History Repeating — Be Aware!

History has a way of repeating itself. I believe we are living through such a moment, somewhat familiar and somewhat with new dimensions but clearly traceable from times past.

Hitler brought the church in Germany into alignment with Nazi Doctrine. Dietrick Bonehoffer called his fellow pastors to stand with him AGAINST the Nazi tyranny, and his call led to the great divide by and between the “confessing church” versus the socially acceptable church. Many pastors chose to sit on the side lines, comply with Nazi Doctrine that pushed The Government is God and therefore don’t resist. There were 18,000 Protestant Pastors in Germany at that time; 3,000 stood with Hitler, 12,000 stood silent and compliant, and only 3,000 stood to confess the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

“First, they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me.” — Martin Niemoller, The Confessing Church.

Cultural Marxism is in America and has infiltrated our schools, the media, entertainment and the church. Cultural Marxism states that traditional American culture and values are a severe form of oppression. Cultural Marxism is atheistic (not believing in God or His Word or any teachings related thereto). It is totally and aggressively opposed to Christianity and every form of teaching therein. Marxism is meant to destroy the church, the family unit, capitalism and a person’s right to own the fruits of his/her labor.

Marxism leads to totalitarianism — where only a small, select group has the power over all others. The small, closed group of Marxist leaders moving to collapse America are following the exact script Mao, Hitler, Stalin and every Marxist leader through present followed and imposed. One such element is the destruction of the family, replace the State for the family unit. “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness.” Isaiah 5:20.

Churches, schools, many businesses, restaurants, grocery stores were ruled “non-essential” and commanded to be closed during the weaponized Covid virus. Drug dispensaries were allowed to be open and unregulated. Funny, seductive, intrusive, shifting values, etc. all common with Marxism. Seductive, intrusive, shifting values, etc. all common with Marxism. The State is all important, all consuming, to be honored, obeyed, worshipped, not the individual or family. Freedom, no…conformity, yes! Individualism, no…uniformity, yes!

America is under direct assault from within by Marxist forces deeply imbedded in our various institutions. President Trump has spoken clearly on this matter, so has the Vice President and certain cabinet members. Former General Mike Flynn has been most clear on this assault to America. The assault on America by Marxist countries is sophisticated and multidimensional. Like I began this article, the Marxist assault is not restricted to the physical plain, and I pray the church will awaken to this truism and reality.

The wars being fought, the hatred being spewed, the dark dividing statements and charges, and the “political differences” shouted are not merely in the physical realm but stems from the diabolical darkness that feeds on the hatred and division whose groundwork has already been built. The darkness and hatred are finding resting places deep within welcoming hosts and then flowing out to hurt and divide, to bring pain and bitterness. I pray pastors awaken to a similar call that was given by Dietrick Bonehoeffer.

The Leftist-Islamist Alliance is Today’s Nazism

The much-discussed alliance between the “Red” (Leftist radicals) and the “Green” (Islamist radicals) is, at first glance, a strange partnership.

Seeing Mamdani the socialist surrounded by Islamists, or Rashida Tlaib embraced by Bernie Sanders and AOC would once have been unimaginable, yet today it is a reality.

The moral decay of the radical Left has been decades in the making. Under the banner of “woke,” it has championed assaults on everything humanity has long held sacred. Families, the distinction between men and women, education, and even the foundations of free thought have all been undermined. Tolerance—once a central virtue of modern society—has been twisted into a vice.

Woke “tolerance” is only for people who carry a long checklist of Woke beliefs.

For years, the Left was openly hostile to religion in all forms. Yet when it comes to Islam, it suddenly becomes subservient. This is no coincidence. Islamists openly state that their goal—by any means necessary—is world Islamic rule, echoing the ambitions once proclaimed by Communists before their ideology collapsed.

Islamists will lie, manipulate, indoctrinate, and exploit without hesitation to achieve their aims. And they have found the perfect partner in a radical Left that despises its own civilization so deeply that it is willing to embrace an ideology destined to destroy it.

