These Democratic Mayors Said Their Cities Were ‘Sanctuaries.’ Then The Migrants Showed Up

Democratic mayors who once touted their cities as sanctuaries for illegal migrants are now complaining about receiving migrants bused from the border.

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott began busing illegal migrants to Washington, D.C., in April, New York City in early August and Chicago in late August. Republican Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey also began busing illegal migrants to Washington in May.

All of the destinations are considered sanctuary cities, which means illegal migrants’ immigration statuses won’t be reported to authorities. Despite their open rhetoric towards illegal migrants, the Democrat mayors running those cities are now complaining about the arriving buses.

Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser declared a “public emergency” Thursday to surge more resources as the city continues to receive illegal migrants bused from Texas and Arizona.

Bowser spokesperson LaToya Foster referred the Daily Caller News Foundation to the announcement, which established an Office of Migrant Services.

“We hope this will address any questions that you have that clearly demonstrates and details Mayor Bowser’s commitment and hard work,” Foster said.

Bowser has tweeted since 2016 about Washington’s status as a “sanctuary” for illegal migrants, but is critical of Abbott’s and Ducey’s effort.

“Washington, DC is a sanctuary city. We protect the rights and humanity of all our residents, and our #DCValues and our local culture are guided by a celebration of diversity and inclusivity,” Bowser said in 2018.

Lightfoot complained on Sept. 1 that Abbott’s effort is “racist and xenophobic,” despite the fact that she’s advertised Chicago as a sanctuary city for years.

“Yes, Chicago must be a sanctuary city,” Lightfoot said in 2019. “We’ve got to stand up to the Trump administration’s racist, anti-immigrant terror and make sure every Chicagoan is safe, regardless of citizenship status. And we’ve got to strengthen the Welcoming City Ordinance by eliminating carve-outs.”

Adams, who has advocated for his city to “remain a sanctuary,” called Abbott’s busing strategy “horrific.”

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has encountered over 1.9 million migrants at the southern border between Oct. 2021 and July 2022.

Abbott has bused over 7,900 illegal migrants to Washington, over 2,200 illegal migrants to New York City and over 300 illegal migrants to Chicago, according to a statement his office shared with the DCNF. Ducey has sent 1,715 illegal migrants to Washington, his office told the DCNF.

Adams’ and Lightfoot’s offices didn’t respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment.

One North Carolina group is monitoring the most heinous of all crimes—the rape of children by illegal aliens.

According to their website:

North Carolinians For Immigration Reform and Enforcement (NCFIRE) reports on a monthly basing crimes committed by illegal aliens.

NCFIRE verifies the illegal alien status of each individual we post in our Monthly Child Rape reports through the arresting agency of each individual.

Pursuant to the state open records law, North Carolina General Statutes; Public Records § 132-1, Criminal investigations, § 132-1.4, and Access to Records, § 132-9, allow for NCFIRE to obtain and post the arrest records of any and all individuals arrested in North Carolina.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) reported the following serious crimes committed by illegal aliens in April and May of 2022 against women and children:

  • On April 19, police in Grovetown, Georgia, arrested Jorge Pineda-Barbosa for allegedly sexually assaulting over 20 women in the area. (WJBF.com, May 3, 2022)
  • On April 25, Yesenia Ramirez and Jose Roman Portillo kidnapped three-month-old Brandon Cuellar in San Jose, California, while the infant’s grandmother was unloading groceries in front of her residence in broad daylight. Fortunately, the baby was found safe twenty hours following the kidnapping. An illegal alien from El Salvador, Yesenia Ramirez had been deported three times: once in 2018, and twice in 2019. (New York Post, April 29, 2022; Breitbart News, May 9, 2022)
  • On May 2, Honduran national Delmer Orlando Ortiz Licona attempted to kidnap a 4-year-old boy in Lubbock County, Texas. He was also accused of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl – the daughter of his girlfriend at the time – on August 8, 2021. (Breitbart News, May 25, 2022; KCBD.com, May 25, 2022)
  • In May, police arrested Ronaldo Saul Monteroso Gonzalez for allegedly raping his toddler daughter – whom he also infected with Chlamydia – in Davidson County, Tennessee. Although the child was tested for sexual assault in late February, Monteroso Gonzalez was only arrested in May because the authorities were unable to locate him. ICE has placed a detainer on Monteroso Gonzalez. (ScoopNashville.com, May 12, 2022; Breitbart News, May 18, 2022)
  • On May 19, Reymundo Loa Rodriguez was arrested and charged with allegedly drugging and raping a woman in Wichita Falls, Texas. According to Breitbart News, “Wichita County Jail records show Rodriguez was previously arrested in June 2003 for theft and in October 2013 for assault in a domestic dispute. For each of those arrests, Rodriguez was released within 24 hours.” (Texomashomepage.com, May 23, 2022; Breitbart News, May 30, 2022)

We support limiting our jobs and resources to the citizens of North Carolina and we believe that it is time for our Legislators to adhere to their oath of office, “to support the Constitution of the United States; and to be faithful and bear true allegiance to the State of North Carolina” by passing the appropriate legislation to curtail the influx of illegal aliens into our state.

