EXCLUSIVE: Tim Walz Has A History Of Rubbing Elbows With Nonprofit Linked To Chinese Intel And Influence Agency

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, has a long history of attending events organized by members of a nonprofit with connections to a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) influence and intelligence agency, a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation found.

Since 2018, Walz has attended multiple events hosted by members of the Chinese American Association of Minnesota (CAAM) and related organizations, including one 2022 fundraiser for his gubernatorial campaign, according to a DCNF review of dozens of Chinese government announcements, Chinese-language news reports and social media posts.

Other media have detailed self-declared progressive Walz’s long-standing relationships with entities connected to Islamic extremism as well.

Since 2016, CAAM and another local nonprofit have been hosting the St. Paul branch of the “Overseas Chinese Service Center” (OCSC) program, which is a global network of institutions overseen by the Chinese government’s United Front Work Department (UFWD), the DCNF previously reported.

Among other things, the UFWD “collects intelligence, exerts control over overseas Chinese-language media outlets, seeks to influence Chinese diaspora groups, facilitates illicit technology transfer, and interferes in politics in other countries,” according to the House Select Committee on the CCP.

On at least one occasion, a member of the St. Paul, Minnesota OCSC also took part in meetings and training sessions organized by China’s national police authority, the DCNF found. The DCNF has reported on other Chinese government-linked operations, including a June 2024 investigation detailing how an online network run by a self-identified Chinese “cyber police” officer provides Chinese illegal immigrants with resources to get into the U.S. and evade border authorities.

CAAM did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

The Democratic vice presidential nominee’s dozens of trips to China as an educator have come under intense scrutiny from China hawks and Republican lawmakers like Kentucky Rep. James Comer, who recently sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray requesting information pertaining to “any Chinese entity or individual with whom Mr. Walz may have engaged or partnered.”

Going Full Orwell: Harris-Walz Equate Fighting ‘Climate Change’ With ‘Freedom’

Shh. A moment of ‘climate silence’ being observed on live TV – Morano on Fox & Friends on Harris-Walz ‘climate silence’ & pushing climate solutions as ‘freedom’

Harris Goes Full Orwell!

NYT: Harris’s New Strategy: Equate Fighting Climate Change With ‘Freedom’ – Framing As ‘Patriotism’ – ‘A novel way of framing climate change’

New York Times – Aug. 23, 2024: Vice President Kamala Harris mentioned climate change just once in her speech before the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, wrapping it into her larger campaign theme of freedom. … Ms. Harris declared that along with reproductive choice “many other fundamental freedoms are at stake” in the November election. Those include “the freedom to breathe clean air, and drink clean water and live free from the pollution that fuels the climate crisis,” she said. …

Via Study.com’s Analysis of George Orwell’s 1984 & the meaning of ‘Freedom is Slavery:  “The slogan coined by Big Brother goes on to explain that freedom is slavery…Big Brother justifies this confusion by saying that someone who is free under the typical conception, able to operate according to their own will, is ultimately unsuccessful. Rather, true freedom is serving the state, which allows one to operate with more freedom than they ever would have had if they went out into the world on their own.”

Marc Morano: This is this is the biggest con I’ve seen in modern politics. Kamala Harris in 2019 was the co-sponsor of The Green New Deal — the AOC original Green New Deal, and as you mentioned, Harris cast a breaking vote in 2022 for the Inflation Reduction Act. Climate is supposed to be an existential threat. Climate is supposed to be in crisis —  an emergency. The Biden-Harris Administration was talking openly — as The Washington Post and Associated Press reported — declaring a National Climate emergency — and all of a sudden, summer of 2024, everything went silent. And why is that? Because according to the Washington Post, the New York Times, they have found in focus groups, they have found in polling, they have found this across the board — that there’s just no concern over climate change in America. It’s dropped even in these polls by the mainstream media, out of the top 20 issues, it’s not even in the top half, and so what’s happened is they’ve just moved on, and they’re framing it now, according to the New York Times, as an issue of ‘freedom’ —  climate ‘solutions’ will bring ‘freedom.’ This is after they talked about banning gas-powered cars, restricting meat eating, banning gas stoves and thermostat controls, and CNN promoting ‘carbon passports’ for travel. But now they’ve just gone silent on this existential threat of the 21st century. We’re being conned.

Partial Transcript:

Rachel Campos-Duffy: Even the Washington Post has taken notice, saying the split-screen approach suggests that Democrats see talking about the environment as a lose-lose proposition. Here to discuss is Climate Depot publisher Marc Morano. Marc, it is really interesting she cast the deciding vote on the Big Green New Deal, or some call it a scam, and she should be bragging about it, and no one’s talking about this issue. Why, what’s happened?

Morano: This is a huge opening for Trump. They need to ridicule what Harris has said and done. Remember, she was the one who said climate change was the root cause of immigration on the southern border, and she actually went down to investigate. They can’t let her get away with this.

Gov. Tim Walls, by the way, is the exact same way. He was actually —  going back a decade — trying the same tactic of avoiding climate change by telling Minnesotans to support then Pres. Obama’s climate bills because ‘we would all be rich from it’ — they’re all emphasizing this fake government-supported green jobs so-called, and they’re getting labor unions involved and the ideas we’re going to subsidize through trillions of dollars. Remember, the Inflation Reduction Act was only a couple hundred billion dollars, but now the latest estimates are without Congressional authorization of spending of over $1 trillion and rising. So this money is being pumped in. That’s how they’re trying to sell climate change now,  as some kind of cash scam for people to get rich off of.  No longer do we face the tipping point 12 years or the existential threat. They know the public’s not buying that scientific claptrap.

Morano: 2030 was AOC’s climate tipping point deadline, and the clock is ticking, but usually, when it expires, they cross it out and put a new date.

Rachel Campos-Duffy: Tick-tock, tick-tock. Thank you, Marc. So great to have you on.

Morano: Thank you, Rachel. Appreciate it.

‘Statistics Don’t Lie,’ But … 3 Principles that Illuminate the Massive Downward Revision in U.S. Jobs

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) this week announced the largest negative revision to their employment estimates in at least 15 years. After initially estimating the U.S. economy added 2.9 million jobs between March 2023 and March 2024, they now estimate the number at closer to 2.1 million, a difference of 818,000 jobs. This means their initial estimate was off by 28% — a huge miscalculation, at least for anyone but a meteorologist. If a dentist were off by so much, he would stab his client in the eye.

While it’s not clear how the estimate could be so inaccurate, it’s more important to consider our response. The announcement triggered a predictable barrage of finger-pointing in all directions from public figures. Equally implausible accusations came from former President Donald Trump and Biden administration Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo. Both are likely engaged in electoral posturing.

Trump declared that “the Harris-Biden Administration has been caught fraudulently manipulating Job Statistics.” It’s possible, of course, for political concerns to influence federal bureaucrats — even statisticians — so that they manipulate the data to serve a political agenda. But the implausibility of this claim lies in the actor behind the passive verb, “has been caught.” The BLS published the initial jobs estimate, and the BLS revised them. In effect, Trump is asking his audience to believe that the same people who were “fraudulently manipulating” statistics for political gain caught and exposed their own scam and did so weeks before the election. Without a compelling explanation for such a total about-face, this interpretation simply does not fit all the facts.

Equally implausibly, Raimondo suggested in an interview that the revised numbers had been fabricated by Trump. She responded to Trump’s accusations, “I don’t believe it, because I’ve never heard Trump say anything truthful.” Raimondo either was ignorant of, or feigned ignorance of, the contents of the scheduled BLS update, which had been released hours earlier. Despite the narrative crafted at the DNC, the Biden-Harris administration currently possesses the levers of power, while former President Trump has no power at all over the BLS number crunchers.

Politicians are not the only ones susceptible to bad takes on unwelcome economic news. The dramatic revision could also trigger ordinary citizens to feel gloomy or angry, or even erode what remaining trust they have in governmental institutions.

Lest we succumb to such temptations, it is wise to calibrate our expectations of job growth statistics (and other types of statistics) with a look at the big picture. You may have heard the saying, “Statistics don’t lie, but people do.” While this is true, I don’t think it helps to explain what happened here. Instead, I offer three other principles, in a related vein, which readers can apply to the U.S. jobs report estimate, as well as any other statistics they encounter.

1. Statistics Don’t Lie, but They’re Educated Guesses

Many figures that are tossed around in public discourse as concrete facts are not as solid as they seem. Economic snapshots, public opinion surveys, and exit polls all rely on statistics, a branch of mathematics that calculates probabilities and deals with very large numbers. Nearly everything in the social sciences relies on statistics, not hard numbers, to make inferences about the whole from a part (ideally a representative part).

Measuring a whole population is called a census; for large populations (like a whole nation), this is such a monumental and costly undertaking that our federal government only conducts it once a decade for the essential purpose of accurately determining the proper apportionment of congressional districts. Unless they have conducted a census, statisticians are always working with probabilities.

