Mamdani’s Socialist Org Makes Progress Flooding Local Offices With Radicals Across U.S.

Democratic New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani was one of at least six candidates backed by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) who won local offices across the country Tuesday.

Kelsea Bond in Atlanta, Georgia, Denzel McCampbell in Detroit, Michigan, Danny Nowell in Carrboro, North Carolina, Ayah Al-Zubi in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Frankie Fritz in Greenbelt, Maryland, won city council races after receiving DSA endorsements, according to multiple reports. The results show that DSA-style radicals bucking the establishment left through Mamdani marked a wider trend.

In Minnesota, Democratic Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and DSA-backed leftist Omar Fateh completed their first round of vote counting in the city’s ranked-choice voting system Tuesday with Frey in the lead, The Associated Press reported. Unofficial election results show Will Burnley Jr., another DSA candidate, lost against Jake Wilson in Somerville, Massachusetts’ mayoral race, according to The Tufts Daily.

The DSA said it endorsed 18 candidates throughout the year in a Tuesday statement celebrating Mamdani’s mayoral win. “DSA will continue to support Democratic Socialists running for office throughout the United States as we build a political movement of and for the working class that can defeat the oligarchy and win the political revolution,” the group said.

“Through Zohran’s victory, the people defeated the oligarchy; the working class defeated major corporations; Democratic Socialism defeated the Democratic Party status quo,” the DSA said. “This movement was powered by over 99,000 volunteers and millions [of] voters. Thousands of DSA members in NYC-DSA played critical roles in the campaign as staff and volunteers: knocking doors, calling voters, talking to coworkers, and organizing in our unions and communities.”

Left-wing financier Alex Soros celebrated the win Tuesday by posting a photo on X of himself posing with the self-proclaimed socialist. “So proud to be a New Yorker! The American dream continues!” Soros said.

Democrats unaffiliated with the DSA won elections for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general in Virginia and for governor of New Jersey on Tuesday.

A liberal incumbent candidate for school board lost to an independent in Loudon County, Virginia, infamous for sexual assault scandals related to the school district’s stance on transgenderism. Amy Riccardi, the independent, campaigned in favor of separating bathrooms and other school spaces by biological sex.

Mamdani Represents the Zeitgeist of the Militant Democrat Base. He’s a Dangerous Man.

Zohran Mamdani is the future of the Democratic Party and there is little the Democrat establishment can do to stop it.

Most Americans are undoubtedly tired of hearing about New York and the socialist currently leading the city’s mayoral race, but what happens in the Big Apple may unfortunately affect the whole country.

New York held its first debate Thursday night between three leading candidates: Andrew Cuomo, Curtis Sliwa, and Mamdani. You can read my night-of analysis here.

But I have one additional takeaway from the debate and race as a whole. The reason Mamdani, who is a state assemblyman and is backed by the Democratic Socialists of America, has captured so much attention from the media is that he very much represents the zeitgeist of the evolving Democrat base.

What has struck me about Mamdani from the beginning is not simply his radicalism, but his open radicalism.

Sure, he’s modulated some of his positions from the heady, revolutionary days of 2020. He no longer publicly says that the NYPD is a threat to public safety or puts photos of himself on social media flipping off Christopher Columbus statues. He’s wiggled his way out of talking about the issues that he and virtually everyone on the Left supports when in power. But his policy positions remain very much to the Left of what the Democratic Party would admit it supports. And it couldn’t be clearer that he’s a true believer.

Mamdani’s radicalism is hiding in plain sight.

Government-run grocery stores? Mamdani’s all for it. I’m sure he’ll have a slick video for the first grand opening on social media.

Free city bus rides? Don’t worry, the “rich” will pay and it will cause crime to go down. After all, fare evasion isn’t a crime if the bus is free, right?

Don’t call it defunding the police, call it funding social workers who will surely make the crime issue on the subway go away.

All these terrible ideas have been tried—some even have been tried in New York—but Mamdani’s young base likely doesn’t know or care about that.

Make no mistake, Mamdani is woke on all the cultural issues too. His most dedicated staffers and supporters are DSA members looking to seize power by any means necessary. It would be a mistake to think their only goals are seizing the means of production and giving handouts to their constituents.

Most importantly of all in terms of what Mamdani represents, the Democrat base wants someone who will “resist” President Donald Trump no matter what. If you want to understand the Democrat shutdown strategy, look no further than Mamdani.

