The Government Has Become the ‘FedEx of Children from the Border to Traffickers’: Expert

Experts are sounding the alarm on the fact that the sex trafficking of minors has more than tripled under the Biden-Harris administration. “Biden’s border policies have led to an explosion in the forced prostitution of migrants in the U.S.,” wrote The Free Press’s investigative reporter Madeleine Rowley. In fact, added an informant from the nonprofit Shepherd’s Watch, “Nearly all … sex-trafficking rings now are migrant girls,” with a notable explosion of online sex-trafficking ads of women “within the first three months of the border being open.”

During “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” last week, Rowley explained how there’s no doubt the rise in sex trafficking “is directly tied to Biden opening the border.” Criminals are smuggling women and girls “across the border promising them a better life, promising them jobs, only to trick them and force them into prostitution after they have crossed the border.” As Family Research Council President Tony Perkins highlighted, unaccompanied “minors … are entrapped in this” by being handed off by the federal government directly “into the custody of people who are going to abuse them and exploit them.”

According to Rowley’s research, there were roughly 137,000 unaccompanied minors that crossed the border in 2023 alone. “[T]he government is tasked with vetting the sponsors that these children are released to,” she said. While “a lot of the times they’re released to … people that they know,” they’re often “released to what they call ‘category ‘three sponsors’ or ‘unrelated sponsors,’” many of whom are unvetted or the ones doing the trafficking.

It’s “just absolutely shocking and heartbreaking that our government is facilitating the exploitation of women and children,” Perkins sighed. But as guest host Jody Hice explained on Friday’s episode of “Washington Watch,” “This story certainly has been going on for years,” which only makes it that much more shocking as “new details continue to emerge that paint an absolutely heartbreaking picture of the abuse that is taking place.”

“Within the last week,” Breitbart reported, “158 unaccompanied migrant children have been sent across the Rio Grande into the small town of Eagle Pass.” These children range between the ages of five and 17 years old. According to Tara Rodas, a whistleblower who formerly worked for the Department of Health and Human Services, this crisis is not merely being allowed by the government but is being fueled by the government. “[W]hat we now know,” said Rodas, is that this “is government sponsored, taxpayer-funded child trafficking.”

“I can assure you,” she stated, “I never thought I’d be saying that.” Hice agreed, “It’s just absolutely unthinkable.” He went on to note how if it were not for whistleblowers, such as Rodas, exposing these realities, “[W]e would not even be aware of what’s been going on.” Providing further details, Rodas explained how “at the beginning of 2021, the Biden-Harris administration made a call to all federal employees,” asking them to help with the crisis of unaccompanied minors crossing the border. Rodas volunteered to offer a hand.

“I thought I was going to be coloring and doing puzzles with children,” she said. “I’m a Spanish speaker, and I thought I could be that person who would be there to greet the children and, … find out what are their plans about coming to America and living the American dream.” However, “it didn’t take very long for those illusions to evaporate,” Rodas explained, because the “children began to tell us the truth.” What those kids revealed is that many of them did not know who they were being sent to. It became clear, as Rodas described, that they were “lured here under the promise that they’re going to” get rich, only to get thrown into “modern day slavery.”

Through her first-hand experience with these children, Rodas detailed how they had “reported being sexually abused [and] being pimped out by their sponsors” — some of which “are actually gang members” from “violent criminal organizations.” It’s nothing short of “horrific,” she sighed, especially considering that taxpayer dollars are going into “vulnerable children … being shipped to known bad actors.” It’s as if we’ve become “the FedEx of children from the border to traffickers,” she lamented.

“[I]t’s a shocking story,” Rodas contended, and “people need to know about” it. “This is not humanitarian. This isn’t helping the children. They’re in slavery.” And this is why it’s appropriate to call it “government sponsored, taxpayer funded child trafficking,” Hice added, arguing how it explains how “such a horrifying thing has now become a partisan issue.” Rodas agreed, noting that “everybody should want to protect and defend children.”

Ultimately, Rodas argued, “[I]f you’re not in the box of protect and defend children … that puts you outside of all political realms.” This crisis is not a matter of red and blue, she insisted, but “we’re talking about good versus evil.” The problem is that “failed policies and policy makers” are at the heart of this “crisis because they rolled back the ability for people to come across the border,” she described. “They made it simple so that vetting is not being done. And then they opened the floodgates for these children to come across” and be taken to criminals.

It’s “unbelievable,” Hice groaned. In order to stop this crisis from getting worse, Rodas urged, “We need people who are going to put sane policies in place. We need to rescue children, and we need to seriously prosecute criminals.” And we also need people, Hice concluded, who are willing to continue putting a “spotlight on this and … deal with it courageously.”

Chicago Teachers Instructed to Pass Migrant Students Despite ‘Severe Academic Deficiencies’

Teachers in Chicago are the latest to voice their concerns over how illegal immigration is changing the landscape in America. Or in this case, how it’s shaping what’s happening in the classroom.

According to WGN Radio, teachers in the city have revealed that “they were instructed by school administrators to give their migrant students a 70 percent in every subject and pass them on to the next grade … even if their migrant students displayed severe academic deficiencies.” It appears “Chicago Public Schools CEO Pedro Martinez assured that migrant students were held to the same standards as Chicago’s American students.” However, it was only last month that a study from the University of Illinois System proved there was not much of a standard to live up to.

Even beyond the migrant students, many of whom reportedly do not speak English, numerous students throughout the city of Illinois “are still struggling to catch up academically from the learning loss that occurred when schools were forced to close” due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the study found, “[O]nly about one-fourth of all public-school students are back to pre-pandemic performance levels in English language arts while even fewer have returned to pre-pandemic levels in math.”

So, while it’s not looking good for the Chicago Public Schools as it is, teachers have further admitted that part of their orders to pass migrant students has led to “deliberately falsifying grades” — which applies to both classroom grades and academic standardized testing scores.

Sylvia Snowden, a reporter who spoke with several Chicago teachers, explained, “When the tests have been proctored, after they’ve been evaluated, the teachers are able to see the scores. And when the teachers saw the scores, they saw that the students were not at grade level, yet they were instructed to give them 70 percent in every single class, which is the minimum C and pass them on to the next grade.” When asked for an explanation, the Chicago Public Schools responded with this vague statement:

“Chicago public schools aims to provide a rigorous, welcoming, inclusive pre-K through 12 environment for all students, including those who are newly arrived in Chicago with their families from around the globe. As a district, we have high expectations for all students and policies and promotion guidelines in place that are modified to serve the specialized needs of our English language learners, and offer in school, after-school year-round interventions developed with the principal/counselor/teacher and parents to target the students described deficiencies.”

As Meg Kilgannon, senior fellow for Education Studies at Family Research Council, shared with The Washington Stand, “This report of teachers being instructed to pass students should invoke concern regardless of the type of student involved.” She emphasized that “moving underperforming students through the system robs them of their education” because “they are denied the chance to understand, comprehend, and build understanding and command of facts that build culture and the ability to contribute to society and one’s own success.”

But amid the ongoing learning issues at hand and the concerns that go with them, a quick glance at what Chicago has endured in recent years demonstrates how their education department is not the only area tainted by the border crisis.

Millions of illegal immigrants have flooded into the country and Chicago, being the self-designated sanctuary city that it is, has taken in nearly 50,000 migrants since 2022. In only two years, $400 million have gone toward funding the migrants, which has put a significant dent in the city’s money and resources. Nearly all aspects of life in Chicago have been affected by the newcomers, and allegedly, has caused city residents a great deal of frustration.