Nowhere is this unholy alliance more visible than in their shared hatred of Israel and the Jewish people. For the Left, this hatred is the ultimate proof of its moral collapse. It is the final step in abandoning any pretense of defending freedom, truth, or human dignity.

This is not a partnership of equals. The Islamists are clear and unwavering in their objectives. The Left, consumed by self-loathing and resentment toward Western values, is merely a tool—one that will be discarded when it has served its purpose.

History has shown the danger of temporary alliances between fanatical movements. They always end in betrayal, destruction, and suffering. Those who cheer this “Red-Green” partnership today will be its victims tomorrow.

It is up to us—the good people of the world who love our civilization and are proud of its achievements—to stand together and protect what can still be saved from the twin threats of woke radicalism and Islamist extremism. The stakes are nothing less than the survival of the free world.

Prime Minister Netanyahu: ‘Campus Antisemitism Reminiscent of 1930s Germany’

“What’s happening in America’s college campuses is horrific.” — Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel.

Netanyahu: ‘Campus antisemitism reminiscent of 1930s Germany’

The Prime Minister condemned the antisemitic incidents and protests currently occurring on university campuses in the US and called on administrators to stop them.

By: Israel National News, Apr 24, 2024:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video in English on Wednesday in which he condemned the anti-Israel and antisemitic rallies currently being held in universities in the United States.

“What’s happening in America’s college campuses is horrific. Antisemitic mobs have taken over leading universities. They call for the annihilation of Israel. They attack Jewish students. They attack Jewish faculty. This is reminiscent of what happened in German universities in the 1930s. It’s unconscionable. It has to be stopped. It has to be condemned and condemned unequivocally. But that’s not what happened. The response of several university presidents was shameful,” the Prime Minister stated.

With this, he noted that “fortunately, state, local, and federal officials, many of them have responded differently but there has to be more. More has to be done. It has to be done not only because they attack Israel, that’s bad enough, not only because they want to kill Jews wherever they are, that’s bad enough, it’s also when you listen to them, it’s also because they say not only, ‘Death to Israel. Death to the Jews,” but “death to America.’ And this tells us that there is an antisemitic surge here that has terrible consequences.

“We see this exponential rise of antisemitism throughout America and throughout Western societies as Israel tries to defend itself against genocidal terrorists, genocidal terrorists who hide behind civilians. Yet it is Israel that is falsely accused of genocide, Israel that is falsely accused of starvation, and all sundry war crimes. It’s all one big libel. But that’s not new. We’ve seen in history that antisemitic attacks were always preceded by vilification and slander, lies that were cast against the Jewish people that are unbelievable yet people believed them.”

Netanyahu added: “Now, what is important now is for all of us, all of us who are interested and cherish our values and our civilization, to stand up together and to say enough is enough. We have to stop antisemitism because antisemitism is the canary in the coal mine. It always precedes larger conflagrations that engulf the entire world.

“So I ask all of you, Jews and non-Jews alike, who are concerned with our common future and our common values to do one thing: stand up, speak up, be counted. Stop antisemitism now,” he concluded.

Challenge to All Muslims

Islam can justifiably be condemned as a barbaric ideology that has energized and continues to energize crimes against humanity. Islam belongs to a raft of doctrines such as Nazism, Fascism, and Totalitarianism of various stripes that promotes hate and violence against others. Despicable principles of hatred and violence remain confined to their place under the “shameful” classification in libraries until people adopt them as their program of life. Hence, people are guilty of bringing to life the dogmas of savagery.

In the same way that ignorance of the law does not constitute a valid defense, not bothering to find out about the true nature of Islamic precepts and practices and blindly doing Islam’s bidding constitutes inexcusable wrongdoing. Muslims, therefore, are indictable for subscribing to the Quran and committing themselves to carry out its ruthless instructions at great harm to the non-subscribers.

A vast cadre of Islamic apologists, generally from the ranks of the well-pampered parasitic clergy, labor greatly at defending Islam and keeping the masses in servitude. In practice, these sheepdogs of Islam earn their very livelihood by devouring the sheep they herd.

