Pope Leo Welcomes New Migrants to Europe, and Not Every Catholic Is Delighted

And not every Catholic is delighted. Pope Leo XIV went to the Italian island of Lampedusa to greet a large number of migrants from North and sub-Saharan Africa; the video has been seen by more than a million people, and it has elicited more than two thousand mostly negative comments.

Images of Pope Leo XIV welcoming African migrants to Europe has sparked outrage, as some accuse the Pontiff of encouraging the weakening of western nations while maintaining Vatican City as an impenetrable fortress that threatens illegal migrants with huge fines and lengthy prison sentences.

In a widely viewed video posted by EWTN, the Pope can be seen greeting a large group of migrants who had just made their way by boat to the Sicilian Island of Lampedusa. He also prayed at a cemetery there for migrants who died making the perilous journey.

The viral video has been seen over 1.1 million times while triggering nearly 2,000 mostly negative comments because of the Vatican’s longstanding hypocrisy on migration and open borders.

“The Church’s silence regarding the threats European Christians face is already deafening. Combining it with telling Europeans that they must do more to ‘integrate and protect migrants’, is adding insult to injury,” declared Eva Vlaardingerbroek, conservative European commentator and founder of the Save Europe Act, responding to the video….

“It is a painful slap in the face of the Christian native peoples of Europe and all those who lost their children and loved ones as a result of mass migration,” Vlaardingerbroek said….

“My opinion on this is clear: Europe does not have a moral obligation to house the entire world, especially not when it comes at the cost of civilizational destruction,” she concluded.

Pope Leo XIV is a kind man, but too kind to those mostly Muslim migrants he has been welcoming and whose presence in Europe has been catastrophic for the indigenous peoples of the Continent. He was raised in the U.S. He spent fifteen years of his life in Peru. Europe is not central to his mental makeup, as it has been for every other Pope. He does not feel the threat of a demographically triumphant Islam’s transformation of Europe that Eva Vlaardingerbroek feels, and the late Pope Benedict felt, and tens of millions of Europeans who have now awakened to that threat, now feel. Perhaps he will at least give Cardinal Muller’s warning his attention. One does not expect. One hopes.

Denmark’s Immigration Minister Morten Bødskov rightly has concerns about creeping Islamization in his country, as should every infidel country, given the expansionary character of the Sharia. At the same time, he also has concerns about whether banning the bellowing of the adhan over loudspeakers is “compatible with Denmark’s constitutional protections for religious freedom.”

The Sharia is not compatible with Western laws, as it is based on Islamic supremacy.

In the recent Jihad Watch post, Canada: Muslim call to prayer blares out in downtown Regina, the capital of Saskatchewan, I wrote:

The adhan is particularly disruptive at dawn before sunrise. It translates to this:

Allahu akbar (Allah is greater)

I bear witness there is none worthy of worship except Allah

I bear witness Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah

Come to prayer

Come to success

Allahu akbar (Allah is greater)

There is none worthy of worship except Allah

The adhan, when it is broadcast over loudspeakers, is not just a blaring public summons to ensure that every Muslim (and non-Muslim) can hear it, over and above all other sounds, it’s a declaration of supremacy, both in its content and in its sheer volume; especially in infidel lands.

Even in Saudi Arabia, “families had been complaining that competing speakers were keeping their children awake.” And so Saudi Arabia defended an order in 2021 to turn down the volume of the adhan.

Islam calls for violence against disbelievers in conquest; it promotes supremacy over infidels, male supremacy over females, wife-beating, female coverings from head to toe (lest women be abused), sex slavery, child marriage, murder of gays, and the list goes on to include myriads of verses that are incompatible with human rights and Western values. Would permitting all of this fall under the banner of religious freedom? Obviously not. Neither does waking up a neighborhood in the early hours for the provocative, supremacist, and loud declaration that Allah is greater than every deity.

Denmark is planning to ban the Islamic call to prayer, with the country’s immigration minister claiming parts of the nation risk sounding like ‘a suburb of Islamabad’.

Morten Bødskov said the government would reopen an investigation into whether the Muslim call to prayer can be outlawed nationwide, arguing that what he described as creeping ‘Islamisation’ was taking up too much public space.

‘The call to prayer should not be heard over Danish rooftops,’ the Social Democrat minister told Danish news agency Ritzau.

‘It has no place in Denmark, and you shouldn’t be in any doubt whether you’ve ended up in a suburb of Islamabad when you walk around Denmark.’

The Adhan, the Islamic call to prayer, is traditionally broadcast five times a day to summon worshippers to mosques, often through loudspeakers mounted on minarets.

Bødskov’s proposal marks the third attempt by a Danish immigration minister to establish a legal framework for banning the practice, following similar efforts in 2020 and 2025.

Parts of Denmark already restrict public calls to prayer. In Copenhagen, strict local noise regulations effectively prevent mosques from broadcasting the Adhan through loudspeakers.

The minister said an investigation would examine whether a nationwide ban could be introduced while remaining compatible with Denmark’s constitutional protections for religious freedom…

There’s nothing the IRS won’t allow except conservatives.

We’ve been covering IRS abuses for a long time and while it’s gone after conservative, Christian and Jewish groups, it’s allowed leftist and Islamist groups to go on operating.

This may be the most extreme example yet.

The Justice Department today announced the unsealing of a five-count complaint charging Reda Mazen Rida Sabassi, 38, of San Diego, California, with terrorism, sanctions-evasion, wire fraud, money laundering, and false statement charges in connection with his efforts to divert funds raised through purported charitable campaigns to Hamas and for personal use.

