UK PM Keir Starmer is an appeasing clown. It’s no wonder that just months after taking power Starmer’s approval ratings are already in the toilet.

‘Ever heard of Dresden?’: US Ambassador Huckabee slams UK PM Starmer over Gaza stance

The UK Prime Minister released a statement urging Israel to stop the occupation because he believed that it would “do nothing to bring an end to this conflict.”

US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee bashed UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s Friday statement condemning Israel’s new Gaza occupation plan.

Starmer said that the expanded operations “will do nothing to bring an end to this conflict”, adding that it would result in more bloodshed on both sides.
He continued to say that what the war needed was “a ceasefire, a surge in humanitarian aid, the release of all hostages held by Hamas and a negotiated solution.”
Huckabee responded: “So Israel is expected to surrender to Hamas & feed them even though Israeli hostages are being starved?  Did UK surrender to Nazis and drop food to them? Ever heard of Dresden, PM Starmer?  That wasn’t food you dropped. If you had been PM then, the UK would be speaking German!”

The American ambassador was referencing the US and UK’s bombing of Dresden, during which nearly 7 km of the city was destroyed and at least 25,000 people were killed. Nazi propagandists at the time called it a mass murder.

Germany: Violent Protests Erupt over Muslim Refugees

This chart gives some idea of what Germany is faced with as the government tries to find relocation sites for tens of thousands of refugees.

Up to 1,000 protesters have clashed with police in eastern Germany in riots reportedly sparked by the arrival of 250 migrants.

Police said protesters shouting “foreigners out” and carrying banners against the “asylum flood” threw bottles and stones at busloads of asylum seekers arriving in Heidenau, near Dresden.

At least 31 officers were hurt in violent scuffles as police used tear gas to disperse crowds.

Peaceful demonstrations began after news spread that the town was welcoming a large number of refugees who are set to be housed in an empty building. (then they turned violent)

Chancellor Angela Merkel has said the influx of asylum seekers is the biggest problem Europe currently faces. Germany, which has relatively liberal asylum laws, is taking in more refugees than any other European country, many from war-torn countries like Syria and Iraq.

There is also another bit of news from the UK.  It seems that immigration has surpassed concern for the economy as the number one issue on peoples’ minds there.