Our Position Statement

“We, as Citizens of the State, call upon the Legislators of North Carolina, to honor their oath of office to support and defend the Constitution of North Carolina, by passing the necessary and appropriate legislation to:”

1) Mandate English as the official language of N.C.

2) Require a valid photo I.D. to vote.

3) Require all companies (public and private) doing business in N.C. to become E-Verify compliant.

4) Mandate stricter punishments and stiffer penalties for hiring illegal aliens in N.C.

5) Enact a N.C. version of Arizona’s SB1070 law to document proof of legal entry and the right to be within N.C. borders.

6) Deny enrollment of illegal aliens to N.C. colleges and universities.

7) Eliminate taxpayer funding to N.C. colleges and universities that allow illegal aliens to enroll.

8) Restrict foreign consulate services to consulate property only.

9) Deny taxpayer funding to any N.C. municipality, town, city or county that supports sanctuary policies for illegal aliens.

10) Require proof of citizenship and residency for all N.C. social welfare eligibility.

11) Cut taxpayer funding to all non-profit organizations in N.C. that provide assistance and/or benefits to illegal aliens.

12) End taxpayer funding of all N.C. ethnic councils.

13) Tighten N.C. vehicle laws by impounding cars driven by unlicensed and uninsured drivers.

14) Restrict the registration of motor vehicles in N.C. to legal N.C. residents only.

It may be calling, emailing or faxing your Congressman, signing a petition, attending a rally or to notify you of an upcoming Bill to be voted on in the NCGA. The member contact list is divided up into sections according to their N.C. postal zip code. Information can be sent to specific areas of N.C. according to that zip code. This way, important information can be distributed regionally and action can be taken very quickly.

Not only is the Biden administration a global embarrassment, but it is also destroying America from within. The American Southwest border has seen a whopping 6000-8000 illegals a day enter, and it is now projected that the number will “quickly double” since the announcement of the end of the CDC Emergency Title 42 expulsion authority.

Since anyone is free to slip through America’s borders — including criminals, dealers and jihadists — it is no surprise that five sexual predators were arrested in the West Texas border sector in a week, or that U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized 123 pounds of drugs at El Paso area ports of entry over the past weekend.

While Biden builds a voter base comprising of illegals, America continues to crumble.

“EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: 250 Migrants Appear in One Hour in West Texas Town,” by Randy Clark, Breitbart, April 12, 2022:

EAGLE PASS, Texas — Border Patrol agents scrambled to respond to several large migrant groups early Tuesday. The migrants made landfall just south of the city in a steady flow to surrender. One subgroup of more than 100 were mostly Cubans.

Border Patrol agents took the group of mostly adult males into custody and began the task of gathering basic biographical information and inventories of personal property. Several Border Patrol trucks brought more migrants to a roadway from the riverbank. There were some female migrants carrying infants and young children.

According to a Customs and Border Protection source, the flow of migrants just south of the city has been steadily increasing since the announcement of the end of the CDC Emergency Title 42 expulsion authority. The CDC announced on April 1 that the emergency order will expire on May 23. As word of the program’s sunset spreads, the source says the increase in migrant crossings is likely to grow.

The source says daily apprehension totals are between 6,000 to 8,000 migrants per day across the entire southwest border – a figure which could quickly double. Even at the current pace, Border Patrol facilities are experiencing overcrowding….

In a troubling exclusive that mainstream media continues to avoid, Breitbart reports about the crisis at the Southern border.

The role of government is to improve the lives of its citizens and prioritize national security, but that’s not Joe Biden’s concern.

In a relatively short space of time, Biden’s leadership has been catastrophic for America. His mishandling of Afghanistan, his reckless open-door immigration policy, his disastrous pursuit of a new Iran nuclear deal, his incompetence in dealing with Russia, and more — there is just no end in sight to the damage that Biden continues to do to American interests.

Few among media have adequately covered the crime and national security risks posed by the wide-open Southern border. On top of everything else, there is a jihad threat. In 2019, the Mexico “terror path” was proven, as jihadis infiltrated the refugee stream and entered the U.S. Judicial Watch stated:

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Border Crisis Disrupts Texas Ranchers’ Lives ‘Worse than Ever,’ Says Governor

EAGLE PASS, Texas — Thousands of migrants marching through Texas ranches as far as 80 miles from the U.S. border continues to disrupt the lives of those who live and work in these regions. Governor Greg Abbott told Breitbart Texas the chaos and crime in these areas are “worse than it has ever been.”

“Their lives have been disrupted like never before,” Governor Abbott said in an exclusive interview late last week. “There are people coming in across the border and going onto the land, cutting fences that hold in cattle, sometimes cattle are lost as a result of it.”

