President Donald Trump announced the release of declassified documents he said are evidence that China has been meddling in U.S. elections by hacking into voter registration databases and by other means.
Trump, who spoke Thursday evening in a prime time address to the nation, said the “deep state” had this information and suppressed it from the president and Congress.
“They kept it secret and hidden. Did not disclose to me or Congress,” Trump said.
“No country can be great without fair and honest elections,” Trump said. “You have to trust your country because if there can be no trust, there can be no greatness.”
The president said that China conducted a massive hacking of voter registration information.
“The People’s Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China’s illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files,” Trump said.
He said the information includes names, addresses, phone numbers, political party preferences, and other data.
“This data loss presents an unprecedented election, security nightmare,” the president added.
At least a portion of the declassified information was released Thursday night.
The point of the hacking, according to Trump, was to steal information about thousands of voters. He also said information from 2018 and 2019 shows that Chinese operatives wanted to harm Trump so he would be forced to resign or be defeated in his reelection bid.
“The Chinese government wanted U.S. president to lose the next election and the reason they wanted me to lose is because they knew I was wise to them, charged them billions in tariffs, and built the largest military in the world,” Trump said.
Trump, who has long disputed his 2020 loss to Joe Biden, also said the FBI found China attempted to manufacture ballots in favor of Biden.
“Raw intelligence obtained by the FBI in 2020, yet buried by rogue bureaucrats, stated that China’s activities even included an attempt to manufacture illegal ballots for Joe Biden,” Trump said.
The president further said China paid U.S. journalists to write negative stories about him during his first term.
“The Chinese government sought to identify U.S. journalists who had reported negatively on the U.S. president and pay them large sums of money to write more negative articles about him, as many as they could, and they did not care what they said,” Trump asserted.
Trump said elections were “vulnerable and easily compromised and people within our government knew that.”
The Department of Homeland Security has information showing about 278,000 registered voters are foreigners, Trump said.
“According to the DHS review, state voter rolls and public records, they identified approximately 278,000 non-citizens who are registered to vote in federal elections,” Trump said. “Since Democrat states refused to share their voter files, the real number is actually much higher than that.”
The address comes as Trump is pushing Congress to pass the SAVE America Act, which would require photo identification to vote and proof of citizenship to register to vote. The president, as he concluded his remarks, made a passionate plea for Congress to pass the legislation.
In March 2021, during the early months of the Biden administration, the Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security issued a joint report that asserted China considered trying to influence the presidential election but backed off. It further said, “No evidence found that a foreign government manipulated any election results.”
Still, there have been documented cases of China election meddling and hacking.
In the 2024 campaign, FBI officials said Chinese government operatives targeted the phones of candidates, including now-President Trump, now-Vice President JD Vance, and individuals associated with then-Vice President Kamala Harris.
A Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security report released in December 2023 found Chinese cyber actors collected publicly available voter information during the 2022 election.
In July 2024, the Justice Department Office of Inspector General issued a report that described China as one of several foreign governments that conducted malign influence campaigns directed at U.S. elections. This included using fake online personas and promoting propaganda

Vulnerabilities in Electronic Voting and Ballot-Counting Systems
For years Americans were blatantly lied to about the security of our election infrastructure, including electronic voting machines and ballot-counting systems. We are releasing a series of previously-classified U.S. Intelligence Community Assessments and other reports proving that our government has long known these machines are extremely exposed to attack. As one assessment states: “We judge that U.S. adversaries, including at a minimum Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea, as well as non-state groups, have the capability to compromise U.S. election infrastructure.” The documents also state: “We assess that centralized election-related data repositories, such as voter registration databases, pollbooks, and official election websites, are most vulnerable to exploitation, and adversaries could use access to these systems to disrupt election processes.” Tonight, we are releasing all of these findings, spanning from January 2020 to June 2026. This is a cyber threat aimed at the very heart of our democracy.
Many people have questioned whether it could actually be possible to electronically manipulate vote totals or change election results. Today, we are releasing documents that show the CIA obtained reporting of a specific plot by the Maduro regime in Venezuela to do exactly that—conspiring to digitally rig their own country’s elections in 2020. This reporting included precise details about methods the regime developed to digitally alter vote totals in ways that could not be detected even with an audit. This intelligence underscores why we must take urgent action to ensure that our own systems can never be hacked or compromised.
China’s Acquisition and Exploitation of American Voter Data
Over a period of years starting during the 2020 election cycle, the People’s Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history—resulting in China’s illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files. That information includes names, addresses, phone numbers, political party preferences, and other sensitive data that would be needed to register to vote, and engage in other nefarious activities. This data loss presents an unprecedented election security nightmare. The intelligence even shows that China assigned a data exploitation unit specifically to this new project.
Members of the Deep State in our intelligence agencies worked to actively suppress and downplay information about the extent of China’s sinister election meddling—covering it up from both the President and the American People. U.S. spy agencies began learning about the compromise of voter registration files in 2020, when they discovered that tens of millions of voters’ data in 18 states had been bought, stolen, or hacked by China. Yet those responsible for sounding the alarm instead kept the information hidden.
Michigan Voter-Registration Investigation
Even when significant evidence of fraud has been detected, it has been buried and covered up. Among the disclosures are FBI files detailing evidence of alleged fraud by a large-scale voter registration operation in Michigan. In 2020, Michigan State Police raided a Democrat get-out-the-vote organization in Muskeegon, and were so concerned by what they found, that they contacted the FBI in Detroit. The documents state that some canvassers admitted to FBI agents that they signed voter registration forms in other people’s names, submitted fraudulent registrations for people who did not exist, and received gift cards tied to the number of applications they produced. The FBI agents working on the case believed that crimes were committed—yet the Biden Department of Justice slow-walked the investigation for years. Director Patel is being directed to ensure that the matter is fully investigated, and to work with the Department of Justice to prosecute those responsible for any crimes.
Noncitizens on State Voter Rolls
According to a D.H.S. review of state voter rolls and public records, they identified approximately 278,000 non-citizens who are registered to vote in federal elections. Since Democrat states refused to share their voter files, the real number is actually much higher—yet even this limited analysis found more than a quarter of a million foreigners illegally registered to vote.
Put together, these disclosures reveal an election system so broken and vulnerable that no one can possibly defend it. Hundreds of millions of U.S. voter files are in the hands of foreign governments, our machines and ballot-counting systems are exposed to hacking and manipulation, China and other countries have been trying to meddle in our elections, evidence of fraud has been buried, hundreds of thousands of non-citizens and dead people are listed and active on the voter rolls—and yet, we still have elections with no Voter I.D., no Proof of Citizenship, and tens of millions of ballots floating aimlessly through the mail.

