Democrat Rashida Tlaib resolution recognizes ‘ongoing nakba,’ calls for ‘right of return,’ that is, destruction of Israel

The fact that Rashida Tlaib, an agent of the “Palestinian” jihad that is working for the destruction of Israel, is a member of the United States House of Representatives is an indication of how profound the rot is in American politics today, and how deeply the forces of jihad have infiltrated. She doesn’t recognize, of course, the fact that the Arabs left Israel in 1948 because the Arab Higher Committee told them to do so. You can find documentation of this in The Palestinian Delusion. And now she wants a “right of return,” which this resolution includes. That would involve millions of fake “refugees” (for the UN, even the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and beyond of someone who left Israel in 1948 is a “refugee”) entering Israel and making it into a twenty-third Arab Muslim state. This resolution is a call for Congress to back the ideology of those who attacked the United States on September 11, 2001.

US Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) on Thursday reintroduced a congressional resolution recognizing the 78th anniversary of what she described as the “ongoing nakba,” using the Arabic term for “catastrophe” deployed by Palestinians and anti-Israel activists to refer to the establishment of the modern state of Israel in 1948.

The resolution, introduced on the anniversary of Israel’s independence, accuses the Jewish state of carrying out “ethnic cleansing,” “apartheid,” and “genocide” against Palestinians, language that many pro-Israel lawmakers in Congress and advocacy groups strongly reject as inflammatory and inaccurate. The measure also calls for renewed US support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), an agency that has faced mounting scrutiny from Israel and several Western governments over allegations that employees participated in or supported Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, massacre across southern Israel.

In a statement announcing the resolution, Tlaib argued that the so-called nakba “did not end” with the Arab-Israeli war in 1948 and continues today through Israeli military operations and settlement expansion.

“War criminal Netanyahu and his cabinet have repeatedly threatened to ethnically cleanse the entire Palestinian population in Gaza, annex the land, and permanently occupy it. Today, they are extending these same threats towards southern Lebanon,” she said, referring to Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and military operations against US-designated terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah. “As we mark the 78th anniversary of the Nakba, we honor all of those killed since the ethnic cleansing of Palestine began and all those who have been forced from their homes and violently displaced from their land.”

Activists often invoke the term “nakba” when discussing the displacement of some 750,000 Palestinian Arabs following Israel’s War of Independence, many of whom left the nascent state for varied reasons, including that they were encouraged by Arab leaders to flee their homes to make way for the invading Arab armies. At the same time, about 850,000 Jews were forced to flee or expelled from Middle Eastern and North African countries in the 20th century, primarily in the aftermath of Israel’s declaring independence.

Tlaib’s resolution is co-sponsored by several prominent progressive Democrats, including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Ilhan Omar (MN), Ayanna Pressley (MA), and Summer Lee (PA)….

The resolution also calls for a so-called Palestinian “right of return,” a demand insisting that potentially millions of descendants of Palestinian refugees should be able to return to the land of Israel, a step that, according to proponents, would result in the abolition of the world’s only Jewish state….

While refugees are generally defined as those who flee a country out of credible fear of persecution, UNRWA uniquely defines Palestinian refugees to include all descendants of those who left the land, regardless of where they were born….

Ceasefire Crusaders In Congress Go Silent After Trump Actually Gets One

Many of the lawmakers who demanded a ceasefire in Gaza over the past two years have fallen silent after President Donald Trump secured one between Israel and Hamas on Wednesday.

Just ten days after Hamas terrorists stormed into Israel, killing civilians and taking both Israelis and Americans hostage, Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib blasted then-President Joe Biden, saying, “This is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire and help de-escalate,” referring to Palestinian deaths in an Israeli retaliatory strike.

Now that Trump has negotiated a deal securing the release of the remaining hostages and the withdrawal of Israeli forces, Tlaib has had nothing to say about the sitting president.

Democratic Illinois Rep. Delia Ramirez, who in March joined colleagues outside the Capitol to call for “a ceasefire and an end to Netanyahu’s campaign to ethnically cleanse Gaza,” has also stayed quiet on what amounts to a major step toward her stated goal — the return of the hostages and the “safety, freedom, and self-determination” of the Palestinian people.

Democratic Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal issued a statement Tuesday marking the two-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.

“In the two years since, we have also seen that revenge never brings peace, and war only brings more war,” Jayapal said, referring to what she called the “genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza by the Israeli Government.”

