The Coming of the Mahdi

The world is presently at its most wicked. It is beyond human help. It requires only a nudge to implode and prepare for the divine ruler, the Saheb-ul-Zaman (the Mahdi, the Lord of the Age) to come and set it aright. It is the sacred duty and privilege of every Muslim to do all he can to hasten the death of the old world and the birth of the global Islamic Ummah. Thus goes the thinking of Iran’s ruling mullahs and their hand-picked presidents.

It seems like the old millennialism thinking. The belief in supernatural intervention to set the world aright is scriptural to major religions, including Islam. The Jews have been earnestly supplicating the Lord for the Messiah to come, the Christians are impatiently awaiting the second coming of Christ, and, the Zoroastrians are convinced that Saoshayant is the one who shall come, defeat the trouble-making Ahriman — Satan — and make the creatures again pure. But this time around, a group of believers with tremendous resources are intent on forcing the issue, making the conditions so dire that they leave the reluctant Saheb-ul-Zaman no choice but to appear and assume his universal reign.

Up to this point, millennialism was a belief and a hope. No one ever aspired to or had the means of making the anticipated events come about. The matter was in the hands of God. The Muslims’ perennial prayer recited every day, posted in mosques and even on bumpers of vehicles has been, “O, Saheb-ul-Zaman, hasten your coming.” The prayer for the advent, thus far, has been limited to passive supplications of the faithful.

It is a well-established fact that beliefs are the potent impetus to action. If you believe your home is about to be burglarized, you secure the house and take other precautions. If you, under the influence of drugs, believe that a bug is burrowing into your skin, you may take a knife to your own body and try to dig the imaginary bug out.

Hence, it is shortsighted to dismiss the mullahs as a bunch of lunatics who are out of touch with reality and that they have no intention of doing catastrophic mischief to compel the Mahdi’s coming — maybe some arming of the Iraqi Shiites, a little support for Hezb’allah in Lebanon and Hamas in Palestine — but no, no major idiocy. After all, they are rational people and in touch with reality. Any large-scale troublemaking spells their doom as well. Thus goes rationalization — the greatest risky tranquilizer of the mind.

Rationalization, compounded by complacency and denial, can be deadly, particularly when adversaries have different realities. To the fanatic mullahs ruling Iran, Sahaeb-ul-Zaman is an absolute reality, and his promised advent is irrevocably ordained. This is their reality and their belief and they have every intention of leading their life according to them.

It is foolish for non-Muslims to dismiss the mullahs and the likes of the Taliban as a bunch of fringe lunatics who are going to go away simply by wishing for it. The Islamist reality is that non-Muslims are the ones who deserve to be done away with, they are the ones who have refused to submit to the summons of Allah for much too long, and, it is time for the faithful to get rid of them. This makes for a lopsided contest. The non-Muslims are passively wishing that the nightmarish surge of Islamism is only a temporary fringe phenomenon doomed to die on its own, while the other side is marshaling its huge destructive power to accomplish its aim by eradicating non-Muslims.

The cabal of fanatical mullahs ruling Iran has lost its patience, not only with the unbelievers but also with the Mahdi as well. They aim to force his arrival. The mullahs believe they have the means to make it impossible for the Mahdi to tarry any longer by causing unprecedented death and destruction — conditions deemed essential for his coming. The world must hit the very bottom before the savior of the world comes to the rescue, so they firmly believe.

The question is: What does prudence demand? Wishing the problem to go away is not a very effective solution in the same way that wishing for the Saheb-ul-Zaman to come has not been. Reasoning and negotiating with the mullahs and their ilk hold very little if any, lasting promise. There are always easy ways of denial and appeasement. We are very good at both practices. No, the Muslims have been around for ages. They make some trouble from time to time. But they are not all that bad and dangerous. We’ll get along. If we have to, we’ll even let them live by the Sharia — their stone-age laws — in our midst. We’ll be reasonable and they will come around. We’ll just have to get along. So goes the line.

One problem: The other side doesn’t think this way. The Islamofascists don’t believe in the notion of live and let live.” They believe that the earth is Allah’s and it has been sullied by the heathens, the unbelievers, and the kafir for far too long. Now that they have the means, they aim to make the world to their design and bring about the final solution — a nasty reminder of not too long ago Nazism.

Is this alarmist, or even hatemongering? You don’t believe Muslims can be that intolerant and hostile toward non-Muslims and that they’ll never go to the extremes? Do you know Muslims personally in your neighborhood or your workplace and they are nice people? The nice Muslims you know are presently small minorities in alien lands. They have to be nice, and they may indeed be nice. Yet, when the main force of Islam surges forward, these nice folks will either have to join it or be swept aside like the rest of the resisters.

The concern is not with individual Muslims who live as solid citizens in democratic societies. They may have developed a taste for the freedom democracy bestows or have simply learned to tolerate it. Our concern is with the gathering Islamic storm from the heart of Islamdom. To truly appreciate Islam, you must experience firsthand Islam in power. Take a quick trip to the lands of the Muslims and find out for yourself how horribly they treat the non-Muslims, even the “People of the book,” Jews and Christians. Try to have a Bible study group or build a church in Saudi Arabia and discover the benevolence of Islamic rule.