The more complex the issue, the more guesswork is involved. To derive any but the most basic information, social scientists must not only rely on probabilities but also make assumptions in order to interpret the data correctly. These assumptions often involve using something measurable but uninteresting as a “proxy” measurement for something interesting but unmeasurable (e.g. using DUI convictions as a proxy for the prevalence of drunk driving). If those assumptions are inaccurate, then the results based on them will be unreliable.

Tasks such as calculating the total number of jobs added in the U.S. over a 12-month period is an incredibly complex process. To do so, BLS economists must process thousands of data points and use that information to make inferences about millions of jobs. This is about as challenging as a blindfolded football announcer trying to provide live commentary on the game based on sound alone.

The BLS recognizes the limitations inherent to this task. Their initial calculation is called an “estimate.” Their standard practice is to issue a later “revision” to this estimate in February of the next year, and a “preliminary estimate” of that revision in August. This is because information that arrives later can help them to correct their earlier interpretation. The blindfolded announcer could do the same; “there must have been a turnover, because the plays are now progressing in the opposite direction.”

Most BLS revisions of job data are small, while the most recent was surprisingly large. This doesn’t mean that BLS economists suddenly forgot how to do their job. Rather, it means they finally got new information that contradicted previous information, allowing them to correct and refine the assumptions on which they make their calculations. The same is true with public opinion polls; just because some polls are wrong doesn’t mean the method is unreliable. A good pollster will do what the BLS has done and use later information to correct for earlier mistakes.

2. Statistics Don’t Lie, but They Don’t Tell the Whole Story

The Biden White House released a statement on June 28, 2023, claiming, “Bidenomics is already delivering for the American people. Our economy has added more than 13 million jobs ….” Their logic ran: job creation is a sign of a healthy economy, and jobs are being created, so the economy is healthy.

Yet the American people largely met the boasts about Bidenomics with skepticism and ambivalence. American families were still struggling with a prolonged period of high inflation and high interest rates. The number of jobs created did not tell the whole story — or even the primary story — about how the state of the economy affected most Americans.

Even if true, the simple statistic — 13 million jobs created — does not even tell the whole story about job creation. Many of those reappeared as the economy bounced back from the COVID pandemic lockdowns in 2020. Of the jobs that were created, many did not benefit American citizens; the BLS estimated that all job growth from February 2023 to February 2024 went to non-U.S.-born workers, while U.S.-born workers decreased by 741,000.

This is related to the saying, “statistics don’t lie, but people do.” One way people use true statistics to advance a false narrative is by telling only part of the story. However good the play-by-play announcer is — blindfold or no blindfold — he can’t tell about how this player powered through an injury during training, or that player overcame a difficult childhood, because those parts of the story simply aren’t visible on the field.

3. Statistics Don’t Lie, but They Aren’t Ultimate

A third caution about statistics is that they do not tell us about what is most important. Economic figures rise and fall. Opinion polls swing. Even elections are won and lost. Those who are elated by good news will be dejected by bad news. Win or lose, it will all dissipate like a frosty breath. “There is no remembrance of former things, nor will there be any remembrance of later things yet to be among those who come after” (Ecclesiastes 1:11).

The best things in life cannot be measured or statistically analyzed. Even if we try to find proxy values for family, happiness, or spiritual discipline, we can barely scratch the surface of their meaning.

The best knowledge is found in God’s Word, and the best wisdom is found in a lifelong pursuit of the fear of the Lord. What Paul says of physical knowledge applies to physical insight as well, “while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come” (1 Timothy 4:8).

Today may show a shocking downward revision of job numbers. Tomorrow they may be revised upward. Today your favored candidate may be leading or trailing, and tomorrow the electoral fortunes may be reversed. But “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), and how we stand before him is far more important than what the statistics say.

Poll: Over 70% of Dems and Independents Unaware of Harris’s Controversial Policy Positions

A new poll has revealed that almost three-quarters of registered Democrats and Independents are not aware of numerous intensely controversial policy positions that Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris has taken. The news comes as the founder of a Harris super PAC admitted that internal polling is showing a much tighter race between the vice president and Donald Trump than what recent public poll results suggest.

The poll, conducted by the Media Research Center (MRC), surveyed 800 Democrats and 400 Independents who said they voted for Joe Biden in 2020. It found that at least 70% or more were not aware of positions the vice president has taken that are widely considered to be extremely left-wing, including supporting the elimination of private health insurance, abolishing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and decriminalizing crossing the border illegally. In addition, 75% said they did not know Harris was named the most liberal U.S. senator in 2019, and 72% did not know she had “never visited a conflict zone on the border as Border Czar.”

Curtis Houck, managing editor of MRC’s NewsBusters, called the results of the poll “stunning” during Wednesday’s “Washington Watch.” “Of the 10 things that we polled, they were no lower than 71% unaware,” he explained. “Seventy-one percent of her voters are unaware that she has flirted with defunding the police, and thought we should talk about reparations. Seventy-three percent did not know that she’s in favor of the Green New Deal.”

Houck continued, “In 2020, she encouraged supporters to donate to the Minneapolis Bail Fund to release violent criminals who rioted and destroyed those city streets after what happened with George Floyd [78% were unaware of this]. [It] goes all the way up to 86% of her voters did not know that at a CNN town hall, [she stated that] we should have a conversation about death row inmates being allowed to vote. So no matter how you slice it, no matter what issue, whether it’s the economy, the environment, crime, the border, her voters do not know what she believes in, and the fact that they’re still willing to vote for her anyway is a really dangerous commentary on the state of our politics.”

Houck went on to point to another MRC study showing a massive imbalance in the type of coverage the legacy media is giving Harris and Trump in the four weeks since President Joe Biden exited the race.

“[T]he media have given Kamala Harris 84% positive coverage [versus 89% negative coverage of Trump] on ABC, CBS, and NBC, and on the evening shows only twice mentioned her party ideology, mentioned her as a progressive,” he observed. “… There’s always some sort of label affixed to [Republicans], but they haven’t even done that for Kamala Harris. So if they’re not willing to talk about the party label, they’re not going to talk about her policies.”

Meanwhile, Reuters reported on Monday that Harris’s campaign backers are worried over the results of internal polls that do not reflect recent public poll numbers showing Harris opening up a lead over Trump. During an event hosted by the University of Chicago Institute of Politics, Chauncey McLean, president of the Harris super political action committee (PAC) Future Forward, remarked, “Our numbers are much less rosy than what you’re seeing in the public.”

McLean, whose Future Forward PAC has “at least $250 million left to spend” on “a wave of advertising from digital to television,” stated that his group’s analysis has identified Pennsylvania as the most important state for Harris to win, which he anticipated will be a “coin flip.” He also cautioned that the vice president “has yet to fully rebuild the Biden coalition of Blacks, Hispanics and young voters that brought him the White House in 2020.” The race is going to be as “tight as a tick, and pretty much across the board,” he predicted.

Matt Carpenter, director of Family Research Council Action, further underscored that mainstream polling results, particularly within swing states, should be taken with a grain of salt.

“It’s not just McClean who is quietly raising concerns about the state of the Harris-Walz ticket,” he told The Washington Stand. “Former Obama campaign chief strategist David Axelrod also recently said he’s aware of polling which shows the battleground state matchups are far less favorable to the Democratic nominee than many of the big public polling operations are showing, and even suggested if the election were held today that Trump would win. So much of politics is about managing expectations, and if the Harris-Walz campaign is all polling hype, then they aren’t doing themselves any favors in hiding the true state of the race.”

LGBT Group Walz Founded Wants to Trans Kids, Defund Police, and Abolish Borders

Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz has boasted of founding the local chapter of an organization that demands the “abolition of the police, abolition of borders,” “reparations for all indigenous and black peoples,” placing males in female correctional institutions, and transgender procedures for minors without parental consent — all while concealing children’s transgender identity from their parents. An LGBTQ website has said Walz’s behavior toward his students would get him labeled a “groomer” today. Walz’s wife, Gwen, is equally supportive of indoctrinating children in this group’s agenda, because she considers it part of her religious faith that “God created … some people gay.”

Tim Walz founded the local chapter of the GSA Network at Mankato West High School in the late 1990s. Numerous delegates highlighted Walz’s connection to the organization as he prepared to speak on the third night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

“I want to hear from the man who stepped up to create the Gay-Straight Alliance in the late ‘90s — the coach who stood up for the kids who needed him,” a teary-eyed Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) told MSNBC’s Joy Reid early Wednesday evening. In a video that night, the Minnesota governor’s wife, Gwen Walz boasted, “When one of our students started the school’s Gay-Straight Alliance, Tim agreed to serve as faculty adviser, because he knew how impactful it would be to have a football coach involved.”

