Radical Left-Wing Nonprofits Out Themselves Following Trump’s Executive Crackdown

Hundreds of far-left nonprofits signed an open letter condemning President Donald Trump’s September memo cracking down on domestic terrorism and organized political violence.

“Political violence is unacceptable. But efforts by the president of the United States to defund, discredit, and dismantle nonprofit groups he simply disagrees with are reprehensible and dangerous,” the letter stated.

Trump’s Sept. 25 National Security Presidential Memorandum (NSPM-7) establishes a “national strategy to investigate and disrupt networks, entities, and organizations that foment political violence.”

The memo empowers the National Joint Terrorism Task Force to “investigate potential federal crimes relating to acts of recruiting or radicalizing persons for the purpose of: political violence, terrorism, or conspiracy against rights; or the violent deprivation of any citizen’s rights.”

A “pattern of violent and terroristic activities” is hidden under the self-described commitment to “anti-fascism,” and that such language is used to “portray foundational American principles as ‘fascist’ to justify and encourage acts of violent revolution,” the memo asserted.

The directive specifically pointed to “organized campaigns,” and the alleged networks behind political violence and domestic terrorism.

“Common threads animating this violent conduct include anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity; support for the overthrow of the United States Government; extremism on migration, race, and gender; and hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family, religion, and morality,” the memo continued.

Trump designated Antifa as a terrorist organization in September.

While the memo sparked backlash on the left, the directive does not create new laws and states it will be “implemented consistent with applicable law.”

Some of the groups that signed the letter opposing Trump’s directive promoted anti-Israel causes, supported riots across the country or advocated for the mutilation of children through “gender affirming care.”

Several chapters with the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) signed the letter slamming Trump’s memo. CAIR’s Executive Director, Nihad Awad, reportedly said he was “happy to see” Hamas attack Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) signed the letter, and its co-founder Hatem Bazian also founded Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP) and is a professor at UC Berkeley.

AMP allegedly admitted to funding the anti-Zionist group Jewish Voice for Peace, according to a report from the Institute for the Study of Global Anti-Semitism and Policy. Jewish Voice for Peace was involved in the occupation of the U.S. Capitol building in 2023.

AMP was held in civil contempt Monday by the Richmond City Circuit Court for allegedly refusing to comply with investigations into accusations “that the organization may have used solicited funds for impermissible purposes.”

The Daily Caller reached out to AMP but has not heard back as of publication.

The Non-Government Organization (NGO) Monitor found that the Arab Resource & Organizing Center (AROC), another signatory of the letter, features a quote on its website from the former spokesperson of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine — a U.S. designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) — and spread similar propaganda to the youth arm of the organization.

Other organizations listed are focused on domestic issues, specifically opposing law enforcement.

The Center for Policing Equity co-signed another letter condemning systemic “state-sanctioned violence” of “brutality and fatality upon Black people since our nation’s founding” during the Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests of 2020.

The Sunrise Movement, another signatory of the letter opposing Trump, is a youth movement whose “demands” include “[abolishing] the police,” according to its website. The group also supported the Antifa-tied Stop Cop City/Defend the Atlanta Forest coalition, according to a Capital Research Center report.

A statement from the Black Alliance for Just Immigration condemned Trump’s mass deportation operation targeting illegal aliens as “violent ICE raids terrorizing communities” across the country. It also said U.S. Customs and Border Protection has a “history of using racist law enforcement methods.”

Trump’s memo cited recent anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles, California, and Portland, Oregon, as justification for the directive, stating there has been over a “1,000 percent increase in attacks on [ICE] officers” since the beginning of Trump’s second administration.

Other signatories are advocating for sex changes for minors amid Trump’s federal crackdown on those procedures.

The President of the Funders for LGBTQ Issues, which has an “Out in the South” initiative, co-wrote a 2024 article lamenting legislation “targeting health care access” in Grant Makers in Health.

