Ceasefire Crusaders In Congress Go Silent After Trump Actually Gets One

Many of the lawmakers who demanded a ceasefire in Gaza over the past two years have fallen silent after President Donald Trump secured one between Israel and Hamas on Wednesday.

Just ten days after Hamas terrorists stormed into Israel, killing civilians and taking both Israelis and Americans hostage, Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib blasted then-President Joe Biden, saying, “This is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire and help de-escalate,” referring to Palestinian deaths in an Israeli retaliatory strike.

Now that Trump has negotiated a deal securing the release of the remaining hostages and the withdrawal of Israeli forces, Tlaib has had nothing to say about the sitting president.

Democratic Illinois Rep. Delia Ramirez, who in March joined colleagues outside the Capitol to call for “ceasefire and an end to Netanyahu’s campaign to ethnically cleanse Gaza,” has also stayed quiet on what amounts to a major step toward her stated goal — the return of the hostages and the “safety, freedom, and self-determination” of the Palestinian people.

Democratic Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal issued a statement Tuesday marking the two-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.

“In the two years since, we have also seen that revenge never brings peace, and war only brings more war,” Jayapal said, referring to what she called the “genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza by the Israeli Government.”

She ended her statement with a call for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire,” but has not commented since Trump announced the deal Wednesday — though she has spoken publicly to blame Republicans for the ongoing government shutdown.

“President Trump needs to quit his bombastic rhetoric and work to return Israel and Hamas to the negotiating table to restore the ceasefire so that the violence will cease and the remaining hostages can be returned home safely,” Democratic Minnesota Rep. Betty McCollum said in March.

She has not released a statement since such a deal was reached.

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, another frequent voice calling for a ceasefire, has also stayed silent.

Democratic Pennsylvania Rep. Madeleine Dean shared a video Tuesday remembering Hamas’ “brutal and barbaric assault on Israel” and said she prayed that peace talks centered on the president’s 20-point plan would bring about a ceasefire, the return of the hostages, and humanitarian relief for Gaza.

Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar — one of the most outspoken supporters of the Palestinian cause in Congress — responded to the news by saying, “For the sake of humanity, let’s hope this will be a lasting and permanent ceasefire. While this is a hopeful step, we must demand accountability for every war crime committed during this genocide and continue to call for an end to the occupation.”

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries called Trump’s deal a “very positive step in the right direction,” adding, “We’re all hopeful that this agreement will be finalized, that the hostages will be released in a matter of days and returned home to their loved ones.”

The offices of the lawmakers did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller’s request for comment.

Trump and the End of That ‘3,000-Year Catastrophe’

On October 4, Trump boasted on social media about his plan to end the war in Gaza in this way:

After negotiations, Israel has agreed to the initial withdrawal line, which we have shown to, and shared with, Hamas. When Hamas confirms, the Ceasefire will be IMMEDIATELY effective, the Hostages and Prisoner Exchange will begin, and we will create the conditions for the next phase of withdrawal, which will bring us close to the end of this 3,000 YEAR CATASTROPHE. Thank you for your attention to this matter and, STAY TUNED!

This is worrisome. Apparently Trump has no idea that this “catastrophe” — that is, the war between the Jews and Arabs in the Land of Israel — began after Islam appeared, not 3,000 years ago, but in the seventh century. In the mid-620s, the Arabs conquered the Jewish tribes in Medina. And then Arabs who had embraced the new religion of Islam swept out of the Arabian peninsula and managed to conquer vast swathes of territory from Morocco in the west to Sassanid Persia in the east. Trump does not know, it seems, that the Muslims first attacked the Jews in Arabia; he has no knowledge of Muhammad’s attack on the Jews living in the Khaybar Oasis; he does not know that the Muslim Arabs, during the Rashidun Caliphate, conquered Jerusalem in 636-637 A.D. Nor is he aware that Muslims believe that Jews are “the strongest in enmity” toward them, and that Muslims believe that Muhammad died from eating poisoned meat at a banquet prepared by a Jewish woman, and that the Jews are, according to Qur’an 98:6, just like all non-Muslims, the “most vile of created beings.” Bringing an end to the war in Gaza does not change that.

The war — that is, the jihad — conducted by Muslims against Jews has no end, no matter what treaties are signed by Muslim Arabs. The model for Muslim treaty-making with non-Muslims is the Treaty of Hudaybiyya, that Muhammad signed with the Meccans in 628 A.D., but after only 18 months, sensing his forces had become much stronger, he broke the treaty on a pretext and attacked the Meccans. That is why the Israelis must be wary of relying on treaties with Muslims. It is clear that Trump knows none of this history. Nor does he know about Muhammad’s two most famous hadith, “War is deceit” and “I have been made victorious through terror.”

Donald Trump fondly believes that in ending — possibly — the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas, he has brought closure to a “3,000-year catastrophe.” He needs to learn much more about Islam, and Islamic history, in order to realize that the “catastrophe,” as he calls it, began when Islam began, early in the seventh century, and that war has no end. The jihad waged against Israel is also being waged, albeit using different weapons, against other non-Muslim lands and peoples, especially in Western Europe. Forty-four million Muslims now live in Europe, where they may eventually prevail, through continued immigration and Muslim fertility rates that are much higher than those of the indigenous Europeans. Muslims know that, as Muhammad said, “Islam is to dominate and not to be dominated.”

What Trump might have said is that he hopes that the war in Gaza will finally be over, with the hostages returned and with Hamas surrendering all of its weapons, and that he understands completely why Israel must rely on deterrence, and not on treaties, for its security, so that the 3,500-year history of Jews in the Land of Israel will not be snuffed out in order to make room for a 23rd Arab state.

Yes, that is what he might have said. But he didn’t. And he won’t.

