EXCLUSIVE: Don Jr., Trump Campaign Thrilled With How Much Better They Think Vance Has Been Than Walz

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign and his eldest son, Don Jr., say they are thrilled with Sen. J.D. Vance’s performance on the campaign trail in comparison to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, in exclusive conversations with the Daily Caller.

Trump Jr., who was one of the main forces behind Vance becoming his father’s running mate, explained to the Caller that people were “wrong” about Vance and said that he “understood the guy.” Trump Jr. and other campaign officials highlighted Vance’s media appearances, saying he is not scared to go against the liberal mainstream media, whereas Walz has continued to dodge questions from reporters on the campaign trail and has yet to sit down for a one-on-one interview since becoming the Democratic VP nominee.

“I’ve known him well and for a long time. I understand his talents. And I think every Sunday when I watch the Sunday shows or frankly, any other media, I am continually reaffirmed that me going all in for J.D. was 100% the right move,” Trump Jr. told the Caller. “But what’s also interesting is there’s plenty of people that were sort of, let’s just say, J.D. Vance, not necessarily fans or perhaps indifferent, who have since reached out to me knowing my push, knowing that they were probably pushing different directions who are straight up saying, ‘Don you are 100% right on that one. I got it wrong.’ And he’s absolutely kicking ass out on the campaign trail right now.”

Regarding other possible picks, Trump Jr. said that he believes the media would have treated whoever his father picked with disdain.

“I think the media would have done the attacks on everyone and anyone that Trump ever picked. That’s their job, as sort of the lapdog propagandists of the Democrat machine. I think they went particularly hard on J.D. But those hits just don’t fall well, because his backstory, his life story, as articulate as he is, the way he prosecutes the case,” he said. “J.D. does better in a hostile media territory than the very vast majority of Republicans do on even Fox News. And so the way he’s able to prosecute that case against the Democrats, the Harris-Biden regime, their failures, it’s just been incredible to watch.”

One of the main reasons Trump Jr. said he pushed for Vance was due to his support for the America First movement, which he said he thinks Vance can “keep going in an age beyond Trump.”

“So I think he’s just shown a level of commitment to the movement that’s amazing. I think you combine that with his other talents, his youth,” Trump Jr. told the Caller. “And my dad will be a part of this thing for hopefully a very long time. But we don’t have much of a bench on the conservative side, certainly not on the America First side that can actually play the game the way it needs to be played against the Democrats, who have just been steamrolling us for years. I think he’s one of those rare talents, on our side. So, I think I recognized that earlier than most, I think others are starting to finally get it now, and that’s great.”

“You can’t put Tim Walz and JD Vance in the same category for comparison. I mean it’s not even close,” Trump Jr. added.

Meanwhile, sources on the Trump campaign and National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt all echoed their support for Vance as Trump’s running mate and heavily criticized Walz, who has come under fire for signing legislation in favor of putting tampons in boys bathrooms, accusations of stolen valor and his history and relationship with China.

“Senator JD Vance honorably served our country in the US Marines and has truly lived the American Dream. He has proven to be a great asset to President Trump and our campaign as he barnstorms the country meeting with voters and owning the fake news media. Senator Vance certainly serves as a strong and sharp contrast to Weirdo Tim Walz, who has been one of the most radical liberal governors in the country and supports insane policies, like putting tampons in men’s bathrooms,” Leavitt told the Caller.

A senior Trump campaign official added that they are surprised Democrats have not found a way to replace Walz on their ticket, saying he is only hurting Democrats’ chance of defeating Trump.

“It’s shocking that the Democrats haven’t already done the rumored switcharoo on VP. Walz is terrible for their ticket. He came to the dance with a record of lies about his military resume, he can’t face the press without a babysitter, and despite being Governor of Minnesota, their ticket has actually lost ground in polling there since he was selected,” the senior Trump campaign official told the Caller.

Another Trump campaign official said Vance is “killing it” and has done a good job on the campaign trail.

“Besides President Trump himself, he’s the strongest advocate there is for President Trump’s policies. And unlike Kamala Harris, he’s willing to go into the lion’s den. He’ll go on Meet the Press, CNN, wherever, he’ll go do an interview, and he’ll take tough questions and he’ll come back with great answers and I think he’s been executing the case. and he’s been aggressively on the campaign trail. And we’re happy. He’s killing it,” the Trump campaign official said.

Longtime Republican strategist John Ashbrook told the Caller that Vance is “absolutely crushing it” and called Walz a phony.

“He refuses to let opposition dictate the terms of any debate and clearly delivers a message about fixing our economy and securing our border. It was very smart of President Trump to elevate the voice of a poor kid from Middletown, Ohio, who echoes the sentiments of the overlooked millions he fights for every day,” Ashbrook said. “And he offers a stark authenticity contrast with Tim Walz who’s spent his lengthy political career pretending to be something he’s not.”