He said these trespassers are “breaking into homes, destroying property, sometimes, pointing a gun at people’s heads. It is worse than it’s ever been.”

The governor said the volume of migrant crossings adds to the created chaos on ranches in south Texas. He added that this is not simply unaccompanied minors or family units that are making the trek through the ranches.

“These are people who are trying to not get caught,” Abbott explained. “People who are coming here, some of whom have criminal records. We know that because of some of the people we have arrested.”

Breitbart Texas spoke with officials with the Texas Military Department about the arrests taking place by brush team soldiers on ranches.

“Over the past 90 days, the brush team has supported more than 1,000 apprehensions along the Texas-Mexico border,” TMD Director of Communications Rita Holton told Breitbart. “Approximately 30 percent of these individuals apprehended had a prior criminal record for activities such as sexual assault, drug smuggling, and human smuggling.”

A TMD military officer who commands the brush team operations told Breitbart they are the “last line defense” against the migrants who intend to get into the U.S. interior without being screened or apprehended.

“We use a variety of sensors and techniques to identify where these folks are coming from and where they are going,” the officer stated. “We are on our feet eight to 15 miles per night using ‘old school tracking’ and the technology available for our mission.”

He explained groups range in size from five migrants to more than 50 at a time. “Some of these have criminal histories that include narcotics smuggling or sexual assault.”…

These illegal aliens have been provided with rooms (at a cost of $84+ per night), clothing and food at taxpayers expense by U.S. Government.

Illegal aliens (and those helping them) are violating U.S. immigration laws.  They should be detained and deported back to their home countries.

As retired Senior Special Agent with the Immigration and Naturalization Service wrote in his column “Biden Admin Now Running Biggest Human Trafficking Operation in History“:

Incredibly, AG Garland abjectly ignores the way immigration law enforcement could act as a force-multiplier to combat violent crimes, including where international terrorism and transnational gangs are concerned.

The Attorney General should review 8 U.S. Code § 1324 (Bringing in and harboring certain aliens), which deems the actions of any person or organization acting as the Biden administration currently is as felonies.

DISASTER: Biden’s December Illegal Border Crossing Numbers Worse Than 3 Previous Years Combined

Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration finally released the December numbers for illegal border crossings along the U.S.-Mexico border, which showed a dramatic uptick compared to previous years.

“The number of unique individuals encountered in December 2021 was 135,040, a 5 percent increase in the number of unique individuals encountered the prior month,” U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said in a statement. “In total, there were 178,840 encounters along the Southwest land border in December, a 2 percent increase compared to November.”

The 178,840 illegal border crossings for December 2021 was higher than the December totals from 2020, 2019, and 2018 combined when there was a total of 175,353 illegal border crossings.

Mark Morgan, former acting CBP commissioner and Heritage visiting fellow, responded to the news in a statement, saying, “More than a year ago, even as Joe Biden was preparing to roll back President Donald Trump’s effective border security policies, he claimed he did not want to end up with ‘two million people on our border.’ After a year on the job, it’s undeniable that Biden has failed even by his own basic measure.”

“In 12 months, CBP recorded more than two million encounters along the southwest border, a shocking and historic number,” Morgan added. “But that number does not include an estimated 600,000 or more ‘got-aways,’ individuals who cross the border illegally but which Border Patrol is unable to detain. And then there are the ‘turn-backs,’ those who make an effort to cross the border but eventually give up and return to their country of origin. Under Biden, that number was around 400,000. Under Joe Biden, more than three million people have tried to violate America’s sovereignty and illegally enter our country. This is not only the worst border crisis in American history—it’s the worst 12 months for any president when it comes to border security.”

Former acting ICE director Tom Homan said during an interview accused Biden’s border policies to contributing to deaths along the southern border. Homan’s remarks came after a Texas Department of Public Safety officer was killed during a U.S. Border Patrol incident over the weekend.

“Prayers out to Special Agent Salas and his family, it’s always tragic to lose one of the finest,” he said. “But look, I’ve said it many times before: people want to beat up on President Trump, but his [Biden’s] immigration policies are inhumane. Let me be clear when President Trump pushed illegal immigration to a 35, 40 year low, depending on how much you look at illegal immigration… it was down 83%. That saves lives because the most vulnerable people will not make that journey if they know they won’t succeed.”

“And Joe Biden comes in office, destroys all his policies. And what’s the result? Under President Trump last year, there was a total of 254 migrants died crossing that border —the first year under President Biden, that is more than doubled to 557,” he added. “That’s a 119% increase… Add to that over 100,000 overdose deaths, most of it from fentanyl that the DEA says, ‘come across the border.’ Add to that 59 CBP officers who die from COVID because Joe Biden is ignoring Title 42 when it comes to hundreds of thousands of children and family groups to come across with COVID, that affects these agents. So let me tell you something, Joe Biden’s policies are not humane. It’s killing people at a huge rate – more than I’ve ever seen in my career.

