Dr. Fadi Kablawi said in a January 26, 2024 Friday sermon at Masjid As Sunna An Nabawiyyah North Miami, which was streamed live on Facebook that Zionism is a problem for the whole world. He said that if it serves their interests, “those sociopaths” will do what they are doing to the Palestinians in Gaza to the Christians, Chinese, Germans, and Americans. Dr. Kablawi said that they have to create “scenarios” like 9/11, assassinations, or explosions around the world, “so they can come and kill us.” He said that Muslims do not wish to kill any Americans or to take over their country. However, Dr. Kablawi said, if the U.S. becomes a Muslim majority country, the citizens would choose to implement shari’a law. He added: “I am here [in the U.S.], so I can covert America.”

Dr. Fadi Kablawi: “Those enemies of human beings, if they do it to the Palestinians in Gaza, they will do it to you if they need to.

“This is who they are, sociopaths. They will do that to any other person if they just reach a point that they are convinced that it is for their interests. They will do it to the Christians, they will do it to the Chinese, they will do it to the Americans, they will do it to the Germans… By Allah, they will do it to anybody. “So that sign here on the Golden Glades, when you leave… that Hamas is not only your problem or something… It’s your problem too… Hamas is your problem too. Did you see the language? Hamas is going to finish Israel, and they are going to start going to Europe and America. It is going to take a long time, digging a tunnel under the Atlantic Ocean, dude.

“But anyway, the idea is scare tactics, ‘it is your problem too.’ You know who is your problem too? Zionism is the problem of the world. Take it from me. Go back and read their history, learn their history. Who did assassinations all over the world? Who blew up buildings all over the world? Who blew up American ships? Who did? Hamas or the Mossad? Who blew up [the World Trade Center] on 9/11? Oh…

MIAMI: Venezuelan Gang Member Accused Of Kidnapping, Strangling Florida Man To Death Was In U.S. Illegally

A member of a violent Venezuelan gang accused of kidnapping and strangling to death a man in Florida was in the U.S. illegally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Border Patrol in Danie Beach, Florida, issued a detainer with the Miami Dade County Corrections for the arrest of Yurwin Salazar Maita, the illegal alien from Venezuela, on Jan. 10 following his arrest on state homicide and kidnapping charges, ICE told the DCNF. Salazar Maita, who is a member of the Venezuelan gang Tren De Aragua, is accused of kidnapping and murdering Jose Luis Sanchez Valera in November, according to a local news report.

“As part of its mission to identify and arrest removable noncitizens, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) lodges immigration detainers against noncitizens who have been arrested for criminal activity and taken into custody by state or local law enforcement. An immigration detainer is a request from ICE to state or local law enforcement agencies to notify ICE as early as possible before a removable noncitizen is released from their custody,” an ICE spokesperson told the DCNF.

The victim was lured on Nov. 27 by women to a La Quinta Inn & Suites in Doral, Florida, according to the local report. At around 2:35 a.m. on Nov. 28, Sanchez Valera left the hotel room with two women and was ambushed by three individuals, allegedly including Salazar Maita, who kidnapped him in the hotel parking lot.

Two gunmen also broke into Sanchez Valera’s apartment, stealing a safe, according to the local report. Sanchez Valera’s relatives later found his dead body in his car, where he had his hands and feet bound with tape in the back seat, and a medical examiner later ruled his cause of death as asphyxiation.

Tren de Aragua primarily exploits Venezuelan women and children in trafficking in Peru, according to the State Department. The gang’s leader Héctor Guerrero, 40, fled a prison in Venezuela that he gained control over and is a fugitive wanted in Venezuela, Peru, Chile and by Interpol, according to the local news outlet.

Young members of the Venezuelan gang have been trying to enter the U.S. by forgoing tattoos showing their affiliation to skirt border authorities, Kyle Williamson, the director of the West Texas Anti-Gang Center located in El Paso, Texas, previously told the DCNF.

Feds detain 4 migrants from Iraq after boat arrival in Miami Beach

Local 10, April 29, 2023:

MIAMI – Four migrants from Iraq arrived at Miami Beach by boat on Friday, according to the U.S. Border Patrol.