The apologists cover a wide spectrum. On one extreme are the unrepentant and shameless bigots who adhere to and promote every provision of the Quran, the Hadith, and the Sunna. These robots pride themselves on being diehard, obedient, literal believers of Allah.

Then, those apologists do their best to walk a tightrope. They skillfully straddle a zone with one foot in the Islamic muck and the other out. These illusionists—the smoke and mirror artists—are masters of double-speak and are very difficult to pin down. Yet, they are most effective in their work. They manage, through their clever tactics of half truth-half lies, to keep the faithful in line and fool the gullible non-Muslims.

And then there are the sheep—the rank-and-file Muslims. They are indictable because they are the ones who keep Islam alive by feeding and supporting it. It is this rank that supplies the Islamic foot soldiers—those servants of the All Kind and All-Merciful Allah who do not have a grain of kindness or mercy in their dark hearts. These easily programmable robots detonate explosive vests not just to kill the kafirs, but to kill even other Muslims. They slaughter innocent kidnapped people as cheerily as they slash a lamb’s throat. With exhortation passages from the Quran pasted on the wall of their slaughterhouse, they shamelessly fire their Ketusha rockets, not at the military but directly at the civilian population.

Are all Muslims the leeching clergy or actively involved in terrorism and included in the blanket indictment, you ask?

The fact is that being a Muslim is a clear admission of wrongdoing, the extent of which depends on the degree of a person’s Muslim-ness. If he is only a Muslim who does not practice Islam, then he is, at the very least, guilty of hypocrisy. If he is somewhat of a Muslim by tithing, from time to time, following the ranting of the local mullah or imam, and swallowing whole the pronouncements of the high divines, then he is guilty of significantly contributing to the evildoings of Islam.

Lastly, there are those Muslims who simply lack the courage to leave Islam and exercise their gift of humanness. They are the pathetic crowd guilty of remaining in the fold of tyranny and withholding support from the forces of liberty and human dignity. Also, to use an old cliché, if a person is not part of the solution, he is part of the problem. Islam is indeed a huge problem.

Some Muslims have objected to my taking Islam to task and not addressing the atrocities of others, both in the past and in the present. I do not see myself as an ombudsman for mankind, commissioned by God or self-appointed. I am not egotistical enough to see myself as a universal arbiter of all wrongdoings. I, however, unreservedly condemn all genocides, religiously based or otherwise, and all wrongs visited upon any individual or people irrespective of time, place, and any other considerations.

My focus is Islam because I, my people, and my native country, Iran, have been victimized by a primitive alien ideology for far too long. Having witnessed first-hand the horrors and indignity that Islamofascism visits on people it subjugates, I have taken it upon myself to do my part in defeating this ideology of oppression, hate, and violence.

I enjoy and deeply cherish the liberty that America has generously afforded me, enabling me to raise a cry from the heart regarding the tragic plight of millions of Iranian victims—my compatriots who dare not speak against the wicked mullahs and their mercenaries.

I am the voice of tens of thousands of Iran’s best children, many of them literally children, who have been imprisoned, brutally tortured, shamelessly raped, and viciously slaughtered by Allah’s beasts presently ruling Iran.

The heartless religionists of Allah have plundered and continue to plunder the people’s vast oil income, fill their bottomless pockets with ill-begotten funds, and finance adventurism in Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, and anywhere and everywhere they find willing clientele.

In the meantime, over the past three decades of their Islam-authorized dastardly theocracy, they have driven masses of the Iranian people to abject poverty. They have created a culture of nihilism and despair that has spawned one of the world’s most drug-addicted societies and have compelled a great many women to sell their bodies in order to survive.

It is, so I find it both my sacred duty and inalienable right to indict Muslims as either criminals themselves or accessories to the crimes, seek justice for my people, and warn others of the dangers of Islamofascism in all its forms.

I challenge all Muslims to abandon the demonic cult of Muhammad and join forces of liberty and justice for free people with no turbaned masters or masters of any kind.

It is said that it is a crime to remain silent in the face of evil. Thus, I am speaking up and urging other good men and women to raise their resonant voices while they can before they are brutally silenced by the ever-creeping Islamofascism.