EXCLUSIVE: ‘Totally Silent’: Donald Trump Jr. Says Media Won’t Give Walz Family The Mary Trump Treatment

Donald Trump Jr. explained he does not believe the media will cover that several members of Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s family, including his own brother, are reportedly supporting his rival, former President Donald Trump, in an exclusive Wednesday interview with the Daily Caller.

A photo circulated the internet earlier in the day of eight people reportedly related to the Democratic Vice President nominee Walz, all wearing “Walz for Trump” shirts. They were all also standing in front of a “Trump 2024,  Take America Back” flag. The Caller asked Trump Jr. about the photo and if he thinks it will make a difference in the election, to which the former president’s eldest son said he believes the media will be “totally silent” on the issue. He compared it to his father’s niece, Mary Trump, who has been an outspoken critic of his father, but who Trump Jr. says he has seen once in 25 years for a brief period of time.

The photo was originally shared by a friend of the family, then posted by former Republican Nebraska gubernatorial candidate Charles W. Herbster, Newsweek reported.

“It’s interesting how the media is totally silent on that. They made Mary Trump into the biggest Trump family, like ‘knowledgeable person.’ This is someone I literally think I’ve seen her once in 25 years and that was at my aunt’s birthday party at the white House for like 90 minutes, maybe two hours. Somewhere in the middle of my father’s presidency. I hadn’t seen her since I was probably early teens prior to that. But they put her on TV as the most knowledgeable person on the Trump family. We’ve never even seen this person in years. It’s just part of the grift,” Trump Jr. told the Caller.

Mary Trump published a book about Trump calling him “the World’s Most Dangerous Man” and has continued to criticize him throughout his presidency. She has accused Trump of using racist slurs and more, something he has continued to deny. In September 2021, Trump filed a $100 million lawsuit against The New York Times and Mary Trump, alleging his confidential tax documents were shared improperly and that his niece was pressured into sharing the information.

Walz has come under fire for signing legislation in favor of putting tampons in boys bathrooms, accusations of stolen valor regarding him claiming to have served in combat and his history and relationship with China. These were just some of the issues Trump Jr. mentioned to the Caller regarding the VP nominee.

“So I hope the media gives them as much attention as they gave Trump family members that didn’t like my father or were willing to lie about him or whatever it may be. That won’t actually happen. But if by the media’s own rules, we should take everything that they say into great consideration,” he continued. “And frankly, based on the rest of Tim Walz’s policies, based on the way he let his home state burn to the ground, based on the prioritization of putting tampons in boys bathrooms, based on his stolen valor and continued lies about all of this, the guy doesn’t seem like a good guy.”

The former president’s son went after Walz and the coverage he and his campaign have been receiving.

“It doesn’t seem like someone you’d ever want in charge of anything, let alone potentially the presidency of the United States. But again, it’s easy to get away with being a liar and a scumbag if you’re a Democrat and you have the media propaganda machine doing all your boosting for you,” Trump Jr. added.

‘I Think It’s Providence’: Insiders Describe Trump’s Renewed Determination, Strength In Face Of Assassination Attempt

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN — Donald Trump wasn’t slated to appear at the Republican National Convention until Thursday.

But when he unexpectedly showed up on Monday, it wasn’t the shock factor that moved delegates and attendees alike, it was his very presence, his walk, his ear bandage, his raised fist in the air and his decision to attend the convention at all just days after nearly losing his life in a failed assassination attempt.

Over the course of several days, social media has buzzed with simulations, photos and diagrams displaying just how close Trump was to death. It was nothing other than divine providence, Trump wrote on Truth Social, and it’s a topic he’s discussed with confidants in recent days, many told the Daily Caller. They described a new strength and determination to meet the moment on the former president’s face and in his voice.

“By the end of [Monday] night, I was able to work up to the rope line. So when he came down off the stairs and walked through, he saw me. He came up to me and put his hand through Secret Service to shake my hand. He looked me right in the eye. He said, ‘that was a heck of a day, wasn’t it? I said, yes, it was, sir,’” Blake Marnell, a California delegate often seen at Trump rallies donning a brick suit, told the Caller. “The truth is, he’s a heck of a guy and we’re lucky to have him.”

Donald Trump Jr. told the Caller he had to wait nearly an hour and a half to get news that his father was okay. In a phone call with his father not long after escaping death, Trump Jr. told the Caller they cracked some jokes.

“I just said, listen, most importantly, how’s the hair? [He said] It’s fine. It’s a little bit bloody. And I think that was probably a moment that we all needed, because my kids and family were around on speaker phone and listening to it. And it was tough. I try to explain to a ten year old that their grandfather was just shot in the face. It’s not a conversation you ever want to have,” he said.