The migrants abandoned the boat on the beach, north of Collins Park, at 2100 Collins Ave., and the W South Beach, a luxury hotel, near the Miami Beach Boardwalk.

Chief Patrol Agent Walter Slosar, who is based out of South Florida described the incident as a “suspected maritime smuggling event”…

I am finding it more and more curious that Team Biden is supposedly “16 points” ahead in the polls…

How is Biden so far ahead, but has zero enthusiasm as we head into the final few weeks of the campaign?

And how is Biden so far ahead, when Hillary – a far, far better and more popular candidate who also campaigned on Obama’s “3rd term” –  lost?

Are we to suddenly believe that Americans want to go back to the stagnant Obama-era, after soundly rejecting that time and moving on? Where’s the proof that’s happening… where are the American people in the streets demanding “Hope and Change Part 2”?

So, I guess my question is – why is Biden so far ahead? What policies has he put forth that are so “earth-shattering” that they’re literally shaking the very foundation of the electorate by a stunning 16-points?

I mean, let’s be real…he can’t even tell the American people if he’ll stack the courts or not. Furthermore, he can’t figure out what state he is in half the time…

So, seriously, what is it about Biden that has supposedly set the nation on fire?

I’m dying to know – because right now I feel like I am the only person who’s not in on the “big secret.”

Meanwhile, as Biden “soars” (wink, wink) in the polls for reasons nobody can truly explain, President Trump’s enthusiasm is through the roof.

As a matter of fact, just today in downtown Miami a massive gathering of over 30 thousand cars filled with Cubans, Columbians, and others gathered to say “NO” to Democrat communism and show massive love and support for President Trump.

There were Trump flags flying everywhere!

There is no denying that Florida is “Trump Country.”

Lost in the fracas here is the fact that what Annabelle Lima-Taub wrote is largely true. Tlaib really is demonstrably an anti-Semite who is friendly with several open supporters of jihad terror. See, for example, all the evidence here and here. That she might “blow up Capitol Hill” is hyperbole, but of course J. C. Jimenez never for a moment considered the possibility that Anabelle Lima-Taub may actually have been on to something, or that Ilhan Omar really might be a hatemonger and that Rashida Tlaib may really be an anti-Semite who is sympathetic to jihad terror groups and jihadis themselves. And no establishment media journalist would dare ask Tlaib or Omar themselves for a statement on their obvious closeness to anti-Semites and supporters of the jihad against Israel. Establishment media journalists only ask tough questions to those who dissent from the Leftist agenda, not to those who support that agenda.

Pablo Lima should immediately be reinstated, and Jimenez should apologize to him. But that would require this to be a sane world.

The husband of a Hallandale Beach commissioner who was condemned for anti-Muslim comments was placed on administrative leave by the Bay Harbor Islands police department Thursday for social media posts appearing to show support for his wife’s views.

Pablo Lima, a corporal in Bay Harbor Islands and a former vice president of the Miami-Dade police union, submitted an application Tuesday to become the town’s next police chief.

On Thursday morning, after the Miami Herald asked town officials about comments and posts that Lima “liked” on Facebook and Instagram, the department placed him on paid leave and opened an internal affairs investigation.

“The content of the social media posts that were brought to our attention are not consistent with our Town’s values and policies,” Town Manager J.C. Jimenez said in a statement. “Corporal Pablo Lima is currently on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal affairs investigation. State law prohibits us from discussing details of an open internal affairs investigation.”…

In January 2019, the Hallandale Beach City Commission voted 3-2 to condemn Commissioner Anabelle Lima-Taub for a Facebook post saying that Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, the first Palestinian-American woman elected to the U.S. Congress, might become “a martyr and blow up Capitol Hill.”

The post was denounced as hate speech by numerous Muslim and Jewish human rights organizations, but Lima-Taub remained unapologetic, saying Tlaib’s support for boycotting Israel equated her with terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.

The day of the commission vote, dozens of supporters of Lima-Taub held Israeli flags and signs calling Tlaib a terrorist outside Hallandale Beach City Hall. The group included people with a wide range of politics, including those who support Israel and denounce the boycott movement against it, and far-right Internet personality and conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer.

