How Did This Leftist Group Smuggle Its Divisive Ideas Into 169 School Districts, Without Parents Knowing?

The Southern Poverty Law Center has spread its woke activist agenda in education to at least 169 school districts in 42 states, according to a new report, and the impact of teachers unions helps explain this expansive influence.

Learning for Justice, the SPLC’s education arm, promotes “social justice” activism, pushes racially divisive messaging, and advocates transgender ideology. The program, launched as “Teaching Tolerance” in the 1990s, dropped the emphasis on “tolerance” amid the Great Awokening in February 2021. Around that same time, the program removed its own impact statement from the website, which had previously bragged that “more than 500,000 educators” read its magazine, screened its films, visited its website, and used its curricula.

The parental rights group Defending Education exposed Learning for Justice’s broad influence in an exhaustive report Tuesday.

“Unbeknownst to parents, the Southern Poverty Law Center has been poisoning pupils’ minds around the country for years with its toxic curriculum,” Nicole Neily, the group’s president, told The Daily Signal. “SPLC lesson plans on issues such as queer theory, white privilege, and anti-racism have supplanted traditional coursework in history, social studies, and other core classes—teaching children to view themselves and others through the lens of identity politics, and that America is forever stained by its original sin.”

How did the SPLC spread its tentacles this far? America’s two largest teachers unions—the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers—help explain it, as does the American School Counselor Association.

“By promoting and integrating Learning for Justice content and standards into mental health programming and curricula, the teachers unions and ASCA are giving the far-left organization credibility,” Rhyen Staley, director of research at Defending Education, told The Daily Signal. “This is deeply troubling for a variety of reasons, especially since the SPLC has put parents on its ‘hate map’ for simply raising concerns with their local school districts.”

The SPLC gained its reputation by suing Ku Klux Klan groups into bankruptcy, but weaponized that history to smear conservatives and raise money. In 2023, it added Moms for Liberty, Defending Education, and other parental rights groups to the “hate map,” placing them alongside Klan chapters and calling them part of “the infrastructure upholding white supremacy.”

Last month, a federal grand jury indicted the SPLC on wire fraud, bank fraud, and conspiracy charges for sending $3 million to KKK members. While the SPLC claimed it was paying “informants” to prevent violent attacks, the Justice Department says it was using donor cash to prop up the very “hate” it claims it exists to “dismantle.” The SPLC has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The SPLC enjoys undue influence in the media, in corporate America, and with a vast network of donors, so it stands to reason that Learning for Justice might achieve a broad impact. Even so, the boost from teachers unions and the American School Counselor Association can’t have hurt.

The Teachers Unions

The Defending Education report cites the National Education Association’s January 2021 “Racial Justice in Education” resource guide, which touts Teaching Tolerance as a “partner” and notes that the NEA partnered with Teaching Tolerance to “create a three-part webinar series” to help “address the climate issues.” The National Education Association claims 3 million members.

The association’s President Becky Pringle condemned the SPLC indictment.

“Civil rights organizations work to ensure we can live free from discrimination,” she wrote on Bluesky. “By indicting a group that fights bias and tracks extremists, Trump’s Department of Justice is abusing its power, making us less safe. They will stop at nothing to crush free speech and further hate.”

The National Education Association did not respond to The Daily Signal’s request for comment by publication time.

The American Federation of Teachers has promoted the SPLC program as far back as 2016, listing “Teaching Tolerance” as a resource on “school discipline.”

In a social media post, the federation’s President Randi Weingarten also condemned the indictment.

“It’s absurd but predictable [the SPLC] is being wrongfully targeted, an org that has documented hate & extremist groups for 50+ years,” she posted on Bluesky. She called the indictment “part of a coordinated attack on civil rights and an escalation of the campaign against those with whom this admin disagrees.”

The American Federation of Teachers has approximately 1.6 million members.

These unions, which have a well-documented leftist slant, enjoyed tremendous influence in the Biden administration.

The American Federation of Teachers did not respond to The Daily Signal’s request for comment by publication time.

The School Counselors

The Defending Education report also noted that the American School Counselor Association, which claimed in 2023 to have over 43,000 members across the country, incorporated the “Social Justice Standards” into its key documents.

The association modeled its Student Standards: Mindsets & Behaviors for Student Success and Student Standards Crosswalk on the SPLC materials.

Neither the NEA nor the AFT nor the ASCA nor the SPLC responded to The Daily Signal’s request for comment by publication time.

The American School Counselor Association did not respond to The Daily Signal’s request for comment by publication time.

A Rising Movement

Moms and dads across the country are taking a stand against the SPLC.

Republicans in Maryland have openly condemned the state’s “implicit bias training” that incorporated Learning for Justice materials. Courage is a Habit has exposed ASCA’s reliance on the SPLC. Lake Havasu Unified School District in Arizona has rooted out an education resource that directed students to avoid the websites of SPLC-smeared “hate groups.”

Last week, Moms for Liberty leader Rosalind Hanson spoke out at Montgomery County Public Schools, condemning MCPS’ use of the Social Justice Standards.

This Defending Education report will hopefully inspire more moms and dads to ask school boards to stop relying on the SPLC. They may find my book, “Making Hate Pay: The Corruption of the Southern Poverty Law Center,” a resource in this effort.

BOOM: Economy Roars Past Expectations With Massive April Jobs Beat, Crushing Forecasts

Reality is the opposite of everything the Democrat media has been reporting.

The US economy adds 115,000 jobs in April, crushing expectations of 65,000.

And these are real jobs, not taxpayer funded government jobs.

April jobs report: Economy adds 115,000 jobs, far better than expected

US economy adds 115,000 jobs in April

By: Emma Ockerman,Yahoo Finance, May 8, 2026:

US job growth continued to strengthen in April as the unemployment rate remained flat, offering another sign that the labor market might be stabilizing.

Payrolls rose by 115,000 last month, and the unemployment rate stayed at 4.3%, the Labor Department said Friday. Economists surveyed by Bloomberg had estimated a median gain of 65,000 jobs following March’s blockbuster increase of 178,000 roles, which was revised upward to 185,000. February’s jobs report was revised lower to a loss of 156,000 positions.

“This is a very strong number, and I think it’s hard to argue against the notion right now that the labor market is on solid footing,” Michael Reid of RBC Economics told Yahoo Finance.

