New York City: Muslim cleric accused of groping 10-year-old girl in Queens mosque

Where did Tajul Islam get the idea that a ten-year-old girl would be a suitable sexual partner? Might it have been from his prophet?

There is abundant justification for child marriage in Islamic law, as it is in accord with Muhammad’s example, so these clerics can’t possibly find anything wrong with the practice. Those who wave away the threat of Sharia as “bigotry” and “racism” never seem to care about its victims, such as the untold numbers of young girls who have been victimized by having to become brides.

Islamic tradition records that Muhammad consummated his marriage with (i.e., raped) Aisha when she was nine, and the resultant fact that child marriage and the sexualization of children are taken for granted in wide swaths of the Islamic world.

“The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)” (Bukhari 7.62.88).

Another tradition has Aisha herself recount the scene:

The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became all right, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, “Best wishes and Allah’s Blessing and a good luck.” Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah’s Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age. (Bukhari 5.58.234).

Muhammad was at this time fifty-four years old. Nowadays in the West there are elaborate efforts to deny all this. An Islamic scholar/apologist named Joshua Little has constructed an elaborate argument from close study of the chains of transmitters (isnads) of various traditions about Aisha, claiming that those traditions, despite appearing in Sahih Bukhari, the hadith collection Muslims consider most reliable, are actually inauthentic. Little’s argument, however, is absurd and self-contradictory. He acknowledges that the hadiths are late and unreliable from a historical standpoint, and even admits that the chains of transmitters, like the stories themselves, were freely forged. Then he bases his whole argument for the traditions being inauthentic even on Islamic grounds on the basis of the isnads that he just admitted could be forged. He claims to be able to determine the age of various traditions by how they were forged, but here is argument is so conjectural and subjective as to be essentially worthless.

Little is also a standard-issue lemming academic. He denounces people he calls “Islamophobes” for making much of Muhammad’s marriage to Aisha. He ignores the primary reason why anyone cares about this: not because, as he claims, “Islamophobes” contend that Muhammad’s example forces Muslims to condone child marriage, but because all too many Islamic authorities do condone child marriage. In April 2011, the Bangladesh Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini declared that those trying to pass a law banning child marriage in that country were putting Muhammad in a bad light: “Banning child marriage will cause challenging the marriage of the holy prophet of Islam, [putting] the moral character of the prophet into controversy and challenge.” He added a threat: “Islam permits child marriage and it will not be tolerated if any ruler will ever try to touch this issue in the name of giving more rights to women.” The Mufti said that 200,000 jihadists were ready to sacrifice their lives for any law restricting child marriage.

Turkey’s directorate of religious affairs (Diyanet) said in January 2018 that under Islamic law, girls as young as nine can marry.

“There is no minimum marriage age for either men or women in Islamic law. The law in many countries permits girls to marry only from the age of 18. This is arbitrary legislation, not Islamic law.” — Dr. Abd Al-Hamid Al-‘Ubeidi, Iraqi expert on Islamic law

There is no minimum age for marriage and that girls can be married “even if they are in the cradle.” — Dr. Salih bin Fawzan, prominent cleric and member of Saudi Arabia’s highest religious council

“Islam does not forbid marriage of young children.” — Pakistan’s Council of Islamic Ideology

“Religious leader accused of groping 10-year-old girl in Queens mosque: DA,” by Mira Wassef, PIX11, April 30, 2026:

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — A religious leader is accused of repeatedly groping a 10-year-old girl in a Queens mosque, and police suspect there may be more victims, authorities said Thursday.

Tajul Islam, 55, was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing the girl multiple times inside the Masjid Bilal mosque at 121-03 Sutphin Blvd. in Jamaica from April 21 to April 27, according to the criminal complaint.

Islam is accused of touching the girl’s chest and inner thighs on four separate occasions, prosecutors said.

The Queens Child Abuse Squad apprehended the suspect on Monday after the victim reported the incident, according to the NYPD.

Islam was charged with sexual abuse, forcible touching, and endangering the welfare of a child, police said. He had no prior arrests….

Police believe there may be more victims and are asking the public for help with the investigation.