On Jan. 30, 2019, one week after the vote to condemn the Israeli-born Lima-Taub, Pablo Lima shared a story on his Facebook page from WLRN.org titled, “Why A Hallandale Beach Panel Condemned A Commissioner For Anti-Islamic Language.”

Lima proceeded to “like” five comments showing support for Lima-Taub, including multiple comments that appeared to espouse anti-Muslim sentiments. One comment that Lima “liked” included the line: “This [piece of s—] took her oath on the Koran.”

“Screw these liberal commisioners and mayor,” the comment said. “When will these politicians grow some cohones and start supporting America and it’s Americans. They talk about [Lima-Taub] being a racist and spewing hate. These [expletive] forget that this muslim [Tlaib] supports the people who flew planes into our NY twin towers and killed over 5000 people and more dying from exposure still 18 years later.”

The comment continued: “This [piece of s—] took her oath on the Koran. She openly hates Jews and talks about how they should all die or be killed. Remind me again why you would not support Lima-Talib [Lima-Taub]?”

Lima also “liked” comments on the post that said: “I applaud her”; “Complete BS….”; and “free speach fk them.”

Another comment that Lima “liked” said: “But Talib [Tlaib] gets to spew her hatred of Jews and others not of the Islamic faith and it’s ok not to defend yourself ? I’m with the commissioner, awaiting the next terrorist plot to open eyes again only when something happens.”

Lima did not post any comments below the Facebook post himself.

The Herald also made Bay Harbor Islands officials aware of an Instagram post by Lima-Taub that was “liked” by Lima’s personal account.

In a post on Sept. 11, 2019, Lima-Taub quoted a statement by U.S. Rep Ilhan Omar ⁠— one of the first two Muslim women to serve in Congress, along with Tlaib ⁠— that “some people did something” in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

Lima-Taub, using her Instagram account “@theroguecommissioner,” called Omar a “hate monger” and said the United States was “founded on Judeo-Christian values.”

“#NeverForget #911 ‘Some people did something,’ as per America’s vitriolic hate monger, @repilhan!” Lima-Taub wrote. “Those 19 Jihadi terrorists massacred over 3,000 innocent men and women, encroached on our constitutional rights and caused several billion in loss to dollars with the deliberate action to destabilize our economic stability.

“This country was founded on Judeo-Christian values and we must never let the deaths of those who perished on 9/11 be in vain.”…

The Bay Harbor Islands police department’s social media policy prohibits any speech that “ridicules, maligns, disparages, or otherwise expresses bias against any gender, race, religion, or any protected class of individuals.”…

“‘We need to take our revenge now.’ South Florida man wanted ISIS to bomb colleges, feds say,” by David Ovalle, Miami Herald, November 25, 2019:

A North Miami Beach man who wanted the “establishment of Islamic law” plotted to bomb deans at two of his former colleges, federal authorities said Monday.

Salman Rashid, 23, appeared in Miami federal court on Monday charged with soliciting another person to commit a violent crime.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Rashid targeted unnamed deans at Miami Dade College and Broward College, schools from which he had been expelled. Rashid told a confidential source working with the FBI that he wanted the explosives to be “as big as possible,” according to a press release….

According to the FBI, agents began investigating Rashid in approximately April 2018 after he made a slew of public Facebook posts about overthrowing democracy and establishing Islamic law.

He exhibited a “growing hatred of America, democracy, non-Muslims and secular Muslims,” according to a criminal complaint by FBI Agent Kim McGreevy….

By the fall, Rashid also ran afoul of Miami Dade College administrators after a fellow student reported to campus authorities that he was sending her “threatening text messages,” according to the criminal complaint.

In one series of messages, Rashid detailed his growing obsession with the woman and threatened, “you will not have excuses, will not be given a choice and will have to come close to me.”…

In May 2019, that woman contacted the FBI because Rashid had posted a video that showed a man “grieving over his murdered girlfriend” — and Rashid posted he would soon “leave his world.” The woman feared Rashid might kill himself and her too, agents said.

The complaint said Rashid’s Facebook account was awash with grievances against feminists, Jews and people who mistreated Muslims. He also declared himself “the next rightful Caliph” — the leader of the Muslim world, according to the FBI.