It was not too long ago that the assemblyman started making a name for himself by screaming belligerently at Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan over the arrest of Columbia University student Mahmoud Khalil. Khalil, a Palestinian refugee has become a martyr of sorts for the Left despite or more likely because of his support for Hamas.

Mamdani leads a Green-Red coalition that more openly embraces socialists and Islamists than the previous Democratic Party iterations would have acknowledged. And this very much works in the modern age given the collapse of the Democratic Party establishment.

The Democrat base doesn’t want moderation, they want confrontation, they want theatrics. They don’t want “abundance” for all, they want to soak their enemies to give to their friends. They want blood, in most cases rhetorical, in some cases literal. Mamdani gives the base what they want, even if his policies ultimately differ very little from the supposedly “moderate” Democrat establishment.

Think of it this way. The tussles on college campuses between protesters and university leadership are very much like the battles taking place within the Democratic Party. The activists and the base make a ruckus, and the leaders shift a little to the Left to appease them. This tug leftward continues over and over again until the “establishment” of today is like the anti-establishment Left of yesterday.

Mamdani represents a triumph of the activist Left over a tired Democrat establishment that can no longer justify itself. In a practical political sense, the current establishment has proven to be a loser.

The country is no longer looking for Biden-ism or Cuomo-ism. The American people saw through the fraud.

So instead of putting forth a “moderate” candidate and trying to slip in the radicalism once in power, they are going for a more strident form of leftism. Bernie Sander-ism, but in a younger, slicker, Millennial package.

Whether this works outside the bluest cities and states is an open question. But it does represent a serious change in American politics, and potentially a very dangerous one. At the very least the old Democrat establishment would “evolve” a bit when in danger of losing support and getting mugged by reality, or more precisely, angry voters.

The new upstarts aren’t phased by reality. They will adopt the most leftwing position and stick with it, no matter the results or repercussions. Once in power, are they likely to let it go?

Mamdani represents an uncompromising, ruthless version of the Left that won’t be deterred by reality, political or otherwise. If he wins, this will become a model used elsewhere. That Mamdani may become the next mayor of New York is a threat not just to New Yorkers, but the whole country.

Left-Wing Militias Are Hiding Right Under Our Noses

Several far-left groups — from socialists to anarchists — are uniting right in the heart of Utah, one of the nation’s most conservative states.

President Donald Trump designated Antifa a “major terrorist organization” Wednesday following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. There are a litany of other leftist, anarchist groups throughout the country — some of which are armed.

Less than an hour away in Salt Lake City, Utah, various radical left-wing groups have established a presence, including the Armed Queers Salt Lake City (SLC).

The organization, which apparently took down its Instagram account following Kirk’s assassination, was investigated for possible connections to his murder, a law enforcement source confirmed to the New York Post.

A student organizer with the group, Ermiya Fanaeian, told The Daily Utah Chronicle in 2024 that threatening power requires “disruption.”

“We have seen many great examples of peaceful protest, throughout history,” she said. “And it’s not to discredit any of that. But I think in order for us to pose a threat to power … there needs to be some form of disruption.”

Another far-left organization in Salt Lake City that encourages the use of firearms is the Utah chapter of the Socialist Rifle Association (SRA).

The national group boasts 10,000 members, and its members have ties to at least four crimes — including the alleged firebombing of Tesla dealerships, according to a report from the Daily Wire.

The Utah SRA spent the summer raising money for “Artruro Gamboa, an anti-racist accused of murder,” according to a social media post.

Police alleged that Gamboa refused to drop a rifle at the request of an armed safety volunteer at a Salt Lake City “No Kings” rally, according to The Guardian.

Gamboa allegedly ran into a crowd of demonstrators before the safety volunteer fired his weapon and accidentally killed a protester, according to the outlet, citing police. Officers arrested Gamboa after he allegedly fled the scene, and he was accused of creating the situation that resulted in the death an attendee, the report stated.

Although the national SRA claims it has no affiliation with its subreddit, the forum serves as a place where members can discuss political issues with members across the country. SRA also contends that it is not a militia.

Following Kirk’s assassination, one reddit discussion responded to Cox’s call to “disagree better” by claiming they are “at war.”

Comments from members of the subreddit shared now-debunked claims that the alleged shooter was right-wing.

One commenter stated, “we literally can’t coexist with fascists,” while another shared articles from left-wing news outlets claiming “toxic rhetoric” and “anger” was spiking among the right.

“Train as often as possible. Because make no mistake, right-wing violence will be skyrocketing over the next few months and years,” the user said.

The Salt Lake chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (SLDSA) is another prominent local left-wing group.