Long hit piece complains America First-aligned Restoration News is openly funded by conservative political donors, but George Soros has poured tens of millions of dollars into left-wing outlets around the world ($131 million by 2020). Book lovers, how to you decide which book to read?
During your years of reading—or, even going back to your time as a student of an old-school English teacher—you may have picked up some helpful habits.
Perhaps a book is recommended by a fellow lectiophile. Maybe the subject or genre is one that interests you. An intriguing title could draw you in. Finally, you may have read other books by the same author.
Peter J. Kreeft’s How to Destroy Western Civilization could very well fit the bill for one or all of these reasons. If so, your choice will offer the reward of a thoughtful book to be read with interest, even passion.
There is yet another means of helping you in your decision, a method which must be taken with a grain of salt: book jacket recommendations. They can often be somewhat meaningless. For this book, however, they provide a summary of the book’s main points and an accurate assessment of its quality and thought.
“In describing how to destroy the West, which we’re doing a pretty good job of just now, Peter Kreeft also indicates how to save it, if what’s left is savable.” (1)
“Dr. Kreeft [makes an] explosive call for a renewal of family life, of a culture aware of what it is worshipping , and of a freedom that allows humans to embrace the fullness of life for which they have been created in Christ.” (2)
“A pithy, often very funny book, with a serious underlying purpose…Kreeft…our very own C. S. Lewis, is a keen diagnostician of our our moral and spiritual disorders…He doesn’t flinch or coddle. Truth is hard on those who deny it. (3) (Emphasis mine.)
“Dr. Kreeft shows that the diseases destroying Western civilization are indeed deadly, but need not be fatal.” (4)
There it is, in a nutshell: Kreeft’s analysis of our civilization’s destruction and possibilities of hope aptly summarized on the book jacket. We are destroying ourselves, we can recover, but we must rely on—and return to—Truth.

If one is still undecided about selecting this book, or any book, take a look at the table of contents. In this case, the list of eclectic chapter titles presents a variety of ideas. Whether it’s “The Paradox of Poverty” or “C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, and the Culture Wars,” all focus on our destruction and, as the subtitle describes, Other Ideas from the Cultural Abyss. Most are essays; some are taken from talks by Kreeft.
Perhaps, as part of your decision, you might want to skim a chapter. In that case, don’t miss Chapter 3, “The Unmentionable Elephant in the Living Room of the Liberty Debate.” That would be sex—and yes, “[w]e are at war.” The roots of this war stem from the Obama Administration’s push for “sexual ‘liberty’ vs. religious liberty, which includes liberty of conscience.”
Or Chapter 5, “The Logic of Liberalism,” featuring pithy statements such as:
“You may worship any God but God.”;
“I love all human beings. I hate only conservatives.”; and
“We hate censorship. We love speech codes.”
Or Chapter 7, “Twelve Core Values” of the Lumen Institute. (6)
Should you decide to read the entire work of philosophy, morality and logic, you will be well-pleased. In fact, for Kreeft fans, you might just find that this is one of his best works, if not the best you have read. His writing is structured, logical and always thought-provoking. Wit and sarcasm make appearances in appropriate places.
Several main points of the book are of particularly interest to STARRS readers.
As in most books addressing the destruction of Western Civilization, Marx is mentioned in several chapters. So are Darwin and Freud. These are the “three most influential modern thinkers…all atheists, materialists, naturalists and immoralists.” For good measure, Nietzsche is mentioned for his “will to power that fascinated intellectuals, because intellectuals are usually physically weaker than ordinary people and need to compensate or cover this up.” (Yes, Kreeft expertly blends humor with truth.)
In a talk on the “Twelve Core Values” to the Lumen Institute, Kreeft describes three which echo the USAF core values of Integrity First, Service Before Self and Excellence in All We Do.
For Kreeft, these are clearly “leadership values” and are all related to Christ. Kreeft quotes the Lumen Institute Handbook: “Christ is your criterion of integrity.” Regarding Service Before Self, Kreeft states that “[M]agnanimity is…the very nature of God. The ultimate reason for giving yourself to other is that that is the nature of human reality.” Finally, “[E]xcellence in all things is Christocentric.”
The flip side of these, and other noble values discussed in the book, is demonstrated by Kreeft’s skewering of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy’s famous (or, for some—infamous) writing in Casey vs. Planned Parenthood.
Kennedy wrote: “At the heart of liberty is the right to define one’s own concept of existence, of meaning, of the universe, and of the mystery of human life.” Kreeft finds Kennedy’s words the “most foolish, idiotic, and even insane thing ever written by a Supreme Court Justice.
In his signature sarcasm, Kreeft visualizes Kennedy saying to God, “Move over, you’re sitting in my seat.”
Although this is a work of classic Kreeft logic, he contradicts himself in discussing Islam. He dedicates an entire chapter to “A Word about Islam, and a Defense of My Controversial Book about It.”
Elsewhere in the book, he admits that “there is much not to envy in Islam: terrorism, lack of respect for human life, for women, to reason and for freedom.” And yet, in the very next sentence, he states “But Muslims are almost always genuinely moral, though narrow.”
One might think that basic violations of morality are being overlooked here.
Nevertheless, as Kreeft emphasizes in his chapter on Islam, there are certain qualities of Islam which those of a Judeo-Christian faith are lacking. Kreeft respects and praises Islam for its “bare, simple essence” that is the “core of all authentic religion: total surrender, total submission, total conformity to the Will of God.”
Europe will become a Muslim continent because the “sophisticated, cultured, sensitive, advanced, compassionate continent…is dying because it has repudiated its ‘primitive’ roots.”
The qualities of Islam admired by Kreeft underscore deficiencies in Christianity, a subject which has been discussed in both an article and a book featured during STARRS Zoom meetings.
In “How ‘wet noodle Christians’ surrendered American to Marxists” (7), Gwen Anderson describes how many of today’s Christians are failing to publicly oppose evil and support a moral direction of society. She cites a “successful Marxist strategy” as a large part of this attitude; “Marxists understood the wet noodle instinct long before many Christians did.”
Contrast this thinking and attitude with the devotion, fervor and total dedication of Islam as described by Kreeft.
Furthermore, Eric Metaxas, in his Letter to the American Church, (8) echoes Anderson’s thoughts on the weakness of today’s church. He compares today’s church leaders’ lack of force is pushing back against immorality with the failure of church leaders to resist Hitler, as encouraged by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. The American church “has cheapened the ideas of belief and real faith.” Metaxas also cites the lies of Cultural Marxism as a factor in the weakness of today’s American church.
Again, contrast these weaknesses with the strengths of Islam.