That month, Rashid “solicited” one of the confidential sources to get in touch with members of the Middle Eastern terrorist group known as ISIS, or the Islamic State.

He complained that Muslims in Miami had been attacked and he wanted revenge. He wanted ISIS to conduct a “terrorist attack” on his behalf, preferably on a religious building or a nightclub, according to the press release….

Rashid urged the supposed ISIS member to target “arrogant men and woman who refuse to recognize our authority and hate Islam,” according to the FBI…

“Rashid indicated the Miami dean and the Broward dean were not just Rashid’s enemies but also ‘enemies of Islam, enemies of Allah,’ ” the complaint said.

He also “provided information about the locations to place the devices and his assessment of security that might be present at the colleges,” according to the press release.

Miami: Muslim gets 15 years for conspiring to support jihad mass murderers

MIAMI (AP) — A Kenyan man described by U.S. prosecutors as a fundraiser and recruiter for terrorist groups in Africa and the Middle East was sentenced Friday to 15 years in federal prison.

U.S. District Judge Ursula Ungaro imposed the maximum possible sentence on 27-year-old Mohamed Said. He pleaded guilty in May to charges of conspiring to support to Africa’s violent al-Shabaab organization and al-Qaida affiliates in Syria and elsewhere.

Said’s attorney, Silvia Pinera-Vazquez, had sought a more lenient eight-year sentence because Said never plotted directly against the U.S. and was solely supporting what she described as foreign “insurgents.”

“There is simply no evidence of direct intent to harm the United States,” she said.

Oh, well, then it’s OK? Not quite:

But Ungaro said terrorist groups he supported have an avowed intent to attack the U.S. and its interests overseas.

“It’s not reasonable to say that his conduct did not touch the United States. It did,” Ungaro said.

Said and co-defendant Gufran Mohammed were arrested in 2013 in Saudi Arabia in a case that evolved from undercover FBI monitoring of Internet chat rooms frequented by Islamic extremists. Mohammed, a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from India, is already serving a 15-year prison sentence after pleading guilty.

Said, from Mombasa, Kenya, had never been to the U.S. before his arrest. It was his use of the Internet and communications with undercover FBI operatives and Mohammed — who lived in the Los Angeles area — that enabled the U.S. to charge him with federal terrorism support crimes.

Of the two, Said played the more critical role because of his connections to the leadership of the terrorist groups and knowledge of their inner workings, said Assistant U.S. Attorney Ricardo Del Toro. The prosecutor noted that al-Shabaab’s most notorious attack was the 2013 assault on a shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya, that left 67 people dead.

“He was an insider in al-Shabaab,” Del Toro said. “The goal of these organizations is to murder civilians.”…

Why, of course, the Jewish and non-Jewish outrage would be irrepressible, relentless, insatiable until justice was accomplished.

Where is the Jewish outrage when Jewish blood is spilled? On the first anniversary of his cold-blooded murder, who will utter from the pulpit the name of “Joseph Raksin,” executed on his way to pray with his grandchildren on a perfect Miami Beach day in a perfect Florida neighborhood except for the relentless hate crimes numbering dozens and continuing?

Miami Beach anti-Semitic hate crimes involve numerous swastikas and hateful words and symbols spray-painted on Jewish buildings, a youth center and bus, neighborhood Publix, Jewish-owned cars, and synagogues. On July 28, 2014, during the Gaza War, a synagogue two blocks from Rabbi Raksin’s future place of death was defaced with swastikas painted in red across its stately white columns and front façade.

Where is the Jewish outrage when Jewish blood is spilled and synagogues are defaced with Nazi symbols and slogans? In one year’s time, who has made the Rabbi’s horrific broad-daylight execution a cause for speeches and news articles? Where are the suspects now?

Without your voice, our extended Jewish Florida family waits in fear of more crimes inflicted upon them and their property. Where is your voice? Where are the suspects, who could be planning more mayhem against the quiet Jews?