Two Clear Wins for Netanyahu in Trump’s Gaza Deal

Two things are clear wins for Netanyahu. First, it is not the Palestinian Authority, but a group of Arab technocrats who will take over running Gaza after Hamas surrenders. Whether or not such people can actually be found is a different matter, but at very least, the plan does not allow for an extension of the Palestinian Authority’s corrupt rule.

Second, while a possible Palestinian state might appear in the future, that possibility is hedged in with doubts, that it is likely to never come to pass. Here is the relevant paragraph from the 20-point deal: “While Gaza re-development advances and when the PA reform program is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognise as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.”

How long will it take to redevelop Gaza? How many years just to remove the rubble before rebuilding can begin? And what about the “reform”of the PA that will also take a long time, to remove the PA’s thoroughly corrupt leadership, beginning with Mahmoud Abbas, who, with his sons Yasser and Tareq has amassed a family fortune of some $400 million? Abbas also allows his loyal courtiers to help themselves to millions of dollars in aid. How many years will it take to “reform” this endemic corruption? The PA hasn’t held an election since 2006. How long would it now take it to organize a free and fair election, one in which no Hamas members could run, when the PA has no experience of holding such an election in the last nineteen years?

Note the tone of doubt: “When the PA reform program is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognise as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.”

Will that and reform program be “faithfully carried out”? Will the PA change its ways when its entire history has been one of corruption by its leaders, and of rewarding past and incentivizing future terrorism through its “Pay-For-Slay” program that Abbas has sworn to continue? Note that a “credible pathway may finally be in place” — not “will be in place,” but only “may be in place for a credible pathway…to statehood” — again a deliberate phrasing that suggests a long time line, and expresses doubt with that phrase “may be” rather than “will be.” All along the way there are many conditions placed on both Hamas and Palestinians, which may not be met, from Hamas members refusing to “decommission” their weapons, that is, to turn them in peacefully, or the Palestinian Authority showing itself unable to run an election that is free nor fair, that will relieve Israel of the pressure to agree to the creation of a Palestinian state. The Israelis can be sure that neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority will uphold all their part of the bargain (assuming that Hamas accepts the deal). The “reform of the PA” will not halt the massive corruption that characterizes the PA, and an election held under PA auspices for a new government in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, is bound to have ballot-box stuffing in favor of the PA’s candidates. So for now, Israel need not worry that from this deal a Palestinian state will emerge. It won’t happen.

Netanyahu makes Hamas an “offer they can’t refuse”

Netanyahu presents Hamas with his own Don Corleone-style Deal — Accept Gaza’s political reshaping willingly, or face destruction on the battlefield.

In the movie “The Godfather,” Marlon Brando’s Don Corleone famously utters the line: “I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse.” The phrase has since transcended cinema, becoming shorthand for a mixture of enticement and threat, a promise of a reward if accepted, and dire consequences if rejected.

Today, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, backed by the Trump administration, is hinting at something similar in the geopolitical arena of Gaza.

In Gaza, the IDF Keeps On Keeping On

While all eyes are on the IDF’s planned invasion of Gaza City, with dire warnings coming from so many countries that do not want the embattled Jewish state to defend itself, but instead, to agree to the latest proposal for a ceasefire by Hamas, the IDF has been quietly continuing its campaign of picking off senior Hamas leaders in Gaza one by one. The latest to be eliminated is Mohammed al-Aswad, the head of Hamas’ security apparatus in the Gaza Strip. More on what his elimination will mean for Hamas, and for Israel, can be found here: “‘A significant source of knowledge’: IDF kills Hamas’s head of General Security Apparatus in Gaza,” Jerusalem Post, August 27, 2025:

The Israeli Air Force last Friday struck and killed Mahmoud al-Aswad, who served as Hamas’s General Security Apparatus leader in the Gaza Strip, the military announced the following Wednesday.

Aswad operated as the terrorist organization’s general security leader for Western Gaza, with the military describing him as a “significant source of knowledge” for Hamas.

Al-Aswad knew where all the weapons were hidden, where the intact tunnels were located, where the shafts leading to those tunnels were to be found, where hostages were being kept. He also knew the numbers of Hamas combatants, and their degree of preparation to attack, or withstand assaults by, the IDF in various parts of the Strip. This was information Aswad carried in his head; it would have been too dangerous to have it written down to be found by the IDF should he be killed. That’s why he was such a high-value target.

The strike was conducted following IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) intelligence.

Additionally, IDF soldiers operated in Jabalya and the outskirts of Gaza City, dismantling terrorist infrastructure and killing Hamas personnel, amid the upcoming operation to take over Gaza City. In the northern city, the IDF’s Givati Brigade under the 162nd Division struck a terror cell and located a weapons storage facility, the military added….

The IDF is now attacking the outskirts of Gaza City, softening up the city for attack, and also creating conditions that will lead more civilians to leave the city before that major assault is launched. Jabalya is 2.5 miles outside; it is where more Hamas combatants have just been killed. At the same time, the IDF’s Givati Brigade has struck a terror cell and attacked a weapons storage facility just on the edge of Gaza City. These “softening up” attacks will now be ratcheted up, but the assault deep into the city will be put off until at least a few hundred thousand of the million people now in Gaza City have fled south, to what will be safe zones, as directed by the IDF.

It is not only on the outskirts of Gaza City that the IDF has been operating in preparation for a full-scale assault. It continues its operations in the south of Strip, wiping out large numbers of Hamas troops who threatened to advance on them in Khan Yunis. The IDF has just taken over the last exchange bank still operating in Ramallah. The Jerusalem Post reported on that surprise raid here: “IDF busts last bank handling foreign currency in West Bank,” by Yonah Jeremy Bob, Jerusalem Post, August

The IDF on Tuesday busted a Palestinian bank in Ramallah, the last exchange bank in the West Bank that launders terror funds, the military told The Jerusalem Post.