I urgently call on US politicians to redirect U.S. foreign policy in line with our nation’s lofty ideals and principles. I urge the Administration to proclaim its unequivocal support for the Iranian people and back that claim with concrete effective peaceful actions. It is the best investment that the U.S. can make to attract the powerful nation of Iran as a vital ally and concurrently refrain from foolishly undermining its present sole friend, Israel. Recall that it was the Iranian people’s massive magnificent movement against the re-election of the fraud Ahmadinejad that inspired the so-called “Arab Spring.” That movement has not stopped. It is ongoing.

The world is a laboratory where the experiment with Islam shows irrefutable results. To the extent that Islam rules any society, that society is stagnant, backward thinking, repressive and violent. The Islamic Republic of Iran represents the cutting edge for the newly petrodollar-invigorated Islam. It is determined to complete its task of ending the world of “Dar-ul-Harb” — the non-Muslim world to be warred upon — and establishing the “Dar-ul-Solh,” or “Dar-ul-Salam” — the Muslim world of the Ummah under the rule of the Mahdi. If achieving this aim hinges on the conflagration of a cataclysmic nuclear World War, the mullahs are happy to make it happen.

Israel is Fighting the World’s War

Editor’s note: The piece below is to mark Yom Hazikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day, and Yom Haatzmaut, Independence Day – a somber day followed by a day of great celebration held every year in late April or early May on the day (in the Hebrew calendar) which, in 1948, Israel declared its independence. This year, Yom Hazikaron will be commemorated from the evening of Monday, April 24th, and Yom Haatzmaut will be celebrated from the evening of Tuesday, April 25 to the evening of Wednesday, April 26.

None of the 18 people murdered in Israel by Islamic terrorists so far this year were soldiers.

The dead included a 6-year-old boy and his 8-year-old brother killed in a car ramming attack in Jerusalem, a British mother and daughters gunned down on the road, a 27-year-old from Connecticut traveling to a wedding, and an Italian tourist run over on the beach.

In some countries, the soldiers fight wars, in Israel, they fight to stop a genocide.

Islamic massacres are often defended with some variation of “the occupied have the right to resist”. The Muslim occupiers keep resisting the indigenous Jewish population by killing women and children, and random foreigners whose only crime is being non-Muslim in a land that the terrorists want to reclaim for Islam.

Ever since the “throw the Jews into the sea” era, the agenda has never changed.

After the shooting of two brothers driving through the occupied village of Huwara, the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research conducted a poll asking the Arab Muslim settlers if they approved of the terrorist attack. 71% of them supported the killings.

When Yom Hazikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day, arrives on Monday evening, it finds a nation at war against a genocidal enemy that has half the world under siege.

In the past several weeks, five terrorists were arrested in Sweden, four in France in yet another plot to carry out an attack the Champs-Elysées, a teenager in the UK will be tried for plotting an attack at the Isle of Wight Festival and an Islamic terrorist leader in Australia was sentenced to 15 years in prison for planning to behead a non-Muslim and drape his body in the ISIS flag.

Stories like these have become so routine and overshadowed that we no longer pay any attention to them. Islamic terrorism unites us all. Its victims include America and Europe, India, China and Russia. It crosses the world from Africa to Asia and ends up on our doorstep.

With so much of the world under siege, it is a wonder that a tiny country so narrow you could walk its width has been the finger in the dike, holding out against a tide of death flooding the world.

The Jihad did not begin in Israel, but it was a warning to the world of what was to come. The prediction that we would one day all be Israelis, that Islamic terrorism would become a part of our everyday lives and we would go on while trying to ignore it, has long since come to pass.

But, as Israel enters its memorial day and red poppies known as the ‘blood of the maccabees’  mark the fallen, followed by Yom HaAtzamut, its independence day, there are still things, both good and bad, that we can learn from the Jewish State. The connection between the two Israeli commemorations, memorial day on Monday night and independence day on Tuesday night, is a powerful reminder that independence can only be maintained through a willingness to fight.

Surrender is not an option, but it has never been an option in a country where it would mean the mass murder, with occasional side mass rape, of the population. Israel has retreated, it has negotiated, but it has never surrendered. The terrorist attacks serve as a constant reminder of an enemy that obsessively kills women and children because its mission is total extermination.

Only 38% of the Israelis killed in Islamic terrorist attacks in 2023 were military age men. 27% were female and 22% were children. The murdered included 6-year-old and 8-year-old boys run down in the street, a 14-year-old boy on the way to synagogue and a 15-year-old British girl traveling with her family.

This is why the Israeli soldier serves. He is there to put his body on the line between Islamic terrorists and the most vulnerable and innocent children whose lives they lust to take.

Islamic terrorists don’t kill children by accident, they see it as their highest calling.

House Democrats recently protested the arrest of Sheikh Rashid Ghannouchi, of Tunisia’s Islamist Ennahda Movement, who had called for “unceasing war against the Americans”.