She ended her statement with a call for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire,” but has not commented since Trump announced the deal Wednesday — though she has spoken publicly to blame Republicans for the ongoing government shutdown.

“President Trump needs to quit his bombastic rhetoric and work to return Israel and Hamas to the negotiating table to restore the ceasefire so that the violence will cease and the remaining hostages can be returned home safely,” Democratic Minnesota Rep. Betty McCollum said in March.

She has not released a statement since such a deal was reached.

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, another frequent voice calling for a ceasefire, has also stayed silent.

Democratic Pennsylvania Rep. Madeleine Dean shared a video Tuesday remembering Hamas’ “brutal and barbaric assault on Israel” and said she prayed that peace talks centered on the president’s 20-point plan would bring about a ceasefire, the return of the hostages, and humanitarian relief for Gaza.

Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar — one of the most outspoken supporters of the Palestinian cause in Congress — responded to the news by saying, “For the sake of humanity, let’s hope this will be a lasting and permanent ceasefire. While this is a hopeful step, we must demand accountability for every war crime committed during this genocide and continue to call for an end to the occupation.”

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries called Trump’s deal a “very positive step in the right direction,” adding, “We’re all hopeful that this agreement will be finalized, that the hostages will be released in a matter of days and returned home to their loved ones.”

The offices of the lawmakers did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller’s request for comment.

The Notorious Muslim Cleric Siraj Wahhaj and Zohran Mamdani

Among the admirers and supporters of Zohran Mamdani — such people as Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Linda Sarsour — we can add the name Siraj Wahhaj, an Islamic supremacist who has contributed his financial mite to a PAC supporting Mamdani. A super PAC supporting Zohran Mamdani’s campaign for New York City mayor accepted $1,000 from a Muslim cleric linked to the architects of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and other terrorist plots.

Imam Siraj Wahhaj donated to the super PAC Unity and Justice Fund in May, days before it funneled most of its money to a PAC exclusively supporting Mamdani for mayor, campaign finance records show.

Wahhaj has called for an Islamic state in America, and Mary Jo White, formerly the Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, named him among involved people who are “unindicted persons” in the trial of a terror plot mastermind praised by Wahhaj as “a strong preacher of Islam.” White’s memo also said that the people on that list “may be alleged as co-conspirators,” but Wahhaj was never charged.

Unity and Justice Fund, Mamdani’s campaign and Wahhaj, who leads the Brooklyn-based mosque Masjid At-Taqwa, did not respond to multiple requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation. Wahhaj has denied any involvement in criminal conspiracies since the trial and called the FBI and CIA “the real terrorists.”

Three children of Wahhaj also received life sentences in 2024 on terrorism, kidnapping and conspiracy to murder charges for organizing a jihadist training compound in New Mexico used to plot attacks against the U.S. government, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ). Wahhaj told the press that he helped police find the training compound by reporting its location to the authorities.

In 1995, prosecutors named the imam among dozens “who may be alleged to be co-conspirators” in the trial of several men convicted of planning a terrorism campaign that included the first World Trade Center attack, court records show. The 1993 bombing killed six people and injured more than a thousand others, while the other violent plans were thwarted. Al Qaeda terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers eight years later in the 9/11 attacks.

Defense lawyers used Wahhaj in the 1995 case as a character witness for Omar Abdel-Rahman, a cleric who later served a life sentence, according to media reports and court documents. Prosecutors said Abdel-Rahman, commonly known as “the Blind Sheikh,” helped orchestrate plans to murder hundreds of Americans, attack a U.S. military installation and assassinate Egypt’s then-president. Several people connected to the World Trade Center bombing attended or visited Wahhaj’s Brooklyn mosque around the time of the massacre. Abdel-Rahman died in 2017.

Wahhaj testified that he had met Abdel-Rahman on multiple occasions and called him a “respected scholar.” By that time, Abdel-Rahman had already been a founder and spiritual leader of an Egyptian militant group that the State Department later designated a terrorist organization.

“He has memorized the many statements of Prophet Mohammed, peace and blessings be upon him,” Wahhaj said in court. “And he is bold, as a strong preacher of Islam.”

Those statements included such remarks by Muhammad, found In the “reliable” (sahih) collections of hadith, as “war is deceit” and “I have been made victorious through terror.”