In a meticulously pre-planned operation, first, the undercover Duvdevan special forces, and later, IDF reservist units for the Binyamin Region, as well as border police, seized hundreds of thousands of terror funds and arrested a few individuals connected to those funds.

With that bank closed, how will the terrorist groups, whether Fatah or Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad, pay their members’ salaries?

Meanwhile, the first article linked above notes:

Additionally, the night before Wednesday’s operation [on August 27] saw the establishment of the IDF’s 607th Engineering Battalion, which the military stated was “established following the lessons learned following October 7,” and that they “began operating for the first time in the Gaza Strip under the command of the Givati Brigade Combat Team.”

This 607th ‘Engineering Battalion has no doubt been tasked with locating, and destroying, more of the hundreds of miles of tunnels that Hamas had built under Gaza; even now, several hundred miles of what the Israelis call “the Gaza metro” are intact; the IDF now estimates that of the 450 miles of tunnels, 75% of that number remain to be destroyed.

All of this activity — in Khan Yunis, in Ramallah, in Jabalya — continues round the clock, while the troops have started their takeover of Gaza City by launching airstrikes in the north and east of the city, in an attempt to force residents to move to safety, out of Gaza City and into the southwestern part of the Strip where the IDF has created a safe zone. It is in that safe zone that the IDF plans to relocate nearly one million Gazans while its operation to destroy what remains of Hamas in Gaza City — the last place where Hamas has a significant presence — gains momentum.

The past few days of IDF achievements, in Khan Yunis, in Jabalya, in Ramallah, and just inside Gaza City remind us, yet again, that the God of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.

Israel Calls up 60,000 Reservists to Support Further Occupation of Gaza

Israel will call up around 60,000 reservists to support the army’s planned takeover of Gaza City, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Wednesday. The announcement underscores the enormous manpower requirements of holding urbanized areas of the Gaza Strip against Hamas. But, as negotiations for the return of the hostages drag on, Israel may have no other choice.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Wednesday approved a plan to occupy Gaza City, codenamed “Gideon’s Chariots II.” The first “Operation Gideon’s Chariots” refers to the Israeli offensive, begun in May, which planned to take and hold approximately 75% of the territory in the Gaza Strip. (The first offensive also involved calling up tens of thousands of reservists.)

The full assault plan involves 12 brigades, complete with infantry, armor, artillery, and combat engineers, as well as two brigades normally assigned to guard the Gaza border, whose ordinary posts will be filled with reservists. These 14 brigades will be organized into five divisions, which will each contain tens of thousands of troops.

The IDF are wasting no time with the new offensive. Even before reserve troops have been activated and deployed, the forces already in Gaza are making the first moves. “We have begun the preliminary operations and the first stages of the attack on Gaza City. IDF forces are already holding the outskirts of Gaza City,” IDF spokesman Effie Defrin announced Wednesday.

Israel planned to call these reservists in waves, with 40,000 to 50,000 activated on September 2, while others would be activated in November/December, and still more in February/March.

Even still, the deployment of these reservists is an extraordinary use of manpower for Israel. For a country of just under 10 million people, 50,000 reservists constitute a full 0.5% of the population. These reservists join tens of thousands of other reservists already in Gaza, besides the regular army. The IDF plans to extend the tour of duty for 20,000 reservists by another 30 to 40 days.

Yet, even with these extraordinary actions, Israel’s military manpower is stretched to the limit. Its manpower shortage is estimated to be between 10,000 to 12,000 soldiers. This manpower shortage has created tensions with the ultra-orthodox Haredi community within Israel, which objects to military service on religious grounds. The IDF has taken to appealing to “Jewish communities abroad” for additional recruits.

Such a large activation of Israeli reservists, amid such critical manpower shortages, signal Israel’s intention to fight its way through Gaza as thoroughly and as quickly as possible, in hopes of rescuing the remaining hostages, of whom just over 20 are still believed to be alive.

On Monday, reports surfaced that Hamas — after much arm-twisting by Egypt and Qatar — accepted terms for a 60-day ceasefire proposed by U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff, which would involve the release of 10 living hostages. Israel’s decision to activate 50,000 reservists only two weeks later suggests it either does not believe the ceasefire is imminent or hopes to capture all of Gaza City before it can be finalized.

Netanyahu addresses Israeli anti-war protesters, reassures Israel about plans regarding Gaza

While Hamas is winning the propaganda war against Israel, particularly among leftists, Israel is trying to garner support for protecting its own country from obliteration. In his latest address to the nation of Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered a brief update about Israel’s plans for Gaza and the completion of Israel’s mission (Courtesy: Israel Government Press Office):

I spoke with the Defense Minister and the IDF about our plans regarding Gaza City and the completion of our missions. Hamas is under immense pressure.

Today I visited the Gaza Division where I met with the IDF senior command staff.

Citizens of Israel, I would like to tell you three things:

First, I expressed – on your behalf, that of the Government of Israel and for myself – deepest appreciation for the great achievements of the IDF in the War of Redemption, the war on seven fronts.

Second, I was impressed by the fighting spirit and determination to complete the defeat of Hamas and the release of all of our hostages.

Third, I spoke with the Defense Minister and the IDF about our plans regarding Gaza City and the completion of our missions.

And like you, I hear the reports in the media, and from them you can be impressed by one thing – Hamas is under immense pressure.”

Netanyahu also addressed Israelis who are taking to the streets, protesting and demanding the  end of the war. He explained that stopping the war now would mean a certain repetition of the horrors of October 7, and would force Israel into fighting an endless war:

5 Days That Will Change The World … For The Better!

“Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you were coming out of Egypt, how he met you on the way and attacked your rear ranks, all the stragglers at your rear, when you were tired and weary; and he did not fear God. Therefore it shall be, when the Lord your God has given you rest from your enemies all around, in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance, that you will blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. You shall not forget.” — Deuteronomy 25:17-19

“Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and are numerous enough to take possession of the land. I will set your borders from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the river [Euphrates]; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand and you shall drive them out before you. You shall make no covenant with them or with their gods. They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against Me; for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.” — Exodus 23:30-33

Hamas Didn’t Want A Deal, They Want To Die: Trump On Peace Talks; Urges Israel To Finish The Job.

