A Battered President

Figuratively the term Waterloo means a crushing defeat and is a reference to the Battle of Waterloo, the final battle of the Napoleonic Wars (1803-1825) when Napoleon was decisively and conclusively defeated. An interesting June 9, 2026, article by Michel Benchimol titled, “Israel’s Right to Exist & Trump’s Iran Gamble” poses the question:

The Iran Trap: Waterloo or Victory?

Trump’s Iran policy is the true test of his transformation. He has pursued maximum pressure—sanctions, tariffs on countries trading with Iran, and repeated military threats.

In June 2025, the U.S. and Israel struck Iran’s nuclear facilities in the largest Western attack since 1979.

Iran retaliated with a missile strike on a U.S. air base in Qatar.

Then came the pivot. In April 2026, Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran, framing it as a dramatic victory. Tehran has shown willingness to negotiate on uranium enrichment but talks stall over U.S. demands to limit Iran’s missiles and proxies.

Critics call it a disaster. They argue that Trump is abandoning regime change, legitimizing the Iranian regime, and failing to achieve the doctrine Netanyahu vowed to destroy. Some analysts say Iran could become Trump’s Waterloo if escalation leads to sustained conflict, U.S. casualties, and a midterm disaster for Republicans.

The risk is that Trump’s signature tactic—construct a narrative, declare it true, and force the world to submit—doesn’t work when the adversary is a state with nuclear ambitions and proxy networks.

Benchimol’s analysis ignores the foundation of President Trump’s signature “Let’s make a deal” strategy which assumes everyone, and everything has a price that can be negotiated. And President Trump’s negotiating strategy ignores 1400 years of religious Islamic doctrine that commits Muslims to establishing a worldwide Islamic caliphate.

For me, Benchimol is dancing around the problem and revealing his own bias by presenting Trump’s “Let’s make a deal” negotiating style as if it has a possibility of success––it doesn’t. Muslims are doctrinally obligated to destroy Jews and Christians (competing ideologies) to achieve Islam’s expansionist ambition––the establishment of the worldwide Islamic caliphate. Remember, according to Islam, there will be peace on Earth when the whole world is Muslim. That is not a slogan––it is a religious doctrinal imperative.

The better question is: Can Iran be trusted as a negotiating partner?

History is a great teacher and what we learn from history is that some enemies can be negotiated with, and some enemies must be defeated unconditionally. Iran must be defeated unconditionally to secure the peace for the Western world because Iran is ideologically, religiously, and doctrinally dedicated to establishing the worldwide Islamic caliphate.

Iran advances on its centuries-old operating principles of hudna and taqiyya. Hudna is Islam’s fraudulent signature ceasefire agreement that gives a weakened Iran time to regroup, rearm, and reattack. Taqiyya is Islam’s doctrinal religious duty to lie in the service of Islam. Iran is not moved by “peace” deals, business deals, or any other deals.

Islam is a challenger civilization with a replacement ideology that is founded in a binary, supremacist, expansionist, religious doctrine. Islam’s singular goal is to make the whole world Muslim, including America. Iran is not and never was a trustworthy negotiating partner because peace is not and never was Islam’s goal.

America’s return to the negotiating table to give Iran one more chance to become a trustworthy negotiating partner is like a battered wife returning to her abusive husband thinking that this time will be different. Being out of touch with the historical reality is a lethal choice for nations as well as for wives.

No man, not Donald Trump nor any other human being, is going to change 1400 years of Islamic doctrine with promises of peace and profits to Muslim countries doctrinally committed to the Islamic caliphate! It is an absurdity that lives in subjective reality without foundation in objective reality.

For me, President Trump now appears more like a battered wife who continues to give her husband one more chance, because she desperately wants to be happily married, or like the wife who knows her husband is cheating but refuses to acknowledge it because she desperately wants to stay married. These are flawed strategies in marriage as well as in international affairs because denial is not a survival strategy and both deny objective reality.

In my 2011 philosophy book Dear America: Who’s Driving the Bus? I present a universal paradigm of human behavior that explains why people do what they do. I explain that a state of mind is not fixed. It is constantly shifting along the growth continuum, anywhere from total, infantile narcissism to responsible adulthood, depending upon the level and stability of the individual’s inner development and the strength of the external pressures challenging it.

We are each the whole of our life experiences. The children we once were continuing to exist inside our minds. So, the narcissistic infant; the demanding two-year-old; the insecure adolescent; the rebel; the adventurer; the happy child; the angry, frightened, timid, or lonely child we once were all persist as states of mind. Each inner child is an accessible entity that seeks to be in control of the individual’s mind. The inner child’s struggle for power continues to challenge the individual’s rational adult state of mind throughout his or her lifetime.

Anytime an inner entity is at the wheel the individual has psychologically exited the factual real world of objective reality and entered the historical feelings realm of subjective reality.

The bus is a metaphor for our psychological selves. The bus travels along the timeline that is our lifetime. It picks up new passengers as we grow and develop, each new feeling and each new experience adding another rider. The driver of the bus is always selected from the passengers aboard, and the passengers are constantly competing to determine who will drive the bus.

To understand the often inexplicable inconsistencies in an individual’s behavior, and to understand how one person can perceive us in a completely different way than another sees us, we must ask ourselves the seminal question, “Who’s driving the bus?”

Sustaining our most rational adult state of mind is the challenge for preserving our constitutional republic, because freedom is an adult enterprise. It is my opinion that President Trump is being psychologically manipulated again just like he was psychologically manipulated during Covid-19.

During Covid-19 the globalist elite triggered President Trump’s young, frightened, germophobic entity and now they have engaged his businessman entity. Psychological manipulation is a powerful tactical weapon in globalism’s War on America. And anytime President Trump is triggered into subjective reality it is problematic for America.

For freedom to prevail President Trump must demand his most rational adult presidential self be in the driver’s seat. Watching the President realign himself and desperately try to make a deal with Muslim countries in the Middle East is like watching a fish flailing and flapping around on land. It will not end well. Israel knows it. Rubio and Hegseth know it. And our enemies know it because their social engineers remain in objective reality.

I thought we had learned the lesson in WWII that you cannot make a deal with a Nazi––it does not take a genius to realize that you cannot make a deal with an Islamist either. Why? Because, like Nazis, Islamists are ideologically committed to their doctrinal goals and ideological supremacy––everything else is details.

President Trump used to know this, but like the battered wife he is desperate to give the Islamists one more chance because his overarching goal is to be the man who makes peace in the middle east. He is as desperate as the bruised wife going back to give the battering husband one more chance.

The difference between President Trump and the battered wife are the consequences. The battered wife will eventually be battered to death; a battered president leaves America vulnerable and weakened. I no longer trust President Trump’s foreign policy decisions in the Middle East because I no longer trust the entity that is driving his bus.

Just as the police know what will eventually happen to the bruised and battered wife, anyone living in objective reality knows the outcome of Trump’s Iran Gamble.

The Iranian regime will survive and become even more brutal against its own population, and its proxies will be more emboldened to continue terrorizing Jews and Christians worldwide. A battered president leaves a trail of destruction behind him because a president living in subjective reality cannot protect America.

Retired U.S. Flag Offficers (Generals/Admirals) Traveling to and Collaborating with Communist China

Judge for yourself but in my opinion these retired Generals, Admirals and other high ranking former members of Federal Government should have their Security Clearances lifted NOW (if they still have them) and should be investigated for what information they shared with Communist Chinese military officials.

It has been alleged that most received free transportation, lodging,meals, etc. while engaged in these collaborations.

Several retired U.S. flag officers, including four-star generals and admirals, have been reported to collaborate with Chinese military officials in closed-door meetings over the past decade. EXCLUSIVE: America’s Top Retired Generals Participated In Secret Beijing Conference Backed By Chinese Spy Group

Some of America’s most senior former military and national-security officials quietly traveled to Beijing to participate in a closed-door “Strategic Security and Stability Dialogue” supported by the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF), an organization repeatedly identified by U.S. analysts and members of Congress as part of the Chinese Communist Party’s United Front influence apparatus.

The meeting was billed as a Track II dialogue, meaning unofficial and off the record. But Track II forums are not politically neutral. They are where Beijing cultivates elite Western figures who no longer hold office but still command credibility and converts their presence into political capital.

CUSEF’s role is central.

The foundation was created by former Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa, who also served as a vice chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, a core United Front body. For years, CUSEF has sponsored U.S.–China dialogues, trips, and exchanges that critics say consistently advance Beijing-friendly narratives under the language of “mutual understanding.”

This strategy is not subtle. CCP General Secretary Xi Jinping himself has described United Front work as “an important magic weapon for the success of the Party’s cause.” In other words, influence – not tanks or treaties – is how Beijing seeks to shape outcomes abroad.

That context matters when examining who showed up in Beijing.

America’s Top Generals Walked Straight Into China’s Influence Machine

The Chinese Communist Party didn’t need to penetrate the Pentagon. It built a private network around it, and stocked it with some of America’s most senior retired generals and admirals.

That’s the core finding in Natalie Winters’ new report on the Sanya Initiative, a decade-plus military dialogue funded by the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) and run in coordination with the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC). Congressional investigators have identified CAIFC as a front for the PLA’s former General Political Department, responsible for intelligence collection and “propaganda and perception management.” The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission specifically cited CAIFC’s role in Sanya.