“There are no civilians in Israel. The population—males, females and children—are the army reserve soldiers, and thus can be killed,” Ghannouchi had also declared.

The Islamic cleric has often been described as a “moderate” by the media. Moderate Muslim clerics believe in exterminating all the women and children. What do the “extremists” believe?

Despite Israel’s turbulent politics, Yom HaZikaron, the commemoration of the fallen, briefly clarifies the stakes.

And the stakes are the children. And the world.

The Muslim world convinced the international community to pressure Israel by promising that the Jihad would stop there. “Give us Israel and it will end,” they urged. Despite all those promises, the Islamic war against civilization has spread across the world. Most of the world’s major nations and some of the minor ones have their own Islamic insurgency that plays by the same rules: alternating political demands with brutal massacres in the name of Islamic rule.

Generations of Israelis have gone to an endless war, sacrificed sons and daughters, to hold back the tide. They did it in defiance of the ignorance, hostility and pressures of the world.

They did it because they believed, they did it because they refused to die and they did it because surrendering to an enemy that gleefully butchers children was unthinkable.

Despite everything that has happened in the last generation, the world has learned little. But the Israelis have learned that peace is an illusion and that all they can do is hold the line.

When the torches are lit and loved ones weep, when the ‘blood of the maccabees’ blooms, a nation reckons again with the price that it pays for survival. Whatever myths pacifists may harbor and anti-war activists preach, there is no escape for any nation from paying that price.

Some nations have it paid by others, as the United States of America has done for so much of the globe, but in a world where evil is a reality writ in the black ink of the Koran, there can only be temporary refuges from the reckoning.

Israel still relies on a draft army. The price paid for war is a shared burden, but so is the price paid for appeasement. The fallen and their families come from all walks of life. These men and women, grandmothers, sisters, sons and nephews, have paid the world’s price in tears. They did not do it for the world, but their nation’s memorial day is nonetheless a lesson for the world.

Paying the price for freedom has long since become a cliche. Israelis do not pay the price for freedom. They pay it so that their children, their loved ones and their people are not eradicated from the earth by a brutal enemy that has no concept of mercy and worships barbarism.

The Israelis have come up against a choice that we will all have to make sooner or later. They chose not to die. The day will come when we may face that choice as starkly as they do.

Let us hope and pray that we choose well.

NEW YORK CITY: Pro-Jihad Rallygoers Chant for the Total Destruction of Israel [Video]

This would result in a new genocide of Jews. Leftists, heedless of that fact or indifferent to it, happily join in the chant.

Speakers At ‘Hands Off Al-Aqsa’ Rally In NYC Praise Palestinian Terrorists, Chant: From The River To The Sea, Palestine Will Be Free!

MEMRI, April 8, 2023:

On April 8, 2023, a rally titled “Hands Off Al-Aqsa” was held by several pro-Palestinian organizations in New York City. At the rally, footage of which was posted to the Christopher Leon Johnson YouTube channel on April 8, 2023, speakers praised the Palestinian “resistance” and its “martyrs.”

American-Palestinian activist Sireen Sawalha, the sister of Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist Iyad Sawalha, praised her brother, saying he had been a “hero” and a “freedom-fighter”. Iyad Sawalha, killed by Israeli security forces in 2002, had been responsible for the deaths of dozens of Israelis in several terrorist attacks, including two bus bombings. Sireen Sawalha led the crowd in the chant: “With our spirit and our blood, we will redeem you, oh Palestine!”

An American activist named “Ruqayya” from Al-Awda NY praised “martyrs” and “heroes” Bassel al-Araj (killed in gunfight with Israeli forces in 2017), Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi (killed by Israeli forces in August 2022), and Iyad Sawalha. She said: “We will continue to applaud the bravery and the resilience of the resistance and freedom fighters.” She added that there will never be peace until the Palestinian people have the right to “return to their homes and lands […] in every corner of the land of Palestine from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea.” An activist named “Nay” from the Palestinian Youth Movement said: “We proudly uplift our people’s resistance and commend their steadfastness […] until every inch of the colonized land is liberated.”

The rally was endorsed by several organizations, including NY4Palestine, Palestinian American CC, Within Our Lifetime, Samidoun, CAIR NY, CAIR NJ, ICNA CSJ, Jewish Voices for Peace NYC, Jews for Palestine Right of Return, MAS NY, NNJ DSA BDS & Palestine Sol. WG, and United American Indians of New England.

Sireen Sawalha: “I want you to know Iyad Sawalha from Jenin, this was my brother.

[…]

“I want to condemn the media when they say he was a terrorist – he was a freedom fighter.

[…]

“He was a hero, he lived all his life to see his country free. So, free, free Palestine!”

Crowd: “Free, free Palestine!”

Sireen Sawalha: “With our souls and our blood, we will redeem you, oh Palestine!”

Crowd: “With our souls and our blood, we will redeem you, oh Palestine!”

[…]

Ruqayya: “It is the Palestinian vanguard, which are our freedom fighters and political prisoners, who are the future of a liberated Palestine. This also [includes] our martyrs, who are honored every day. We remember our heroes, Bassel Al-Araj, Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi, also Sireen’s brother Iyad, and countless others, for their bravery, resistance, and resilience.