Since at least in or about 2022, Sabassi has used his social media accounts, crowdfunding websites, and his putative charity called Ikram — The Arab Charity Foundation Inc. (Ikram) to solicit donations from around the world, including from individuals in the United States and New York. In his online fundraising campaigns, Sabassi claimed to be raising funds to provide humanitarian aid to people in Gaza; however, Sabassi was actually raising funds for Hamas. Sabassi and a co-conspirator joked privately that they should name the fundraiser after Hamas’s al-Qassam Brigades, before agreeing to use Sabassi’s Ikram. Sabassi worked with the Hamas fundraising organization Gaza Now and other co-conspirators to operate these online fundraisers and to send funds to Hamas.*** Between in or about December 2023 and in or about February 2024, Sabassi raised a total of approximately $600,000 through online fundraising campaigns, from which Sabassi sent approximately $116,000 to a Hamas member and attempted to convert approximately $382,000 of the cash he raised into cryptocurrency to send to Hamas through Gaza Now.

That’s not the strange part of this.

The non-profit in question should never have even been allowed to operate. The paperwork is woefully inadequate and the 2024 filing stated that the “remaining funds were placed under federal seizure due to an ongoing FBI investigation unrelated to the organization’s charitable activities.”

This should have rung some bells at the IRS. But nope. Neither did the FBI action because the IRS database shows that it’s still eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions despite a federal seizure of funds reported on its 2024 990s and a DOJ crackdown.

The IRS spent six years targeting us for writing negatively about Hillary Clinton but having the DOJ go after you for supporting Islamic terrorists is fine with the IRS.

There’s nothing the IRS won’t allow except conservatives.

Now that we know what a sham operation it was running, financing race hatred and then collecting money from leftist idiots to fight that race hatred, the Southern Poverty Law Center’s massive fraud on the American people should be ended. But that means much more than just that the SPLC should be forced to close.

The organizations that defamed, deplatformed and denied service to law-abiding Americans on the basis of the SPLC’s hit pieces should be penalized financially and made to reinstate the banned people to all denied services. The SPLC itself should be dissolved, and its assets divided up among those whose lives it endangered and whose careers it tried to destroy by branding them “hate group leaders.”

“SPLC boss funneled $1.2 million to lover in neo-Nazi group — pair even had joint bank account,” by Chadwick Moore, New York Post, June 16, 2026:

A top Southern Poverty Law Center official is accused of helping funnel $1.2 million in donor money to an informant in the National Alliance white supremacist group — who was also allegedly her lover.

The Department of Justice filed a superseding indictment against the SPLC accusing it of funneling donor cash to hate groups they were then telling donors they were fighting.

One figure, referred to as “Employee-2” in the indictment, is described as a “person who would become Director of the SPLC’s Intelligence Project.”

It also describes how “Employee-2” wrote an article based on material stolen from National Alliance headquarters in 2014 and then paid off an informant to take the blame for the robbery.

Based on the details in the June 2 superseding indictment, “Employee-2” is believed to be Heidi Beirich, a 58-year-old fascism expert who was the director of intelligence at the Alabama-based anti-extremism nonprofit between 2012 and 2019.

The indictment alleges Beirich was very close to the informant known only as “F-9” who “infiltrated the neo-Nazi organization National Alliance.”

“[Beirich] was also in a romantic relationship with F-9. During this relationship, [Beirich] and F-9 shared a house and two bank accounts,” the indictment alleges.

“Between 2015 and 2021, approximately $140,000 in donors’ money flowed from the SPLC operating account … and was ultimately deposited into the joint bank accounts held by F-9 and [Beirich].

“This amounted to approximately 66% of all money ever deposited into their joint bank accounts. [Beirich] then used donors’ money to pay the couple’s personal living expenses.”

The indictment also claims that while getting paid by the SPLC, the unnamed informant was also raising money for the National Alliance and helping to “carry out its extremist activities.”

The indictment describes how a source broke into National Alliance’s headquarters in West Virginia in 2014 and “stole approximately 25 boxes of documents,” took them over state lines into North Carolina and copied them, before returning the originals.

In 2015, Beirich wrote an article allegedly based on the stolen materials for her group’s “Hatewatch” section of its website. That article, “Chaos at the Compound,” is still available.

The indictment then describes how the SPLC tried to cover up who their informant was by paying a second informant “approximately $6,000” to take responsibility for the burglary.

Beirich and SPLC did not respond to requests for comment from The Post.

“I knew it was that fat, ugly hog Heidi Beirich,” National Alliance chairman William White Williams, 78, told The Post from his home in east Tennessee. He also confirmed the details of the indictment match what happened to the group.

“I think some of those cluckers wanted to get out of the movement and they went to the SPLC for help. But instead of helping them, [the SPLC] said, ‘Why don’t you stay in and get paid?’” he added of the informants….

Oyster farmer Graham Platner is running in Maine for the Senate as a Democrat, and now that Janet Mills has withdrawn from the primary, Platner is the presumptive candidate. And he has a six-percent lead over the Republican incumbent, Susan Collins. But he has some baggage, including a posting on Reddit that appeared to blame women who are victims of rape for not taking “responsibility” for their own vulnerability: “Holy f**k, how about people just take some responsibility for themselves and not get so f**ked up they wind up having sex with someone they don’t mean to? Men and women, you make a choice to consume enough of a substance to lose your self control. So if you don’t want to be in a [compromising] situation, act like an adult for f**k’s sake.”

And then there is the little matter of Platner’s tattoo. In 2007, while in Croatia, Platner chose to be tattooed on his chest with a Totenkopf (death’s head), that was the symbol of the Nazi SS. He now says he was drunk at the time, and had “no idea” what the Totenkopf symbolized. But surely in the nearly twenty years since he got it, he must have found out its significance, yet he made no attempt to cover it over until this year, when it became an issue in the campaign.

It has also turned out that in the past he praised a video showing Hamas terrorists killing Israeli soldiers. Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner repeatedly praised the tactics used by Hamas terrorists in comments made about a graphic video of a Hamas raid into Israel in 2014, in which terrorists killed at least five Israeli soldiers.

In archived posts from his now-deleted Reddit profile under the username “P-Hustle,” Platner commented on a video post titled “Helmet Footage from Hamas cross-border raid,” which showed the attack on multiple Israeli soldiers.