Joseph Goebbels’ Own Words Show He Loved Socialism and Saw It as ‘the Future’

Socialists will continue to argue that Nazism was not “real” socialism, but the Nazi propaganda despised capitalism and spoke like Karl Marx.

One of the comforts of growing older is knowing that some things will never change.

Sports fans will always argue over the designated hitter rule and over who was the best heavyweight boxer of all-time (Muhammad Ali). Movie fans will never agree which Godfather movie was better, the first or the second (the first.) And the trumpets will sound at the Second Coming before capitalists and socialists agree on whether the Nazis were “really socialists.”

The last item has always puzzled me, I confess, and not just because the word is right there in the name: National Socialism. If you read the speeches and private conversations of the Nazi hierarchy, it’s clear they loved socialism and despised individualism and capitalism.

In his new book Hitler’s National Socialism, the historian Rainer Zitelmann gives a penetrating look into the ideas that shaped men like Hitler and Goebbels. While it’s clear they saw their own brand of socialism as distinct from Marxism (more on that later), there is no question they saw socialism as the future and despised bourgeoisie capitalism.

Consider, for example, these quotes from Joseph Goebbels, the chief propagandist for the Nazi Party:

  1. “Socialism is the ideology of the future.” – Letter to Ernst Graf zu Reventlow as quoted in Goebbels: A Biography
  2. “The bourgeoisie has to yield to the working class … Whatever is about to fall should be pushed. We are all soldiers of the revolution. We want the workers’ victory over filthy lucre. That is socialism.” -quoted in Doctor Goebbels: His Life and Death
  3. “We are socialists, because we see in socialism, that means, in the fateful dependence of all folk comrades upon each other, the sole possibility for the preservation of our racial genetics and thus the re-conquest of our political freedom and for the rejuvenation of the German state. – “Why We Are Socialists?” Der Angriff (The Attack ), July 16, 1928
  4. “We are not a charitable institution but a Party of revolutionary socialists.” -Der Angriff editorial, May 27, 1929
  5. “Capitalism assumes unbearable forms at the moment when the personal purposes that it serves run contrary to the interest of the overall folk. It then proceeds from things and not from people. Money is then the axis around which everything revolves. It is the reverse with socialism. The socialist worldview begins with the folk and then goes over to things. Things are made subservient to the folk; the socialist puts the folk above everything, and things are only means to an end.” -”Capitalism,” Der Angriff, July 15, 1929
  6. “In 1918 there was only one task for the German socialist: to keep the weapons and defend German socialism.” -”Capitalism,” Der Angriff, July 15, 1929
  7. “To be a socialist means to let the ego serve the neighbour, to sacrifice the self for the whole. In its deepest sense socialism equals service.” – diary notes (1926)
  8. “The lines of German socialism are sharp, and our path is clear. We are against the political bourgeoisie, and for genuine nationalism! We are against Marxism, but for true socialism!” – Those Damn Nazis: Why Are We Socialists? (1932)
  9. “We are socialists because we see the social question as a matter of necessity and justice for the very existence of a state for our people, not a question of cheap pity or insulting sentimentality. The worker has a claim to a living standard that corresponds to what he produces.” – Those Damn Nazis: Why Are We Socialists? (1932)
  10. “England is a capitalist democracy. Germany is a socialist people’s state.” – “Englands Schuld” (the speech is not dated, but likely was given in 1939)
  11. “Because we are socialists we have felt the deepest blessings of the nation, and because we are nationalists we want to promote socialist justice in a new Germany.” – Die verfluchten Hakenkreuzler. Etwas zum Nachdenken (1932)
  12. “The sin of liberal thinking was to overlook socialism’s nation-building strengths, thereby allowing its energies to go in anti-national directions.” – Die verfluchten Hakenkreuzler. Etwas zum Nachdenken (1932)
  13. “To be a socialist is to submit the I to the thou; socialism is sacrificing the individual to the whole. Socialism is in its deepest sense service.” – as quoted in Escape from Freedom, Erich Fromm
  14. “We are a workers’ party because we see in the coming battle between finance and labor the beginning and the end of the structure of the twentieth century. We are on the side of labor and against finance. . . The value of labor under socialism will be determined by its value to the state, to the whole community.”-Those Damn Nazis: Why Are We Socialists? (1932)

These quotes represent just a smattering of Goebbels’ views on and conception of socialism. One can see that in many ways the Nazi spoke much like Karl Marx.