[…]

“We will continue to applaud their bravery and the resilience of our resistance and freedom fighters who are on the frontlines, facing the brutal violence committed by the paramilitary colonial forces. While they are resisting in Palestine, we must resist and do our part here.

[…]

“There will never be peace in the region until that injustice is ended, until the Palestinian people have the right to return to their homes and lands and live safe in freedom in every corner of the land of Palestine from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea!”

[…]

Nay: “How much violence are Palestinians expected to endure before their right to resist is acknowledged? Their right to resist – again – by any means necessary. Why are Palestinians expected to take their oppression in silence, and why do some people only speak of Palestinians’ oppression, but denounce or stay silent when it comes to their resistance? We are witnessing a shift in the regional orientation to Palestinian resistance. The legacy of the May 2021 uprising has shifted the equation from one isolated Palestinian faction versus the Zionist forces, to multiple unified fronts confronting a broken and internally fragmented entity. Once again, we cannot shout: ‘Free Palestine,’ and then fall silent when it comes to uplifting resistance and acts of decolonization. We proudly uplift our people’s resistance and commend their steadfastness in the face of colonial aggression, until every inch of colonized land is liberated. From the water [of the Jordan River] to the water [of the Mediterranean Sea] Palestine is Arab!”

Crowd: “Palestine is Arab!”

NY: Muslim told cops ‘I will crucify Yonkers cops and their bosses. It will be a horror scene…Allahu Ekberr’

He also called for “jihad” and “war against non-Muslims.” Why haven’t the multitudes of moderate Muslim spokesmen in the U.S. gone to Yonkers to explain to Ridon Kola how he is misunderstanding the Religion of Peace?

Meanwhile, where did Kola get this crucifixion idea? Could it have been from here? “The only reward for those who make war upon Allah and his messenger and struggle to sow corruption on earth will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides, or be expelled from the land. Such will be their degradation in this world, and in the hereafter, theirs will be an awful doom.” (5:33)

ISIS lover busted for plotting to kill cops on street of Yonkers St. Patrick’s Day parade

by Craig McCarthy and Steven Vago, New York Post, March 17, 2023:

An ISIS-loving radical Islamic extremist from Yonkers was busted by the feds Friday for plotting to kill the city’s police officers and mayor beginning on the street where the local St. Patrick’s Day parade was set to go down, authorities said Friday.

Ridon Kola, 32, directly messaged the Yonkers police, saying “I will crucify Yonkers cops and their bosses all along McLean ave. It will be a horror scene . . . Allahu Ekberr,” according to federal authorities.

Though Kola didn’t directly threaten the parade, McLean Avenue is the street where the city’s St. Patrick’s Day event is scheduled for Saturday — and it prompted officials to quickly bust him Friday so he couldn’t do any damage at the event.

“Yonkers is proud to host one of New York’s largest St. Patrick’s Day parades and threats like this will not intimidate us from celebrating the many contributions of our Irish American community,” Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano tweeted after the bust.
Kola was arrested and charged with making threatening interstate communications, according to the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams.

On multiple occasions, Kola had posted disturbing posts online, including support for a “jihad,” or “to war against non-Muslims,” the feds allege. He also voiced support for extremists from the Islamic State.

The messages apparently went on for years. In 2021, he posted one to an official Yonkers police social media account written in Albanian that read “I am going to slaughter you little girls.”

Then on March 9 sent a direct message to the police account that read “First people to be crucified will be the Yonkers rats Vallahi. Allahu Ekberr.” That message came along with the one referencing killing cops on McLean Avenue.

The joint terrorism task force arrested Kola Friday morning, according to the indictment.

A woman who exited their Yonkers home where an Albanian flag was hanging in the window on Friday threatened to “press charges” against a Post reporter.

“There’s nothing to report. Don’t make me press charges against you. You better step off my property,” snapped the woman, who neighbors identified as Kola’s sister.

Neighbors described Kola as a quiet man.

“He’s never exhibited weird behavior to me,” said Norina, a neighbor who only gave her first name. “He was never creepy. He was normal….

Terrorists Who Murder Israeli Jews Do Not Act Alone

The most basic of all basics is that no Arab terrorist acts alone; he or she is incited to genocidal murder by the entire structure of Palestinian Arab society.

“License to Kill” (Bob Dylan)

“Now, they take him, and they teach him, and they groom him for life

And they set him, on a path where he’s bound to get ill

Then they bury him with stars

Sell his body like they do used cars

Now, there’s a woman on my block

She just sit there facin’ the hill

She say who gonna take away his license to kill?

Now he’s hell-bent for destruction, he’s afraid and confused

And his brain has been mismanaged with great skill

And all he believes are his eyes

And his eyes, they just tell him lies

But there’s a woman on my block

Sitting there in a cold chill

She say who gonna take away his license to kill?”