The article pointed to the Campaign for Southern Equality’s Trans Youth Emergency Project (TYEP) as a positive example, noting they provide “personalized support and emergency grants to transgender youth and their families” to support “clinic visits and travel costs.”

Another group, the Alliance for TransYouth Rights, states on its website that it is “fighting for our children’s right to equal access and equal treatment.” The group co-sponsored a California state bill they called “Affirming a Minor’s Gender Identity,” according to the website.

The alleged assassin of Charlie Kirk, Tyler Robinson, has a boyfriend who identifies as a transgender woman. Trump’s national security memo specifically pointed to Kirk’s murder, and how his alleged killer wrote phrasings like “hey fascist! CATCH!” on bullet casings, according to Utah officials.

Other organizations included in the signatures are CodePink, which reportedly has links to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and ClimateVoice, a project of Tides Center.

The Tides Center has funded far-left organizations across the country, including CodePink and Jewish Voice for Peace.

“The United States requires a national strategy to investigate and disrupt networks, entities, and organizations that foment political violence so that law enforcement can intervene in criminal conspiracies before they result in violent political acts,” Trump’s September memo stated.

Left-Wing Financial Apparatus Pumped Millions Into Organization Hosting Terrorist Front Group

The Alliance for Global Justice (AGJ), which serves as the fiscal sponsor for a group the U.S. government recently determined is an arm of a Palestinian terrorist organization, has received nearly $20 million from liberal American philanthropies since 2020.

Left-of-center nonprofits like the Soros family’s Open Society Foundations and charities with ties to the Democratic Party have poured millions into AGJ in recent years, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation analysis of tax documents. Samidoun, which AGJ fiscally sponsors, took charitable contributions from donors and routed them to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, the Treasury Department announced on Tuesday.

Fiscal sponsorship is an arrangement that allows an established nonprofit, such as AGJ, to process tax-deductible donations for another group that has not registered as a charity with the Internal Revenue Service, according to the American Bar Association. Under the most common form of fiscal sponsorship agreement, the sponsor and the organization being sponsored are considered to be the same legal entity, with the sponsor being responsible for conducting oversight on its projects.

Donations from left-of-center charities to AGJ fell into roughly three categories. Some nonprofits gave AGJ funds to support its general operations, many provided donations to support its work in a given issue area and others earmarked their contribution for a specific fiscally sponsored group housed by it. In any case, AGJ collects an 8% cut of all donations intended for its various projects.

A handful of the contributions to AGJ suggest that the cash may have gone directly to Samidoun. The Soros-funded Detention Watch Network, for instance, donated roughly $127,000 to the organization to fund its “anti-detention work,” tax documents show.

Samidoun bills itself as “working to build solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in their struggle for freedom,” which is a form of “anti-detention work.”

Canada went a step further than the United States and designated Samidoun as a terrorist organization. AGJ listed Samidoun on its now-deleted page of projects as of at least late 2023, according to an archive of the organization’s website.

Many of the organizations that financially supported AGJ, beyond having a left-of-center ideological bent, also have ties to major players in the Democratic Party.

Windward Fund and New Venture Fund, two arms of the Democratic-aligned dark money network managed by the consulting firm Arabella Advisors, gave roughly $1.5 million to AGJ for non-specific programs between 2020 and 2022, tax disclosures show. The Tides Center, a component of one of the largest liberal nonprofit networks by revenue, gave about $1.4 million to AGJ between 2020 and 2022. About half of Tides’ contributions to AGJ went to non-descript “human rights” projects with the remainder earmarked for the Louisville Community Bail Fund.

“As we have said before, we condemn terrorism and violence against civilians in all forms and do not support any projects or provide any grants to organizations that fund terrorism,” a New Venture Fund spokesperson told the DCNF. “While our previous grants to Alliance for Global Justice supported domestic energy work specifically, New Venture Fund has discontinued all grantmaking to any projects hosted by Alliance for Global Justice.”