While acknowledging that he admires aspects of Islam, Kreeft is clearly a devout Christian, and his beliefs permeate all pages of his book. The following key points address the strengths we need to build on in order to combat further destruction of Western Civilization.
In his first chapter, with the same title as the book, he emphatically states that the “one weapon that will infallibly win the future [is] children.” Having children is the “single most necessary thing to we can possible do to save our civilization.”
Regarding society, “the moral quality of individuals is the single most important cause of a good or bad society.”
And the most important influence on the quality of those members of society?
No surprise here, for many, but an influence that is not always recognized—and lived—by the general population: families…[s]table, loving families.” In addition, “religion has always been the strongest moral indicator in the world.”
Kreefts describes three classical types of freedom: political freedom, free will, and teleological freedom. Unfortunately, the most important freedom is one that is too often denied: “the freedom to become what we are designed to be and are supposed to be.”
In this denial, we live a fourth freedom, the “freedom to be God. That is the root of our insanity.” (Emphasis mine.) There is no longer objective truth, we are our own gods.
Enjoy this thought-provoking book. And, in doing so, introduce yourself to the logic, morality, philosophy and yes, even occasional humor, of Peter Kreeft.
Then keep the book on your bookshelf for future reference and as a reminder that your countercultural thinking—like his—is on the right track while we live in a “cultural abyss.”
Peter Kreeft presents a series of brilliant essays about many of the problems that undermine our Western civilization, along with ways to address them. “These essays are not new proposals or solutions to today’s problems,” he says. “They are old. They have been tried, and have worked. They have made people happy and good. That is what makes them so radical and so unusual today.”
In his witty, readable style, Kreeft implores us to gather wisdom and preserve it, as the monks did in the Middle Ages. He offers relevant philosophical precepts, divided into various categories, that can be collected and remembered in order to guide us and future generations in the days ahead.
Kreeft emphasizes that the most necessary thing to save our civilization is to have children. If we don’t have children, our civilization will cease to exist. The “unmentionable elephant in the room”, he tells us, is sex, properly understood. Religious liberty is being attacked in the name of “sexual liberty”, in other words, abortion. Kreeft encourages us to fight back—with joy and confidence—with the one weapon that will win the future: children.

As many of its candidates notch electoral wins nationwide, the pre-eminent socialist political group in the U.S., the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), plans to roll out an updated platform that includes eliminating the Senate and replacing the president and the Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen by Congress.
According to a source familiar with the DSA’s planning, the organization plans to roll out an update next week to its long-term vision for a U.S. policy platform. The update includes eliminating the U.S. Senate and replacing the president and the Supreme Court with an executive branch and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress.
Additionally, the updated platform would include amnesty for all immigrants and defunding the Department of War.
This would be in addition to the DSA’s current policy platform, which calls for an “immediate end to all deportations,” free migration between countries without restrictive immigration controls, and “extending full voting rights to people with criminal convictions and noncitizens.”
Once considered a fringe movement on the Democratic Party’s progressive wing, the DSA has been gaining relevance, with several of its members toppling longtime establishment party figures. This has prompted many to speculate that the DSA represents the Democratic Party’s future.
While the DSA has endorsed the likes of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., perhaps the most prominent member of the group is New York City socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Mamdani, an immigrant from Uganda, burst onto the national consciousness this year after he defeated former Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo in 2025.
Since Mamdani’s victory, the DSA has continued to gain momentum, with endorsed candidates such as Melat Kiros of Colorado and Darializa Avila-Chevalier of New York, defeating sitting Democratic members of Congress in recent months.
These and other victories have emboldened the DSA, which touts itself as a “working-class alternative to the Democratic Party.” After a recent round of primary victories, the DSA proclaimed that “only socialism can solve decades of capitalist mismanagement in the U.S.”
The group added that “our newly elected leaders will fight for the working class — not for crumbs.”

In addition to radically altering the country’s three-branch form of government, the DSA’s existing platform also advocates establishing a 32-hour work week “with no reduction in pay or benefits,” the passage of Medicare for All, canceling all student loan debt, the elimination of cash bail and universal rent control.
In its program for 2025–2026, the DSA calls for a “new democratic constitution” that it says would establish civil, political, and democratic rights for all based on proportional representation in a “single federal legislature.”

This Independence Day, countless Americans celebrated our country’s 250th anniversary in countless jubilatory ways, from grilling in the backyard to going to fireworks shows and even traveling to Mt. Vernon to pay respects to the Father of Our Country.
But a certain socialist mayor of New York City took the occasion to deliver a speech in a tone that made it seem like he was turning in a homework assignment on a topic he hated.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s speech before the July Fourth festivities was an epic downer, a perfect example of aspirational leftist rhetoric masking a notable dearth of genuine patriotism.
It’s not nearly as important as the content, but the optics were bad too.
As a man once said, you’d find more cheer in a graveyard. You’d think Mamdani would get some extras who at least looked like they wanted to be there.
Mamdani’s wife didn’t even show up, though it’s doubtful she would have brought up the energy level. She reportedly went on an “Islamic spiritual wellness” retreat in Spain rather than stay for the Independence Day events. It was a coincidence, I’m sure.
So, this was a solemn, dour occasion in which even when Mamdani tried to squeeze out some praise for America, it was laced with straw men and passive-aggressive contempt.
I’m not exaggerating, it really was terrible.
“We are told that America is exceptional because we are richer, stronger, more powerful than everyone else,” he said at one point. “ … The truth, my friends, is that America is exceptional because here, nothing is fixed into place.”
Mamdani obviously doesn’t spend too much time with people who believe America is exceptional.
Being rich and powerful is merely a byproduct of America’s greatness.
However, if you’ve gone through life believing that Howard Zinn’s “A People’s History of the United States” is true, then this is the kind of phony image of our self-conception you might come up with.
Mamdani’s intent was clearly to draw a line between his false version of America’s past as greedy and rapacious compared to its assumedly more generous, borderless socialist future that he and his friends intend to usher in.
We are supposed to believe that by handing the keys to our future over to the perpetually aggrieved, we’ll finally not be a bad country. And that hope is the only thing that keeps them invested in the place they apparently call “home.”
Mamdani continued to list in his speech a series of people who had escaped one oppression or another and ended up here in another land of oppressions that was maybe OK sometimes.
How inspiring.
The speech drew praise from some Democrat politicians and left-wing commentators, but it seems even Mamdani’s comms team knew that the vibe was off.
He followed up with a slightly more upbeat X post that nevertheless defined patriotism as “every act of righteous dissent — because loving our country means fighting for the best version of it.”