Trump said: Yeah, Gaza. They pulled out of Gaza. They pulled that in terms of negotiating. It was too bad. Hamas, Hamas didn’t really want to make a deal. I think they want to die. And it’s very, very bad. And it got, it got to be to a point where you’re going to have to finish the job. They really, they asked for things. Don’t forget, we got a lot of hostages out. So now we’re down to the final hostages. And they know what happens after you get the final hostages, and basically, because of that, they really didn’t want to make a deal. I saw that. So they pulled out, and they’re going to have to fight, and then they’re gonna have to clean it up. You’re gonna to have to get rid of it. Well, the Gaza situation, and I said this was going to happen, when you get down to your last 10 or 20, we got a lot of hostages out. We took them out in numbers that nobody believed. A lot of them. And I said, when you down to 10 or 20, I don’t think Hamas is going to make a deal because that means they have no protection. And basically, that’s what happened. Hamas didn’t want to make a deal. I think, I think what’s going to happen is they’re going to be hunted down.

As Israel is urged to “FINISH THE JOB,” how can this happen?

Contending with Islam — Time for a Modern Black Robe Regiment and Muslim Accountability

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Makes His Country’s Case

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is fed up with the nonsense and lies about “mass starvation” in Gaza, and the world media’s adamant refusal to consider the evidence that Hamas has been releasing photographs of children with pre-existing congenital illnesses, such as cerebral palsy, and presenting them as “starving” and “close to death.” He also wanted to make clear just how much aid has been distributed to the Gazans by the Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. To date, two million meals have been served, but you almost never see this figure reported in the media.

Christine Douglass-Williams posted Netanyahu’s riposte here. A key excerpt:

Contrary to false claims, this is the best way to end the war, and the best way to end it speedily.

We will do so by first enabling the civilian population to safely leave the combat areas to designated safe zones. In these safe zones they will be given ample food, water and medical care, as we have done before. And again, contrary to false claims, our policy throughout the war has been to prevent a humanitarian crisis, while Hamas’s policy has been to create it.

Since the beginning of the war, Israel has let in close to 2 million tons of aid! I know of no other army that has enabled such aid to go to the civilian population in enemy territory.

Now, if we had a starvation policy, no one in Gaza would have survived after two years of war. But our policy has been the exact opposite. We’ve let in, as I said, almost 2 million tons of aid and sent millions of text messages, millions of phone calls, to Gazans to get out of harm’s way.

For weeks, hundreds of trucks loaded with aid have been brought into Gaza, but many of them have been looted by Hamas and what remains simply stays on the trucks, that cannot safely travel further into Gaza. They sit there, mute testimony to Hamas’ endless depredations. Despite this, the GHF has nonetheless managed to get in enough aid to supply more than one hundred million meals. Why isn’t this being reported? Prime Minister Netanyahu is not the only one who wants to know.

The purpose of this news conference is to puncture the lies and spread the truth. But that distortion has been propelled around the earth, almost the way that the Jewish people, who are maligned in the Middle Ages. Every massacre of the Jewish people was preceded by massive vilification. We were “spreading” – we were said to be “spreading vermin” to Christian society, we were said to be “poisoning the wells”, we were said to “slaughter Christian children for their blood”. And as these lies spread around the globe, they were followed by horrific, horrific massacres, pogroms, displacements, finally culminating in the worst massacre of them all – the Holocaust.

Mentioning the “blood libel” may at first be startling, but the more one thinks about the incredible worldwide campaign of vilification of the Jewish state and of Jews, the more fitting it seems.

Netanyahu also clearly laid out the five objectives of the campaign in Gaza:

First, to destroy Hamas as a military force.

Second, to obtain the release of all the hostages.

Third, to make sure that Gaza remains demilitarized.

Fourth, to remove all Israeli troops from Gaza.

Fifth,to turn the running of Gaza over to willing Arab governments.

Israel has no desire to remain in Gaza. It only wants to have its hostages back and to ensure that Hamas will never be able to threaten Israelis again. Who could object to this?

Practically the whole world, it seems. So malevolent are the charges brought against the IDF of “ethnic cleansing” and ”genocide,” so prevalent the herd mentality that was on display at the UN Security Council on August 10, another kangaroo court with Israel perennially in the dock, that Israel has to keep sweeping back the monstrous tide of error, and hope that some of the truth-telling from its defiant, and eloquent, prime minister and other Israeli officials will break through the carapace of lies.

Time Magazine and numerous other ‘news’ outlets used fake, staged photos to show starvation in Gaza

Here is Muhammad’s famous dictum, “War is deceit,” playing out on an international scale.

“This photographer stages Hamas propaganda,” translated from “Dieser Gaza-Fotograf inszeniert die Hamas-Propaganda,” by Moritz J. Miller, Hans-Jörg Wald, and Aaron Deuser, Bild, August 5, 2025:

Berlin – emaciated children, desperate mothers and people who beg with empty pots around food: these photos from Gaza go around the world. They move millions – and influence politics worldwide.

But research by the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” now questioned exactly these recordings: Are some pictures from Gaza specifically staged-and part of a propaganda strategy of the Hamas terrorists?

The hunger is (almost always) real – but the pictures often not quite. A much more common photo recently showed desperate people in front of a meal edition on a truck. Towards you: the photographer Anas Zayed Fteiha, freelance “journalist” on behalf of the Turkish news agency Anadolu.