Biden Admin Powers Up Magnet to Attract Even More Illegal Aliens

Before being sworn into office, Joe Biden sent a crystal clear message that his administration would undo many successful programs implemented by the Trump administration to secure the dangerous U.S.–Mexico border.

He quickly halted construction of the border wall and terminated the “Remain in Mexico” policy making aliens wait in Mexico while their applications for political asylum were adjudicated.

Even before Biden’s inauguration, caravans of illegal aliens from countries from around the world began forming in Mexico, impatiently waiting for his administration to take office.

On February 18, 2021, the Washington Post reported, “Biden memo for ICE officers points to fewer deportations and strict oversight.”

The bottom line for Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents was to avoid making any immigration arrests. You cannot get into trouble for what you don’t do!

Biden put Vice President Kamala Harris in charge of addressing the border crisis he refused to call a “crisis.”

Harris declined to visit the problematic southern border, finding various and sundry excuses to avoid it. You could say she was given a “no-show job” the way organized crime provides paychecks to mobsters who don’t really want to work.

Harris said she would meet with the leaders of Central American countries to address the “root causes” of mass migration to the United States.

There are two issues with this supposed strategy.

First of all, many illegal aliens lining up in massive caravans in Mexico are not from Central America but are citizens of other countries around the world, including nations that sponsor terrorism.

Second, while the prospect of working in the U.S. motivates many illegal aliens to come, there are many reasons for aliens to seek to enter illegally without inspection.

A review of the relevant section of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) 8 U.S. Code § 1182 (inadmissible aliens) provides the classes of aliens who cannot legally enter the United States — not because of superficial factors such as race, religion or ethnicity, but to safeguard national security, public safety, public health, and the jobs and wages of Americans.

Foreigners who seek to enter illegally do so because they know they belong to one or more classes of inadmissible aliens — including aliens infected with dangerous communicable diseases, or aliens who are criminals, spies, terrorists, fugitives from justice, human traffickers and/or drug smugglers.

Certainly one of the root causes of illegal immigration is the “push/pull” of poverty in the home countries of aliens who enter the U.S. illegally to seek employment under adverse conditions.

However, flooding the U.S. with an army of foreign workers displaces American and legal immigrant workers and drives down wages.

Additionally, aliens who work in the U.S. send billions of dollars in ill-gotten wages back to their families in their home countries. This means the money they earn will not circulate through the economy where the “multiplier effect” helps to generate growth, but instead is removed from the U.S. entirely. This has a huge adverse impact on our economy and increases the national debt significantly.

Furthermore, leaders of countries that receive remittances from their citizens working in the U.S. have no desire to interfere with those massive infusions of cash.

The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 was enacted during the Reagan administration. It called for many changes in our immigration laws and included a massive amnesty program.

In order to convince members of Congress to vote for the bill, a provision was included stipulating employers who knowingly hired illegal aliens could be fined and even prosecuted. In conjunction with that requirement, employers were made responsible for completing a form, the I-9, which would help verify new employees were legally entitled to work in the U.S.

The idea was to “turn of the magnet” that draws many illegal aliens to enter the U.S. in search of employment.

As an Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) agent back then, I was assigned to educate employers about their new responsibilities to properly complete the paperwork and screen their employees. My colleagues and I were happy about this provision designed to deter employment of illegal aliens and thwart the ability of unscrupulous employers to exploit illegal aliens.

However, the INS only had about 2,000 agents to cover many jobs across the entire country. This meant few employers would face scrutiny or consequences for employing illegal aliens, but it was better than nothing.

I preferred arresting criminal aliens, but there was also great satisfaction in arresting illegal aliens who were found working at a factory or other employment venue — then driving by that same factory a day later and seeing a long line of prospective employees lining up to be interviewed for jobs we had liberated.

On October 12, 2021, Fox News reported, “Mayorkas orders ICE to stop worksite raids, in latest limits on immigration enforcement.”

Mayorkas has powered up the magnet that entices aspiring illegal aliens from around the world to head for the U.S. by whatever means possible, confident they have friends in the Oval Office and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Secretary “Get to Yes” Mayorkas has truly turned the DHS into the Department of Homeland Surrender, just as I predicted he would.

In a recent press release about his plans to end the “Remain in Mexico” policy, Mayorkas referred to the flow of aliens entering the U.S. illegally as “irregular migration,” utilizing a term that should instead be used by the Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration and the Attorney General refer to concerned parents as “Domestic Terrorists” and salivate at the prospect of hiring thousands of IRS agents to conduct fishing expeditions into Americans’ bank accounts with more than $600.

The Biden administration has undermined national security, public safety, public health and the jobs and wages of Americans. However, profiteers of his open borders policies could not be happier.