Palestinian Arab terrorism against the Jews of Israel is constant and mostly targets civilians, whether it is in restaurants, old age homes, synagogues, discos or schools. In Canada it is seldom reported unless there are multiple deaths. And so we read in the Associated Press article carried by many newspapers, how seven Jews attending Sabbath services in Jerusalem were murdered outside the synagogue, but also that the terrorist apparently acted alone.

The idea that he acted alone is preposterous. Unless one understands the basics, there can be no useful reporting. The most basic of all basics is that no Arab terrorist acts alone; he or she is incited to genocidal murder by the entire structure of Palestinian Arab society, including its media, education system, its Islamist imams, and its financial rewards to terrorists and their families.

The lack of understanding, and the immorality that flows from it, is especially acute when the terrorist attack happens on the same day as the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, it is clear that the murder of Jews worldwide, such as in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mumbai, India, Toulouse, France, Paris, France Brussels, Belgium, Copenhagen, Denmark, etc. has assumed genocidal proportions. In the United States, anti-semitic terrorist attacks by Islamists or far right extremists have occurred in Monsey, New York, Poway California, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Seattle, Washington, Los Angeles, California, New York City, and St. Louis, Missouri.

The lessons of the Holocaust, which I have discussed in various essays, is not that we should be more tolerant, or more progressive, or provide more social justice but rather to be mindful that Jewish people have been targeted in the name of religion, justice, envy, paranoia, and hated for being good, for thousands of years, and, judging from the increase of antisemitism, especially at the universities, it is not stopping anytime soon.

So here are the basic facts, which I hope will provide the necessary context the next time that Associated Press attempts to write on this topic:

1. Terrorists are glorified and celebrated with posters of them hung on many streets and their heinous acts are marked with joyful singing and dancing and fireworks and the giving of candy to children.

2. Palestinian Authority bschools or city squares in Palestinian Arab towns have been named for terrorists who murdered Israelis. For example, in 2010, a public square in El Bireh, West Bank, was named for Dalal Mughrabi, a 19-year-old leader of a Palestinian squad that in 1978 killed an American photojournalist and murdered 38 Israeli civilians, 13 of them children.

3. Palestinian Authority officials often visit the mourning tents of families of the terrorists to show how political elites value deceased terrorists.

4. Increasingly, terrorist attacks are not by members of the various terrorist organizations, but by non-members who are incited to terrorism.

5. The financial benefits given to terrorists and their families – the “pay-to-slay” system, in a failed society, are among the largest inducements to impoverished but radical individuals. The Palestinian Authority provides cash incentives to murder Jews. The more people a terrorist murders, the more money he and his family receives from the government.

On the 2022 anniversary of Israel’s independence, PA President Mahmoud Abbas renewed that commitment. “Pay-to-slay,” disburses large sums which could be used to better the lives of the people. The Washington Post reports: “In the Palestinian Authority’s budget, one can find $350 million in annual payments to Palestinian prisoners, ‘martyrs’ and injured.” This sum is approximately half the amount of U.S. aid to the Palestinian Arabs.

6. The spread of social media is often thought to assist the free flow of information and the spread of the values of freedom. But it seems that Palestinian social media is used more to incite young people A technique used by leaders is to falsely claim that Israel is attacking a mosque or cutting off access to the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem when in fact hundreds of thousands of Palestinian Arabs worshiped freely during Ramadan, with the support and protection from Israeli police. Any Israeli counter-terrorism actions are portrayed as evil acts requiring further terrorism in revenge.

7. Palestinian Arab leadership not only encourages violence but feels it must maintain radical positions to keep up with their base’s increasing support for the most radical terrorist organizations. Israel gave the Palestinians all of Gaza, which then elected Hamas terrorists; Israel withdrew from southern Lebanon which then saw a takeover by Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorists, and Israel’s peacemaking in the Oslo Accords was met with increasing power of the Fatah terrorist organization.

Abbas, the PA leader, now is in the 13th year of what was supposed to be a four-year term. He abolished all elections ever since, knowing that the incitement he has enabled will result in his overthrow in favour of more radical elements should he ever agree to another election. This demonstrated the danger of inciting your masses because it is easy to lose control.

8. Perhaps the most egregious mischief done to future prospects of peace is that the textbooks in the Palestinian Arab school system contribute to a culture of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish hate – including outright antisemitism, justifications for violent jihad and condemnation of Israel’s right to exist.

In May a 17-year-old Palestinian armed with a knife was shot dead after attempting to invade a home in Judea and Samaria. Significantly, he attended a school that taught students “gruesome content, directly instructing pupils to kill Israelis”. This followed a string of attacks that killed 19 Israelis.

In my mind, the most tragic aspect of inciting Arab Muslims to violence and genocide comes from the fact that is tolerated, even encouraged, by anti-Israel and antisemitic people in Western nations that should know better. While Western elites go through the motions of Holocaust remembrance, their actions – supporting the genocidal Palestinian Arabs with money and advocacy seem to amount to me – a son of a survivor of Auschwitz, who lost his parents and then 8-year-old sister to the gas chambers – to amount to a type of Second Holocaust of the Jews.