Read more: How jobs, inflation, and the Fed are all related

Economists have been looking for signs that the labor market, which was on ice for much of 2025, is warming up. There was already one glimmer of positivity this week in private payroll growth, according to data from ADP: Private employers added 109,000 jobs in April, the fastest monthly gain since January 2025. And looking backward, March’s hiring rate improved to its highest level in nearly two years, government data released Tuesday showed, though job openings declined slightly and the layoff rate ticked up.

Friday’s jobs report showed that last month’s gains were, once again, driven in part by the healthcare and social assistance supersector, which added nearly 54,000 roles. Transportation and warehousing also showed some strength, bringing on more than 30,000 jobs, especially among couriers and messengers.

Employment in information, meanwhile, slid by 13,000 roles, and is down by 342,000 since its most recent peak in November 2022, the Labor Department said. Financial activities jobs also declined by 11,000.

“The reduced reliance [on] hiring [in] healthcare in April is particularly encouraging, though the recent deterioration in most of the main employment surveys suggests there is limited near-term scope for employment growth [excluding healthcare] to strengthen further,” Capital Economics wrote in a note on Friday.

While overall monthly payroll growth this year is lower than what was notched in much of 2023 and 2024, there’s a reason why economists aren’t freaked out — and why even a smaller-than-once-typical gain might appear strong.

As the population ages and immigration plummets, the amount of job growth needed to sustain a level unemployment rate is sliding, a point Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell made earlier this year.

He noted in March that while there had been “zero net job creation in the private sector,” that may be “about what the economy needs in terms of dealing with very, very low — nonexistent, really — growth in the labor force, which, of course, we’ve never had in our history.”

The economy added 12,600 factory construction jobs in April alone, propelled by trillions in new investments flooding into advanced manufacturing and data centers.

The unemployment rate was 4.3%, in-line with expectations of 4.3%.

The US economy has now added +300,000 jobs in 2 months.

Another stronger than expected jobs report despite the Iran War.

EXCLUSIVE: Top Trump Official Sheds Light On ‘Mess’ Lying Under Hood Of Illegal Trucker Crisis

Derek Barrs knew cleaning up the trucking industry would be a big job when President Donald Trump gave him the task, having spent years cracking down on commercial drivers for the Florida Highway Patrol.

Yet, even Barrs was surprised when he took the reins of the federal agency that manages the trucking industry — a crucial facet of the country’s economy currently beleaguered with illegal migrant drivers who can’t speak English, shady companies skirting enforcement regulations and hundreds of trucking schools handing out licenses like candy.

“Don’t get us wrong, we’ve always had problems,” Barrs, who has been heading the Transportation Department’s (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) since his confirmation in October, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“We have seen an increase in the non-domiciled CDLs [commercial driver’s licenses], and we’ve also seen an increase of what we believe are these chameleon carriers,” Barrs said. “This is more than what I thought and do not ever remember anything like this before.”

Issues surrounding the trucking industry took center stage in August when an Indian commercial driver was accused of making an illegal U-turn on a busy interstate that resulted in the deaths of three people. The non-English speaking driver was later confirmed to be in the country illegally and a subsequent investigation revealed that he barely recognized U.S. highway signs, drawing into question how he was ever able to get his hands on a CDL to begin with.

Since that Florida crash, numerous other horrific roadside accidents have occurred involving illegal migrant truck drivers, including a wreck in California that killed three, a crash in Oregon that killed two and a horrific accident in Indiana that killed four.

All of the drivers successfully obtained non-domiciled CDLs before totaling their big rigs.

‘Zero Curriculum’

After investigating the circumstances that led to the fatal crash in Florida, the DOT in September handed down severe restrictions against non-domiciled CDL holders and identified state governments that were purportedly issuing licenses to foreign truck drivers unlawfully. The DOT in February doubled down with more rules to keep illegal migrants away from big rigs, rolling out new screening processes and eliminating a loophole that previously allowed foreigners with bad driving records to obtain trucking licenses.

Labor groups closely aligned with the Democrat Party quickly sued to squash the new regulations, claiming that the rules would harm hundreds of thousands of foreign nationals.

Barrs argues that the rules are solely intended to keep American highways safe.

“No one wants to lose good, qualified drivers,” Barrs told the DCNF, speaking about the number of migrant drivers expected to be taken off the roads over the next several years due to the tighter regulations. “To me, this is the safety aspect — we have to always bring it back to that piece.”

“I am not willing, in the role I have at FMCSA, to compromise safety just to put someone in the seat of a truck,” he continued.

The Trump administration has also heavily targeted truck driving schools allegedly doling out commercial licenses without any real training, otherwise known as “CDL mills.” In February, the DOT announced more than 550 commercial driving schools that train truckers and bus drivers would be closing down after investigations found they employed unqualified instructors and failed to appropriately test students.

“We have been in driver training schools that we have shut down where there was actually zero curriculum at all,” Barrs revealed to the DCNF.

Another major area of concern for Barr’s FMCSA has been the prevalence of so-called chameleon carriers, trucking companies that maliciously rotate through Department of Transportation (DOT) registration numbers, names or ownership structure in order to avoid enforcement actions.

Barrs noted that his agency can find one single address tied to up to well over 50 companies, exemplifying how deep these network of chameleon carries can be.

“We believe that they’re tied a lot together, meaning these companies have common addresses. “There is a real-life example of like 100 or so, all at the address in the middle of an interstate,” Barrs said. “That’s not acceptable.”

“And the reason why that’s not acceptable is, how in the world can you run a business from the interstate?” he added.

The presence or chameleon carriers in high-profile trucking incidents have sparked politicians at the very top of Washington, D.C., to take action.

Indiana GOP Sen. Jim Banks, whose constituents have been killed by unlawfully present truck drivers, urged the DOT in February to more fervently tackle the issue of chameleon carriers. Similarly, Wyoming GOP Rep. Harriet Hageman introduced a bill to eliminate their presence in the trucking industry, legislation that earned the endorsement of the most powerful Teamsters Union in the country.

Trump highlighted the trucking industry crisis onto the national stage when he introduced “Dalilah’s Law” during his latest State of the Union address.

