Kamala Is The October Surprise

Democrats are in disarray and openly talking about losing the election in November.

After Kamala Harris’s disastrous appearance at a CNN Town Hall on Wednesday, even the network’s hyper-partisan Dana Bash said that if her job that night was to close the deal with voters, she wasn’t sure she accomplished it.

Kamala stumbled when questioned on her new-found support for a border wall, exhibited a breathtaking mendacity, and repeated her theme for the night, “Trump is a fascist,” in the most unlikely places.

Democrats have always believed Republicans are preparing an “October Surprise” to upend the election, and have gone to extraordinary lengths to “pre-bunk” news stories they know will be damaging.

Remember how they treated the New York Post scoop about Hunter Biden’s laptop in October 2020? Even Attorney General Bob Barr, no friend of Trump, has said he believes the media blackout on that story probably cost Trump the 2020 election.

This time, there is little the Democrats can do, because the October Surprise is Kamala herself.

Her abysmal performance in interview after interview with friendly networks has left her partisans openly skeptical of her qualifications to hold the highest office in the land.

Former Obama advisor David Axelrod said in the CNN spin room after the town hall that Kamala had a tendency to head to ”word salad city” whenever she was challenged.

Her worst moment was when a Republican man from Pennsylvania who said he remained undecided asked her what she felt were her biggest weaknesses.

You could almost her the little gremlins in her brain opening and closing file drawers, searching for the answer. Finally, she came up with this: “I really do value having a team around me of really smart people who bring to my decision-making process different perspectives.”

Given all the reports of the Harris’s inability to retain qualified staff because she dresses them down in obscenity-laden rants, this was laugh-out loud pathetic. Even NPR has reported on the high staff turnover, which has been estimated at 92% during her nearly four years as vice-president, according to employment statistics.

And those low moments were not the exception.

Anderson Cooper, to his credit, asked her what she felt was her biggest mistake as Vice President. She replied by saying, “that I probably worked very hard at making sure that I am well versed on issues.”

Given her inability to discuss any issue in anything other than platitudes and repeated talking points, this was a joke.

In the end, the joke will be on the Dems. Who ever would have thought they would be the cause of their own October surprise?

On Thursday, Putin and his congeries of dictators and enablers posed for a group photo at the latest BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia.

The expansion of BRICS to include Iran, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and possibly Turkey and Saudi Arabia, poses a real threat to America’s long-term interests. Their immediate goal is to create an alternative world trading system to the US dollar. Already in 2020, the BRICS economies surpassed the G7 as a share of world GDP. Today, they now account for 35.4% or world GDP, while the G7 has dropped below 30%.

Ultimately, they would like to establish a new reserve currency. And while that’s much further down the road, no one should underestimate the harm this would do to our economy. This is why Donald Trump has been saying he will restore the dollar as the world’s reserve currency, making up for the erosion suffered over the past four years.

I do not actually discuss Kamala in this week’s edition of Prophecy Today Weekend. Instead, I spend much of the time discussing BRICS, the Axis of Opportunism of Russia-China-Iran and North Korea, and the latest Chinese naval exercises to simulate a naval blockade of Taiwan and a maritime and ground assault.

Teamsters Union Won’t Endorse Harris after Members Back Trump

For the first time in decades, one of the nation’s largest and most influential labor unions is refusing to endorse a Democrat for president. Representing nearly one-and-a-half million American workers, the Teamsters Union announced late Wednesday that it would not be endorsing either Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump in this year’s presidential race.

This marks the first time since 1996 that the Teamsters have not endorsed a presidential candidate. Previously, the union has overwhelmingly endorsed Democrats for president, including endorsing now-President Joe Biden in 2020. The Teamsters have not endorsed a Republican presidential candidate since George H.W. Bush in 1988.

“The Teamsters thank all candidates for meeting with members face-to-face during our unprecedented roundtables,” Teamsters’ International Union General President Sean O’Brien said in a statement. “Unfortunately, neither major candidate was able to make serious commitments to our union to ensure the interests of working people are always put before Big Business,” O’Brien continued. “We sought commitments from both Trump and Harris not to interfere in critical union campaigns or core Teamsters industries — and to honor our members’ right to strike — but were unable to secure those pledges.”

“As the strongest and most democratic labor union in America, it was vital for our members to drive this endorsement process. Democrats, Republicans, and Independents proudly call our union home, and we have a duty to represent and respect every one of them,” O’Brien added. “We strongly encourage all our members to vote in the upcoming election, and to remain engaged in the political process. But this year, no candidate for President has earned the endorsement of the Teamsters’ International Union.”

In comments to The Washington Stand, FRC Action Director Matt Carpenter said, “To see the Teamsters decline to endorse the Democratic nominee for president is not something I thought I would ever see in my lifetime. Since the 2016 election, we have seen the emergence of a truly stunning realignment in the coalitions that make up the two-party system in American politics.” He explained, “The GOP, once home to free trade absolutists and corporate America, has transformed into the home of working men and women, while the Democratic Party has morphed into a party of the upwardly-mobile, high-income, and college-educated.”