Both called the group by its former name, the “Gay-Straight Alliance.” But the organization renamed itself the Genders & Sexualities Alliance Network (GSA Network) in 2015 to prove that its 4,000 affiliates “have moved beyond the labels of gay and straight, and the limits of a binary gender system.” (The Mankato West chapter has also changed its name.)

The GSA Network codified its political beliefs in a document on its resources page titled “Truth Nine Point Platform.” The platform calls for “the Abolition of the Police,” U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), “Borders and the Judicial System”; “an End of the Cisgender Heterosexual Patriarchy”; “Reparations for all Indigenous and Black Peoples,” including “Indigenous reclamation of stolen lands”; and “free and non-compulsory education for all ages.”

“We demand abolition! Abolition of the police, abolition of borders and ICE, abolition of the current punishment-based justice system. [sic.] We demand for our communities to be empowered to take care of themselves, for no borders, for rehabilitation and healing justice,” the manifesto declares.

The diminutive revolutionary screed claims that it “builds upon the Black Panther Party’s Ten-Point Program,” although the FBI has confirmed that the Black Panther Party “advocated the use of violence and guerilla tactics to overthrow the U.S. government.”

“We are in a moment which calls for us to bravely and ferociously fight for our communal liberation,” which will be launched “in the name of our transgender and gender nonconforming ancestors who struggled before us,” proclaims the GSA Network’s document. “The revolution is a relationship.”

The Walz family signaled its solidarity with the George Floyd/BLM riots, which touched off in Minnesota in May 2020. Gwen Walz said she inhaled the smell of burning tires through her open window in order to feel close to the revolutionary BLM movement. Whistleblowers say Tim Walz ordered police to abandon the third precinct to arsonists, whom Kamala Harris urged her followers to bail out of jail.

The organization’s revolutionary platform, adopted in 2018, is anything but a dead letter: The GSA Network referred to “our TRUTH Nine-Point Platform” last November (specifically, its call for reparations) and quoted the manifesto in its most recent press release in March. (The November press release also demanded U.S. taxpayers furnish “aid to Gaza” and decries “the ongoing colonization and cultural genocide of black and brown peoples.”)

The GSA Network’s Extreme Transgender Agenda

The GSA Network believes in promoting transgender ideology and facilitating children’s transgender “transitions” with or without parental consent. “Know the laws in your state around students’ privacy rights and what you do and don’t have to tell parents/ guardians/families. This is important so you don’t inadvertently out a student as a member of the GSA,” states the GSA Advisor Handbook, aimed at public school teachers like Walz. “When calling youth, it may not be safe to mention ‘GSA club’ or another trans or queer reference.”

The Nine-Point Platform also states “trans youth” should have “self-determination” over “all aspects of our lives.” The GSA Network slammed state laws that protect children from the predatory transgender industry. Laws against “providing gender-affirming healthcare to trans youth … effectively deny trans youth basic human rights and dignity,” claimed GSA in 2020.

At the local level, Mankato West High School’s GSA chapter walked out of class in April 2022 to protest Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Act, which says teachers should not “encourage classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity” before the fourth grade.

The GSA Network also believes in placing teenage boys who say they identify as transgender in female juvenile detention facilities. In a 2017 report co-authored by the Soros-funded Center for American Progress, the GSA Network complained, “LGBTQ youth are frequently placed in facilities according to the sex on their birth certificate or based on their genitalia. … [T]ransgender youth should be housed based on the gender identity they express rather than based on anatomical sex or the sex on their birth certificate.”

Tim Walz has put many of the GSA Network’s political priorities into action as governor of Minnesota. He signed a bill (House File 146) that would take minors into state emergency custody if the child has been “unable to obtain gender-affirming health care” because his parents objected, as well as banning compassionate therapeutic care for people suffering from unwanted transgender feelings. The roots of these policies date back to Walz’s days as a teacher.

Walz’s Action Would Get You Called a ‘Groomer’: LGBT Website

Walz has said publicly that Mankato students came to him about founding a GSA chapter — but his advocacy of the LGBT agenda predates his time at Mankato West High School. While teaching at a high school in Nebraska in the early 1990s, Tim and Gwen Walz took a student who identified as homosexual to a concert by the Indigo Girls, an openly lesbian folk rock group.

The LGBTQ website Them stated that, today, the Walzes’ behavior would be “liable to get you called a ‘groomer.’”

In 1997, two years before the founder of Mankato West’s GSA chapter ever thought of the idea, Gwen Walz announced “out of the blue” on the first day of her 10th grade English class that it would be “a safe space for gay and lesbian students,” according to former student Jacob Reitan. He reportedly told Mrs. Walz about his sexual preference before he told his own parents.

Tim Walz also encouraged children to have frank discussions about adult subject matter at school. One of Walz’s former students, 2004 graduate Seth Elliot Meyer, remembered that Walz “wanted me to be OK with who I was” by embracing a bisexual identity as an impressionable teenager. Another of Walz’s former pupils — Micah Kronlokken, who described himself as “a young, closeted, queer kid” when Walz coached him in the seventh grade — said Tim Walz believed that teenagers should be “treated a little more like adults and trusted to have tricky conversations, and that high school is a microcosm for our world at large.”

Walz later confessed, “To create a culture in a school that was welcoming, open, and understanding” of the LGBTQ movement and its aims “was something that Gwen and I always strove for.”

“Both Tim and Gwen were incredibly supportive of their gay students,” said Reitan, who is now a lawyer and LGBTQ activist. Walz “showed the bully a better path forward, and I can think of no one better than Tim Walz to show that better path forward for America.”

Walz did not defend these policies during his debut on the national stage Wednesday night. Instead, the Harris-Walz campaign appears to be relying on media tropes that brand their political enemies as intolerant hatemongers. In the DNC video, Walz’s former student Noah Hobbs said Walz “stands up to bullies,” repeating the common LGBTQ activist tactic of bullying people of faith, who do not celebrate extreme transgender ideology or sinful sexual relationships, as “bullies.”

Walz has used the same language throughout his political career. While running for governor, Walz asserted that he — as “an older, white, straight, married football coach” — could assure “that there’s no bullying.” During his 2023 his State of the State address, Walz alleged that Republicans “want to put bullies in charge of your health care,” while he would “put bullies in their place. And that’s why we protected access to gender-affirming health care.”

Walz, who has been accused of opportunism, may believe his association with the GSA Network boosts his standing with the Democratic Party’s left-wing base. In a 2018 campaign ad for governor, Walz cited his founding of his school’s GSA chapter as proof that he “can actually deliver on those progressive promises,” because he had “done it in the past.”

Walz’s ties to GSA would send a more concerning signal to the parents of children suffering from Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria (ROGD). Yaeli Martinez first encountered transgender ideology at an LGBTQ high school club. In time, she began to identify as a boy named “Andrew” and ran away from home. Upon learning that her mother, Abigail Martinez, did not support her gender transition, the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services put the underage Yaeli into a group home. In 2019, Yaeli committed suicide by stepping in front of a moving train. (Her heartbreaking story is illustrated in the movie “Gender Transformations: The Untold Realities,” an original production of The Epoch Times.)

The Walz Family: ‘God Creates People … Gay or Straight’

Stories such as these, or those of other detransitioners left with the scars of poor adolescent decisions facilitated by adults, seem unlikely to sway Tim Walz and his wife, who appear to have a religious devotion to LGBT ideology.

“For Ms. Walz, being an ally for gay students was a matter of living up to the tenets of her Christian faith,” reported The New York Times. A spokeswoman for Gwen Walz, Claire Lancaster, told the newspaper that Mrs. Walz holds a “strong belief that God creates people in the way they are supposed to be, whether that is gay or straight.” President Joe Biden has expressed similar sentiments.

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune has described Tim Walz as “steeped in the Catholic social justice traditions of his parents.” However, the Catechism of the Catholic Church explains that sodomy is a grave sin that can never be approved:

“Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that ‘homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.’ They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.”

If Tim Walz rejects the Roman Catholic Church’s binding doctrine on faith and morals, he is also out of step with U.S. voters. Earlier this month, former President Donald Trump contrasted Walz’s extreme views with the mainstream of the American electorate. “This is a ticket that would want this country to go communist immediately, if not sooner,” said Trump. “He’s very heavy into transgender — anything transgender he thinks is great.”

“He’s not where the country is on anything,” Trump concluded.

Waking Up To The Chinese Nuclear Threat

For decades, the U.S. intelligence community and the Pentagon have downplayed China’s nuclear weapons capabilities, saying the Chicoms retained a force of 200-300 warheads as a “minimum deterrent.”

Quietly, over the past five years they have changed those estimates.

The Federation of American Scientists (FAS), a non-governmental group, discovered what appeared to be a massive building program in July 2021 of underground ballistic missile silos in three separate locations.

To disguise the underground facilities from satellites, the Chinese erected giant inflatable air domes over the sites (55×75 meters each!) during the construction phase. Once the air domes were removed months later, FAS says that satellite imagery showed that seven-meter-wide missile silo hatch doors had been installed.