Wahhaj has long drawn controversy by advocating for America’s form of government to end.

“In time, this so-called democracy will crumble, and there will be nothing. And the only thing that will remain will be Islam,” Wahhaj once said in a sermon, according to The Wall Street Journal….

Mamdani has seen widespread support from the left’s pro-Palestinian factions over his stances on Middle East conflicts. Voices on the left and the right criticized him since June for refusing to disavow the phrase “globalize the intifada,” which activists have made into a rallying cry despite it historically being tied to terrorism against Jews. Mamdani said the slogan symbolized “a desperate desire for equality.”…

As everyone, including Zohran Mamdani, well knows, the slogan “globalize the intifada” does not express a “desperate desire for equality.” The word “intifada”a refers to two campaigns of mass murdering of Israeli men, women, and children, carried out by Palestinian terrorists, that resulted in the deaths of more than one thousand Israelis. The first intifada lasted from 1987 to 1990, and the much deadlier second intifada lasted from 2000 to 2005. To “globalize the intifada” means to carry out attacks on Jews not just in Israel, but around the globe. That slogan expresses not a “desire for equality,” as Mamdani absurdly maintains, but rather, urges its hearers to take part in the mass killing of Jews — that is, a “genocide.” Yet Mamdani continues to defend that call to “globalize the intifada,” and tries to mislead the public as to the phrase’s real meaning.

Would Zohran Mamdani care to explain why Siraj Wahhaj, a Muslim cleric with ties to terrorism, who has called for the downfall of the American government, a man with three of his children now serving life sentences for their terrorist-related activities, would want to support him? Will he denounce Wahhaj, and demand that his donation to the Unity and Justice Fund, a PAC that exists only to support Mamdani, be returned to Siraj Wahhaj? No, of course not.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib Held Event With Group That Hailed D.C. Terror Attack

“I chant death to America every day.”

We need to deal with the fact that we have terrorists not just in this country, but in Congress.

In today’s article on the D.C. terrorist attack by a radical leftist who murdered a Jewish couple and seriously wounded two others outside the Capital Jewish Museum, I pointed out what the media did not, that anti-Israel groups, including those involved in many of the protests, hailed the attack.

Palestine Action US, which currently uses the Jihadist name ‘Unity of Fields’, distributed an illustrated version of the D.C. killer’s manifesto under his headline of “Escalate for Gaza”. It described the murder of a Jewish couple attending an event at a Jewish museum as “the rightful execution of the two nazi pigs” and hailed “the resistance that Elias will inspire.“

Rep. Rashida Tlaib had previously held an anti-Israel event featuring Palestine Action US, the Campaign for Palestinian Rights, Jewish Voice for Peace and the Islamist group EMGAGE.

Palestine Action US was one of the members of the ANSWER coalition in the protests organized by the Party for Socialism and Liberation where Elias Rodriguez, the D.C. terrorism, had been an activist for years.

Palestine Action US has been funded in part by a COX heir.

James “Fergie” Chambers, an estranged Cox family heir, is using his trust fund fortune to bankroll what one law enforcement official describes as “an alarming Palestinian action group”…

“I chant death to America every day. Imperialism is the death of humanity,” Chambers tells Los Angeles.

“Israel does not deserve to exist,” he says. “It is a false state propped up by the west.”

“We have made absolutely zero threats to anyone’s well being or personal safety,” he says. “We are doing this in opposition to mass murder. Some of my comrades might break things, but we are not violent.”

So much for “we are not violent”.

It’s time to crack down on domestic terrorists, their funders and their backers who have decided to imitate their comrades in Afghanistan, Iraq and Gaza.

Rashida Tlaib, Other House Dems Refuse To Condemn Attacks On Tesla Dealerships

Some Democratic lawmakers on Tuesday refused to answer questions concerning whether or not they condemn the recent string of violent attacks targeting Tesla dealerships.

Tesla dealerships and charging stations across the nation have been targeted by vandals in recent weeks amid ongoing backlash against Elon Musk due to his ties to President Donald Trump, as well as his attempts to eliminate unnecessary spending and reduce waste at federal agencies as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Several congressional Democrats have publicly criticized Musk and Tesla in recent weeks, including Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who claimed in a Feb. 7 post on X that Musk is an “unelected billionaire” who is “dismantling our democracy.”