People wag with their pots, get to eat shortly afterwards. But: photographer Fteiha does not obviously spread the pictures, and at the request of BILD, does not go back on request which recordings he took there.

Possible problem: The scenery, also captured by other photographers, mainly shows adult men who are waiting for food – and get it.

Does Fteiha have no use for this?

His photos – spread by “Stern” and “New York Magazine”, from CNN and BBC, from Deutschlandfunk, the “Young World” and also from BILD – prefer to show chaos, destruction. And above all: children, mothers, suffering in large recording and with perfect lighting.

In fact, the suffering of civilians in Gaza is great. Many people were killed against Israel in the Hamas War, many hunger. However, the staging of need often benefits Hamas and its propaganda.

Because “journalist” Fteiha apparently has an order: “Free Palestine” (free Palestine). So it is on a sultry painting that he presented on his Instagram account-in a combat gear with the proud inscription “Press”. The “artist” who created the picture for Fteiha: an avowed Jewish hater.

Another video has the heading “Fuck Israel”. No wonder, because Fteiha is also active at Europe.palestine.network, a “pro-Palestinian collective” for “global actions in Europe”-which not only documents the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza, but also drives “resistance” against Israel internationally.

An activist, camouflaged as a photographer and video reporter, on behalf of a news agency who is directly subject to Turkish President and Israel-Hasser Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (71), who has promoted, financed and hidden Hamas terrorists for years.

The only question is: Why do German and international agencies use the photos of such an opinion fighter, although many of the pictures are obviously selected or provided one -sided?

BILD asked for photo agencies. The German press agency and Agence France Press said that they would not work with the “journalist” Fteiha and carefully check the pictures of other photo reporters and their reputation before publication. Reuters explains that their photos “correspond to the standards for accuracy, independence and impartiality”.

The German Journalist Association (DJV) warns: parties to war use pictures in a targeted manner-to influence public opinion. Professional. Strategically. Emotionally. Of course, this also applies to Israel, which so far has no independent reporter to Gaza.

Hamas controls all pictures

Consequence: Almost only Palestinian photographers in the Gaza Strip-quite a few with Hamas connections. Historian and photography expert Gerhard Paul on the “SZ”: “In southern Gazas, Hamas controls image production 100 percent.” The goal: create pity in the West, stir up anger on Israel.

And it works! Hardly anyone is more skillful in the propaganda than the Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist organizations: As early as 2002, the then Palestinian chief Jassir Arafat († 75, 2004) presented himself after the occupation of West Bank by Israeli troops in his “fortress” in Ramallah with candlelight and pocket lamps-the lonely PLO fighter desperately in the dark …

An obvious propaganda trick. But even then many agencies obviously did not notice that the video reporters in Arafat “prison” only made the effect possible by switching off all battery -operated headlights on the cameras. Videos showed the PLO leader again in a glistening light minutes later-because “the press” had agreed to enable the great snapshot.

‘This Is The Grave I Think I’m Going To Be Buried In’: Hamas Releases Video Of Emaciated Hostage

Hamas released a disturbing propaganda video Friday showing 24-year-old Israeli hostage Evyatar David, visibly emaciated and digging what he says may be his own grave.

The nearly five-minute clip, shared by Hamas, shows David in a cramped tunnel scratching days off a calendar. At one point, he’s handed a can of beans, which he says is meant to last two days. “This is the grave I think I’m going to be buried in,” he says. “Time is running out.”

WATCH:A living skeleton…’: Hamas releases chilling footage of Israeli hostage digging his own grave

David was abducted by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023. His family, who approved the video’s release, described it as “one of the most horrifying acts the world has seen.”

“We are forced to witness our beloved son and brother … deliberately and cynically starved in Hamas’s tunnels in Gaza — a living skeleton, buried alive,” the David family said in a statement shared by the Hostages Families Forum.

“Hamas’s cruelty knows no bounds,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said. “While the State of Israel allows the entry of humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza, Hamas terrorists deliberately starve our hostages, document them in a cynical, degrading, and evil manner. They are also starving the residents of the Strip – deliberately. They prevent them from receiving aid, then lie to the world and run a false propaganda campaign against Israel.”

Naftali Fürst, a Holocaust survivor, drew chilling parallels to her time in Auschwitz. “We were so hungry, we would even eat grass,” the 93-year-old said, the New York Post reported. “I remember the humiliation — the complete stripping of human dignity.”

U.S. lawmakers, including Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) and Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY), denounced the video and reiterated calls for Hamas to release all hostages and end the conflict.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said, “Despicable, unbearable images of Israeli hostages held for 666 days in Gaza by Hamas. Their ordeal must end. They must be released, without condition. Hamas must be disarmed and excluded from the governance of Gaza. Humanitarian aid must enter there massively.”

Arab Nations Urge Hamas To Give Up Arms And Power In Gaza For First Time

A number of Arab nations called on Hamas to relinquish its arms and rule over the Gaza Strip on Tuesday in an unprecedented move at the United Nations (UN).

The 22-member Arab League — which includes Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar — backed a declaration at the UN on Tuesday calling for the terrorist group to relinquish its power in the Gaza Strip. The move marks the first time the Arab states have collectively called for the removal of Hamas, with many also condemning the deadly Oct. 7, 2023 attacks on Israel for the first time.

“Governance, law enforcement and security across all Palestinian territory must lie solely with the Palestinian Authority, with appropriate international support,” the documents read. “Hamas must end its rule in Gaza and hand over its weapons to the Palestinian Authority, with international engagement and support, in line with the objective of a sovereign and independent Palestinian State.”

France, which recognized a Palestinian state on July 24, also backed the declaration, calling the move “unprecedented,” according to CNN. The signatories will push for a two-state solution to the protracted conflict between Israel and the Palestinian people.

Egypt also had formulated a plan in March to exclude Hamas from governance of the Gaza Strip, according to documents obtained by CNN. Arab leaders discussed the plan, proposing to shift governance to the Palestinian Authority, which currently governs the West Bank.