I wrote about this issue in my novel, The Second Catastrophe: A Novel About a Book and its Author (Mantua Books, 2003). I make this unpopular allegation because those who sit silently during a genocide, even one where Jews now have our homeland back, are morally culpable for assisting the perpetrators.

From the anti-Israel obsession of the United Nations and its so-called Human Rights Council whose members comprise some of the worst abusers of human rights to our universities where Jews who are proud of our homeland, or who are identifiably Jewish by their dress, are now clearly unwelcome on campuses. Palestiniann Arabs know that their incitement to genocide is backed by so much of academia, media, progressive NGOs and some Churches, and are thus encouraged

Every time you hear someone say that a Palestinian Arab terrorist acted alone, please remember who the co-conspirators are, and how support is given to their evil project.

Muslim Who Stabbed Cops in Times Square Wanted to Target ‘a Uniformed Officer’ He Considered An ‘Enemy of the State’

Which state? The New York Post, as hopeless as the rest of the establishment media, shows no curiosity about this question. But clearly Trevor Bickford, after he converted to Islam, was no stalwart American patriot. He wanted to target a uniformed officer as an enemy of the Islamic state.

Machete attack suspect Trevor Bickford targeted NYPD as ‘enemy of the state:’ sources

by Joe Marino, Larry Celona and Jorge Fitz-Gibbon, New York Post, January 1, 2023:

The 19-year-old alleged Islamic radical suspected in the New Year’s Eve machete attack on NYPD cops had specifically sought to target “a uniformed officer” or someone armed because he believed them to be an “enemy of the state,” sources told The Post on Sunday.

Trevor Bickford, of Wells, Maine, allegedly went to Midtown on Saturday night to assault police officers or “someone with a gun,” the sources said he told the feds after his arrest.

The suspect allegedly said he’d hatched the plot as recently as Friday, according to sources.

Bickford “found religion” after his father’s overdose death in 2018 and became radicalized as recently as a month ago, according to sources.

He was already on an FBI terrorism watchlist after his mother and aunt tipped off the agency about his allegedly extremist views, the sources said.

The attacker was a “lone wolf” who did not appear to be affiliated with any particular Islamic extremist group, but noted the investigation is still active and ongoing with cops combing through his cellphone and computer, the sources said.

He apparently had planned to travel to Afghanistan to join Islamic militants, according to sources — but instead traveled to New York alone, arriving on Dec. 29, and was staying at the Bowery Mission….

Video Compilation: Hamas-linked CAIR’s TV Attacks for 2022

2022 was an off-year for the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

It had several subpar months, and was only on TV 313 times in 2022.

However, the severity of its TV attacks continues to increase.

2022 saw 30 attacks from CAIR on TV. Which is a seven percent increase over 2021’s 28 TV attacks. Which, in turn, was a 100% increase from the 15 TV attacks in 2018.

Also in 2022, someone finally sued CAIR for defamation, in New Jersey. And 2022 saw CAIR adding Hindu-Americans to their list of targets for harassment.

Finally, there are compelling indications that CAIR helped inspire the terror incident in Colleyville, Texas.

By every measure, the continued presence of CAIR on TV is a growing problem.

Secretary of State Blinken to Address Anti-Israel Group Along With ‘Infected With Jew-Hatred’ Activist

The Biden administration really hates Israel.

One would think this would be a problem. But it’s also routine in the Biden administration which, in recent weeks, elevated Hady Amr, a terrorism supporter, to a top-tier emissary to the PLO and sent the FBI after Israel. This is just one in a series of ugly hate messages, the latest being to dispatch Secretary of State Blinken to address an anti-Israel group set up by George Soros and some Hong Kong money laundering.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will be the keynote speaker at leftwing J Street’s annual conference in Washington, D.C., the organization announced on Wednesday.

Blinken on Wednesday announced that he will serve as the headline speaker at the annual conference for J Street, which as recently as last month trashed Netanyahu, accusing the incoming prime minister of “building and bulldozing [his] way to permanent, undemocratic control of the West Bank.” The group also advocates conditioning U.S. aid to Israel, routinely attacks the Jewish state for defending itself against Palestinian terrorism…

The conference kicks off this weekend, with Blinken set to address the confab on Sunday, alongside former Bernie Sanders adviser and longtime Israel critic Matt Duss, Daily Beast writer Wajahat Ali, a cadre of pro-Palestinian activists, and several Democratic members of Congress, including Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D., Md.) and senator-elect Peter Welch (D., Vt.).

Duss, a Sanders ally, has gone well beyond being a critic.

Duss, whose writings have been described by a watchdog group, the Simon Wiesenthal Center, as “infected with Jew-hatred,” has been a leading voice in the anti-Israel movement for the better part of the last decade. His criticisms of Israel were too much even for the Obama White House, which said it was “troubled” by blog posts penned by Duss and his colleagues at the now-defunct ThinkProgress.

The Sanders ally gained notoriety in 2011 when he and several other writers at the Center for American Progress’s now-defunct ThinkProgress leveled charges of dual loyalty against Israel’s American supporters, calling them “Israel firsters,” a term that was widely condemned at the time as anti-Semitic.