Carpenter added, “While the Teamsters opted not to endorse Donald Trump, and instead opted to decline an endorsement of either candidate, they did release polling of their members showing by almost two-to-one they prefer a second Trump term to a Harris administration.”

The Teamsters did release internal polling data, also on Wednesday, asking union members who the 121-year-old organization should endorse for president. According to electronic polling conducted from late July to September 15, nearly 60% said the union should back Trump, while only 34% went with Harris. The remaining 6.4% of polled Teamsters said “other candidates.” A phone poll conducted from September 9 to September 16 found little difference, except a noticeable decline in support for Harris, with 58% of Teamsters backing Trump and only 31% backing Harris. The remaining 11% were almost evenly split between “undecided” and “don’t know.” Polling conducted prior to Biden dropping out of the presidential race found nearly 45% of Teamsters supported Biden, 36.3% supported Trump, and the remaining 7% were split among third-party candidates.

Trump himself commented on the Teamsters’ refusal to back Harris. “The Teamsters for many, many decades always automatically support the Democrats. This year, they refused to do it,” the 45th president said in an interview Wednesday night. He continued, “They took a poll and we got 60% in the poll, in the Teamsters. They’re not gonna support the Democrat this year, they’re gonna — I guess remain neutral. But that was sort of a big event. Nobody ever expected a thing like that to happen.” Trump added that a lot of Teamsters workers used to work for him in the construction and real estate development business years prior and referred to O’Brien as a “top guy.”

In July, O’Brien became the first Teamster to speak at the Republican National Convention, at Trump’s invitation. Upon accepting Trump’s warm welcome, O’Brien said, “Anti-union groups demanded the president rescind his invitation. The Left called me a traitor. This is precisely why it is so important for me to be here today.” Referring to Trump being shot in the head and surviving an assassination attempt just days earlier, O’Brien added, “I think we all can agree, whether people like him or they don’t like him, in light of what happened to him on Saturday, he has proven to be one tough S.O.B.” The Teamsters leader also derided economic and labor policies that hurt “American workers,” calling for reform to labor law and bankruptcy law.

Just last month, polling data found that Trump commands a nearly-30-point lead over Harris among white, working-class, and non-college-educated voters nationally. The former president also leads among white, working-class voters across swing states. Earlier this week, Trump spoke at a campaign rally in Flint, Michigan and pledged to increase tariffs on cars made in places like Mexico, in order to bring jobs back to American workers in places like Michigan. “We are going to bring so many auto plants into our country,” Trump promised. “You’re going to be as big or bigger than you were 50 years ago. Because if they’re not willing to build a plant, we don’t want their product.”

Biden-Harris Regime Immediately Leaks Details of Israeli Pager Op

Always stab allies in the back.

Israel did not take responsibility for the pager attack that crippled Hezbollah’s comms and took out a chunk of their officer corps. It certainly did not go ahead and describe how it was done for the media. That’s tradecraft. And you don’t reveal it.

But the New York Times had a report detailing how it happened that same evening. I won’t link to it as it carries the byline of fake news fabulist Sheera Frenkel who had previously carried water for Hamas and lied that the Islamic terror group had not kidnapped and killed three Israeli teens.

The report is described as being based on briefings received by American officials.

The material leaked to the Times comes from “American and other officials briefed on the operation” and the “American and other officials spoke on the condition of anonymity given the sensitive nature of the operation.”

Is this classified information? Sounds like it. If we were involved it certainly would be.

The official American position was that we were not aware of the attack beforehand.

A U.S. official said that several minutes before the pagers started exploding across Lebanon, Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant called U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and told him Israel was going to conduct an operation in Lebanon soon, but refused to give any specific details.

The U.S. official said the Israelis didn’t tell the U.S. about the specifics of the operation, but added that Gallant’s call was an attempt to avoid keeping the U.S. totally in the dark.

Nevertheless, U.S. officials said they didn’t see Gallant’s call as a serious prior notice. “We were not aware of this operation and were not involved,” U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller told reporters on Tuesday.

Assuming that’s true (and considering the pro-terrorist and foreign regime figures in this administration, including in the Pentagon and NSC, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Israelis held back their plans) then the Israelis held a briefing afterward.

And then the officials turned around and leaked it all to the New York Times.

Did they do that on their own? Maybe. D.C. is notoriously leaky. But still leaking details of an op a few hours after a briefing is a bit much even by D.C. standards. Unless it was administration policy to leak it.

Under Obama, leaks of Israeli operations were standard procedure. But if this was Biden-Harris admin policy, it doesn’t just hurt Israel, it hurts America. The leak undermines claims that we didn’t know about it beforehand. And encourages Hezbollah to target our people as the weaker link in the Oct 7 war.

Some officials in this administration clearly don’t care, but they could also find themselves in the line of fire.

The Biden-Harris admin follows the Obama policy of stabbing allies in the back. But the back it stabs could end up being its own.