Tlaib on Tuesday refused to answer a question from Daily Caller News Foundation reporter Myles Morell about whether or not she condemns recent acts of vandalism at Tesla dealerships, instead asking him, “are they paying you well … because I believe you should be paid fair wage.”

Tlaib also wrote in a Feb. 10 post on X that Musk “is now calling the shots and Republicans are blocking our efforts to hold him accountable,” adding that “this is oligarchy.”

Democratic Nevada Rep. Susie Lee did not respond when asked by the DCNF whether or not she condemns Tesla dealerships being attacked. Lee has previously criticized Musk, such as claiming in a Feb. 8 social media post that he is “a billionaire with massive government contracts and business ties to the Chinese government.”

When asked about whether he denounces the recent Tesla attacks, Democratic Florida Rep. Maxwell Frost told the DCNF that “we condemn all attacks,” but added that he does not condemn people “being mad” at Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi condemned the recent cases of vandalism at Tesla dealerships in a March 20 statement, referring to it as a “wave of domestic terrorism.” President Donald Trump criticized Tesla vandals in a March 21 post on Truth Social, stating that he is looking forward to “watching the sick terrorist thugs get 20 year jail sentences for what they are doing to Elon Musk and Tesla.”

Tlaib and her allies enraged over ‘racist and Islamophobic’ cartoon showing her with exploded pager

This is how charges of “racism” and “Islamophobia” are weaponized against those who oppose jihad mass murder and Sharia oppression of women. There is nothing “racist” or “Islamophobic” about this cartoon. It doesn’t mention Tlaib’s race or her religion. It merely makes fun of her for her unapologetic and open support of the jihad against Israel, which allies her with jihad terror groups including Hizballah. For Tlaib and others like her, however, charging “racism” and “Islamophobia” is the all-purpose response to any criticism, no matter how mild.

US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has condemned a political cartoon published by the National Review that portrays her with an exploding pager, calling it racist and Islamophobic.

The cartoon, created by Henry Payne, references recent explosions in Lebanon where pagers used by Hezbollah members reportedly detonated, resulting in numerous deaths and injuries.

Israel has been accused of being responsible for the explosions, though it has not officially claimed responsibility.

Tlaib, the only Palestinian American in Congress and a fierce critic of Israel’s military actions, said the cartoon would incite further hate and violence against Arab and Muslim communities.

“Our community is already in so much pain,” Tlaib wrote on social media, adding that such depictions normalize racism and put lives at risk.

The cartoon showed a woman labeled as “Rep. Tlaib” sitting next to a pager that explodes while she comments, “ODD. MY PAGER JUST EXPLODED.”

Payne’s title for the cartoon, “Tlaib Pager Hamas,” sparked outrage online, with many social media users condemning it as offensive. Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud called the cartoon “disgusting” and criticized the normalization of anti-Arab bigotry….

The keynote speaker to the event was Sana’ Daqqah, the wife of PFLP terrorist Walid Daqqah, imprisoned for the abduction, torture, and murder of Israeli soldier Moshe Tamam.

Michigan congresswoman Rashida Tlaib spoke on Saturday at a Detroit Pro-Palestinian conference that advocated on behalf of terrorism, honored terrorists, and featured a member of a terrorist organization as a panelist.

Tlaib made a surprise appearance at the People’s Conference for Palestine, an event that saw dozens of the anti-Israel groups involved in the post-October 7 protests in attendance, while Dearborn Michigan Mayor Abdullah Hammoud gave a video address.

The May 24-26 conference is set to have Wisam Rafeedie as a speaker at a workshop on Sunday, the last day of the event. According to Amnesty International, Rafeedie is an activist for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The PFLP is designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the US State Department.

Rashida Tlaib Crosses a Bright Red Line

Rashida Tlaib’s enthusiastic participation in a terrorism pep rally this weekend serves as a reminder that her hatred of Jews and her admiration for political violence has no limiting principle.

Tlaib was the surprise guest speaker at the People’s Conference for Palestine, which was endorsed by and has ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The Marxist PFLP is a designated foreign terrorist organization, which is reason enough to denounce Tlaib’s collaboration with the conference. But the PFLP’s relevance to this particular moment in history is even more important.

The PFLP was created in the late 1960s and worked with other international terrorist groups abroad. Its most famous attack was its hijacking of an Air France passenger jet in 1976. The hijackers diverted the plane to Entebbe, Uganda, site of the incredible Israeli rescue mission during which Yonatan Netanyahu, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s brother, was killed.