Time for Some Green Card-Holding Muslim Leaders to be Deported

In an earlier article, I wrote about a report I had completed looking at statements coming from various leaders in the Muslim American community that were hostile toward Jews and Christians, the United States and Israel, and supportive of terrorists and terrorist organizations.[1]  In this article I am focusing on particular statements made by seven of the individuals mentioned in that report. I have been able to verify that six of those seven were born outside the United States[2]; I have seen no evidence that any of the seven are American citizens:

  • Ayman Aishat (a Jordanian citizen[3])
  • Sheikh Abdullah Alhajj
  • Imam Amro Elaswalli (born in Egypt[4])
  • Imam Sheikh Mongy El Quesny (born in Egypt[5])
  • Imam Yassir Fazaga (born in Eritrea[6])
  • Imam Alhajie Jallow (born in Gambia[7])
  • Dr. Fadi Kablawi (born in Jordan[8])

Recently we have seen that statements in support of terrorists and terrorist organizations can have consequences when it comes to individuals who are in the United States by virtue of having a visa or a Permanent Residence Card (green card); such individuals can be deported.  As Secretary of State Marco Rubio said of such individuals,

…if you are in this country, to promote Hamas, to promote terrorist organizations…We never would have let you in if we had known that and now that we know it, you’re going to leave.[9]

With regard to a matter involving support for the terrorist group Hezbollah, a Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman stated,

“A visa is a privilege not a right,” the spokeswoman, Tricia McLaughlin, said in a statement to The New York Times. “Glorifying and supporting terrorists who kill Americans is grounds for visa issuance to be denied. This is common-sense security.”[10]

As we can see in the statements arranged alphabetically by speaker in the latter part of this article, five of the above individuals have expressed support for terrorists: Aishat, Alhajj, Fazaga, Jallow, and Kablawi.

There is another section of federal law that allows for the deportation of visa or green card holders: 8 USC 1227 (4)(C)(i).  This section states:

An alien whose presence or activities in the United States the Secretary of State has reasonable ground to believe would have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States is deportable.

This was the basis for the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, the leader of the pro-Hamas demonstrations at Columbia University, who was arrested for allegedly circulating “pro-Hamas propaganda flyers.”[11]

So how does this pertain to our seven individuals?  Among them, five of those individuals (Aishat, Elaswalli, El Quesny, Jallow, and Kablawi) have called for the killing of Jews/Israelis, Christians (Crusaders), and Arab and Muslim rulers.  In terms of our foreign policy, how could it not have an adverse effect on our relations with the people of Israel and Arab leaders when we passively allow certain leaders in the Muslim American community to call for their killing? And how can we discuss human rights with other nations when we passively allow certain leaders in the Muslim American community to call for the killing of certain groups of people?

It is time to ask our federal officials when the deportation of certain green-card holding leaders in the Muslim American community will begin.

Statements

Ayman Aishat

On May 3, 2024, Ayman Aishat, Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Director of Mosque Engagement, live streamed a Friday Sermon on the YouTube channel of Masjid Hawthorne, in Hawthorne, CA.  In this sermon, he called for Allah to annihilate the “plundering Zionists” and support Hamas:

For us to understand the current circumstances, we don’t have to go thousands of years back. Just go [back] a hundred years ago, and see what happened when the Zionist movement went ahead and wanted to get a small piece of land in the heart of the Muslim nation in Palestine…

Oh Allah, annihilate the plundering Zionist aggressors. Oh Allah, annihilate them and drive them out of Gaza defeated. Oh Allah, support our brothers in Gaza, stand by them and accept their martyrs, support them against our enemies, Your enemies, the enemies of Islam. Oh Allah, we can see the glad tidings of victory. Oh Allah, we ask that You allow us to pray in the Al-Aqsa Mosque when it is liberated from these criminals.

On January 12, 2024, Ayman Aishat delivered a Friday Sermon at a mosque in Harrisburg, PA.  In this sermon, Aishat expressed support for Hamas and called for the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem to be liberated “from the plundering Zionist aggressors”:

Oh Allah, grant us victory over our enemies, Your enemies, the enemies of Islam, for they are no match for You. Oh Allah, stand by our family, our brothers, the oppressed Muslims in Palestine. Oh Allah, stand by them in Gaza, and grant them your support. Annihilate their enemies, our enemies, the enemies of Islam, and those who are hostile towards Islam and the Muslims, wherever they are. Oh Allah, liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the plundering Zionist aggressors, and allow us to pray there before we die.