Windward Fund provided a similar statement, saying that it “does not support terrorism in any form and strongly denounces any violence against civilians” and that it “no longer provides grants for organizations that are sponsored by the Alliance for Global Justice. ”

ActBlue Charities, a charitable donation processor maintained by the company behind the largest Democratic contribution processing platform, directed roughly $56,000 to AGJ in 2021, tax documents show. The Ben & Jerry’s Foundation, the charitable arm of the famously pro-Democratic ice cream brand, donated $55,000 to AGJ in 2022 for “general support.”

Prior to the Treasury Department flagging it as a terrorist front group, Samidoun had been scrutinized for its ties to the PFLP by watchdog groups and the Israeli government. The PFLP has ordered suicide bombings, hijacked planes and shot rockets at civilians, according to the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

The PFLP “uses Samidoun to maintain fundraising operations in both Europe and North America,” the Treasury Department announced Tuesday. Watchdogs had previously reported that multiple Samidoun leaders maintained ties with the PFLP and one of the organization’s cofounders called Hamas’ Oct. 7 terrorist attacks in Israel “a brave and heroic operation.”

Charities linked to major Democratic donors George Krupp and Michael Moritz also funded AGJ, tax documents reveal. The Crankstart and Krupp Family foundations, the family foundations of Moritz and Krupp respectively, donated a combined total of over $200,000 to AGJ between 2020 and 2022. The Loud Hound Foundation, where Moritz serves as secretary and treasurer, donated an additional $25,000 to AGJ in 2020.

Open Society Foundations, founded by billionaire philanthropist George Soros and now led by Alex Soros, gave AGJ $250,000 in 2020 to help it “catalyze Black communities into the global movement for climate justice,” grant records show. Both George Soros and his son Alex Soros are major contributors to Democratic political committees, according to campaign finance records. Open Society Foundations gave a quarter million to the Al-Haq Human Rights Organization, an Israeli-designated terrorist group, in 2023.

“There is strict U.S. anti-terrorist legislation that determines which organizations a foundation like OSF can fund,” an Open Society Foundations spokesperson told the DCNF. “We devote a lot of effort to ensuring full compliance. None of our partners have ever been designated under U.S. law as supporting terrorism.”

The spokesperson clarified that its payments to AGJ were “completely unrelated to Israel and Palestine.”

Samidoun’s Seattle chapter, in conjunction with other pro-Palestinian activists, blockaded a key American port in Tacoma, Washington in November 2023 in an attempt to stop aid from reaching Israel.

At least one of the organizations funding AGJ even has financial links to the Biden-Harris administration. Social And Environmental Entrepreneurs, which gave $335,000 to AGJ for a “collaboration grant” in 2022, received $50 million from the Environmental Protection Agency in 2023 to “fund environmental justice projects.”

“Organizations like Samidoun masquerade as charitable actors that claim to provide humanitarian support to those in need, yet in reality divert funds for much-needed assistance to support terrorist groups,” Acting Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Bradley T. Smith said. “The United States, together with Canada and our like-minded partners, will continue to disrupt those who seek to finance the PFLP, Hamas, and other terrorist organizations.”

As a result of Tuesday’s sanctions, all transactions between U.S. persons and Samidoun are prohibited.

Samidoun, AGJ, Detention Watch Network, Windward Fund, Arabella Advisors, ActBlue, the Ben & Jerry’s Foundation, the Tides Center, the Crankstart Foundation and the Krupp Family Foundation did not respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment.

CBS Journalist in Gaza Tied to Terror, Investigation Finds

News producer for CBS praised terrorists, had contacts with terrorists as a member of the Gaza City municipality council.

A CBS News journalist in Gaza praised terrorists at an official event of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and had contacts with terrorists as a member of the Gaza City municipality council, an HonestReporting investigation revealed.