Well before Entebbe, however, the PFLP split into two factions, with Ahmed Jibril leading the breakaway PFLP-General Command. It is no exaggeration to say that, more than any other single person, Ahmed Jibril is the reason for Palestinian terrorists’ continued focus on kidnapping and ransoming Israelis. In other words, though he died in 2021, the current conflict is the result of Jibril’s life work.

As I wrote in my March essay for COMMENTARY, Jibril got the Israelis in 1978 to back off of their initial one-to-one policy for prisoner swaps, which set the tone going forward for lopsided deals. In 1985, Jibril was responsible for what became known as the Jibril Agreement: He released three Israelis in return for Israel’s release of 1,150 Palestinians jailed in terrorism-related cases. Among those who were released: Ahmed Yassin, who would found Hamas a few years later.

Several of the prisoners would be integral to the first Palestinian intifada, launched soon after that agreement. Jibril would be as well, organizing a key attack in which armed terrorists used hang gliders (sound familiar?) to infiltrate Israel. The post-October 7 world is largely a world made by the PFLP and Hamas, the latter which exists thanks to the PFLP.

That is the background for Rashida Tlaib’s appearance at a conference with ties to the PFLP.

Even without that background, Tlaib’s appearance would have been grotesque. As the Jerusalem Post reports, PFLP activist Wisam Rafeedie was on the agenda as a workshop speaker. The conference keynote speaker was Sana Daqqah, the wife of the late PFLP terrorist Walid Daqqah, who led a cell that kidnapped, tortured, and then murdered Israeli Moshe Tamam in 1984. From the Jewish Chronicle: “Tamam’s killers gouged out his eyes, mutilated his body and castrated him before taking him to an olive grove and shooting him dead, according to reports at the time.”

The Jerusalem Post details the cheers heard around the room for Iran’s recent missile attack on Israel as well as praise for of other terrorists. One panel’s moderator said: “In the past eight months, we’ve seen incredible images of victory—from witnessing the families of political prisoners reunite with, and embrace their loved ones for the first time in years, to scenes of our heroic people breaking down the siege that has suffocated the Gaza Strip for 17 years.”

Speakers and panelists talked about their hope for the fall not only of Israel but of the United States as well. (The conference was held in Detroit.) “Today, through the Palestinian revolution, see clearly that there is no reforming the U.S. empire,” one said, describing pro-Palestinian activism as a “gateway struggle.” Another reportedly called to “defeat not only the mighty Israeli army, but U.S. imperialism itself.”

Several Michigan Democrats Fail To Condemn ‘Death To America’ Chants

A number of Democratic elected officials in Michigan failed to condemn “Death to America” chants made at an Al Quds Day Rally in Dearborn, Michigan, late last week.

An activist named Tarek Bazzi spoke to the crowd at the rally calling for “all of” the crowd’s chants and shouts to be directed at America. The protesters can be heard chanting, “Death to America” in a video posted on social media.

“The death to Israel is the most logical chant heard across the world, today,” said Bazzi in the video. After Bazir’s remarks, Michigan Imam Usama Abdhulagani said to the crowd, “Israel is an evil settler-colonial State.”

“Israel is ISIS,” continued Abdhulagani.

The Daily Caller contacted Democrats from Michigan’s Congressional delegation, along with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, to ask if they condemned the chant. A number of them responded with condemnations, but several did not, including Whitmer and Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

Rep. Hillary Scholten denounced the “anti-Semitic” rhetoric of the protesters. “I fully condemn this dangerous and disturbing rhetoric and will stand strong against hatred, bigotry, and anti-Semitism wherever it exists,” said Rep. Scholten.

Rep. Dan Kildee also reprimanded the protesters for “dangerous” speech.

“I unequivocally condemn such extreme and dangerous speech,” said Rep. Kildee. “Calling for violence, including the destruction of America, is wrong and should be denounced.”

Rep. Elissa Slotkin thanked Dearborn leaders for speaking out against the protesters.

“Violent, hateful language has no place in our communities, no matter the cause,” said Rep. Slotkin. “I’m grateful to the Dearborn leaders and others for making clear that these statements do not reflect the views of Michigan’s communities. ”

After initially saying they would “politely decline” to condemn the “death to America” chant, the office of Rep. Shri Thanedar stated, ‘The Congressman condemns any chants calling for death to America” after the Daily Caller pressed for a statement.