“Many, if not most, illegal aliens do not speak English and cannot read even the most basic road signs as to direction, speed, danger or location,” Trump stated during the address. “That’s why tonight I’m calling on Congress to pass what we will call the Dalilah law — barring any state from granting commercial driver’s licenses to illegal aliens.”

The bill is named after Dalilah Coleman, a young California girl severely injured after getting hit by an 18-wheeler in June 2024. The driver of that big rig was an illegal migrant and the company involved was allegedly a chameleon carrier.

“I can tell you that, under Secretary Sean Duffy’s leadership and the direction that I have and the job that I and our team at FMCSA are charged with, my expectation is for us to clean up the mess that we have and try to make it as safe as possible,” Barrs said.

Elon Musk Offers To Pay TSA Salaries During Democrat Shutdown

Democrats have shut down the Department of Homeland Security and are inflicting incalculable pain on the American people.

Across the country, travelers are being trapped in hours-long security lines, sometimes in bitter cold and driving rain, while TSA officers—essential workers charged with protecting the flying public—are forced to work without pay. More than 50,000 TSA employees have gone weeks without checks, absenteeism has surged, and hundreds have already quit, deepening the chaos at airports nationwide.

Into that disgraceful vacuum stepped Elon Musk, offering to cover TSA salaries during the funding impasse—a stark reminder of what real patriotism looks like when Washington fails. When an American steps up to defend working people and shield the public from the consequences of partisan sabotage, he exposes the Democrats for what they are: a party willing to punish the country to advance its own political aims.

Elon Musk on X, “I would like to offer to pay the salaries of TSA personnel during this funding impasse that is negatively affecting the lives of so many Americans at airports throughout the country.”

Reclaiming the Canal: America’s Strategic Win Over Chinese Influence

A turning point in the contest for influence across the Americas

On February 23, 2026, Panama took a decisive step to reclaim control over the Balboa and Cristóbal ports, ending the long-standing concession held by Panama Ports Company, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based CK Hutchison Holdings.

The move followed a January 29 ruling by Panama’s Supreme Court declaring the original 1997 concession unconstitutional.

While this decision affirms Panama’s sovereignty, it also marks a significant strategic victory for the United States.

The Panama Canal is not merely a commercial passageway. It is one of the world’s most critical maritime chokepoints, facilitating roughly 5 percent of global maritime commerce.

Think of the canal as a highway owned by Panama. The ports are the toll plazas and freight hubs attached to that highway.

Although Panama controls the waterway itself, a Hong Kong–based firm managed the terminals at either end. That doesn’t mean China controlled the canal — but it did mean a Chinese-linked operator had access to shipping flows, manifests, and logistical data tied to a critical global chokepoint.

Nearly 40 percent of container traffic moving through the canal is tied to U.S. interests. For American industry, agriculture, and military logistics, its uninterrupted and secure operation is indispensable.

Under the prior arrangement, concerns emerged over the strategic implications of Chinese-linked management overseeing port operations adjacent to the canal.

In an era of intensifying U.S.–China competition, access to sensitive shipping data — including cargo manifests, transit schedules, and logistical patterns — presents vulnerabilities that extend beyond commerce into national security.

The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, led by Rep. John Moolenaar, raised alarms about these risks, particularly the canal’s role in supporting U.S. military readiness and supply chain resilience.

Addressing the Economic Impact

Safeguarding more than $270 billion in annual cargo from potential exposure to adversarial influence is not a theoretical concern — it is a strategic imperative.

The court’s ruling also addressed longstanding economic issues.

The previous concession reportedly cost Panama an estimated $1.3 billion in lost revenue due to exemptions and non-competitive terms. The forthcoming rebidding process opens the door to more transparent and competitive investment, including participation from U.S.-backed groups seeking to modernize infrastructure and improve efficiency.

This shift aligns with broader U.S. diplomatic efforts in the Western Hemisphere.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has criticized Chinese Communist Party encroachments near the canal as inconsistent with the spirit of longstanding neutrality agreements. Meanwhile, the Commerce Department has emphasized the importance of fair opportunities for American firms operating in strategically sensitive sectors.

The Stakes

At stake is more than port management.

The canal represents leverage in times of crisis. Ensuring that it remains free from undue external influence protects not only commercial shipping lanes but also the operational mobility of the U.S. Navy.

In a region where Beijing has steadily expanded its economic footprint, Panama’s decision signals a recalibration toward balanced sovereignty rather than dependency.

Hong Kong authorities have protested the ruling, and CK Hutchison has reportedly faced market repercussions — signs that the decision reverberates beyond Panama’s borders. For the United States, however, the outcome strengthens hemispheric stability and reinforces the principle that critical infrastructure in the Americas should not become an extension of great-power rivalry.

Economically, secure and efficiently managed ports bolster American trade routes and reduce vulnerability to global disruptions. Strategically, the development counters broader Chinese initiatives across Latin America that seek long-term geopolitical influence.

In an era defined by competition among major powers, control over infrastructure is inseparable from national strength. Panama’s ruling affirms its sovereignty while contributing to greater security and stability across the Western Hemisphere.

For the United States, it is a reminder that vigilance over strategic assets is not optional — it is essential.

Pollster: Supreme Court’s Tariff Ruling Could Help GOP in Midterm Elections

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Friday that President Donald Trump must obtain congressional approval before imposing new tariffs, a decision that significantly reshapes U.S. trade policy.

The 6-3 ruling is expected to have political and economic repercussions heading into the midterm elections—and might ultimately work to the Republican Party’s advantage, according to a veteran pollster.

Scott Rasmussen, founder of the Napolitan Institute, said the court’s decision aligns with public sentiment.

“We polled this consistently over the year, and 6 out of 10 voters tell us that of course congressional approval should be required for tariffs. That’s part of our system of checks and balances,” Rasmussen said Friday. “So, while many of the Trump base will be outraged, I think most of the voters will be comfortable with this decision.”

Voter Attitudes and Economic Concerns

Rasmussen’s polling also highlights mixed public perceptions of tariffs even before the court’s ruling.

“Before this ruling came down, 41% were saying these tariffs were good for the economy, 50% were saying they were bad,” he explained. “And 6 out of 10 were saying they raised prices and that they were adding to the immigration problem. We will obviously be following the fallout from the decision and polling next week.”