In one 2010 posting on Israel’s deadly confrontation with a violent mob seeking to break its naval blockade of the Gaza Strip, Duss claimed the country’s policies are like “segregation in the American South” and a “moral abomination.” Duss is also a defender of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement and said in 2019 that congressional efforts to counter the anti-Israel crowd are a “con and Democrats need to stop playing along.”

Also there is Daniel Seidemann who had tweeted, “Israel’s policies have become so aggressive and unapologetic – defiant even – that even our staunchest supporters, if they have any intellectual and moral integrity – are compelled to acknowledge the systematic manifestations of apartheid in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.”

The anti-Israel program also includes panels such as, “Resisting Occupation: Non-Violent Activism on the Ground”, and “Demolitions, Evictions, and Displacement in East Jerusalem and the West Bank”.

A helpful reminder that the Biden administration is and always will be an anti-Israel operation.

Afghanistan: Taliban flogs people in soccer stadium for ‘adultery, robbery and gay sex’

Sharia, we are constantly told in the West, is completely benign and compatible with Western secular values. Who has Sharia wrong? Non-Muslim Western secular analysts? Or the Taliban?

More on this story.

The Taliban Is Flogging People In Football Stadiums For ‘Adultery and Gay Sex

by Mohammed Rasool, Vice, November 24, 2022 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

The Taliban has brought back public floggings for what the group says are “moral crimes,” with people lashed in football stadiums after being convicted by the judges of the Islamist group.

A group of 14 people, including three women, were lashed in a football stadium in front of a crowd on Wednesday in the eastern Logar province. A Taliban official told the BBC that they were being punished for sins “including adultery, robbery, and gay sex.”

The group’s “Supreme Court” confirmed the conviction of “14 people, including three women, who were lashed, and attended by scholars, authorities, and people” in a statement on Twitter.

It’s believed to be the second round of lashings this month, after reports that 19 people were flogged in a similar way in the northern Takhar province.

The wave of public punishments comes a week after the Taliban announced that it will be “implementing Sharia Law” in full force across the country. Scenes such as the flogging resemble the group’s previous stint in power in the late 90s, which featured public executions, stoning, and other forms of corporal punishments….

The Islamist group’s version of the justice system is a mixed bag of Islamic laws and the centuries-old arbitration customs of Afghanistan. To justify banning girls from attending high school, the Islamists cited “cultural” values, as it disagrees with many Islamic scholars’ take on the issue….

Kevin McCarthy says he’ll remove Ilhan Omar from Foreign Affairs committee because of her antisemitism

We’ll see if McCarthy follows through. Don’t be surprised if they strike some deal and he backs down.

Kevin McCarthy to pull Ilhan Omar from Foreign Affairs committee over antisemitism

by Ari Hoffman, The Post Millennial, November 19, 2022:

Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said Saturday that when he becomes the speaker of the House of Representatives in January he plans to remove “Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar, (D-MN), from the House Foreign Affairs Committee due to her “antisemitic” comments.

When the Republicans take the majority in the House next year, McCarthy will likely become the next speaker, pending a vote for the position on Jan. 3.

Speaking at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s 2022 leadership meeting in Las Vegas McCarthy pledged to the audience “We watch antisemitism grow, not just on our campuses, but we watched it grow In the halls of Congress. I promised you last year that as speaker she will no longer be on Foreign Affairs, and I’m keeping that promise.”

The room erupted in cheers in response.

Since she was elected to Congress in 2018, Omar has had a history of making many comments against Jews and Israel and using antisemitic tropes. After being elected to Congress, she submitted a resolution to the House comparing boycotting the Jewish state of Israel to boycotting the Nazis.

In February 2021, 1,500 rabbis called on Congress to rescind the appointment of Rep. Ilhan Omar, (D-MN), to the position of vice chair of the House foreign affairs subcommittee based on her past anti-Semitic statements and behavior.

Omar has an extensive history of using anti-Semitic statements and tropes as well as promoting conspiracy theories about Jews. In a now-deleted tweet Omar wrote “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel. #Gaza#Palestine#Israel”

In another now-deleted tweet, Omar said Jews were buying political support tweeting, “It’s all about the Benjamins baby.”

According to The Daily Wire, in an interview, Omar suggested: “Israel should not be allowed to exist as a Jewish state, Israel is not a democracy, and compared Israel to Iran — which is the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism.”

Omar also embraced the anti-Semitic heads of the Woman’s March which included Linda Sarsour….

Iran: Christian activist forced to strip, says Islamic regime uses sexual violence against female protestors

The idea is to humiliate and degrade them, and by raping them, to deny them a place in paradise, for in Islam it is entirely the woman’s responsibility to prevent a man from being tempted (hence the hijab, chador, niqab, burqa), and if he is tempted anyway, it’s her fault.

Exclusive: ‘Was forced to strip, govt uses sexual violence against female protesters,’ says Iranian Christian activist

by Annu Kaushik, Firstpost, October 17, 2022:

In 2020, Mary Mohammadi was taken to a detention center near Iran’s capital Tehran. Officials told her that her hair was visible.