“People are angry about the lack of resources in their community,” said Richard Wallace, a man involved with organizing community affairs. “People are angry about joblessness. People are angry about the cost of living skyrocketing.”

Evidently, the decisions affecting the American education system and overall quality of life are not free from having long-lasting consequences — particularly for the younger generations, Kilgannon emphasized. Considering the failing test scores and poor learning environments, she concluded, “When Gen Z ‘quietly quits,’ they are simply following the example that was set for them by a public school system that quietly quit teaching them.”

Media Helps Reinvent Kamala in Truth-Optional Campaign

While Kamala Harris lets the mystery of her VP pick hang in the air, we don’t need to wonder who’s already on her ticket: the mainstream media. Just when Americans thought they couldn’t be surprised by the press’s bias, Harris’s candidacy has turned them into outright liars, whose in-kind donation is a blanket cover-up for every unpopular policy she’s ever endorsed. And Republicans, who are used to running against the media, have to wonder: will voters see through the scam?

From defunding the police to banning fracking — even Kamala’s assignment as border czar — the Left’s revisionist history has saturated news casts, network interviews, even fact-checkers. As National Review’s Noah Rothman bleakly put it, “The sense of euphoric inevitability that prevailed when Republicans gathered in Milwaukee for the party’s nominating convention is gone. … The Trump campaign has struggled to break into the Kamala Harris–dominated news cycle in a positive way. Republicans are resigned not just to a race against a tougher opponent but to an array of cultural and journalistic institutions acting with reckless disregard for their reputations to shield Harris from scrutiny. It’s all rather depressing.”

Harris’s dubious record is being scrubbed clean by an army of media water-carriers, who insist that GovTrack’s most liberal senator in 2019 didn’t actually mean those things she said about Medicare for All, voting rights for felons, bans on offshore drilling, and gun control. In one of the more embarrassing displays, CNN’s Daniel Dale even claimed that “Harris was never made Biden’s ‘border czar,’” adding, “In reality, Biden gave Harris a more limited immigration-related assignment.”

“I know it’s a lie. You know it’s a lie. They know it’s a lie,” Becket Adams writes. “That they never bothered to correct this three-year-old ‘misconception’ until she became the presumptive Democratic nominee gives the game away. But the all-too-obvious timing of the thing is not stopping them from trying to revise her record anyway.”

One of Joe Biden’s most feckless Cabinet officials, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, tried to deny the same reality, insisting, “Let’s be very clear about this because there has been a lot of mischaracterization. She was not in charge of the border.” Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) on MSNBC, was even more disingenuous, telling MSNBC, “She wasn’t the border czar, but, boy oh boy, did she do a great job at the border.”

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) could only shake his head. They’re all “trying to rewrite history,” he told Family Research Council President Tony Perkins on Saturday’s “This Week on the Hill.” “And you see all the left[ist] media doing this too. President Biden tapped Kamala Harris to be the border czar. She doesn’t have many jobs as vice president, and that’s one of the few things he gave her. The border is a mess. [She was told to] go figure it out. And she couldn’t do it. She wouldn’t even go down to the border for so long. She ignored this problem.”

The Left is hoping everyone forgets is that “she is for open borders,” Scalise insisted. “She’s been very vocal about wanting to legalize people who just roam into the country and giv[e] them free stuff. And by the way, it’s angering most people in America.” The media is “going to try to change history. Sorry,” the House leader said. “They’re not going to be able to get away with it.”

And yet, as Rothman pointed out, “There is no pressure on the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee to sit for interviews, hold press conferences, or even merely speak extemporaneously for more than a few sentences. Even what may be Harris’s foremost vulnerability — her inauthenticity — is presented as an asset.” His colleague, Rich Lowry, thinks this is the natural outgrowth of the press “elevat[ing] her from also-ran vice president to savior of the republic in the space of about 12 hours a couple of weekends ago.” Now, trusting that the press won’t challenge her on anything she says, Harris has the audacity to claim she’s the tough one on immigration.

At an Atlanta rally, Biden’s vice president actually said, “I will proudly put my record against his any day of the week. Any day of the week, including, for example, on the issue of immigration. … Donald Trump,” she continued, “has been talking a big game about securing our border. But he does not walk the walk.”

As Lowry bemoans, Harris’s “sociopathic dishonesty” on the border “has not been met with a flurry of fact checks, nor have editors been zealously adding the word ‘falsely’ in front of her claims. No, she’s flipping the script, and going on offense, and punching back.” So why not “try to get it to swallow an even more outlandishly implausible notion?” he wondered.

But how long can Kamala outrun the facts as troves of videos, soundbites, and speeches burn down the straw woman the press has built? “As we get closer to November,” Scalise warned, there are three issues that are “crystallizing everywhere you go. And number one — far and away — is the border. People want to get this border secured. It’s madness what’s going on at the border, and that comes up no matter what part of the country you’re in.”

And as the stock market freefalls, images like Harris in 2023 saying she’s “very proud of Bidenomics” will be hard even for the magicians of the media to erase. As Scalise says, the second biggest issue on voters’ minds is “inflation, the cost of things.” “And whatever part of the country you go into, they’re complaining about grocery prices. They’re complaining about gas prices and energy prices, [and] just cooling their home in the summer. I mean, these are problems that were created by the Biden-Harris administration. Everybody knows that. … [T]his is where Kamala Harris is going to have a real problem. She was with Joe Biden helping be the architect [of these policies]. Look, she was the deciding vote for the Inflation Reduction Act. She can’t run away from these things — the policies that created the inflation, that when you go to the grocery store, you’re paying 30% more than when Biden took office.”

Add that to the explosive situation in the Middle East, and frankly, the House’s second-in-command warned, “I don’t remember a time when America’s projected so much weakness to so many of our friends around the world. …You see what Russia did with Ukraine. You see what Iran, through their proxies — Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis — have done to Israel. And then, of course, you see what China is doing to allies like Taiwan. So all of our enemies are taking advantage of the weakness being projected.”

How does this affect the Democrats’ replacement candidate? Well, as Scalise reminded people, “Kamala has really no record on the world stage, except for the Biden agenda. And the Biden-Harris agenda in foreign policy has been walking away from Israel, projecting weakness, allowing our military to be more focused on wokeness, which is not the preparedness we need to deal with the threat that China and other countries pose. So it’s a dangerous place right now, and we’re in a much more dangerous position because of the weakness projected by Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. And I think that’s going to be a big factor knowing how strong President Trump was. [There were] no new wars when Donald Trump was president. Our friends knew that we had their back. And we did, by the way, have their back because we weren’t letting the bad guys run roughshod around the world.”

So the Left’s strategy is simple: change the subject. “They really are going to be focused on how they can divide the American people between now and November 5th, because they don’t want the American people talking about the issues people care about. … And the reason that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden don’t want to talk about it is because those problems were created by Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. The inflation, high energy prices, open border, all of those are self-created problems by the Biden-Harris ticket. And again, you go back four years ago, we did not have those problems.”

When it comes to Harris’s campaign, “They’re going to want to talk about abortion every day. They’re going to want to talk about mandating [electric vehicles], and January 6th. And the American people are saying, ‘Look, I’ve got real problems that you helped create. And I want to talk about those problems.’”

House Passes Bill Aiming To Keep Illegal Immigrants From Voting

The House passed a bill on Wednesday that requires proof of U.S. citizenship for voter registration.