The boys of Pointe du Hoc and the young men who suffered at Valley Forge are, I guess, a cut below on Mamdani’s patriotism scale because they simply fought for the America that was.
I’ll counter that America was great when we were nothing but a collection of bankrupt states clinging to existence at the edge of the world in the shadow of the British empire.
America may be a land of perpetual motion, but what makes it special is in part what’s fixed in place.
“If all men are created equal, that is final,” Calvin Coolidge said at America’s 150th anniversary. “If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions.”
From that hinge point of our country’s creation, millions upon millions of Americans helped build the most extraordinary country that has yet existed.
Did everyone succeed, was every law just, did everything work perfectly? Obviously not. We live in America, not the Kingdom of Heaven.
Down here, among the fallen, we’ve done quite a bit better than the rest in our 250 years.
You wouldn’t think that listening to the mayor of New York.
You’d think the American experience was no more than a series of miseries until a wealthy Indian child of a Bollywood producer and anti-colonialist professor settled here after a brief stop in Uganda, set up shop a hot second ago, and began to set things right.
Like so many others on the left, his only fondness for America appears to be in what he hopes it will be, not what it is or has been.
When in power they are “patriots,” when they aren’t it’s nothing but sour faces and complaints.

Democrats are quickly moving away from denying their socialist connections to openly embracing them.
That’s a lesson to be learned from a clear trend taking hold in America’s most populous, blue bastions.
Janeese Lewis George, a democratic socialist member of the District of Columbia City Council, looks to be the favorite to become the next mayor of Washington after winning her primary in what has been a banner year for the socialist Left.
“In a city that leans overwhelmingly left and with no real challengers on the ballot, Lewis George will likely win November’s general election for mayor and is poised to replace current Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser, who on occasion worked with President Donald Trump over the last two years but ultimately opted not to pursue a fourth term at the city’s helm,” Fox News reported Thursday.
And here we have another good argument in favor of eliminating “home rule” in the District.
This would make Washington the third major city to be taken over by an avowed socialist in less than a year.
And whatever happens in the Los Angeles mayor’s race going forward, the options are now a socialist insurgent and an incumbent who was politically trained in communist Cuba.
The Democratic Party has lurched so far to the Left that in its most secure bastions it’s being taken over by open socialists and Marxists. And there seems to be little resistance.
Even the corporate, legacy media has acknowledged this trend of rising socialism, though their narrative is that it’s largely happening because of President Donald Trump.
There’s a kernel of truth in this, but only in a roundabout way.
It’s clear now that in the wake of the 2024 electoral disaster the Democrat establishment lost much of its credibility with the party base. Their strategy of putting forward candidates like former President Joe Biden who would simply provide the “moderate” face to an extremist agenda lost much of its luster.
In many places, Democrats are still running that playbook with a fair amount of success. But losing to Trump caused certainly caused a shakeup on the Left. The Bernie Sanders wing is no longer contained. The party base—especially the hordes of young wokes–want full-throated leftism.
They are using the enthusiasm and organization of groups like the Democratic Socialists of America to outhustle and replace the old party establishment. And so far, it’s working, at least in places that Democrats already comfortably control.
They are now going to lean into ideas like wealth and property confiscation, into the concept of borderless society that rejects any kind of immigration law enforcement, into many of the radical ideas that the party may have wished for but shrewdly kept quiet about.
Now they will bring you Leninism with a great, big phony smile.
Merging city government with the Democratic Socialists of America brings them much closer to making their ideas a reality on both the local and eventually the national level. That’s the real target, after all.
They are creating a government-backed activist army ready to take over and fundamentally transform America. And they have no intention of being confined to just big, blue dysfunctional cities. They want to bring their horrendous agenda to the whole world like any good comrade.
It shouldn’t be forgotten that many of the DSA’s ideas are downright apocalyptic if they ever come to pass, and they have a decidedly national and international bent to them.
City Journal’s Stu Smith wrote an excellent piece about the recently updated DSA platform. It’s as extreme as one would suspect of a group that still believes that true socialism has yet to be tried.
Smith wrote that its radicalism “gives a glimpse into how the equivalent of the DSA’s board of directors—some of whom have appeared to moderate—actually think about politics.”
They explicitly want to overthrow the Constitution to create what they call “real democracy.”
This isn’t the old “free and fair regular elections” democracy that most Americans have grown fond of, it’s more of the “two wolves and a sheep deciding what’s for dinner” type democracy that the Founders fretted about.
To summarize, the platform called for replacement of “the president and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress,” the abolition of prisons, the Department of War, the Electoral College, and amnesty for all illegal aliens.
Again, these are close to what are now considered “mainstream” Democrat ideas. And that’s what makes them so dangerous. They are taking the most noxious ideas of the Left and supercharging them.
Even if the socialist insurgents can’t win outside the deepest blue bastions for now, the Democratic Party must accommodate their momentum and popularity with their activist class.
If this trend continues, they soon won’t be the insurgents anymore. They’ll be the establishment. They’ll have the control of a national party with a very clear goal of finally bringing socialism to every corner of the country.
Indeed, mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day may stumble in for seven days until June 9—and still be counted. Thus, weeks could pass before these major political contests are settled. Counties have until July 3 to report their official results to the secretary of state.
It was not always this way. By 5 a.m. on March 6, 2013, 100% of precincts had totaled the previous day’s ballots. Nine hours after voting ended, Angelenos knew the final two mayoral rivals. (Gil Garcetti prevailed.) As of Friday, only 71% of ballots had been tabulated in Los Angeles and just 68% statewide.
Escargot can count votes more swiftly than Californians. Pundit Nate Silver calls this “failed state shit.” He observed this week via X: “The fact that California elections often can’t be resolved for weeks is kind of insane and not common in other electoral systems around the world.”
“The Dumocrats are at it again!” Trump roared Thursday via Truth Social. “They are trying to STEAL THE GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA PRIMARY, AND THE MAYOR OF LOS ANGELES, PRIMARY, AWAY FROM TWO GREAT REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES. Here we go with the very late and massive numbers of MAIL IN BALLOTS.”
Trump continued: “There’s BIG cheating by the Dumocrats in California. Votes are all tied up. May not be in for weeks. Under investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles. Why the vote counting DELAY???”
Trump echoes conservative complaints that GOP candidates in tight races too often triumph only on Election Night. Thanks to magic ballots, these Republicans wane, and the Democrats wax and then win. Magic ballots rarely favor Republicans.
Confidence Corrodes
Californians are experiencing either corruption or the appearance of corruption. Neither “I am being robbed” nor “I think I am being robbed” yields deep sleep. If Democrats are using this slovenly process to slouch toward a stuffed-ballot-box defeat of Steve Hilton, Spencer Pratt, or both, the perpetrators must be handcuffed at once.