The chapter’s bylaws state that its purpose is to “facilitate the transition to a truly democratic and socialist society.”

Its bylaws also condemn “violence that defends the status quo” and violence “against another member.” However, it appears to not display a stance on condemning violence toward nonmembers or as a form of resistance against “an economic order based on private profit, alienated labor, gross inequalities of wealth and power, racial and sexual discrimination.”

“When we fight, you say we win,” SLDSA co-chair Matty Jackson chanted with a crowd at a Labor Day protest.

“We must to ask ourselves constantly, what would it take for us to fight back? What will make the whole [working class] fight back? What will convince someone to put something real at risk?” Jackson said.

“[Employers] are part of a whole capitalist class that fights us in the courts, in the state, in the government, who own the homes we live in,” he added.

The Daily Caller asked the chapter if it condemned political violence, but has not heard back as of publication.

Republican Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said the suspect in custody for the assassination of Kirk held strong left-leaning beliefs. The alleged gunman carved “Hey, fascist! Catch!” onto one of the bullet casings.

On Sunday, SLDSA announced the postponement of its Socialist Night School session on the “prison industrial complex” due to “recent events” and “public safety.”

A Sept. 1 blog post shared on the SLDSA site posed the question: “How, without taking up arms, can I truly call myself a revolutionary?”

“The question sits at the back of my mind, and no doubt, most likely yours,” the author wrote. The post ultimately concluded that the most revolutionary act is creating art, and it urged readers to be “relentless in your rebellion.”

Another group, the Palestinian Solidarity Forum of Utah, started the “Anti-Zionism Challenge” in July, where the forum aims to dismantle “Zionism” and “Nazi ideology”.” It advocates for “every restaurant, shop, bar and business should ban Zionism.”

“Apathy is no longer an excuse,” the social media post continued.

“Nazis aren’t allowed to unmask and exist in public. They aren’t welcome and need to be shamed out of existence,” the post added.

There are a variety of smaller left-wing groups in Utah.

Utah’s Pagans for Change and Witches for Change, for example, have protested Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee with signs calling him a “fascist liar” and a “little b*tch.”

Websites like “A Radical Guide” function as a map for left-wing groups around the world. The project asserts that its vision is for “interconnected communities” working together for “liberation, dismantling systems of oppression and creating lasting social transformation.”

One Salt Lake City group listed on the platform is the Salt Lake City Free Skool, which holds free classes on various subjects and describes itself as “a small community of mostly radical minded folx.”

Another organization listed on the website is Boing! Anarchist Collective.

The collective invites those who are “inspired by people who have acted outside of the legal system to achieve liberation” and “hesitant to resign yourself to a pacified and glorified form of dissidence” to join their program.

Who Is Zohran Mamdani? The Radical Views of NYC’s Socialist Mayoral Candidate

New York City’s race for mayor has captured national headlines after radical socialist Democrat Zohran Mamdani won the Democratic nomination. Many of New York City’s Democrats have been enraptured by the young politician’s progressive promises since the beginning of his career. But his radical beliefs have never been on display like they are now.

Mamdani was born in Uganda to Mahmood Mamdani, an Indian-Ugandan academic, and filmmaker Mira Nair. His family then moved to the United States and settled in New York City when he was seven, where he acquired an educational background in Africana studies. Mamdani worked as a housing counselor before entering local politics and has been making headlines since his election to New York’s State Assembly in 2020.

As an outspoken member of the Democratic Socialists of America, Mamdani has a number of concerning views. According to their webpage, the DSA supports defunding the police; closing local jails; free housing, water, energy, transit, and food; a 32-hour, four-day work week “with no reduction in wages or benefits;” the elimination of fossil fuels; “demilitariz[ing] the border and end[ing] all immigrant detention;” abolishing ICE; giving illegal immigrants voting rights; “abolish[ing] the US Senate;” and “A second constitutional convention to write the founding documents of a new socialist democracy,” among other frightening objectives.

Although his election to higher office may seem unrealistic and unlikely, many of Mamdani’s campaign promises derive from the radical DSA agenda. According to Mamdani’s campaign website, he plans to “permanently eliminate the fare on every city bus,” “implement free childcare for every New Yorker aged 6 weeks to 5 years,” “create a network of city-owned grocery stores,” and “triple the City’s production of permanently affordable, union-built, rent-stabilized homes.”

