Why 3rd Party Will Fail

You may recall that Ross Perot received 17% of vote in 1992 POTUS election which helped throw the election to Bill Clinton who only received 42% of vote.  Of course George H. W. Bush was a lousy candidate with his push for a New World Order and failed 1988 campaign promise of no new taxes.

This is main concern of a 3rd party, e.g. it could serve as a spoiler in case of 2028 perhaps more so for the Republican nominee than the Democrats.

Elon Musk wants to launch a competitive third party. It likely wouldn’t be easy

Elon Musk says he’s forming a new political party, perhaps to compete for key congressional contests. It likely won’t be easy.

The polarizing billionaire had been a close adviser to President Trump, but began floating his idea for the America Party after their very public falling out and Musk’s criticism of Trump’s newly enacted domestic policy bill, largely because it’s expected to add trillions to the national debt.

It’s unclear if Musk — who in May said he would scale back his political spending — will actually try to turn his plan into reality. But he said his proposed party is aimed at providing a political home to centrist voters — or, as he put it, the “80% in the middle.”

Trump himself has ridiculed the idea, writing that “The System seems not designed for [third parties]. The one thing Third Parties are good for is the creation of Complete and Total DISRUPTION & CHAOS.”

Clearing ballot hurdles

Qualifying to appear on a ballot as a third-party candidate is difficult and pricey in many states.

Richard Winger, who runs a website called Ballot Access News, says these days it’s pretty much unheard of for a third party to get on the ballot in most U.S. House districts.

“Libertarians managed to run just over half the seats back in 2000,” he said, “but ever since then, no third party has been able to run for the U.S. House in more than a fourth of the seats.”

A big reason for that is the patchwork of state laws that decide who gets on a ballot. Winger says many state lawmakers like tougher qualifying rules for third-party candidates.

“When they write the law on how a new party or an independent gets on the ballot for district office — in other words, U.S. House and state legislature — that affects them directly,” he said.

Another Major Corporation Bends The Knee To Trump

T-Mobile agreed to kill off its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) policies, joining Verizon in compliance with the Trump administration.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr publicized a letter sent to the FCC on Wednesday. The filing announces that ‘T-Mobile will no longer have any individual roles or teams focused on DEI.”

The letter, signed by Mark Nelson, T-Mobile’s executive vice president and general counsel, also claims that the company “has removed references to DEI or ‘diversity, equity and inclusion’ from its employee training materials  and will ensure that all future training materials are focused on achieving the company’s core business objectives and anti-discrimination instruction, without reference to separate DEI objectives.”

T-Mobile did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

Carr called T-Mobile’s decision to ditch DEI “another good step forward for equal opportunity, nondiscrimination, and the public interest.”

“A big victory for @BrendanCarrFCC — @TMobile is a German company, pushing far-left EU politics in America,” Consumers Research Executive Director, Will Hild said on X. “This should *never* be tolerated and I’m glad Chairman Carr is ensuring they’re ditching their woke European ways in America.”

T-Mobile’s letter follows Verizon’s May announcement of an end to its corporate DEI, “effective immediately.” The company erased DEI “not just in name or in the way [it is] described, but in substance,” following a February letter from Carr, questioning Verizon’s continued promotion of DEI.

Verizon’s chief legal officer, Vendana Venkatesh, claimed in the May letter to Carr that “Verizon is making these changes to its practices not just in name or in the way they are described, but in substance.”

FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez, however, calls this move by T-Mobile a “cynical bid to win FCC regulatory approval,” where the company makes “a mockery of its professed commitment to eliminating discrimination, promoting fairness, and amplifying underrepresented voices.”

President Donald Trump has made efforts since he entered office to cut DEI out of the workforce and out of schools via 2025 executive orders, including an order directing the Labor Department to remove affirmative action terms from federal contracts with an April 20 deadline.