“With approximately 300 apparent silos under construction  – a number that exceeds the number of ICBM silos operated by Russia – and an additional 100-plus road-mobile ICBM launchers, China’s total ICBM force could potentially exceed that of either Russia and the United States in the foreseeable future,” the FAS report concluded.

Let that sink in for a minute. All the U.S. arms control calculations have been based on parity between the United States and the Soviet Union, today the Russian Federation, at roughly 4000 warheads each. What if China had as many warheads as the Russians?

In March, the commander of the U.S. Strategic Command, General Anthony Cotton, repeated estimates other Pentagon officials have put out over the past year that China will have 1000 strategic nuclear warheads by 2030, and 1500 by 2035.

But that is a lowball estimate, intended to keep from alarming the public.

Senator Roger Wicker repeated a phrase Cotton himself had used earlier that China was building its nuclear arsenal at “breakneck” speed.”

“Over the past three years, China has tripled the size of its nuclear arsenal and built an ICBM network larger than our own,” Wicker revealed.

The growing Chinese strategic nuclear weapons arsenal recently prompted the Biden administration to quietly update its nuclear war fighting strategy to focus more clearly on China, according to The NY Times.

The strategy is officially called the Nuclear Weapons Employment Planning Guidance, and is part of the Nuclear Posture Review that occurs every four years.

The last Nuclear Posture Review was issued in 2022. While the details are classified, it is released to Congress and the public so the overall guidelines are public.

The Nuclear Weapons Employment Planning Guidance is developed jointly by the Pentagon and the White House, since it is a guide for policymakers, not just the warfighters.

It makes for chilling reading. In it, the warfighters use an equation to estimate the number and size of nuclear weapons needed to reliably destroy the targets chosen by their political bosses.

They call it “Probability of Arrival”:

“Probability of arrival (PA) is the likelihood the weapon arrives and detonates in the target area, calculated as a product of weapon system reliability (WSR), prelaunch survivability (PLS), and probability to penetrate (PTP). The equation for planners is WSR x PLS x PTP = PA.”

Let me give you a real world calculation. Let’s say, because of reduced defense spending and poor maintenance, the reliability of our strategic nukes is at 85%. I’ll give them a 99% chance of surviving an enemy strike, but with the tremendous increases in missile defense systems in both Russia and China, I’ll give it a 60% of reaching the target.

That gives a Probability of Arrival of just 50%. In other words, we would need twice the number of nukes we have today in our arsenals just to take out Russian targets, and another 4,000 or so to neutralize China.

Those are truly chilling numbers. You can read the public version of the posture review here: https://www.acq.osd.mil/ncbdp/nm/NMHB2020rev/docs/NMHB2020rev_Ch2.pdf

Clearly the next administration is going to need to dramatically increase defense spending and tackle the Chinese nuclear arsenal head on.

I discuss this, as well as the horrible ten year anniversary of the ISIS takeover of the Christian heartland in Iraq’s Nineveh Plain, on this week’s Prophecy Today Weekend. As always, you can listen live at 1 PM on Saturday on 104.9 FM or 550 AM, or by using the Jacksonville Way Radio app.

BREAKING: RFK Jr. Suspends Campaign, Backs Trump.

By: National Pulse, August 23, 2024:

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is suspending his 2024 presidential bid and encouraging his supports to vote for former President Donald J. Trump. The scion of the Kennedy political clan made the announcement during a press conference in Arizona. Speculation is rife that Kennedy will join Trump at an event in the state later this evening.

“Sixteen months ago in April 2023, I launched my campaign for President of the United States,” Kennedy said—thanking the hard work of his supporters, volunteers, and campaign staff. He continued, ominously stating: “In the name of ‘saving democracy’ the Democratic party set out to dismantle it.”

“Many months ago, I promised the American people I’d withdraw from the race if I became a spoiler,” Kennedy continued before announcing he was suspending his campaign and would remove his name from the ballot in about ten battleground states, encouraging his supporters to cast their ballots for former President Trump.

Kennedy’s exit and soft endorsement of Trump could benefit the latter in the 2024 presidential race. Election polls show a close race between Trump and Kamala Harris, and Kennedy has consistently polled between three and five points among voters. This significant slice of the electorate could put Trump over the top in November.

This week, speculation that Kennedy would exit the race hit a fever pitch following a series of public statements made by his running mate, Nicole Shanahan. Late Thursday night, the Kenendy campaign submitted paperwork withdrawing RFK Jr.’s name from the Arizona presidential ballot line.

The National Pulse reported earlier on Friday the Hollywood comedian and Kennedy supporter Rob Schneider posted a letter on X (formerly Twitter) claiming that the independent candidate would, in fact, be dropping from the race and backing former President Trump. In his letter, Scheider himself also stated he’d support Trump in November.

Earlier this month, RFK Jr. said the Democrats under Kamala Harris and Joe Biden would be “unrecognizable” to his uncle, President John F. Kennedy, and father, Robert ‘Bobby’ Kennedy Sr. Meanwhile, a leaked call between Kennedy and Trump following Trump’s near-assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania, revealed the former President discussing the possibility of Kennedy joining the next Trump administration, possibly with a role investigating vaccine safety.

Kamala’s 2024 Dangerous Policies and Radial Agenda website launched

A new website has been launched explaining Kamala’s, and Tim Walz’s, dangerous and radical policies. During her acceptance speech, Kamala did not discuss her policies.

This website does.

WATCH:

According to the Stop Kamala’s Radical Agenda website:

Kamala Harris is Weak, Failed, and Dangerously Liberal

Not only does Kamala Harris own the weakness, failure, and chaos of the Harris-Biden administration, she is so radical that she makes “the Squad” look like moderates. She wants to abolish our borders, let criminals control our streets, surrender our communities to cartels and a plague of fentanyl, wage war on American energy, and destroy the American Dream.

Here are some key parts of Kamala and Tim’s radical agenda:

Fighting to Set Murderers Free

Kamala Harris supported the Minnesota Freedom Fund, helping to bail out now-convicted murderers and violent criminals. One man freed by the bail fund went on to commit murder. She’ll bring the MFF’s policies to the White House.

Harris’s Positions

Kamala Harris actively supports bailing violent criminals out of jail and allowing violent illegal aliens to roam our streets.

Case in point: Kamala Harris called on her supporters to “chip in” to the Minnesota Freedom Fund.

According to new reporting from CNN, that fund went on to bail out at least 65 people in a single county accused of “felony charges involving violence, physical threats or sex crimes. All were convicted.”

The MFF paid bail for looters arrested in the 2020 riots, for a twice-convicted rapist, a man accused of sexually assaulting an eight-year-old girl, a man accused of a vicious assault and robbery, a man charged with attacking a woman in a restaurant bathroom, and even several serial domestic abusers — among dozens of other criminals.

That makes sense considering Kamala Harris supports ending cash bail — even for violent criminals.

More “Bidenomics”—it’s “Working,” Rising Costs are Nothing to Worry About!

Record high gas prices under the Harris-Biden administration are the “price to pay for democracy.” Remember, Kamala proudly delivered the deciding vote that allowed the $1.9 trillion “stimulus” to be passed. Don’t listen to former Obama economist Jason Furman, who said the spending bill is “too big,” or former Obama and Clinton economist Larry Summers, who said the “tremendous wall of money” led to inflation, or former Obama economic advisor Steven Rattner, who called Kamala’s $1.9 trillion stimulus “the original sin” of inflation.

Harris’s Positions

Harris was the deciding vote on the inflation-fueling $1.9 trillion “stimulus.” Harris owns this inflation, and everyone knows it.

Even liberal economists admit Harris’s massive spending spree sent inflation soaring.

Harris now claims her policies are “working” and wants to double down on the exact same agenda that will send prices even higher.

More Taxes to Ensure the Middle-Class Pays Their “Fair Share”

In Kamala’s America, the middle-class will need to pay more. Those are the Harris tax hikes!

Harris’s Positions

Kamala Harris wants to eliminate the Trump tax cuts, which would mean a massive tax hike on middle-income families.

Harris was the deciding vote for the “Inflation Reduction Act,” which decreased the “average after-tax income for taxpayers” at every income level. Americans earning less than $200,000/year saw their taxes rise by $16.7 billion in 2023.

Abolish Borders

Kamala Harris delivered on her promise to open our borders as border czar—just look at the 10 million who have crossed already, an all-time record! Now it’s time to abolish ICE, decriminalize illegal border crossings, give benefits to illegal aliens, and let them vote!

Harris’s Positions

Kamala “Border Czar” Harris is responsible for the worst border crisis in U.S. history.

According to Harris, “the current administration’s immigration policies largely involve undoing the previous one’s work.” Unfortunately, she’s right, and it fueled the invasion.