Rabbi Raksin was identifiably Jewish by his manner of dress. While he was walking to synagogue on the Jewish Sabbath, Saturday, August 9, 2014, at 9:00 AM, he was shot dead. Prior to his cold-blooded murder and after, there was a continuing string of hate crimes against the Miami Beach Jewish community, including, among other crimes, defacings of synagogues with swastikas, carving Nazi symbols into Jewish-owned cars, defacings of other Jewish buildings and the Publix in the Jewish neighborhood, threats against Jews, and defacings of a school bus and youth center in the area.

At this time, no one has been arrested, and aggressive tireless investigations need to be conducted to find the perpetrators of this obvious anti-Semitic hate crime and the other associated anti-Semitic hate crimes in the area.

Miami, FL: Cuban Muslim Wanted to Shoot People in Stadium to Create Chaos

So many converts to Islam somehow get the crazy idea that Islam mandates warfare against unbelievers, and yet there is not a single program anywhere in the world in any mosque or Islamic school to teach converts to reject this understanding of Islam that the vast majority of Muslims ostensibly rejects.

A Miami fedeal [sic] judge sentenced a Cuban–born sympathizer of the terror group ISIS to 10 years in prison Monday.

“A more severe sentence is needed to protect the public,” U.S. District Court Judge Joan Lenard said during a lengthy statement explaining why she imposed the maximum sentence listed in the indictment, instead of showing leniency as the defense requested.

The sentence closed a chapter in a case that drew international attention when it first emerged in federal court records in April. The allegations in an FBI criminal complaint caused a sensation because the informant related that the suspect spoke of smuggling a rifle into a stadium and shooting people to create chaos in the city.

Miguel Morán Díaz, 45, pleaded guilty May 27 to charges of possessing firearms despite being a convicted felon. Morán was previously sentenced to 46 months in the federal penitentiary in 2005 in a cocaine case. The indictment made no mention of his sympathies for ISIS, but the criminal complaint filed in the case by an FBI agent said Díaz spoke to an informant of his desire of becoming a “lone wolf” for the terror group that controls parts of Syria and Iraq and which has inspired hundreds of foreigners in several countries to join its ranks or express sympathy for it.

Toward the end of the hour-long sentencing hearing in Miami federal court, Diáz’s attorney, federal public defender Daniel Ecarius, told Lenard that his client made reference to ISIS simply “as conversation” and that in some instances he “was encouraged by the informant” to make those references.

Díaz, who appeared in court in a khaki detainee uniform, his ankles shackled, spoke briefly at his sentencing.

“I want to apologize to the community,” he said in a low voice. “I guarantee that it won’t happen again.”…

How grand. Go back to sleep, then.

Is There a Middle Road between Marijuana Incarceration and Marijuana Legalization?

As part of its special series titled Race Matters, an investigation by Miami’s CBS4 News this week, provides an opportunity to consider new ways to think about marijuana and racial imbalances in the way our laws are enforced.

CBS4 News gathered and analyzed police records of every misdemeanor marijuana case in Miami Dade County between 2010 and 2014. They found:

  • Misdemeanor marijuana arrests accounted for ten percent of all cases filed in the court system.
  • Of 44,860 closed cases, 55 percent had African-American defendants, even though the county is less than 20 percent black.
  • Just two percent of these cases resulted in a conviction.
    • Of these, 74 percent were black.
  • Prosecutors dismissed or dropped 49 percent of these cases.
    • Of these, 56 percent were white.
  • The other 49 percent of cases were settled by a “withhold of adjudication,” an admission of guilt but not a formal conviction. However, the admission stays in a person’s permanent record, hurts his or her ability to find work or housing, and can prevent the person from enlisting in the military, receiving student loans, or becoming a citizen.
    • 65 percent of these were black.

CBS4 News writes, “Miami Dade Police Director JD Patterson and others in his department have argued police officers are not targeting blacks, they are merely making stops and arrests in neighborhoods with a high crime rate. And those neighborhoods just happen to be predominantly black.”

“Donald Jones, a constitutional and civil rights law professor at the University of Miami, says that may have been the initial intent of the police, but what has happened over time is that officers begin looking at everyone in those neighborhoods as a suspect and begin treating them differently as well. ‘It says to me that we’re profiling,’ Jones said. ‘We’ve gotten to a point where we criminalize whole communities. We see certain communities as being communities of criminals and we police them that way.’ Jones said it can have a chilling effect on the relationship between the police and the community. ‘It creates an atmosphere as if this is a different America,’ he said.”