‘We Will Not Be Intimidated’: Federal Prosecutor Says Those Who Assault ICE Agents ‘Will Go To Federal Prison’

Interim United States Attorney Bill Essayli of the Central District of California vowed Wednesday to prosecute anyone who assaulted United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Democratic Mayor Karen Bass of Los Angeles showed up at a location where ICE was carrying out an operation Monday, demanding that the agents leave the vicinity, echoing previous demands from some Democrats that the agency cease its operations in the Los Angeles area as a way to “restore order” in the city after riots broke out following an ICE operation in June. Essayli told “Fox and Friends” guest co-host Griff Jenkins that Bass should have “changed the law” while she was in Congress.

“Let me be very clear what’s going on here,” Essayli told Jenkins. “You have the politicians in California are being openly hostile to the federal government. We are doing our job. We are enforcing federal immigration laws as written by Congress. If Karen Bass didn’t like the law, she should have changed it when she was in Congress.”

“But instead, what she’s doing is she’s signaling to the public that it’s okay to stand up stand up to federal agents to obstruct them, to impede them and some cases, to attack them,” Essayli continued. “This is why the military’s here. It is so critical we have the military protecting our agents. And to Ms. Bass, we will not be intimidated, we will not be deterred from accomplishing our mission.”

Since Friday, gunmen attacked a Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas, and an ICE office in Alvarado, Texas.

“When you look at the number of assaults just that my office here at the U.S. Attorney’s office has charged, it’s exploded,” Essayli said. “Almost every day, we are arresting people for assaulting our agents, damaging our vehicles, getting in our way. And then you saw over the weekend in Texas, you have ICE officers and federal agents get ambushed.”

“Officers were shot and you saw 10 people be arrested and indicted by the federal government there. They are escalating their tactics. What they are doing is not working,” Essayli continued. “And so my concern is things are going to escalate and people are going to get hurt. But I want to be very clear. If anybody gets in our way, if anybody touches our officers, you will be arrested, and you will be charged and you will go to federal prison. You can take that to the bank.”

The U.S. Supreme Court delivered a major victory for President Donald Trump on Tuesday, overruling a Clinton-appointed judge and greenlighting mass layoffs and deep restructuring across the federal government.In an 8–1 decision, the Court struck down District Judge Susan Illston’s May 22 restraining order, which had blocked Trump’s sweeping Executive Order to reduce the size and scope of the administrative state. (more here)

SCOTUS lifts block on federal firings

The US Supreme Court lifted a block on the White House’s plan to cut the federal workforce, likely giving the green light for firings.

President Donald Trump issued an executive order “eliminating waste, bloat, and insularity” in the government in February, ordering agencies to work with Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency and plan staff reductions. But a federal judge blocked the move, saying only Congress could reorganize the executive branch.

The SCOTUS decision only declares Trump’s executive order legal, and expresses “no view on the legality” of layoffs themselves, but is seen as paving the way for cutting jobs.

The court’s current iteration tends toward “judicial minimalism,” resolving cases only on the specific facts, rather than creating broader rules.

Democrats Are Telling Their Representatives They Want BLOOD In the Streets

Axios has a blockbuster story about how Democrat Party activists are literally asking for blood in their fight against Trump. Democratic lawmakers are getting a harsh reality check, according to a new Axios report that claims many of their voters want violence. Not just any old Democratic Party violence, either – but the blood of the electorate.

Just like their pre-civil war Southern Democrat predecessors, they are braying for blood, itching for civil war to ensure slavery continued. Same party, same fight – now they want bloodshed in defense of oppression, suppression of individual rights, destruction of equality for all before the law and the ruin of our nation.

Don’t expect the dying, legacy media to report on this. They are complicit.

(Axios):  Many lawmakers said these voters tend to be white, well-educated and live in upscale suburban or urban neighborhoods. “What I have seen is a demand that we get ourselves arrested intentionally or allow ourselves to be victims of violence, and … a lot of times that’s coming from economically very secure white people,” said an eighth House Democrat. “Not only would that be a gift to Donald Trump, not only would it make the job of Republicans in Congress easier if we were all mired in legal troubles … [we are] a group that is disproportionately people of color, women, LGBTQ people — people who do not fare very well in prison.” The bottom line: “The expectations aren’t just unreal. They’re dangerous,” the eighth House Democrat said. (Axios)

Democratic Lawmakers Disturbed as Their Own Voters Demand Violence: ‘There Needs to Be Blood’

Democratic lawmakers are getting a harsh reality check, according to a new Axios report that claims many of their voters want violence.