The chaos we’ve seen though, may be intentional. Kamala Harris said illegal aliens “are not criminals,” and Harris opposed measures to increase border security and decrease illegal immigration.

Bring Back the Green New Deal

Kamala Harris believes American energy is just plain awful. Thankfully, she knows other countries we can import it from. That’s why she wants to ban fossil fuels, ban fracking, end oil drilling, and export our energy supply chain to China. Her $100 trillion GND would do just that, in addition to ending all of those 2 million “dirty” energy jobs. They need to “transition” to new ones!

Harris’s Positions

Harris bragged about delivering “the most ambitious climate agenda in history.” What does that really mean? Hurting our environment, national security, and economy by exporting our energy supply chain to Communist China.

During her campaign for president, Harris said “there’s no question, I’m in favor of banning fracking. She also touted an agreement to phase out fossil fuels, supported cancelling the Keystone XL pipeline, which killed 11,000 jobs, and Harris called the record-high gas prices seen under the Biden administration the “price to pay for democracy.”

Indeed, Harris’ commitment to killing American energy is not new. As senator, Kamala Harris cosponsored the radical $93 trillion Green New Deal with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, which estimates show could kill up to 2 million jobs and cost an average family $165,000. In 2017, Harris sponsored legislation to ban offshore drilling.

On top of it all, she wants to ban practically everything, including expressing support for banning plastic straws and a national reduction in red meat consumption.

Kamala Believes in Freedom for Individuals Associated with Violent Behavior. (Formally Referred to as Violent Criminals)

Kamala will continue her record from her time as a prosecutor, where San Francisco police officers said she was slow to prosecute numerous murder suspects and said she regularly offered favorable plea deals to resolve cases out of trial.

Harris’s Positions

Harris supports defunding the police. As even CNN reports, her record supporting defund the police is a long one. She said it is “outdated, it is wrongheaded thinking to think” that more police officers make communities safer, and Harris has repeatedly called to “reimagine” the role of police.

As senator, Harris praised L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti’s $150 million cut in police funding.

When given the opportunity, Harris failed to prosecute criminals to the fullest extent of the law.

  • As San Francisco DA, Harris chose not to seek the death penalty against the murderer of a Hispanic San Francisco police officer, or against an illegal immigrant MS-13 gang member who shot a father and his two sons. And police accused Harris of being slow to prosecute numerous murder suspects and said she regularly offered favorable plea deals to resolve cases out of trial.
    • In 2010, Harris’ DA office had to dismiss over 1,000 drug cases due to a scandal in the police crime lab, with Harris taking “full responsibility” for the failure.
    • Harris’ DA office granted probation to a violent criminal who then went on to murder two men while released.

To make matters worse, Harris said that we should have a “conversation” about whether terrorists like the Boston Marathon bomber should vote from prison.

Ending “Wrongheaded Thinking” That More Police Mean Safer Communities

Kamala Harris was proud to join the Defund The Police movement in 2020. She boldly said the protests “should not” let up and applauded then-L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti for defunding the LA Police.

Eliminate Private Health Insurance

Kamala Harris believes it’s terrible people have private health insurance, and that even if they like their plan, they shouldn’t get to keep it. Under Harris’s plan, all Americans would lose their health insurance in the name of fairness. That’s why she cosponsored a $32 trillion socialist health care takeover plan to make sure that everybody loses choice!

Harris’s Positions

Harris supports abolishing private insurance. She even cosponsored Bernie Sanders’ $32 trillion socialist health care takeover bill.

When asked about her plan, and specifically on if people who like their plan could keep it, she said “let’s eliminate all of that.”

To add insult to injury, while denying Americans insurance, she supports providing taxpayer-funded health insurance for illegal immigrants. Studies also show that her plan would also lead to as many as 50% of rural hospitals closing their doors.

Give Social Security and Medicare to Illegal Aliens

Kamala believes it’s selfish that seniors want to ensure benefits only go to American citizens. They should pay for benefits for illegal aliens! Who cares if that destroys the program. Kamala believes illegal aliens should receive taxpayer-funded benefits, and while she’s at it, she wants to expand the government takeover even if it puts over 50% of rural hospitals out of business. Move to a city!

Harris’s Positions

During the Harris-Biden administration seniors saw the largest ever Medicare Part B premium increase in 2022, jumping 14.5 percent.

Democrats still have NO PLAN to protect Social Security and Medicare benefits — and that tells you all you need to know, especially since Harris wants to give benefits to tens of millions of illegal aliens, which would destroy the program entirely.

The Bottom Line

It is critical for every legal American voter to understand the policies of the Harris/Walz ticket and the Trump/Vance ticket.

Here are the 20 items on the RNC’s Platform for 2024.

  1. Seal the border and stop the migrant invasion.
  2. Carry out the largest deportation operation in American history.
  3. End inflation, and Make America Affordable Again.
  4. Make America the dominant energy producer in the world, by far!
  5. Stop outsourcing, and turn the United States into a manufacturing superpower.
  6. Large tax cuts for workers, and No Tax On Tips!
  7. Defend our Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our fundamental freedoms, including freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to keep and bear arms.
  8. Prevent World War III, restore peace in Europe and in the Middle East, and build a great iron dome missile defense shield over our entire country – all made in America.
  9. End the weaponization of government against the American people.
  10. Stop the migrant crime epidemic, demolish foreign drug cartels, crush gang violence, and lock up violent offenders.
  11. Rebuild our cities, including Washington DC, making them safe, clean, and beautiful again.
  12. Strengthen and modernize our military, making it, without question, the strongest and most powerful in the world.
  13. Keep the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency.
  14. Fight for and protect Social Security and Medicare with NO CUTS, including no changes in the retirement age.
  15. Cancel the electric vehicle mandate and cut costly burdensome regulations.
  16. Cut federal funding for any school pushing Critical Race Theory, Radical Gender Ideology, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our children.
  17. Keep men OUT of women’s sports.
  18. Deport pro-Hamas radicals and make our college campuses safe and patriotic again.
  19. Secure our elections, including same day voting, voter identification, paper ballots, and proof of citizenship.
  20. Unite our country by bringing it to new and record levels of success.

As we have said before “It’s their policies, stupid!”

Choose wisely.

RFK Jr. Says In Court Filing He Will Endorse Trump

Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said in court filings he will endorse former President Donald Trump on Friday, The Associated Press reported.

Kennedy submitted court filings in Pennsylvania on Friday prior to his speech addressing the nation about his “path forward”, according to The Associated Press. Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, also alluded to the possibility that Kennedy would “join forces” with the Republican nominee on Wednesday.

“There’s two options that we’re looking at and one is staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Walz presidency because we draw votes from Trump, we draw somehow more votes from Trump,” Shanahan told Tom Bilyeu, host of the “Impact Theory” podcast, on Tuesday. “Or we walk away right now and join forces with … Donald Trump and you know, we walk away from that and explain to our base why we’re making this decision.”

Trump responded on Thursday to circulating reports about Kennedy’s withdrawal and potential endorsement, saying that he “would be honored” to gain the independent candidate’s support. Trump remarked on Kennedy’s character, saying that his “heart is in the right place,” while also recalling that the Democratic Party treated him “very badly” by barring him from debates and imposing rules that advantaged Biden.

“He’s a – as you know, he is a little different kind of a guy, very smart guy, a very good person. If he endorsed me, I would be honored by it, I would be very honored by it,” Trump told “Fox & Friends” co-hosts Ainsley Earhardt, Lawrence Jones, Brian Kilmeade and guest host Will Cain on Thursday. “He really has his heart in the right place, he is a respected person. Women love some of his policies and I guess some people don’t like some of his policies. But, overall, I thought the Democrats, he was a Democrat, I don’t know what he is right now, but he was a Democrat, they treated him very badly.”

Shanahan also called out Democrats for their treatment of Kennedy’s candidacy in a post on X from Thursday.

“When I point out what the Democratic Party and their super PACs have done to sabotage our campaign, their response is always, ‘but Trump is worse,’” Shanahan said in the post. “Here’s an idea: stop suing us. Let us debate. Quit rigging the media and the polls. It’s a simple formula, people—get with it.”

Kennedy announced he would be continuing to run as an independent in October, criticizing the Democratic Party for impeding his candidacy. Kennedy also differentiated himself from party-line Democrats over his opinion on censorshipvaccine mandates, illegal immigration and the ongoing Ukraine-Russia war.

After Biden bowed out of the race in July and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, Kennedy’s polling numbers plummeted.

Prior to Biden’s withdrawal, multiple polls showed Kennedy with double-digit support. A Forbes/HarrisX poll from June put Kennedy at 16%, with Trump leading Biden by 5 points, drawing 41% and 36%, respectively.

Kennedy’s support dropped to as low as 2% as of early August, according to an Economist/YouGov poll. Since Democrats swapped the top of the ticket, Harris has gained a two point edge over Trump with the candidates polling at 45% and 43%, respectively, according to the poll.

