Secretary of War Hegseth Fires Navy Chief Of Staff

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth fired Navy Chief of Staff Jon Harrison on Friday, the Department of War said.

Harrison was appointed in January to lead as the Navy’s chief of staff, working alongside Navy Secretary John Phelan to implement organizational changes under Hegseth’s new leadership. A War Department official confirmed Harrison’s removal to the Daily Caller News Foundation, thanking the former chief of staff for his service.

“He will no longer serve as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of the Navy,” the statement read. “We are grateful for his service to the Department.”

According to two defense officials and a former defense official, sources told Politico that Harrison’s firing was “sudden,” coming after he and Phelan worked to implement sweeping changes in policy and budgeting offices.

The removal comes just days after retired Navy Captain and former Republican Senate candidate in Virginia Hung Cao was confirmed as Undersecretary of the Navy on Wednesday.

In July, Phelan and Harrison reportedly reassigned the top two aides who were to assist Cao as he awaited confirmation, Politico reported. The officials also planned to interview all future military assistants assigned to work with Cao, allegedly aiming to limit the influence of the role.

During his confirmation hearing in June, Cao said that “years of neglect and mismanagement” had caused issues with ships, aircraft, and submarines, adding that the department “cannot solve the problems of tomorrow with the solutions of yesterday.”

The Department has seen major leadership shakeups, including Hegseth’s firing of Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Kruse from his role as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency in August, adding to a growing list of officials removed under the new leadership.

Harrison did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

Inside Trump’s Trip To Address Military Leadership

QUANTICO, Virginia — Hundreds of America’s generals and admirals flew from around the world on just a few days’ notice for a meeting. Now, they stood as their Commander-in-Chief took the lectern, there to give them their orders of excellence.

Last week, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth ordered senior military leadership to meet in Quantico, though the topic of the meeting was unknown. Today, those leaders filed into Quantico Marine Base, leaving the Warner Hall at full capacity. The event consisted of remarks by Hegseth and President Donald Trump, the latter of whom stood at a lectern with a giant American flag hung behind him.

As the event kicked off, it became clear that Hegseth and Trump were there to set the tone for America’s military, to reemphasize their standards and to ensure the warriors that they had their backs.

“My message to you is very simple: I am with you, I support you and as President I have your backs 100%. You’ll never see me waver not even a little bit,” the president said to military leadership. He earlier encouraged the silent, polite crowd to laugh, cheer or even walk out while he spoke.

No military personnel walked out during the speech, but the president, in his approximately 71 minutes of remarks, did receive laughter as he joked about never receiving the Nobel Peace Prize and Biden and his autopen.

Trump spoke less about standard setting than Hegseth, who he followed in the program. The Secretary of War, who paced the stage throughout his remarks, announced new personnel fitness and grooming directives on Tuesday. Regardless of rank, Hegseth said members of the military will now be required to pass two fitness tests annually and must be able to match the highest combat standards previously expected only of men.

“We are bringing back a focus on fitness, ability, character and strength. And that’s because the purposes of [the] American military is not to protect people’s feelings. It’s to protect our republic and it’s the republic that we dearly love …We’ll not be politically correct when it comes to defending American freedom,” Trump said in similar vein to Hegseth’s remarks.

What the president emphasized was his pride in the military and the success they’ve had. Trump touted the military’s recruitment numbers, which he said will surpass 106% this month. The president also announced that the Marines are expected to hit their retention target.

Trump’s pride was backed up by his desire to protect his troops from what he called “political correctness.”

“We’re not going to have somebody taking your place for political reasons, because they are politically corrupt, and you’re not,” the president told leadership.

Throughout the speech, some military leadership pulled out notebooks and jotted down things the president was saying. Some others nodded and smiled, engaging with the president like he had encouraged them to do.

The president also gave insight into where his administration was seeking to take America’s forces. He teased future announcements on reforms to streamline military acquisitions and expedite foreign military sales. The president also said his administration would have further announcements on their renaming the department as the Department of War.

Above all, Trump expressed his confidence in the American military.

Discussing nuclear power, Trump also told military leadership that the American military is 25 years ahead of China and Russia when it comes to submarines. The president then disclosed that he had moved nuclear submarines near Russia after a small threat from the country.

He touted his administration’s drone strikes on drug cartels, telling the room that if you “poison our people, we will blow you out of existence.”

Threats aren’t just isolated to outside of the country, Trump warned, telling his military leadership that he would “never hesitate” to defend Americans from “threats of violence from the horrible plague that’s taking place from within.”

In typical Trump fashion, the president occasionally told stories and jokes throughout his address which concluded the once mysterious meeting.

While the military leadership never loosened up in quite the way the president asked them to, the reception to his message of strength and change appeared to be well received.

“We must be so strong that no nation will dare challenge us, so powerful that no enemy will dare threaten us and so capable that no adversary can even think about beating us,” Trump said, with the words “strength, service, America” written on the banner next to him.

The Daily Mail’s “Womanizer” Whopper: Another Media Smear Bites the Dust

Ever notice how the legacy media, when it’s short on facts, will swing for character assassination against conservatives — like it’s their morning coffee?

The Daily Mail delivered a masterclass earlier this week. And here’s their screaming headline:

Now pay careful attention: “Pete Hegseth’s womanizing past comes back to bite taxpayers.”