The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act is an amendment to the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 that requires proof of citizenship “to register an individual to vote in elections for Federal office,” according to the bill text. The bill, which was introduced by Republican Rep. Chip Roy of Texas, passed the House 221-198.

Five Democrats joined with Republicans to pass the bill.

“We will only be able to keep this republic as a republic as long as our citizenship as Americans remains meaningful,” Roy said in a press release following the bill’s passage. “That’s why I introduced the SAVE Act in the first place, and it’s why the People’s House passed it today.”

The bill establishes criminal penalties for election officials who register voters without enforcing the requirement to provide proof of U.S. citizenship. Additionally, the bill requires noncitizens to be removed from official lists of eligible voters.

The Biden Administration released a statement in opposition to the bill on Monday, claiming that states “already have effective safeguards in place to verify voter’s eligibility and maintain accuracy of voter rolls.”

“This bill would do nothing to safeguard our elections, but it would make it much harder for all eligible Americans to register to vote and increase the risk that eligible voters are purged from voter rolls,” the White House said. “The evidence is clear that the current laws to prevent noncitizen voting are working as intended — it is extraordinarily rare for noncitizens to break the law by voting in Federal elections.”

Speaker Mike Johnson said on Tuesday that Democrats are trying to “mislead” Americans about election integrity efforts because “they want illegals to vote in our elections.”

“They’re claiming to oppose the bill because they say it’s going to make it harder to vote,” Johnson said during a press conference. “But they know that that is not true. Many of the Democrats want all of these illegals to participate in our federal elections. They want them to vote. There’s no other conclusion that you could draw. When the White House announced that they would veto the bill they effectively handed our elections over to all of these illegal aliens that have come here.”

California Rep. Jennifer McClellan said on Wednesday that the bill is “the 2024 version of the Jim Cow poll tax.”

“Let me be clear, they don’t want you to vote. ” Democratic Rep. Summer Lee of Pennsylvania said during a floor speech. “They don’t want to hear black voices, brown voices, LGBTQIA voices, young voices. Our fundamental access to our democracy is being politicized. And this xenophobic attack that we are debating today will make it harder for Americans to vote.”

The bill was cosponsored by over 100 Republican lawmakers including House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida, Rep. Tim Burchett of Tennessee and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida.

PODCAST: 15 House Democrats Call on Biden to Take Border Executive Action!

A group of House Democrats facing a tough campaign cycle have called on President Biden to take executive action on the United States’ border with Mexico. The legislators from Minnesota, Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Michigan, among other states, urged Biden in a letter first obtained by CBS News to “immediately take further action to restore order at the Southern border and fix our broken immigration system.”

Mr. Biden has faced harsh criticism from Republicans and from some within his own party over his approach to immigration and the border ahead of November’s general election. That dynamic is playing out as Mr. Biden runs against former President Donald Trump, his presumptive Republican challenger, for another term.

Biden’s Latest Amnesty Plan Will ‘Normalize Lawlessness’: Senator

The Democratic Party took another step toward the goal of creating a permanent governing majority in the United States on Tuesday, as President Joe Biden announced a mass amnesty for more than half-a-million illegal immigrants — a move one U.S. senator said aims “to make certain that Democrats are in charge for the rest of our lifetimes.”

Biden’s executive action would grant any illegal immigrant married to a U.S. citizen and resident in the U.S. for at least 10 years the privilege of “Parole in Place” (PIP) — remaining in the United States rather than facing deportation, as required by federal law. It then puts them on a path to citizenship. They can also receive a green card during the three years in which they may apply for lawful permanent resident status, allowing them to take jobs in the U.S. economy legally. Current law already allows the spouses of American citizens to apply for citizenship, but they must return to their home country while completing the process. Tuesday’s action applies to an estimated 500,000 adults, as well as 50,000 stepchildren under the age of 21 living with American citizens.

It is not clear how many illegal immigrants who identify as homosexual and contracted a legal same-sex marriage with a U.S. citizen would benefit from the program.

The latest action proves that Biden “will defy the Supreme Court. He will defy Congress. He will defy the rule of law,” said Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) on “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” Monday. “He’s going to do it and wait for somebody to challenge him. … You cannot execute an immigration law change without coming to Congress.”

Experts say Biden has no constitutional authority to unilaterally confer citizenship, and the move also violates statutory law. Under section 212(d)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, “Parole in Place” has only been recognized for the immediate relatives of enlisted soldiers or veterans.

“Rather than stopping the worst border crisis in history, President Biden has overreached his executive authority to use an unconstitutional process, circumventing voters and their elected representatives in Congress, to send a message that amnesty is available to those who enter illegally into the United States,” said James Massa, CEO of the immigration watchdog group NumbersUSA, in a statement emailed to The Washington Stand. “The action is unconstitutional. The timing is unconscionable.”

Biden’s executive amnesty announcement came 12 years to the day that President Barack Obama instituted the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. After Congress refused to pass the DREAM Act, which would have provided amnesty for those who came to the United States illegally as children, Obama took executive actions that treated the bill as if it were law.

Republicans have accused the Obama and Biden administrations of favoring illegal immigrants over U.S. citizens, from the subways of New York City to the railroads of East Palestine, Ohio.

“The story of Dreamers is a story of America,” asserted Vice President Kamala Harris this week. “Lawmakers must pass legislation that creates a path to citizenship.” For his part, Biden declared, “I am committed to providing Dreamers the support they need to succeed,” boasting that last month his administration “took the historic step of expanding access to affordable, quality health coverage to DACA recipients through the Affordable Care Act.”

“Joe Biden wants to be the president of illegal aliens, but I will be the president for law-abiding Americans — every race, religion, color and creed,” said President Donald Trump, who has promised to invalidate the agreement and initiate mass deportations. “When I am elected, Joe Biden’s illegal amnesty will be ripped up and thrown out on the very first day we are back in office,” he told a raucous crowd in Racine, Wisconsin, Tuesday evening.

The White House “fact sheet” on the law-evading action claims, “President Biden believes that securing the border is essential.” Yet his administration ushered in an era of unprecedented illegal immigration, with millions of unlawful crossings taking place each year.

Analysts say his plan incentivizes additional illegal immigration and opens the U.S. to massive fraud. “Any system in which illegal entrants are rewarded to the detriment of foreign nationals doing it ‘the right way’ is a bad one, and that is what the administration is setting up,” wrote Andrew Arthur of the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS). The scheme’s 10-year residency requirement “is an invitation to fraud as spouses of U.S. citizens who have been here for briefer periods will start scrambling to collect (and create) documents to show longer terms of presence — and to cover up subsequent departures.”

Many of the provisions seem unworkable, say its opponents. Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) asked who is going to verify whether the stepchildren covered by the action lived in the United States during the period of eligibility on Tuesday’s “Washington Watch.”

Biden, who trails Trump in the polling, is “trying to put up barriers so it’ll make it harder” to carry out mass deportations and return the rule of law, said Norman. “But that’s what’s got to happen.” Nearly two-thirds (62%) of Americans now favor deporting every illegal immigrant in America, according to a CBS/YouGov poll taken earlier this month.

Biden and the Democratic Party have “tried to normalize lawlessness,” said Blackburn. “And what happens when you try to normalize this lawlessness? You end up with chaos.”

“All of this is part of their goal to begin to legalize illegal immigrants before we get to November, because they want their votes, and they want them to count in the census,” Blackburn told Perkins. Including non-citizens in the U.S. Census redistributes eight congressional seats, mostly from Republican-leaning states to Democratic ones, according to CIS. “This is how they’re planning to backfill the population that they’ve been losing from big blue states and big blue cities.”