The original video, also now deleted but still archived, was posted by a YouTube channel called Sabah on July 29, 2014, with the description, “Secret footage shows the storming of a settlement by the Qassam Brigades and the killing of 10 soldiers.” The description and comments in the Reddit thread appear to match a raid by Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades on a military base near Kibbutz Nahal Oz the day prior.

According to a text description of the video and the raid shared online, the video includes footage of the shootings of several Israeli soldiers, at least one of whom is screaming as the terrorists attempt to kidnap him.

“Looks like an all around well executed and successful small unit raid to me,” Platner wrote in 2014 on the Reddit forum r/CombatFootage, a discussion board for footage and photographs of past and current armed conflicts.

Responding to another user who criticized the “execution” of the Israeli soldiers and emphasized that the attack would lead to heavy reprisals in Gaza, Platner said he was not interested in discussing the geopolitical or strategic implications, but suggested Hamas’ tactics and actions were reasonable.

“As for your aversion to ‘execution’, a small unit raid tends to be used to inflict casualties and take prisoners in a short period of time,” Platner wrote. “Pragmatically I have little problem with killing an enemy combatant who you attempt to capture but for whatever reason cannot. From a strictly professional standpoint, this was a damn fine looking and successful raid against a superior opponent, I dig it.”…

Which is the greatest scandal of the Platner campaign? Is it that Graham Platner had a Nazi SS tattoo on his chest for almost twenty years, and covered it over only after it became an issue in his campaign? Is it that Graham Platner blamed victims of rape for not taking “responsibility” for their own vulnerability? It is neither of those. The greatest scandal of all is that despite his admiration for Hamas killing Israeli soldiers, despite his Nazi SS tattoo, despite his calling for an end to all American military aid to the embattled Jewish state, that the Democratic Party, instead of disavowing him, continues unembarrassedly to support him.

The fact that Rashida Tlaib, an agent of the “Palestinian” jihad that is working for the destruction of Israel, is a member of the United States House of Representatives is an indication of how profound the rot is in American politics today, and how deeply the forces of jihad have infiltrated. She doesn’t recognize, of course, the fact that the Arabs left Israel in 1948 because the Arab Higher Committee told them to do so. You can find documentation of this in The Palestinian Delusion. And now she wants a “right of return,” which this resolution includes. That would involve millions of fake “refugees” (for the UN, even the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and beyond of someone who left Israel in 1948 is a “refugee”) entering Israel and making it into a twenty-third Arab Muslim state. This resolution is a call for Congress to back the ideology of those who attacked the United States on September 11, 2001.

“Rashida Tlaib Introduces Resolution ‘Recognizing Ongoing Nakba,’” by Corey Walker, Algemeiner, May 15, 2026:

US Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) on Thursday reintroduced a congressional resolution recognizing the 78th anniversary of what she described as the “ongoing nakba,” using the Arabic term for “catastrophe” deployed by Palestinians and anti-Israel activists to refer to the establishment of the modern state of Israel in 1948.

The resolution, introduced on the anniversary of Israel’s independence, accuses the Jewish state of carrying out “ethnic cleansing,” “apartheid,” and “genocide” against Palestinians, language that many pro-Israel lawmakers in Congress and advocacy groups strongly reject as inflammatory and inaccurate. The measure also calls for renewed US support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), an agency that has faced mounting scrutiny from Israel and several Western governments over allegations that employees participated in or supported Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, massacre across southern Israel.

In a statement announcing the resolution, Tlaib argued that the so-called nakba “did not end” with the Arab-Israeli war in 1948 and continues today through Israeli military operations and settlement expansion.

“War criminal Netanyahu and his cabinet have repeatedly threatened to ethnically cleanse the entire Palestinian population in Gaza, annex the land, and permanently occupy it. Today, they are extending these same threats towards southern Lebanon,” she said, referring to Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and military operations against US-designated terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah. “As we mark the 78th anniversary of the Nakba, we honor all of those killed since the ethnic cleansing of Palestine began and all those who have been forced from their homes and violently displaced from their land.”

Activists often invoke the term “nakba” when discussing the displacement of some 750,000 Palestinian Arabs following Israel’s War of Independence, many of whom left the nascent state for varied reasons, including that they were encouraged by Arab leaders to flee their homes to make way for the invading Arab armies. At the same time, about 850,000 Jews were forced to flee or expelled from Middle Eastern and North African countries in the 20th century, primarily in the aftermath of Israel’s declaring independence.

Tlaib’s resolution is co-sponsored by several prominent progressive Democrats, including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Ilhan Omar (MN), Ayanna Pressley (MA), and Summer Lee (PA)….

The resolution also calls for a so-called Palestinian “right of return,” a demand insisting that potentially millions of descendants of Palestinian refugees should be able to return to the land of Israel, a step that, according to proponents, would result in the abolition of the world’s only Jewish state….

While refugees are generally defined as those who flee a country out of credible fear of persecution, UNRWA uniquely defines Palestinian refugees to include all descendants of those who left the land, regardless of where they were born….

The just-published New York Times piece by Nicholas Kristof, accusing Israel of horrific crimes, including the sexual abuse of “Palestinians” in Israeli prisons, with victims said to include men, women, and children, and of “training dogs” to rape “Palestinians” as well, has quite properly enraged the government and the people of Israel. The Office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in a Thursday, May 14 statement that Israel will take legal action against the Times over Kristof’s column.

Israel will take legal action against The New York Times over a column penned by Nicholas Kristof, which included allegations of serious sexual abuse of Palestinians in Israeli prisons, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a Thursday statement.

The PMO, which referred to the accusation as “one of the most hideous and distorted lies ever published against the State of Israel,” said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar instructed officials to begin preparing a defamation lawsuit against the publication.

“They defamed the soldiers of Israel and perpetuated a blood libel about rape, trying to create a false symmetry between the genocidal terrorists of Hamas and Israel’s valiant soldiers,” Netanyahu wrote on X/Twitter….

The planned lawsuit would focus on whether statements in the article crossed the legal threshold from opinion or criticism into actionable defamation. It was not immediately clear where the lawsuit would be filed, what damages would be sought, or whether Israeli state institutions or individual officials would be listed as plaintiffs.