Thanedar added,” I love America; I immigrated to the USA in 1979 and became a proud citizen in 1988. Any hate towards this great country must be condemned with the strongest words. I am deeply saddened by such attacks on American soil.”

The Daily Caller repeatedly requested a statement of condemnation from other elected officials from Michigan, including Rep. Debbie Dingell, Rep. Haley Stevens, Sen. Debbie Stabenow, Sen. Gary Peters and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, but they refused to share their stance on the matter. Gov. Whitmer also did not respond to a request for comment.

Last November, the House censured Rep. Tlaib for anti-Semitic remarks made by the Congresswoman after the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel.

The White House condemned the statement Monday morning in a statement first reported by the Daily Caller. Previously, the Biden administration had made multiple attempts to bridge divides with Arab-American voters in Michigan, particularly around Dearborn, who have expressed opposition to Biden’s support for Israel in its war with Hamas.

Rashida Tlaib, Maher Abdel-Qader, and Sub Rosa Postings on Facebook

Of course you are not surprised. Rashida Tlaib (D-Khan Yunis) turns out to belong to a little-known group — in fact, a group that has made great efforts to remain little-known — on Facebook. Its members are deep admirers of Hamas and all it has done to smite the Zionist enemy, and thereby give hope to the oppressed Palestinians. But they’d prefer that you not find out about their secret Facebook page. They know that not every one shares their view of Hamas. Some of us even think it’s a terrorist organization, guilty of the worst atrocities, beyond the pale. But not to Rashida Tlaib. Rashida Tlaib is part of a secret social media group in which its members have glamorized Hamas in its war battle with Israel after the terror group attacked and killed hundreds of innocent Israeli civilians last month, Fox News Digital has found.

The Michigan Democrat is a member of the Palestinian American Congress group on Facebook. The group is hidden from non-members and does not appear on the platform’s search engine, though Fox News Digital was able to gain access to it.

The group’s founder, Maher Abdel-Qader, who has extensive ties to Tlaib and has also been linked to other liberal [sic] politicians, has come under fire in the past for his antisemitic social media posts, including questioning if the Holocaust ever occurred.

The Palestinian American Congress group, of which Tlaib is a member, has featured pro-Hamas posts in the wake of the deadly Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

On Oct. 12, one group member posted: “We don’t want to throw you in the sea…we want you to ride it back from where you came.” The message was accompanied by a picture of an elderly Israeli woman and a Hamas fighter holding her captive.

On Oct. 19, another group member wrote about the “achievements” of the “resistance in Northern occupied Palestine,” including dozens of dead Israeli soldiers. The post included a picture of a Hamas fighter.

A pile of corpses, as long as they are dead Israelis, does a Palestinian heart good — if that heart belongs to Rashida Tlaib or to her friends and supporters, including the sinister Maher Abdel-Qader.

“Since yesterday I have been attached to the TV watching the news,” one group member posted on Oct. 10, addressing the “American Media” and saying, “You, and the people directing you, are the problem, you created it almost 100 years ago, made it official 75 years ago and you have been feeding its flam[sic] ever since.”

“You consider Hamas a terrorist organization and I am not going to argue with you at the same time you have been broadcasting that they have been killing women and children, guess that is what terrorists do at the same time no mention to [sic[the killing of Palestinian women, children and entire families killed on a daily basses (sic) by the [peace-loving] state of Israel using American gifts of weapons and jet fighters.”

Hamas is a recognized terrorist organization that deliberately targets Israeli civilians, including women and children. It also puts its own civilians in danger, by placing its weapons, its rocket launchers, its command-and-control centers, its combatants, in and around civilian structures. The IDF, by contrast, makes enormous efforts to avoid harming civilians; it is as eager to minimize harm to civilians as Hamas is to maximize the harm it causes to both Israeli and Palestinian civilians.

The IDF minimizes civilian casualties in three ways.