In the aftermath of the shooting, which left one dead and two critically injured, Trump wrote that his life must’ve been spared because of an act of God.

On Saturday, six minutes into his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, the sound of gunshots rang out from beyond the crowd. Trump grabbed his neck before ducking down behind the lectern. Moments later, the former president emerged from a pile of Secret Service agents and with his face bloody and a fist into the air, he gave his supporters the message of “fight.”

Thomas Crooks, a 20-year-old from a nearby area, had perched himself on a rooftop about 150 yards away before firing at Trump in what was later deemed an assassination attempt.

In the aftermath of the assassination attempt and just days before his speech at the RNC, Trump decided to completely rewrite his speech, according to the Washington Examiner. Trump told the outlet that he changed his speech from “a humdinger” attacking the Biden administration, to instead focusing on unity and using his near-death experience to draw the country together.

“I haven’t talked directly to the president. But I’ve spoken with my colleagues and I actually had a good long conversation with [Rep.] Ronny Jackson, who spent the day after the shooting with President Trump. And he said he’s a very different person,” Republican New York Rep. Claudia Tenney told the Caller. “I think he understands and realizes that was an act of God, and he was saved by God. I mean, just the fact that he turned his head.”

After watching the rally with his wife on TV and seeing the events unfold, Speaker Mike Johnson was reminded of the time President George Washington managed to avoid gunfire while riding across a war-torn battlefield in the French and Indian war.

“Coincidentally, historically, the bulletproof President George Washington … the famous story in the French and Indian war in 1755, when he’s riding a horse in an open field and they’re all taking shots and he gets off the horse,” Johnson told the Caller. “He has four bullet holes in his coat, but none of them hit him. He’s just a young Army Colonel at the time, but he writes this down and says, ‘the Divine Providence spirit must be making for something happening in the future.’”

Johnson explained that the Washington story happened less than 50 miles from where Trump was during his rally on Saturday, and just a few days apart.

“I sent that to Trump, and I’m like, okay, maybe it’s coincidence, but I don’t think it is. I think it’s providence and we recognize it as such. And I think President Trump does as well,” he told the Caller, adding that Trump agreed with him that God saved his life.

Shortly before touching down in Milwaukee, Trump admitted that he considered skipping the first few days of the convention in the aftermath of the assassination attempt. But RNC Chairman Michael Whatley knew that was not going to happen, he said Thursday morning at the Faith & Freedom breakfast. The former president was scheduled to appear on Thursday, but he called Whatley up on Saturday with just a few words.

“I’ll be there tomorrow,” Whatley said Trump told him.

Walking into the Fiserv Stadium on Monday, with his ear bandaged, Trump was noticeably emotional as ‘God Bless The USA’ played.

“It really hit home for me watching him come out on the convention floor, and he was as emotional as I’ve ever seen him and I got emotional. Because you realize, okay, 15-30 minutes after the assassination attempt, we got the news that he was okay, all things considered. And then you start thinking, Well, gosh, praise God for him, for the country. Lord knows what would’ve happened to this country had that assassination been successful,” Heritage Foundation President Dr. Kevin Roberts told the Caller.

“But then you sort of move on to the next steps, the vice presidential pick, some of the policies, but then you see him coming. And he is a strong man, and we love that about him right? But to see that very strong man, be even stronger by feeling the gravity of what happened,” he added.

It was an entrance that struck many alike, especially those close to the president, who noticed a different perspective written on Trump’s face.

“When he came in and sat — I’ve been in his company many times when he was in office — he always had this really energized look no matter where he was and what he was doing. It struck me that he looked a little more reflective, still the courageous guy he was with his fist in the air, but I think probably like any other human being he had some different perspective around what took place,” Thomas Hodgson, Chairman of Trump campaign in Massachusetts, told the Caller.

The emotion, in part, Johnson told the Caller, could be because of the weight of the moment Trump feels of his presidential campaign.

“We’ve talked openly about this and so he feels the weight of that and the responsibility that comes along with that. He believes that he has been spared for a reason and as he said in the last couple of days, it is to unify the country and lead it again. And that is a very sobering and exciting prospect.” Johnson told the Caller. “And I think that’s what you see on his countenance on his face.”

Take An Inside Look At The New Conservative Company Fighting Back Against Corporate America’s Woke Agenda

Launched nationally only 13 months ago, PublicSq. — a new “parallel economy” for conservatives — went public on the New York Stock Exchange this week.

PublicSq. aims to be the platform where “freedom-loving” Americans can find “quality products, services, and exclusive discounts from values-aligned businesses.” The company describes its values as “Pro-Life, Pro-Family, Pro-Freedom.”