On Wednesday, the New York Times issued a statement affirming its support for Kristof’s controversial op-ed, saying he “draws together on-the-record accounts and cites several analyses documenting the practice of sexual violence and abuse conducted by various parts of Israel’s security forces and settlers.”

His “deeply reported piece of opinion journalism starts with a proposition to readers: ‘Whatever our views of the Middle East conflict, we should be able to unite in condemning rape,’” the news outlet stated.

“The accounts of the 14 men and women he interviewed were corroborated with other witnesses, whenever possible, and with people the victims confided in – that includes family members and lawyers,” the outlet said.

Kristof’s sensationalist charges, including the charge that the IDF deliberately has trained dogs to “rape” “Palestinian” prisoners, has spread around the world, causing untold harm to Israel’s image. Kristof relied on “Palestinians” for this malignant misinformation, apparently unaware that “Palestinians” have a long history of lying, and he never bothered, prior to publication, to obtain a comment, and rebuttal, from Israel that he might at least have included in his piece; he might even have checked with canine trainers who, to a man, have now publicly spoken about the impossibility of training dogs to rape humans.

This isn’t the only part of Kristof’s hit piece that is blatantly false, but it is the most outrageous and unbelievable of his many outrageous and unbelievable claims. When Israel did respond to the piece, and denounced its wild fabrications, the NYT doubled down, claiming that it stood by Kristof’s piece, and by the “Palestinians” upon whose testimony he relied.

This was too much for the government of Israel to let pass with just a denunciation of the New York Times and Kristof. It knew his piece damages Israel’s reputation around the world, and not just among those who are always prepared to believe the worst of the Jewish state. That preposterous charge about that canine corps of doggy rapists, and other bizarre charges, too, which Kristof made, will now become the stuff of approving comments from Hamas, CAIR, the Iranian government, and of course wsuch people as Francesca Albanese, Roger Waters, Susan Sarandon, Rashida Tlaib, Wally Shawn, Zohran Mamdani, and others of that silly-sinister ilk, whose name, alas, is legion, will pick them up and repeat them.

Now the New York Times will be sued for defamation by the State of Israel. How much will it ask for? Let it be Trumpian in size — a billion dollars, or two, or more. How do you measure the cost of such lies being made and disseminated across the globe, to the reputation of the Jewish state? How many more attacks on Israelis or Jews will be the result of those baseless kristovian charges?

Israel thinks that the New York Times will rue the day it published Kristof’s hit piece, not because it will have come to its senses, morally — the New York Times long ago lost that sense when it comes to its reporting on Israel — but because having to pay a billion or two for having published Kristof’s calumny, which is a kind of updated version, applied to the Jewish state, of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, will be painful. Does anyone doubt that the State of Israel will be able to call on the best defamation lawyers in the world, no matter where the suit is brought?

But here is another question. Why should Israel limit itself to suing the Grey Lady? Shouldn’t the onlie begetter of this defamation, the egregious Nicholas Kristof, with his long history of anti-Israel animus, also be sued? Let his days be full of exhausting testimony, both his own and that of others, and of withering cross-examinations, as lawyers for the plaintiff make mincemeat of him, and when the verdict comes down, he who is morally bankrupt will now be personally bankrupt as well.

The troubling ties of the state’s top prosecutor.

After a wave of Islamic mob attacks and riots aimed at Jewish synagogues and communities in New York City that began after the Oct 7 and many of which were titled ‘Flood’ echoing the name used by Hamas for those attacks, the state’s top prosecutor finally took action.

Against the Jews.

Even as she failed to take action against the Islamist mobs waving genocidal terrorist flags and chanting, among other things, “we support Hamas”, Attorney General Letitia James proudly announced that she had shut down Betar, a pro-Israel group whose members had rallied to protect Jewish institutions, accusing it of the “widespread persecution of Muslim, Arab, Palestinian(s)” because its “members repeatedly referred to keffiyehs – traditional Palestinian scarves – as ‘rape rags’ and claimed that Muslims ‘hate America.’”

This shutdown of legal First Amendment speech by the most partisan attorney general in the country, herself under investigation in an unrelated case, was all the more shocking because it came even as AG James had conspicuously failed to act to prevent Muslim attacks on synagogues and harassment of Jewish neighborhoods.

After the Betar shutdown, a number of Jewish groups asked AG James to tackle pro-terrorist Muslim groups like Within Our Lifetime. No action however was taken by her office.

What was behind AG Letitia James’ systemic antisemitism? Some pointed to her alliance with Zohran Mamdani and his coalition merging Islamists and the far left who were responsible for the attacks on Jewish communities. But signs point to the growing Islamization of the attorney general’s office under James as a likelier explanation for her systemic two tier actions.

Attorney General Letitia James had developed close ties to Islamist groups and even before targeting Betar had threatened Steven Emerson, one of the earliest counterterrorism figures to monitor and expose Islamic terrorism in New York, and the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), for monitoring activities by Islamist terror-linked groups. The press release by James’ office objected that IPT had been monitoring CAIR, an unindicted terror funding co-conspirator whose leader praised the Oct 7 attacks, and which has links to the Muslim Brotherhood.

“As we enter the holy month of Ramadan, it’s more important than ever that we show our support for our Muslim communities and stand up to Islamophobia,” James warned in her press release, promoting her illegal assault on a counterterrorism organization on behalf of an unindicted terrorist funding co-conspirator.

The surveillance of CAIR had not even been taking place in New York State, but in Ohio.

But Attorney General Letitia James had been caught picking up materials and agendas from CAIR despite its ties to terrorism and support for the murder of Jews.

Why was James so desperate to pander to Islamists? Her political aspirations have become entangled with Islamic political elements and her office has become Islamized on her watch.

Last month, Halimah Elmariah, AG James’ Egyptian Muslim press secretary, announced she was stepping down to become the press secretary for the New York and New Jersey Port Authority.