The mayoral candidate also described his concerning Marxist views at a 2021 DSA conference. “… [T]here are also other issues that we firmly believe in, whether it’s BDS or whether it is the end goal of seizing the means of production, where we do not have the same level of support at this very moment.” The phrase “seizing the means of production” is Marxist terminology which refers to the working class owning and controlling all industries and resources and abandoning private ownership.

“But how will he pay for this?” you might ask. Perhaps it’s the money fairy that Democrats think will pay off all their student loans! Well, Mamdani listed his monetary plan of action on his website as well. To pay for his free-everything-for-everyone plan, Mamdani pledges to “raise the corporate tax rate” to 11.5%, which is currently 9%. He also promises to “tax the wealthiest 1% of New Yorkers … a flat 2% tax.”

But it’s hard to see how effective this plan will be if — and when — the wealthy leave the city. For example, the state of California reported a loss of $5.3 billion in personal income tax in a five-year span after the 2016 taxes on the wealthy. New York City could fare even worse thanks to out-of-city commuter ability, as well as the growing population of remote workers.

What do New York City’s businessmen and women have to say about this? Mamdani had a closed-door meeting with a few of the city’s high-profile corporate executives to ease tensions over his anti-business agenda. But some of the most influential leaders, such as Blackstone’s Steve Schwartzman, Bank of America CEO Brain Moynihan, Blackrock’s Larry Fink, and Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon, did not attend.

Another non-attendee, JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon, didn’t have many nice things to say about Mamdani. “He’s more of a Marxist than a socialist,” Dimon stated. “[N]ow you see these Democrats falling all over themselves saying, ‘Well, he’s pointing out some real problems, affordable housing and grocery prices.’ Okay, maybe,” Dimon said. “There’s the same ideological mush that means nothing in the real world.”

Beyond his startling economic plans, Mamdani has made a variety of other disturbing statements throughout his young political career. He has recently felt pushback from many Jewish groups and leaders over his questionable views surrounding the phrase “globalize the intifada.” This phrase is often “used by pro-Palestinian activists [who call] for aggressive resistance against Israel and those who support Israel.”

But when questioned about his opinions on the slogan during a recent interview, Mamdani said the phrase showed “a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights.” But he also pointed out its use in the Holocaust Museum to translate the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.

Mamdani also declined to support this year’s resolution which “recogniz[ed] Israel on the 77th anniversary of its founding” and condemned the Holocaust. These annual resolutions are rarely disputed among Democrats, but this decision isn’t surprising after Mamdani declined to sign a similar 2024 resolution. He was also one of the five members — out of 150 — who did not sign “at least one of the two resolutions this year.”

But Mamdani’s unsettling statements go beyond anti-Semitism. The mayoral candidate can’t even support victims of domestic violence. In a 2020 episode on the podcast “Immigrantly,” Mamdani argued, “If somebody is jaywalking, if somebody is surviving, going through domestic violence — there are so many different, different situations that would be far better handled by people trained to deal with those specific situations, as opposed to an individual with a gun.” This is an incredibly alarming statement coming from the aspiring mayor of a city with over 110,000 domestic violence complaints in 2024 alone.

Mamdani’s frightening ideology runs deep. In his father’s 2004 book, “Good Muslim, Bad Muslim,” he encouraged suicide bombing “as a feature of modern political violence” as opposed to “a mark of barbarism.” He wrote that we must “recognize the suicide bomber, first and foremost, as a category of soldier.”

Reasonably concerned with Mamdani’s past statements and background, some high-profile leaders within the Democratic Party have yet to publicly endorse Mamdani’s campaign, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jefferies (N.Y.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.), who contended, “What ‘globalize the intifada’ means is really wrong and should be condemned.”

Republican leaders are taking advantage of this dissent within the Democratic Party, including Ohio’s candidate for governor, Vivek Ramaswamy, whose super PAC paid for a Times Square digital billboard, reading, “Worried About Zohran? Ohio Is Waiting for You!”

In the face of opposition, Mamdani has begun rolling back many of his past stances. Most notably, his calls to defund the police. “Don’t believe the MAGA billionaires funding Andrew Cuomo’s fear-driven campaign: I will not defund the police.”

But, looking through the candidate’s X account, it’s easy to see the contradictions of his agenda. Among dozens of these posts, Mamdani made multiple anti-police statements like “Defund the NYPD. House the poor.” Referring to the New York City Council, he posted, “None of these people are fit to lead. We need a socialist city council to defund the police.”