The decision effectively curtails one of Trump’s tools for shaping trade policy—a power he used to reshape U.S. trade relations with China, the European Union, and Mexico.

Political Fallout Ahead of the Midterms

When asked whether the ruling helps or hurts Republicans heading into the midterm elections, Rasmussen said the answer depends largely on the economic impact.

“It depends on what it does to the economy,” Rasmussen said. “If the economy does better, with tariffs off, that would be good news for the Republicans in two ways. First, as the economy does better, it’s better for the GOP. Second, the Supreme Court ruling is likely to enrage the Trump base and encourage their turnout at even higher levels. If you assume adjustment and provide good news for the economy, this could be a big plus for the GOP.”

What Comes Next

The Supreme Court ruling puts new pressure on Congress to take a more active role in trade policy—a task likely to be contentious given divisions within both parties.

Economists are watching closely to see whether easing tariffs will curb inflationary pressures or affect domestic industries that benefited from tariff protections.

Rasmussen and other analysts are expected to release new polling data next week measuring public reaction to the court’s decision and its potential influence on the political landscape.

California Screaming is Becoming a Reality

How many of you think that what goes on in California stays in California? NOPE! Boy are we naive if we think that what goes on in California does not affects every state in the Union. It seems as though Californians have taken the “We are stupid” pill and will now pay the price at the pump and pay more for all the goods at the grocery store. Every necessity is about to escalate into the ‘I can’t afford it’ category.

How did that happen? Well, Newsom is a socialist governor who seems to feel that the cost of the regulations he puts in place don’t have any consequences on Californians and certainly don’t affect him. The regulations in AB-5 are about to strangle the 70,000 truckers who just learned they can no longer be independent truckers. AB-5 is forcing them to become W-2 employees of their carriers or be fined. No small businesses for them.

The carrier companies they work for said “No, we cannot afford to W2 these independent truckers who own their own rigs. We’ll leave California.” The truckers said “No, we want to be independent so we’ll leave California!” And a huge portion of the 70,000 independent truckers have left California or are in the process of leaving. The carriers, aka Freight Handlers, who are national corporations said “We’ll leave too. We will move to another state.” Landstar, a national company, issued one statement, “LEAVE.”

So what did Newsom do? He hired illegals to replace the American truckers. What does that mean? It means Americans are at risk from truckers who can’t read English and cause accidents. It means goods sitting at the docks can’t be distributed throughout America. That affects all of us. It also means that Californians lost government funding from the DOT for breaking federal law and hiring illegals.

To add insult to injury, the heavy duty regulations placed on the refineries are causing refineries to leave California. California is about to lose 20% of its power … of its fuel. This is causing gas prices to rise unchecked in California, Arizona and Nevada. Newsom is blaming high profitability on refineries as the cause for escalating prices. His Public Service Commission told him it was due to his regulations. But Newsom is stubborn and does not pay attention and basically doesn’t care. After all he’s rich and can afford high gas prices.

Newsom’s solution, Pay the refineries subsidies to stay in CA. YES those same companies he put out of business will now be subsidized to stay. In addition CA will no be getting oil from ASIA at a much higher price. Newsom is either evil, doesn’t care or has zero common sense.

The question is whether California will be smart enough to choose a different route as they choose their new governor or will they sit back and let the insane regulations of environmentalists destroy everything they worked hard to achieve. Do they care where their taxes are going? That remains to be seen. But, what will that do to the rest of us as the goods pile up on the docks and the prices go higher and higher and higher. CA is filled with waste fraud and abuse. Is this what you want America to look like? If we thought Minnesota was bad just look at what this incompetent, selfish governor did to the once great state of CALIFORNIA. Then ask yourself, “Is this who I want as a president?”

Let’s look around the world and around your state. Has Trump made a difference?

Love him or hate him, one thing is certain, there will never be another President like Trump. Until Trump, our leaders did not respect America or Americans. We were the meat the parasites could eat and drain us until there was nothing left. Americans were the givers and they were the takers. Then along came Trump and things changed. They changed so fast most of us can hardly follow. In this week alone the world changed because President Trump is not afraid to say, “America First”.

The Venezuela incident brought us one step closer to telling the communists the game is over. Hopefully, Maduro will start naming names of the American legislators who looked the other way and got paid handsomely. President Trump told the Venezuelans and the world communists: “You can no longer play in the Western American Hemisphere. We don’t want your criminals or your drugs killing our people. We want the oil back that you stole from American companies when you nationalized the oil. We built your infrastructure. America made you rich. We will do it again. We will arrest the international criminal dictator (NOT the President) destroying your country. We hope that you will have a fair election and until that time we will monitor what those in power do. The people will get justice.”

Do you think Maduro’s capture will cause other dictators to flee?

BREAKING: Khamenei Preparing Escape Route to Russia

Iran’s supreme leader reportedly has devised a back-up plan to flee to Moscow as the uprising against the government intensifies and spreads across the country.

According to an intelligence report, Iran’s supreme leader is preparing for the possible collapse of the Islamic regime. He plans to flee the country for Russia with a group of relatives and aides in the event that the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps either fails to crush the ongoing uprising or deserts, Last report, 2 cities were taken by the protestors.

Since that was not enough, Trump turned his sights to America. He told the Defense contractors to stop being such pigs and start investing in their companies to make more products faster. From Truth Social : “All United State Defense Contractors and the Defense Industry as a whole, BEWARE: While we make the best Military Equipment in the World (No other Country is even close!), Defense Contractors are currently issuing massive Dividends to their Shareholders and massive Stock Buybacks at the expense and detriment of investing in Plants and Equipment. This situation will no longer be allowed or tolerated!”

President Trump was not done. He said he will ban large investors from buying single family homes“People live in homes, not corporations,” he said.

Does that affect you? Look at your county Comprehensive plan. See if they are banning Urban Sprawl – a term made up by the socialists to blame property ownership on white people. Ask your county leaders to define Urban Sprawl. Most will not be able to answer.