Elmariah had previously referred to Israel’s response to the Hamas kidnapping and murder of 3 Jewish teenagers, one of them American, as an “assault on Gaza”, and compared Israel’s campaign against Hamas terrorists to the Holocaust. Beyond Israel, Emariah appeared to adopt conventional Muslim brotherhood positions, defending Muslim Brotherhood dictator Mohammed Morsi and complaining about his successor “who crushed all political opposition, including most notably the Muslim Brotherhood, which he dubbed a terrorist organization.”

The Muslim Brotherhood is the parent organization of Hamas and in some ways of Al Qaeda.

Elmariah claimed that counterterrorism programs in New York City were “spying on Muslim communities”, defended Qatar, a terrorist state sponsor of the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Syrian ‘rebels’: a mostly Islamist movement spanning the Brotherhood and Al Qaeda.

In her departure post, Halimah Elmariah bragged about how “alongside Umair Khan and Mamadou Bah, we led the Attorney General’s efforts to convene roundtables with community leaders, share resources, speak out against anti-Muslim and anti-Arab hate, host Iftars, and most importantly, hire the office’s first-ever Muslim Affairs Director.”

I was not however able to find any evidence of a “Jewish Affairs Director” in AG James’ office.

The position of Muslim Affairs Director.went to Mohammad Awais who was featured at an event of the Muslim Americans in Public Service (MAPS) that included Mamadou Sire Bah, previously mentioned by Elmariah, who had advanced from beginning James’ scheduler to a ‘senior advance associate’ on her team. Partners of MAPS include CAIR and other Islamist groups with a history of supporting terrorism. Journalists have noted ties between MAPS and Islamic groups linked to terrorism.

Umair Khan occupies an even more prominent position as a senior advisor and special counsel to Attorney General Letitia James.

Attorney General Letitia James’ problematic alliance with Islamists go back to when Dabah ‘Debbie’ Almontaser was serving as an early “advisor on cultural and religious diversity issues” for James back when she was occupying the position of ‘public advocate’.

Almontaser had become a controversial figure over her “Intifada NYC” branding. The board member of the Muslim Democratic Club of New York (MDCNY) was alleged to have played a significant role in Mamdani’s career who had also come through the MDCNY.

AG James’ desperate courting of Islamists led her into an alliance with Mamdani, with CAIR and undermined the security of New Yorkers and their First Amendment rights. Some of the courtship has verged on the pathetic with AG James rushing to brag that, “for the first time in our state’s history, January is officially recognized as Muslim American Heritage Month! This month, and every month, we celebrate the invaluable contributions, recognize the rich culture, and honor the traditions of our Muslim communities in New York.”

The invaluable contributions from Muslims that James may be most interested in are not to New York, but to her political career.

Should Congress remove him?

Last year, Edward Alexander Dana was charged over a rant in which he allegedly claimed that, “this is Donald Trump’s way of saying, hey, I can look like Putin” and vowed “to protect the Constitution by any means necessary. And that means killing you, officer, killing the President, killing anyone who stands in the way of our Constitution.”

Judge Zia Faruqui, a Pakistani Muslim federal magistrate judge, insisted that Dana, who had 23 prior arrests and 9 prior convictions, was a victim who deserved a government apology.

Faruqui apologized to Dana, claimed that America is “past the point of constitutional crisis”, and warned that “people like Mr Dana are suffering the consequences” of law enforcement in D.C.

The Pakistani Muslim judge blamed racism for Dana’s arrest, ranting that “the government’s message to people who look like Mr. Dana is ‘be very afraid” and then claimed, “I’m afraid right now.”

“I really appreciate the judge, though, for being reasonable,” Dana said after his release.

After the latest assassination attempt against President Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Judge Zia Faruqui has apologized to yet another Trump assassin.

This time it was Cole Thomas Allen who had come armed with a shotgun, handgun and knives, and had written a manifesto explaining why he was trying to kill President Trump. Allen’s lawyer had complained that the assassin hadn’t received a free tablet in prison and that he had been put on suicide watch after admitting that he had expected to die during his attack.

Once again, the Pakistani Muslim judge apologized to a presidential assassin for having been inconvenienced. “I am very troubled by what they indicate the conditions that you have been subjected to … I’m sorry. It sounds like things have not been the way they’re supposed to … Whatever you’ve been through, I apologize.”

Judge Faruqui, a magistrate judge who had been appointed by Judge Beryl Howell, a longtime Trump opponent, during the Obama administration, then said that he was “fascinated and concerned” that Allen, a presidential assassin, had been treated worse than J6 detainees.

“A lot of people seem to have forgotten January 6,” the Pakistani judge complained. “Pardons may erase convictions, but they do not erase history.”

Judge Zia Faruqui had long worked to sabotage the Trump administration’s effort to fight crime in D.C., falsely describing it as a “constitutional crisis”, contending that “the rule of law is being flushed down the toilet” and threatening to stop authorizing criminal charges after arrests.

It is debatable whether Faruqui, a member of the highly controversial Muslim Bar Association of New York ever met the basic standard for being appointed.

The MuBANY has claimed that Muslims were persecuted after 9/11, demanded the resignation of the NYPD commissioner over the screening of a movie about Islamic terrorism together with Muslim Brotherhood organizations linked to terrorism including CAIR. Some critics have accused MuBANY’s leadership of having Brotherhood links. The Muslim Brotherhood is the parent organization of numerous Islamic terrorist groups including Al Qaeda and Hamas.

MuBANY takes part in the National Association of Muslim Lawyers which as it boasts, “convened experts from CAIR, Muslim Advocates, and the ACLU to host a webinar on the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist designation.” CAIR is an unindicted terrorist funding co-sponsor whose leader praised the Islamic terrorist campaign of Oct 7.

Faruqui had previously pursued Islamist agendas by aiding the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s case against Myanmar. Gambia, an unstable Muslim regime where Christians are persecuted, had sued Facebook on behalf of the OIC, demanding information on Buddhists in Myanmar to justify its false claim that the ‘Rohingya’, an invasive Muslim group of illegal colonists responsible for violence against Buddhists, were actually victims of ‘genocide’.