Marwan al-Ghoul has been working as a CBS News producer in Gaza for more than two decades, and his affiliation with a proscribed terror group, as well as his official public role in the Hamas-ruled Strip, raise alarming questions regarding the network’s journalistic standards.

Here are the details of what HonestReporting has discovered, based on Arabic media reports and Al-Ghoul’s Facebook page. It is the latest in a series of exposes unmasking Gaza’s biased reporters.

PFLP Links

In 2018, Al-Ghoul was among the speakers at an official PFLP event commemorating one of the prominent members of the terror group who was also Al-Ghoul’s relative.

According to the PFLP website, Al-Ghoul spoke on behalf of the family, which “expressed their gratitude to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and their esteemed comrades everywhere in the Palestinian land . . . for their . . . commitment to continue the struggle.”

Al-Ghoul praised the group’s terrorists, emphasizing his relative’s dedication to “maintaining the noble national values established by the leading martyrs, such as Al-Hakim, Abu Ali Mustafa, and Wadie Haddad, and those who followed their path of struggle and martyrdom.”

The PFLP is a proscribed terror group whose members were involved in deadly attacks against Israelis, including suicide bombings, stabbings and shootings.

The fact that Al-Ghoul was invited to address an official event of the group suggests his (and his family’s) affiliation with it is deep. The effect such an affiliation might have on his “journalistic” work cannot be underestimated.

Official Role

Al-Ghoul also cozied up with the terror group’s officials as a member of the Gaza City municipality council.

In 2022, a news report showed him smiling next to Gaza City mayor Yahya Sarraj as they hosted a PFLP delegation to discuss “issues of concern to citizens and ways of cooperating.”

What could possibly be discussed in such a meeting? How to better embed terrorists amid the civilian population?

That would not be far-fetched to assume, considering that back in 2022, the IDF revealed that an Islamic Jihad rocket was launched from a location owned by the Gaza City municipality. It misfired and killed two Palestinians.

Referring to the Gaza City mayor, the IDF spokesperson’s unit said at the time that “Sarraj chose to take care of the terrorist organization Islamic Jihad more than the residents of the city he heads, and he abused public space that belongs to the residents of the city for terror. This is how he harmed his citizens directly.”

According to an announcement on his Facebook page, Al-Ghoul resigned from his membership in the city council in November 2022. It’s not clear how long he served, why he resigned, whether he got paid to do the job, and if so by whom.

But according to a Fatah official quoted by WAFA, Gaza municipal council members are appointed by Hamas. And according to Reuters, Hamas is the body in charge of paying public sector workers.

The Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Local Government may be in charge on paper, but de-facto, Hamas runs the show.

In any case, AL-Ghoul’s profile photo still appears on the official website of the Gaza city municipality, with a bio that presents him as a “media professional working with several Arab and international channels,” as well as a “member of the Municipal Council.”

What’s clear is that such a public role, in an enclave ruled by terrorists and where terrorists are hosted by the mayor, cannot be done without problematic ties. Especially for a journalist who needs to cover political and civilian issues objectively.

Celebrated Journalist

None of that seemed to bother CBS News, which either turned a blind eye to Al-Ghoul’s activities, or had no idea about them.

The network relied heavily on his work at the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war and praised his “journalism.”

Unsurprisingly, Al-Ghoul’s reports from Gaza are typical — they include destruction and victims, not Hamas terrorists.

Perhaps this is because he prayed for the “victory” of these terrorists in a Facebook post on October 7, as they massacred Israeli women and children:

And it might also be because, as the head of the Mayadeen media Group, Al-Ghoul had long lasting ties with the Hamas-run Government Media Office. In 2008, he delivered a panel in a workshop organized by the office on “the freedom of journalistic work under the Israeli occupation” (although Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005.)

Al-Ghoul is not a journalist. Like many other Gaza “reporters” who work for respected Western media outlets, he is a propagandist, at best, or a terror collaborator, at worst.