But Mamdani is now trying to “support” police efforts through a new “department of community safety” which will — supposedly — assist the police who “have a critical role to play.” But according to Mamdani’s prior social media posts, the NYPD is completely corrupt and irredeemable. “We don’t need an investigation to know that the NYPD is racist, anti-queer & a major threat to public safety. What we need is to #DefundTheNYPD.” He also claimed, “There’s no reforming this system. Defund the police.” He also recently emphasized his refusal to work with ICE and to “protect our immigrant communities.”

The Democratic Party continues to fracture as various former New York leaders come out in opposition of Mamdani’s nomination. These leaders include former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, incumbent mayor of New York City Eric Adams, and attorney Jim Walden. Cuomo, who was defeated in the Democratic primary, called on all those currently running as Independents, now including himself, to drop out of the race in favor of the leading Independent in September. “This is really a job for someone who has experience,” former New York Governor David Patterson stressed. “[I]t’s a job for someone who can make a plan work, and it’s got to be someone who is going to consider the people in the city and not single them out for some type of retribution.”

But this week’s polls don’t look promising. A recent poll by Data for Progress shows Mamdani leading the way at 40%, with Cuomo trailing in second place with 24%, Mayor Adams in third at 15%, and Republican Candidate Curtis Silwa in fourth at 14%.

The new members of the political Left are moving the party in a frightening new direction as progressive socialists with a deep hatred for the core, founding values of our country, like Zohran Mamdani, begin taking over. Quena Gonzalez, FRC’s senior director for Government Affairs, pointed out, “I am the child of an immigrant who rejected socialism, so no, thank you. Communism has failed everywhere. It’s been tried.”

The War On Cops — Cincinnati Is Ground Zero

Ryan Hinton was an 18-year-old black man living in Cincinnati, Ohio. On May 1, 2025, he and three friends were pulled over by the police in a vehicle the police officers believed was stolen. The four youths took off running. The two police officers who had made the stop pursued on foot.

Seconds later, Hinton appeared from between two dumpsters with a semi-automatic pistol in his hand and pointing it at one of the police officers. He was shot dead.

On May 2, 2025, the police showed Hinton’s parents body cam footage taken by one of the officers, clearly showing their son holding a pistol. The weapon was recovered from the scene.

The father, Rodney Hinton, Jr., was upset. So, later that day, he got in his car and ran over a sheriff’s deputy directing traffic outside a University of Cincinnati graduation event. The officer was killed.

Other members of the Hinton family were in another vehicle following Rodney Hinton, Jr., when he ran over the police officer. It is unclear if they knew what Hinton was going to do in advance.

Rodney Hinton, Jr., is now being charged with murder and may face the death penalty. The Black Panthers and the Democratic Socialists of America have shown up. Rodney Hinton has a long criminal record including grand theft, aggravated robbery, and domestic violence. That is irrelevant. Hinton is, you understand, being oppressed. The answer is not that he should be prosecuted. The answer is that more cops should die.

“They might wanna kill Rodney for avenging his son. We say no, sir!” said Mmoja Ajabu, Executive Director of Pan-African Affairs for the Black Panther Movement, at a rally in support of Rodney Hinton. “You do that, and other things are gonna happen!”

“No justice! No peace!” the crowd at the rally chanted.

“Say his name! Rodney Hinton! And we’re not going to just say his name, we’re going to protect his body.”

Ajabu was surrounded by armed members of the Black Panther Party in full military regalia.

Later that day, Mmoja Ajabu spoke again at a town hall. Hinton was lionized as some sort of revolutionary hero, and the act of running over a deputy was glorified as an act of revolutionary courage.

“Most of us think like this, especially in this room, but how many of us have the courage to carry it out?” Ajabu asked.

“When we start seeing each other as brother and sister, then if it’s your child, it’s mine too.”

“Rodney has shown us, and we’re gonna support him. Now they’re talking about killing him,” Ajabu said.

“That ain’t gonna happen without there being a price. But see, we don’t want to riot. We want to have a military strategy that we bring them to their knees.”

“If you ain’t ready for the killing, then you’re in the wrong place.”

A group of representatives from the Democratic Socialists of America at the University of Cincinnati attended the town hall as well. Someone asked about identifying the officer who shot Ryan Hinton. “We take the position that Rodney took,” Ajabu replied. “Any of them will do.”

There is no ambiguity here. Ajabu is not calling for an inquiry or due process. Ajabu is legitimizing the deliberate murder of a police officer and encouraging others to act as Rodney Hinton did. “Any of them will do.” The objective is to kill police officers. In Ajabu’s terms, a “military strategy”.