Some Rohingya Jihadists had developed ties to ISIS and Al Qaeda had issued a statement warning that “the government of Myanmar shall be made to taste what our Muslim brothers have tasted in Arakan, with the permission of Allah.”

Rather than considering the actual merits of the case, Judge Zia Faruqui went on another rant, mocking Facebook for trying to protect the privacy of Buddhist users worried about Muslim persecution, repeated Islamic and leftist propaganda in his ruling, and complained that Facebook posts had depicted “the Rohingya and other Muslims as an existential threat to Myanmar and to Buddhism. In the case of the Rohingya, it [went] a step further. It [was] accompanied by dehumanising language and the branding of the entire community as ‘illegal . . . immigrants.’”

Which is of course entirely accurate, but understandably objectionable to the Pakistani judge.

Much of the Rohingya operate out of Pakistan. And much like Al Qaeda, Rohingya Jihadist groups like the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army operate out of Judge Faruqui’s homeland.

In his ruling, Judge Zia Faruqui mischaracterized a call by a spokesman for the president of Myanmar (formerly Burma) to kill “Rohingya terrorists” as a call for “the destruction of the Rohingya.”

Is it any wonder that he’s apologizing to presidential assassins?

How many presidential assassins can a judge set out to protect and apologize to, how many Islamist causes should he advocate for and how many extremist organizations does he have to be associated with, and how many criminals does he have to enable before he’s removed?

The David Horowitz Freedom Center announced our new ‘Judicial Accountability Project’ whose goal is holding federal judges accountable. Faruqui is a federal magistrate judge. Magistrate judges do not serve for life and can be removed by district judges. But if they choose not to do so, Congress can act to remove Judge Faruqui from his position.

In the previous profile of Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart, formerly Epstein’s lawyer, who had signed off on the Biden administration’s illegal raid on Mar-a-Lago, Congress was urged to call him in and ask him some pointed questions. Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui has behaved unprofessionally, violated judicial ethical standards with his partisan rants from the bench, and appears to have a disturbing affection for presidential assassins. He can be removed.

The only question is whether Congress is willing to do it.

Did Ilhan Omar marry her brother? Did she lie on his, or her, naturalization papers? Did she illegally use campaign funds to pay her divorce lawyer? To pay for a trip to Estonia? Did she accept speaking fees from public colleges while serving in the state legislature, in violation of the law? Why did Minnesota campaign finance officials rule that Omar had to pay back $3,500 that she had spent on out-of-state travel, and tax filings in violation of state law, plus a $500 fine? And what was the penalty after the Campaign Finance Board’s investigation found that, in 2014 and 2015, Omar had jointly filed taxes with a man to whom she was not legally married? Didn’t she direct millions of dollars of campaign money to fund her husband’s political consulting business? How was it that her husband’s assets — ownership of Rose Lake Capital LLC and eStCru LLC — were first listed as worth $30 million and after questions were raised, the next year those assets were reduced to $95,000? How deeply was she involved in the numerous Somali frauds that have cost Minnesota taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars? Oh, so much to investigate, but let’s put all of these scandals to one side, and simply ask about the latest curious chapter in the saga of Ilhan Omar, which concerns her sister, Sahra Noor, who for a few years ran a health clinic, the Africa Public Health Foundation, in Minneapolis. More on Sahra Noor’s American success story can be found here: “It’s All in the Family? Ilhan Omar’s Sister Ran Clinic Omar Funneled Taxpayer Cash To,” by Catherine Salgado, PJ Media, May 1, 2026:

Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) bragged about obtaining millions of dollars in taxpayer funds for renovating a health clinic during her time in the Minnesota state House. And the woman who ran that clinic is her own sister. It presents another interesting development as the Trump administration continues to investigate Somali fraud in Minnesota and Omar herself faces charges of immigration fraud.

President Donald Trump did state that he believes evidence implicates Omar in the Minnesota Somali fraud network, and Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) also accused Omar of requesting funds for a substance abuse clinic that turned out to be a false front for a Somali fraud operation. The Democrat representative is also linked to the $250 million “Feeding Our Future” scandal. Also, Vice President JD Vance confirmed Omar committed immigration fraud. So it wouldn’t be shocking if she had engaged in some shady deals to help out her sister.

Omar, who often likes to be cagey about her family tree (especially the brother she married), has been quite open about her relationship with her “sis” Sahra Noor, for example posting about her multiple times or responding to her on social media. In 2020, when the Africa Public Health Foundation announced Noor was its new interim director, Omar enthused, “Congratulations abaayo, we are so proud of you. In this time of need, I am delighted to know you are in a position to lead on this front. ” In 2018, Omar responded to a complaint from Noor about caucusing by ribbing, “Oh no! Sorry to hear that sis, it’s my favorite part of elections ” All of this establishes the relationship between Noor and Omar.

Noor does not say on her X account that she is currently with the People’s Center Clinic & Services, and it appears that her association with the clinic is ended. But back in 2015, she was its CEO. The People’s Center even bragged on Facebook in February of that year, “Congratulations Sahra! Sahra Noor, CEO of People’s Center, was recently named one of the 40 top young business leaders under the age of 40 by Mnpls/St. Paul Business Journal. She will be honored in a ceremony on March 5.”

Why did Noor leave her sinecure as CEO of the Africa Health Foundation and move to Kenya? Was there some scandal that led to her discharge? In Kenya, she bills herself as “the founder and CEO of Grit Partners.” She provides an advertisement for herself at LinkedIn here:

What the leftist wipeout says about the temperature of the voters.

Everyone is trying to read the tea leaves for the midterms. Democrats have been hyping their wins in very specialized races. And the Left has been declaring that it’s going to finish devouring and digesting the Democrats.

On paper, it should be looking good. The public is dissatisfied. The Left’s program of socialism disguised as economic populism and antisemitism disguised as anti-Zionism should be selling. Except the Illinois wipeout suggests it’s not.