CBS News should not celebrate his work, but be ashamed of it.

On May 29, 2024, a Gaza-based organization issued a statement titled, “It Is Time for Revolutionary Escalation of the Global Student Intifada for Palestine: A Call from the Palestinian Student Movement in the Gaza Strip.”

The following are excerpts from the English version:

“We write this call from our student movement in the Gaza Strip, from the heart of occupied Palestine, from under the brutal Zionist bombing, explosions, and the clutches of the monstrous nightmare of death that lurks around us in every corner, house, and street … to send it to our fellow students, our comrades, brothers and sisters, in all the universities, schools and institutes of the world everywhere, and we address the global student movement that was launched in order to stop the genocidal war that is being engineered and financed by the governments of the United States, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, Australia and others …

“We in the Gaza Strip look at you with pride and honour, as you are a revolutionary fighting vanguard, and a natural and integral part of our Palestinian liberation movement…

“Today, we call on you … to a new revolutionary phase of comprehensive escalation, and to raise the pace and ceiling of your struggle and your honorable stances, quantitatively and qualitatively, against the institutions, corporations, and governments that participate in the slaughter of our children, our students, and our people in Rafah, Jabalia, Khan Younis, and the entire Gaza Strip, and against the settler gangs, armies of Zionist killers, and so on that commit their crimes in camps, cities and villages in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

“We call on you to besiege the White House in Washington, and to surround the palaces, headquarters and ministries of Western colonial governments and Zionist embassies, and the buildings and offices of the corporations that finance the Zionist entity and arm its criminal army with all kinds of bombs and means of death and destruction … we call on you to blockade them until the American Zionist aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip stops.

“… We renew our call to the teaching, academic, and union bodies in universities, as well as cultural, academic, and scientific figures, to advocate for and support student movements until they achieve their goals.

“Today we turn to high school students all over the world to participate widely in the struggles and activities of the university student movement, organizing demonstrations, sit-ins, and vigils, writing petitions and letters, and organizing educational days about the Palestinian struggle and the goals of the Palestinian people for liberation and return…

” … We send special greetings to our brothers and sisters, the students of Palestine in the diaspora, and to our comrades and colleagues in Students for Justice in Palestine, the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, Palestine Action, and the academic boycott and divestment campaigns, and we salute everyone who participated and participates in student encampments at every university, college and school.

“The duty and responsibility of Palestinian students in the Gaza Strip and all of occupied Palestine is steadfastness, commitment, resistance, unity, and alignment with the resistance and the people until the U.S.-Zionist aggression stops and the occupation is defeated and removed from our land – all our land, from the river to the sea.

“Long live the struggle of Palestine’s students for return and liberation

“Long live international solidarity

“And together we will be victorious.”

Jewish Yale student stabbed in eye with PLO flag

A Jewish student at Yale University was stabbed in the eye with a PLO flag during an anti-Israel demonstration at the school’s New Haven, Conn., campus on Saturday night.

“Tonight at Yale, I was assaulted by a student today at an anti-Israel protest. He stabbed me in the eye with a Palestinian flag. Now I’m in the hospital. This is what happens when visibly Jewish students try to attend and document these rallies,” Sahar Tartak, a sophomore, tweeted after the incident.

Tartak, who is studying history and is the editor-in-chief of the independent Yale Free Press college newspaper, was attempting to film the pro-Palestinian encampment set when she and a friend were confronted by five activists who formed a wall and would not let them pass.

“One of them takes their Palestinian flag and waves it in my face and then jabs it in the face,” Tartak told The Jerusalem Post.

Tartak reported the incident to the campus police who called her an ambulance. She went to the hospital and was discharged without suffering permanent damage.

She said that protesters pushed her and her friend repeatedly. Earlier documentation Tartak posted to X showed the demonstrators commemorating the recently deceased Walid Daqqa, a Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist who was convicted of murdering an Israeli soldier in 1984.