The Democratic Party set this monster loose. It made common cause with revolutionary Marxists who want to burn the system down. It encouraged mobs to destroy cities and demonized the police. Trump is in the White House, but the revolutionary forces across the nation remain powerful and fully intent on destroying the existing social, economic, and political order.

This is the United States of America. We give a wide berth to free speech as we should. We need to understand, however, that groups like the Black Panthers and others on the far left have no real interest in talking. They are organizing for overt, violent action.

At some point, we are going to have to recognize that and act accordingly. These guys are already talking about a war on cops. All the rest of us are next.

The Party of Men Who Think They’re Women Decides to Stay the Course

What could possibly go wrong for the party of blue-haired, angry Marxists? They know they’re right. They know they’re righteous. They know their opponents are evil, racist fascists. So what if they’ve lost an election or two? They’re on the side of history, you benighted fools! To change course now would be to jump to the wrong side of history, and history hates when you do that! And so the Democrats have decided, after the American electorate decisively rejected the noxious stew they’re selling, to serve up more of the same.

Politico reported Friday that the Democratic National Committee held a major meeting not long after the Convicted Felon, the Emmanuel Goldstein of 2015-2025 (and counting), the focus of evil in the modern world, Orange Man Bad himself, took office again. The ostensible reason for the meeting was to vet candidates for the DNC leadership position, but it was really an opportunity for Democrat top dogs to do some soul-searching and decide which way their party would turn next.

The Democrat Party, whatever else it was, used to be adaptable to circumstances. In 1968, it went down to defeat with presidential candidate Hubert Humphrey, who supported the war in Vietnam. As the war grew increasingly unpopular, the Democrats moved farther to the left (which is always easy for them) and nominated the antiwar Sen. George McGovern in 1972. When McGovern’s far-left candidacy went down in flames, the party moved back toward the center by going with southern Democrat Jimmy Carter in 1976.

All that, however, was a long, long time ago. Now the party of Andrew Jackson and FDR is in the grip of hardline leftist ideologues who seem to care more about adherence to the far-left line than about electoral viability. All the party’s old ability to adapt has been lost; to change course now would apparently make one a class traitor, or a racist, or a fascist, or whatever the left’s favorite term for those it fears and hates is these days.

Even Politico’s Holly Otterbein was disgusted, stating with startling frankness that the Democrats have become a parody of themselves, likening a moment early in the meeting when one DNC leadership candidate broke into song to “a scene from ‘Portlandia,’ a comedy satirizing ultra-liberals — and it was a punchline that was clipped and replayed across social media in the days ahead. Things only got more surreal, and viral, from there.”

The aspiring DNC leaders, Otterbein wrote, “inadvertently showcased the party’s self-absorbed tendencies that strategists argue have driven away swing voters, by turns fixating on identity politics, displaying scorn for large swaths of the electorate and failing to focus on the pocketbook concerns of ordinary Americans.” They never dared approach the topic of whether Kamala Harris had not run a perfect campaign. They likewise ignored the open border, skyrocketing inflation, and all the other issues that made voters want to throw the Dems out in the first place.

As is generally true at Marxist and neo-Marxist gatherings, ideological purity was strictly enforced. MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart asked the leadership candidates: “How many of you believe that racism and misogyny played a role in Vice President Harris’ defeat?” Each candidate raised his or her or xis hand, whereupon Capehart passed up an opportunity to call them all crazy and tell them that they needed to remove their ideological blinkers. Instead, he stated magisterially: “That’s good. You all pass.” Whew!

A DNC member asked the candidates: “Will you pledge to appoint more than one transgender person to an at-large seat?” Seven of the eight candidates readily affirmed that they would do so, and the eighth was condemned as a heretic and burned at the stake. Okay, I’m exaggerating about that last part. But only a little.

The aspiring Democrat leaders also described Trump as a “fascist who espoused white supremacist conspiracies.” Telling half the country’s population that they’re evil people is hardly a winning strategy, and Politico climbed up onto a ledge of its own, despondently surveying the DNC leadership candidates and alleging that “the spectacle appalled many dyed-in-the-wool Democrats — and deepened the sense that party leaders were not up for the moment.”

Politico even quoted an anonymous “Democratic strategist” saying: “I don’t know if Dems realize how f**ked they are right now as a brand. It was a bunch of people politely discussing how many deck chairs on the Titanic should be reserved for transgender people.” For the sake of the continuing health of America as a free society, all free people must hope that this particular Titanic will continue to sink.

NEW YORK: Demonstrator at NYC Pro-Jihad Rally Displays Nazi Symbol on Phone