“They’re doing anything they can to collect power and to centralize power within the federal government, with them in charge. They’re trying to make certain that Democrats are in charge for the rest of our lifetimes,” said Blackburn.

As if to prove Blackburn’s assessment, Democrats in swing states greeted Biden’s executive amnesty in starkly partisan terms. “The road to the White House runs through Nevada, and people in my state are paying attention,” said Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.).

Although critics often conflate any discussion of changing demographics with a purportedly racist “Great Replacement” conspiracy theory, far-left progressives long latched onto mass amnesty as their path to permanent political power. A Service Employees International Union leader and honorary chair of the Democratic Socialists of America Eliseo Medina spelled out the plan during a left-wing conference:

“If we reform the immigration laws — it puts 12 million people on the path to citizenship and eventually voters. Can you imagine if you had even the same ratio, two out of three [Hispanics voting for Democrats], if we get 8 million new voters that care about our issue and will be voting, we will create a governing coalition for the long-term, not just for an election cycle?”

Medina merely repeated an electoral theory going back at least to the 2002 book “The Emerging Democratic Majority” by John Judis and Ruy Teixeira. Salon magazine cited the “Latino realignment” in a 2008 article titled “A Permanent Democratic Majority?”

“Through this sweeping executive action, which has no grounding in federal law, the president is illegally claiming the power to bypass Congress’ plenary authority over immigration policy in pursuit of a political goal as the president faces reelection,” said Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).

Norman said the issue goes far beyond Biden to the core of his administration. “The ones who rule him are pretty well set to control this country through illegals voting,” he told Perkins.

The Democratic administration’s simmering indifference to border security has led to numerous tragedies, including a string of violent and sadistic crimes against American citizens. New York City police Tuesday arrested Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, a 25-year-old illegal immigrant from Ecuador, for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl. That came just days after Oklahoma police apprehended 23-year-old illegal immigrant Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez for raping and murdering Rachel Morin, a mother of five. Police said the accused perpetrator fled his native El Salvador after committing another homicide.

Such incidents dot every corner of the United States. “South Carolina’s already been affected,” said Norman. “Every state in the country has.”

“But Biden doesn’t care about the American lives that will forever be destroyed by the illegal criminals he is importing; and Biden doesn’t care that law-abiding taxpayers, crushed by inflation, are forced to pay for free food, housing, and healthcare for illegals,” said the Trump campaign’s national press secretary, Karoline Leavitt.

America’s porous border increasingly threatens national security. Officials recently nabbed eight illegal immigrants from Tajikistan who had ties to ISIS. Officers had originally caught them at the border, but then released them in accordance with Biden administration norms before the FBI eventually tracked them down.

The possibility of a serious terrorist attack on U.S. soil is “no longer speculative,” Rep. Mike Turner (R-Ohio) told “Face the Nation” Sunday, “no longer hypothetical.”

Conservatives say if the open border policies continue, Americans risk losing their liberties, as well as their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.

“If we lose this election, then our freedom, our sovereignty, our democracy will go down the tubes,” said Norman. “Another four years of this administration, and we will have lost every freedom we’ve had.”

National Security Implications of Accepting Unvetted Migrants into the U.S.

On June 11, reports of eight Tajikistanis with suspected ties to ISIS-K, among the deadliest branches of ISIS, were arrested in New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia, after crossing the southern border into the United States. No national security issues were discovered when handled by the Department of Homeland Security and they were subsequently released into the country.

Later, authorities discovered the suspected ties to ISIS-K through a wiretap. A DHS official told CBS News that the eight illegal aliens crossed into the United States without proper documentation and were given notices to appear in immigration court.

This latest incident shows yet again the disastrous consequences of admitting unvetted migrants into the country, even as the Biden White House floats the possibility of the United States accepting some number of Palestinian refugees.

There are significant security reasons why no Muslim country will accept Palestinian refugees, especially Gaza’s closest neighbors, Jordan and Egypt. This also applies to wealthy Arab countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE.

Why then would the Biden administration import tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees from Gaza into our already struggling communities which have been forced to accept almost ten million illegal aliens from some 150 countries since 2021, including those engaged in or supporting terrorism?

In 2015, the United States admitted thousands of Syrian refugees, many of which possessed no identification documents. Because of the war in Syria, the United States government had no access to Syrian birth records, criminal or intelligence records, or any other identifying background information. The Department of Homeland Security and immigration officials had no way of identifying or knowing who these refugees were or their history. If a Syrian seeking refugee status in the United States was allied with ISIS, Al Qaeda or any other terrorist organization, immigration officials had little way of discovering that information. This problem was exacerbated by the fact that refugees seeking refugee status in the United States and without identification documents could and most likely did, give a false name to immigration officials, and the officials were unable to discover the falsehood.

During that same time, then Director of the FBI, James B. Comey, summed up the problem when he told Congress, “We can query our database until the cows come home, but nothing will show up because we have no record of them.”

The Assistant Director of the FBI Counterterrorism Division expressed the same concerns, explaining “it’s not that we have a lack of process, it’s that there’s a lack of information.”

There should be no doubt that terror organizations have and will exploit the refugee program, either by sending terror cells to the United States or by supporting and recruiting refugees who are already in the U.S.

Again, in 2021, the United States allowed tens of thousands of refugees from Afghanistan to migrate to the U. S. The takeover of the country by the Taliban and other terrorist groups, along with civil unrest, resulted in the destruction of many governmental buildings and important records. The lack of a physical U.S. presence and diplomatic relations with a legitimate Afghan government, greatly inhibits the ability to conventionally vet prospective refugees from Afghanistan. Many of these refugees are claiming asylum without any identification documents.

We are now on the cusp of shooting ourselves in the foot again, by allowing tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees from Gaza, without adequate vetting, into the United States. Hamas runs the government in Gaza and all governmental agencies. The State Department is always quick to say that they have a “robust vetting process” that they will require these refugees to successfully complete. But how can anyone believe that statement in light of the evidence that they will not have direct access to Hamas’ records and documents?  Are we going to add tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees to assist the pro-Palestine, pro-Hamas students already on our university campuses?

Federal law enforcement can collect and conduct biometric security checks on these migrants from Gaza, but if they have not been handled or investigated previously, then they will not have anything to compare against.

During the 2015 Syrian influx of refugees, several of our top security officials expressed serious national security concerns:

  • John Brennan, Director, Central Intelligence Agency: “I think it makes it even more incumbent on the security and intelligence professionals to make sure that we are able to look at individuals who are coming into this country with an eye toward what it is that we might know about individuals or ways that terrorist organizations might try to secret people into these networks, into these refugee flows…”(11/18/2015)
  • James B. Comey, Director, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Justice: “We can only query against that which we have collected. And so, if someone has not made a ripple in the pond in Syria on a way that would get their identity or their interests reflected in our databases, we can query our databases until the cows come home but nothing will show up because we have no record of that person…you can only query what you have collected.” (10/21/2015)
  • James B. Comey, Director, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Justice: “There is risk associated with bringing anybody in from the outside, but especially from a conflict zone like Syria…My concern there is that there are certain gaps I don’t want to talk about publicly in the data available to us.” (10/8/2015)
  • Jeh C. Johnson, Secretary, U.S. Department of Homeland Security: “It is true that we are not going to know a whole lot about the Syrians that come forth in this process…That is definitely a challenge…We know that organizations like ISIL might like to exploit this program…The good news is that we are better at vetting than we were eight years ago. The bad news is that there is no risk-free process.” (11-16-2015)
  • Nicholas J. Rasmussen, Director, National Counterterrorism Center, Office of the Director of National Intelligence: “The intelligence picture we’ve had of this [Syrian] conflict zone isn’t what we’d like it to be…you can only review against what you have.” (10-8-2015)
  • General (Retired) James Clapper, Director, Director of National Intelligence: “As [Syrian refugees] descend on Europe, one of the obvious issues that we worry about, and in turn as we bring refugees into this country, is exactly what’s their background? We don’t obviously put it past the likes of ISIL to infiltrate operatives among these refugees…That is a huge concern of ours.” (9/9/20145)
  • Michael Steinbach, Assistant Director for the Federal Bureau of Investigation: “You have to have information to vet, so the concern in Syria is that we don’t have the systems in places on the ground to collect information.” (2/12/2015)