Definition: Urban Sprawl, the rapid expansion of the geographic extent of cities and towns, often characterized by low-density residential housing, single-use zoning, and increased reliance on the private automobile for transportation. Urban sprawl is caused in part by the need to accommodate a rising urban population; however, in many metropolitan areas it results from a desire for increased living space and other residential amenities. Why else would you want to buy a house? own a car? That is the American Dream

DOES your county want to eliminate single family housing in order to shove you into high density easier to control communities. Mamdani and his new housing administrator want to eliminate private property ownership. It is a “white thing” and white neighborhoods should be taxed more. It is imperative that you pay attention to your local county and stop these plans before you can’t.

Under President Trump’s lead, RFK Jr. is doing a great MAHA job. They just upgraded the health food guidelines and added more protein and dairy. The top of the food pyramid is meat. Yeah. I can smell that steak on the grill. Hopefully the insane overreaching regulations on fertilizer and processing will be eliminated and meat prices will drop.

The administration was also busy on the vaccine side. When I was a child we took 7 vaccines over a period of time. Just like the Defense industry, big Pharma decided that stakeholders and executives deserved more money. So rather that making Americans healthy, they made Americans sick. The administration just slashed the recommended vaccines from over 60 to 11. Plus, the vaccines were recommended but not mandated. Funny how the opposition will slant an article. This report from MSN was a joke.

Everything is connected. The fraud in Minnesota is never ending. Snap, Medicaid unemployment benefits, Feeding our Future, Daycare fraud, NGO’s. I read that Craig’s List had a call for child actors to pose in Daycare facilities. Billions of dollars have been stolen from We The People. Please let us not be naive enough to think this is only happening in Minnesota. It is my hope that those criminal leaders involved will be arrested soon. Have you checked your state for fraud?

Why are democrats fighting to prevent the deportation of criminals? Because they are making money as well. Lt. Michael Byrd, who Shot Ashli Babbitt on Jan. 6, Operates a Taxpayer-Funded Home Daycare as $190 Million in Federal Child Care Funds Flow to Maryland.

I looked for fraud in Florida. I was not really surprised to learn about the dirty politics of the RPOF (Republican Party of Florida). It seems as though the Chairman of the RPOF, Evan Power, is a registered lobbyist with Ramba Consulting.

Of course after learning that, I am not surprised why the RPOF, a private corporation, in charge of supporting GOP candidates, is purging the grassroots from local chapters. In many cases, the refusal to help candidates causes the loss of GOP positions like the Democrat win in the Miami City mayors race. A republican position for over 30 years is now held by a democrat. Who exactly does Evan work for? Certainly not the Florida MAGA, grassroot Republicans. Evan is doing nothing to unite. Does the GOP want to win?

So much has happened this past week I can hardly catch my breath. Join me on this week’s show We will discuss the damage the GOP is doing to Florida with David Kalin in Segment 1. David ran for office and was purged by the RPOF. In segment 2 Ed Vidal will help us understand forgotten history about the true story of Venezuela.

Inflation FALLS to 2.7%, Lower Than Expectations

The Consumer Price Index climbed 2.7% from a year earlier in November, down from 3.0% in September and under economist predictions of 3.1%. Core inflation, excluding food and energy, hit 2.6%—its lowest since March 2021—while shelter costs eased to 3.0% and food rose 2.6%. Released after an October government shutdown delayed data collection, the report cheered markets, lifted stock futures and Bitcoin above $89,000, and fueled hopes for Federal Reserve rate cuts in 2026 to help borrowers.

“Unexpectedly.” Not for those of us who voted for Trump.

Remember all that left-wing panicmongering over Trump tariffs? And now crying about “affordability” but were silent when inflation shot to 9% under Biden. The left HATES you.

US inflation cools to 2.7% in November in first report after government shutdown

By Taylor Herzlich, NY Post, Dec. 18, 2025:

US inflation unexpectedly cooled in November — slowing its pace in the first report since September after a government shutdown disrupted data gathering.

The Consumer Price Index rose 2.7% in November over the past 12 months, down from 3% in September and below expectations of a 3.1% rise, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said Thursday.

People shopping during the holiday season at Hudson Yards shopping mall in New York City.

November’s inflation report did not include monthly figures, since the BLS canceled the October inflation report last month as a record-breaking government shutdown prevented the collection of data.

Last week, the Fed slashed interest rates for a third time this year on price pressures – even as it contends with a weakening labor market.

Fed Chairman Jerome Powell warned last week that upcoming economic data “may be distorted” by the shutdown and should be viewed with a “somewhat skeptical eye.”

This is a developing story.

Interest Rates, Affordability, and America’s Economic Checkup

America’s economic ship continues to drift downstream in an ebbing tide, as the Federal Reserve Open Market Committee voted at its Wednesday meeting to lower interest rates by a quarter percentage point, signaling the central bank’s ongoing unease about the health of the U.S. job market. Wednesday’s decision was the Federal Reserve’s third consecutive rate cut, and it brings the target federal funds rate down to between 3.5% and 3.75%.

Yet the board showed unusual division over the decision. The final vote was 9-3, the first time in six years that three governors have dissented in one vote. The dissenters even disagreed among themselves, with Trump loyalist Stephen Miran favoring a larger rate cut of one-half percentage point, while Chicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee and Kansas City Fed President Jeff Schmid opposed any rate cut.

In fact, division on the Federal Reserve board runs even deeper than this vote suggests. The board is comprised of 19 members, although only a rotating 12 members vote at any given meeting. However, all 19 officials offer quarterly projections for where they think interest rates should be set. On these predictions, six of the 19 officials penciled in no rate change at the December meeting. This means that four of the seven non-voting board members opposed the interest rate cut. Had different governors been on rotation this month, the vote to cut rates by a quarter point may well have failed.

The dissension arises from the inherent tension between the Federal Reserve’s dual mandates. “The Committee seeks to achieve [1] maximum employment and [2] inflation at the rate of 2% over the longer run,” the Fed explained in a Wednesday press release. “The Committee is attentive to the risks to both sides of its dual mandate and judges that downside risks to employment rose in recent months.”

The U.S. unemployment rate has ticked up from 4.1% in June to 4.4% in September, while the U.S. economy added only 193,000 jobs in the five months from May through September (the economy added 193,000 jobs in May 2024 alone). For a majority of the committee, these anemic employment figures justified yet another interest rate cut.