Again, on paper Obamaville, where the dead vote and the unions run everything, should have been a good choice. Plenty of leftists have been elected here. And the Democrat primaries in many urban areas are virtually owned by the Left.

But 6 potential Squaddies, including two Muslim candidates, lost Democrat congressional primary races.

The media and the Left (but I repeat myself) are blaming AIPAC and the newly combative pro-Israel lobby, which sees itself being NRA’d out of the Democrats, is happy to take credit, but its results were mostly mixed.

So what does explain the Left taking a beating in primaries it should have been able to dominate?

Despite all the anti-ICE hysteria, radicalism fatigue may be setting in. Enough Democrat primary voters showed no interest in voting for the ‘podcast class’, the Bernie Brats, Hamas fan girls and the rest of the radicals.

The Left was hoping that Mamdani’s victory was a bellwether, but just like Obama’s win what it really showed was that a smooth radical isn’t supposed to sound like one. Democrats didn’t want. The Bernie people, the Justice Dems and that ilk lost badly in Illinois because maybe radicalism isn’t what the Democrat voter wants right now.

The flip side of Trump Derangement Syndrome, which MAGA is rarely aware of, is that the hysterical energy exhausts itself quickly and at some point, Dems ask what the radicals have done for them. And they didn’t like the answer.

Why? Maybe ask Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson whose approval ratings were lower than the winter temps.

Politico, like all establishment media propaganda organs, persists in assuming that Sharia is merely a set of “religious rules,” and that opposition to it is simply “bigotry” and “Islamophobia.” The fact that it is political, supremacist, violent and expansionist never, ever enters into their reporting. You’d almost get the idea that they’re trying to lull Americans into complacency regarding a genuine threat.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) on Thursday shared a social media post calling Muslims “the enemy,” joining a growing number of sitting GOP members to share Islamophobic rhetoric.

Tuberville on Thursday retweeted a post that showed a picture of New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani sitting cross-legged on the floor surrounded by people that was juxtaposed with a photo of the Twin Towers in New York burning on Sept. 11, 2001. The caption of the original post read, “Less than 25 years apart.”

Tuberville added his own caption: “The enemy is inside the gates.”

A spokesperson for Tuberville’s office referred POLITICO to a separate post by Tuberville on Thursday that stated that calling Islam a “cult” doesn’t make someone an Islamophobe, among other things….

It’s always nice, in this age when half of all marriages end in divorce, to find a husband and wife who get along so well, a couple who can bond over world affairs, and share the same deep feelings about… well, Israel, for one, and Islam for another. Zohran Mamdani’s deep anti-Israel animus is shared by his wife, Rama Duwaji, as we learn from her social media posts, including posts by others that she “liked,” that have just recently come to light. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani spent the mayoral campaign distancing himself from the most radical anti-Israel elements of his leftist movement, but an examination of his wife’s social media activity reveals she liked multiple Instagram posts cheering on Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, assault.

The posts liked by Rama Duwaji, a Syrian-American artist, unambiguously celebrated the terrorist attack, which saw nearly 1,200 Israelis and foreign workers killed, thousands wounded, 251 civilians and military personnel kidnapped and numerous episodes of sexual assault.

The first post, shared on the day of Hamas’ onslaught, came from The Slow Factory, which bills itself as “a school, knowledge partner and climate innovation organization” that “center[s] the voices and ideas of the Global Majority (Black, Indigenous, and other people of color) to share their knowledge outside the boundaries of institutions & oppressive systems.”

The Instagram post shows stills from participants’ livestreamed footage of the attack: first of a bulldozer that terrorists used to breach the barrier separating Israel from Gaza, the second of attackers riding on a captured IDF vehicle. Printed on the former are the words “Breaking the walls of apartheid and military occupation,” and on the latter “Resisting apartheid since 1948,” and on both the slogan “Systemic change for collective liberation.”

The extensive caption on the post laments that “if and when the occupation forces retaliate against this resistance” Gazans will be “punished for wanting freedom from apartheid.”

But what “apartheid” can those at The Slow Factory who wrote the original post, or Rama Duwaji who reposted it with such enthusiasm, possibly have in mind? In 2005, every last Israeli was pulled out of Gaza. It has been entirely Arab ever since. The famous Zen koan asks “What is the sound of one hand clapping?” How can there be apartheid when the population consists entirely of one group — in Gaza’s case, of Arabs? How can there be any “walls of military occupation” to break down in Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023, if there has not been such occupation for several decades?

And what “apartheid” needs to have been “resisted since 1948”? The Arabs who remained in Israel after the 1948 war were not subject to apartheid. From the very beginning of the state, on May 14, 1948, they have enjoyed the same political, economic, and social rights as the Jews in Israel. Arabs in Israel serve on the Supreme Court and sit in the Knesset. Until his recent retirement, the head of Israel’s largest bank, Bank Leumi, was an Arab. Arabs and Jews work in the same stores, offices, farms, and factories. They play on the same sports teams and in the same orchestras. Jews and Arabs are patients in the same hospitals, treated by both Jewish and Arab medical personnel. Jews and Arabs go into businesses together, everything from restaurants to florist shops to high-tech startups. Only one thing distinguishes the treatment of Israeli Jews from Israeli Arabs: Jews must, while Arabs may, serve in the military. One wonders what Mrs. Mamdani would respond if asked to supply examples of “apartheid” in Israel.

Duwaji, who met Mamdani on a dating app [something called “Hinge”] in 2021 and married him in early 2025, liked this post and others using a personal account in her own name, on which she has posted her often-political illustrations and with which the mayor has interacted in the past. She has used it also to directly criticize Israeli policy….

Her “art” is banal, vulgar, and unpleasant. Please take a look at some of it here.