Sheikh Abdullah Alhajj

On August 9, 2024, Sheikh Abdullah Alhajj gave a Friday Sermon in Highland, IN.  In this sermon, he praised Ismail Haniyeh, a leader of Hamas who was killed on July 31, 2024 :

Allah be praised, we had a big hit, a painful strike last week, when the mujahid Sheikh Ismail Haniyeh was attacked or slaughtered or… Huh… Assassinated… He was assassinated by the enemies of Islam in a Muslim country. And he was a doctor. He was a mujahid since he was a child. When you look at some of his videos when he was like 10-12 years old, Someone asked him: ‘What do you want to be?’ He said: ‘I want to be a martyr’…

Palestine has been and is still and will continue to bring and to give birth to martyrs for the sake of Allah, to defend Islam and the Muslims, and the holy sites of the Muslims…When they assassinated him, it was a big hit, it hurt so much, and the entire world felt that, and thousands of mosques prayed for him, and we continue to supplicate to Allah: May Allah accept him as a martyr. Yet Palestine will continue to bring and feed… and to replace martyr after martyr. Allah willing. This is the fight that Allah told us would continue.

Imam Amro Elaswalli

On October 13, 2023, Imam Amro Elaswalli gave a Friday Sermon at the Muslim Association of Greater Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.  In this sermon, he referred to the hadith about Muslims killing Jews who are hiding behind trees and rocks[12] and called on Allah to “annihilate the Israelis”:

… We always have hope, the Prophet gave us the promise that is in an Al-Bukhari [Hadith collection] that there will be a day – and the Day of Judgment will never come until that day comes – when the Muslims will fight against the combatant Jews, and they will hide behind trees and rocks, and on that day the trees and rocks will speak and say: ‘Oh, Muslims, there is a combatant[[13]] Jew behind me, come and kill him’… Oh Allah, grant victory to our oppressed brothers in Palestine. Oh Allah, destroy their enemies, the enemies of Islam. Oh Allah, annihilate the Israelis, remove them from the land of Your Prophet. Oh Allah, remove them from the land of Your Prophet’s Night Journey. Oh Allah, purify the Al-Aqsa Mosque from their filth. 

Imam Sheikh Mongy El Quesny

On November 10, 2023, Imam Sheikh Mongy El Quesny gave a Friday Sermon at the Northwest Indiana Islamic Center in Crown Point, IN.  In this sermon, he praised the actions of Hamas, and he called for Allah to “bring annihilation upon the plundering and criminal Zionists, the hateful Crusader [Christian] aggressors…”:

 What is happening to Gaza is a victory. People think that victory is [when] you defeat your enemy – no…Victory is when people stand firm, and adhere firmly to what they believe and they die for that…

We have here in the United States sending special forces and special agents, and they are the ones telling the Israelis what to do, because they know that the Israeli army is the most cowardly army on the planet. With all these weapons and this technology, they run away from young men, who are fighting with sneakers on their feet, AK-47s in their hands, nothing else, but they run like rats…They have no mercy, they know what happened to their ancestors. They keep bugging us about six million Jewish people burned in the Holocaust. What are you doing to the Palestinians? What are you doing? That is what Allah said: ‘Their heart became hardened’…Oh Allah, bring annihilation upon Your enemies, their enemies, and our enemies. Oh Allah, count them, kill them one by one, and do not leave a single one of them alive. Oh Allah, bring annihilation upon the plundering and criminal Zionists, the hateful Crusader aggressors, and the treacherous Arab and Muslim rulers. Oh Allah, demonstrate upon them the wonders of Your might. Oh Allah, seize them with a crushing grip.