First, it has tried, with great success, to empty out northern Gaza of its civilian population, where most of the heavy fighting is taking place. It wants the people of northern Gaza to move to relative safety in the south; the IDF has secured, for their safety, two corridors running north-south: Salah al-Din Street runs right through the middle of Gaza, and Al-Rashid Street is a coastal road. In order to persuade Gazans to move to the south, the IDF dropped 1.5 million leaflets, warning them of the dangers of remaining in the north. More than 800,000 Gazans have now moved south, trusting the IDF’s advice, and ignoring Hamas, which has tried to keep them in the north, and has even killed some Gazans who were attempting to flee southward in order to discourage others from fleeing.

Second, whenever the IDF targets a building, such as a school, a hospital, a mosque, an apartment building, where civilians may be inside, it first warns the inhabitants of an impending strike, giving them precise instructions as to how long they have to leave, by messaging, telephoning, leafletting, and use of the “knock-on-the-roof” technique. Of course, in warning civilians, it also warns Hamas. operatives who may then escape. No other army in the world warns its enemies that an attack is imminent. This is why British Colonel Richard Kemp describes the IDF as “the most moral army in the world.”

Third, Israeli pilots will call off an airstrike, if they believe the potential harm to civilians, who may have been spotted at the last minute, is too great.

But let’s get back to the sub rosa postings on the Facebook page of the Palestinian American Congress:

Yesterday I didn’t see Hamas I saw the grand kids (sic) of the refugees that ethnically cleansed from their homeland attacking the grand kids (sic) of the colonists whom sent them to diaspora,” they later wrote.

Several members have also posted pro-Hamas messages and pictures this year before the attacks.

Tlaib became a member of the group six years ago and posted in it during her 2018 congressional campaign. The following year, she came under fire after a report in the Daily Caller News Foundation revealed her membership and the slew of antisemitic posts in the group.

Tlaib is the only Palestinian American in Congress and has faced scrutiny over her comments after Hamas’ bloody invasion and the ensuing war. In a largely symbolic gesture, the House of Representatives voted to censure her in a 234-188 vote last week as a formal public rebuke of her most recent anti-Israel comments made in the wake of the Jewish nation’s battle against the terror group. Her congressional office did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Tlaib has a long history with Abdel-Qader, the founder of the Palestinian American Congress group, who has repeatedly promoted antisemitic conspiracy theories over the years. He previously shared a video that called Jews “satanic” and questioned whether 6 million of them had died in the Holocaust. He later walked back those comments.

If you repost a video that calls Jews “satanic,” you are endorsing such anitsemitism; if you question the existence, or the number of victims, of the Holocaust and then, when caught out, hem and haw and suggest that well, maybe there were some — but most assuredly not six million — victims of the Holocaust, but there is “still some disagreement” over its size, then you are a Holocaust denier. And if you befriend such a person, as Rashida Tlaib did with Maher Abdel-Qader, to whom she even gave an award — a “medal” — in recognition of his help in her campaign, then it is reasonable to assume that you, too, hold such views unless, of course, you make crystal clear that you do not share them. Tlaib has done no such thing; she has refused to denounce Hamas and continues to embrace Maher Abdel-Qader, her loyal supporter, who not only contributed to her campaign but raised other sums for her; she has given no hint that she disagrees either with his view of Jews as “satanic” or with his Holocaust denial.

Abdel-Qader has participated in several fundraising events with Tlaib over the years and has also appeared in several pictures with her posted to social media accounts.

The Palestinian activist has not only been a key fundraiser for Tlaib, including personally donating at least $6,500 to her campaign since 2018, but he was also the chairman of her finance committee during her 2018 congressional campaign….

For example, on Oct. 19, Abdel-Qader posted: “Israeli Nazis air strike (sic) on Ahli Arab Hospital killed more than 500 people stop the massacre now.”

In reality, a failed rocket launch from the Palestinian side was responsible for hitting the hospital. Despite this, Tlaib and others repeated the falsehood that Israelis struck it, even after reports had shown that was not the case.

Three corrections to the correction just above:

1. The “Palestinian side” responsible for launching the missile that misfired was Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
2. The missile that misfired did not hit the hospital, but the parking lot outside the hospital.
3. There were not “500 people” killed, but between “10 and 50.”

This is not Israel’s version of events. It has been confirmed, independently, by the American government.

