo learned the club had been stuck with a $3,600 bill from the Ngo event, and was thus not in “good standing,” when she applied for funding for its Wednesday night event with James O’Keefe, the conservative firebrand who founded Project Veritas.

The Dartmouth Anarchists, an anonymous group that previously threatened to disrupt the Ngo event, publicly accused the CRs of announcing the O’Keefe event “at the last minute” to avoid scrutiny but didn’t directly threaten to disrupt it.

In a phone call hours before the O’Keefe event, Ezzo described a maddening bureaucratic process that involved three requests for funding from the 18-member Council on Student Organizations, whose rules are “very vague and selectively enforced.”

The council didn’t mention the outstanding security bill until the second request, and one member suggested a prohibited alumni fundraiser to pay the debt, according to Ezzo. It rejected her third request for a token $450 to cover just security, meaning the Department of Safety and Security may stick them with another bill of unknown amount.

“We might come out of this event with four grand of debt” and risk the college freezing its account, Ezzo said. “I feel like we’re set up to fail.”

Antifa Drives Andy Ngo Into Exile – Mainstream Press Silent

If there is anyone in America who should NOT be silenced, or ignored, it is Andy Ngo. This soft spoken, level-headed, and courageous journalist has tirelessly exposed both the relentless violence of Antifa as well as the appalling negligence of civic authorities to crack down on the violence.

For his trouble, Ngo has been maligned by Rolling Stone as a “right-wing troll,” and by Vox as a “far right sympathizer.” Yielding to the same organized intimidation that prevents city councils from prosecuting Antifa violence, Ngo has been thrown off Pay Pal and Instagram. In Ngo’s home city of Portland, the landmark independent bookstore, Powells, has announced they will not stock his forthcoming book. And now, Ngo, a gay immigrant born in Vietnam, has been driven out of his adopted nation.

Ngo has already been a victim of political violence, in a June 29, 2019 attack by an Antifa mob that the leftist press somehow spun as something he brought upon himself. Their reasoning seemed to rest on the assumption that because Ngo was “biased against Antifa,” he had it coming. But Ngo’s videos speak for themselves.

Throughout the summer and fall of 2020, visitors to Ngo’s Twitter feed were treated to irrefutable evidence of the violence convulsing the nation, violence that was dismissed by the press as “mostly peaceful.” This violence is ongoing, and in nearly every case, Antifa has been the main instigator. And again and again and again and again, Ngo not only posted videos of the violence, but mug shots of the few perpetrators that would be arrested. And in nearly every case, they were immediately bailed out and charges were dropped.

No wonder Andy Ngo had to flee for his life. As he explained earlier this week on Sky News, Ngo, now in London, said “For a number of months now, there’s just been increasing threats of violence against me, promises by Antifa extremists to kill me. And all of those threats were reported to authorities, and even when I provided names of some of the suspects, nothing was done.”

Nothing was done. This is how people doing genuine investigative work are treated in America today. Ignored by the mainstream media, demonized by the more extreme leftist media, and left to fend for themselves by the authorities.

There is a pattern to this, because Antifa violence never had to spiral out of control in 2020 and engulf half the major cities in America. It was tolerated and even encouraged. And in many cases, the city councils that could have done something about it were too intimidated by Antifa mobs following them to their homes and threatening them.

When ridiculous corporate stooges like ABC Nightly “News” anchor David Muir gravely warn their gullible audiences about the threat from the “right wing,” they know what they’re doing. They’re willfully ignoring a trained army on the Left that has been extremely useful.

Andy Ngo is an American hero. We can only hope his work will continue, and that he will stay safe.

EXCLUSIVE: Here Is The Full Witness List For The Congressional Hearing On Antifa Violence

A subcommittee in the Senate is holding a congressional hearing on the violence caused by Antifa and will hear from a number of witnesses whose names have first been obtained by the Daily Caller.

The Senate Subcommittee on the Constitution, which is chaired by Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, will hold the hearing Tuesday titled “The Right of the People Peaceably to Assemble: Protecting Speech by Stopping Anarchist Violence.” The hearing will reportedly detail Antifa’s role in riots and more.

Here Are The Witnesses For The Hearing:

  • Acting Deputy DHS Secretary Ken Cuccinelli
  • U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas and co-head of the Department of Justice Task Force on Violent Anti-Government Extremists Erin Nealy Cox
  • Journalist Andy Ngo
  • Director and Senior Analyst for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism at the Center for Security Policy Kyle Shideler
  • George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley
  • Brennan Center Fellow Michael German
  • President and CEO of the Urban League of Portland Nkenge Harmon Johnson

This comes as riots continue across the country with a number of statues destroyed and defaced by rioters. Federal buildings and police offices have also been vandalized.

Many lawmakers have been calling out the violence caused by Antifa, while others like Democratic New York Rep. Jerry Nadler have called it “a myth.”