Recently released drone footage is revealing the “out of control” situation taking place at the US-Mexico border in Del Rio, Texas; showing thousands of Central American migrants waiting to be processed by Federal Agents before entering the United States.

“Our drone is back over the international bridge in Del Rio, TX. Per source, the number of migrants waiting to be processed has now swelled to approx 8,200. It was 4,000 yesterday AM. Doubled in one day. BP overwhelmed, & I’m told situation is ‘out of control,’” posted Fox News’ Bill Melugin.

The number of migrants crossing the United States border from Mexico continued to surge this summer, with new data from the Department of Homeland Security showing more than 200,000 encounters between immigrants and Federal Agents.

That’s up 317% compared to August 2020.

“The source told Fox that there were 208,887 encounters in August. While it marks the first decrease in migrant encounters seen under the Biden administration, where migrant encounters have been sharply rising for months, it is only a 2% drop over the more than 212,000 encounters in July,” reports Fox News.

“Additionally, the 208,887 number for August represents a 317% increase over last August 2020 which saw 50,014 apprehensions — and a 233% increase over August 2019, where there were 62,707 apprehensions during that year’s border crisis,” adds Fox.

“We have a plan, we are executing our plan and that takes time,” said DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas last month.

“A couple of days ago I was down in Mexico, and I said look, you know, if, if our borders are the first line of defense, we’re going to lose and this is unsustainable,” Mayorkas said. “We can’t continue like this, our people in the field can’t continue and our system isn’t built for it.

Is Customs and Border Protection Covering Up the Arrest of Two Yemenis on the Terror Watch List?

As if we needed still more illustration of the fact that the border is a national security issue and that jihad terrorists are exploiting Biden’s handlers’ open border, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced Monday that “U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the El Centro Sector arrested two Yemeni men within the last 2 months that were identified on a terrorism watch list.” Will any lessons be learned from this? Come on, man! Not only will no lessons be learned, but CBP had by Tuesday morning spiked its press release, replacing it with an “Access Denied” notice.

Maybe it’s just a glitch; the press release briefly reappeared on Tuesday afternoon, and then the “Access Denied” notice came back. Or maybe Biden’s handlers are nervous that wide distribution will expose their border policy even more than it is already exposed for the monstrous act of national betrayal that it is. Unfortunately for Biden’s handlers’ CBP, however, CBS-Los Angeles has already picked it up, as well as Reuters and the VOA.

“The first incident,” CBP reported in its now-spiked release, “occurred on January 29, at approximately 1:10 a.m., when agents assigned to the El Centro Station arrested a man for illegally entering the United States….Agents conducted records checks, which revealed that the man, a 33-year-old illegal alien from Yemen, was on the FBI’s Terrorism Watch List as well as on the No-Fly list.”

Then on March 30, “at approximately 11:30 p.m., when agents assigned to the El Centro Station arrested a man for illegally entering the United States,” agents “conducted records checks, which revealed that the man, a 26-year-old illegal alien from Yemen, was also on the FBI’s Terrorism Watch List and on the No-Fly list.”

How many more jihad terrorists have entered the United States via the Mexican border and not been caught? CBP confirmed in mid-March that four people on the FBI’s terror watch list have been apprehended at the Mexican border since October. CBP likewise reported on February 3 that “Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a group of 11 Iranian citizens who illegally crossed the border into the United States….Yuma Sector agents apprehended eight Iranian nationals in FY2020, compared to just 14 from all other border patrol sectors combined. So far in FY2021, Yuma Sector agents have apprehend [sic] 14 nationals from Iran.”

There is more. The Justice Department announced back in March 2020 that Mohamad Milon Hossain, a Bangladeshi national, “admitted that from March 2017 to June 2019, he conspired to bring, and brought, Bangladeshi nationals to the United States at the Texas border in exchange for payment.” And the military site SOFREP reported in January 2020 that “three members of the al-Qaeda terrorist group were stopped and apprehended trying to fly into Dallas while using passports from Colombia. The three entered Colombia via Venezuela.”

That same month, according to KYMA, “Mexicali Police Chief Maria Elena Andrade confirmed that a red alert has been issued at the Mexicali border due to a possible Iranian terrorist threat….‘We received reports that four nationals of Iran possibly carrying explosives were going to attempt to cross the border in the area of San Luis to Mexicali.’”

In October 2019, a Muslim migrant from Jordan named Moayad Heider Mohammad Aldairi was sentenced to three years in prison for sneaking at least six Yemeni Muslims into the United States across the border from Mexico.

Much of that took place during the Trump years, while the president was doing everything he could against intense opposition to get the border under control. Now it’s a free-for-all, and there is no telling how many jihad terrorists will enter the country via Mexico in the next four years.

But building a wall? That was racist. Things have gotten so bad at the border that Biden’s handlers are even considering finishing Trump’s wall, but they’re likely to face such withering blowback even from the suggestion that nothing is less likely. Anyone who wishes to make the trip is going to continue to stream in at will.