Winters summarized the findings Tuesday on X:

The first delegation, named in CUSEF’s own 2008-2009 annual report, included retired Adm. William “Bill” Owens, former Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Ronald Fogleman, former Army Chief of Staff Gen. Dennis Reimer, former Pacific Command chief Adm. Joseph Prueher, former Southern Command chief Gen. Charles Wilhelm and former Army Vice Chief of Staff Gen. John Keane. By 2009, the combined American-Chinese delegation had traveled to Hawaii, Washington and New York, where they sat down with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Joint Chiefs Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen, members of Congress and senior State Department officials.

The glossy brochures called it a peaceful exchange. What they left out was CAIFC’s actual mandate. Congressional investigators described the group as performing the “dual roles of intelligence collection and propaganda and perception management” as part of the CCP’s broader United Front system, an influence apparatus designed to cultivate foreign elites and neutralize opposition to Beijing’s objectives.

The warnings were public as early as 2011. Mark Stokes, a former Pentagon official and co-author of a landmark study on PLA political warfare, testified before the commission that the Chinese side’s intentions were spelled out in the initiative’s own first report:

“The Chinese side says we wish you would advocate these positions,” Stokes testified, adding that American editorials later appeared with a “stark similarity” to what the Chinese participants had pushed. Hearing co-chair Jeffrey L. Fiedler responded: “Sounds like it was a successful narrative that was placed.”

A 2013 investigation by John Garnaut found a striking imbalance in the initiative’s early deliverables. The American side had agreed to try to delay a Pentagon report on China’s military power until after Taiwan’s election, viewed the U.S. election cycle as an opportunity to shape military relations, and discussed writing opinion pieces to counter critical coverage of China’s military. Garnaut found no comparable list of commitments from the Chinese side. Shortly after those early Sanya meetings, Owens published opinion pieces urging Washington to treat China as a friend and end arms sales to Taiwan.

Politics By Other Means

Inspired by his service in the Prussian and Russian armies in the Napoleonic wars at the start of the 19th Century, Carl von Clausewitz has left us with many famous sayings from his unfinished treatise, On War, published after his death in 1830.

Among them was that the “fog of war” often obscures what is really happening on the battlefield. Another, which is my theme for today, is that “war is politics by other means.”

President Trump has been criticized in recent weeks by the left and the right for his repeated threats to launch yet another “massive” military strike on Iran, only to relent at the last minute in hopes of some last minute breakthrough in negotiations that would satisfy the two major U.S. goals in this war: the unconditional reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to international shipping, and the end of Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

So far, each time it has happened, the Iranians have backed away from a negotiated settlement, either by new drone or missile strikes against ships in the Strait of Hormuz, or by instructing their proxies to carry out attacks against our Gulf allies. (In recent weeks, they have used Shiite militias in Iraq to attack civilian infrastructure in Kuwait, and the Houthis in Yemen to hit Saudi vessels in the Red Sea). And each time that happens, the United States responds by taking out IRGC assets in southern Iran.

The President has repeatedly expressed his reluctance to inflict massive damage on Iran’s infrastructure, all the while threatening to do so should the Iranian regime not agree to his conditions.

I believe he is trying to find the sweet spot of just enough military pressure to achieve his political goals, without inflicting what he sees as unnecessary and unfortunate damage.

But so far, he has failed to find that sweet spot. The regime — or whoever is calling the shots in Iran — responds with increased aggression: more missiles, more drones, and more irredentist demands.

The latest, on Thursday, was a claim by the Iranian parliament that the regime had reached an agreement with Oman over joint control of the Strait of Hormuz that would inflict a toll of between 5% to 7% on ships transiting the Strait that would bring in an estimated $385 million per day to the Revolutionary Guards to oppress the Iranian people, and to use to build more drones and missiles and to arm their proxies.

The alleged deal would also bar ships from the United States, Israel, and any other country opposing the “Axis of Resistance” from transiting the Strait. That designation would bar Saudi Arabian ships, since the Saudis have been at war with the Houthis for over a decade.

Clearly, such a deal is not just unacceptable: it is outrageous.

If you read the international media, you might forget the whole reason we are even negotiating over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. It’s because Iran mined the customary passageways in the middle of the Strait at the beginning of the war, and no one has yet removed those mines.

That’s why there is all this talk of the “northern route” transiting Iran’s territorial waters, and the “southern route” that uses Oman’s.

The historic passageway through the Strait transits through international waters. But Iran closed that passageway at the onset of the conflict, an act of war in violation of the UN Law of the Sea Treaty that should have triggered unanimous international action, spearheaded by the UN Security Council.

If it weren’t for the support that Russia and China have been providing Iran, the United States could have gone to the United Nations and invoked Chapter VII of the UN charter that authorizes member nations to use “all necessary measures” — including military action — to restore international peace and security, just as we did twice in wars against Saddam Hussein.

We actually tried that in May, with the predictable result that both the Chinese and the Russians threatened to veto any resolution against Iran.

Since then, both the Brits and the French have said they would join an international mine-sweeping force, and then promptly backed out when it became obvious that mines were not only still present in the Strait but that the IRGC was going to attack any ships trying to remove them.

So much for the international “order.” And so much for our allies.

That leaves President Trump with the course he has followed in recent weeks: apply just enough force to keep the IRGC on its heels, while not triggering a massive spike in oil prices or spooking international markets.

He has succeeded on all three counts, extremely significant accomplishments.

But the United States cannot just “walk away and go home” if our diplomacy fails, as Vice-president JD Vance suggested recently in his very unfortunate three-hour appearance on the Joe Rogan show.

There is that pesky second demand that Iran give up its nuclear ambitions. On Wednesday, reports from Israel resurfaced an earlier claim by the current IRGC Chief, Ahmad Vahidi, while he was Interior Minister, that Iran would continue to develop nuclear weapons as long as the United States and Israel possessed them. “If they disarm, we will disarm,” he reportedly said.

There has been some parsing of that quote in recent days. One Iranian commentator claimed that the correct quote was this: “As long as the United States and Israel possess nuclear weapons, activities related to national security will not cease.”

Sorry, but in IRGC-speak, that means exactly the same thing.

In the end, whether Vahidi made those public comments or not makes little difference. There is no other explanation for the massive expenditures on uranium enrichment, buried nuclear sites, the Iranian regime’s absolute refusal to discuss its nuclear programs or the recent revelations about Mount Kalang (aka “Pickaxe Mountain”).

The Iranian regime is developing nuclear weapons and thank God they don’t yet have them or they would have already used them on Israel or on us, either in direct attacks or in EMP mode to destroy our electric power grid and send us back to the 1880s, when the United States could support a population of between 80 to 90 million.

This is a regime that has already acted out its intentions to wipe Israel off the map, and has shown its willingness to destroy the entire civilian infrastructure of its Persian Gulf neighbors, including their destination plants.

If anyone has any doubts as to why President Trump is fighting this war, just think of what the IRGC would do if it actually had operational nuclear warheads.

FBI SHOCKER: Bureau Secretly Probed Trump as a Russian Asset for Firing Comey

The FBI should have been investigating Comey. Instead, it carried on his treason – proof of just how deeply and irretrievably broken the agency had become.

Comey’s was indicted on two federal counts of making false statements and obstructing Congress regarding his 2020 testimony on media leaks. He “willfully and knowingly” lied during a September 30, 2020, Senate Judiciary Committee hearing by stating he never authorized anyone at the FBI to serve as an anonymous source for news reports about sensitive investigations.

Furthermore, he knowingly and willfully made a threat to take the life of, and to inflict bodily harm upon, the President of the United States:

He knowingly and willfully did transmit in interstate and foreign commerce a communication that contained a threat to kill the President, Donald J. Trump

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche on Tuesday made it clear during a presser: “You are not allowed to threaten the President of the United States of America.”

FBI Used Comey Firing To Open New Russia Hoax Investigation Using Debunked Information

As part of its Russia collusion hoax lawfare attacks on President Donald Trump, the FBI opened a “subcomponent investigation” of Crossfire Hurricane, treating Trump as a criminal subject based on already-debunked information linking him to Russia, according to a Trump administration official.

The sub-investigation, known as “Oxferd Comma” was predicated on the idea that Trump, “the newly elected president, was acting as a Russian asset when he fired James Comey on May 9, 2017,” the administration official said. The case was marked as a “‘sensitive investigative matter,’ which was generally to keep it off the books from other agents to be able to see.”

The case was opened despite the fact that “almost everything in the FBI’s possession at that point had debunked or ruled out that Trump or his campaign was colluding with Russia at that time,” the official continued.

The FBI launched the investigation on May 16, 2017, one day before Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel to investigate the Russia collusion as though it were legitimate, despite the fact that the Clinton campaign-funded Steele dossier had already been debunked. Oxferd Comma was then absorbed into the Mueller investigation.

Well prior to May 2017, according to the admin official, FBI Special Agent William Barnett (who worked with Russia hoaxer and disgraced former Special Agent Peter Strzok on Crossfire Hurricane) gave a “lengthy interview” where he said the FBI concluded that there was no evidence of Russia collusion with Trump, or his former advisers Michael Flynn, Carter Page, and George Papadopoulos.