‘They Nearly Killed Me’: Journalist Andy Ngo Testifies Before Congress On Antifa Violence During Portland Protests

Journalist Andy Ngo shared his personal experience with Antifa violence and his first-hand knowledge of their strategies during a congressional hearing Monday.

Ngo testified in a virtual briefing called “The First Amendment Under Attack: Examining Government Violence Against Peaceful Civil Rights Protesters and the Journalists Covering Them” before the House Committee on Oversight and Reform Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties June 29, according to his written testimony.

“For years, I have been the victim of hundreds of threats by Antifa extremists,” Ngo said. “They’ve threatened to kill me, they spread lies about me being a fascist, a neo-Nazi, even a terrorist. They’ve shown up to my family’s home in the middle of the night, and they nearly killed me when they beat me in broad daylight within view of the police in the middle of downtown Portland last year.”

WATCH:

Violence against journalists is frequently committed by protesters, rather than law enforcement officers, Ngo said in his testimony.

“There are endless examples of public servants harming the very people they’re meant to serve — but it is an incomplete picture to only focus on injuries perpetrated by law enforcement during the past month of riots,” Ngo said.

Protests and riots broke out recently across the country following the death of George Floyd, who died after a former Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes, video of his arrest showed. The protests turned to violent demonstrations in some areas, leading to the destruction of buildings, statues and other landmarks.

Ngo claimed in his testimony that the destruction done to property and injuries sustained by individuals during recent protests is not a result of “over-policing,” but caused by “under-policing.”

“America is experiencing the consequences of police in retreat because of biased media narratives and poor leadership,” Ngo said. “This has allowed violent extremists to cloak themselves under the banner of ‘peaceful protest’ to carry out widespread arson, shootings, looting and property destruction.”

Ngo said that though the First Amendment is important, protests needed to obey the law to avoid “anarchy, violence and death,” according to his testimony.

“George Floyd deserves justice. But so do countless Americans victimized by the riots,” Ngo said.

PROMOTING DOMESTIC TERRORISM: The Antifa Bomber hated Elon Musk? Why?

Merriam-Webster Anarchy:

1 a : absence of government
b : a state of lawlessness or political disorder due to the absence of governmental authority
// the city’s descent into anarchy
c : a utopian society of individuals who enjoy complete freedom without government

Quote from Willem Van Spronsen’s Manifesto:

i am antifa, i stand with comrades around the world who act from the love of life in every
permutation. comrades who understand that freedom means real freedom fro all and a
life worth living.

keep the faith!
all power to the people!
bella ciao

Andy Ngo (@MrAndyNgo) posted this tweet after Willem Van Spronsen, 69, a member of Antifa was shot and killed by Washington State police after throwing firebombs at cars and at a federal detention facility on July 13, 2019.

CNN recently aired a documentary about the antifa militia whose member was killed in an ICE firebombing attack yesterday. You can see Mr van Sprossen at the 4 second time stamp in this trailer. https://twitter.com/wkamaubell/status/1124397498389356544

It was Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who tweeted on June 18, 2019,

This administration has established concentration camps on the southern border of the United States for immigrants, where they are being brutalized with dehumanizing conditions and dying. [Emphasis added]

Before being shot to death von Spronsen sent his Manifesto to friends (see full text below). Von Spronsen uses the words “concentration camps”multiple times in his Manifesto. Many of the news agencies picked up on this but they missed something more important.

The real reason for von Spronsen’s attack – violent class warfare leading to an anarchist uprising against our government.

Von Spronsen hated successful people among them Tesla CEO Elon Musk. In his Manifesto Spronsen wrote:

fascism serves the needs of the state serves the needs of business and at your
expense. who benefits? jeff bezos, warren buffett, elon musk, tim cook, bill gates, betsy
de vos, george soros, donald trump, and need i go on? let me say it again: rich guys,
(who think your’re not really all that good,) really did government, (every government
everywhere, including “communist” governments,) because they make the rules that
make rich guys richer.
simple.
don’t overthink it. [Emphasis added]

Von Spronsen was not only a member of Antifa but promoted a hate for the successful like Elon Musk. Why? Because the Democratic Party has made class warfare a part of their public policy. Tax the rich to give free stuff to those who can’t or don’t work for it.

Von Spronsen warned in his Manifesto, “beware the centrist.” This has become the mantra of the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party has abandoned any semblance of being centrist and has gone toward calling for anarchy and attacks on their political opponents. Anyone who supports the President of the United States Donald J. Trump is fair game. Watch this June 2019 video of Rep. Maxine Waters:

Violence begets violence. There are members of Congress who hate America, embrace Americas enemies and support those who would do America harm. This verbal hatred has turned into the firebombing of a federal facility.

Satyros Phil Brucato on his blog wrote:

Unlike the right-wing “patriots” who have turned our nation into Mass Shooter Central this past decade-and-then-some, Will van Spronsen did not unload bombs and bullets at innocent crowds. He staged a militarized attack against a militarized target that has violated national and international laws as well as the rules of decency and the social contract. He has done what our police should be doing, and the fact that cops and this administration continue to protect and justify these outrages is a greater crime than anything van Spronsen committed there.