How long must this go on? How many Islamic jihadis must we admit into our country before this broken system is repaired? How many Americans have to die at the hands of these “refugees” before the calls of an increasing number of Americans to stop this madness are heeded?

When the apprehension of the two Yemenis was announced, Chief Patrol Agent Gregory K. Bovino stated: “Part of the Border Patrol’s mission states we will protect the country from terrorists. Today, like every other day, our agents did that. These apprehensions at our border illustrates the importance of our mission and how we can never stop being vigilant in our everyday mission to protect this great country.”

Yes, but haven’t you heard, Agent Bovino? It’s “racist” to be vigilant. And when you apprehend jihadis, it’s “Islamophobic” as well. Stand down, man! Scrub that press release!

A video tweeted by U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) shows a steady stream of migrants marching into the U.S. from Mexico. The senator said the migrants are responding to “Joe Biden’s open border, catch and release policy.

“The tip of the iceberg near Yuma, AZ as immigrants begin to flood into the US responding to @JoeBiden’s open border, catch and release policy,” Senator Johnson tweeted. “How many have COVID?”

It is not clear how many migrants marched through before and after the video ran.

Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents teamed up with Yuma County Sheriff’s Office deputies last week to disrupt another human smuggling incident where they found 18 migrants packed in a human smuggling stash house.

The agents arrested the migrants and transported them to the Yuma Station for processing. In addition, the agents arrested 29-year-old Rodolfo Rodriguez, a U.S. citizen, in connection the stash house operation.

A criminal background investigation revealed Rodriguez has an extensive criminal history. His crimes include a felony for aggravated harassment, Yuma Sector officials stated.

Border Patrol agents arrested approximately 100,000 migrants in February who illegally crossed the U.S. border from Mexico, Breitbart Texas reported.

What Biden’s Immigration Policies Would Do To America — America’s adversaries can’t wait for this massive betrayal.

Not unlike Donald Trump, during the Presidential campaign, Joe Biden turned immigration into a major issue.  However, unlike President Trump who promised to secure our nation’s borders against illegal entry and ramp up immigration law enforcement to protect innocent people from  criminal aliens and international terrorists, Joe Biden has promised to do the polar opposite within the first 100 days of taking office- but no one is questioning why he would do this or how this would be beneficial to America or Americans.

On January 16, 2021 the American Thinker published an important article, Joe Biden’s big amnesty plan stuns even the open-borders activists for its ‘boldness’ and ‘ambition’ that addressed many of the reasons why Biden’s plan to provide lawful status and pathways to citizenship for what has been estimated to be a  population of 11 million illegal aliens.

As disconcerting as all of the issues raised in the American Thinker article are, the article fails to make several other points that must be considered.

First of all, the number of 11 million is far, far smaller than would be the actual number of aliens who would benefit from such a massive amnesty program.

My earlier article, Biden’s ‘Build Back Better’ is Bunk included this excerpt:

Comprehensive Immigration Reform Should be Renamed the “Overwhelm America Act” in which I noted that on September 21, 2018 Yale University reported Yale Study Finds Twice as Many Undocumented Immigrants as Previous Estimates.  That report, published just over two years ago noted:

Using mathematical modeling on a range of demographic and immigration operations data, the researchers estimate there are 22.1 million undocumented immigrants in the United States.

It is likely that the actual number of illegal aliens currently present in the United States is significantly higher than the Yale study’s 22.1 million.  Furthermore with extravagant promises being made to illegal aliens by the incoming Biden administration, that includes a virtual end to immigration law enforcement, the floodgates will be flung open and God knows how many more millions of illegal aliens will stream across our borders.

When dealing with the number of illegal aliens who would be rewarded for violating our borders and our laws, virtually all estimates ignore the biggest factor- all legalized aliens would have the immediate and absolute right to have their spouses and every one of their minor children be lawfully admitted to join them permanently in the United States.

If, for example each illegal alien has, on average four minor children, a wildly optimistic estimate, and if 25 million illegal aliens apply for lawful status, more than 100 million immigrants who are not yet here would be permitted to enter the United States!

Imagine the impact and consequences of the massive influx of immigrants would have on our economy, on critical infrastructure, on inflation as 100 million new immigrants need such basics as food, clothing and housing.

These children would be enrolled in our already crumbling schools systems and the majority would likely not be proficient in the English language.

Today because of the COVID-19 pandemic many hospitals around the United States are overwhelmed.  Imagine the impact on our already overwhelmed healthcare system that would result from adding tens of millions of more immigrants to our population.

There would be no way for USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) to interview tens of millions of immigrants and absolutely no way to conduct field investigations.

Adding to this is the Biden administration’s pick for the pivotal position of Director of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas who had been a high-rating official at DHS during the Obama administration.  He had been investigated by the Office of Inspector General for improperly approving applications for EB-5 visas because of apparent political purposes.  He was also notorious for ordering the approval of applications for a wide variety fo applications for immigration benefits at USCIS ordering that these hapless adjudications officers “Get to yes!”