“The FBI is opening a full investigation based on the articulable factual basis that reasonably indicates that President Donald J. Trump may be or has been, wittingly or unwittingly, involved in activities for or on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation which may constitute violations of federal criminal law or threats to the national security of the United States,” a May 16, 2017, document released by the White House on Wednesday shows. “The goal of the investigation is to determine if President Trump is or was directed, controlled by, and/or coordinated activities with, the Russian Federation in a manner constituting a threat to the national security of the United States and/or a violation of federal criminal statutes. In addition, this investigation will also seek to determine whether President Trump or others yet to be named obstructed and/or conspired to obstruct any associated FBI investigation.”

FBI Follies: Bureau secretly probed Trump as a Russian asset for firing Comey: declassified memos

Documents declassified by the White House Government Transparency Task Force show the investigation – codenamed “Oxferd Comma” – was launched in the immediate aftermath of Comey’s May 9, 2017 firing and was predicated on allegations that the bureau’s own agents had mostly dismissed by that time.

The FBI opened a criminal probe specifically targeting Donald Trump in May 2017, alleging the newly elected president may have been acting as a Russian asset when he fired then-Director James Comey even though the bureau’s own evidence overwhelmingly showed at the time there was no collusion with the Kremlin.

Internal memos newly declassified by the White House show the investigation – codenamed “Oxferd Comma” – was launched in the immediate aftermath of Comey’s May 9, 2017, firing and was predicated on an allegation that previously released memos show the bureau’s own agents had mostly dismissed.

“The FBI is opening a full investigation based on an articulable factual basis that reasonably indicates that President Donald J. Trump may be or has been, wittingly or unwittingly, involved in activities for or on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation which may constitute violations of federal criminal law or threats to the national security of the United States,” the electronic communication opening the probe on May 16, 2017, stated.

Goal of the investigation was to determine if Trump was directed by or controlled by the Russian Federation

“The goal of the investigation is to determine if President Trump is or was directed by, controlled by, and/or coordinated activities with, the Russian Federation in a manner constituting a threat to the national security of the United States and/or a violation of federal criminal statutes,” it added. “In addition, this investigation will also seek to determine whether President Trump and others yet to be named obstructed and/or conspiracy to obstruct any associated FBI investigation.”

The memo, written by the FBI’s counterintelligence division and approved by then-FBI General Counsel James Baker and then-Assistant Director for Counterintelligence William Priestap, made clear the concerns about Russian influence and obstruction included Comey’s firing, in part because of the public explanations Trump gave for the termination.

“This alternative explanation can be reasonably read to imply that the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation was a factor in President Trump’s decision to terminate Comey,” the memo stated.

Both the Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein were advised that the probe had been launched, the memos show.

The FBI marked the investigation as a “sensitive investigative matter” and declared it was “the least intrusive method to address the serious national security risk posed by the activities alleged.”

But that decision proved anything but nonintrusive: it prompted the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller by Rosenstein and a nearly two-year probe that hampered the start of the Trump presidency even though Mueller’s team, like the FBI before it, was unable to substantiate any collusion between Russia and Trump’s campaign during the 2016 election.

A subsequent investigation by Special Counsel John Durham – released by the Biden Justice Department in 2023 – concluded there was no basis for the FBI to even open the original Crossfire Hurricane investigation into alleged Trump-Russia collusion.

The newly declassified Oxferd Comma memos show the case was closed on April 9, 2019, a few weeks after Mueller’s probe was sunset with a final report and no charges against Trump.

“The Special Counsel provided the Attorney General with a confidential report explaining his prosecution and declination decisions,” the closing memo noted.

The memos are being released as federal prosecutors in Fort Pierce, Fla., reportedly investigate whether the FBI, DOJ and intelligence agencies engaged in an ongoing conspiracy to violate the civil rights of Trump and his supporters through repeated criminal investigations that lacked evidence of wrongdoing.

It was well known that the FBI wanted to investigate Comey’s firing by Trump as an act of obstruction and that such concerns led to Mueller’s special counsel appointment.

Records would later show Comey was fired on the merits because the DOJ believed he mishandled the Hillary Clinton email investigation, and the department’s own independent inspector general would later conclude that Comey “violated long-standing department practice and protocol” with his conduct in the Clinton case.

The new FBI memos, identified and declassified by the White House Government Transparency Task Force, reveal for the first time that the FBI predicated the obstruction case against Trump – and gave it a codename — on the concern the then-president may have been an asset of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

But previously released FBI and DOJ records show the notion of Trump being a Russian asset had already been widely dismissed by agents and analysts working for months beforehand on the Crossfire Hurricane case that examined Russia-Trump collusion.

In fact, the lead agent in the Crossfire Hurricane case texted his colleague the same week that Oxferd Comma was opened suggesting he did not believe the allegations were substantiated.

“I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern there’s no big there there,” then-Deputy Assistant Director Pete Strzok wrote FBI special counsel Lisa Page on May 19, 2017.

Strzok’s text sentiments were confirmed by another key colleague working on the case, Special Agent William Barnett, who would later tell the Justice Department that by early 2017 the FBI had mostly ruled out that the Trump campaign and its various players like retired Gen. Mike Flynn or advisers Carter Page and George Papadopoulos had colluded with the Kremlin, according to an FBI interview report of Barnett released in 2020.

“BARNETT still did not see any evidence of collusion between the TRUMP Campaign and the Russian Government,” the summary of the agent’s interview revealed.

By the time the FBI tried to portray Trump as under Putin’s grip to justify the opening of the Oxferd Comma investigation, it had also learned that the original allegations of collusion came from Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and were funneled to the FBI in a dossier written by a former British spy named Christopher Steele, who was paid by the Clinton campaign’s law firm, and that the Steele dossier’s contents had mostly been uncorroborated or debunked and were part of a political dirty trick.

The first warning signs of those concerns actually emerged in late summer 2016 when CIA Director John Brennan personally briefed then-President Barack Obama and the FBI that U.S. intelligence had intercepted Clinton’s plan on or about July 26, 2016, to manufacture a scandal alleging Trump was conspiring with Russia to hijack the 2016 election.

“We’re getting additional insight into Russian activities from [REDACTED],” Brennan notes of his conversation with Obama stated. “CITE [summarizing] alleged approved by Hillary Clinton a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service.”

The intelligence made clear Clinton’s plan was to “smear” Trump, and it was shared directly with the FBI, including Comey at an Aug. 3, 2016 briefing, according to a classified annex to a DOJ report made public last year. That briefing occurred just four days after the Crossfire Hurricane probe was launched into alleged Russia collusion.

“On August 3, 2016, during a meeting at the White House, CIA Director Brennan briefed President Obama, Vice President Biden, DNI Clapper, FBI Director Comey, and other U.S. officials regarding Russian interference efforts as well as the T1 intelligence received concerning the referenced plan by the Clinton campaign,” the annex noted.

Abdul El-Sayed Ekes Out Victory In Closer Than Expected Michigan Primary

Former public health official Abdul El-Sayed defeated Democratic Michigan Rep. Haley Stevens in the Democratic Senate primary Tuesday, dealing another blow to establishment Democrats and the pro-Israel lobby.

El-Sayed beat Stevens in a 48.5% to 47.5% vote after receiving endorsements from independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and other far-left Democrats, results from The Associated Press showed. While establishment Democrats supported Stevens, the pro-Israel lobby spent millions to help Stevens win.

Stevens has served in the House since 2019, flipping her seat from red to blue. In the Senate race, she supported reforming rather than abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement, implementing a public option over Medicare for All and expressing strong support for Israel.

El-Sayed campaigned on supporting Medicare for All, abolishing ICE, codifying abortion into law and permitting so-called “gender-affirming care,” according to his campaign website. He rejected the socialist label, stating that he is a “capitalist” who wanted to regulate monopolies and oligopolies.

“I’m not a socialist. I’m just a capitalist who understands how capitalism works,” El-Sayed said. “I think government ought to be there to regulate monopolies and oligopolies so that everybody can actually participate in the economy without having to be forced to pay more or get paid less.”

Sanders said in a campaign advertisement that the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and further-left candidates are “taking on the establishment.”

“We are taking on the establishment all over this country. All over the country, ordinary people, unionists, young people, people of color [are] getting involved in the political process and they’re saying wait a minute, maybe the Democratic Party should belong to us and not just wealthy campaign contributors. And then in the midst of this comes Dr. Abdul El-Sayed,” Sanders said.

Stevens received the establishment’s backing, including from Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan Sen. Gary Peters, South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn and Delaware Sen. Chris Coons. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer quietly supported Stevens behind the scenes and asked party donors to support her, according to The New York Times. He said in June that Stevens had the “best chance of winning,” to Punchbowl News.

Former Republican Michigan Rep. Mike Rogers, the presumptive GOP nominee in the race, led El-Sayed by 10 points in a hypothetical matchup, according to a Michigan Education survey from July 28. The poll showed that Rogers was almost tied with Stevens, as Stevens narrowly led him 46% to 45%.

About $80 million had been spent on the Michigan Senate race, making it one of the most expensive races in the U.S., according to CBS News. Around $60 million had been spent on Stevens’ behalf, much of it coming from the pro-Israel lobby.

About 31% of donors who gave at least $200 to Stevens’ Senate campaign also donated to AIPAC since the start of 2025, The Detroit News reported in May. An AIPAC affiliate spent more than $5 million between campaign donations and independent expenditures in 2022, the last time Stevens ran in a House primary.

During a July 28 debate, El-Sayed attacked Stevens for receiving money from the pro-Israel lobby. Stevens doubled down on her support for Israel, arguing that she supported a two-state solution and “long-term peace.”

