VIDEO UPDATES ON YEMEN AIRSTRIKES: Heavy significant bombing

Israel Attacks Yemen: IDF Jets Bomb Hodeidah Port After Houthi Drone Strike On Tel Aviv | Watch

In Yemen, casualties are reported in a mysterious attack that hit the coastal town of Hodeidah and the city’s airport.

According to the same sources, the attack was aimed at oil tanks stored in the area

The Saudi Al-Hadath channel (which is often fed by sources in Jerusalem) claims that this is an Israeli attack in Yemen

The pictures from Yemen show that these are significant targets and intense attacks.

Daring day time attack against the Houthis

This can also be learned from the huge fire that is currently burning in the area.

When Israel damages (according to the publications) the Houthi oil reserves – it significantly damages an important economic source of the Houthis, after 9 months of their significant damage to the Israeli economy at the port of Eilat

Al-Arabiya network claims now that the attack in Yemen — Is by Israel, the USA and the UK — but this is as yet unconfirmed.

Houthis firing missiles at attacking jets

The Houthis are said yo be firing surface-to-air missiles at the fighter jets.

Extensive damage is said to have been caused to oil reservoirs in the port of Hudiedah.

A senior American who spoke with Barak Ravid informed: Israel is behind the attack in Yemen.

Houthis: “The response to the Israeli attack is inevitable”

Senior sources in Yemen: “The response to the Israeli attack is inevitable.” According to the reports, there are dead and wounded. In addition, widespread power outages were reported in the area after the power station in Hodeidah was attacked.

Here are several reports coming in on Air attack on Yemen port city of Hodeidah

American source: “Israel is behind the attack in Yemen”

  • Reports of power outages throughout the attack area in Hodeidah, Yemen.
  • The Yemenis report a number of dead and wounded in the area. And at the same time it is reported that “painful revenge” will come to Israel and it will come.
  • The attack in Yemen targeted oil installations in the port town of Hodeidah. It can be estimated that beyond the casualties reported in Yemen, the economic damage is also very large.
  • Saudi news channel reports on 10 attacks carried out on the port of Hodeidah
  • Hezbollah telegram account: Yemeni Ministry of Health: Martyrs and wounded as a result of Israeli enemy raids on oil storage facilities in the port of Hodeidah.

NEWSRAEL: If this is an IAF attack – it would be the first Israeli attack after 9 months of Yemeni attacks, in which the Biden administration demanded we do not respond.

Behind the unusual scenes of the attack in Yemen

Prime Minister Netanyahu insisted on a significant attack, and not a relatively minor “demonstration of capability” as was done in Iran.

In the end, and after confrontations in the room, Netanyahu’s line was accepted and it was decided to attack the Houthis’ oil infrastructure.

This goal was chosen for several reasons:

  1. The Houthis have almost no sources of income except for the oil industry – we hit them where it hurts the most.
  2. A message to Iran: your oil facilities, which are no further than those of the Houthis – next in line.
  3. A strong mind effect due to the massive explosions in the refineries and other oil infrastructures.

The Air Force planes covered a distance of about 4,000 km (round trip), as mentioned – slightly greater than the distance to Iran and back. Squadron 120 (“Desert Giants”) participated in the attack, the refueling squadron of the Air Force, which helped the attack planes reach their destination and return safely.

DM Gallant: “The fire that burning in Yemen can be seen all over the Middle East”

The first time the Houthis harmed an Israeli citizen, we prepared them — we will do it as much as it takes, the blood of Israeli citizens is not in vain”

“I have now left the air force pit where I stayed together with the prime minister, the chief of staff and the commander of the air force following the attack by the air force planes in the port of Hodeida, 2,000 kilometers from the State of Israel.”

“The fire now burning in Hodeidah is seen all over the Middle East and this matter has clear implications. The Houthis have attacked us over 200 times – the first time they hit an Israeli citizen we prepared them and we will do it wherever this is required.’

VIDEOS: The Houthi Ansar Allah Movement In Its Own Words

Yemen | Special Dispatch No. 11303

Since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which broke out following the deadly attack perpetrated in Israel by Hamas on October 7, 2023, the Houthi Ansar Allah movement has carried out dozens of attacks targeting Israel and Israeli interests as well as American and other Western marine vessels in the Red Sea, the Bab El-Mandeb Strait, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea. Severely disrupting global trade, these attacks have drawn the world’s attention to the Houthi movement, which is a proxy of Iran. The Houthis, for their part, are using this attention in a bid to shed their image as an Iranian proxy. They seek to elevate their international stature and position themselves as an influential regional power in their own right, part of the anti-American global axis that comprises Russia, China and the BRICS[1] countries.