Not just any old Democratic Party violence, either – but the blood of the electorate.

Axios quoted several Democrats who were stunned by the rhetoric they’re now hearing from their own base in a piece that was published early Monday morning.

One of nine House Democrats who spoke to Axios off the record said, ”Some of them have suggested … what we really need to do is be willing to get shot.”

The lawmaker added, “Our own base is telling us that what we’re doing is not good enough … [that] there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public.

These weren’t isolated statements.

Axios noted that multiple Democratic lawmakers and aides said they were alarmed by the number of rank-and-file party voters who had told them in recent months that violence was the answer to what they viewed as America’s political crisis.

The publication added that some of these voters said they were fed up with what they viewed as a system that is stacked against them.

Statements Democrats were willing to make without their name attached to them include, but are not limited to:

“[Civility] isn’t working…”

“[Prepare for violence] … to fight to protect our democracy.”

“It’s like … the Roman coliseum. People just want more and more of this spectacle.”

“What I have seen is a demand that we get ourselves arrested intentionally or allow ourselves to be victims of violence, and … a lot of times that’s coming from economically very secure white people.”

No one should be surprised that so-called progressive voters are experiencing bloodlust.

For nearly a decade, Democrats have pushed nonstop doomsday rhetoric about President Donald Trump and the conservative movement.

They’ve compared him to Hitler. They’ve called him a dictator. They’ve claimed without evidence that the country is experiencing a death rattle.

These people incited not one, but two assassination attempts against Trump last summer — that we know of.

Now, Democrats are realizing that their constantly crying wolf and stoking fear has led much of their base to take them seriously.

Axios reported that lawmakers who have faced the brunt of violent opponents are trying to calm tensions.

But the damage is done. This is what happens when partisan media and elected officials normalize panic and desensitize imbalanced people to violence.

It’s liberal voters, egged on by years of apocalyptic headlines, outright lies, and wild accusations.

DOJ ‘Thoroughly’ Investigating Hamas Apologist Group Favored By Democrats

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating whether a Muslim advocacy organization it previously linked to Hamas should maintain eligibility to receive taxpayer funds, according to emails obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review said June 30 that it was currently probing a complaint accusing the California chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) of irregularities in its financial reporting and support for terrorism. The review centers around federal funding California has allocated for immigration-related services to CAIR, a group that high-profile Democrats have embraced for years as a force for civil rights.

“We appreciate your patience as we thoroughly review the matter,” the DOJ wrote to watchdog group Intelligent Advocacy Network (IAN), which filed the complaint on March 13. “Should we require additional information, we will reach out to you.”

Federal officials named CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007 trial of activists who were convicted of running a charity funding Hamas, and the United Arab Emirates labeled CAIR a terrorist organization in 2014, IAN noted. The DOJ’s court filings said CAIR was part of a “Palestine Committee” led by a Hamas official advancing the Islamist group’s interests in the U.S.

CAIR’s local media team did not respond to multiple requests for comment. California’s Department of Social Services, which allocated the federal government’s funds to CAIR, did not respond to a request for comment.

IAN’s complaint also highlights past statements by Zahra Billoo, who leads CAIR California’s San Francisco Bay Area office, in which she praised Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, massacre in Israel as “decolonization” and declared that a slain Hamas leader’s “martyrdom is not in vain” in July 2024. In 2018, former Democratic California Gov. Jerry Brown appointed Billoo to an advisory panel tasked with informing California’s state librarian on “civil liberties and civil rights issues,” state webpages show.

IAN also accused CAIR California of failing to report some government funds on its tax forms, inexplicably awarding subgrants to itself through its regional offices and other discrepancies, citing state and federal documents it obtained. In one example, CAIR awarded more than $3.6 million to “CAIR LA,” a branch of CAIR California that is not a registered tax-exempt nonprofit but a part of CAIR California, records show.

CAIR California called IAN a “hate group” promoting a “smear campaign” in a March press release responding to the complaint.