If the refugee is a security risk, what information does the government have or access to compare with? How will the government know if the refugee has or had connections to terrorists or supporters of terror? How will the government know if the refugee has outstanding criminal matters or criminal records?  How will the government know if the refugee is or has been a terrorist?

Gaza is governed by Hamas. Hamas is made up of primarily Palestinians. Polls reflect that a majority of Palestinians support the 7 October 2023 attack on Israel and support the elimination of the Jews. How many of the Palestinian people agree that Israel deserves to exist? No one will believe that our security officials will be able to call 1-800-Hamas to check on the background, ideology or belief system of a Palestinian refugee from Gaza. Will our security officials be checking non-existent databases for negative information?

The perpetual state of Middle East unrest, migrancy, release of prisoners and potential influx of foreign fighters, coupled with the absence of reliable, accessible government records, reduces the vetting process to primarily one-on-one interviews, which is only one leg of the background stool and by no means a “robust process.”

With no substantial vetting process or capability to determine friend or foe we will be inviting calamity to our country. This is a serious national security and safety concern, and we need to remember that ISIS has for months been calling for their operatives to strike within the U.S. and Europe. We should not add to the threats. Recently, FBI Director Christopher Wray warned, “Now increasingly concerning is the potential for a coordinated attack here in the homeland, akin to the ISIS-K attack we saw at the Russia Concert Hall.” The attack on the Russia Concert Hall resulted in 133 dead and 145 injured.

We must close our borders and completely relook at the “vetting” process. If we can’t vet people coming into our country, then we should not let them in, period.

Strong leadership is needed now to properly frame this issue and awaken the American people to the potential catastrophe that lies ahead. Congress and every state must take decisive action now to halt this insane migration of illegal and unvetted persons.

A Week in and ‘Biden’s Border Move Has Already Failed’: Media

So much for a Biden border crackdown. Already, people on the ground are calling the president’s “fix” a joke, pointing to the 10,000 migrants in custody from last Thursday — four times the phony limit set by the White House. “And the inflows keep coming,” The New York Post editorial board wrote in collective disgust. Barely a week in and “Biden’s BS border move has already failed,” they argue.

The supposed “crackdown” is “a total fake,” the editors insist — and the last few days seem to prove it. In the southwest, Border Patrol announced an apprehension rate of 2,600 in just three sectors (San Diego, Tucson, and Del Rio). Look, Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) told reporters, we all know this order is a joke. “This executive order will do nothing but further an invasion into our country, inviting thousands of unvetted illegal immigrants to cross the border every single day — the exact opposite of shutting down the border.”

Worse, he points out, the policy “essentially legalizes the millions of illegal immigrants already in our country and allows thousands more to illegally cross our southern border daily.”

Even the president’s media cheerleaders are panning the administration’s insincere response. On ABC’s “This Week,” host Martha Raddatz was openly incredulous with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, insisting that it was “very hard” to call President Biden’s actions at the border a “success” when 6.5 million illegal immigrants have been caught on the southern border.

And if Democrats think this lawlessness is helping them with their base, they’re mistaken. A CBS/YouGov poll from this past week showed that 62% of voters support “a new national program to deport all undocumented immigrants currently living in the U.S. illegally” — including a majority of Hispanics (53%) and almost 40% of the president’s party. Former President Donald Trump played to that strength during a campaign stop in Phoenix on Thursday. “Biden wants an invasion,” Trump said, “I want deportation.”

As far as House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) is concerned, this issue could very well be the president’s undoing. It was “interesting,” he told Family Research Council President Tony Perkins on Saturday’s edition of “This Week on the Hill,” that Biden had spent the last several months “assur[ing] the American people there was nothing he could do.” And yet, “On many occasions I met with the president,” the speaker explained. “I read him the legal authorities [he has]. I handed him a summary of all the executive action that he could take under the existing federal statutes to solve the crisis that he himself created. Remember,” he pointed out, “we documented 64 specific executive actions that Joe Biden and Secretary Mayorkas took … to open the border wide. They did it intentionally,” Johnson argued. “And for him to now feign as though he’s concerned about [it] … that he wants to fix it is just pure politics.”

How do we know that? Because, as Johnson and others point out, what Biden did won’t solve the problem. In fact, the speaker insists, “it might actually make it worse … because he’s now sent the signal that if you’re among the first 2,500 illegals every day, you get a free pass. … The whole policy is crazy.” It does not, as he highlighted, end the catch-and-release program or reinstate Trump’s hugely effective Remain in Mexico policy. “It has created a catastrophe for the country that we are going to be dealing with for decades. [And] now, just a few weeks before the first debate and on the eve of the election … he wants to be able to go out and tell people that, ‘Oh, gosh, I tried to do something.’” And yet, Johnson went on, “he won’t ever acknowledge that he is the one that created the catastrophe.”

Now his party is divided, the speaker warned, because they’ve effectively created an “open borders caucus.” Worse, his campaign is dealing with the political fallout of openly defying federal law. “He has a real problem,” Johnson said of Biden. “This past week I was in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin doing events. [The crowds] are not [just] normal Republican voters. They’re new people,” the Louisiana leader explained. It’s all part of the “demographic shift going on in the country” that’s pulling Hispanics, African-American voters, and the Jewish community into the GOP camp.

“[T]they see no alternative,” Johnson pointed out. “They understand that Joe Biden has wrecked the country and turned his back on their interest and their security and their ability to put groceries on the table. All these things are going to have a huge effect in November. And I think … the Republican Party is going to have a great election year.”

ACLU Unveils Plans To Obstruct Trump’s Immigration Agenda

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) on Thursday announced an outline of its plans to oppose former President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda if he’s elected in November.

The ACLU plans to use a combination of legal challenges, lobbying and coordination with liberal officials to obstruct Trump’s plans to reduce illegal immigration, which they characterize as both unethical and illegal, according to a memo released by the organization. During Trump’s first term, the ACLU helped to block several of the former president’s moves regarding immigration, such as his attempt to weaken the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program.

“If given a second term, Donald Trump promises to decimate American communities by targeting immigrants who are already contributing members of society and blocking new immigrants from coming lawfully to the United States,” the memo states. The ACLU goes on to claim that Trump will seek mass deportations, attack birthright citizenship, try to restrict illegal immigrants from accessing public services, separate children from their families and “attack human rights at the border.”

“Litigation will be a critical component” of the ACLU’s planned response to a potential second Trump administration, according to the memo.