Phrases like “we are a workers’ party,” “the worker has a claim to a living standard that corresponds to what he produces,” “money…is the reverse with socialism,” and “we are against the political bourgeoisie” could easily be plucked from Marx’s own speeches and writings—yet it’s clear Goebbels despised Marx and saw his brand of “national socialism” as distinct from Marxism.

So what sets National Socialism apart from Marxism? There are two primary differences.

The first is that Hitler and Goebbels fused their socialism with race and German nationalism, rejecting the international ethos of Marxism—workers of the world unite!—for a more practical one that emphasized Germany’s Völkischen movement.

This was a clever tactic by the Nazis. As the Nobel Prize-winning economist F.A. Hayek pointed out, it made socialism more palatable to many Germans who were unable to see Nazism for what it truly was.

“The supreme tragedy is still not seen that in Germany it was largely people of good will who, by their socialist policies, prepared the way for the forces which stand for everything they detest,” Hayek wrote in The Road to Serfdom (1944). “Few recognize that the rise of fascism…was not a reaction against the socialist trends of the preceding period but a necessary outcome of those tendencies.”

The second difference is that National Socialists were less concerned with directly controlling the means of production.

In his 1940 book German Economy, 1870-1940, Gustav Stolper, an Austrian-German economist and journalist, explained that though National Socialism was anti-capitalist from the beginning, it was also in direct competition with Marxism following World War I. Because of this, National Socialists determined to “woo the masses” from three distinct angles.

“The first angle was the moral principle, the second the financial system, the third the issue of ownership. The moral principle was ‘the commonwealth before self-interest.’ The financial promise was ‘breaking the bondage of interest slavery’. The industrial program was ‘nationalization of all big incorporated business [trusts]’. By accepting the principle ‘the commonwealth before self-interest,’ National Socialism simply emphasizes its antagonism to the spirit of a competitive society as represented supposedly by democratic capitalism . . . But to the Nazis this principle means also the complete subordination of the individual to the exigencies of the state. And in this sense National Socialism is unquestionably a Socialist system . . .”

Stolper, who fled from Germany to the United States after Hitler’s rise to power, noted that the Nazis never initiated a widespread nationalization of industry, but he explained that in some ways this was a distinction without a difference.

“The socialization of the entire German productive machinery, both agricultural and industrial, was achieved by methods other than expropriation, to a much larger extent and on an immeasurably more comprehensive scale than the authors of the party program in 1920 probably ever imagined. In fact, not only the big trusts were gradually but rapidly subjected to government control in Germany, but so was every sort of economic activity, leaving not much more than the title of private ownership.”

In his 1939 book The Vampire Economy: Doing Business Under Fascism, Guenter Reimann reached a similar conclusion, the economic historian Richard Ebeling notes.

“…while most of the means of production had not been nationalized, they had nonetheless been politicized and collectivized under an intricate web of Nazi planning targets, price and wage regulations, production rules and quotas, and strict limits and restraints on the action and decisions of those who remained; nominally, the owners of private enterprises throughout the country. Every German businessman knew that his conduct was prescribed and positioned within the wider planning goals of the National Socialist regime.”

The historical record is clear: European fascism was simply a different shade of socialism, which helps explain, as Hayek noted, why so many fascists were “former” socialists—”from Mussolini down (and including Laval and Quisling).”

Like Marx, the Nazis loathed capitalism and saw the individual will and individual rights as subordinate to the interests of the state. It should come as little surprise that these different shades of socialism achieved such similar results: poverty and misery.

Socialists will continue to argue that Nazism was not “real” socialism, but the words of the infamous Nazi propaganda minister suggest otherwise.