“We operate in full transparency and cooperation with the State of California and their thorough reporting requirements,” CAIR California CEO Hussam Ayloush said at the time without addressing IAN’s specific claims. “Every penny—not just every dollar—of government grants is accounted for, and transparently and effectively used to empower vulnerable populations.”

The Muslim group denies supporting terrorists or having ties to them and dedicates a section of its website to debunking such allegations. It emphasizes that the DOJ was never required to prove its claims about CAIR in court.

CAIR’s website also argues that its national executive director, Nihad Awad, was not supporting terrorism when he publicly said that he is “in support of the Hamas movement” in 1994, a statement that IAN’s complaint references. Awad and CAIR opposed Hamas after it began suicide bombings and was declared a terrorist group by the U.S., CAIR’s website says. However, Hamas released a charter that called for eradicating Jews years before Awad expressed support for the organization.

“We welcome the DOJ’s confirmation last week that its investigation is ongoing,” IAN told the DCNF. “CAIR-CA’s financial misconduct, regulatory violations, and Hamas-aligned rhetoric make it unfit to retain its DOJ immigration accreditation.”

“Its parent organization, CAIR, was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing case involving Hamas in U.S. history. That legacy continues today through statements and actions by CAIR-CA’s top leadership,” IAN said. “Public money must never be used to subsidize organizations that flout statutory and regulatory obligations or undermine national security.”

The DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review and media team did not respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment.

Netanyahu Surprises Trump With Hand-Delivered Nobel Peace Prize Nomination

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Monday that he had nominated President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Netanyahu and Trump met at the White House to discuss key developments in the Middle East. Netanyahu expressed his appreciation for Trump’s leadership and said he nominated Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize award, Fox News reported.

“I want to express the appreciation and admiration not only of all Israelis, but of the Jewish people and many, many admirers around the world, for your leadership, your leadership of the free world, your leadership of a just cause, and the pursuit of peace and security,” Netanyahu said. “The president has an extraordinary team, and I think our teams, together, make an extraordinary combination to meet challenges and seize opportunities.”

The prime minister praised what he said were Trump’s accomplishments, particularly his role in securing the Abraham Accords.

“But the president has already realized great opportunities. He forged the Abraham Accords. He’s forging peace as we speak, in one country and one region after the other,” Netanyahu said. “So, I want to present to you, Mr. President, the letter I sent to the Nobel Prize committee. It’s nominating you for the Peace Prize, which is well-deserved.”

Trump, who was unaware of the nomination, accepted the letter and thanked Netanyahu for the gesture.

Trump aims to expand the Abraham Accords, an agreement that led several Arab nations, including the United Arab Emirates, Sudan, Morocco, and Bahrain, to normalize relations with Israel. Experts say bringing more Arab countries into the accords would strengthen opposition to Iran and bring much-needed stability to the region.

U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff has consistently hinted that the Trump administration intends to broaden the Abraham Accords. In a June 25 interview with CNBC, he teased significant developments, adding several countries are expected to join the agreements soon.

Gabriel Noronha, president of Polaris National Security and a leading advisor to Congress on national security, said Saudi Arabia’s participation in the accords could serve as a catalyst, encouraging other Arab nations to follow suit. Without a resolution to the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza that satisfies Saudi interests, though, the kingdom may hesitate to engage with the accords.

“If Saudi can get to ‘yes,’ almost all the other nations have indicated they’ll be shortly behind,” Noronha told the DCNF. “Saudi is really difficult, and from what I’ve heard, there’s no prospect of Saudi probably in this year. The Gaza situation really needs to get resolved before Saudi peace can move forward.”

Former Democratic state House candidate among nine indicted for alleged vote harvesting in South Texas

The charges are the latest escalation in a probe that resulted in Texas authorities indicting six other Frio County area officials in May.

The latest vote harvesting indictments in South Texas are the result of a probe launched by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton that Latino Democrates in the state have condemned.

A South Texas grand jury this week reportedly indicted nine people, including the former chair of the Bexar County Democratic Party and a former Texas House candidate, for alleged vote harvesting in a sprawling investigation led by Attorney General Ken Paxton that has targeted Latino Democrats in the state.