But even if California’s count is purer than St. Francis of Assisi and merely looks crooked, millions of Americans will conclude that someone is cheating, and the entire system is rigged. Such suspicions corrode confidence in elections and the republic that they serve.
Winners easily respect their leaders and institutions, but even citizens who lose elections can accept opponents who succeed, fair and square.
But when voters feel cheated at the polls, then the whole structure starts to reek. “That’s not my mayor” and “That’s not my governor” become battle cries as America slides toward Civil War 2.0.
SAVE America Act
California’s pathetic performance offers yet another reason for the U.S. Senate to pry its collective butt out of the proverbial Barcalounger and pass the SAVE America Act already.
Catapulting mass mail-in ballots atop the ash heap of history and limiting them to the sick, the infirm, and those absent on Election Day (as the SAVE America Act requires) would go far toward ending this nightmare. And, to be accepted, all ballots must arrive before polls close (as the U.S. Supreme Court soon might decide.)
With these two reforms, California (and other states) could manage a much shorter stack of mail-in ballots. They could be counted every Election Day, with normal ballots. Winners and losers would emerge before the cocks crow at dawn.

FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—More nonprofits are urging the software company Benevity—which hundreds of companies use to allow employees to donate their time and money to charities—to stop systematically blacklisting conservative nonprofits.
Twelve organizations first sent a letter to Benevity in October following the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. The new letter, sent Monday and exclusively provided first to the Daily Signal, will feature three new signatories: Turning Point USA, PragerU, and Focus on the Family.
“Charitable giving programs should empower generosity, not enforce political conformity,” Douglas Napier, executive chairman and CEO of 1792 Exchange, which helped organize the letter, told the Daily Signal in a statement Friday. “Benevity must immediately end its use of Southern Poverty Law Center’s defamatory ‘Hate List’ and ‘Hate Map’ to block mainstream charitable organizations like Turning Point USA and Focus on the Family.”
“1792 Exchange’s research found that hundreds of major corporations rely on Benevity’s platform, making this a critical moment for corporate leadership to reject ideological gatekeeping,” Napier added. “Benevity must completely remove any use of the SPLC filter, adopt a viewpoint-neutral process, and restore full access to the organizations it has unjustly excluded.”
“For far too long, major corporations have been relying on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s nefarious ‘Hate List’ to decide what organizations and charities their employees may give to as part of their corporate giving programs,” Paul Batura, vice president of communications at Focus on the Family, told the Daily Signal. “These entities have been relying on a distorted definition of ‘goodness.’”
“In fact, citing and sourcing the SPLC is the equivalent of a company promising clean water drawing their water from a polluted or toxic aquifer,” Batura added. “It’s our privilege to join the 1792 Exchange’s growing coalition in urging companies to stop making decisions and recommendations based on information from the SPLC.”
Benevity Keeps Using SPLC
The issue gained renewed salience after a federal grand jury handed down 11 criminal charges against the SPLC for allegedly funding the very hate groups it tells donors it exists to “dismantle.”
The Daily Signal reached out to Benevity last month to see if the company would disavow the SPLC in light of the indictment.
“Benevity is not directly affiliated with the SPLC,” the company’s spokesperson told the Daily Signal. “Benevity clients have the option to use the list of nonprofit organizations included on the SPLC’s annual Hate Map to determine nonprofit eligibility within their programs. The use of this option is not a default setting and is at the sole discretion of clients.”
According to its website, Benevity connects “nearly 1,000 enterprise companies” to a network of 513,000 nonprofits after vetting 2.2 million of them. It says it has managed $16 billion in grants and 99 million employee volunteer hours. In 2023, more than 2.3 million people donated through the Benevity platform, representing $3.2 billion.
“Benevity’s denial that it defaults to the SPLC filter is hard to square with its own history,” Greg Scott, executive vice president at 1792 Exchange, told the Daily Signal in response to the Benevity statement.
Benevity’s former CEO, Kelly Schmitt, delivered a PowerPoint presentation in 2021 explicitly stating that the company had “vetted” almost “2 million nonprofits,” adding that it used the “Southern Poverty Law Center Hate List.”
Scott added, however, that “the real issue isn’t how the SPLC filter is used, it’s why this list is used at all.”
Critics have said the SPLC trades on its history of suing Ku Klux Klan groups into bankruptcy to smear conservatives. The center publishes a “hate map” that plots parental rights groups like Moms for Liberty, conservative groups like Turning Point USA, and Christian groups like Focus on the Family alongside chapters of the Klan.
In 2012, a convicted terrorist told the FBI he targeted a conservative Christian nonprofit in Washington, D.C., the Family Research Council, for a mass shooting. Four months after the SPLC added Turning Point USA to the “hate map” last year, Tyler Robinson allegedly murdered Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk, aiming to silence his “hate.”
According to 1792 Exchange, 252 companies using the Benevity platform exclude conservative groups by using the SPLC list as a screening tool.
The Letter
“We, the undersigned organizations, urge Benevity to immediately end the use of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s ‘Hate Map’ and ‘Hate List’ in determining which nonprofits are eligible for corporate charitable giving and employee matching programs,” reads the letter, now signed by 15 groups.
“By relying on these partisan designations, Benevity legitimizes a severely biased blacklist that inspires violence, urges discrimination against mainstream organizations, and undermines the spirit of charitable giving,” the letter adds.
The list of signatories includes Alliance Defending Freedom, the American Family Association, the Center for Christian Virtue, the David Horowitz Freedom Center, Do No Harm, the Family Policy Alliance, the Family Research Council, Focus on the Family, GenSpect, Moms for Liberty, Partners for Ethical Care, PragerU, Turning Point USA, 1792 Exchange, and Them Before Us.

At 1:05 AM President announced the U.S. Attorney’s office in LA is looking into why it is taking so long/delayed to count votes.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump attacked the Democrats and accused them of trying to “STEAL” the two races “AWAY FROM TWO GREAT REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES.”
In a follow-up post, Trump again accused the Democrats—derisively calling them “Dumocrats”—of “BIG cheating” and claimed votes were “all tied up,” and results may not be in “for weeks.”
The President then said that the voting process is “under investigation” by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles.
President Trump claimed the Democrats are “trying to steal” the California gubernatorial and the Los Angeles mayoral primaries – and launched a probe into the state’s sluggish vote count.
Trump fumed Thursday over how votes in California are trickling in two days after polls closed – and the results of the elections may not be known for several weeks due to the vast amount of mail-in ballots that need to be processed.

California’s vote count often stretches beyond Election Day because officials must verify signatures, process millions of vote-by-mail ballots, and conduct required audits before certifying results.