El-Sayed accused Israel of committing “genocide” in Gaza and criticized U.S. aid to the country. U.S. support for Israel has become a divisive issue within the Democratic Party, as 103 Democratic members of Congress voted for Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie’s amendment to slash $3.3 billion in foreign aid to Israel.

Stevens faced mockery for her bizarre campaign pep talk in mid-July.

“I am gonna be telling the stories on our behalf. And you better believe I’m gonna be doing it with a little bit of joy, a little bit of enthusiasm, a little bit of energy and a little bit of stick it to ‘em. Because that’s the Michigan way,” Stevens said.

El-Sayed led Stevens by a 15-point margin as of Thursday, according to an Emerson College Polling/WLNS/WOODTV survey.

Further-left Democrats and DSA candidates defeated longtime incumbents and establishment-backed candidates in the New York and Colorado races. DSA candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier defeated five-term incumbent Democratic Rep. Adriano Espaillat in New York’s 13th district in June, while socialist Melat Kiros beat incumbent Democratic Colorado Rep. Diana DeGette, who served 29 years in Congress.

China to send rocket launchers to Iran

Tehran is set to receive the Chinese-made shoulder-fired air-defence missile launchers in a deal that could threaten the relationship between Donald Trump, the US president, and Xi Jinping, his Chinese counterpart. The $70m (£53m) contract covers man-portable air defence systems (Manpads). These are anti-aircraft missiles that a single person can carry and the agreement includes Chinese-made QW-12 and FN-16 missiles. The purchase is one of Tehran’s largest-known efforts to strengthen its short-range air defences since the outbreak of the war.

The agreement is the latest in a series of secret deals that has propped up Iran’s weapons supplies throughout its war with the US. The contract was signed by Zhongqing Baoshang International Investment, a Hong Kong-based company that sources told Reuters was acting as an intermediary between Iran and the Chinese supplier. China called the reports “completely groundless”, with its foreign ministry insisting it “has consistently played a role in promoting peace and ending the conflict”. The delivery of hundreds of Manpads would significantly expand Iran’s inventory of short-range air-defence weapons.

In April, US intelligence indicated that China was preparing to sell the systems to Iran. Beijing rejected the claims but Mr Trump had threatened that China would face “big problems” if it went through with the sale. At the time, China’s foreign ministry said such allegations were “completely made up”. The reported deal could undermine the already complex relationship between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping. Beijing has also allegedly sent Tehran chemicals used in the production of rocket fuel for ballistic missiles. Meanwhile, maritime traffic data suggest China has continued to purchase oil from Iran since the war, putting money directly in Tehran’s coffers.

Muyu Xu, a senior crude oil analyst at Kpler, previously told The Telegraph that Iran was “absolutely bringing in more money” since the war. “Our data shows that China’s March imports of Iranian crude stood at about 1.6 million barrels per day, which is a similar level to February, which was 1.57 million barrels a day. These levels are much higher compared to the national average in 2025, which was 1.4 million barrels per day,” said Ms Xu.
Since the United Nations imposed sanctions on Iran in 2006, China has shied away from open arms sales, but has maintained shipments of dual-use technologies, including chemicals to produce ballistic missile fuel and materials to manufacture drones. After initial reports about secret arms deals with Iran in May, the US president claimed his Chinese counterpart promised not to send weapons to Iran. “He said he’s not going to give military equipment, that’s a big statement… He said that strongly,” Mr Trump said following a visit to China.

The conflict in the Middle East has widened this week, suggesting Tehran may need to rearm as fighting continues. Saudi Arabia joined a US attack on Iran overnight after previously carrying out secret strikes against the country.

Ukraine also targeted an Iranian cargo vessel in the Caspian on Saturday, marking the first direct link between the wars in Iran and Ukraine. Ukraine dismissed Iranian threats of retaliation, with Andrii Sybiha, Ukraine’s foreign minister, saying: “Iran’s threats are unjustified and groundless.”

Critically Thinking about Dr. Fauci — Part 2

When it comes to assessing the responsibility that Dr. Fauci has on just America (he actually had a very negative impact on the entire world), it’s very difficult to get our heads around the horrific impact this one person has had. Read Part 1 to get a good start.

As I wrote there, I am pointing out four (4) MAJOR liabilities that don’t seem to be getting the proper attention they deserve. Here are two more biggies…

3 – Undermined Trust in Science

I have repeatedly pushed back when people say things like they object to “bad science.” Science is a process, and the process is effective — so there is no such thing as “bad” Science!

What laypeople are doing is conflating/confusing Science with scientists. They are NOT one and the same!

EVERY time I see and hear things like “bad science” and similar, it is ALWAYS bad scientists who are really the culprits. Nothing that happened in COVID-19 was due to “bad science.” Nothing. It was ALL due to bad scientists, whom Dr. Fauci seems obsessed with being the leader of.

So, another result of Dr. Fauci’s irresponsible COVID-19-related behavior is that millions of people had their trust in Science severely undermined. After all, Dr. Fauci did say that attacks on him are “attacks on Science.” He is arrogantly claiming that his utterances are synonymous with Science — which is beyond ludicrous. However, due to his authoritative position, it likely was taken at face value by tens of millions of trusting layperson Americans.

We live in an advanced society that is almost entirely attributable to Science. A primary distinction between the U.S. and third-world countries, is that we have successfully implemented thousands of scientific advancements into our daily life.

This is one of several subtle attacks on America. Our enemies know that if Americans distrust and then disavow Science, then our societal collapse will accelerate. Remember that our opponents are playing the long game…

Regretfully, Dr. Fauci’s misrepresentation and perversion of Science is not an outlier. As I have written before, almost all of U.S. K-12 students (50± million) are purposefully being fed second-rate “science”: the NGSS. For example, its authors have knowingly scrapped the traditional Scientific Method.

The impact of the NGSS on America is very much like the severe damage done by Dr. Fauci — yet I do not see anyone making this critical connection…

4 – No Accounting for the Co-Conspirators

As bad as Dr. Fauci’s advice was, it wouldn’t have amounted to a hill of beans if other so-called “science-based organizations” did not endorse it. I am talking about the AMA, CDC, FDA, NIH, WHO, State Health Departments, our universities, etc.

This is very much like the tale of the emperor (Dr. Fauci) with no clothes. He can stupidly parade around nude all he wants, but it only becomes a problem when almost every supposedly competent healthcare or Science organization goes along with the charade.

These organizations have tens of thousands of scientists and medical professionals. Considering that Dr. Fauci wasn’t remotely engaged in actual Science regarding almost every aspect of COVID-19 policies (masks, vaccines, treatments, immunity, etc., etc.), why wasn’t there an official public outcry from many of them? From ONE of them?

The crickets from so-called prestigious U.S. universities is particularly telling. The fact is that essentially zero of the 4000± American “higher education” institutions spoke up about the reality that COVID-19 policies had little (if anything) to do with real Science. (See this AlterAI assessment.)

I understand that Dr. Fauci was motivated by fame and greed, but what about all these groups? If their main concern is to be politically correct, then they are absolutely NOT an institution of higher learning! Hopefully some of those weak-kneed organizations will be officially exposed and penalized.

It’s also extremely disturbing (and telling) that almost none of the many organizations that were complicit in advocating unscientific COVID-19 policies have yet to publicly acknowledge their grievous error.

For example, they now know that there are 40± scientific studies that have concluded that Ivermectin early treatment of COVID-19 is 62%± effective. They also know that there are 65± scientific studies that have concluded that Paxlovid early treatment of COVID-19 is 16%± effective!

For example, they now know that there are 71± scientific studies that have concluded that Remdesivir late treatment of COVID-19 is -4%± effectiveWhere is their public acknowledgment of these scientific realities?

What confidence do their actions during and after COVID give us that: 1) they know anything about real Science, or 2) they know the difference between political science and actual Science, or 3) they have our best health interest at heart, or 4) they have actually learned from their catastrophically bad response to COVID-19, so will do MUCH better in the future?

The Bottom Line – Part 2

Again, forget the business of where the COVID-19 virus started, etc., and let’s focus on the REALLY major harms caused by Dr. Fauci and others of his ilk. Watch this video of Dr. Scott Atlas (who was there) to see how most “top-level” people quickly and easily capitulated to Fauci’s unscientific leadership.

Is there really any difference when we ask “why didn’t more good people and quality leaders in Germany stand up to Hitler, early on?”

That said, I continue to assert that we MUST fix our K-12 Science education immediately. EVERY year we graduate 4± million students from U.S. high schools. These miseducated, non-critically thinking children will soon be VOTERS, parents, doctors, lawyers, scientists, legislators, etc.

Since their innate critical thinking skills have been purposefully squashed in K-12, they will be easy targets for pied-pipers like Dr. Fauci.

PS — If there is any remaining credibility to what Dr. Fauci says, consider that when interviewed by 60 Minutes a while back, he stated on the record:

“I am very happy to testify before any Congressional oversight committee. I have nothing to hide… I can explain everything I have done. I will cooperate fully, as we have nothing to hide, at all.”

Major Teachers Union Backs Democrats’ Neo-Confederate Resistance to Immigration Enforcement

Democrats across the country are opposing President Donald Trump’s enforcement of immigration law, arguably recreating the nullification crisis that helped spark the Civil War—and this neo-Confederate trend just received a major boost from an influential union.