Among the indicted were Manuel Medina, who once led Bexar County Democrats and served as a legislative aide, as well as Cecilia Castellano, who lost a bid last year to represent a district that includes Frio County in the Legislature’s lower chamber, according to KSAT, which first reported the development Wednesday.

The indictments add to six previous ones revealed by Paxton in May and are the latest escalation in a probe that last year resulted in search warrants that led Texas authorities to seize Castellano’s phone and raid Medina’s home.

At the time, Latino leaders in Texas condemned the moves while Democratic state lawmakers asked the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate the state for potential violations of federal law and civil and voting rights amid a flurry of what Republican state leaders described as efforts to secure the state’s elections.

On Thursday, neither Paxton’s office nor 81st Judicial District Attorney Audrey Gossett Louis returned requests for comment. KSAT attributed the information in its report to Louis.

Castellano turned herself into authorities on Wednesday upon learning of two charges of vote harvesting leveled against her, her lawyer Don Flanary said. He professed his client’s innocence and questioned the government’s allegations in using a charge whose constitutionality is unsettled in courts.

In September, a federal judge ruled that certain prohibitions of voter outreach efforts in the Texas law were unconstitutionally vague and restricted free speech. But the New Orleans 5th Circuit appeals court overturned the decision when Paxton’s office appealed it.

He added: “It’s highly inappropriate, in my opinion, to be filing these charges now when the 5th Circuit is going to rule about whether the activity is even a crime. … These people aren’t charged with voter fraud. These people aren’t charged with the traditional ways that it’s illegal to get votes or do voter fraud.”

Medina did not immediately return a call Thursday. Neither did his lawyer.

The others charged include the former mayors of Pearsall and Dilley and other local elected officials from those cities and Frio County, according to KSAT. Some of them were the targets of search warrants executed by Paxton’s office in May, according to the San Antonio news station.

Many were distraught by the allegations, Gabriel Rosales, League of United Latin American Citizens’ Texas director, said in a brief interview.

LULAC last year raised alarms about the raids in August in which authorities also targeted the homes of elderly volunteers with guns drawn in early morning hours, the group and targets said.

“It’s very disappointing that they would want to continue to go on with this witchhunt,” Rosales said. “They’re literally in tears.”

The extent of the allegations is not clear. The Tribune could not get copies of the indictments on Thursday. Frio County District Clerk Ofilia M. Trevino said they were not yet available online.

Search warrants obtained by the Tribune last year following the raids showed that authorities were investigating allegations that a longtime Frio County political operator had illegally harvested votes for multiple local races in recent years.

Vote harvesting, or the collection of ballots, is a term used by many Republicans to refer to the process of designating someone else to return a completed voter’s ballot to election officials. The practice is permissible under federal law but numerous states have passed legislation to restrict it, including not letting the ballot collector be compensated or placing a limit on the number of ballots a person can collect, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

The charges leveled by Paxton’s office this spring were under a 2021 state law that made it a third-degree felony for a person to knowingly provide or offer “vote harvesting services” — or the collection of ballots — in exchange for compensation, unless the person is employed as a caregiver for a voter who is eligible to vote by mail.

That includes Texans who are 65 or older on Election Day or who are unable to vote in person due to illness or be away from their county throughout the entire election. Under the law, organizers of voter outreach groups and volunteers could spend up to 10 years in prison and be fined up to $10,000 for offering these services.

“The people of Texas deserve fair and honest elections, not backroom deals and political insiders rigging the system,” Paxton said in a May statement. “Elected officials who think they can cheat to stay in power will be held accountable. No one is above the law.”

Mamdani’s Ivy League professor father added America was the ‘genesis’ for modern ‘settler-colonialism’

New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani’s father, a longtime academic and Ivy League professor, said during a 2022 panel discussion about one of his many books that Adolf Hitler drew his inspiration for the Holocaust from Abraham Lincoln.

The younger Mamdani, a self-proclaimed socialist, has credited his parents with providing him a “privileged upbringing,” one that included frequent discussions on politics and global affairs, according to a New York Times profile on the mayoral candidate and his parents. Mamdani’s mother is an Oscar-nominated filmmaker.

During a 2022 panel discussion hosted by the Asia Society, Mamdani’s father, Mahmood, asserted that America was the “genesis of what we call settler-colonialism” around the world.