MUST WATCH VIDEOS: From Vasectomy Vans To Hotties For Harris, The DNC Was Truly A Freak Show

Throughout the Democratic National Convention, Democrats made a big show out of being “normal,” of standing for “freedom” and traditional, patriotic values. They did their best, but of course it is all a lie; there’s nothing normal about them.

Allow me to guide you through the Democrats’ wondrous world of human freaks and oddities. But first, we must get inside!

Careful, this is a dangerous path. Stay alert as we wade through the crowds of unwashed protesters — rabid, the lot of them.

Feast your eyes on a veritable buffet of causes. Do you want to see the destruction of Israel? Care to donate to Hamas? Perhaps trans rights are more your speed. Or, think bigger: the true idealists here want global intifada or worldwide communist revolution. Purple hair here; blue hair there; is that a man or a woman?

“Excuse me sir, would you like an American flag to burn?”

Over there, you’ll see Planned Parenthood’s free spay and neuter clinic. Excuse me, I mean free abortion and vasectomy “health” unit. Because nothing says “family values” like a mobile clinic for life’s little oopsie-daisies.

“Step right up, folks, get your reproductive rights sorted while you finger paint a Hamas flag!”

And what’s this? A girl holding a sign with the N-word boldly emblazoned. Is this a vicious “white supremacist?” Who’s to say. She may be an over-zealous theater kid striving for an A+ in Performance Art.  Or, like the rest of her fellow travelers, perhaps it’s all a desperate plea for attention.

Now, let’s venture inside where the real circus begins.

It appears we’re too late to see our Dear Leader. Joe Biden might be the President, but that still didn’t secure him a prime time spot. No, the shadowy figures behind the curtains could not allow that. Biden went on some time ago, in the wee hours of the night. Some say you can still hear his voice trailing off if you listen very closely…

Up next, we see the King and Queen of the Democratic Party — although who’s to say which title belongs to whom. The Obamas have reigned supreme for over a decade, yet still they bristle with resentment. What’s that Michelle? You say you’ll “never benefit” from “generational wealth.” Perhaps you should have skipped the  $3,000 pantsuit for this speech.

Here, take this prophylactic before we head into the next exhibit. You can never be too careful around these ladies.

Take a look at the Hotties for Harris. Here you’ll find everything you need to slut it up at the DNC: Plan B from a gumball machine, pregnancy tests and UTI treatments. There’s even a bad bitch boxing corner. And if it wasn’t all Mean Girl enough, there’s a wall of hotties and a wall of notties. All we need now is a Burn Book.

Who’s that stomping onto stage? Here comes Tim Walz, the gesticulating governor from Minnesota. A wave here, a raised fist there, watch as he directs an invisible orchestra with a stride in his step. Is he really such a dorky dad, or is he a beady-eyed communist in disguise? You have to respect his acting chops.

And it looks like he passed down the acting genes. “I love you dad,” cries Little Timmy from the balcony. Watch him stand and cheer, waving almost as madly as the old man. Like father, like son; but how many times did he rehearse this in front of the mirror?

Speaking of the kiddos, take a look at Kamala Harris’ beloved step daughter. She crawled out of the sewers of Bushwick just to show her support. Her tapestry of tattoos tells the story of her life, but her camo Harris-Walz hat is the real statement piece. What’s this quirky girl doing wearing hunting gear? Irony — it’s all the rage these days. She’s wearing it because she thinks it’s ugly, and she wants you to know what she thinks of the people who earnestly share her tastes.

Alas, we approach the end of our pageant of peculiarities. But don’t worry, you can still leave with a souvenir. You record a Tik Tok dance for posterity. If Gen-Z goes somewhere and doesn’t do a TikTok dance, did they ever really leave the house?

Democrats talk a good talk, but they can’t walk the walk. No matter what they do, the weirdness shines through. Sadly, our tour of the DNC has come to an end. But don’t fret. If our screwball heroes prevail in November, you’ll get another four years of the freak show.

Democrat Platform Says America Was Built on Stolen Land

And therefore should not exist.

The DNC 2016 party platform began by claiming that “Democrats meet in Philadelphia with the same basic belief that animated the Continental Congress when they gathered here 240 years ago.” Four years later, out went the Continental Congress and all of America.

The 2020 DNC platform began with a politically fashionable ‘land acknowledgement’ asserting that America was an illegitimate entity operating on stolen land “built on Indigenous homelands.”

The 2024 platform likewise begins with a ‘land acknowledgement’ claiming that Chicago properly belongs to 13 different Indian tribes. Once again, the DNC asserts that they “recognize that our country was built on Indigenous homelands.” That is to say America should not exist.

If the Democrats truly believe it, why not turn over Chicago to the Indian tribes?

Land acknowledgements were initiated by an Australian Marxist terrorist supporter at a counterculture festival in the 1970s. Its goal was to establish that Australians were foreigners and had to follow aboriginal laws and culture. 50 years later the practice, grounded in ‘decolonization’ has been widely adopted by American leftists and their ruling party.

Land acknowledgements are a form of historical revisionism, like the 1619 Project and destroying Columbus statues, that are paving the way for delegitimizing America.

The DNC transplanting them to Chicago demonstrates a whole new level of historical and scientific illiteracy. The Indians are not “native to this continent” unless the party’s new scientific consensus, which already believes that men can become women, also believes in separate human origins for different races (a racist 19th century belief once held by Democrats.)

Nor have they been here “since time immemorial”, but were Asian populations who crossed the Bering Strait in early human history. (The theory is unpopular with many Indian tribes.)

The DNC platform claims that Chicago was really the property of the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi, along with the  Myaamia, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Sac and Fox, Peoria, Kaskaskia, Wea, Kickapoo, and Mascouten Indians. But what actually happened to those tribes?

The Ojibwe, Odawa, Potawatomi, Fox, Kickapoo and many of the others on the list allied with the British in the War of 1812. During the war, they carried out brutal atrocities such as the Potawatomi massacre of women and children during the evacuation from Fort Dearborn. (The massacre has become politically incorrect and monuments to the victims have been removed.)

The DNC land acknowledgement boasts that it made the Prairie Band of Potawatomi the “first federally recognized Tribal Nation in Illinois in 175 years.”

The Democrat platform claims that Chicago was the “traditional homelands of the Anishinaabe, also known as the Council of the Three Fires: the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi Nations.”

That would have been news to them.

The Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi moved around quite a bit. They were forced westward by Iroquois expansionism. Some of the tribes to whom the DNC wants to assign Chicago were actually living in what is today Canada. There was no eternal Indian homeland in Chicago (named after a foul smelling plant) just a place different tribes passed through in between wars with each other and through alliances and wars with different Europeans. Like the War of 1812.

The United States and Great Britain ended the war with the Treaty of Ghent. Article Nine of the treaty mandated that the United States also conclude all hostilities with Indian tribes and “restore to such Tribes or Nations respectively all the possessions, rights, and privileges” so long as they “agree to desist from all hostilities against the United States of America.”

Some tribes chose to end hostilities, others moved with the British to Canada, and still others continued to engage in attacks. The tribes and smaller groups made and broke alliances with the British, the French and the Americans based on their perceived interests. They were not a fundamentally different “native people” with nobler, peaceful and more spiritual values. That is white liberal noble savage nonsense. They were colonists, warriors and hunters, like the Europeans, but without the same level of civilizational development or technology.

The DNC’s land acknowledgment fails to address any of this thorny history or answer the question of whether the Democrats, whose original party foolishly started the War of 1812 while being unprepared to fight it, would have been better off losing the war and the country.

Would Kamala prefer a world in which the British not only burned the White House but retained possession of it because that is what her party’s idiotic ‘land acknowledgment’ amounts to.

Instead the DNC reduces the Indians to magical “indigenous” people who “have been here since time immemorial” and “protected our lands, waters, and animals.”

The Indian tribes did not protect land and animals, they used them as hunting grounds.

Whatever human population existed in the Americas (which likely little resembled the modern conception of Indian tribes) probably led to the extinction of the megafauna, such as the mammoth and the saber-toothed tiger. They in turn were probably exterminated by the Indians, much as the more indigenous Hawaiians were enslaved and killed by the Polynesian colonists.

The Indians had more trouble hunting herd animals to extinction than they did apex predators, but that was because they lacked the technology to wipe out entire species. And those who did, like the Mayans and the Mound Builders (who built pyramids in Illinois and had more right to a DNC land acknowledgement) lacked the technology to survive overhunting a food species.

The myth of Indians valuing and preserving wildlife only to have Americans swoop in and destroy species like the bison or the passenger pigeon is more white liberal noble savage nonsense. While some tribes sensibly took steps to limit the impact of their hunting, others gleefully killed as many animals as they could. Indian creation myths left them with little grasp of the possibility of species extinction and refused to accept it when it was explained to them.