State law gives county election officials up to 30 days after an election to complete the official canvass, count every valid ballot, and perform post-election checks to ensure accuracy.
Results started trickling in shortly after polls closed Tuesday, but those numbers can change as additional ballots are processed.
Early in-person votes and mail-in ballots that came in during the first weeks of voting will be released as the state’s initial results.
Because California accepts vote-by-mail ballots that can be postmarked by Election Day and received later, final results in close races may not be known for days or even weeks.
Only 56% of the vote has been counted statewide in California — and Steve Hilton, a former aide to ex-British Prime Minister David Cameron, leads the way.
The top two candidates, irrespective of party, will progress and face off against each other in November’s general election.

He is ahead of progressive Democrat Nithya Raman — who is currently on 22.8%.
Far-left candidate Raman sobbed during an impassioned speech Tuesday but she could end up in the run-off if a large trove of progressive mail-in ballots swing towards her.
“Don’t count Nithya Raman out yet,” Zev Yaroslavsky, the director of the Los Angeles Initiative at UCLA Luskin, told the Los Angeles Times.
“Pratt has an edge … but it’s not free from doubt at this point.”
Trump’s opposition to mail-in voting is well-documented. Last August, he wrote, “ELECTIONS CAN NEVER BE HONEST WITH MAIL IN BALLOTS/VOTING.”
“I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS,” he said.

As CodePink co-founders Jodie Evans and Medea Benjamin ended their activist group’s pilgrimage to communist Cuba yesterday, their sojourn reflected a strategy years in the making: a “united front” aligning far-left, socialist and communist revolutionaries across borders.
In late October 1944, Chinese Communist Party leader Mao Zedong delivered a speech, outlining a strategy to unite disparate groups under a shared ideological framework, telling followers: “For this struggle a broad united front is indispensable.”
More than two decades later, in 1966, Cuban leader Fidel Castro convened revolutionaries in Havana for the Tricontinental Conference, where he pledged “support to any revolutionary movement in any corner of the earth,”
And more recently, an American-born Marxist businessman named Neville Roy Singham sold his technology company, Thoughtworks, for an estimated $785 million in 2017, and a Fox News Digital investigation reveals that he set about building his own version of Mao’s united front.
The investigation, using large language models to analyze hundreds of pages of tax records, organizational messaging, online content and historical records, found Singham pumped at least $278 million into a layered network of 2,000 nonprofits, think tanks, activist groups and media organizations with shared messaging and ideology matching the communist ideals of Mao and Castro, operating across borders while appearing independent. What emerges isn’t a loose coalition but a tightly-knit system.
At the time of the sale, Thoughtwork’s chief scientist, Martin Fowler, acknowledged the proceeds would fund Singham’s “activist work.” The sale created a war chest that would flow into the constellation of nonprofits that now comprise the “House of Singham.”
Policymakers and law enforcement officials have gotten a glimpse into pieces of Singham’s influence, from anti-Israel protests in the U.S. to a propaganda machine in India and the hijacking of a labor union in South Africa. But the broader picture is more expansive: a transnational network buried in layer upon layer of companies entangled with shared leaders, shared addresses and a shared mission to spread Marxism and promote China as a global counterweight to the U.S. in a new Cold War.
IRS records show that three entities transferred $278 million from 2017 through 2023 into six core U.S. nonprofits in Singham’s network, but those six nonprofits haven’t operated in isolation. They have functioned as hubs in a broader system, receiving and redistributing funding, and coordinating activity across a widening network of affiliated groups.
In 2017, when Singham married Evans, he relied on many of their wedding guests as lieutenants, consiglieres, strategists, propagandists and field marshals to mobilize thousands of foot soldiers to promote China’s interests. One recurring theme is promotion of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, a global infrastructure and trade effort designed to expand China’s economic and geopolitical influence.
Liu Pengyu, a spokesman for the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Washington, D.C., told Fox News Digital, he wasn’t familiar with “the specifics of this particular case.”
Pengyu added that China “welcomes and hopes that more people in the United States will view China in an objective and fair light, and lend their voices to the sound and stable development of China–U.S. relations.”
Rep. Jason Smith, chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, has described Singham as “an individual who lives in Shanghai, maintains business ties with companies and individuals linked to the CCP, works with and physically alongside a foreign propaganda company, and attends CCP forums on how to promote the party abroad.”
According to people familiar with the transactions, Singham used GS Donor Advised Philanthropy Fund For Wealth Management Inc., affiliated with Goldman Sachs Group Inc., to anonymously direct tax-deductible donations to a new tranche of nonprofits established after his marriage to Evans. Goldman Sachs spokesman Tony Fratto said that the company’s philanthropy arm “terminated” Singham’s donor-advised fund in February 2024.
Shell-Like Companies
Fox News Digital also identified two fly-by-night companies – Likewise Conceptions LLC and Mutod LLC – that appear in the network’s financial architecture.
Likewise, Conceptions listed an address outside Chicago, while Mutod used the address of a hotel in downtown Chicago. Two other organizations linked to Singham used a hotel and a cocktail lounge as addresses. Fox News Digital reviewed incorporation papers, state registrations, property records and other open-source materials but couldn’t identify meaningful public footprints for either entity. Singham and Evans didn’t respond to requests for comment.
Those entities functioned as conduits, moving large sums into nonprofits that would then redistribute funds across additional layers of the network.
Over months of reporting, Fox News Digital built organizational charts tracing the network’s structure. At least 18 guests from the “Jodie and Roy” wedding of “One Love” in Jamaica appear within a wider network of about 80 people serving in core leadership across about 15 central organizations.
The network includes members of Singham’s family, including his son Nathan Singham, his niece Alicia Singham Goodwin and his sister, Shanti Singham, who has academic ties to East China Normal University in Shanghai. The university, which is administered by the Chinese Community Party (CCP), co-sponsored the Global South Academic Conference where Singham appeared last fall, lambasting the U.S. as a “fascist” nation. East China Normal University didn’t respond to a request for comment.
The wider circle of wedding guests included actor Danny Glover, playwright Eve Ensler, now known as V, and “Democracy Now” TV host Amy Goodman.
Another guest, Ben Cohen, the co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, has more recently appeared, getting arrested with CodePink activists as he interrupted Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. during a congressional hearing over Gaza and then called for the defunding of ICE earlier this year.
FBI agents arrested another wedding guest, Ibrahim AlHusseni, last year for alleged securities fraud and he later entered a guilty plea. Late last year, Evans allegedly helped pay his $3 million bail, according to court-related reporting. He is scheduled to be sentenced in July.
