VIDEO: At the Black Conservative Federation honors gala President Trump called Biden, ‘a vicious and nasty racist’

COLUMBIA, South Carolina — President Donald J. Trump spoke at the Black Conservative Federation honors gala Friday, February 23rd, as he ramps up his effort to court black voters away from the Democratic Party.

President Donald J. Trump highlighted Biden’s past ties with segregationists like Mississippi Sen. James Eastland and Georgia Sen. Herman Talmadge, a connection Biden openly admitted to during the 2020 presidential election.

Biden was also close friends with Senator Robert Carlyle Byrd.

Byrd started his political life as an Exalted Cyclops in the Ku Klux Klan. In 1944, Byrd wrote the following in a letter to Senator Theodore Bilbo: “I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side … Rather I should die a thousand times and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”

Byrd filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act for 14 hours.

Several polls show Biden is rapidly losing support among black voters due to his and his administration’s failed economic, anti-religious, open border/pro-illegal alien and socialist/Marxist policies.

ABOUT THE BLACK CONSERVATIVE FEDERATION

Serving as the premier hub for Black conservatives throughout the country, the Black Conservative Federation will provide the resources necessary for expanding and sustaining the conservative principles that work to strengthen and uplift our communities. Together, we will develop solutions for the most pressing issues facing both the black community and our country as a whole.

Our Approach To Expanding The Movement Consists Of Three Tenets:

  1. ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT: Promoting sufficient and reliable incomes, as well as dedication to credit building, budgeting, and access to financial literacy programs.
  2. EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE: The urgency of making meaningful connections becomes clear when we consider the dire consequences of students disengaging from school. Our approach to education encompasses school choice, college readiness, and vocational opportunities.
  3. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: We believe in meeting people where they are. This means not just going into communities in search of a vote. We promote voter education, candidate advocacy and assistance, and grassroots involvement at all election levels.