The American Federation of Teachers, a union that bankrolls Democrat candidates and left-leaning causes, approved a resolution opposing Immigration and Customs Enforcement at its annual convention in July, and that radical resolution encourages further opposition to immigration law, pitting state and local authorities against the federal government.

Minnesota Democrat Gov. Tim Walz has threatened to deploy his state’s National Guard troops against federal agents. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., claimed federal immigration enforcement was an “occupying force.” Virginia Democrat Gov. Abigail Spanberger signed laws attempting to dictate how federal agents enforce the law in the Old Dominion.

Governors like JB Pritzker of Illinois, or Gavin Newsom of California, or Tina Kotek of Oregon, openly say that immigration law should not be enforced in their jurisdictions. Many states and cities have directed state and local law enforcement not to cooperate with ICE when it comes to removing illegal aliens.

These arguments echo the doctrine of nullification, the theory that states can refuse to cooperate with—or even actively obstruct—the enforcement of federal law. South Carolina advanced this theory in the Nullification Crisis of 1832, and it formed part of the bedrock for the South’s secession movements leading up to the Civil War. Today’s “sanctuary” movement differs in many respects, but it also aims to frustrate federal enforcement by mobilizing state and local power against national policy.

The AFT’s Institutional Support for Neo-Confederate Opposition

The union adopted a resolution on July 18 stating that it supports “efforts by governors, attorneys general, mayors, and other state and local leaders across the nation to protect residents from ICE.”

The resolution also pledges to call on elected leaders to “use every tool in their toolbox” to: ban ICE from sensitive locations, ban ICE from conducting immigration enforcement without a judicial warrant, prevent local and state law enforcement coordination with ICE, and provide resources and training for “state employees” to “properly defend against and respond to unlawful actions from ICE agents.”

In a particularly brazen suggestion, the resolution calls on officials to “safeguard public school districts against enrollment declines… through state intervention and financial assistance.”

While the union suggests that ICE is breaking the law, immigration enforcement is a civil matter, not a criminal one, so ICE agents do not need to acquire judicial warrants to carry out raids—administrative warrants are sufficient.

The resolution aligns America’s second-largest teachers union with a campaign to obstruct federal immigration enforcement.

Why AFT Matters

Americans can disagree on immigration policy, but many of us wonder why a teachers union is devoting convention time to opposing federal immigration enforcement rather than addressing reading scores, absenteeism, classroom discipline, or teacher recruitment.

The American Federation of Teachers has long supported Democrats and leftist causes. Many prominent Democrats, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, addressed its annual convention in July.

The union’s political action arm has contributed to a wide swath of Democrat candidates in races across the country, according to public records analyzed by the parental rights group Defending Education. It contributed $500,000 to Democrat Abigail Spanberger’s 2025 gubernatorial campaign in Virginia, for example.

The American Federation of Teachers “functions as nothing more than a money-laundering operation for the Democrat Party,” Corey DeAngelis, a research fellow for education policy at the Heritage Foundation, told the Daily Signal. “Year after year, 99% of the contributions from Randi Weingarten’s union go to Democrats. She herself held an at-large position at the DNC for decades.”

“The AFT isn’t a labor organization focused on classrooms,” he added. “It’s an arm of the Democratic Party that uses teachers’ dues to advance partisan priorities, fund activist groups, and push policies that have nothing to do with improving education. This ICE resolution is just the latest example.”

Lora Ries, director of Heritage’s border security and immigration center, noted that “the Left has a long list of ‘sensitive areas’ where they claim ICE shouldn’t operate in or near, which would render ICE unable to do its job—and that is the point.”

The union gives Democrats support for the neo-Confederate opposition to Trump’s enforcement of immigration law. So long as influential leftist groups like the American Federation of Teachers encourage this divisive lawlessness, the tension will only get worse.

Who caused unaffordability?

Fear about “affordability” supposedly fueled the new, strident socialism.

Yet annual inflation during former President Joe Biden’s four years averaged almost 5%. It peaked at over 9%, while prices for some key staples rose by 30% over his tenure—all to silence from the Left. (By contrast, annual inflation during Trump’s first term averaged 1.9%. In his second term, it averaged 2.6% in 2025—and may rise to 4.5% in 2026, given the war with Iran.)

The socialists were not just quiet during Biden’s four years; they were themselves responsible for the rampant Biden inflation. They had implemented an inflationary de facto third Obama term, ramming through the most radical and costly agenda in decades under the veneer of that cognitively challenged waxen effigy, good ol’ Joe Biden from Scranton.

So the current Jacobin takeover of the Democratic Party was not sparked by concerns about “affordability”—or at least not if by “affordability” we mean the middle-class struggle to buy a house, a car, or groceries.

Instead, the socialist moment was merely the logical culmination of years of boutique radicalism within the Democrat aristocracy—the ossified leadership of Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, and Hakeem Jeffries, along with the aging Black Caucus, the incoherent Squad, the DEI crowd, the open-border zealots, and the radical greens.

The grandees of the party also normalized the crazy mobs of BLM and Antifa long ago.

Democrats as Dr. Frankenstein

Almost every weaponized scam and national hysteria in the last two decades was amplified and spread by mainstream Democrats: the farcical claim that the Wuhan-lab-hatched COVID-19 virus came from pangolins or bats; the Duke Lacrosse and Covington Kids hoaxes; the Jussie Smollett scam, the “Hands up, don’t shoot” lie; the deification of George Floyd, often portrayed with wings and a halo; Fauxcahontas Liz Warren, touted as the first Native American Harvard law professor (thanks to her grandfather’s high cheekbones); the radical diminution of in-person voting; the canonization of Trayvon Martin and Karmelo Anthony as blameless model children; and the mythology of a 1619 national founding.

Who allowed not just one, two, three, or four million border-jumpers into the country, but over ten million—illegal, unvetted, viewed as an assumed new political constituency, and instantaneously dependent on the welfare state?

Who gave us three, four, five, or even more genders and biological males showering with teenage girls or female prisoners? Who sloganeered about “defund the police” and “no cash bail”?

All this was about as radical as it gets.

The Democrat establishment’s unhinged hatred of Donald Trump mainstreamed radicalism even further and helped birth the socialist-cum-communist Frankensteinian monster that is now devouring its mad-scientist creators.

“By any means necessary” was a Democrat mantra over a decade ago. By 2016, the Democrat leadership and the Clinton campaign were hatching the Steele-dossier farce to warp an election.

In 2020, the Democrat deep state—Antony Blinken, Mike Morell, John Brennan, James Clapper, Leon Panetta, and others—had fabricated the farcical claim that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation, a hoax that, this time around, likely did alter an election.

The Democrat establishment, working with its appendages in Silicon Valley, had censored news attesting to the authenticity of Hunter’s embarrassing laptop contents. (For an account of what the establishment was doing in 2020, read Molly Ball’s Time essay describing the “conspiracies” and “cabals” that worked behind the scenes to change voting rules and ensure a Biden victory through mail-in, no-ID balloting.)

Then came four unhinged years of lawfare: special counsel Jack Smith’s seizure of the communications of senators and congressmen, the Mar-a-Lago raid on Trump’s home, the effort to de-ballot Trump, and the five civil and criminal circuses that resulted in half a billion dollars in fines.

All those perversions of the legal system were accompanied by a host of mainstream Democrats, retired generals, politicos, and athletes shouting that Trump was a Nazi, a fascist, a Mussolini, a traitor, or a Putin asset. Meanwhile, a host of loudmouth actors, Democrat activists, and celebrities competed with each other about how best to kill him—whether by shooting, stabbing, poisoning, beheading, burning him alive, or blowing him up.

Trump supporters were libeled over the years by establishment Democrats as irredeemables, deplorables, chumps, dregs, and garbage.

Even an establishment figure like Rosa Brooks, a former Obama-appointed Pentagon lawyer, called for a military coup in Foreign Policy just 10 days after Trump first took office in 2017.

Three would-be assassins got close enough to killing Trump to draw return fire from the Secret Service—near-death encounters that elicited both unapologetic applause for the attempts and lamentations that the shooters had failed from the now truly deranged social-media Left. Murderers themselves were normalized as leftist icons, as seen in the canonization of Luigi Mangione and the glee that followed in many Democrat social media circles after the murder of Charlie Kirk.

Yet did the establishment Democrat apparat calm these waters? Or did it set them boiling?

It was Chuck Schumer who threatened conservative Supreme Court justices, screaming in front of a mob outside the court’s doors, “I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.” Schumer sounded more like a pink-haired anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement street protester than a U.S. senator.

No surprise, then, that two years later a left-wing would-be assassin turned up at Kavanaugh’s home, along with crowds of enthusiastic protestors.

Does anyone recall Maxine Waters urging the public to bird-dog Trump administration officials and harass them whenever they were seen in public? “If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out, and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Does anyone also remember Nancy Pelosi, then-Democrat House Minority leader, greenlighting “uprisings” over ICE deportations? “I just don’t know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country. Maybe there will be.” So spoke the radical owner of two mansions, who entered Congress with little net worth and will leave it worth over $100 million. A Tip O’Neill she wasn’t.