Meanwhile, the dissenting minority fretted over an equal danger in the opposite direction. On Wednesday, the Fed reiterated its commitment to maintain 2% inflation over the long run. Yet the 12-month inflation rate in September stood at 3.0%, up from 2.3% in April. This inflation rate is “50 percent higher than what the Fed says it wants inflation to be,” noted National Review’s John Puri, disapprovingly. And “We should expect 3 percent inflation to continue because absolutely nothing is being done to stop it.”

Thus, while America’s economic ship is floating down a hazardous channel, the navigators are divided over which sandbar is more dangerous.

One dynamic worthy of further exploration is the change in the Federal Reserve’s posture since earlier this year. For months, the Federal Reserve held interest rates steady as President Trump publicly badgered it to cut rates. Yet it has ended the year by cutting rates at three consecutive meetings. Is this a sign that the Fed finally capitulated to the president’s wishes after he installed his own man on the board? That seems an unlikely move for Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, whose term expires in May anyway.

The other possibility is that the Federal Reserve changed its behavior in response to changing economic conditions. On Monday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced $12 billion “in one time bridge payments” for struggling farmers. The press release blamed the farmers’ struggles on “four years of disastrous Biden Administration policies.” But it also named specific causes of pain, “temporary trade market disruptions and increased production costs,” which sound more like side effects of Trump’s tariff regime.

In any event, a November POLITICO/Public First poll found that Americans still remained concerned with pocketbook issues. When asked to name up to three “top issues facing the US at the moment,” its 2,000 respondents named economic issues as the top two concerns. More than half (56%) complained that the “cost of living is too high,” while 32% dinged “the poor state of the economy in general.”

Hopefully, a perplexed Federal Reserve board can navigate America into open water, and soon, so that the average household can find a moment to breathe. Send those economists back to the drawing board to theorize about a way to reduce unemployment and inflation at the same time.

Trump’s Second-Term Revolution Restoring American Greatness

Nearly a year into his triumphant second term, Trump stands as a colossus, methodically dismantling the shadowy Deep State that has long strangled the will of the people.  What began as a bold mandate from 75 million patriots in 2024 has evolved into a masterclass in executive resolve, yielding historic economic surges, ironclad border security, and a foreign policy that puts America first.  Far from being bogged down by bureaucratic sabotage, Trump’s administration has turned resistance into rocket fuel, accelerating reforms that are already delivering unprecedented prosperity and security to everyday Americans.

The Deep State’s arsenal — leaks, delays, and outright insubordination — has been exposed and neutralized with surgical precision.  Drawing lessons from his first term, where rogue bureaucrats in the FBI and DOJ orchestrated the Russia hoax and impeachments, Trump launched the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) on Day One, enlisting tech visionary Elon Musk to spearhead a blitzkrieg against waste.  This innovative task force has slashed federal spending by billions, overseeing mass layoffs of obstructive civil servants and streamlining agencies bloated by decades of leftist overreach.  Schedule F reforms, revived and expanded, have reclassified thousands of policy-influencing roles as at-will positions, empowering loyal patriots to replace the faceless apparatchiks who once weaponized government against conservatives.  Critics wail about “politicization,” but this is justice — restoring accountability to a bureaucracy that betrayed the electorate by slow-walking Trump’s agenda and shielding illegal activities, from Crossfire Hurricane to the Hunter Biden laptop suppression.

The results are nothing short of miraculous.  Despite the Deep State’s desperate rearguard actions — fomenting leaks and legal challenges — Trump’s economy is roaring back to pre-Biden glory.  Since January 2025, the U.S. has added 671,000 net jobs, with native-born workers capturing every single gain while foreign-born employment plummeted by 543,000 — a direct win for American families sidelined by open-border policies.  Core inflation hovers at a stable 2.1%, the lowest since Trump’s first term, defying the doomsayers who predicted tariff-induced chaos.  The S&P 500 and Nasdaq have shattered records multiple times, fueled by $7.6 trillion in pledged investments from companies and foreign governments eager to partner with a pro-growth America.  Treasury coffers overflow with $90 billion in tariff revenues, posting the first June surplus since 2005 and funding infrastructure without a dime in new taxes.  These aren’t accidents; they’re the fruits of Trump’s reciprocal trade war, slapping 10–50% duties on unfair partners like China and India, forcing fair deals that protect steelworkers in Pennsylvania and farmers in Iowa.

On the border, where Biden’s laxity unleashed chaos, Trump has forged an impenetrable fortress.  The Laken Riley Act, signed into law in March 2025, mandates detention for criminal illegal aliens, commemorating the Georgia nursing student’s tragic murder by an MS-13 savage.  ICE raids have deported over 250,000 offenders, invoking the Alien Enemies Act against Venezuelan gangs like Tren de Aragua — a bold stroke blocked temporarily by activist judges but upheld in spirit by the Supreme Court.  Nationwide, sanctuary cities like New York face federal ultimatums: End the shielding of 7,000-plus criminal illegals or lose funding.  Birthright citizenship for anchor babies is under assault via executive order, and the border wall expands daily, slashing crossings by 90% in key sectors.  Deep State holdouts in DHS tried to sabotage these efforts, but Trump’s loyalists — vetted warriors like Tom Homan and Stephen Miller — have rooted them out, ensuring that the wall isn’t just built, but effective.

Foreign policy, too, gleams with victories.  Trump secured a landmark NATO deal, compelling allies to hike defense spending to 5% of GDP — a feat diplomats deemed impossible.  In the Middle East, his 20-Point Gaza Peace Plan, unveiled with Prime Minister Netanyahu, delivered a ceasefire, hostage releases, and Hamas’s dismantling by October 2025, stabilizing the region without a single American boot on the ground.  Strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, backed by Israel, neutered Tehran’s ambitions, while trade pacts with Pakistan unlocked energy independence abroad.  Even in Ukraine, Trump’s tough negotiations — favoring no more blank checks — paved the way for mineral deals funding reconstruction, proving that diplomacy through strength works.  The Deep State’s globalist puppets, from USAID saboteurs hiding Syria ops to WHO enablers, have been defunded and defanged, with $7.6 billion in green energy pork axed to prioritize real security.