Within this period, the People’s Forum’s organizing work and BreakThrough News coverage became central to nationwide demonstrations, coordinated through the Party for Socialism and Liberation and the ANSWER Coalition.
US Nonprofit Dollars Tied Up in China’s State Investment Firm
One of the nonprofits Singham funded immediately in 2017 with his newfound wealth was Tricontinental Ltd., based in Massachusetts, led by his friend and wedding guest, Vijay Prashad. It was named for the 1966 Tricontinental Conference.
In a letter to one of the Singham organizations, Tricontinental, Smith warned that “interlocking ownership and management roles” across the entities suggest a strategy to embed CCP propaganda “under the guise of independent scholarship and commerce.” Tricontinental hasn’t made any public responses to the letter, but it posted a video from Brazil last month on Instagram, inviting followers to read the “Communist Manifesto” for “Red Book Day.”
Fox News Digital found that one nonprofit that Singham funded, the People’s Support Foundation, reported investments for years in the China-U.S. Industrial Cooperation Partnership Parallel LP, an investment vehicle tied to a partnership between Goldman Sachs and the China Investment Corporation, the state-sanctioned investment arm of the Chinese Communist Party.
In its 2019 tax filing, the People’s Support Foundation disclosed a $75,165 holding. By 2024, the holding had grown to $410,484, according to tax records.
The amounts were modest. But they placed a Singham-linked nonprofit inside a financial structure designed to blend U.S. private-equity management with Chinese state capital during a time of heightened national security scrutiny. While the records do not prove coordination or intent, they reveal overlapping interests at a sensitive geopolitical intersection.
In 2019, that partnership purchased Boyd Corporation, a California-based manufacturer.
Fratto said those investments were legal and “intended to increase foreign direct investment in the United States.” He added the investments “don’t confer any control over the companies by an individual investor.”
People’s Forum – A ‘United Front’ at W. 37th Street
Less than three weeks after the Singham-Evans wedding, on Feb. 27, 2017, the People’s Forum was registered in New York state, according to state records.
Singham initially funneled $2.5 million into the People’s Forum. It had some familiar names on the board: Evans and Claudia De la Cruz, a wedding guest and a leader in two organizations that would become critical in sowing mayhem on the streets of the U.S., the People’s Forum and the Party for Socialism and Liberation.
Another key board member was Manolo De Los Santos, a self-avowed Marxist born in the Dominican Republic. Outside the People’s Forum headquarters in New York City recently, he refused to answer questions from a Fox News Digital investigative team.
De Los Santos has publicly posted photos of himself with Venezuelan leader Nicholas Maduro, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel and Fernando Gonzalez, one of the “Cuban 5,” Cuban intelligence officers arrested in 1998 in the U.S. for spying and later convicted.
Brian Becker, a longtime Marxist organizer, also became a key figure around the People’s Forum, turning it into a base for expanding protest infrastructure he’d already cultivated with the ANSWER Coalition and Party for Socialism and Liberation, organizing anti-American demonstrations as the son of an American Marxist leader from the 1960s. He also refused to answer questions from Fox News Digital, calling a journalist a “terrorist.”
Ismail Royer, a former extremist imprisoned for supporting the Lashkar-e-Taiba militant group in Pakistan, remembers Becker and his socialist crew taking over protests and telling Muslim groups to step aside.
“They told us, ‘Just show up. We’ll take care of everything,'” Royer told Fox News Digital.
Over the following years, Singham doled out a total of $22.4 million to the People’s Forum, according to Fox News Digital’s analysis.
The organization operated not just as a physical space, but as a coordination hub in the emerging Mao-style united front, linking funding, messaging and protest activity. It was also moving money into protest infrastructure, including funding tied to large demonstrations.
‘Build Unity…’
In its first year, the People’s Forum said it spent $428,470 developing a space to “foster collaboration and exchange between diverse social movements,” to “build unity across historic lines of division at home and abroad” and “nurture the next generation of visionaries and organizers who believe that through collective action, a new world is possible.”
In late 2021, the People’s Forum hosted a day-long conference on “China and the Left,” featuring Singham’s friend, Prashad, the Qiao Collective and Tings Chak, Prashad’s colleague at Tricontinental with close ties to academic institutions in China.
Sessions included “Poverty Alleviation in China,” China “as a Model for Third World Development” and “China as a Challenge to Capitalism.”
The day’s speakers blasted “The U.S. Hybrid War on China,” “Anti-Asian Violence” in the U.S. and an American bias they dubbed “yellow peril.”
In 2023, the People’s Forum gave the ANSWER Coalition’s fiscal sponsor, Progress Unity Fund, $26,400 it raised at the anti-Israel “National March on Washington” on Nov. 4, 2023, less than a month after the Oct. 7 attack. It wasn’t a lot of money, but the payment reveals the way these organizations work in lock-step with each other.
The next year, Progress Unity Fund reported a $267,756 payment to the ANSWER Coalition for “mobilizing hundreds of thousands of people in a [sic] mass actions in Washington, D.C. and around the country,” according to its tax filing.
It gave $35,000 to BreakThrough BT Media Inc., which broadcast the anti-U.S. protests to the world.
Not long ago, according to property records, the People’s Forum purchased a multi-million dollar building on 14th Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
Fox News Digital found that Singham allegedly used two mystery companies to pour money into another new nonprofit, the People’s Support Foundation Ltd., again with Evans on the board, along with former Thoughtworks executives.
IRS filings show that in 2017, Mutod LLC, just established on Sept. 11, 2017, in Delaware, transferred $160.2 million into the People’s Support Foundation. In IRS filings, Mutod used the address of a hotel on E. Wacker Drive, suite no. 256.
Meanwhile, Likewise Conceptions LLC, which shared an address with a FedEx store on Liberty Road in Crystal Lake, Il., north of Chicago, poured $3.5 million into the People’s Support Foundation. And Mutod LLC put another $3.8 million into the organization in 2018.
The People’s Support Foundation then became a funding source for another tier of entities with generic names, including the People’s Welfare Association and the United Community Fund.
Both were registered as 501(c)(4) political nonprofits. Both used UPS Stores as mailing addresses. Both included familiar names from the House of Singham on their boards.
They repeated a recurring pattern in the network: new nonprofit layers appear with generic names, limited public footprints and overlapping leadership, as money continues to move outward.
The United Community Fund listed its tax code as “Q01: International, Foreign Affairs, and National Security Alliances and Advocacy.”
The United Community Fund had some strong anti-American voices on its board: Layan Fuleihan, a fiery Palestinian American leader at the People’s Forum who has led virulent anti-Israel protests; and Chak, a trusted figure in the Singham inner circle and Tricontinental official with ties to Chinese universities.