Perhaps the DNC could tell us how hunting bison by driving them off cliffs in huge numbers entailed protecting animals. Or killing entire herds of bison just for their tongues.

Given horses, rifles and a market demand for bison, beaver and other animals, the Indian tribes engaged in large scale killing of animals whose existence they took for granted.

The death of the bison and the passenger pigeon were more due to the Indians than Americans.

But the DNC is not interested in turning over Chicago to the Indians. No more than it is interested in real history and real Indians. Much as black people are to the 1619 Project, the Indians are to land acknowledgements as only a means to delegitimize America.

The DNC’s continuing use of land acknowledgements is more than an accident.

While the 2016 Democrat platform at least tipped the hat to the Founding Fathers, the 2024 platform makes a point of rejecting their work and the entire notion of America.

In a paragraph proposing slavery reparations and a study of “the continuing impacts of slavery” (which ended over 150 years ago), the DNC 2024 platform sarcastically jabs at the Declaration of Independence by endorsing ‘equity’ and contends that “we have a long way to go to realize the full promise of America, but we are committed as a party to continuing the work to build a nation where all people are not only created equal, but treated equally throughout their lives.” There is understandably no mention of the “inalienable rights” that come next since the purpose of equity is to eliminate individual rights and make the state absolute in all things.

The only mentions of the “constitution” in the DNC 2024 platform involve either attacking former President Trump or falsely claiming that there is some constitutional right to killing infants in the womb. Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson, once seen as the founders of the party, are absent, the only Jackson in the document is Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Democrats claim that they want to “ensure the promise of America for everyone, including black, Latino, and Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Americans”, but what is that promise and where was it made? The DNC platform does not know or care.

America, in the DNC view, is an unfulfilled “promise” of equality that their party intends to fulfill through equity. What it is not is exceptional. Its history is of no interest. It is a bunch of racists living on stolen Indian land. And the mission of the Democrats is to put an end to America through a totalitarian state for which the DNC platform is only a partial blueprint.

Tim Walz Doubles Down on Pornographic Books in School at DNC

Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz sided with radical LGBTQ activists and public school administrators in their bid to make pornographic books available to minors during his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Wednesday night.

Walz, the governor of Minnesota, told the assembled DNC delegates he happily opposed parents’ wishes to protect their children’s innocence. “While other states were banning books from their schools, we were banishing hunger from ours,” said Walz.

The book “Gender Queer” by Maia Kobabe, which is consistently reported as the book parents object to the most, contains multiple graphic images illustrating homosexual sex, sometimes between adolescents.

Another controversial book, “Lawn Boy” by Jonathan Evison, features a character who casually reveals that, as a child, he performed fellatio on a grown man. “I was in fourth grade. It was no big deal,” the character said. “It wasn’t terrible.”

Concerned parents would like to see these books, which are often available to minors of any age, moved to an age-restricted area of the library, where they would be available to minors only with their parents’ permission. But Democrats have repeatedly accused them of censorship and voted to keep the books on school shelves.

“This is a big part of what this election is about: freedom,” said Walz in a 17-minute address. “When Republicans use the word freedom, they mean the government should be free to invade your doctor’s office.” It was not clear if Walz’s comments referred to transgender procedures for minors or abortion-on-demand until the moment of birth, both of which he favors.

Accusing parents who refuse to furnish pornography to their children of supporting “book bans” has been a leitmotif of the 2024 Democratic convention, with former First Lady Michelle Obama sounding similar themes on Tuesday. Just before Walz took the stage, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (D) — whom Harris ruled out as a potential running mate to avoid offending anti-Israeli protesters — defined children’s ability to override their parents’ wishes vis-à-vis reading sexually explicit material as an essential component of freedom.

“It’s not freedom to tell our children what books they’re allowed to read. No, it’s not!” said Shapiro. “And it’s not freedom to tell women what they can do with their body.”

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg concluded his speech Wednesday night by shouting that Democrats “embrace the leaders who are out there building bridges and reject the ones who are out there banning books!”

Longstanding talk show host and New Age practitioner Oprah Winfrey made her first appearance at a Democratic convention Wednesday night and joined in on the “book ban” bandwagon, decrying “people who want to scare you, who want to rule you, people who would have you believe that books are dangerous.” She also warned about “tricks and tropes meant to distract us from what really matters.” Democrats often define GOP opposition to left-wing culture wars as a “distraction.”

Walz and his fellow Democrats went on to include the ability to take unborn life as an unalienable aspect of “freedom.” Walz boasted, “We also protected reproductive freedom” in Minnesota, where he signed a bill essentially codifying abortion until birth, with no protections for the unborn child at any stage of development.

“We are the party of real freedom,” Shapiro declared to his fellow Democrats. “Real freedom comes when [an American] can join a union, marry who she loves, start a family on her own terms,” a euphemism for abortion-on-demand. In a video aired at the DNC on Wednesday evening, a man said he defined freedom as being able to love his “husband.”

Winfrey tied the availability of abortion to the American dream. “If you do not have autonomy over this,” she said, gesturing to her midsection, “if you cannot control — women — how you choose to bring your children into this world and how they are raised and supported, there is no American dream.”

Walz and others went further, comingling their support for the taking of unborn life (and, at times, for sodomy) with the Golden Rule and other biblical themes. “We respect our neighbors and the personal choices they make — even if we wouldn’t make these same choices for ourselves. We’ve got a Golden Rule: Mind your own damned business,” said Walz, misquoting the Golden Rule laid down by Jesus to love all human life.

Senator Cory Booker (D-N.J.), who acted as emcee for the evening, also invented Bible verses as he vowed Kamala Harris would support “LGBTQ rights, reproductive rights, the right to marry who you love, the right to be free.”

“We’re not going to lose our faith,” Booker said. “I believe in America, because our elders told us, as the Gospel says, ‘We shall overcome.’” The Bible does not say, “We shall overcome,” which is the title of a Gospel song that became associated with the 1960s civil rights movement.

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), who would be the next Speaker of the House if Democrats take control of the lower chamber, alternately quoted Taylor Swift and the Book of Psalms as he promised to “protect our DREAMers, and always protect a woman’s freedom to make her own reproductive health care decisions.”

“We are one nation under God,” said Jeffries just moments later. “In the Old Testament, Book of Psalms, the Scripture tells us that weeping may endure during the long night, but joy will come in the morning.”

His predecessor, Speaker of the House Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) saluted Kamala Harris as “a person of deep faith,” a trait for which Harris has not been known. “She is a leader of strength and wisdom and eloquence on policy, most recently demonstrated fighting for a woman’s right to choose” abortion on demand. Pelosi also saluted Harris for “quickly securing the nomination.”

In a speech MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow called “weird and meander-y,” 78-year-old former President Bill Clinton put the fight for abortion and sexual liberation in a different worldview. “We know that we’re being asked to fight the same fight that the forces of progress have had to fight for the last 250 years,” he insisted.

Buttigieg, who often accused his opponents of using “faith as a cudgel” during the 2020 primaries, said Wednesday night that his Republican foes support “darkness — darkness is what they are selling.”

“I believe in a better politics,” he said, citing his Episcopalian church background. Proof of a brighter future, to him, came in the nation’s rapid about-face on redefining marriage. The legal recognition of same-sex marriage “was literally impossible” 25 years ago, he noted. “This kind of life went from impossible to possible … in less than half a lifetime.”

Buttigieg also claimed same-sex marriage triumphed through “persuasion” and “politics.” In fact, voters in 31 states (including California) protected natural marriage, only to have their elections overturned by judicial activists on the Supreme Court in 2015’s Obergefell opinion.

Kamala Harris will deliver her acceptance speech on Thursday night.

What Do the Trump and Harris Campaigns Say about the America They Want to See?

A political campaign can, should, and very often does tell the American public something about who the candidate is that’s running the campaign. There are, of course, some basic questions, common to any job application, that a campaign should answer: What are your qualifications? What are your achievements and accomplishments? What are your goals and ambitions? In a political campaign — especially a presidential campaign — there are some additional yet crucial questions: Who are you? Who are you running against? What is your vision for America?

In these days of vitriol and polarization, the latter slate of questions, and the final one in particular, have become of paramount importance. Both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have White House experience; each can point to achievements and accomplishments (whether factual or falsified); and the goals and ambitions of each candidate are necessarily wrapped up in the question of “What is your vision for America?” Thus, as political solutions to pressing problems are more desperately sought, the answers to the questions “Who are you? Who are you running against? What is your vision for America?” become of greater and greater significance.

The Harris campaign makes no bones about the current vice president’s vision for America. As if her policies — open borders resulting in rampant crime, abortion extremism, LGBT worship, and the aggressive prosecution of pro-life and Christian Americans — aren’t enough of an indication already, Harris reiterates her ambitions for America’s future in her inaugural campaign ad. That ad explicitly asks, “What kind of country do we want to live in?” The answer for Harris is simple: video footage shows Harris spending time with LGBT activists and abortion devotees. There is no room in Harris’s America for straight, white men, for Christians, for pro-lifers, or for anyone, it seems, who isn’t as far-left as Harris herself.