The U.S. has unsuccessfully attempted to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, withdrawing its diplomats from talks in Doha, Qatar, on July 24. U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff accused the terrorist group of negotiating in bad faith, adding that it is “a shame that Hamas has acted in this selfish way.”

EXCLUSIVE: Trump Issues Veto Threat Against Bernie Sanders’ Latest Anti-Israel Move

The White House is coming out swinging against an effort from independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders to block the Trump administration from selling certain weapons to Israel.

President Donald Trump would veto two resolutions of disapproval offered by Sanders to block arms transfers to Israel, according to a statement of administration policy obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. The administration argues the proposed weapons sales to Israel would strengthen the country’s ability to deter and defeat regional threats, and that the transfers align with the national interest of the U.S.

“The Administration strongly opposes passage of S.J. Res. 34 and S.J. Res. 41, joint resolutions that would block the proposed sales of munitions and small arms to our ally Israel,” the White House document states. “If S.J. Res. 34 or S.J. Res. 41 were presented to the President, his advisors would recommend he veto the joint resolutions.”

Sanders, a frequent critic of Israel, is expected to force the upper chamber to vote on two resolutions blocking small arms and munitions sales to Israel before the Senate adjourns for the August recess. The left-wing lawmaker has lambasted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for allegedly perpetrating mass starvation in the Gaza Strip.

“The time is long overdue for Congress to use the leverage we have — tens of billions in arms and military aid — to demand that Israel end these atrocities,” Sanders said in a statement Tuesday.

Sanders’ measures face steep hurdles to passing the upper chamber due to Senate Republicans’ consistent support for Israel and its war effort in Gaza. Senate Republicans also widely backed Israel’s strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities earlier this year.

The votes also threaten to expose a divide among Senate Democrats regarding their support for Israel and the country’s military operations.

Senate Democrats have ramped up their criticism of Israel over the humanitarian situation in Gaza in recent days with independent Maine Sen. Angus King, a member of the Democratic caucus, calling for an end to aid to Israel, citing concerns that Gaza is experiencing mass starvation.

Democratic Michigan Sen. Elissa Slotkin said on the “Breaking Points” podcast Tuesday that she would explore supporting halting offensive weapons sales to Israel.

“That certainly, to me, would be a place to look, but I’m not going to cut off a blanket next sale on a defensive weapon that comes through, no,” Slotkin said.

The Jihad Against Israel is Genocide

Israel isn’t committing genocide – it’s resisting genocide.

On Oct 7, 2023, thousands of Muslim Jihadis swept from Gaza into Israel, killing, torturing, raping and kidnapping anyone in their path. The victims included not only Israelis or Jews, but Americans and Europeans, Christians and Buddhists, as well as those Bedouins whom the Hamas, PLO and Islamic Jihad attackers did not consider Muslims.

Their rationale was not a “Palestinian” cause or any of the later war propaganda myths about an “open air prison”, but an Islamic religious imperative to drive out infidels. That’s why they named their genocidal campaign, ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ after their occupation mosque planted in Jerusalem that they hoped to reclaim when they had killed or enslaved all the infidels in Israel.

In their earliest statements when they thought they were winning, Hamas leaders emphasized their religious agenda, of seizing the Al Aqsa Mosque and driving out the infidels, not a ‘Palestinian’ cause or the partial Israeli embargo on its limited border with Gaza.

That was the only ‘genocide’ that occured in the last two years. It just isn’t being called one.

The Oct 7 genocide had nothing to do with any ‘national liberation’ for some imaginary ‘Palestinian’ people. It followed over a thousand years of Islamic invasions, mass slaughters, slavery and mass rape across the region. The Jews, once a conquered people, had been the ones to rebel against Islamic rule in Israel through groups such as NILI (Netzach Israel Lo Yishaker – The Eternal One of Israel Does Not Lie) and fight for freedom from Islamic rule.

Muslim Jihads against Jews began shortly afterward. The wars against Israel by Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Muslim countries from as far away as Iraq, Iran and Yemen were not about an imaginary ‘Palestinian’ nationality at a time when Gaza, Judea and Samaria were occupied by Arab Muslim nations, but about the religious and tribal genocide aimed at any ‘Other’ group.

No one in the international community who spreads the lie that Israel’s self-defense is ‘genocide’ has dared to apply that label to the Turkish Islamic campaign against the Kurds, the Syrian Arab Islamic massacre of the Druze or any of the other numerous ongoing Islamic tribal ethnic cleansing campaigns that have made the region what it is. When Muslims claim that they’re the ‘indigenous’ people, it’s because they massacred and enslaved everyone else.

Including the Jews.

Even when ISIS openly declared that it was enslaving and killing the Yazidi people in line with the teachings of Islam, the same voices slurring ‘Zionism’ as genocidal, loudly declared that the Islamic scholars of the Islamic State were completely wrong about Islam. But what ISIS was doing is exactly what was done to the Druze, the Kurds, the Armenians, the Christians of the region, along with numerous other minorities, and the Jews. Jihad is Arabic for genocide.

Since Oct 7, the only tool in the Jihad propaganda playbook has been moral inversion.

Hamas accuses Israel of killing children and then parades the coffins of murdered Jewish children about. It claims genocide, cries famine and cruelty, and demands a ceasefire, even as its leaders promise that once they’re ready, they’ll finish the job and wipe out the Jews.

This discourse is whitewashed and laundered by the media which attributes Hamas war propaganda to “Gaza officials”, “health officials”, “journalists”, “rescue workers”, “police” and anyone else tasked by Hamas with serving as an interface between it and the outside world.