Health and education reforms cut through the woke rot with equal vigor.  The Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) agenda, led by HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., bans DIE indoctrination in federal agencies and revives the Mexico City Policy, defunding overseas abortions while safeguarding taxpayer dollars for essential programs.  The 2025 Marketplace Rule ensures that Obamacare subsidies go only to qualifiers, stabilizing premiums and exposing fraud.  In schools, Executive Order 14191 expands educational freedom, empowering parents against union bosses and curriculum censors.  Bureaucrats who resisted — firing inspectors general who probed too deeply — were swiftly shown the door, their “trauma” a small price for liberating American kids from radical agendas.

Of course, the swamp fights dirty.  Impeachment whispers from Al Green and Democrat resolutions citing phantom “crimes” are desperate flails from a party eyeing 2026 wipeouts.  Leaks from FEMA holdouts and DOJ foot-draggers aim to manufacture failures, but Trump’s 143 executive orders in the first 100 days — more than any president — have steamrolled them.  Pardons for 1,500 January 6 heroes restored justice, while revoking 111 Biden edicts erased the woke stain.  As Russell Vought, OMB director and Project 2025 architect, declares, this is no mercy mission: “We want the bureaucrats to be traumatically affected,” ensuring loyalty to the Constitution over cabal.

Trump’s second act isn’t just governance; it’s a reckoning.  From job booms to border walls, from NATO wins to Middle East peace, he’s proving that the Deep State is no match for a leader who fights for forgotten Americans.  As 2026 looms, the midterms beckon as a referendum on renewal.  The people who sent him back to the Oval know: Trump is dynamiting the swamp, rebuilding on solid ground.

America is winning again, and under President Trump, that victory is just beginning.

JOBS REPORT BLOWOUT: Over Double the Expected Number of Jobs

The first jobs report is in since the Democrat shutdown ended and it is a blowout.

The latest jobs report delivered a surprise blow-out: the economy added substantially more jobs than forecast, sending a clear signal of strength in the labour market. Employers added well over double the expected number of non-farm positions, and the unemployment rate dipped modestly, underscoring resilience in hiring despite economic headwinds. Wage growth also edged up, suggesting that employers are still competing for talent. The report will give the Federal Reserve more leverage to lean against cutting interest rates prematurely.

The US Labor Department officially published the September jobs report 48 days late:

The US added 119,000 jobs in September, above expectations of 53,000.

Median income rising.

Wage growth outpacing inflation—dramatic shift.

The market is on fire. The Dow and the US stock market futures are up hundreds of points.

Democrats Continue Government Shutdown In Order to Hurt the American People

The vision of the two parties could not be more crystal clear. Trump — world peace, prosperity for all Americans.

Democrats – destroy, destroy destroy.

The Speaker of the House was on “This Week on the Hill”

You’ve seen what Chuck Schumer said two days ago. He said, every day the government is closed is better for us. It is stunning to me that they say these things out loud. He tried to clean up on aisle five after that, but that tells you what they really think. He’s getting accolades from the far left, and that is 100% what all this was about…. They are not operating in good faith. They are lying to the American people and they’re trying to mislead people so that Chuck Shumer can appease the Marxist left. This is reality. There’s a rising Marxist movement in the Democratic Party right now. They’re about to elect a mayor of New York City who is at that ideology? Chuck Schumer serves from the state of New York and he’s terrified he’s going to get a challenge in this next Senate reelect that is all this is about (Salem Podcast Network)

Democrat: The Party of the Shutdown, by the Shutdown and for the Shutdown

A senior Democratic aide said they will not reopen the government short of “planes falling out of the sky,” as long as public perception is in their favor, according to CNN

WATCH: This video from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is playing in airports across the country

TORRE in a column titled US Democrats won’t end shutdown unless ‘planes fall out of the sky’ – CNN. reports:

Over 9,000 flights have already been canceled or delayed due to a shortage of air traffic controllers across the country

Democrats have said they will not agree to end the US government shutdown unless Republicans meet their demands, with one senior aide telling CNN it would take an airline catastrophe for the party to back down.

The federal government shut down on October 1 after Republicans and Democrats failed to agree on a spending bill in the Senate. The impasse has left hundreds of thousands of federal employees furloughed or working without pay as the standoff enters its second week.

The shutdown has also disrupted air travel across the country. According to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) data, more than 9,000 flights have been delayed or canceled amid a shortage of air traffic controllers.

Air traffic controllers are classified as essential workers and must continue working without pay, which has led to widespread absences and temporary closures at several major airports.

Nevertheless, Democratic leaders have told CNN they will hold their position until Republicans agree to extend Affordable Care Act healthcare subsidies. One anonymous senior Democratic aide told the outlet that as long as public perception remains in their favor, the party “will not concede short of planes falling out of the sky” – a remark that has drawn widespread criticism.

Republican Speaker Mike Johnson has also condemned Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for reportedly saying that “every day of the shutdown makes it better for us,” accusing the Democrat of forcing Americans to suffer for political gain.

Schumer has accused the Republicans of “risking America’s healthcare” and refusing to negotiate in good faith.

The Party of the Shutdown, by the Shutdown and for the Shutdown

Key Impacts of the 2025 Government Shutdown:

  1. Essential Services: Critical services like air traffic control, Social Security, and veterans’ healthcare will continue, but many federal agencies are operating with reduced staff. For instance, the CDC, NIH, and FDA will have fewer personnel available to monitor health issues and conduct inspections, potentially impacting public health and safety.
  2. Public ServicesNational parks remain open but with minimal staffing, leading to fewer services for visitors, such as trail maintenance and ranger programs. Passport and visa processing will slow down, affecting international travel plans.
  3. Economic ConsequencesThe shutdown could cost the economy billions, particularly affecting local economies where federal workers reside. While federal employees typically receive back pay after shutdown, contractors and businesses reliant on government contracts may not receive compensation, leading to broader economic repercussions.
  4. Political ContextThe shutdown stems from partisan dispute over healthcare funding, with Democrats advocating for the extension of Affordable Care Act subsidies, while Republicans seek to separate these discussions from government funding. This political stalemate has led to the current funding impasse.

Conclusion

The ongoing government shutdown in 2025 is having widespread effects on federal operations, employee livelihoods, and public services.

The longer the shutdown persists, the more pronounced these impacts will become.

Affecting not only government functions but also the daily lives of citizens and the overall economy.

The 2026 midterm elections will be held on November 3, 2026.

Remember that the Republican Party is of the people, by the people and for the people.