Virulent hatred for the U.S., Israel, and the Jews, to the extent of blatant antisemitism, is an integral part of the Houthi identity and is used by the Houthi leadership to gain sympathy and support among the Yemeni population. The most obvious expression of this hatred is the movement’s motto: “Allahu akbar, death to America, death to Israel, cursed be the Jews, victory to Islam.” The U.S., Israel and the Jews are presented as the enemies of Islam and of mankind in speeches and sermons by Houthis leaders and clerics, at mass rallies and in activities for children. Over the years MEMRI has translated dozens of these speeches, sermons and statements from Houthi officials and reported on military parades and rallies in areas under Houthi control.

The following is a review of reports and videos published by MEMRI in this context.

The Houthis Seek To Position Themselves As A Regional Power Opposing The U.S. And The West

On March 16, 2024, Ali Al-Qahoum, a member of Ansar Allah’s political bureau, published a post on X praising the Houthi role in the struggle against the “hegemony” of the U.S., Britain and the West. The post reads: “There is a continuous development in the international relations between Yemen, Russia, China, and the BRICS countries, and an exchange of experience and expertise in various fields. This is due to a common interest in drowning America, Britain, and the West in the swamp of the Red Sea and the high seas. [Our] goal is to make it [the U.S.] sink and disappear, and weaken its unipolarity.

“This is not only an analysis, but rather a clear and present reality. Yemen… entered the equation of supporting Palestine and ably strengthened the equation of the Red Sea, which constitutes a major and strategic equation with major effects and implications on the balance of the military, security, political and economic results. Yemen achieved this with unparalleled vigour and pride thanks to Allah, our brave, wise, and beloved leader, and proud nation, to such an extent that the superpowers began knocking on its [Yemen’s] doors, coordinating and building mutual relations with it, making arrangements for the foreseeable future, and preparing for the historic defeat of America, Britain, and the West, and the collapse of the colonial project and Western hegemony in the region and the world.”

Houthi Shura Council Member: Everyone Hostile To America Is Our Friend, We Will Welcome Exchange Of Military Expertise

On March 17, 2024, Abdulsalam Jahhaf, a member of the Houthi Shura Council, shared a post on X defending the group’s “right” to establish international relations with countries hostile to the U.S. The post reads: “We have the right to establish relations with Russia, China, Iran, the BRICS countries, Cuba, and [North] Korea. Everyone hostile to America is our friend. We will widely accept alliances and exchange of military expertise and information. This is a natural result of the West’s aggression against us and against our people in Gaza, under the leadership of America.”

Strengthening Relations With Palestinian Factions; Coordination With Hamas Regarding Crew Of Highjacked “Galaxy Leader” Ship

On March 15 and 16, 2024, it was reported that representatives of the Houthi Ansar Allah movement and senior officials from three Palestinian factions – Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestinian (DFLP) – had held a meeting in Lebanon to discuss coordination between them in the context of the war against Israel in the Gaza Strip. The Houthis stressed their willingness to continue with “assistance operations” in the Red Sea, the Bab El-Mandeb Strait, and the Indian Ocean for the next two years.

On March 7, 2024, the Qatar-based Al-Jazeera website published an article about the collaboration between the Houthis and Hamas, against the backdrop of the war in the Gaza Strip. The article quoted senior Houthi and Hamas officials who claimed that the two movements had also coordinated the decisions regarding the crew members from the Galaxy Leader commercial vessel that was hijacked by the Houthis on November 19, 2023.

REUTERS: Iranian and Hezbollah Commanders Help Direct Houthi Attacks in Yemen

NEWSRAEL: It is time that the West – and first of all the USA stops treating Iran proxies as if Iran has nothing to do with them. There are no attacks without Iranian hands funding, training and ordering them!

DUBAI, Jan 20 (Reuters) – Commanders from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and Lebanon’s Hezbollah group are on the ground in Yemen helping to direct and oversee Houthi attacks on Red Sea shipping, four regional and two Iranian sources told Reuters.

Iran – which has armed, trained and funded the Houthis – stepped up its weapons supplies to the militia in the wake of the war in Gaza, which erupted after Iranian-backed militants Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, the four regional sources said.

Tehran has provided advanced drones, anti-ship cruise missiles, precision-strike ballistic missiles and medium-range missiles to the Houthis, who started targeting commercial vessels in November in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, the sources said.

IRGC commanders and advisers are also providing know-how, data and intelligence support to determine which of the dozens of vessels traveling through the Red Sea each day are destined for Israel and constitute Houthi targets, all the sources said.

Washington said last month that Iran was deeply involved in planning operations against shipping in the Red Sea and that its intelligence was critical to enable the Houthis to target ships.

In response to a request for comment for this story, the White House pointed to its previous public comments about how Iran has been supporting the Houthis.

In his weekly news conferences, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani has repeatedly denied Tehran is involved in the Red Sea attacks by the Houthis. The IRGC public relations office did not respond to request for comment.

Are we toast? Saudi king is dead; ISIS expands; we’re abandoning Yemen and Iran has a missile launcher

On Tuesday evening President Obama stated, “the shadow of crisis has passed and the state of the union is strong” — and of course the blind followers cheered.