Then there was soon-to-be Vice President Kamala Harris egging on the George Floyd demonstrations, which, weeks earlier, had already turned violent and indeed deadly (despite what the “fact-checkers” asserted):

“This is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not going to stop. And everyone beware, because they’re not going to stop. They’re not going to stop before Election Day in November, and they’re not going to stop after Election Day. And that should be—everyone should take note of that, on both levels, that they’re not going to let up, and they should not, and we should not.”

After four months of rioting in 2020—which left 25 people dead and 1,500 law enforcement officers injured, inflicted $2 billion in damage, and saw a police precinct, a federal courthouse, and an iconic church set ablaze—who gave the perpetrators a pass, with 14,000 arrests followed by few convictions and fewer jailings?

What happened during the violence against ICE in 2025-26? Did the Democrat apparat at least pretend to deplore the violence, or did it instead egg it on?

And who, as sore losers in 2016 and 2024, normalized the idea of dismantling the constitutional order—first by calling for the abolition of the Electoral College and later by planning to pack the court, end the filibuster, and admit two new left-wing states?

The Frankenstein Monster Awakens

So the socialists and communists did not really hijack the party. Rather, these youthful radicals were spawned and nurtured by aged Democrats. They became irate over their impotence and loss of influence—and simply upgraded the methods and message of their elders.

The upper-middle-class Mamdanis, Pikers, and AOCs did not storm the party parapets but were invited in by a party that had already radicalized itself—amid its hatred of Trump, its growing estrangement from the majority of the American people, and its fury at becoming increasingly powerless without the White House, Congress, or the Supreme Court.

Socialists did not lower the bar for extremism; establishment Democrats had already destroyed that standard altogether.

Given all that, the Democratic Socialists of America scarcely had to be invented.

After a decade of establishment Democrats destroying norms and traditions, deliberately dividing us by race, seeking to eliminate life-giving fossil fuels, and trying to implement dangerous crackpot ideas like critical race theory, critical legal theory, no cash bail, and defunding the police, the only change is that the now-electrified socialist monsters have awakened. They have mocked their stagnant creators, reenergized the old messages, and simply sought to replace the messengers.

Gone or going soon were the old white people like Pelosi and Schumer—despite their pathetic efforts to appease the Jacobins. In their place arose a cohort of upper-middle-class, degreed but otherwise poorly educated white urbanites, furious that their empty university certificates, student debt, inflated sense of self, and precious titles and jobs—but low salaries—had not delivered the affluent lifestyles enjoyed by lawyers, doctors, stockbrokers, and other professionals in their urban circles who had real jobs.

The downwardly mobile whites who formed 85% of the official ranks of the Democratic Socialists of America were joined by first- and second-generation immigrants, many from failed socialist states.

These were ingrates who, once safe and prospering in America, learned that boutique radicalism and identity chauvinism won cultural acceptance and conferred DEI leverage in their blue-state urban circles—and so sought to dismantle the very host nation that had saved them.

For both groups, anger was fed by envy of others with more stuff and by furor at a Middle America that plowed ahead, ignoring both their supposed talents and their hyped plight. And the Democratic Party provided the radical model—which, in their youthful ignorance, the new socialists pledged to enhance and exceed.

No longer, they thought, would hardcore leftists have to hide their agendas for fear of losing elections. In their folly, they attributed Harris’s 2024 implosion not to her clumsy efforts to disown and disguise her radical past (including the most left-wing voting record in the Senate), but to her not being left-wing enough.

In other words, a milquetoast socialist had lost in 2024 not because she was too radical for America, but because she was not socialist—or indeed, communist—enough.

The crazed new socialists bragged that they could win by loudly and brazenly broadcasting the old agendas: open borders, mass amnesties, defunding the police, ending fossil fuels, attacking—and now seeking to destroy—the Senate and Supreme Court, and scapegoating whites and white “privilege.” To this old mainstream Democrat farrago, they added one new element: openly embracing anti-Zionism and indeed antisemitism.

America will soon see how this insanity works out.

U.S. Bars Imports From 43 More Companies Over China’s Alleged Forced Labor Involving Uyghurs

REUTERS—The United States on Friday banned imports from 43 more companies over alleged human rights abuses of Uyghur and other minority groups, including Hunan Aihua Group, one of China’s largest capacitor manufacturers, according to a government posting.

The companies were added to the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act Entity List, which restricts the import of goods tied to what the U.S. has determined are China’s human rights abuses and ongoing genocide in the Xinjiang region.

The latest additions also include companies in the pharmaceutical, metals, cotton, food and lithium production sectors.

The posting marks the first time companies have been added to the list under the Trump administration, and brings the number of entities on the list from 144 to 187. It is also the largest number of entities added in one action since the Act was signed into law in December 2021. Companies on the list are believed to mine, produce or manufacture their goods with forced labor.

“Today’s action by the Trump administration strengthens America’s economy against products made with slave labor and sends a message to the Chinese Communist Party that we will not look the other way on its genocide and human rights abuses,” Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Mich., chair of the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on China, said in a statement.

The U.S. has said Chinese authorities have established internment camps for Uyghurs and other religious and ethnic minority groups in China’s western Xinjiang region. Beijing has denied any abuses.

Hunan Aihua Group was added to the list because the U.S. believes the company sources chemical foil and other materials from Xinjiang, the Department of Homeland Security said in the posting in the U.S. Federal Register.

The company, which supplies consumer electronics, industrial, automotive and renewable energy markets,  did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Chacha Food Co., whose products are exported to nearly 50 countries and regions, was also added to the list, according to the posting. Others on the list included Xinjiang Tianhongji Technology Co., Tefeng Pharmaceutical Co., Tianshan Aluminum Group, and Henan Guorong Electronic Technology Co.

The Chinese Embassy in Washington did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The companies could not immediately be reached.

Gun-Control Org Spent $1 Million For Firearm Ban That Could Go Down As Epic Self-Own

Despite massive spending in the 2025 Virginia gubernatorial race, the gun-control organization backed by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg may have left the state with far more modern semiautomatic firearms than there were prior to a short-lived ban.

Pro-Second Amendment organizations filed suit after Democratic Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger signed SB 749, a ban on so-called “assault weapons,” into law May 14, eventually securing court orders blocking the legislation. Following a decision by state courts to pause the litigation on Virginia’s ban pending the Supreme Court’s decision in Viramontes v. Cook County, a case challenging a similar ban on modern semiautomatic weapons, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) Litigation & Intelligence Coordinator Rob Romano summarized the outcome from the series of events in a Thursday post on X.

“Pretty funny how Everytown spent $1 million to get Spanberger elected so she could sign this ban, and now the end result will potentially be less than a month of it being in effect but significantly more of the guns and magazines in the state than if she vetoed it,” Romano said.

Everytown touted its $1 million ad campaign for Spanberger shortly after she defeated then-Republican Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears in the 2025 gubernatorial race.

When signing the bill, Spanberger claimed that the ban on modern semiautomatic firearms would “protect families.” What happened instead is a classic example of unintended consequences, most of which end up on the positive side of the ledger for the Second Amendment community.

The court’s orders blocking the law took effect on July 21, less than three weeks after the effective date of the ban. Despite the uncertainty of whether SB 749 would take effect on July 1 due to the litigation from pro-Second Amendment groups, including the National Rifle Association (NRA), Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and FPC, AR-15s and similar firearms that would be covered by the ban were flying off the shelves, The Richmond Times-Dispatch reported in June.

“They’re buying the living daylights out of ARs,” Karen Ballengee, owner of Southern Police Equipment, said. “They’re buying guns as fast as they can get their hands on them.”

Background check totals appear to bear that out. The FBI reported carrying out over 73,000 background checks on the National Instant Check System in Virginia during May, more than twice as many as the total conducted in May 2025.

In an article published May 13, The New York Times noted that both the AR-15 semiautomatic rifle (which bears a resemblance to the M16 and M4 select-fire weapons used by the U.S. military) and semiautomatic rifles with cosmetic features or accessories that make them look like fully-automatic AK-47s are popular firearms owned by millions of civilians. Or, in simple language, lots of people use them for reasons that are perfectly legal.

The shorter phrase is that these guns are in “common use.” Per Heller and Bruen, firearms in common use for lawful purposes fall under the Second Amendment’s protection; in other words, they can’t be banned.

In addition to the ban on so-called “assault weapons,” the bill Spanberger signed also outlawed standard-capacity magazines, setting an arbitrary limit of 15 rounds. That is also on hold pending the Supreme Court’s ruling in Viramontes.

How Jewish Progressives Embrace Jew-Haters

Until they can acknowledge their own culpability and suspend their cognitive dissonance, Jewish progressives will remain lost in the weeds of their dogmatic swamp. 

I recently wrote a column discussing how liberal American Jews are feeling alienated from a progressive political establishment and Democratic Party that have become increasingly anti-Israel and antisemitic. A few days after publication, the results of a survey were reported showing that 44 percent of Jews polled (presumably liberal) held favorable views of New York socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani — despite his history of inflammatory rhetoric concerning Jews and Israel and the dramatic increase in antisemitic incidents in the city since his inauguration (including a recent stabbing by an assailant shouting “Allahu Akbar”)!

In contrast, only 33 percent expressed favorable views of Benyamin Netanyahu.

If any liberals who expressed dismay about progressive antisemitism also voiced approval of Mamdani, they may well have abdicated their right to complain because they actually helped facilitate its spread by lending credence to leftist radicals like Mamdani. To New York City’s mayor, demonization of Israel and delegitimization of Jewish nationhood are core tenets.