“With the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln generalized the solution of reservations, they herded American Indians into separate territories,” Mamdani, Columbia’s Herbert Lehman professor of government, said. “For the Nazis, this was the inspiration – Hitler realized two things: one, that genocide is doable. It is possible to do genocide, that’s what Hitler realized. Second thing Hitler realized, is that you don’t have to have a common citizenship.”

The elder Mamdani also argued during the talk that the racist and antisemitic Nuremberg Laws of Nazi Germany “were patterned after American laws.”

Other comments included claims that there is no difference between “nationalism and colonialism” and that the Allied forces during World War II shared the same goals as the Nazis.

“The Nazi political project was shared by the Allies, and that political project was to turn Germany into a ‘pure’ nation. A ‘pure’ nation rid of its minorities,” Mamdani said at the Asia Society event. “When the Allies defeated the Nazis and went into Eastern Europe, they began to create ‘pure’ nations. To ethnically cleanse Eastern Europe of Germans – move them back into Germany. One crime doesn’t wipe out another.”

Following the political upset in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary, critics began unearthing videos of the younger Mamdani espousing similarly radical views.

One of those moments came from remarks the NYC mayoral candidate made at a Young Democratic Socialists of America conference in 2021, during which he told attendees not to compromise on goals like “seizing the means of production.”

A second included a video from The Gravel Institute, during which Mamdani discusses the need to turn housing from a private commodity to a public one. In the video, he called for luxury condos to be replaced with communal-style living that would include things like shared laundry facilities and food co-ops.

“If we want to end the housing crisis, the solution has to be moving toward the full de-commodification of housing,” Mamdani urged in the video for The Gravel Institute.

Meanwhile, other remarks by Mamdani’s father have raised concerns about how the Democratic mayoral candidate’s upbringing could impact his governing style.

In an interview about his book, “Good Muslim, Bad Muslim: America, the Cold War, and the Roots of Terror,” the older Mamdani asserts that the term “suicide bomber” is a misnomer because they are no different from “soldier[s] whose objective is to kill.”

Here’s How Schools Are Catering To Illegal Immigrants While Avoiding Federal Scrutiny

Several schools are trying to fly under the radar with programs providing education to illegal immigrants despite the Trump administration cutting funding for such initiatives.

The Trump administration on June 30 announced it was revoking nearly $7 billion in federal grants that went towards teaching English as a second language — used in part for illegal immigrants — saying the funds are being used to push “a radical leftwing agenda.” Now, some schools are advising staff to use private messaging tactics and are wiping details from their websites to cover their tracks, The 74 reported.

“Because of the threats from the federal administration about revoking the 501(c)(3) status of nonprofits, we want to keep ourselves from being targeted,” an employee of an organization that works with undocumented youth, who chose to remain anonymous, told The 74. “Anything that could be perceived as obstructing or challenging federal immigration policies, we don’t put in writing. Anything that could be seen as a criticism of the administration — or anything that could be seen as partisan — we’re going to completely avoid.”

Some schools and leftwing activist organizations are advising members to use secure messaging apps like Signal rather than text or email, or conduct conversations over the phone, The 74 said. Staff are also directed not to participate in any protests or rallies in support of illegals to avoid the federal government’s radar.

“We’re not trying to draw attention,” an administrator for an Illinois school district told The 74 on condition of anonymity. “I don’t want any light shining on our district.”

The funding being withheld from schools went towards after-school and summer school programs mainly focused on adult education and English learning for non-speakers. The Office of Management and Budget is currently reviewing whether to release some or all of the funding after it discovered some schools used it for illegal immigrants, according to The Detroit News.

School administrators and consultants are even being advised to avoid certain words in emails, such as terms related to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), to prevent communications from being discovered through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, The 74 reported.

The Trump administration has also taken aim at states that provide special benefits to illegal immigrants, including several that offer in-state tuition prices for illegals. Texas even joined on to the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) lawsuit against the state to overturn the law allowing the policy, with the state now asking colleges and universities within the state to identify the illegal students.