Rashida Tlaib belongs to a group, the Palestinian American Congress, that maintains a secret Facebook account. One of her favorites at that Facebook page is Maher Abdel-Qader, the head of her fundraising campaign in 2018, her friend, adviser, and financial supporter. Her BFF has reposted a video in which Jews are described as “satanic” and the true extent of the Holocaust is denied. He admires, as does Rashida Tlaib, the terrorists of Hamas, not despite, but because of, their acts of “heroic resistance” on October 7. What more do you need to know about Rashida Tlaib in order to be convinced that she is the most sinister member of Congress since Senator Joseph McCarthy?

Prominent Detroit synagogue leader Samantha Woll was found stabbed to death outside her home Saturday morning — and the public is urged to avoid speculating about the circumstances of her death until more details are known.

The “politically connected” synagogue president, 40, was found outside her home in the city’s Lafayette Park neighborhood, east of downtown, the Detroit Free Press reported.

Police said the motive for the killing is not yet known. The Michigan chapter of the Anti-Defamation League asked the public to “refrain from speculation” until more information is available.

“We are shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the death of Samantha Woll, a beloved and respected leader in the Detroit Jewish Community,” the organization said in a statement.

“As we mourn her tragic passing, we urge the community to refrain from speculation and allow law enforcement to gather facts.”

HBO host Bill Maher called out Democratic Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan Friday night over antisemitic comments they posted on social media….

“Here’s one, ‘Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel,’” Maher said, while not explicitly naming Omar as the author of the 2012 tweet that is now deleted. “Ten years ago, if you read that to me, I’d have thought that would be from Hezbollah. That’s an American congressperson.”

Maher then read a post on Twitter where Tlaib invoked apartheid when discussing the Israeli government.

“Another American congressperson says, ‘The reality of Israel’s apartheid government,’ goes on to say, ‘the occupation and ethnic cleansing Palestinians [must] live with every day,’” Maher read, before moving on to a second tweet by Tlaib that accused Israel of deliberately targeting journalists….

Here Are The 17 Democrat Members Of Congress Who Were Arrested Outside The Supreme Court

At least 17 House Democrats were arrested Tuesday afternoon outside the Supreme Court.

The Democrats were attending an abortion rights rally to protest the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. In several videos posted on Twitter, Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar can be seen with their hands behind their back being held by police officers who appear to be escorting them away from the protest in front of the Supreme Court.

“Today, Rep. AOC was arrested along with other members of Congress outside the Supreme Court for protesting in support of abortion rights,” Ocasio-Cortez’s office tweeted from her account.

Democratic Missouri Rep. Cori Bush tweeted Tuesday that she and her colleagues “put” their “bodies on the line” amid the protest.

“I introduced legislation yesterday and today to protect reproductive freedom. Today my colleagues and I put our bodies on the line—because we will leave no stone unturned in our fight for justice. Bans off our bodies,” Bush said.

The Daily Caller contacted the U.S. Capitol Police about the videos to which Capitol Police said they would be releasing final arrest numbers later in the afternoon.

Tlaib, Squad introduce resolution recognizing ‘catastrophe’ of Israel’s creation

House members led by Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., introduced a resolution Monday calling for U.S. recognition of the “Nakba,” a term meaning “catastrophe” that is typically used by Palestinians to refer to the establishment of the state of Israel.

The resolution was submitted a week and a half after Israeli Independence Day, which coincides with Palestinian commemoration of Nakba Day. It calls for the U.S. to “commemorate the Nakba through official recognition and remembrance,” while claiming that this “refers not only to a historical event but to an ongoing process of Israel’s expropriation of Palestinian land and its dispossession of the Palestinian people that continues to this day.”

“The Palestinian people since the 48 Nakba have been living under oppression and violent racism. Silence + blank checks enables more death and violence,” Tlaib tweeted, referencing the year Israel was created and recognized via a U.N. resolution, and U.S. financial support for the Jewish state.

Tlaib, who is the daughter of Palestinian immigrants, submitted the resolution on behalf of herself and Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Cori Bush, D-Mo., Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., Marie Newman, D-Ill., and Betty McCollum, D-Minn. Tlaib, Ocasio-Cortez and Omar are among a group of left-wing Democrats known as the “Squad,” which has often taken anti-Israel positions.

The resolution claims that Palestinians opposed the U.N.’s 1947 recommendation to partition the territory then known as Palestine into two states, one for Arabs and one for Jews. It states that prior to Israel declaring independence on May 14, 1948, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians had fled their homes “often after attacks by Zionist militias.” It does not make reference to the use of some of those areas by invading Arab nations to attack Israel….