We note that the 44,000-plus marijuana cases CBS4 News examined are only 10 percent of all cases that went through the Miami Dade County court system over the five-year period.

Proponents have built their case for marijuana legalization on racial inequities in the enforcement of marijuana laws like these in Miami Dade County, implying that legalizing pot will end unequal enforcement of the law. But the problem of racial disparities in the criminal justice system is much deeper than marijuana alone, as Professor Jones explains. Until we can see that, we won’t be able to change it effectively.

Few Americans believe that putting low-level marijuana offenders, black or white, in jail is appropriate. Few believe that straddling them with lifetime criminal records is fair or just. Judges in Miami Dade County hope the county commission will adopt a proposed civil citation ordinance that would give police the option of issuing a $100 ticket to marijuana offenders. This would keep them out of the criminal justice system and reduce costs to taxpayers.

We believe that is a good first step, but it does not go far enough. Despite denials from legalization proponents, marijuana is addictive. Some nine percent of people who try the drug will become addicted. The number rises to 17 percent if use begins in adolescence and to 25 percent to 50 percent for daily use. We would like to see a public health/social justice system replace the criminal justice system for low-level marijuana offenders. Its goal would be to provide public health and social services to them after they pay their fines. Such services would medically assess them to determine if they are addicted. Those who are would receive treatment. Those who aren’t would receive educational and social services to help them pursue more productive lives. Money saved from removing marijuana cases from the courts could be used to finance this system.

Or we could do away with the marijuana laws, legalize pot, and ignore the consequences. To do so would be to allow a commercial marijuana industry to emerge that will rival the tobacco and alcohol industries, as all three prey on children, the addicted, the poor and the vulnerable, while simply discarding the victims who can’t handle their products.

Miami: Muslim pleads guilty to aiding jihad terror groups

“Kenyan man pleads guilty in US terrorism support case based on chat room intercepts,” by Curt Anderson, Associated Press, May 28, 2015:

MIAMI — A Kenyan man pleaded guilty in the U.S. on Thursday to terrorism support charges in a case that involved Internet chat room and other online communications with undercover FBI operatives.

Mohamed Said pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to provide material support to foreign terrorist organizations. A factual statement signed by Said identifies those groups as al-Shabaab in Africa and extremist organizations operating in Syria, including al-Qaida.

Said, 27, faces a maximum 15-year prison term when he is sentenced Aug. 14 by U.S. District Judge Ursula Ungaro. A co-defendant, Gufran Mohammed, is already serving that same 15-year sentence after pleading guilty last year.

The case evolved from FBI monitoring of Internet chat rooms frequented by Muslim extremists, according to court documents. FBI undercover employees posed as online terrorism recruiters and fundraisers in communications with both Mohammed and Said, who were both overseas.

Said admitted in the factual statement that in 2011 he received more than $11,600 in wire transfers from Mohammed for al-Shabaab and that he had told Mohammed later, “I sent it and it was distributed among the mujahedeen.”

“I am sending more this week (Allah willing),” Mohammed wrote back….

Mohammed is a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from India who has a master’s degree in computer science from California State University in Los Angeles.…

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) — A man accused of threatening the congregation of a Miami Beach synagogue over the weekend denied having made the incriminating remarks after returning to the scene of the incident late Tuesday afternoon.

Diego Chaar was arrested Sunday and is facing misdemeanor assault and stalking charges. When asked why he approached Orthodox Jews at Ohev Shalom Synagogue Saturday night with the purpose of converting them, Chaar replied, “I want to take them to paradise. I don’t want them to burn in hell for the rest of eternity. I feel like that they’re worshipping right now is nothing, it’s fake. It don’t exist, in my opinion.”

Rabbi Pinchas Weberman, the synagogue’s head rabbi for over 54 years and a chaplain for Miami Beach Police and Miami-Dade Police, said he remains concerned for his congregation’s safety after the suspect approached members of the congregation, including his son. “A group of young men were outside in the front area, the front lawn, sitting on the benches, and they were approached by somebody who was screaming, ‘Allahu akbar (‘God is great’ in Arabic). I’m gonna cut your heads off.’ He repeated that, and they went and called the police. They used the term that the terrorists used when they killed the infidels, and they threatened to cut their heads off.”