In the basement of the all-female detention center, Mary was forced to strip.

“If my hair is a problem, is it not a problem to force me to take off all my clothes? Is this Islamic?,” Mary told Firstpost in an exclusive conversation.

The incident was part of the sexual violence that the regime has been using to suppress female protesters and activists, Mary said.

“During protests, security personnel touch female demonstrators inappropriately. They want to make women fearful of stepping out,” she said.

24-year-old Mary has been on the radar of Iranian officials for several reasons. Born to a Muslim family, she converted to Christianity in 2017.

Christian converts and other religious minorities like the Bahais are not recognised in Iran.

Over the last few years, Mary has faced persecution from the authorities in the form of arrests and interrogations due to her faith as well as activism.

The personnel who transferred her to the detention center in 2020 belonged to the morality police which is currently in the eye of the storm due to the death of Mahsa Amini which has triggered nationwide protests in Iran.

But it’s not just the morality police who target women for not wearing the mandatory hijab or a head scarf or wearing it improperly.

According to Mary “radical Muslims do it too.”

In 2019, Mary was on a bus in Tehran. It was a hot day and she had taken off her hijab. Suddenly a fully veiled woman approached Mary and asked her to cover her hair.

“When I refused, an argument ensued during which the woman attacked me & my face was left bloodied,” Mary said.

The activist somehow managed to take the woman to the police station. According to Mary, the officers dissuaded her from filing a complaint and even threatened her with arrest.

“They (police) were very kind to that woman. They let her go at 10 pm but kept me in custody till 3 am,” she added.

“Radical Muslims can even attack minorities in public because the regime is behind them,

“Islamic hijab is mandatory in Iran even for non-Muslims. I am a Christian but I must wear hijab,” she said.

Mary’s activism and faith also took a personal toll. Without giving any reason, her university barred her from appearing in exams.

But what was more hurtful for Mary was the treatment meted out to her by a former employer who was also a close friend.

“The gymnast training center where I worked was shut down during the COVID lockdown. I kept asking my employers when I can return and they told me and they are still closed,” Mary said.

One day, the activist turned up at the center unannounced and saw that it was fully operational.

Mary was not given her job back and believes that her employer and the university faced pressure from the authorities.

Constant threats that Mary said were from the authorities forced her to flee Iran in February 2022. The activist who is currently living in the US told Firstpost that in her home country security forces “continue to use sexual violence in the ongoing protests.”…

Islamic Republic of Iran: Regime has now killed 185 protesters, but they won’t give up

If only people in the West were this tenacious against tyranny.

Protests Continue Across Iran as Rights Group Reports 19 Minors Killed

Reuters, October 9, 2022:

Protests ignited by the death of a young woman in police custody continued across Iran on Sunday in defiance of a crackdown by the authorities, as a human rights group said at least 185 people, including children, had been killed in demonstrations.

Anti-government protests that began on Sept. 17 at the funeral of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in her Kurdish town of Saqez, have turned into the biggest challenge to Iran’s clerical leaders in years, with protesters calling for the downfall of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

“At least 185 people, including at least 19 children, have been killed in the nationwide protests across Iran. The highest number of killings occurred in Sistan and Baluchistan province with half the recorded number,” the Norway-based Iran Human Rights said on Saturday.

Authorities have described the protests as a plot by Iran’s foes, including the United States. They have accused armed dissidents amongst others of violence that has reportedly left at least 20 members of the security forces dead….

NYC: Muslim gets 30 years for stabbing cop in neck, shooting two others, says ‘my religion made me do it’

“When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” (Qur’an 47:4)

NYC man sentenced to 30 years for stabbing cop in neck during George Floyd protests

by Ben Feuerherd, New York Post, September 21, 2022:

A Brooklyn man was sentenced to 30 years in prison Wednesday for stabbing an NYPD cop in the neck and shooting two other officers in an ambush during the 2020 George Floyd protests, authorities said.

Former Flatbush resident Dzenan Camovic, 23, was sentenced by Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Danny Chun after pleading guilty in March to three counts of aggravated assault on a police officer and other crimes.

On June 3, 2020, Camovic walked up to police officers Yayon Frantz Jean Pierre and Randy Ramnarine on Flatbush Avenue near Church Avenue, screamed “Allahu akbar!” drew a knife and stabbed Jean Pierre in the neck.

Camovic then rushed Ramnarine and threw his knife at him, the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office said.

Wounded, Jean Pierre fired at the attacker, but tripped and lost control of his gun.

Camovic, a Bosnian national, grabbed the firearm and shot Ramnarine in the hand, according to police. He also shot another cop who responded to the scene in the hand.

After the attack, John Miller, then the NYPD’s deputy commissioner of counter terrorism, said it appeared to be terror-related, but authorities turned up no connection between Camovic and international terror groups.

Camovic allegedly told a hospital worker that he was a “worthless piece of s—t,” after the failed assassination attempt.

“I killed two police officers and my religion made me do it,” he told the hospital worker, according to court papers filed after the attack….