The vice president’s choice of running mate further confirms this. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) is, if it’s at all possible, just as pro-LGBT and pro-abortion as Harris. He has supported unrestricted abortions up to birth, gruesome gender transition procedures for children, and proudly presided over the destruction of Minneapolis in the BLM riots of 2020.

Harris is also staffing her campaign with the kind of people she wants to see more of in America. The Washington Stand previously reported that the Harris campaign is asking job applicants to choose from a slate of “neo-pronouns” if they want to help the vice president become the president. The Harris campaign is also requiring that staffers have the controversial COVID-19 shot.

Thus far, the Harris campaign still has no policies listed on its website, even though the Democratic National Convention has decided this week on a party platform. Harris has also continued to avoid media interviews and even shied away from debates against her political opponent. However, she never turns down an opportunity to vilify her challenger, calling Trump a harbinger “of chaos, of fear, of hate.” During the first night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Trump was mentioned nearly 150 times by Harris and her allies, while issues like “the economy” and “inflation” garnered a combined total of 30 mentions.

So what is Harris’s vision for America? According to the campaign she’s running, it would seem to be LGBT activism, abortion extremism, a dozen made-up pronouns and “gender identities,” the resurgence of COVID hysteria, and the demonization of political dissidents — in this case meaning about half the country.

And what kind of campaign is Trump running? Unlike Harris, the 45th president actually speaks to reporters, hosts solo press conferences, and generally seems comfortable speaking without a teleprompter. In late June, when debating then-presumptive Democratic nominee and President Joe Biden, Trump said, “I wish he was a great president because I wouldn’t be here right now. I’d be at one of my many places enjoying myself. I wouldn’t be under indictment because I wouldn’t have been his political opponent. Because he indicted me because I was his opponent.” He continued, “I wish he was a great president. I would rather have that. I wouldn’t be here. I don’t mind being here, but the only reason I’m here is he’s so bad as a president that I’m going to make America great again.”

Trump tells the American people who he is. More than that, he shows the American people who he is. Just a few weeks after the debate, when Trump was shot in the side of the head at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania last month, he pushed his security detail aside to face the crowd of his supporters — and the shooter — and raise his fist while telling his countrymen to fight for their nation. He demonstrated to the American people that he is a man of courage, a man willing not just to fight for his country but, if need be, die for his country.

And who is Trump running against? The former president has received much criticism — including from his own party — for his attacks against Harris, from questioning her racial identity to highlighting the failures and flawed policies on her record. Among the chief of those failures and flawed policies in Trump’s crosshairs are Harris’s immigration and economic policies. One of the Trump campaign’s latest ads took footage of Harris at one of her own presidential campaign rallies discussing inflation: “A loaf of bread costs 50% more today than it did before the pandemic. Ground beef is up almost 50%,” Harris said. Trump’s team cut the clip there and added, “I’m Donald Trump and I approve this message” over the former president’s campaign logo. The Trump campaign has also launched documentary-style ads compiling news clips reporting on violent crimes committed by illegal immigrants allowed in the U.S. by the incumbent Biden-Harris administration.

But Trump’s vision for America is slightly less clear. Where Harris takes a strong and even an extreme stance on such issues as abortion and the LGBT agenda, Trump’s 2024 campaign has not been as clear as his campaign four years ago. His attention is focused, almost solely it seems, on mass deportations and tackling inflation. While these positions are, no doubt, of great importance to Americans, they are far from comprehensive.

The nation is, as Trump himself has declared on numerous occasions, in steep decline. Economic disaster and a seeming flood of illegal immigrants are part of the problem, but they do not address the problem in its entirety. What of morality? What of the slaughter of innocent unborn babies? What of marriage and family? Trump has told the American people who he is, he has shown the American people who he is running against, but what is his vision for America? Does it really stop at low gas prices and a border wall?

‘We Need Answers’: China Watchers Sound Alarm On Walz’s Cozy Relationship With Beijing

Lawmakers and China experts told the Daily Caller they have grave concerns about Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz and his close ties with Beijing.

Since Vice President Kamala Harris chose the Minnesota governor as her running mate, he has largely received positive coverage as “folksy,” “joyful” and a “midwestern dad.” But critics have honed in on Walz’s past with China, which includes a honeymoon to the country, a wedding on the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre and the praising of the country’s communist system. China watchers believe that Walz’s relationship with China should be of concern as he inches closer to the White House.

“Governor Walz should answer to the American people why he took 30 trips to China, mostly paid for in part or in full by the Chinese Communist Party. But more importantly, Kamala Harris should explain why she supports radical left-wing policies like ending fossil fuels and slashing our defense budget—policies that would be a gift to China,” Republican Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton told the Daily Caller.

Walz has visited China at least 30 times throughout his life, according to the New York Times. One of the trips to the country occurred when he was a fellow at Macau Polytechnic University, a Chinese state-run institution, according to the National Review. Harris’ running mate held the fellow position while he was a member of Congress.

One man, Shad, who claimed to have joined Walz on one of his trips to the country, shared concerns about his affinity for the Chinese government with Alpha News, a local Minnesota outlet.

“It was almost a daily revelation of how much he adores the communist regime,” the former student told Alpha News.

“He’s a Maoist to the core and should not be underestimated,” Shad, who asked the outlet not to use his last name, said to Alpha News.

Walz’s first visit to the country occurred in 1989 during that fellowship and not long after the Tiananmen Square massacre, multiple outlets reported.

The Minnesota governor married his wife on June 4, 1994, the fifth anniversary of the massacre, the BBC reported. Walz’s wife later said that “he wanted to have a date he’ll always remember.”

“It’s disturbing that the Democratic Party is lining up to nominate Tim Walz after he brushed off socialism as ‘neighborliness’ and praised Chinese communism as a system in which ‘everyone shares.’ He fits perfectly with Kamala Harris, who has repeatedly called for a society that creates equal outcomes for all Americans,” the Vice President of Heritage Action, Ryan Walker, told the Caller.

While teaching a high school social studies class in 1991, Walz praised the Chinese communist system. Walz taught his class that “everyone shares” and gets free food and housing from the Chinese communist government, according to the resurfaced newspaper piece first reported by the Washington Free Beacon.

The teacher went on to praise how people paid no taxes in the late 1970s and got 30 pounds of free food per month, the newspaper article states.

“This appears not to be some quirky snapshot of Walz’s 1990s thinking that he has since renounced, as it is echoed in the food price controls proposed recently by the Harris-Walz campaign, which have been slammed as naïve and destructive by critics across the political spectrum,” Adam Savit, director of America First Policy Institute’s China policy initiative, told the Caller.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer penned a letter on Aug. 16 on behalf of Congressional Republicans to launch an investigation into Walz and his ties to China. Comer asked FBI Director Christopher Wray for all documents relating to any Chinese entities that the now-governor may have interacted with while on his trips to the country. The chairman explained in his letter that it had come to the committee’s attention that Walz had “longstanding connections to CCP-connected entities and officials.”

“Governor Walz’s apparent fascination with and connections to the Chinese Communist Party are troubling to the Committee,” Comer told the Caller in a statement. “The Chinese Communist Party actively exploits trips to China and positions at their universities in an effort to co-opt influential figures to the benefit of the communist regime and to destabilize America.”

“What’s good for the CCP is often bad for America. The CCP appears to have recognized something valuable in Governor Walz, and every American should be concerned about his soft-on-China history,” he continued.

When Walz was 25 years old, he told one of his former college professors that he was “being treated like a king” in China, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

“No matter how long I live, I’ll never be treated that well again,” Walz said at the time to Times-Herald. “They gave me more gifts than I could bring home. It was an excellent experience.”

Harris’ running mate also previously spoke on the relationship between China and the United States, saying in 2016 that it does not necessarily need to be “adversarial.” On another occasion, the Minnesota governor explained that he is “pretty friendly with China.”

WATCH: Tim Walz: “I’m pretty friendly with China”

Since Harris tapped Walz to be her running mate about two weeks ago, the governor hasn’t answered questions about the China concerns. Similarly, the vice president has not done a sit-down interview or a press conference since launching her campaign for president. Harris is yet to unveil a policy platform, leaving the American people in the dark on the vice president’s stance on a variety of issues, such as foreign policy.

“I expect a potential Harris administration to continue the Biden policies toward China, as those policies reflected the new bipartisan consensus generated by Trump’s successful China policy which relied on heavy tariffs, strategic decoupling, and export controls to create leverage against the CCP regime. But how would we know?” Savit said.

“Harris has avoided any substantive interviews in the near-month since she became the de facto Democrat nominee. China is the most important challenge to our future security and prosperity, and we have no idea about what one of the major party presidential candidates proposes to do about it. We need answers,” he continued.