Miami Beach Police patrolled the synagogue Tuesday to ensure the safety of the congregation, but the stepped-up police presence did not stop Chaar from showing up outside the premises. He told 7News he has the “responsibility” to convert people to Islam, adding he converted while in prison.

Chaar, however, said he didn’t want to come across as he was forcing the congregation members to convert to Islam. “I don’t got to force it upon them, but I could offer them my insight, I could offer them what I think is the truth, is the right path to Heaven,” he said.

Chaar then denied having said he wanted to cut off the congregants’ heads. “Oh I did not say that,” he said.

Weberman said he now wants the case investigated as a hate crime. “I never like to over-exaggerate, and I don’t like to minimize, so what I do is, I report this to law enforcement agencies, those that I feel are responsible for it and those that I feel will take a professional approach to it and handle it,” he said.

The rabbi is also urging his community to be more cautious of any suspicious or harmful behavior. “I like the Jewish community to be aware of these things,” said Weberman. “It’s happened in certain places, which it was really a serious thing, and therefore, if they see anything suspicious, they should report it immediately.”

Two men were executed on city streets, on August 9, 2014, one in Miami Beach and one in a small Missouri town, on the same Sabbath morning, one at 9:00 am and the other less than three hours later. One has been determined by the police to have “no evidence of a hate crime” committed against him, and the other has received overwhelming worldwide media attention for exactly that, because a White police officer riddled with bullets the face and body of the unarmed Black teen.

NO EVIDENCE OF HATE CRIME IN RABBI'S EXECUTION

The other unarmed victim of execution was a 60-year-old Rabbi walking in a placid Jewish Miami Beach neighborhood on his way to synagogue, assassinated by two Black youths carrying a loaded gun, while on foot, clad in brightly-colored shirts, proud to kill and walk away from the dead grandfather. Is there anything wrong with this picture, other than the assassinations of unarmed men? Is this merely a chance coincidence of tragedies, or is there a Divine message here?

The teen’s execution is the object of intense scrutiny by multiple law enforcement agencies and government officials, including the President of the United States, the FBI, the Missouri State Police, the Governor of Missouri, and the United States Department of Justice, operating under the banner of a “hate crime.”

On the other hand, the Rabbi’s execution is being investigated by the local police, claiming there is “no evidence of a hate crime.” The investigation has produced no suspects. The investigations of the entire string of crimes against Jews in North Miami Beach likewise remain unsolved. No FBI agents have been brought in to scour the confined area for clues. No Department of Justice officials are assisting the local police in locating and forcefully prosecuting the predators who first attacked Jewish cars on the Sabbath of July 26, writing “HAMAS” and “JEW” on the vehicles.

There is no concern about the federal prosecution of the next crime committed a day later in the dead of night, when the majestic front pillars of a Miami Beach synagogue were defaced with bright red swastikas and the word “HAMAS” once again appearing.

Without the heat turned to red hot pursuit of the criminals brazenly desecrating the synagogue, with their crimes being investigated solely as “criminal mischief” versus hate crimes, the felonies escalated days later to assassination of a Rabbi on a sunny Miami Beach street, just two blocks from the synagogue, while his grandchildren walked behind him as he was executed.

At the Rabbi’s memorial service the next day, August 10, the car of a mourner was marked with a now-familiar word, “HAMAS,” in the escalating stream of crimes against Jews.

Is there a climate of hate against Jews that is producing hate crimes in Miami Beach? Of course. To deny this premise is to obliterate the pattern of escalation of the crimes against property and person, the textual clues used like “HAMAS” and “JEW,” and the temporal contiguity of the crimes… July 26, July 27, August 9, and August 10.

In the brief span of two weeks, multiple Jewish-owned cars in proximate Jewish neighborhoods have been assailed with eggs, cream cheese, sharp objects, and anti-Semitic words; a stately synagogue was defaced with swastikas and “HAMAS” painted permanently on its pillars; two blocks down the same street, a father of six was assassinated in front of his grandchildren on their way to synagogue on the Jewish Sabbath; and the car of a mourner attending the memorial of the Jew massacred in broad daylight was marked with “HAMAS” upon it.