Company founder and CEO Michael Seifert gave viewers a behind the scenes look into the launch, discussing the goals he has for the company moving forward. He was joined by PublicSq. investors Donald Trump Jr. and Omeed Malik. Malik is a minority owner of the Daily Caller.

Seifert explained, “I think a lot of people view going public as sort of an exit, or a finish line, and for us, it’s fundamentally the opposite. We have a country to save.” One of the main perks of going public, he continued, is “our consumers being owners in the platform.”

Speaking on his desire to get involved in the company, Trump Jr. explained that “half the market’s been ostracized by woke corporate America.”

“We wanted to create a place where people can find businesses and where businesses can find consumers that share a common values base,” he added.

He hopes PublicSq. will “inspire people to be more vocal about the basic tenets of America — freedom of speech, freedom of commerce.”

On his vision for the company, Malik explained that “patriotic capitalism is putting the country first in our economic decisions. You have to have a digital platform where people can find each other.”

“The foundation of any economy is an exchange,” he continued, “and in the parallel patriotic economy, it’s PublicSq.”

Nick Ayers, another investor, applauded PublicSq for already having over 55,000 small and medium businesses on the platform and over one million consumers.

Chants of “USA” erupted on the floor of the stock exchange as the PublicSq. team rang the opening bell.

Trump-Russia Media Coverage: A Parody of Dumb and Dumber

Donald Trump, Jr. and Natalia Veselnitskaya

The media has taken upon itself the quest to deliberately exaggerate anything of no consequence when it comes to Donald J. Trump and his family. This deliberate exaggeration has turned comedic in the media’s quest to find collusion, betrayal or any link between any member of the Trump family and anything remotely linked to Russia.

The media has gone through various stages of mocking and lampooning to what Byron York describes as a “Scandal That Ate Cable TV.” Referring to the meeting between Donald Trump, Jr. and Natalia Veselnitskaya.

The Media is now infected with “Tabloid Thinking.”

Tabloid Thinking makes the media think something is simple because it keeps the media from looking at the complicating details. The media prefers quick summaries and likes to put things in a nutshell. The media stereotypes people or issues with simple phrases. They have deep-set emotions toward those people or issues and like to describe them with catchy phrases.

In an article title “Dear CNN: Russian Lawyer Veselnitskaya Pictured With Obama’s Ambassador To Russia — Is That News?” Clash Daily reports:

The photograph is striking: There sits Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer who met with Donald Trump Jr. and others at Trump Tower in Manhattan on June 9, 2016, seated a few days later in the front row of a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing at which witnesses discussed U.S. sanctions against her country.

The day before, Veselnitskaya was at Washington’s Newseum, attending the screening of a film that criticized U.S. sanctions.

Here’s the video of Veselnikskaya at the hearing:

Clash Daily says “But wait!”

MORE— That looks like Emin Agalarov sitting next to Natalia Veselnitskaya. He was mentioned in Donald Trump Jr’s statement this morning. Emin helped set up the meeting with Veselnitskaya.

Veselnitskaya was also connected to Fusion GPS, the DNC opposition research firm that produced the fraudulent and discredited Trump Dossier.

Source: The Gateway Pundit

The UK Independent reports:

The Russian lawyer who met Donald Trump Jr and allegedly offered to supply damaging information about Hillary Clinton, is apparently linked to a firm that helped compile the notorious dossier of wild and unproven allegations about the US President…

…In a statement, Mark Corallo added: “Specifically, we have learned that the person who sought the meeting is associated with Fusion GPS, a firm which according to public reports, was retained by Democratic operatives to develop opposition research on the President and which commissioned the phony Steele dossier.”

In The Hill’s article “Exclusive: DOJ let Russian lawyer into US before she met with Trump team” John Solomon and Jonathan Easley report:

The Russian lawyer who penetrated Donald Trump’s inner circle was initially cleared into the United States by the Justice Department under “extraordinary circumstances” before she embarked on a lobbying campaign last year that ensnared the president’s eldest son, members of Congress, journalists and State Department officials, according to court and Justice Department documents and interviews.

This revelation means it was the Obama Justice Department that enabled the newest and most intriguing figure in the Russia-Trump investigation to enter the country without a visa.

[ … ]

The Moscow lawyer had been turned down for a visa to enter the U.S. lawfully but then was granted special immigration parole by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch for the limited purpose of helping a company owned by Russian businessman Denis Katsyv, her client, defend itself against a Justice Department asset forfeiture case in federal court in New York City.

If this isn’t a clear example of not connecting the dots by the media, I don’t know what is.

Clearly, the media is infected with the viral “Tabloid Thinking.”