She also produces Agitprop, the kind of thing that lapdogs of the regime turned out in the Soviet Union. It consists almost entirely of anti-Israel and pro-Hamas propaganda: drawings of Palestinian mothers with sad-eyed children, standing underneath a sky where an evil Israeli plane, having just dropped its bombs, is flying away, or another one, that shows a Palestinian child holding an upturned empty pot which has written on it “there is no hunger crisis.” Or a father who had to survive “under the rubble” for twelve hours after an Israeli attack.

Duwaji “likes,” and reposts, the anti-Israel posts of others. In February 2024, a few months after the New York Times published an investigation into the sexual violence that occurred on October 7, 2023, Duwaji liked an Instagram post that referred to the “mass rape hoax” that the Times had “fabricated.” But the mass rapes of Israeli girls and women carried out by members of Hamas on October 7, 2023 were no “hoax”; the rapists themselves videotaped many of them. The paper “fabricated” nothing.

“Mayor Mamdani has been clear and consistent: Hamas is a terrorist organization, October 7th was a horrific war crime, and he has condemned that violence unequivocally,” a City Hall spokesperson said in a statement to Jewish Insider.

Just one question. About Hamas, will the real Mamdani please stand up?

“1 Israeli left in this world would be too many!”

We recently learned that the founder of ‘Hot Girls for Zohran” is a Muslim man whose tweets defended Hamas and during the war tweeted, “Tell Iran we voting for a Muslim in NYC please let them know lmao.”

When asked to condemn his supporter, Mamdani refused to address the question and left the room.

He’ll have another shot because one of his appointees is even worse. The invaluable Canary Mission (you can see why Islamic and radical groups have been trying to criminalize its research work) has exposed some even uglier stuff.

Canary Mission profiled Achmat Akkad, describing him as a Mamdani appointee working as a ‘community engagement training specialist’ for the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

Here are some of his views.

On June 1, 2025, Akkad posted on X: “Hamas is to Palestine what the National Liberation Front was to Algeria, the People’s Movement for the Liberation of Angola was to Angola, and Mau Mau were to Kenya. White people always hate the armed resistance groups born from illegal occupations but never the occupiers.”

“1 Israeli left in this world would be too many!”

“To save Israel, Zionists are leading the largest resurgence of white supremacy.”

“Jews that don’t support apartheid are safe. Zionist aren’t!”

And yes, he hates America too.

On June 21, 2025, during the Israeli and American war against Iran, Akkad posted on X: “The United States is the largest most powerful terrorist organization in the world.”

Akkad posted on X: “Americans are colonizers, and like all colonizers, their politics will always serve the interests of colonization…”

While Achmat is being highlighted now, he was actually profiled by the official account of the mayor’s office under Bill de Blasio, whom Mamdani considers his role model.

“I am a Black male with a Muslim name living in New York City. I am also LGBTQ, a veteran and Shiite.”

Achmat Akkad is a Communications and Special Projects Coordinator with NYC Veterans, and just one of the wonderfully diverse and talented Black Men of City Hall. Read more on Medium.

Nothing says wonderfully diverse and talented like supporting the murder of Jews.

Back then Achmat was listed as the “Communications and Special Projects Coordinator” at the Department of Veterans Services.

He seems to have moved up since.

This is the ‘Mamdanization’ of New York. This is what happened in London, Paris and other major cities. The upsurge of genocidal and terrorist rhetoric urging on greater violence and tearing apart society.

Omar is under a cloud lately for her highly suspicious financial dealings, and could even be indicted. What better time to play the victim card? But this incident reeks of inauthenticity. She appears to make eye contact with her attacker just before he gets up, as if she is signaling to him that the time for the attack had come. She walks toward him after he sprays the liquid on her, instead of running away, as any person undergoing an unexpected attack would be likely to do. And she calmly continues her speech, without any apparent concern for the possibility that the substance could be lethal and that she should go wash it off.

Both leftists and Muslims in the U.S. have demonstrated a strong affinity for claiming victimhood, demanding special privileges or consideration in light of the alleged threat they’re experiencing from “MAGA extremists” or “Islamophobes.” They play the victim card with extreme skill in a variety of contexts, attempting to intimidate their critics into silence and give themselves a patina of nobility all in one fell swoop. Omar’s spraying incident, as transparently fake as it is, is one of the clumsiest examples of this technique, but it’s understandable, after having been coddled for years, that Omar would assume that she could get away with anything, no matter how flimsy.

“‘Staged’ trending on X as MAGA distance themselves from Ilhan Omar attack,” by Charlie Jones, Mirror, January 28, 2026:

Conspiracy theories about an attack on Democrat lawmaker Ilhan Omar are spreading like wildfire on social media as MAGA fanatics try and distance themselves from the worrying incident.

A man sprayed an unknown substance on Omar before being tackled to the ground Tuesday during a town hall in Minneapolis. Thankfully, Omar appears unhurt.

In the immediate aftermath of the attack, the term ‘staged’ started trending on X, with many prominent MAGA accounts claiming it was a setup by Omar’s team.

Donald Trump himself poured fuel on that fire when he responded to a question about the attack saying: “No. I don’t think about her. I think she’s a fraud. I really don’t think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her.”

The attack came hours after President Donald Trump criticized Omar as he spoke to a crowd in Iowa, saying his administration would only let in immigrants who “can show that they love our country.”

“They have to be proud, not like Ilhan Omar,” he said, drawing loud boos at the mention of her name.

Footage from the meeting shows the man sitting in the front row before getting up and approaching the Congresswoman. Just before that Omar had called for the abolishment of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to resign or face impeachment.

The audience cheered as the man was pinned down and his arms were tied behind his back. In the video of the incident, someone in the crowd can be heard saying, “Oh my god, he sprayed something on her.”

Police identified the man as 55-year-old Anthony Kazmierczak with details about the suspect still emerging.

There was a strong, vinegar-like smell after the man pushed on the syringe, according to reporters at the scene. Photos of the device, which fell to the ground when he was tackled, showed what appeared to be a light-brown liquid inside. There was no immediate word from officials on what it was.

Omar, who appeared rattled after the incident, said she didn’t know what the liquid was but continued speaking at the podium…