On December 8, 2023, Imam Sheikh Mongy El Quesny gave a Friday Sermon at the Northwest Indiana Islamic Center in Crown Point, IN.  In this sermon, he asked Allah for victory for Hamas and called for Allah to “bring annihilation upon the aggressor Zionists, the criminal and spiteful Crusaders, and the treacherous Arab and Muslim rulers”:

America is the one fighting Palestinians, not Israel. As one Israeli scholar said, Israel is not a state—it is a project. Israel is a project of all those Christians. The Crusaders, the West, they failed. So they are using all of this, preparing for the last war [Armageddon], for the return of Jesus. So Israel is a project, it is not a state…We ask Allah for a speedy and perfect victory for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. This is our central issue—Palestine and Jerusalem, that is our main issue…Oh, Allah, bring annihilation upon the aggressor Zionists, the criminal and spiteful Crusaders, and the treacherous Arab and Muslim rulers. Oh, Allah, count them, kill them one by one, do not leave a single one alive.

Imam Yassir Fazaga

On November 1, 2024, Imam Yassir Fazaga gave a Friday Sermon at the Memphis Islamic Center in Tennessee.  In this sermon, Fazaga lauded Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas who was killed on October 16, 2024:

In Gaza, we just saw one of the beautiful – if not the most beautiful – Gazan leaders. We have seen these people sell their own selves for the sake of their people to please Allah. May Allah have mercy on his soul, oh, Lord of the Universe. You know, this idea of living like a man and dying like a man… And this man has demonstrated what it means to die honorably, and that it is to live my life fighting you, and the very last action in my life was an act of rebellion. Do you know how many people nowadays look at somebody like [Yahya] Sinwar and they say that man is a legend. The man is a hero, the man is brave – he not only talked the talk, but walked the walk.

Imam Alhajie Jallow

On October 13, 2023, Imam Alhajie Jallow gave a Friday Sermon at the Madinah Community Center in Madison, WI.  In this sermon, Jallow praised the Hamas fighters and said that Muslims would kill all the Jews:

Our brothers in Gaza are heroes! By Allah, they are warriors, heroes, they are men, just like the Companions. They do not fear death…

Oh Jews, you unjust, criminal, corrupt oppressors – stop! You will all most definitely be killed. The Jews, the aggressors, the evil… You describe them, what they do.  By Allah, all of them will be killed by Muslims. They all will be executed by Muslims. They will all be killed, this is a divine promise that will inevitably be fulfilled. This is a promise from Allah and it is going to happen. They will all be killed. They will all be killed, and on that day, the believers will rejoice in Allah’s victory.

Dr. Fadi Kablawi

On November 24, 2023, Dr. Fadi Kablawi gave a lecture at Masjid As Sunna An Nabawiyyah in North Miami, FL.  In this lecture (at 28:23), he expressed support for Hamas, called for Allah to support Hamas against the “tyrannical Jews,” and called for Allah to annihilate the Zionists:

My major warning to myself and to everybody is we go back to prior of October 7th…that we go back to what happened before October 7th to think that we can trust these people, to think that these people will not do it again. To think that these people are going to leave our land. To think that these people are not oppressive…We, as Muslims, need to keep our mind and our eyes toward the prize…From the river to the sea. From the river to the sea…[Following statements translated from Arabic by MEMRI:] Oh Allah, support our brothers in Palestine against the tyrannical Jews. Oh Allah, support our brothers in Gaza against the tyrannical Jews. Oh Allah, bring annihilation upon the Zionists, for they are not match for you. Oh Allah, bring annihilation upon them, for they are not match for you. Oh Allah, shake the ground under their feet. Oh Allah, shatter their unity, disperse their gathering, and make their hearts quake.

On March 8, 2024, Dr. Fadi Kablawi spoke at the Masjid As Sunna An Nabawiyyah in North Miami, FL.  During this talk (at 30:24), he accused the “Nazi Zionists” of murdering over 30,000 people, supported by the “Zionist regime in Washington.”  He called for Allah to support the mujahideen[14] and annihilate the “accursed Zionists”:

What happens in Gaza, I promise you, gonna propagate…Over 30,000 people already murdered by Nazi Zionists supported by Zionist regime in Washington. All Zionist Nazis. There is no difference between them and Hitler or anybody else who behaved like that…No difference between Republicans and Democrats. They’re all same idea [unintelligible] Satan. That’s all what rules them…[Following statements translated from Arabic by MEMRI:] Oh Allah, support their mujahideen. Oh Allah, guide their shooting. Oh Allah, support them with your soldiers. Oh Allah, bring annihilation upon the enemies of Islam. Oh Allah, bring annihilation upon the accursed Zionists. Oh Allah, curse them and then curse them some more…Oh Allah, bring annihilation upon the Zionists, the hypocrites, and the enemies of Islam…Oh Allah, support our mujahideen.