The approval of Mamdani by many liberals suggests their alarm over leftist Jew-hatred arises only from experiential discomfort when confronted, not any real awareness that the political ideology they hold dear nurtures and encourages the antisemitic impulse.

Though they may express shock when faced with hatred from fellow progressives, they cannot seem to bring themselves to renounce a political philosophy that has always portrayed Jews derisively as capitalists, money lenders, ethnocentric chauvinists, religious obscurantists, and a collective ghost nation that refuses to relinquish its national character and assimilate. The fact that many leftist Jews agree makes these stereotypes no less antisemitic.

And until they can acknowledge their own culpability and suspend their cognitive dissonance, they will remain lost in the weeds of their dogmatic swamp.

Cognitive dissonance refers to the psychological stress that results when actions conflict with convictions, which causes sufferers to alter their conduct or beliefs to mitigate resulting mental distress. This is precisely what Jewish liberals do by insisting naively that progressivism is morally consistent with Torah and socialism is benevolent and more conducive to Jewish values, continuity and survival than modern political conservatism.

As anybody who has actually read Karl Marx knows, such beliefs reflect ignorance of the socialist-to-communist arc that is central to Marxist theory. According to Marx, revolution is supposed to ignite a transformative process starting with (a) the socialist phase, in which the working class seizes control of government and the means of production and triggers the deterioration of state institutions, followed by (b) the communist state, where there are no economic or class distinctions, personal property rights, or individual liberties. The end result is a dictatorship no less totalitarian than Nazi Germany – and no less brutal. In point of fact, communist and socialist regimes since the twentieth century have been responsible for between eighty million and 140 million deaths respectively, according to estimates.

No stage of Marxism — whether communist or socialist — has ever produced a benevolent utopia, and certainly not one where Jews could survive as a people. And in presenting it as tolerant and inclusive, today’s democratic socialists ignore its tradition of anti-progressive moral dogmatism. Communist and socialist regimes were notoriously anti-gay, for example, deeming homosexuality a sign of bourgeois decadence. Clearly, socialism was never an ideological repository for modern progressive social values.

Moreover, Marxism conflicts with the Torah’s concern for human dignity, liberty and freedom, personal property rights, national obligation, and the sanctity of life. Our tradition certainly values social justice, as evidenced in the Torah portion of Ki Teitze (Sefer Devarim, 21:10-25:19) where we are commanded to care and provide for widows, orphans, and strangers, treat workers respectfully, and pay wages punctually. But the Torah does not prescribe social justice as a means for usurping state authority, abrogating individual liberties, or outlawing belief in a power higher than the secular collectivist state.

Whether they realize it or not, Jews who embrace socialism are endorsing a process that ultimately leads to the demise of their faith, culture, and identity.

Indeed, this is exactly what happened in the former Soviet Union, where the Jewish section of the Communist party (the “Yevsektsiya”) was tasked with rooting out Jewish observance, thought, and education. It was the Yevsektsiya that attempted to destroy Judaism by informing on those who continued to observe, closing synagogues and schools, seizing Jewish communal property, and outlawing the teaching of Torah, rabbinic literature, and Hebrew.

Despite the Yevsektsiya’s enthusiasm in persecuting those who remained faithful to their heritage, Stalin dissolved it in 1929 and ultimately ordered many of its members killed (including chairman Semyon Dimanstein) during the “Great Purge” from 1936 to 1938. That purge, in fact, was deemed necessary for eradicating the threat of Jewish “cosmopolitanism.” Clearly, oppressing their own people at Stalin’s behest did not save them from execution because of their ancestry.

Those who claim Marxism is tolerant are ignorant of its history. Howver, they seem guided by its same hateful impulse regarding Jews. Indeed, the left misses no opportunity to disparage Jewish tradition, delegitimize Israel, displace Jewish history with a false Palestinian Arab national myth with no historical foundation, and engage in revolutionary violence. Though not all Jewish liberals today are so extreme, they nonetheless tend to express affinity for ideological paradigms that, at the end of the day, are antithetical to the continuity of Jewish culture and belief.

And because they have for generations conflated Jewishness with liberalism and the Democratic Party, they remain blind to progressivism’s innate hostility toward Jews, Judaism, and the State of Israel. Perhaps that’s why so many are fond of quoting progressive fathers like Voltaire, Diderot, and Baron d’Holbach concerning the nobility of the human spirit, while paradoxically ignoring the profound antisemitism contained in their writings.

Many of them argue that antisemitism is caused by Jews themselves, for example, by Israel’s military response to the unprovoked barbarity of October 7th. Or that the tidal wave of Jew-hatred across North American cities and college campuses since then was instigated by Israel’s “disproportionate response” and “genocide” in Gaza (both antisemitic blood libels). Or that Jews nefariously control American foreign policy. The fruits of Qatar’s financial infiltration are no secret anymore.

They continue to validate leftists like Mamdani, who disparages Netanyahu as a “war criminal” subject to arrest (wrong on both counts), demonizes AIPAC as “monsters” who spend “millions in dark money” to “turn us against one and other,” and refuses to acknowledge Israel’s legitimacy as a Jewish state

Jewish liberals who countenance Mamdani despite tropes echoing the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” are a case study in dissonant thinking – or worse.

Those who engage in such polemics may be acting out of ignorance, malice, or cowardice. But it is difficult to blame lack of knowledge when access to truth today is a finger-click away. Thus, the ability to plead ignorance has a limited shelf life; and if they have access to knowledge but fail to engage it, their ignorance becomes willful or malicious. And if they know the truth but refuse to deviate for fear of repercussions from the partisan herd, they cross the threshold to moral cowardice.

Do Jewish members of Congress who distance themselves from AIPAC similarly dissociate from all organizations that advocate the interests of foreign nations? Do they accept gratuities, for example, from any of the lobbying firms that represent Qatar (a nation with proven links to both Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood)? Do they accept campaign contributions from influence peddlers representing the diplomatic interests of Iran or the Turkish government under Erdogan? Do they have relationships with any of the sham charities that channel funds to Islamist terror groups like Hamas?

Though many US lobbyists shill for foreign governments with anti-American interests, why is pro-American AIPAC singled out not just by radical leftists, but by supposedly moderate liberals as well? The only possible reason is their desire to placate the anti-Israel wing of their party, for whom AIPAC is the boogeyman at the center of a global Jewish conspiracy — without articulating such stereotypes themselves.

Whether motivated by partisanship or moral cowardice, they are facilitating antisemitism through their actions.

They also do so by demonizing Netanyahu as an “enemy of democracy”; for example, validating the popular lie that his desire for judicial reform is anti-democratic; when in fact, the Israeli court system has given itself non-mandated powers, shields itself from checks and balances, controls its own succession, and would not pass constitutional muster in the US. And they further do so by ascribing qualities to Netanyahu that evoke archetypal antisemitic cliches.

What the progressives and DSA promoters have done through such conduct is bring antisemitism within the Overton window of acceptable political discourse, which is not so different from that of 1930s Germany. The only difference today is the active complicity of politicized Jews who have lost any real connection to their traditional past or empathy for their prophesied future.

A Brief History of the DSA

The Democratic Socialists of America traces its roots to 1901 when supporters joined with Presidential candidate, Eugene V. Debs, to form the Socialist Party of America.  The evolution of the DSA:

  • 1971, the New American Movement (NAM) emerged emphasizing community organizing, and feminist causes.  
  • 1973, the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee (DSOC) split from the Socialist Party of America to work with the Democrat Party and labor unions. 
  • March of 1982, the DSOC and NAM joined forces at a Detroit convention to create the DSA. Michael Harrington was the ringleader and co-chair until his death in 1989.

Today, the DSA describes itself as “a political and activist organization, not a party,” boasting that it has over 100,000 members with chapters in all 50 states.  It maintains its radical leftist policy positions as follows: “the abolition of police and prisons and the release of all people ‘from involuntary confinement’; the total elimination of conventional energy sources such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas; the abolition of the U.S. Senate; and enfranchising non-citizens in U.S. elections. It advocates for the replacement of capitalism with a centrally planned economy in which most sectors are government-run and in which wealth is compulsorily redistributed through high levels of taxation, government distribution of goods and services, and reparations.”

The Democratic Socialists continue to wield influence over the Democrat Party, particularly in locales where progressive ideology reigns.

Minneapolis’ DSA Problem

Minneapolis, Minnesota has a DSA problem.  Minneapolis’ younger, diverse, highly educated urban population with strong progressive activism, universities, and labor presence is fertile ground for the growth of socialism.

Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign essentially jump-started the Twin Cities DSA (TCDSA) in Minneapolis.  When Sanders won the Minnesota Democrat caucuses in 2016 during the Presidential primary, membership in the Twin Cities DSA grew exponentially to the point that now, the leadership of the Minneapolis Democratic Farmer-Labor Party is littered with Twin Cities DSA influence.

The highly-motivated DSA members have built coalitions (at marker 4:20) around shared causes, like the “defund the police” movement, with left-leaning members of the Democrat party (called the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party in Minnesota [DFL]).

By 2021, three very young TCDSA radicals were elected to the City Council – Labor organizer Aisha Chugtai at 24, Jason Chavez at 26, and community organizer Robin Wonsley Worlobah at 30.  Wonsley won by only 19 votes.