If Trump attempted to arrest large numbers of illegal aliens in service of mass deportations, for instance, the ACLU would take the administration to court for violating the Fourth Amendment’s prohibition on unreasonable searches and seizures due to racial profiling. Programs like those proposed by Trump “result in racial profiling, suspicionless interrogations and arrests, unjustified and pretextual traffic stops, and warrantless searches of workplaces and homes—all of which violate the Constitution,” according to the ACLU.

T

The ACLU plans to “work with coalition partners” in Congress to leverage the budget process to impede Trump’s deportation plans. Congress acting to limit Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s removal operations budget is one example the ACLU offers for using appropriations to make deporting illegal immigrants more difficult.

The ACLU will also deploy lobbyists to Congress to advocate for limiting where Customs and Border Protection agents can operate.

At the state levelthe ACLU will urge states to deny federal authorities access to law enforcement resources, encourage governors to pardon criminal illegal aliens to prevent them from being deported, lobby state legislatures to allow illegal aliens to obtain driver’s licenses and ask states to pay the legal fees of illegal immigrants facing deportation.

The ACLU joins a list of groups, including Protect Democracy, the Institution for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection at Georgetown University and Democracy Forward in preparing strategies to obstruct a potential second Trump administration. The Biden administration appears concerned about the possibility of a second Trump term, taking measures to protect the jobs of bureaucrats amid the former president’s plans to restructure the administrative state.

Trump’s proposed border actions are relatively popular, with 51% of Americans, including 45% of Latinos, supporting the mass deportation of illegal immigrants, according to an Axios poll released in April. A May poll from Decision Desk HQ/News Nation found that 46% of voters prefer Trump to handle the border, compared to just 26% who think Biden would do a better job.

The presidential race is close, with Trump just half a point ahead of Biden as of Thursday in RealClearPolitics’ polling average. Trump has, in recent months, been leading in polls of battleground states, though some recent polls show Biden beginning to close the gap with Trump in some key states.

The ACLU is also suing Biden over his recent executive order restricting asylum claims at the border, Axios reported.

The ACLU did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

IMPEACH: Biden Regime Gives ‘Mass Amnesty’ to 350,000 Illegal Aliens

The Biden regime is quietly granting mass amnesty to illegal aliens, terminating 350,000 asylum cases without due process.

Biden Admin Gives ‘Mass Amnesty,’ NY Post Reports

By Eric Mack, NewsMax, 02 June 2024 04:22 PM EDT

The Biden administration is boasting its border policies are now cutting illegal immigration, but a new report has exposed a veritable shell game that is effectively covering its “mass amnesty” designs by making the numbers of asylum cases disappear.

More than 350,000 migrants cases have “terminated without a decision on the merits of their asylum claim” by the Biden administration if individuals did not have a criminal record or were not deemed a threat, the New York Post reported Sunday.

Those illegals are removed from the legal record and are not required to check in with authorities, allowing illegals to live “indefinitely” in the U.S. without fear of deportation.

“This is just a massive amnesty under the guise of prosecutorial discretion,” Center for Immigration Studies’ Andrew Arthur, a former immigration judge, told the Post.

“You’re basically allowing people who don’t have a right to be in the United States to be here indefinitely.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials confirmed the clandestine operation to the Post, urging the exposure of the increase of disappearing asylum cases.

“If the migrants, who ICE no longer controls or monitors, commit crimes after the dismissal, ICE will have to start all over and issue a new Notice to Appear in court and start the clock all over again,” an unnamed ICE officer told the Post.

“It’s starting to increase,” a second ICE officer told paper. “Please let everyone know what’s really going on.”

It “happens all the time,” a third ICE officer told the Post.

Understanding the Democrats’ Immigration Strategy

The prevailing perceptions are wrong, and the truth is frightening. The U.S. immigration system isn’t simply broken. It’s an unmitigated train wreck, all cars off the rails spewing poison into the nation’s atmosphere, but not by the people or for the reasons most people think.

The Democrats’ unrelenting focus on immigration, particularly the issue of uncontrolled immigration, is cause for concern that goes beyond mere debate and speculation. Beneath the surface, posturing lies a deception that extends beyond the mere games of representation and power in the United States.

The Democrats’ emphasis on immigration is not a mere coincidence or a short-term political maneuver. Rather, it is deeply rooted in their long-term vision of reshaping the demographic and political landscape of the United States. By advocating for more inclusive immigration policies, the Democrats aim to solidify their support base and gain a strategic advantage in future elections.

  1. Shaping the Electorate: The Democrats recognize that the changing demographics of the United States will profoundly impact its electoral landscape. By supporting policies that are perceived as welcoming to immigrants, the party aims to cultivate support among minority communities who are more likely to vote Democrat. Additionally, the party seeks to appeal to younger voters who are generally more open to immigration and diversity.
  2. Expanding Political Influence: The Democrats’ immigration strategy is also intricately linked to increasing their political influence. By advocating for pathways to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, the party aims to tap into a potential pool of future voters who may be more inclined to support Democrat candidates in gratitude for their efforts toward legalization. This strategy could have significant implications in swing states with substantial immigrant populations.
  3. Addressing Social Justice Concerns: The Democrats’ emphasis on immigration is not solely driven by electoral considerations; it also aligns with their commitment to social justice and human rights. The party champions the idea of America as a nation built on immigration, where diversity and inclusivity are celebrated. By championing comprehensive immigration reform, the Democrats aim to address the plight of undocumented immigrants, promote family reunification, and provide opportunities for economic mobility.
  4. Countering Republican Narratives: The Democrats’ focus on immigration also serves as a counter-narrative to the Republican party’s stance on the issue. By presenting themselves as advocates for immigrant rights, the Democrats aim to differentiate themselves from their conservative counterparts and appeal to moderate voters who may have concerns about the Republican party’s strict immigration policies.

The upcoming census, slated for 2030, looms large in the political landscape. This decennial event isn’t just a tally of citizens; it encompasses every individual residing within the country’s borders, irrespective of legal status. Here lies the crux of the Democrats’ strategic calculus.

Illegal immigrants, who often gravitate towards urban centers, play a pivotal role in this strategy. As they settle predominantly in cities, they significantly influence the population count in these areas. The ramifications of this extend far beyond mere statistics.

At the heart of the matter is the allocation of seats in the House of Representatives. Representation in the House is determined by population size, as derived from the census. By bolstering the urban population through immigration, particularly illegal immigration, Democrats strategically tilt the scales in their favor.

The consequence? Cities, which traditionally lean Democrat, gain disproportionate representation in Congress. Even if surrounding rural areas maintain conservative leanings, their voices are diluted by the overwhelming weight of urban populations.

This grand strategy isn’t solely about the present moment but has implications for years to come. By strategically harnessing immigration, Democrats aim to solidify their political stronghold in key urban centers, thereby exerting significant influence on national politics.

However, every strategy has its counter play. The specter of mass deportations emerges as the flip side of the immigration coin. Mass deportations, if implemented over the next five years, could potentially disrupt this carefully constructed strategy.

Yet, the Democrats’ focus remains resolute. They recognize the long-term implications of immigration on political power dynamics and are keenly positioning themselves to leverage this demographic shift to their advantage.

By prioritizing immigration and advocating for more inclusive policies, the Democrats aim to shape or rather reshape the electorate. Therefore, it’s crucial to understand the underlying motivations and strategies at play. For the Democrats, the focus on uncontrolled immigration isn’t merely about humanitarian concerns or ideological stances – it’s a calculated move in a larger game of political chess, one that seeks to shape the very landscape of American governance for years to come.