On April 26, 2024, Dr. Fadi Kablawi gave a Friday Sermon at the Masjid As Sunna An Nabawiyyah in North Miami, FL.  In this sermon (at 26:10), he accused the Israeli army of harvesting human organs, and called for Allah to “support our oppressed brothers in Palestine” and “annihilate the tyrannical Jews”:

[Referring to Israel’s army] The most immoral army, Nazis, worse than Nazis, and I apologized to Nazis last week, because these people have proven to be worse than the Nazis…They steal the skin of the Palestinians. Not enough they stole their land, now they steal their skins. Organs missing, from children, from adults, organs are missing. Go and find who is behind organ trading in this country or in this world. Go ask the Haitians, when they had the earthquake, what happened there with these Israeli organizations going under medical help…The guy will come limping into their tents for treatment. He will walk out, he will be carried out dead, organs missing. All that is because there is no God for these people. All that because these people look at you as nothing but a mistake. Or the best, you were created for their service. That’s what they believe, that’s what they say…[Following statements translated from Arabic by MEMRI:] Oh Allah, support our oppressed brothers in Palestine. Oh Allah, annihilate the tyrannical Jews. Oh Allah, annihilate them for they are no match for you. Oh Allah, annihilate the brothers of apes and pigs…Oh Allah, cut off their seed. Oh Allah, break up their fellowship. Oh Allah, disperse them and render them asunder.

[12]         Muhammad taught that the end times would come when Muslims fight against and kill the Jews.  During that battle, even the rocks and trees would call out if a Jew was hiding behind them:

Abu Huraira reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) had said: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them will [sic] the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

On another occasion Muhammad just referred to Jews hiding behind the stones:

Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah’s Messenger said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight against the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say, ‘O Muslim!  There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.’”

[13]         In neither of the authoritative hadiths above is the word “combatant” used to describe the Jew.

[14]         Mujahideen are Fighters in the Cause of Allah (Jihad).  They are promised Paradise if they become martyrs by dying while fighting in that Cause.

Muhammad stressed the importance of martyrdom and stated that martyrs would be admitted to Paradise:

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet said, “Allah assigns for a person who participates in (holy battles) in Allah’s Cause and nothing causes him to do so except belief in Allah and in His Messengers, that he will be recompensed by Allah either with a reward, or booty (if he survives) or will be admitted to Paradise (if he is killed in the battle as a martyr).”  The Prophet added: “Had I not found it difficult for my followers, then I would not remain behind any Sariya (an army-unit) going for Jihad and I would have loved to be martyred in Allah’s Cause and then made alive, and then martyred and then made alive, and then again martyred in His Cause.”

Kansas City: Imam prays ‘Annihilate the criminal Zionists, O Allah, count them, kill them one by one’

Tarife refers to this Qur’an passage: “You are the best of people that has been raised up for mankind. You command what is right and forbid what is wrong, and you believe in Allah.” (Qur’an 3:110)

Note also that he prays: “Oh, Allah, annihilate the criminal Zionists – those of whom are Zionists and those who are not.” This apparently means that he wants Allah to annihilate the leftist Jews who are not Zionists along with the Zionists.

In late November, a Muslim entered a Montreal Jewish business and screamed “We’re gonna kill you one by one.”

Just weeks ago, the Palestinian Authority Supreme Shari’ah Court Director Alaa Dweikat prayed: “Strike the aggressive Zionists. O Allah, kill them one by one and count them one by one, and do not leave [even] one.”

In August 2024 came this report: ‘Palestinian’ jihadis heed Sharia judge’s call regarding the Jews, to ‘kill them one by one’

In Louisiana in June 2024, an imam prayed: “Oh Allah, annihilate the Jews and the Chris…Oh Allah, count them, kill them one by one.”

In Vienna in February 2024, a Muslim cleric prayed for the Jews, “O Allah, kill them all and leave none of them alive.”