Reining in illegal immigration has been a main priority of the administration, especially after the Biden administration allowed hundreds of criminal illegal migrants to flood into the U.S. Roughly 11 million total border encounters occurred at the southern border throughout the Biden administration.

So far, the Trump administration has facilitated the arrests of over 30,000 illegal immigrants in the U.S., about half of whom it claims are convicted criminals. Border crossings have plummeted since President Donald Trump took office, with no illegal migrants released into the U.S. in May.

Congress unveils an innovative framework to protect U.S. airspace, combining breakthrough technologies with international cooperation in response to evolving global threats. 

Last month, Donald Trump announced an innovative initiative aimed at protecting the United States from aerial and missile threats through the “Golden Dome” program.

Now, the Congressional Armed Services Committee has submitted a detailed nine-point proposal to the Pentagon, intended to serve as the foundation for developing the next generation of missile defense systems and forming the backbone of this initiative.

The proposal comes against the backdrop of recent geopolitical developments—particularly the ongoing wars in Ukraine and Israel—which have underscored the critical importance of robust air defense systems.

According to a recent report by Breaking Defense, the ambitious plan includes several key components. Foremost among them is a call for the rapid replenishment of all U.S. and allied missile interceptor stockpiles, with a focus on Patriot and SM-3 systems. This is to be accompanied by an accelerated deployment of next-generation interceptors under the NGI (Next Generation Interceptor) project, which includes expedited acquisition of capabilities for detection, identification, tracking, and kill.

The body of the article focuses on the creation of a novel sensor architecture that will include sensors for hypersonic systems, ballistic missiles, space-based assets, and maritime and terrestrial air defense components in Europe. Additionally, the program calls for increased investment in cutting-edge technologies such as high-power lasers, high-power microwaves, and AI-driven autonomous interceptors.

A particularly unique component of the program is the development of interception systems capable of neutralizing threats before launch—this includes cyber operations, signal jamming, and the destruction of enemy command and control systems.

Finally, the plan notes continued investment in space launch research and development, while maintaining U.S. supremacy in setting behavioral norms and operational control of space-based weapons systems, in light of the growing threat from Russia and China in developing anti-satellite (ASAT) capabilities.

Active Shooter Reportedly Ambushes Border Patrol Agents

An active shooter with a rifle and tactical gear reportedly shot at Border Patrol agents arriving at an annex facility in Texas on Monday, injuring one local police officer, according to multiple reports.

Police and border agents shot and killed the gunman, who has not been identified, at a McAllen Texas Border Patrol building, Fox News and CNN reported, citing law enforcement sources. Authorities believe the shooting was an intentional attack on border officials.

No border agents were harmed in the shooting, but a McAllen police officer was reportedly wounded and is in stable condition.

The Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

If this party gains any traction, it will be at the GOP’s expense. It will have no impact on the Democrat Party.

On the contrary, it will split the Republican Party just as the Reform Party split the Republican vote in 1992 leading to the Clinton presidency, which we barely recovered from.

Ross Perot snagged 19% of the vote — taken from George H. W. Bush. Bush would have won handily had it not been for Perot.

The only beneficiary of a right leaning third party is the Democrats.

Elon Musk, an ex-ally of US President Donald Trump, said Saturday he had launched a new political party in the United States to challenge what the tech billionaire described as the country’s “one-party system.”

The world’s richest person — and Trump’s biggest political donor in the 2024 election — had a bitter falling out with the president after leading the Republican’s effort to slash spending and cut federal jobs as head of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Musk has clashed with Trump over the president’s massive domestic spending plan, saying it would explode the US debt, and vowed to do everything in his power to defeat lawmakers who voted for it.

Now he has created the so-called America Party, his own political framework, through which to try and achieve that.

“When it comes to bankrupting our country with waste & graft, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy,” the Space X and Tesla boss posted on X, the social media platform that he owns.

“Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom.”

Musk cited a poll — uploaded on Friday, US Independence Day — in which he asked whether respondents “want independence from the two-party (some would say uniparty) system” that has dominated US politics for some two centuries.

The yes-or-no survey earned more than 1.2 million responses.

“By a factor of 2 to 1, you want a new political party and you shall have it!” he posted on Saturday.