Obama also hinted that we had “turned the page” on our fight against terrorism. Remember his unilateral declaration at the National War College that the war on terror had ended — and of course he has commanded that combat operations end in two theaters of operation; Iraq and Afghanistan.

But nothing could shine the light on President Obama’s naiveté (or approval?) more than the fact that just 48 hours after he dismissed the “shadow of crisis,” we are evacuating yet another U.S. Embassy — this time in Yemen.

It’s the same Yemen that just last fall, Obama referred to as the model of his success — just like Vice President Joe Biden once chimed that Iraq would be one of Obama’s greatest successes. When Obama said the shadow of crisis has passed, we had three U.S. Naval warships off the coast of Yemen ready to evacuate the embassy.

And if you’ve forgotten, this is the second U.S. Embassy to be evacuated in less than a year — the other being Libya…y’all remember the swan diving jihadists? This hardly reflects a state of the union that is strong. What it does reflect is a foreign policy of abject failure, resulting from the Obama “pivot” away from the Middle East.

And so now we have the Houthis, whose slogan is “Death to America, Death to Israel” by the way. We reported on them late last year, of course no one cared. Just the same as a year ago this week, when President Obama referred to ISIS as a “jayvee” team. The al-Houthi Islamist group is Shiite and backed by — yep, you got it — that nondescript country called Iran about whom Obama threatened a veto if Congress passed legislation restoring sanctions.

Let me put this all into perspective.

Yemen is home to the most vicious al-Qaida affiliate — yeah I know, they’re decimated and on the run – al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). This is the same group which claimed responsibility for the recent Paris Islamic terrorist attack.

There are now reports that ISIS is expanding into Yemen and as we reported last year, AQAP was seeking a pledge of alliance with ISIS. Yes, the Houthis and al- Qaida don’t exactly get along — but the Houthis are backed by Iran — who we are assisting the fight against ISIS in Iraq, along with their support to Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

And the Obama administration just announced it would send 400 advisors/trainers to Syria. But we’re allowing Iran to pursue its nuclear program, 10,000 centrifuges,– and the Washington Post just gave President Obama three more Pinocchios for his SOTU assertion that Iran’s nuclear program has slowed down. And as you know, Obama threatened to veto congressional action to sanction Iran.

Why should we kinda care? The Yemeni government was pro-American and was aiding in the fight against Islamists within their borders. Now, not only has the Yemeni government been toppled, it has been replaced with the specter of Iranian influence in the vicinity of a chokepoint entering the Red Sea — and not far from Somalia — yet another hot bed of Islamism.

Now, add on top of this hot fudge sundae the fact that King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia just passed away. Yemen is the southernmost country on the Arabian Peninsula where chaos now abounds at a time of a transition of leadership in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudis are Sunni and cannot be too happy with the Obama administration’s lack of focus and resolve in the face of Iranian regional hegemonic designs. So what does Saudi Arabia do? In concern for their own existence will the Saudis provide material support to Sunni Islamic terrorists in order to defeat the Iranian-backed Houthis?

And there is another wild card to this equation, as reported by The Algemeiner, “The Israeli satellite imaging company ImageSat released images from Iran revealing a new nuclear development site. The images show what appears to be a new missile launcher that stands 89 feet tall and is capable of launching a nuclear missile to Israel or Europe, according to a report by Israel’s Channel 2.”

“Among the new nuclear developments pictured was a large long-range missile, never seen before in the West. The missile is powerful enough to launch a satellite or a manned spacecraft, the report said.”

Now does this sound like someone with whom we should — or even can – be negotiating?

Ladies and gents, I know some of you may feel, who cares, let them all kill each other. Yes, to a point they will, but the shadow of crisis will not pass that easily.

From Libya extending all the way to Pakistan, and probably beyond, militant Islam has taken root and is exporting its terror and hatred all over the globe. And the policy of this administration is to remain in a state of denial. America sides with Turkey and Qatar. America is releasing Islamic terrorists back onto the battlefield. All the while w’re told move along, nothing here to see.

There’s lots to see, and my greatest concern is that the situation only worsens in these final two years of the Obama reign.

What can we do? Well, first we gotta pray — and I am serious folks. The situation in which we find ourselves is a perfect storm benefitting the Islamic fascists. Not only are they on the move and consolidating their gains while increasing recruitment, we are enabling it by decimating our own military capacity.

We must develop a strong, potent, expeditionary and lethal strike operations-oriented force for the 21st century battlefield. And I’m not talking about any “smart power” or nuanced rhetorical response, but rather a deterrent force capable of deployment and employment in any geographical contingency area.

This is not about nation building. And at some point in time we will have to combat the enemy’s ideology — we must defeat his belief system in order to delegitimize him. Challenge the enemy and make them own their actions — and stop being Islamapologists.

The crisis has not passed; it’s right here and all over the globe — heck, there’s even a Russian naval warship docked in Cuba while our state department bureaucrats are there to discuss opening up diplomatic and travel relations.

Can we really say that the state of our union is strong? If you believe that then you’re in a state of delusion. And remember, weakness is enticing.