In Montreal in late October 2023, a Muslim cleric called on Allah to “kill the enemies of the people of Gaza and to spare none of them.”

In Berlin in July 2014, an imam prayed: “Oh Allah, destroy the Zionist Jews…Count them and kill them to the very last one…Make them suffer terribly.”

A Quebec imam prayed in 2014: “O Allah, destroy the accursed Jews…O Allah, kill them one by one.”

And in Australia in July 2013: “Oh Allah, count the Buddhists and the Hindus one by one. Oh Allah, count them and kill them to the very last one.”

Examples of this kind could be multiplied endlessly. What other religion has common and frequently repeated prayers calling upon the deity to kill the perceived enemies of the faithful, one by one?

In his November 22, 2024 Friday sermon at the Kansas City Islamic Center, Muhammad Tarife said that the Islamic nation is the “best nation” and that it was brought to the world in order to encourage others to do good. He supplicated: “Oh Allah, annihilate the criminal Zionists, […] kill them one by one, and do not spare a single one of them […] allow us to torment them with our own hands, […] and heal the hearts of the believers.” The sermon was uploaded to the YouTube channel of the Kansas City Islamic Center, where in 2023, Dr. Mohamed Kohia, Professor of Physical Therapy at Rockhurst University, referred to the October 7 attack as a “miracle.”

Muhammad Tarife: “My dear respected brothers, know that you were created in this world in a nation that should be a leading nation. Allah says in the Quran: ‘You are a nation that was brought to people. You are the best nation. Why? Because you call for that which is good. You encourage others to do good.’

“Oh, Allah, annihilate the criminal Zionists – those of whom are Zionists and those who are not. Oh, Allah, count them, kill them one by one, and do not spare a single one of them, for they are no match for You. Oh, Allah, allow us torment them with our own hands, humiliate them, grant us victory over them, and heal the hearts of the believers.”

Islamic scholar in 2018: Muslims have the right to capture infidel women and use them as sex slaves

This is what we have seen with Hamas, as from Boko Haram and the Islamic State. It shouldn’t surprise anyone.

The Qur’an teaches that Infidel women can be lawfully taken for sexual use (cf. its allowance for a man to take “captives of the right hand,” 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30). The Qur’an says that a man may have sex with his wives and with these slave girls: “The believers must win through, those who humble themselves in their prayers; who avoid vain talk; who are active in deeds of charity; who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or the captives whom their right hands possess, for in their case they are free from blame.” (Qur’an 23:1-6)

The rape of captive women is also sanctioned in Islamic tradition:

Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa’id al Khadri (Allah be pleased with him): O Abu Sa’id, did you hear Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) mentioning al-’azl? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing ‘azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born. (Sahih Muslim 3371)

It is also in Islamic law: “When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman’s previous marriage is immediately annulled.” (Umdat al-Salik O9.13)

The Egyptian Sheikh Abu-Ishaq al-Huwayni declared in May 2011 that “we are in the era of jihad,” and that meant Muslims would take slaves. In a subsequent interview he elaborated:

Jihad is only between Muslims and infidels. Spoils, slaves, and prisoners are only to be taken in war between Muslims and infidels. Muslims in the past conquered, invaded, and took over countries. This is agreed to by all scholars—there is no disagreement on this from any of them, from the smallest to the largest, on the issue of taking spoils and prisoners. The prisoners and spoils are distributed among the fighters, which includes men, women, children, wealth, and so on.

When a slave market is erected, which is a market in which are sold slaves and sex-slaves, which are called in the Qur’an by the name milk al-yamin, “that which your right hands possess” [Koran 4:24]. This is a verse from the Qur’an which is still in force, and has not been abrogated. The milk al-yamin are the sex-slaves. You go to the market, look at the sex-slave, and buy her. She becomes like your wife, (but) she doesn’t need a (marriage) contract or a divorce like a free woman, nor does she need a wali. All scholars agree on this point—there is no disagreement from any of them. […] When I want a sex slave, I just go to the market and choose the woman I like and purchase her.

Around the same time, on May 25, 2011, a female Kuwaiti politician, Salwa al-Mutairi, also spoke out in favor of the Islamic practice of sexual slavery of non-Muslim women, emphasizing that the practice accorded with Islamic law and the parameters of Islamic morality.