Tartak also posted video she took of protesters at Yale yelling, “Viva via Palestina” as they pull down an American flag, cheering when it hits the ground. She noted that the university police and administration did nothing in response.

A mob of Yale students shout “VIVA VIVA PALESTINA” as they tear down an American flag on campus, cheering when it hits the floor.t but they said they needed “authorization.” She also noted that they were outnumbered by the pro-Palestinian mob of thousands of activists to only seven police officers.

No arrests were made during the protests, according to two groups involved—Yalies for Palestine and American Muslims for Palestine Connecticut. They said the protest started on Friday night in response to attempts to break up a similar encampment on the Columbia University campus.

“These students are violating every policy in the books, they should have been disbanded immediately,” Tartak told the Post. “These students have taken over campus, and it’s an intimidation tactic.”

In her tweet and Post interview, Tartak did not identify the assailant who stabbed her with the flag or say if she will press charges.

Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz sound alarm over PayPal working with terror-linked group

EXCLUSIVE — Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) are raising concerns over PayPal, the multinational technology company, processing payments for an anti-Israel charity with Palestinian terror group affiliations.

PayPal has begun handling donations for the Arizona charity Alliance for Global Justice, which has come under fire from Congress and watchdog groups for being linked to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terror group, following the two software companies Salsa Labs and Stripe jumping ship. Congressional Republicans are now vowing investigations into PayPal, which doesn’t allow entities to use its services for “the promotion of hate, violence, racial, or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory or the financial exploitation of a crime,” according to its policies.

“PayPal should obviously and immediately cut ties with any group linked to Palestinian terrorism,” Cruz told the Washington Examiner. “Big Tech companies are not exempt from American laws or reputational risk from boosting terrorism.”…

IRS Allows Islamic Terrorists to Fundraise Through Leftist Nonprofit

Rabbi Eitan Shnerb was hiking to a spring with his son Dvir and his daughter Rina when the bomb went off. For a moment, as he described it in the hospital, everything went black. Then, badly wounded, he saw that the two teenagers were bleeding. Rabbi Shnerb was a trained paramedic. He saw that Rina, his 17-year-old daughter, had absorbed most of the blast. He kissed her on the forehead. And then he turned his Tzizit, the biblical garment that Orthodox Jewish men wear, into a tourniquet for his 19-year-old son to stop the bleeding.

 Dvir told his father that he couldn’t breathe and passed out. His daughter was already dead.

“I wanted to believe it was just a dream,” Rabbi Shnerb said from his hospital bed. “I have experienced several bombs in my life and been saved, thank God, but this one got us,..I immediately called to Rina, shouting ‘Rina, Rina,’ I looked down and saw that she was not alive.”

Rabbi Shnerb had stopped a terrorist attack earlier this year by two armed attackers. This time he had not seen the explosion coming.

The terrorist group behind the 2019 terrorist attack was the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. And the IRS is accused of allowing it to fundraise through a leftist nonprofit group.

One name that keeps coming up in the Freedom Center’s investigations of nonprofits is the Alliance for Global Justice. AFGJ was spun off from the Nicaragua Network which had been set up to support the Sandinista Marxist terror regime. It went on to operate the Venezuela Solidarity Campaign in support of the narcosocialist Maduro regime in that country.

While the IRS has harassed pro-Israel groups and interrogated them about their views, it has apparently never found the time to ask the AFGJ about its support for enemy nations. It currently features a commemoration of Chavez’s legacy in support of a regime whose bosses are wanted criminals for their role in a cartel smuggling cocaine into the United States.

AFGJ’s backers include George Soros, Tides, the Ben and Jerry’s Foundation, and other wealthy leftists, and it has used its status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to offer fiscal sponsorship to some of the worst of the worst close to home. The 130 groups it sponsors include several Black Lives Matter chapters, the Free Mumia Abu-Jamal Coalition in support of a cop killer, pro-illegal alien groups, as well as several brail funds whose mission is freeing rioters and criminals.