EXCLUSIVE: Chinese Gov’t-Tied Network Training Illegal Immigrants To Drive Big Rigs In US

Chinese illegal immigrants are obtaining commercial driver’s licenses (CDL) and landing jobs in the U.S. trucking industry with support from a Chinese government-linked network, a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation discovered.

The Chinese American Trucker Organization USA Inc. (CATOU) is a New York-based nonprofit trade organization registered as a 501(c)6 that has allegedly helped over 1,000 Chinese students obtain CDLs and has a 100% pass rate, according to its business filings, social media posts and website. Videos posted on social media by an individual who crossed the U.S. southern border illegally shows they were able to rapidly obtain California CDLs after taking courses taught by CATOU instructors.

The public safety concern presented by truckers with unknown criminal backgrounds and driving records is compounded by CATOU’s board chairwoman, Geng Hang, who has held leadership roles within organizations operating as arms of the Chinese government and a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) influence and intelligence agency called the United Front Work Department (UFWD), according to DCNF translations of announcements from those entities.

“No way American citizens voted for the California gateway for illegal migrants to operate heavy vehicles throughout America. That of itself is a public safety and homeland security concern,” Steve Yates, senior research fellow for China and national security policy at the Heritage Foundation, told the DCNF.

“Having a large CCP-tied network further train, certify, and place ‘their’ illegal migrants throughout vital surface shipping routes — urban, rural, and interstate — elevates national security risks,” Yates said. “At a time of high tension, crisis, or conflict with the CCP, what confidence could we have this network could not and would not be used against us?”

CATOU and Geng did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

‘Not One Has Failed So Far’

Chinese social media posts show CATOU instructors teaching students about the trucking industry inside the New York office of Red Apple Employment Agency, which is also led by Geng, and helps Chinese nationals both with and “without proper status” find work for “$80 to $100 per job placement,” The Wall Street Journal reported in July 2024.

While the DCNF found no New York business filing for Red Apple Employment Agency, the agency’s office displays signs featuring both CATOU and its name, videos posted by CATOU on Chinese social media reveal.

CATOU members have also taught truck driving courses at 7 CDL Driving School in Manassas, Virginia, videos within posts from the X account @tiange999 show. The driving school shares its address with a trucking company that Geng owns called Red Apple Enterprises Inc., according to business filings and 7 CDL’s website.

“The driving school where I’m studying has trained over 1,000 Chinese students and not one has failed so far,” @tiange999 wrote in a September 2024 X post featuring videos filmed with a CATOU instructor at 7 CDL Driving School, according to a DCNF translation. “Experienced students can pass in just one week, while those with no driving experience pass in about a month.”

The @tiange999 account is operated by a Chinese national who traveled up from South America and Central America into North America before crossing the U.S. southern border in June 2023. The owner of the account has since referred to himself as someone who “walked the line,” which is a “euphemism for illegal migration out of China,” Simon Hankinson, senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Center For Border Security and Immigration, testified during a May 2024 hearing held by the House Committee on Homeland Security’s Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Accountability.

Roughly 8.5 million illegal aliens were encountered at the U.S. southern border during the Biden administration, including over 182,000 Chinese nationals from fiscal years 2021-2024, a spokeswoman for Customs and Border Protection told the DCNF.

The @tiange999 account also features videos detailing how he passed the CDL test at 7 CDL Driving School and ultimately obtained CDL qualification in less than two months after first announcing he’d received a California driver’s license in August 2024.

More recent posts show @tiange999 driving a coach bus with identification numbers revealing his employer to be NC Transfer Inc., which has branches in North Carolina and New York, according to business filings.

The Trump administration is ramping up scrutiny of the trucking industry following a deadly August 2025 crash in Florida involving an illegal immigrant truck driver with a California CDL, according to the Department of Homeland Security. The truck driver has been charged with three counts of vehicular homicide and a preliminary Department of Transportation (DOT) investigation allegedly discovered he “did not speak English.”

“I would say just the drivers alone is not scary enough on the national security front,” Justin Martin, a 15-year trucking industry veteran, told the DCNF.

“These guys are already here, and they’re already operating, and it doesn’t matter how many of these trucks you catch or how many of these drivers you shut down, they’re just going to get hired somewhere else until they start going after the companies and the owners of these companies and shutting them down and preventing them from coming back,” Martin said.

‘Foreign Actors’

CATOU’s chairwoman, Geng, has served as an official in multiple organizations advancing Chinese influence and intelligence efforts in the U.S., including one entity that has held meetings in the New York office shared by CATOU and Red Apple Employment Agency, according to DCNF translations of Chinese media reports, social media posts, and the organizations’ announcements.

Among other Chinese government-tied leadership positions, the website of a New York nonprofit called the American Shaanxi General Chamber of Commerce (ASGCC) identifies Geng as its deputy chairwoman, according to a DCNF translation. ASGCC operates as a branch of the Shaanxi provincial Department of Commerce as well as a “sister association” of a UFWD arm called the China Overseas Friendship Association (COFA), according to DCNF translations of ASGCC and COFA announcements.

ASGCC has repeatedly met with Chinese government officials, including in June 2009, when the nonprofit welcomed a delegation from the Shaanxi government and the UFWD‘s Chinese People’s Association For Friendship With Foreign Countries to discuss U.S. investment in China, according to DCNF translations of ASGCC announcements. Geng presented the delegation’s head with flowers at the airport, and she and other ASGCC members later serenaded the officials with songs like “Nanniwan,” which commemorates the CCP and Chinese military, according to Chinese state media.

Photos accompanying a January 2015 social media post made by ASGCC’s chairman also show ASGCC has held meetings within the shared New York office of CATOU and Red Apple Employment Agency.

“We are slowly giving over our entire truck industry to foreign actors,” Gord Magill, a truck industry writer, told the DCNF.

“I think foreign actors are fully aware that America’s corporations engaging in wage arbitrage and wage suppression against their own people are presenting opportunities for them to extract and scrape value out of the U.S. and give them some kind of strategic advantage in knowing exactly how our transportation systems work, and they’re just leveraging it for their own ends at the cost of American jobs and American motorists’ safety,” Magill said.

ASGCC, Red Apple Employment Agency, 7 CDL Driving School, Red Apple Enterprises, @tiange999, NC Transfer Inc. and DOT did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