A merchant told me that he would like to have a sex slave. He said he would not be negligent with her, and that Islam permitted this sort of thing. He was speaking the truth. I brought up [this man’s] situation to the muftis in Mecca. I told them that I had a question, since they were men who specialized in what was halal, and what was good, and who loved women. I said, “What is the law of sex slaves?”

The mufti said, “With the law of sex slaves, there must be a Muslim nation at war with a Christian nation, or a nation which is not of the religion, not of the religion of Islam. And there must be prisoners of war.”

“Is this forbidden by Islam?” I asked.

“Absolutely not. Sex slaves are not forbidden by Islam. On the contrary, sex slaves are under a different law than the free woman. The free woman must be completely covered except for her face and hands. But the sex slave can be naked from the waist up. She differs a lot from the free woman. While the free woman requires a marriage contract, the sex slave does not—she only needs to be purchased by her husband, and that’s it. Therefore the sex slave is different than the free woman.”

In January 2016, a female al-Azhar professor stated that Allah allowed Muslims to rape non-Muslim women in order to humiliate them.

“Senior Saudi Islamic Scholar Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan In 2018: According To Islamic Law, Muslims Have The Right To Take Captive Women As Concubines And Have Sex With Them Even If They Are Married To An Infidel – Archival,” MEMRI, February 22, 2018:

Senior Saudi Islamic scholar Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan said in a lecture posted on February 22, 2018 on Min Aqwal Al-Ulama on YouTube that Muslim men have the right to keep women as concubines and have sex with them. He explained, that while Islam forbids having sex with a married woman, if she is a war captive, she is in the possession of the Muslim and he is permitted to keep her as a concubine, because her marriage contract to an infidel is annulled.

Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan: “The Muslims captured women in the [630] Battle of Awtas.

[…]

“They took from the [infidels] money and women as booty. The Companions of the Prophet Muhammad became confused. It was customary for the owners of women captured at war to take them as concubines. They have the right to take them as concubines and have sex with them, by virtue of possessing them. The possession of a captured woman outweighs her marriage contract. It allows the master to have sex with the woman he owns. This is called concubinage.

“But the Prophet’s Companions were confused, because Allah has made married women haram, and these women had infidel husbands. So Allah sent down the verse ‘married women except those you possess.’ When a woman is taken captive, her marriage contract to her [infidel] husband is annulled. If she is taken captive, she becomes property of the Muslims, and the infidel’s marriage contract with her is annulled. She becomes the property of the Muslim, and he can take her as a concubine.”

In a Friday, May 19, 2023 sermon at the Islamic Center of Detroit, Michigan, Imam Imran Salha warned Muslims against forging alliances with pro-Palestine activists who endorse LGBTQ principles and who are “at war with Allah”, such as the Democratic Party. Salha also condemned Israel’s Jerusalem Day Flag March, in which the “sick disgusting Zionist regime – may Allah eradicate them,” took their “disgusting flags [and] entered the purified land of Al-Aqsa.” He warned the Islamic leaders and scholars “who have sold out on Palestine,” saying: “You will be dragged by the chains of Hellfire with the people that you want to make peace with.” Imam Salha was born in New Jersey and is of Palestinian origin. The sermon was posted on the YouTube channel of ICD – the Islamic Center of Detroit.

Imran Salha: “If somebody loves Palestine, but they don’t worship Allah, then I don’t want your activism for Palestine. What is your activism for Palestine going to help me, if you are at war with Allah? This is one of the mistakes that, unfortunately, here in America, we have made politically. We want to work for the sake of Palestine, but then shake hands with people who endorse things like the LGBTQ principles.

“So you will say that the Democrats will support the Palestinians, but they are at war with Allah. Do you think that someone who is at war with Allah will help you achieve freedom for Palestine?

“You know Paradise, you know Hell, you know the Day of Judgement, you know the Purgatory. You know that if you are patient, you have something to look forward to, whereas those [non-believers], the only thing they know about death is that they will become fertilizer for cows.

[…]

“There was the Flag March in Palestine, where the sick, disgusting Zionist regime – may Allah eradicate them from existence, say: ‘Amen’ – they took their disgusting flags, the flags of occupation and oppression, and entered into the purified land of Al-Aqsa, walking around as if they had a claim to that land.