Politicians unthinkingly parrot Hamas lies, including its ceaseless campaign to reclaim control over food aid coming into Gaza by spreading the myth that Israel keeps killing civilians at Gaza Humanitarian Foundation food distribution sites, and the media builds them into towering narratives, propping up the moral inversion of genocide to cover the actual Islamic genocide.

Every accusation coming out of the Jihad propaganda machine is really a confession.

And if there were any doubts that Hamas rhetoric about wiping out Israel and its Jewish population is sincere, the Muslim Brotherhood terror group got a chance to show it on Oct 7. Apologists for Islamic terrorism previously argued that the terrorists acted out of “desperation”, that they had no choice but to set off suicide bombs on buses and pizzerias, but there was no desperation in the massacres that occured when the Jihadis found a civilian population at their mercy. They murdered women, children and the elderly, they beheaded foreign workers, and in their glee, they engaged in brutal atrocities that undermined the larger aims of their campaign.

Lazy journalists might be tempted to call them “senseless”, but that’s because they don’t understand Islam. When the Jihadis chant “Allahu Akbar” while killing non-Muslims, they are engaged in a transcendent religious experience that allows them to feel that they are bringing the power of the murderous deity they worship into this world by defeating non-Muslims. And when they chant “Khaybar Ya Yahood” or “Remember Khaybar, O Jews”, a common event at anti-Israel rallies, they are connecting Mohammed’s ancient ethnic cleansing of the Jews of Arabia to their planned ethnic cleansing of the Jews of Israel and of the world in the present.

The Jihad is genocidal. But that’s because the worship of Islam is fundamentally genocide.

Unlike other religions, the primary mission of Islam is to enforce the will of Allah by destroying the power of all other religions and cultures, subjugating them to the will of an Islamic master race, enforced civilly by the codes of Sharia religious law and militarily through Jihad. Muslim Brotherhood front groups use moral inversion to denounce such statements of the historical and present day beliefs of Islam as ‘Islamophobia’ or hateful conspiracy theories, but they can be seen in the entire history of Islam, in the present day actions of Muslim nations and in the future plans of Islamic movements to spread across the rest of the world and subjugate all of it.

Muslims are currently in a state of religious war with not only Jews or even Christians, but also with Hindus in India and Buddhists in Burma. When a single ideology representing a quarter of humanity has been in a state of endless war with the religions representing at least another 60% of the planet, it’s pretty clear who has the problem here. And it’s not the Christians, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists being bombed, beheaded, stabbed and shot at all around the world.

Israel, America, Russia, China and the rest of the world aren’t saints, but there’s a reason that Muslims typically enjoy more rights in non-Muslim countries than non-Muslims do in Muslim countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia or Iran. There’s also a reason why many Muslims move to non-Muslim countries while few non-Muslims move to Muslim ones. The hate is mostly one way.

Muslim propagandists pretend that like the Arab Muslim Jihad against Israel, branded a ‘special case’ of a ‘Palestinian’ minority fighting against the Jews, all their Jihads are special cases. When Muslims massacre Hindu tourists, it’s because they’re fighting for Kashmir, when they randomly stab people in Europe, it’s because their ‘asylum seekers’ are denied citizenship, and when they bomb churches in Nigeria, it’s because the government insists on fighting terrorism.

There’s always an excuse that positions Muslims as victims and a minority group, a ‘special case’ of a persecuted people desperately rising up in self-defense, but that big lie, a lie so big that Goebbels would quail at it, falls apart the moment you look at how Muslim countries treat non-Muslims, at the way that they ally together to attack non-Muslims outside their borders, and at the mission statement of Islamic terrorists to gather the ‘Ummah’, the collective Muslims of the world, to unite under a ‘Caliphate’ to rule the world. This isn’t victimhood. It’s genocide.

No one dares call Jihad ‘genocide’. Instead the ‘genocide’ label is most often applied to those courageous nations that, alone and isolated, resist the genocidal Islamic Jihad against them.

Israel is one of them.

The Jihad propaganda machine claims that its genocide is ‘resistance’ and that resistance to its genocide is genocide. The truth is as always the opposite. Resisting Islamic genocide is the best defense against genocide. The entire Oct 7 war was set off by an Islamic genocide plot. The closer Israel comes to destroying the genocidal Jihadis, the more they and their useful idiots across the world, shout “genocide”, and traffic in the most outlandish lies and smears to save the Jihadis so that they can launch an actual genocide against the people of Israel.

A few million Jews in Israel have stood off the genocidal campaign of the 400 million Muslim majority of the region in a miraculous and heroic campaign of resistance against utter evil. They won every war, but lost every argument, and the monsters who came to wipe out every last man, woman and child in Israel shout that they are the real victims of genocide, they brandish papers full of fake numbers, they tweet AI atrocity photos and put on makeup for the cameras.

But if anyone wants to see a real genocide, look at the Middle East, a region that was once rich in religious diversity where 91% of the population is now Muslim. How did that happen? Was the prospect of being able to take four wives, marry girls as young as seven years old and bask in virgins with eternally regenerating hymens in paradise so appealing that everyone converted?

History tells us a very different and much uglier story that is still going on to this very day. It’s a story written in bombed churches, captured girls and streams of refugees fleeing the region.

But where everyone else fled or submitted, the Jews of Israel are still resisting the Jihad. They’re not committing genocide. They’re resisting the Islamic genocide that overran the region.

Jihad is genocide. Fighting Jihad is not genocide. It’s resistance.

France Hallucinates a Palestinian State, while Israel Must Confront Reality

French President Emmanuel Macron announced Thursday that “France will recognize the State of Palestine” (or so X translated his words into English). Such recognition is the only way to secure “a just and lasting peace in the Middle East,” he insisted. “There is no alternative.” While Macron may safely indulge foolish fantasies from the safe distance of 2,000 miles, Israel must confront conditions as they really exist.