Some of these groups might not be able to obtain nonprofit status on their own, but benefit from the fiscal sponsorship of the Alliance for Global Justice.which allows them to accept tax-deductible contributions. When Refuse Fascism, a group linked by some to Antifa and which has defended Antifa violence, solicits donations, it does so using the Action Network, a platform utilized by both Antifa and the DNC, and directs tax-deductible donations through AFGJ.

The same is true of the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network which asks supporters to direct checks to AFGJ. Samidoun does not bother to disguise what it is. It describes terrorists as “resistance fighters” and “martyrs”, and urges support for the “resistance”. The cheerleading for terrorists is accompanied by a call, “Make your US tax-deductible donation today, and donate safely and securely from around the world.”

The AFGJ states that, “Fiscal sponsorship services are offered to grassroots non-profits that agree with the AFGJ vision and mission statements.” Does that include terrorists?

After the murder of Rina Shnerb, Israel arrested members of a PFLP terror network embedded inside nonprofit groups. Israel designated Samidoun as a subsidiary of the PFLP terrorist organization. Multiple PFLP figures have been accused of serving leadership roles in Samidoun including its executive director, former vice chair, and multiple coordinators.

PayPal, MasterCard, Visa and other financial services have cut off access to Samidoun and the latest also cut off AFGJ. Currently, AFGJ and its various sponsorees warn donors that they can only take paper checks.

“AfGJ cannot accept credit donations—and neither can the 140 organizations that rely on AfGJ to provide them with fiscal sponsorship,” the leftist group cautions.

While AFGJ is running low on online sites willing to process donations to them, the IRS has yet to take any action. The Zachor Legal Institute, a pro-Israel group fighting BDS, filed an IRS complaint and directed a letter to the DOJ noting that the “PFLP has built a financial system supported by an infrastructure of the Seven PFLP Proxies who raise money on various humanitarian pretexts” while “directing money to the PFLP.”

And yet the odds of the IRS taking action are slim. Even though the PFLP was designated as one of the terrorist groups listed by President George W. Bush after September 11, it was less difficult for Zachor and conservative media to persuade financial services companies to stop processing donations for AFGJ than to get the IRS to enforce tax code regulations and the law.

AFGJ informed the IRS that its mission is to “achieve social change and economic justice”. In reality it has helped unleash violence at home and abroad. The beneficiaries include BLM’s Louisville Community Bail Fund which bailed out Quintez Brown, a Black Lives Matter activist, who walked into the campaign office of a Louisville political candidate and opened fire.

While payment processors have cut off the Alliance for Global Justice, the IRS has yet to act. After over two decades, the IRS has shown no interest in taking action even as the AFGJ continues to act as a fiscal sponsor for groups that would not qualify for nonprofit status. The fiscal sponsorship loophole continues to be abused to fund everything including terrorism.

The Freedom Center’s pamphlet, Internal Radical Service by David Horowitz and John Perazzo, has exposed how the IRS routinely allows leftist nonprofits to violate tax codes and the law. The fiscal sponsorship loophole is widely used by radical leftists to make illegal activity tax deductible. Tax code regulations state that “exempt purposes may generally be equated with the public good, and violations of law are the antithesis of the public good”. They warn that, “violation of constitutionally valid laws is inconsistent with exemption under IRC 501(c)(3)” and that “planned activities that violate laws are not in furtherance of a charitable purpose”.

Terrorism is one of the most blatant possible examples of behavior at odds with the public good.

While the IRS is warning waiters to report their tips, it allows terrorists to benefit from tax deductible money. Payment processors have shown that they have a higher level of compliance with the law than the IRS. When the IRS refuses to enforce the law while demanding that everyone abide by it, that is a culture of lawlessness and, in this case, it’s costing lives.