[…]

“The most confused youth are the white-washed youth. You are not white. You are not European. You are an Arab. And you are… Be as [Arab] as they see you can possibly be.

“Do not try to appease the White Man. We have been stuck under the colonized way of thinking.

“Those who don’t want us to succeed, want us to erase [our identity], and all come to America, in the melting pot, and listen to Justin Bieber. No. We don’t need this, and we reject that. We have our culture and we have our things that we return to.

“And we say, inshallah, to those who have sold out on Palestine, whether they are a sheikh, a leader, or call themselves an [Islamic] scholar – you are a sell-out, nothing but a sell-out, you are a dishonorable human being, and there is a problem with your faith, and you will be inshallah dragged by the chains of Hellfire, with the people you want to make peace with.

Boston Mayor Appoints Former Head of Jihad Terror-linked Mosque as Her Deputy Chief of Staff

The Islamic Society of Boston was founded by al-Qaeda financier Abrurrahman Alamoudi and had the Hitler-admiring Jew-hater Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi on its Board. It has recommended (in accord with Qur’an 4:34) that men beat their wives. Convicted jihadis Tarek Mehanna and Aafia Siddiqui went there. So did Ahmad Abousamra, the Islamic State’s “social media guru.” Oh, and the Boston Marathon jihad bombers, the Tsarnaev brothers.

Ironically, Michelle Wu wouldn’t dream of appointing someone who had spoken critically of jihad violence and Sharia oppression as deputy chief of staff. But this is fine.

In May, Boston’s progressivist Mayor, Michelle Wu, appointed Yusufi Vali as her Deputy Chief of Staff. Vali is the former head of the Islamic Society of Boston (ISB), an institution once considered to be among the most radical mosques on the East Coast. Vali’s appointment appears to be yet another case of a graduate of Boston’s Islamist institutions finding a powerful foothold in Massachusetts politics.

Vali certainly has some explaining to do. He is a former trustee of the Boston branch of the Muslim American Society (MAS), one of America’s most notorious Islamist institutions and a designated terrorist organization in the United Arab Emirates.

In 2008, federal prosecutors wrote that “MAS was founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.” Speakers at MAS conference have often openly glorified terrorism. In 2019, the Philadelphia branch of MAS made national headlines after it ran an event in which children sang about torturing and beheading Jews.

MAS’s Boston branch oversaw the management of ISB’s flagship mosque for many years, where Vali became executive director. Before Vali’s time, early trustees of the ISB’s first mosque, over the river in Cambridge, included Yusuf Al Qaradawi, the infamously-extreme spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and admirer of Adolf Hitler; as well as Abdulrahman Alamoudi, an Al Qaeda fundraiser who was jailed in 2004 for conspiring with the Libyan regime to assassinate the Saudi Crown Prince….

“’Abdullah El Faisal has spent two decades inspiring the terrorists behind plots and attacks in London, New York, and onboard airplanes in flight,’ said NYPD Police Commissioner Dermot Shea in a statement….Faisal was previously convicted of similar charges in England for inciting murder and using inflammatory language ‘in furtherance of terrorist ideologies.’”

Why was he allowed into the United States after being convicted of jihad terror charges in Britain? Would keeping him out have been “Islamophobic”?

“Radical cleric held without bail in Manhattan for ‘trying to recruit NYPD cop,’” by Rebecca Rosenberg, New York Post, August 14, 2020:

A radical Islamic cleric was ordered held without bail in Manhattan on Friday — after encouraging a female undercover NYPD cop to carry out terror attacks, authorities said.

Shaikh Abdullah Faisal, 56, pleaded not guilty to five counts — including conspiracy as a crime of terrorism, soliciting or providing support for an act of terrorism and other raps….

The militant cleric — born Trevor William Forrest — allegedly communicated with a female undercover NYPD officer by e-mail, text and video chat to encourage her to join ISIS and carry out attacks abroad from 2015 to 2017….

A popular online figure, Faisal has overtly supported ISIS and the establishment of an Islamic caliphate through violent jihad.

In one of his online lectures, he declared, “The way forward is not the ballot. The way forward is the bullet,” according to the indictment….