Here is an excerpt from that article:

On March 24, 2015 ABC News reported, “Top Homeland Official Alejandro Mayorkas Accused of Political Favoritism Alejandro Mayorkas oversaw controversial $500,000 visa program.”

The above-noted report was preceded by two ABC News reports that were published on February 3, 2015 which illustrate a clear nexus between these visas and national security

“Whistleblowers: US Gave Visas to Suspected Forgers, Fraudsters, Criminals Internal documents show feds ignored warnings from FBI.”  This report began with this excerpt:

Officials overseeing a federal program that offers an immigration short-cut to wealthy foreign investors have ignored pointed warnings from federal agents and approved visas for some immigrants suspected of having committed fraud, money laundering, and even one applicant with alleged ties to a child porn website, an ABC News investigation has found. The shortcomings prompted concerns within the Department of Homeland Security that the boutique immigration program would be exploited by terrorists, according to internal documents obtained by ABC News.

It is irrefutable that Biden’s massive amnesty program for tens of millions of illegal aliens would have catastrophic and irrevocable implications for national security and that the appointment of Mayorkas would exacerbate this threat to our nation.

To amplify this point, consider this unequivocal statement from the report that was prepared by the 9/11 Commission staff, 9/11 and Terrorist Travel that incorporated specific examples of the way that the World Trade Center was bombed in 1993 that killed six and injured more than one thousand victims.

Once terrorists had entered the United States, their next challenge was to find a way to remain here. Their primary method was immigration fraud. For example, Yousef and Ajaj concocted bogus political asylum stories when they arrived in the United States. Mahmoud Abouhalima, involved in both the World Trade Center and landmarks plots, received temporary residence under the Seasonal Agricultural Workers (SAW) program, after falsely claiming that he picked beans in Florida.” Mohammed Salameh, who rented the truck used in the bombing, overstayed his tourist visa. He then applied for permanent residency under the agricultural workers program, but was rejected. Eyad Mahmoud Ismail, who drove the van containing the bomb, took English-language classes at Wichita State University in Kansas on a student visa; after he dropped out, he remained in the United States out of status.

The Britannica website furnished additional information about the World Trade Center bombing of 1993.

On December 26, 2020 Reuters reported, China to leapfrog U.S. as world’s biggest economy by 2028: think tank.

This is how this ominous report from Reuters began:

LONDON (Reuters) – China will overtake the United States to become the world’s biggest economy in 2028, five years earlier than previously estimated due to the contrasting recoveries of the two countries from the COVID-19 pandemic, a think tank said.

“For some time, an overarching theme of global economics has been the economic and soft power struggle between the United States and China,” the Centre for Economics and Business Research said in an annual report published on Saturday.

That assessment did not include the impact that a massive onslaught of immigrants would have on the U.S. economy.  It must be presumed that the Biden Administration’s immigration policies would hasten the day when the economy of China would surpass that of the United States.

Undoubtedly the leaders of the communist regime in China would be delighted if Mr. Biden gets his way, as would the leaders of Russia, Iran, North Korea and other adversaries of the United States.

The one question that should be asked by the reporters who will cover the White House once Joe Biden is sworn in is, “Why, why would you do this to America and Americans?”

Given the state of politics and supposed journalism today, I am not holding my breath to hear that question being asked of Joe Biden or his Presidential heir apparent, Kamala Harris.

Illegal Votes From Noncitizens Likely Affected the 2020 Election, Study Says

Noncitizens likely voted at a high enough rate to alter the 2020 Electoral College tally, potentially flipping the states of Arizona and Georgia in the presidential election, according to an analysis by Just Facts, a research group.

That’s significant, and while it wouldn’t be enough to hand the election to President Donald Trump, it potentially could have made a difference. Only U.S. citizens are legally allowed to vote in federal elections.

The revised estimate, as of Monday, shows that Trump could have won 259 electoral votes if noncitizen votes were not counted. But that would likely still leave former Vice President Joe Biden with 279 electoral votes, nine votes more than the 270 needed to win.

The current electoral vote tally stands at 306 for Biden, 232 for Trump. Arizona has 11 Electoral College votes, while Georgia gets 16.

Just Facts first released an analysis on Nov. 8, five days after the election, that calculated a lower and upper estimate of the extent of noncitizen voting. That analysis determined that Trump could have won as few as 259 electoral votes—or as many as 285. The latter would have secured a second term.

However, as more mail-in votes were counted, Biden’s lead widened in states such Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Nevada.

Several major media outlets have projected Biden as the president-elect, but the Trump campaign is still litigating in several battleground states. The Trump team has not made noncitizen voting a significant part of its allegations of voter fraud.

The revised study estimated the number of noncitizen votes cast in the states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania—all of which were closely contested on election night.