In conclusion, even if there were “no evidence of a hate crime” and serial hate crimes now being committed against Jews in the United States, in Miami Beach, perhaps there is a Divine message here – that Jews should be as protective and as prominent in defending the precious lives of our People as are other minorities victimized by hearts and fists bursting with hate. If we Jews do not heed this message, we bring upon ourselves the world’s disrespect for failing to descry the grave injustices that lead men to put other men into early graves because of their face or their faith.

Our voices should be a chorus against injustice to our own People … a chorus that rings around the world and all the way to Heaven.

Justin Bieber: Poster Boy for anti-Marijuana legalization in Florida?

The Democrats, and some Republicans, are pushing to legalize marijuana for medical use in Florida. These politicians are seeing more revenue from taxing this noxious weed and could care less about the human costs or social consequences. For you see, legalization for medical use is not the end game. The end game is legalization of marijuana, period. Just look at Colorado. It is a government and corporate cash cow but at what cost?

Florida Representative Katie Edwards (D-FL District 98) sent out an email quoting an article by the Sun Sentinel’s Susannah Bryan. The article states, “Two Florida representatives, Katie Edwards and Matt Gaetz, are taking steps to help families statewide gain access to a strain of marijuana that’s shown promise in treating children who suffer from seizures.” Representative Matt Gaetz is a Republican representing District 4. Gaetz is Chair of the House Criminal Justice Committee.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration:

Schedule I drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. Schedule I drugs are the most dangerous drugs of all the drug schedules with potentially severe psychological or physical dependence. Some examples of Schedule I drugs are: heroin, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), marijuana (cannabis), 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (ecstasy), methaqualone, and peyote.

Floridians must realize that what Edwards and Gaetz are really pushing: Drug addiction in minors. Perhaps Floridians need to look at what happened in Miami with Justin Bieber to see what the outcome of legalization will lead to.

The Sun Sentinel‘s Linda Trischitta and Mike Clary reported, “During the investigation, Mr. Bieber made statements that he had consumed some alcohol, had been smoking marijuana and consumed some prescription medication,” Martinez said.”

Trischitta and Clary note, “Bieber, 19, was charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest without violence and having an expired driver’s license from the state of Georgia, Miami Beach Police Detective Vivian Hernandez said. Bieber and a friend, singer Khalil Amir Sharieff, 19, of Calabasas, Cal., were in separate sports cars when they were stopped by police at 4:10 a.m. near Pine Tree Drive on Miami Beach. Sharieff was charged with DUI, police said.”

The Smoking Gun has more to the story. According to SMG, “Singer Justin Bieber–belligerent and apparently stoned on a mixture of beer, pot, and prescription drugs–cursed out a cop who had stopped his Lamborghini, demanding, ‘Why the fuck are you doing this?’ and ‘What the fuck did I do. Why did you stop me?’ according to a police arrest report.” Oh, by the way this is not Bieber’s first run in with using drugs and smoking weed. Here is another Bieber possession of weed story in California.

Marshall Frank, a retired South Florida police officer, writes in his column “Marijuana is a Dangerous Drug: Let Children Know the Truth“:

In a nutshell, here are the main reasons marijuana is harmful.

  • It impairs judgment for driving that cannot be detected like alcohol.
  • The National Institute on Drug Abuse cites long term use deters IQ, especially when adolescents begin using in the teen years.
  • Regular use causes lethargy, lack of ambition and memory problems.
  • Long term use is linked to mental problems, such as paranoia and schizophrenia.
  • Marijuana is addictive to people who have a predisposition to addictions

Casual marijuana is still illegal in 48 states, which results in the arrests of nearly one million people a year, giving them criminal records that affect their lives.

Gateway drug? Some say yes, some no. Here’s the truth: If you’re prone to enjoying drugs, marijuana will likely be your first, but not your last.

Perhaps Morgan & Morgan, the Tampa law firm pushing for the legalization of marijuana for medical use will hire Justin to be their spokesperson?