Musk also shared a meme depicting a two-headed snake and the caption “End the Uniparty.”
‘Laser-focus’ on vulnerable lawmakers

It is not clear how much impact the new party would have on the 2026 mid-term elections, or on the presidential vote two years after that.

The Trump-Musk feud reignited in dramatic fashion late last month as Trump pushed Republicans in Congress to ram through his massive domestic agenda in the form of the One Big Beautiful Bill.

Musk expressed fierce opposition to the legislation, and ruthlessly attacked its Republican backers for supporting “debt slavery.”

He vowed to launch a new political party to challenge lawmakers who campaigned on reduced federal spending only to vote for the bill, which experts say will pile an extra $3.4 trillion over a decade onto the US deficit.

“They will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth,” Musk said earlier this week.

America was confident that the UN would be an organization which would work in tandem with American national interests in promoting the welfare of humankind and the basic rights of every human spirit.

It has become the very thing it was founded to defeat. They have failed the tortured, the oppressed, the poor, in incalculable ways. The graft and corruption is endemic to the institution.

We need a different organization. ‘The United Democratic Nations,” an organization of free nations, would be more rational. How can democracies and dictatorships co-exist in a world body successfully? They can’t. And so immediately the organization was destined to fail.

Critics slammed the United Nations for rewarding a controversial anti-Israel Commission of Inquiry with four new positions worth up to three-quarters of a million dollars, even as the world body undergoes a severe cash crisis.

“When it comes to spending money for the spread of antisemitism, the U.N. doesn’t have a spending limit,” Anne Bayefsky, director of the Touro Institute on Human Rights and the Holocaust and president of Human Rights Voices, told Fox News Digital.

On June 4, the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Palestinian Territory, Including East Jerusalem (COI), led by South African Navi Pillay, announced four new job openings for senior-level positions in Geneva. These include two P-2 level associate interpreters, one higher-level P-3 level human rights officer, and a still more senior P-4 level human rights officer.

Combined, their salaries will range from $530,000 to $704,000, based on salary scales released by the U.N. and its location-based salary multiplier (set at .814 for Swiss employees), published in a document supplied to Fox News Digital by a diplomatic source.

These salaries do not include other senior-level U.N. employee benefits, including dependent costs, housing allowances or relocation fees.

Bayefsky asked why the U.N.’s “belt-tightening exercise … applies to all kinds of urgent matters but exempts the COI, which has simultaneously gone on a spending-spree.”

“The COI was created to destroy the Jewish state and is now conducting itself accordingly.” She said its latest report, issued in June, is “totally unhinged” and “claims Israelis are like Nazis engaged in ‘extermination’ of the Palestinians, refers to those ‘extremist Jews,’ denies biblical history, [and] fuels antisemitism by claiming Jews defile Muslim holy sites.”

I haven’t even read this whole part yet, just the excerpt here below. But based on that, and the glowing reviews The Baron over at Gates of Vienna gave it, this looks like a really interesting and important piece.

When I wrote Our Muslim Troubles (OMT) in 2011, it was not yet so obvious that the path the United Kingdom was on would lead to some sort of general, widespread, violent conflict among the state, Muslims, and natives. To foresee that conflict and sketch out its contours was to make a bold and analytically complex projection of recent events into the future.

Today, no such boldness is required. A growing number of commentators, analysts, and officials across Europe have publicly acknowledged the serious long-term consequences of continued, large-scale Muslim immigration. Among them are academics, senior military figures, and political thinkers of various persuasions. Patterns of rising communal tension, terrorism, and violent disorder in countries such as Sweden, Germany, and France suggest that the UK will not be spared if underlying dynamics are left unaddressed.

The trajectory towards war now being so obvious, this document will make no attempt to convince its readers that war, in some shape or form, is on the way. My objective here is rather different — to sketch out in more detail how this conflict will likely unfold. In other words, I seek to produce the definitive analytical and predictive pre-conflict document, however immodest that goal may seem. Let the reader be clear on this point — this document is not a work of advocacy, suggestion, or recommendation, much less a work of incitement or glorification. Rather, it presents the ruminations of a free citizen trying to unveil what would otherwise remain hidden.