These same Council members were endorsed for re-election in 2023 along with newcomers Soren Stevenson (W8), and 26-year-old Aurin Chowdhury.  All but Stevenson won.

In 2025, the Twin Cities DSA organized thousands of volunteers to campaign in Minneapolis for seven endorsed candidates that included: Muslim state senator Omar Fateh for mayor; and Robin WonsleySoren StevensonJason ChavezAisha Chughtai and Aurin Chowdhury for City Council.  Fateh lost his bid for mayor.  The rest won their elections and currently occupy Minneapolis City Council seats.  Enough additional members join them in voting as a progressive bloc strong enough to pass local policies but not override mayoral vetoes.  This essentially gives TCDSA complete control over the Council.

The TCDSA is very small, with some 2,500 members in 2026, in a city of around 430,000.  How could such a small group take over a city council?  By taking over the DFL’s caucuses and endorsing process, they have been able to accomplish this feat.  Candidates who get a DFL endorsement typically win in Minneapolis.

The Radical Agenda of the TCDSA

A truncated synopsis of the TCDSA core policy pillars:

  • “We will commit to decolonizing “Minnesota” after centuries of genocide. Territory held by settlers will be returned to First Nations.” [Editor’s Query – The process will start with government land and large private holdings but the pillar goes on to say, eventually, the rest of the land will be returned.  So everybody else has to leave?]
  • “We will build an economy that serves the needs of the many by taxing the rich and putting workers in control of our livelihoods.” (With living wages and universal health care.)
  • “We will build a democratic society and political system that guarantees the freedom and liberty of all peoples in Minnesota.” (By abolishing the state senate, queer liberation, and racial justice.)
  • “We will halt the fascist and imperial war machine at home and abroad.” (By  abolishing ICE and freeing Palestine.)
  • “We will provide safe and dignified housing for all.”  (With rent control and public housing.)
  • “We will transition away from fossil fuels toward a green and sustainable future with clean air to breathe and clean water to drink for all.”  (By dismantling the racist, toxic highway system).
  • “We will build a system of public safety that serves the needs of our communities and truly keeps us safe.”  (By organizing for a world without prisons and armed policing.)

Critics

Critics of the DSA say that the organization is primarily concerned with activism, not governing.

Life-long Democrat and DFL member, Marjorie Simon, “warns of what she describes as “creeping communism” and a systemic takeover of the party by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).”  She is so frustrated with the DFL for allowing such intervention by the DSA that she is threatening to sue the Party.  “If we don’t fight for the soul of this party now, there won’t be a party left to save,” insisted Simon recently.

As of April 2026, a new DFL organization is exposing the DSA-aligned candidates.  That organization is called The Humphrey Project, named for former Vice President and Minneapolis mayor Hubert Humphrey.  The group says it is “fighting for core DFL values,” and “the DSA runs candidates on our ticket with a very different platform. We think voters should see it.”

For example, Humphrey Democrats say they “support free markets, not central planning or crony capitalism,” while the DSA wants to “abolish capitalism and nationalize industry.”

Humphrey Democrats also want to “reform institutions through the Constitution” and “pass laws that help people today,” while the DSA wants to “rewrite or abolish the Constitution” and “wait for revolution rather than reform.”

Unfortunately, Minnesota DFL Party Chair Richard Carlbom has denounced the Humphrey Project.

Another strong voice sounding alarm bells about the dangers of a socialist takeover in Minnesota is state Republican Representative Tom Murphy.  He says that Minnesota is at an ideological and economic tipping point.

“There is a reason that Naples, Florida, has received the nickname “Little Minnesota.” So many Minnesota “expats” have established residency there, that they’ve practically colonized the city. It’s hard to blame them, as DFL/DSA politicians have made it abundantly clear that they are not welcome here [in Minnesota].”

“The math is simple: If the wealthy continue to leave, our state becomes insolvent.”

Representative Murphy hangs on to hope.  There are “still far more of us regular Minnesotans than there are DSA radicals….  Republicans were able to win a tie in the Minnesota House, and that has been crucial for blocking a cascade of harmful tax bills proposed by the DFL/DSA.”  He encourages his constituents to keep fighting for Minnesota.

NYC Islamic Terror Attacks Up 243% Under Mamdani

Worst surge in New York City terrorism in almost a decade.

The last time an Islamic terrorist attack was carried out in New York City before Mamdani was in Times Square on the last day of 2022.

In the 7 months since Mamdani took office, there have already been two terror attacks.

The mass stabbing in Manhattan by an ex-con shouting “Allahu Akbar” followed a previous attack on a protest rally against Islamization at the mayoral residence of Gracie Mansion by two Muslim teenagers throwing homemade bombs.

In previous years, Christian Sturdivant, a convert to Islam, had been arrested on December 31, 2025, over a New Year’s Eve stabbing spree plot in New York City which, had it been carried out, would have taken place hours before Mamdani took office.

Sturdivant had posted, “May Allah curse the cross worshipers.”

Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, a Pakistani Muslim operating in Canada, had plotted to mark the Hamas atrocities of Oct 7 with a terror attack against Jewish synagogues in Brooklyn on the same date in 2024.

Both of these religiously themed Muslim attacks, one aimed at Jews and one at Christians, were a once-a-year occasion, but there have already been two Islamic terror attacks in just the first 7 months of Mamdani’s reign, with possibly more to come before the first year is even out.

This is a shocking increase of 243% in terror attacks across just two and a half years.

3 out of 4 Islamic terrorist plots in New York City in the last three years took place after Mamdani’s election ‘victory’. What role did his campaign and election play in emboldening the Islamic terrorists who plotted them is an important question in understanding the terror surge.

A surge that some are already calling the ‘Mamdani Effect’.

Furthermore it is important to once again emphasize that the Muslim terror plots in 2024 and 2025 remained plans and were not executed, while the two attacks under Mamdani were.

We have to go all the way back to 2022 to find a successfully implemented Muslim attack.

To find a year where there were not just one but two Muslim terror attacks, we have to go all the way back to 2017 during which Sayfullo Saipov, an Uzbek Muslim who had scored a Diversity Immigrant Lottery visa, rammed his car into numerous people in Manhattan, killing 8 and wounding 13, and Akayed Ullah, a Bangladeshi Muslim, whose uncle had also won a Diversity Immigrant Lottery visa, tried to detonate a pipe bomb in the New York City subway.

2017 was a record year for Islamic terrorist attacks because after years of coddling ISIS under Obama, the Trump administration had unleashed a ruthless campaign that broke the terror group. This led to a wave of global attacks by Muslims in support of the organization they believed had been chosen by Allah to destroy non-Muslims and usher in a new Caliphate.

There were no global events that should have led to a similar wave of Sunni attacks in 2026 and while Islamic terrorists continue to carry out attacks, there’s been no significant global surge.

And yet Islamic terrorist attacks are up 243% in New York City with the single worst surge of attacks in almost a decade. Whatever is causing this can only be attributed to New York City.

And it cannot be a mere coincidence that 3 of the 4 terror plots in the last three years line up with the Mamdani campaign.

Freedom Center Investigates had previously documented Mamdani’s ties to terrorism including his visit to the Al-Taqwa Mosque, which used to be under NYPD surveillance, embracing its religious leader, Imam Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the WTC bombing, who called America “filthy”, preached “I will never ever tell people, ‘don’t be violent, that is not the Islamic way.’ The violence has to be selected” and declared that getting involved in “politics is a weapon in the cause of Islam”. His son was later charged in a terrorism plot. Mamdani had also joined ‘prayers’ at the Islamic Society of Bay Ridge whose imam had been caught on video praying for victory for Hamas, imploring “Allah to make them strong and guide their shooting.”

Mamdani had repeatedly spoken out to excuse and cover for Islamic terrorists on social media

His transition team and staff included multiple terror lawyersincluding Mamdani’s Chief Counsel, Ramzi Kassem, who had claimed that 9/11 was due to the “resentment these terrorists felt towards the United States” as a result of “our country’s policies” and argued that “terrorism is but one of many reactions to oppression and dispossession and not their cause.”

In Lebanon, Kassem had boasted about throwing stones at Israelis.

Mamdani’s political guru, Linda Sarsour, had bragged, “I would be honored to die a martyr” and, as Middle East Forum noted,she was involved in an organization a Hamas front group had tried to direct funds to. Mamdani’s first endorsement, Aber Kawas, now the Democrat nominee for state senate, had described an Al Qaeda terrorist and Hamas fundraisers as “imprisoned heroes” and called another Muslim terrorist who plotted to bomb a synagogue as “my brother.”

Can the 243% increase in Islamic terrorist attacks in New York City really be connected to anything other than the rise of a political network openly supportive of Islamic terrorism?

Across the river, Democrats have nominated Hisham ‘Adam’ Hamawy as a congressional candidate, even though he had translated for and testified for the ‘Blind Sheikh’ linked to the World Trade Center bombing and subsequent Islamic terror plots against New York City, and even though he had volunteered for an Al Qaeda linked group.

The growing political power of the Islamic terror lobby is naturally leading to a surge in Islamic terror violence. The mobs waving Hamas and Hezbollah flags in the streets of New York City are normalizing Islamic terrorism and the more it’s normalized, the more of it there will be.

Mamdani is a symptom of how the political support for Islamic terrorism among New York and New Jersey Democrats is translating into more Islamic terrorism in the region. The more power that the political supporters of Islamic terrorism get, the worse the terrorist attacks will become.