Wisconsin Investigators: Illegals Flooding the Voter Rolls in Swing States

You don’t think these totalitarian destroyers are going to go quietly, do you? They are power without accountability, merciless, wild criminals and in-your-face oath breakers without fear of the law or punishment.

They operate with impunity.

It’s going to get worse. Much worse.

Wisconsin Investigators Allege Illegal Aliens Are Flooding the Voter Rolls in Swing States

By:  Guest Contributor Jay Valentine at The Gateway Pundit. Mar. 24, 2024

Leftist election fraud happens every 2 year cycle – it just happens a little differently each time.

Story continues below advertisement

In 2024, the unique new fraud scheme – demonstrated in the data – at scale, in multiple states – now – is allegedly registering illegal aliens, flown in via the Biden Express, delivered to newly formed homeless addresses – then sending the migrants on their way – and collecting their ballots – and voting them.

This was discovered by the Wisconsin team – using INNOVATION.

This is happening at super scale – think hundreds of thousands already – it is completely invisible to all current relational technology. It is equally invisible to the RINO bunch telling you to vote early, ballot harvest and do not question elections.

The only difference is in 2024, the Wisconsin team found it early – and has a successful, tried and proven strategy to fight it.

Here’s the scam.

Religious NGO’s (non-governmental orgs) like Catholic, Lutheran and other types of do-gooders collaborate with the Biden administration to take those migrants – the ones who arrive by plane – into the heartland – and then allegedly register them.

The details are fascinating. These NGOs set up addresses that seem like homeless shelters – but aren’t – they are migrant ballot registration collection points. Some are just offices in crappy strip malls.

We know because we drill into the actual address photos. Watch our videos on Omega4America.com.

The migrants show up, get a phone, gift cards worth several grand, get registered to vote.

In Wisconsin, for instance, there is a Form EL-131.

Form EL-131 says if you are homeless, check the box. You can register to vote with no supporting ID.

For you election deniers, and Republican types – read this slowly so you can comprehend this madness.

In a swing state, one of 7 that will determine the next leader of the free world – today – using Form EL-131, anyone with a heartbeat can register to vote with no ID, as long as they check the box that says “homeless.”

Or someone can do it for them! What can go wrong?

This is what the Republican Party allowed to happen – bending over and taking it – with literally zero push back.

Biden Uses the State of the Union Address to Blame Congress for a Border Crisis He Does Not Want to Solve

Washington, D.C. — Instead of taking responsibility for the border crisis and changing course, President Biden used tonight’s State of the Union address to blame the border crisis on Congress’ failure to enact flimsy and meaningless legislation, charged the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).

Indeed, President Biden, who has spent the past three years denying that we have a crisis and refusing to enforce countless laws, claimed tonight that he is powerless to act. The president told the American people he lacks the legal authority to secure our borders and enforce our immigration laws. He further accused Congress – particularly Republicans – of killing a Senate bill that he claimed would have rectified the crisis that has made illegal immigration the top issue on the minds of American voters.

“The truth is, President Biden has had all the authority he needs to end the border crisis that has been raging since January 20, 2021,” stated Dan Stein, president of FAIR. “But instead of enforcing the law, he and his impeached Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, have willfully ignored or subverted countless statutes, systematically dismantled the immigration enforcement capacity of agencies dedicated to that purpose, and canceled existing policies that deterred illegal immigration and asylum fraud.

“Moreover, by pointing to the failed Senate bill, President Biden willfully misled the American people about what is needed to end this crisis,” Stein continued. “The Senate bill is not the solution. The bill authored by Senators Lankford, Murphy, and Sinema would have actually codified illegal immigration at historically high levels, exacerbating threats to national security and the costs to American taxpayers.

“If Biden wants a secure border, all he has to do is uphold his constitutional oath to enforce the law. If he wants Congress to give him additional, meaningful authority, then he should urge Congress to pass H.R. 2, the Secure the Border Act. That bill — a serious immigration enforcement bill — has already passed the House of Representatives. H.R. 2 closes all of the loopholes that President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas have exploited to create the crisis he now acknowledges, and provides the resources and manpower necessary to ensure the security of the nation. Nevertheless, the Democratic-controlled Senate, with the support of the president’s administration, is blocking that bill from being enacted.

“It is clear from the president’s address that he does not want to solve this crisis. Rather he is intent on shifting blame for the humanitarian, public safety and national security crisis that was created by his administration,” Stein concluded.

The anatomy of the illegal immigration crisis and why the Senate bill would not solve it:

Beginning on his first day in office, President Biden and his administration have:

  • Canceled construction of the border wall, including sections already paid for by American taxpayers.
  • Canceled the Migrant Protection Protocols, aka Remain in Mexico, which required migrants seeking asylum to wait in Mexico while their claims were pending.
  • Canceled the Asylum Cooperative Agreements with Central American governments, which required migrants passing through those countries to seek asylum in the first safe country they arrived in.
  • Reinstated catch-and-release policies, under which more than 85 percent of illegal aliens encountered at the southern border are allowed to enter the country.
  • Refused to utilize available detention beds to hold illegal aliens.
  • Created massive and illegal parole programs that have allowed entry of millions of otherwise inadmissible aliens.
  • Crafted policies that expressly limit removal of illegal aliens to only the most hardened and dangerous criminals and terrorists.

Top ten reasons why the Senate bill would not end the border and illegal immigration crisis:

  • The primary reason we have a crisis on our southern border is because the Biden administration is releasing illegal aliens instead of detaining and removing them. Yet, the Senate border bill does not restrict the government’s ability to release illegal aliens into the interior of the U.S. Under the Senate bill, it’s business as usual.
  • The Senate border bill does nothing to limit the abuse of humanitarian parole. Parole is one of the main tools the Biden administration has used to release illegal aliens into the U.S., and indeed, even to fly them in from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.
  • The Senate border bill creates a new asylum system under which any alien merely claiming asylum must be released before they are ever screened by an asylum officer to determine whether their claim is credible. It is nothing more than a new catch-and-release program that will spark a historic rush on our southern border, encourage even more asylum fraud, and allow millions of unvetted aliens to settle into communities nationwide.
  • The Senate border bill promises speedy asylum screenings, but that’s a façade. The language only requires that initial screenings be held within 90 days “to the greatest extent practicable.” Thus, there is no legal requirement that asylum screenings take place quickly and nothing that will hold the Department of Homeland Security accountable.
  • Under the Senate bill, if the government is unable to conduct an asylum screening within 90 days, the government must give the alien a work permit anyway, whether their claim is credible or not. This allows illegal aliens to abscond with exactly what they wanted: the ability to live and work in the U.S.
  • Although the Senate border bill creates an expulsion authority for illegal aliens apprehended at the border, the provision only becomes mandatory after a staggering amount of illegal immigration has already taken place: 5,000 illegal border crossers per day over seven days (or 8,500 illegal aliens crossing in one day).
  • The new expulsion authority is riddled with exceptions. The expulsion authority does not apply to asylum-seekers and parolees at the ports of entry, and it does not apply to any group of persons the government feels should be exempted “based on the totality of the circumstances.”
  • Worst of all, under the Senate bill, the expulsion authority may only be used for a limited number of days each year and expires in three years, leaving the American people in the same situation we are now.
  • The Senate proposal requires the Department of Homeland Security to process a minimum of 1,400 inadmissible aliens per day along the southwest border, even when the expulsion authority is triggered. Clearly, the Senate authors knew that their bill would not stop the flow of illegal migrants across the border.
  • The Senate border deal spends more taxpayer dollars to subsidize illegal immigration by appropriating $1.4 billion to the Shelter and Services Program (SSP), which awards grants to NGOs and sanctuary cities that facilitate illegal immigration. This is in addition to the hundreds of millions spent for the State Department to provide “migrant assistance” and “economic assistance” to Central American countries.