This kind of rhetoric leads to more violence against “militarized” targets. This leads to anarchy.

Antifa bomber’s Manifesto

there’s wrong and there’s right.
it’s time to take action against the forces of evil.

evil says one life is worth less than another.
evil says the flow of commerce is our purpose here.
evil says concentration camps for folks deemed lesser are necessary.
the handmaid of evil says the concentration camps should be more humane.
beware the centrist.

i have a father’s broken heart
i have a broken down body
and i have an unshakeable abhorrence of injustice
this is my clear opportunity to try to make a difference, i’d be an ingrate to be waiting for
a more obvious invitation.

i follow three teachers:
don pritts, my spiritual guide, “love without action is just a word.”
john brown, my moral guide, “what is needed is action!”
emma goldman, my political guide, ‘if i can’t dance, i don’t want to be in your revolution”

i’m a head in the clouds dreamer, i believe in love and redemption.
i believe we’re going to win
i’m joyfully revolutionary. (we all should have been reading emma goldmamn in school
instead of the jingo drivil we were fed. but i digress.) (we should all be looking at the
photos of the YPJ heroes should we falter and think our dreams are impossible, but i
double digress. fight me.)

in these days of facist hooligans preying on vulnerable people on our streets, in the
name of the state or supported and defended by the state,

in these days of high profitable detention/ concentration camps and a battle over the
semantics,

in these days of hopelessness, empty pursuit and endless yearning,

we are living in visible fascism ascendant. (i say visible, because those paying attention
watched it survive and thrive under the protection of the state for decades. [see howard
zinn, “a people’s history of the united states.) now it unabashedly follows its agenda with
open and full cooperation from the government. from governments around the world.

fascism serves the needs of the state serves the needs of business and at your
expense. who benefits? jeff bezos, warren buffett, elon musk, tim cook, bill gates, betsy
de vos, george soros, donald trump, and need i go on? let me say it again: rich guys,
(who think your’re not really all that good,) really did government, (every government
everywhere, including “communist” governments,) because they make the rules that
make rich guys richer.
simple.
don’t overthink it.

(are you patriots in teh back paying attention?)

to my comrades:

i regret that i will miss the rest of the revolution.
thank you for the honor of having been in your midst.

giving me space to be useful, to feel that i was fulfilling my ideals, has been the spiritual
pinnical of my life.

doing what i can to help defend my precious and wondrous people is an experience too
rich to describe.

my trans comrades have transformed me, solidifying my conviction that we will be
guided to a dreamed of future by those most marginalized among us today. i have
dreamed it so clearly that i have no regret for not seeing how it turns out. than you for
bringing me so far along.

i am antifa, i stand with comrades around the world who act from the love of life in every
permutation. comrades who understand that freedom means real freedom fro all and a
life worth living.

keep the faith!
all power to the people!
bella ciao

audio manifesto: theSuper8.bandcamp.com

don’t let your silly government agencies spend money “investigating” this one. i was
radicalized in civics class at 13 when we were taught about the electorial college. it was
at that point that i decided that the status quo might be a house of cards. further reading
confirmed in the positive. i highly recommend reading!
i am not affiliated with any organization, i have disaffiated from any organization who
disagree with my choice of tactics.
the semi automatic weapon i used was a cheap, home built unregistered “ghost” ar15,
had six magazines. i strongly encourage comrades and incoming comrades to arm
themselves. we are not responsible for defending people from the predatory state.
ignore the law in arming yourself if you have the luxury, i did.

when i was a boy, in post war holland, later france, my head was filled with stories of the
rise of fascism in the 30’s. i promisted myself that i would not be one of those who
stands by as neighbors are torn from their homes and imprisoned for somehow being
perceived as lesser.
you don’t have to burn the motherfucker down, but are you just going to stand by?

this is the test of our fundamental belief in real freedom and our responsibility to each
other.
this is a call to patriots, too, to stand against this travesty against everything that you
hold sacred. i know you. i know your hearts, you see dishonor in these
camps. it’s time for you, too, to stand up to the money pulling the strings of every
goddamn puppet pretending to represent us.

i’m a man who loves you all and this spinning ball so much that i’m going to fulfill my
childhood promise to myself be noble.

here it is, in these corporate for profit concentration camps.
here it is, in brown and non conforming folks afraid to show their faces for fear of the
police/migra/ proud boys/the boss/beckies…
here it is, a planet almost used up by the market’s greed.

i.m a black and white thinker.
detention camps are an abomination.
i’m not standing by.
i really shouldn’t have to say any more that this.

i set aside my broken heart and i heal the only way i know how-by being useful.
i efficiently compartmentalize my pain…
and i joyfully go about this work.
(to those burdened with the wreckage from my actions, i hope that you will make the
best use of that burden.)