The basic blunder lying beneath Macron’s pronouncement is that he seeks to recognize a Palestinian state that does not exist. A “state” is a government that exercises sovereignty over a certain people within a certain territory. The only Palestinian entity that fits that description (or did, from 2006 to 2023) is Hamas in Gaza. But Macron insisted on the “demilitarization of Hamas” (again, translated), suggesting that Hamas would lose its power in Gaza.

In fact, Macron announced his recognition of Palestinian statehood in a letter to Mahmoud Abbas, president of the Palestinian Authority (PA), thus implying that he recognizes the PA as the rightful government of Palestine. The problem is that the dysfunctional PA hardly has the territory, people, or even authority to qualify as a state. The word to describe recognizing something that doesn’t exist is hallucination.

Indeed, Macron effectively admits that the alleged Palestinian state is a figment of his imagination. “We must build the State of Palestine,” he urges, and “ensure its viability.” Ah, so the state does not exist now and cannot exist on its own. Furthermore, he declares, “we must … ensure that, by accepting its demilitarization and fully recognizing Israel, it contributes to the security of all in the Middle East.” With this line, Macron even projected his own desires onto the PA. The PA has never agreed to demilitarize or recognize the state of Israel, and it has repeatedly refused to accept deals that would offer it a state alongside Israel.

By re-introducing an approach to Middle East peace that has already proven unworkable so many times before, Macron leaves himself open to the charge that he is “doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.” By presenting this tried-and-failed strategy as the only alternative, Macron exhibits narrow-minded blinders that seem to function as an irrational article of faith — not a trait of great statesmen.

“I’m not surprised that something like that would come from France, from Macron,” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said on “This Week on Capitol Hill.” “I’ve never been a two-state solution advocate because … I just don’t think it’s feasible right now, as demonstrated on October 7th. You can’t divide Israel and put … as a close neighbor, a group that wants to eliminate their neighbor.”

War in Gaza

Macron’s solution to end the war in Gaza is similarly short-sighted. “We must immediately implement a ceasefire, release all hostages, and provide massive humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza,” he demanded. What does he think Israel has been trying to do for the past two years? “The international community, with these types of stunts … are not helping bring this conflict in Gaza to a conclusion,” said FRC President Tony Perkins.

The primary sticking point is that Hamas refuses to release the hostages, and a permanent ceasefire would remove any leverage Israel has to force them to do so. The secondary sticking point is that Hamas routinely robs aid convoys, preventing it from reaching the people of Gaza. The goals Macron articulated align with Israel’s war objectives, but he imagines he could achieve them by snapping his fingers. Snap away, Mr. Macron, and Godspeed!

Rewarding Terrorists

Unfortunately, despite tacitly endorsing Israel’s cause and condemning that of Hamas, Macron’s actions only serve to bolster the cause of Hamas by driving home the point that terror attacks on Israel will be rewarded with greater international recognition for Palestine. “This reckless decision only serves Hamas propaganda and sets back peace,” responded Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Thursday. “It is a slap in the face to the victims of October 7th.”

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz congratulated Macron on awarding “a prize for the Hamas murderers and rapists that committed the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.”

Macron’s “announcement this week compounded a problem and made things much worse,” agreed U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. “We’ve been working on some very touchy issues between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, and we were not there yet. We were moving in the direction. And what he did this week blew it all off the table.”

Huckabee had nothing but mockery for Macron. “What he should do is just give a part of the French Riviera” to the PA, “because he never said where this nation needs to be,” Huckabee joked. “If one nation can just declare another place on the earth to be a state, then I think it would be fitting if the U.K. [declared] France to be a British colony — why not?”

The French are likely touchy about Huckabee calling their sovereignty into question, as any nation-state would be. But why does France think its recognition of a nonexistent Palestinian state within Israel’s borders is any less offensive to Israel? “A Palestinian state in these conditions would be a launch pad to annihilate Israel — not to live in peace beside it,” declared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israeli Response

In fact, the Israeli Knesset did take offense. They responded to Macron on Wednesday by passing a (nonbinding) resolution calling for the annexation of Judea and Samaria in a rare bipartisan vote of 71-3.

“When Europe and other areas of the world decide they’re going to start telling Israel that [they’re] going to let Hamas stay in Gaza, or that [they’re] going to declare unilaterally a Palestinian state, the reaction in Israel is not to surrender,” Huckabee observed. “What happened in the Knesset this week was a message that should be understood not only in the Palestinian Authority … but it ought to be a message to the Europeans: that, when you go out there, and you start pushing Israel to surrender, their response is going to be the same.”

Negotiation Cooldown

Effects from Macron’s decision even cascaded to derail the very ceasefire negotiations he endorsed. After aggressive new demands from Hamas, American and Israeli diplomats in Qatar packed up shop and headed home. White House envoy Steve Witkoff complained that Hamas’s response “shows a lack of desire to reach a ceasefire,” leading the U.S. to seek “alternative options” to bring the hostages home.

“Hamas has never been serious about a peace agreement. They’ve never been serious about relenting on their hatred of Jews and Israel,” reflected Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) on “Washington Watch.” “All they’re doing is playing for time. It’s why they took the hostages as leverage. They don’t plan on giving them up.”

“That is the reality of who Hamas is,” he added. “The sooner we understand and recognize and acknowledge and accept that, I think the better off we’ll be. While I would like a different outcome, it’s simply not realistic with the ideology of this barbaric, religious, anti-West, anti-Israel, anti-Christianity group of people.”

As far as Israel is concerned, talks “did not collapse,” reported Axios. Negotiators merely withdrew to “shake up” negotiations and put additional pressure on Hamas. Of course, it helps Israel’s standing with the Trump administration if it maintains a posture that is open to negotiation. But the prospect for a long-term peace with Hamas — or any replacement Palestinian state within the borders of Israel — is slim to none. Even for the short-term, the prospects for peace are severely damaged by silly stunts like the one played by President Macron.