The money flowing from the People’s Support Foundation into the United Community Fund followed a familiar pattern: one layer funding another, with overlapping personnel and funding.
A question hangs over the structure Fox News Digital traced: why does the House of Singham rely on multiple nonprofit layers, recurring addresses and recycled leadership to move money and organize activity?
As the network expanded across nonprofits, media platforms and activist groups, it promoted the old ideas of Mao and the “United Front.” In February, at the launch of a new book, “Tricontinental, Havana 1966,” filled with speeches and documents from the conference, Prashad and De Los Santos regaled an audience at the People’s Forum with stories of the global communist “revolutionaries” at the conference led by “our commander Fidel,” as Prashad described Castro. De Los Santos noted the participants “weren’t armchair leftists,” who were “shifting from one hotel to the other doing international left tourism.”
“We believe strongly that communism is the actual movement of history,” Prashad said.
Cognitive Warfare
Earlier this month, the State Department identified the People’s Forum and CodePink as vectors of threat because of their alignment with the People’s Republic of China. The State Department said the groups “denigrate the United States, whitewash the violence of Marxist regimes, and run cover for narco-terrorists like {former Venezuelan dictator Nicolas] Maduro while enjoying an influx of cash from a donor network with connections to the Chinese Communist Party.”
Meanwhile, the House Ways and Means Committee and House Oversight Committee are investigating the Singham network for potential violations of nonprofit law. Justice, State and Treasury Department officials are also investigating Singham and the organizations he has funded, according to people familiar with the investigations.
Last September, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman James Comer, R-Ky.), and the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets Chairwoman Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., asked Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to conduct a “comprehensive evaluation to determine whether federal sanctions, civil remedies or criminal penalties—including asset freezes or seizures—should be applied to far-left entities organized and funded by Mr. Singham.”
The Trump administration has precedent to act. The Justice Department prosecuted a nonprofit in USA v. Babakov, ECF for serving “as a front for a global foreign influence campaign to advance Russia’s foreign policy objectives.” That case didn’t have any connection to Singham or his network.
Smith said at a recent hearing, “This is something every American should care about.” The investigations are ongoing, and no one in the Singham network has been charged with any crimes nor has any action been taken against any organizations or individuals in the Singham network. No one from the Singham network has been found liable for any legal violations.
The White House recently created a new National Security Council position, called the “Director of Cognitive Advantage,” held by Shawn Chenoweth, to address what officials describe as information warfare, a critical element of a nation’s “soft power.”
In public remarks, Chenoweth has described the job as putting the “I,” for “information,” back into a national power framework known as DIME: diplomatic, information, military and economic power.
The Singham network sits at that intersection, and as Evans’ and Benjamin’s CodePink delegation departed Cuba, the convoy reflected the outward expression of a structure built over years, following Mao’s strategy of connecting international travel, coordinated messaging and on-the-ground activism in a “United Front.”

Yes, AI is here and already programmed into our lives today. We have allowed AI to become our teacher, parent, mentor, conscience and lifestyle.
We forget that AI is just a tool which we should use to enhance our lives, not run them.
AI is just a series of programs. The question is, “What are the values of the person who did the programming and why should I follow them or incorporate them into my life?” It is up to each one of us to take control of our own life. Not just hand it over to a machine. Who will control your destiny?
The next step in AI is AGI, Artificial General Intelligence and ASI, Artificial Super Intelligence.
One again, another experiment is done on the American people without investigating the consequences.
But, we already know the results … Depopulation, by any means possible. Turn society into a bunch of drones.
What is really amazing is that hardly anyone mentions the amount of jobs that are projected to be lost due to AI: 100 MILLION jobs in the USA alone.

This is not solely Guatemala’s responsibility; there is information regarding U.S. citizens, their investment properties, and their personal data. Cyber mercenaries are aware of this, as are those behind the scenes. I have not heard from President Bernardo Arevalo, who openly supports Iran, the “woke” agenda, Soros, etc.
We suggest that they come or speak with U.S. diplomatic authorities to seek support from the FBI, besides Mossad (Israel) . With the utmost respect, we urge Secretary of State Marco Rubio to take urgent action, because Guatemala should not be underestimated as a bridgehead for terrorists and their allies in this region.
In a matter of three weeks, websites of state institutions, universities, and public platforms have been infiltrated by hackers who have exposed sensitive data of thousands of Guatemalans and demonstrated that the country’s computer infrastructure is weak.
Since the beginning of April, there has been a series of cyberattacks, starting with the General Directorate of Arms and Ammunition Control (Digecam), up to the most recent, alleged breaches of the websites of the Attorney General’s Office (PGN) and the Superintendency of Telecommunications (SIT).
Experts consulted by La Horahave stated that the creation of a Cybersecurity Law is necessary to regulate what happens in cyberspace; however, it is still in the Congress of the Republic awaiting a new ruling.
Meanwhile, President Bernardo Arévalo assured that the Government is already working on a response to cyberattacks and stressed that the Government will not wait for the approval of said legislation to act.
“We can’t wait until the law comes out; we are looking at what measures can be taken to close those gaps,” he said.
THE BEGINNING OF THE INTRUSIONS: DIGECAM
April 9 marked the beginning of this series of incidents. On that day, the Guatemalan Army reported that it was investigating an alleged data theft at Digecam.
Initially, authorities claimed to have no evidence confirming the breach, although they activated security and monitoring protocols.
Hours later, the tone changed. The Army spokesperson confirmed that a hack had indeed occurred. Although she insisted that user information “was not at risk,” a forensic audit and a mass password reset were ordered as a containment measure.
The official argument was that the data was not sensitive, since it was information that had always been public, and that the passwords were protected by hashing. However, the hacker obtained the personal information of gun owners in the country, as well as all the details of the firearms that are validated for circulation.
While the Digecam case was still under investigation, the Ministry of Health confirmed another incident. The website of the National Health Laboratory suffered an attack which, according to the official version, was quickly contained.
The incident was reported on April 13, but it reportedly began on March 9 and was brought under control the following day. According to the Ministry of Health, it involved the encryption of internal files using ransomware or a Trojan horse.
Authorities assured that there was no access to sensitive data, but the incident revealed a vulnerability: the access would have occurred through the web portal and with the use of tools to hide the origin, such as VPN.
Although the systems were restored using backups, the incident forced the reinforcement of controls, the review of access points, and the filing of complaints with the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MP).
THE BIGGEST ATTACK: A CODE BREACH AT THE MINISTRY OF LABOR
On April 26, the focus shifted to the Ministry of Labor. The “Tu Empleo” portal, a job search platform for citizens, temporarily stopped working after an attack.