It estimated that 234,570 noncitizen votes benefited Biden across seven battleground states. That estimate did not change as more votes were counted.

“Based on the latest vote counts and the upper and lower bounds of the study results, Georgia and Arizona would flip to Trump, leaving him with 259 Electoral College votes,” James Agresti, president of Just Facts, told The Daily Signal. “Under the upper bound, Nevada gets really close, with Trump down by 3,858 votes.”

With the exception of Arizona, each of the states in question appeared to be favoring Trump until the early-morning hours of Nov. 4, but began to shift to Biden over several days. North Carolina is the only state of the seven that appears likely to go to Trump.

The Electoral College will cast its vote in 50 states and the District of Columbia on Dec. 14.

The estimate is based on the percentages of noncitizens that voted in previous elections, predicated on a 2014 study by researchers at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, that evaluated rates of noncitizen voting in 2008 and 2010, Agresti said, applied only to the seven battleground states.

The Old Dominion study determined 6.4% of noncitizens voted in the 2008 presidential election and 3% in the 2010 congressional midterm elections, with 81% voting Democrat.

The rate was high enough to change the Electoral College vote count in 2008 (although not enough to swing the presidential election) and actually change the outcome of some congressional races, particularly the Senate race in Minnesota that year.

That race was decided in favor of Democrat Al Franken over Republican Norm Coleman by just 312 votes out of more than 2.86 million votes cast.

Agresti noted that illegal noncitizen voting is just “one type of fraud” that could have occurred in the 2020 election.

Asked about the proliferation of mail-in voting and ballot harvesting, he said, “That could certainly make it easier, with fewer checks and balances,” for a larger number of noncitizens to vote.

Last week, USA Today criticized the initial study claiming in a “fact check” column that rated the study as “missing context,” and arguing that it “relies on unverifiable estimates.”

The USA Today fact check largely relied on rebuttals from left-leaning sources such as the Fair Elections Center and the Brennan Center for Justice. USA Today also referenced a Wired magazine article to question the Old Dominion researchers.

Just Facts issued a rebuttal on Tuesday to what it called a “slanderous ‘fact check’” of its study:

The Just Facts study doesn’t claim to have the precise 2020 numbers, and is clear in its reliance on the Old Dominion study and other sources, such as a 2008 Harvard/YouGov survey, the Government Accountability Office, and the Social Security Administration, to apply data from past elections as the basis for the assumptions of the numbers this year.

Agresti noted that as many as 15% of noncitizens said they were registered to vote, based on survey data cited in the Old Dominion report.

The full extent of noncitizen voting is a problem, as demonstrated in past years in Pennsylvania, said Hans von Spakovsky, the manager of the Election Law Reform Initiative at The Heritage Foundation.

Analysis of the Biden-Harris Immigration Plan Reveals Very BIG Numbers

WASHINGTON, D.C. /PRNewswire/ — The Biden-Harris campaign has issued a detailed plan for how they would carry out immigration policy if elected in November. The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) has analyzed the Biden-Harris policy proposals in order to project the real-world consequences they impose on Americans. The report investigates how these policies might translate into real numbers of new immigrants who could be admitted to the United States and the costs associated with what would likely be an unprecedented surge of new migration.

According to FAIR’s analysis, By the Numbers: How the Biden/Harris Immigration Platform Will Fuel a Staggering Increase of Immigrants and Population Growth, the proposals offered by the candidates could entitle a staggering 52 million new immigrants to eventually settle in the United States. This dramatic increase would eclipse the entire current foreign-born population of the country.

The lax approach to illegal immigration offered under the Biden-Harris plan – halting construction of border security fencing, eliminating detention for most illegal border crossers, scaling back worksite enforcement, and limiting deportation to only violent criminals – would also carry some large numbers with dollar signs in front of them. The likely increase in illegal immigration would run up the costs of services and benefits to illegal aliens and their U.S.-born children to more than $200 billion annually. That increase would represent a 50 percent jump in the already onerous annual costs to American taxpayers.

“Campaigns are an opportunity for candidates to present to the voters their vision on important policy matters. To their credit, the Biden-Harris campaign has done just that on immigration policy,” noted Dan Stein, president of FAIR. “But policy proposals are not just words on paper. If implemented, they will have quantifiable results. They can mean more legal and illegal immigration or less; greater costs to taxpayers, or less.

“It is important to get beyond rhetoric and look at the real-world implication of policy proposals if they become law, so that voters can understand the choices they are making,” said Stein.

Among the potential consequences of FAIR’s analysis of the Biden-Harris immigration plan:

  • 52 million total new legal and illegal immigrants eventually entering the country due to these policies.
  • 43 million people made eligible for family-chain migration under an extensive amnesty program.
  • At least 2.4 million new immigrants under various non-family-based migration categories.
  • At least 20 million illegal aliens residing in the country due to reduced border enforcement and detention, and highly constrained interior enforcement.