Experts Worry that Illegal Immigration Is Affecting the Education System

Since the beginning of the border crisis in which millions of illegal immigrants have flooded into the country, American citizens have been affected in various ways, most notably by the spike in crime.

Some sanctuary cities have recognized that crime is out of their control and have sought changes in their sanctuary policies. Saturating news headlines are cases of illegal immigrants stealing, assaulting, raping, or even murdering innocent American civilians. In addition, taxpayers are funding the housing, food, and health care of people who aren’t legally in the U.S., with taxpayer money funding gender transition procedures as well.

Experts are also pointing to how illegal immigration is affecting the education system, as Meg Kilgannon, senior fellow for Education Studies at Family Research Council, explained on Thursday’s episode of “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins.”

FRC President Tony Perkins highlighted that “the ongoing border crisis undermines our nation’s education system” and is “often left unmentioned.” But the reality, Kilgannon said, is that both poor and wealthy districts are affected by the illegal immigrant students coming in.

“Americans are very generous,” she said, “and it’s hard for us to turn down a student at the schoolhouse door if they present themselves to learn.” But even so, most schools don’t have a choice on whether they accept the illegal migrants, which then places an added and significant “strain on the budget,” Kilgannon added. And she explained how a lot of them come in without an ability to speak English, which requires special services.

Financial strains, in particular, are hard on the high poverty areas, Kilgannon described, because they’re already struggling to fund their schools. They hardly have enough money for the legal American citizens, she noted, but additionally, “it affects wealthy areas too because of the drug crisis.” As drug overdoses at schools increase, Kilgannon discussed the growing controversy over “whether or not the school is notifying parents when children overdose at school.”

She added, “But the reason that kids are overdosing at school is because, for one thing, there’s poor control over the environment by the people who are running the schools. But there’s [also] an increase in drugs coming across the border. … There’s more availability of these drugs, and it’s causing all kinds of pressures to be put on many, many areas of our society. And of course, it’s happening to our school system as well.”

As a former state legislator, Perkins highlighted that what he used to see were parents who had to deal with very strict rules about which schools they could attend based on the district they lived in. But with illegal immigrants, he shared that those same rules don’t apply. “I mean, we’re making our own citizens have to live within the boundaries and the rules, but then someone who’s not even a citizen of this country can come in and go wherever they want, and we have to pay for it,” he said. Kilgannon agreed and stated “there are so many rules that they do not have to follow that regular American citizens have to follow.”

Perkins observed that it looks like “these schools are just expected to absorb the cost of the Biden administration’s immigration policy.” Kilgannon referred to it as “an unfunded mandate,” which can be defined as “regulations or other requirements imposed by a higher level of government on a lower one, but without accompanying appropriations to cover the cost of compliance.” Both Perkins and Kilgannon reflected on whether “local governments could take action against the Biden administration for that reason.” Kilgannon added, “I certainly would want to if I were running a school system that was dealing with these kinds of things.”

In addition, Perkins briefly mentioned how these education concerns caused by illegal immigration only add to the concern over declining test scores and proficiency rates with each year. Considering this push for schools to cater to the Biden administration’s open border policy, he concluded, “I would just think at some point a state’s got to draw the line and say, ‘We’re not doing it.’ … [T]his is absolutely out of control.”

China Continues Funding Iran, Russia as Regime Sends Nationals through Southern Border

As the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) continues buying Iranian oil and helping Russia fund its war with Ukraine, Xi Jinping’s regime appears to be sending nationals into the United States through the porous southern border via at least one secretive camp deep in the Panamanian jungle.

During the February 2 episode of “The Tucker Carlson Podcast,” libertarian podcaster and author Bret Weinstein described a recent trip he took to the Darién Gap, a dense, rugged, mountainous jungle without roads in southern Panama in which migrants from South America hoping to make it to the U.S. must pass through. While touring some of the “transit camps” where migrants ready themselves for the trip north, Weinstein noted that “people are coming from the Middle East. We met Afghans, we met people from the Caribbean, Haitians, people from Yemen, Iran. It’s shocking, really. This looks superficially like the migration of Central Americans … but that’s not the whole story.”

Weinstein went on to describe a transit camp at San Vicente, which was “almost entirely Chinese.” He noted that unlike at other camps that he visited, he was not allowed to enter the San Vicente camp and interact with people. However, he was able to interact with a few of the Chinese nationals outside the camp. “They are the opposite of forthcoming,” he explained. “They have no interest in talking to outsiders. … It is not a friendly migration. These Chinese folks [were] overwhelmingly male, military age. … There were few if any children in the Chinese migration. [Children] were everywhere in the other places we visited.”

“The sense of … hostility that I felt from the Chinese was particularly unsettling given that I know where they’re headed. … They’re headed to the U.S.,” Weinstein underscored. “… I believe their government has some reason to facilitate [this].”

Meanwhile, Radio Free Europe published a report in January detailing how China clandestinely buys oil from Iran. It describes how a “dark fleet” of oil tankers off the shores of Singapore exchange cargo. “The fleet has grown steadily over the past five years, delivering Iranian crude to China as the countries work in concert to circumvent international sanctions that target Tehran’s lucrative oil exports,” the report describes.

As has been firmly established, the Islamist regime of Iran is the “foremost state sponsor” of a host of international terrorist organizations, including Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and more.

Recently, Senator Kevin Cramer (R-S.D.) joined “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” to describe how China is helping to bankroll America’s adversaries, even as the Biden administration continues to make friendly overtures with the communist regime.

“[T]hey’re able to sell Iranian oil to China … on the black market,” he noted. “[T]hey sell to these ‘teapot refineries,’ which are sort of off the grid, but not really off the grid, and we look the other way. This is all part of playing nice, but we’re playing nice with two enemies when we should be sanctioning that oil like Donald Trump did. We should be protecting that oil from even getting to China.”

Cramer continued, “We need to be much more assertive about our economic sanctions, oil sanctions, the trade between these enemy countries and make it darn hard on them to collaborate with one another and to fund their terror. And at the same time, places like North Dakota and Texas and Oklahoma and a whole bunch of other places [like] Alaska have plenty of clean oil that is produced by good, free people [who are] happy to sell around the world and not fund terrorism with it.”

Perkins pointed out that “many U.S. companies are investing in Chinese technology, and they’re aiding the CCP.”

“[T]he fact that we haven’t learned this lesson yet is shame on us,” Cramer concurred. “[D]ecades ago, when we let China into [the World Trade Organization] and gave them favored nation status, that happened with the hope that they’d become more like us. Well, all they’ve done is exploited us with our own weakness. But the fact that Wall Street and our own corporate citizens are still drawn to that incredible market because they love the cash more than anything, or the fact that we still import cheap stuff from China that is made with slave labor in some cases — certainly unfair labor, certainly unfair conditions, certainly much more polluting factories. … The fact that we still allow it at all is mind-numbing to me, and we’ve got to do a lot more.”

In December, Cramer joined Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) and six other senators in introducing the Iran China Accountability Act, which “would block any taxpayer dollars from being used to advance an Iran nuclear agreement until they terminate cash ties with China and terminate ties to terrorist groups such as Hamas.”