Womanizing! Really? The headline makes you think that Pete’s previous dalliances is costing taxpayer money, because he needs increased security. People want to kill him because of his womanizing.

But here’s the thing: Nowhere. I mean, absolutely nowhere does the article even mention a single “womanizing” detail. None. Zilch. Nada.

Yet, that headline implies that the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division (or CID) has tripled its protective detail to cover him, his wife, his ex-wives, and their kids.

Headline translation: It’s costing you extra bucks because Pete, among other things, has bedded too many women. Only, the actual article doesn’t say that.

In fact, it not only fails to mention Pete’s so-called womanizing, it fails to mention a single reason why people want to kill him.

We know why. Because rouge nations and domestic terrorists want him dead, not because he is a womanizer, but because he’s putting America first.

Here’s the classic playbook of the lamestream media:

First, Slap “womanizer” in the headline for clicks.

Second, ignore the boring truth.

Third, conjure up a scandal that doesn’t exist.

And fourth, blame the victim instead of the real criminals.

In other words, it’s not about dealing with the real threats. It’s about painting a conservative Defense Secretary as a moral trainwreck. It’s about as subtle as a sledgehammer.

The Daily Mail implies that Pete’s personal life has caused this “crisis.”

If only he hadn’t remarried or had kids from past marriages, taxpayers wouldn’t be “on the hook.”

That’s like blaming a mugging victim for owning a nice watch. “It’s your fault, Bob. You enticed these criminals by wearing that bling.” Or like a woman being stalked by a serial rapist needing to call the cops. “Stay indoors, mam, and stop provoking him.”

This is not journalism; it’s victim-shaming with a headline for the entire world to see.

Here’s what the Daily Mail didn’t splash across its clickbait headline or even mention in the article:

  • A bomb threat against Hegseth’s Tennessee home.
  • Multiple threats against Pete by rogue nations and domestic terrorists.
  • And most importantly, it was the Pentagon, not Hegseth, that decided his family needed increased protection – and it wasn’t because some Joe Blow in Californian wants to kill him because he’s a womanizer.

No. It was real threats. Real danger. And it was the Pentagon’s call.

But do you know what: That doesn’t smear a conservative, does it? So, ignore the facts, conjure up a fake headline, and hope readers are too stupid to notice.

This is why Americans loathe outlets like the Daily MailWashington Post, or New York Times.

They think you are too dimwitted to spot their con:

  • Headlines that lie.
  • Personal lives dragged for cheap political points.
  • And the blame shifted from terrorists to the guy they’re trying to kill.

I have a news flash for the media: we’re not as stupid as you think. We see your game. And we’re over it.

Pete Hegseth doesn’t need security because of “womanizing.”

He needs it because bad actors—foreign and domestic—want him and his family dead. That’s not tabloid gossip. That’s terrorism.

If the media had a shred of honesty, they would report the threats, not invent soap operas. But honesty doesn’t go viral, and it sure doesn’t dunk on conservatives.

So, they serve us lies, garnished with acid to burn and Melatonin to put us to sleep.

Join us at Christian Action Network to call out this nonsense. Share this truth because the legacy media won’t. Let’s hammer down on their scams—journalistic and the tabloid.

VIDEO: Victor Davis Hanson Sees the Signs — Do You?

Five former Secretaries of Defense, all echoing the same warning…That Donald Trump is a threat to the military’s morale.

Lloyd Austin, Jim Mattis, Leon Panetta, Chuck Hegel and Mr. Perry have all written a letter to Congress criticizing President Donald J. Trump’s administration, and in particular Pete Hegseth, a for firing a number of officers including the Chairman of the Joint Chief General Brown.

President Donald J. Trump’s firing of the top U.S. military officer chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General C.Q. Brown

This is a reflection of the president wanting the right people around him to execute the national security.

What if it’s not Trump that’s politicizing the Pentagon?

What if it’s Lloyd Austin, Jim Mattis, Leon Panetta, Chuck Hegel and Mr. Perry and the media who are threat to the military’s morale?

What if the real crisis isn’t who gets fired…but why recruitment surged when Trump was elected and collapsed under those who claimed to defend the institution?

Woke, DEI-Obsessed Navy Vice Admiral Who Allegedly Refused to Put Up Trump’s Portrait at NATO Headquarters Has Been FIRED

The Trump Administration continues to drain the deep state swamp of woke military officials obsessed with DEI and nation-building.

Fox News reported on Tuesday that Navy Vice Admiral Shoshana Chatfield, the only woman on NATO’s military committee, was fired over the weekend, reportedly as part of a larger effort to purge wokeness from the Pentagon.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made the final call last week, but whether President Trump was involved is unclear.

Sean Parnell, the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs & Chief Pentagon Spokesman, stated on X that Chatfield was terminated “due to a loss of confidence in her ability to lead.” He went on to say the DoD is grateful for her years of service in the military.

The conservative American Accountability Foundation, which first asked the Pentagon to terminate Chatfield, has noted her history of woke statements. For example, during a Women’s Equality Event back in August 2015, Chatfield boasted about how “diversity is our strength” and called for investing in gender equality and women’s empowerment.
