Charlie Kirk’s Widow Reveals Plans For The Future Of TPUSA, His Radio Show

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) CEO Erika Kirk appeared on “The Charlie Kirk Show” Friday, saying the show would feature rotating hosts while there was a “blueprint” for the organization.

TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk was gunned down during a Sept. 10 TPUSA “Prove Me Wrong” event at Utah Valley University, where he was debating attendees. Erika, who succeeded her late husband as CEO of the conservative student group, said that some of the co-hosts and staff for Kirk on his radio show were “pieces of his brain.”

“Collectively, each one of you are a piece of his brain,” Erika Kirk said. “I know we’ve talked about this. Blake [Neff], economics, foreign policy, Andrew [Korvet], pretty much a lot of stuff. Mikey [McCoy], humor, Christianity, sports, youth, social, pop culture, Miss Daisy, like everyone, has a piece of his brain that still lives on, and so what I’m getting at here is, the Charlie Kirk Show is not going anywhere. My husband’s voice will live on; the show will go on. We will have rotating hosts.”

WATCH:

Erika Kirk forgave her husband’s alleged assassin during an emotional speech at Sunday’s memorial service for the TPUSA founder. During her appearance on the show, she hinted that her husband had an immense library of content that could take the show beyond 2030.

“We have decades’ worth of my husband’s voice. We have unused material from speeches that he’s had that no one has heard yet,” Erica Kirk said. “We have Sunday specials lined up to the brim, because my husband was so intentional about making sure that there was enough content, always.”

“We would not do a speech unless we could get the video and the audio,” Korvet added, with Erika Kirk adding, “One hundred percent. So, we have speeches that no one’s heard of, we have interviews that no one’s heard of.”

Erika Kirk hinted that there were also plans for the conservative student group, which has seen a flood of applications since Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

“Similar with Turning Point USA, Charlie had a plan moving past 2030 that he’s shared with the team and has implemented so we’re not going anywhere,” Erika Kirk said. “We have the blueprint.”

Texas high school parents group doxxes teens trying to start Turning Point USA chapter

Charlie Kirk was opposed to the red-green axis, recognizing it as a threat to America and Israel, and this opposition didn’t earn him friends. The Guardian published a story with the headline From ‘hellhole’ UK to anti-Muslim rhetoric in Japan, Charlie Kirk took his message abroad. Unsurprisingly, in this story, supporters of Kirk and TPUSA are described as “far right.” The left uses this term to describe anyone who opposes suicidal immigration policies, as well as those who tell the truth about jihad,  and about the conquest and martyrdom that Muslim leaders themselves at the highest levels call for. Illustrating the fact that this call is taken seriously are 1400 years of the history of jihad.

In Texas, the Department of Justice announced an investigation of the Muslim EPIC City Sharia enclave. Amy Mek has written:

Retired Lieutenant Douglas Deaton exposed a disturbing reality: EPIC’s Sharia-controlled enclave in Plano isn’t some future vision—it already exists. For nearly 12 years, EPIC has operated a religiously exclusive neighborhood comprising 74 homes, a sprawling mosque, Islamic schools, a medical clinic, and Sharia-compliant financial services. Most alarming, the enclave includes a fortress-like residence constructed directly beside the Plano Police Academy—strategically positioned to overlook restricted law enforcement areas and tactical assets. They haven’t been hiding—they’ve been operating in plain sight. And no one stopped them.

Given the alliance between the hard left and Islam (that is, aka the red-green axis), it’s no wonder that the left is frothing at the mouth given the formation of a new TPUSA group in Texas. The fact that rabid, adult Democrats would partake in doxxing high school kids is indicative of just what is spreading inside America that must be stopped before political violence becomes a norm.

Democrats label anyone who opposes open-door, unvetted migration, and the Marxist group Black Lives Matter, and who calls out the jihad and opposes the Palestinian “resistance” as bigoted, “racist,” “Islamophobic” and white supremacist. They ignore the fact that almost half of Latinos voted for Trump in the elections; and that increasing numbers blacks and other visible minorities support him. It is the left that is genuinely racist, and has set up an us versus them scenario that either ignores or castigates any minority that deviates from their Marxist plan to reshape America. They want to see America devolve into the same third world chaos from which minorities are fleeing. In their view, visible minorities are incapable of seeing the obvious.

“‘These Are Kids’: Dem Parent Accused Of Targeting High School Students Trying To Start TPUSA Group,” by Hank Berrien, Daily Wire, September 19, 2025:

When high school students tried to form a Turning Point USA chapter, the vice president of a local Democratic club in Texas rallied her Facebook group to pressure teachers against sponsoring it.

Nathalie Herpin, a parent and the vice president of the Spring Valley Democrats, posted an “urgent request” on Facebook, urging members to block students’ efforts to launch a Turning Point USA chapter at Stratford High School in Houston’s Spring Branch Independent School District.

“Please please please send emails to two teachers who are rumored to have agreed to sponsoring a club that will sow division and hate among our students,” Herpin wrote. “This is dangerous territory, and it would help if those teachers knew that their consideration was not appreciated by the remainder of the student body.”

Herpin then mentioned Denise Bell, the chair of Harris County’s “Moms for Liberty” chapter, stating that she was “pushing for Stratford students to start a TurningPoint USA club at the school.” Herpin referenced a private GroupMe chat, saying Bell had added “the Gulf Coast Representative of ‘Club America’ which is the Turning Point USA student club name – but it is absolutely the same organization.”…

‘The Turning Point’: Over 37,000 Requests For Turning Point USA Chapters Soar After Charlie Kirk Assassination

The wonder of Charlie.

Andrew Kolvet, Charlie Kirk’s Executive Producer and Turning Point partner, told Maria Bartiromo, that there have been over 37,000 requests to start new chapters of Turning Point across the country.

There are currently 900 official TP college chapters and 1,200 high school chapters. There roughly 23,000 high schools in America. Charlie’s vision, his dream, was to be on every high school campus in the country.

This will birth an army of Charlie Kirks, and that will be his lasting legacy.

‘This is the turning point:’ TPUSA says campus chapter requests surge over 37,000 after Kirk’s assassination

By Amanda Macias

Turning Point USA has seen a massive surge in inquiries for new college chapters as the organization works to advance Charlie Kirk’s vision following his assassination last week.

Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of “The Charlie Kirk Show,” said that Turning Point USA (TPUSA) has received more than 37,000 inquiries from people wanting to start new campus chapters. Kolvet said that TPUSA currently has 900 official college chapters and approximately 1,200 high school chapters.

Kolvet, who is also a spokesman for TPUSA, also said the organization has seen an increase in job applications.

“I have personally received hundreds of offers to work for us, or to work for free, or to just help however,” Kolvet told Fox News Digital.

“Charlie’s vision to have a Club America chapter (our high school brand) in every high school in America (around 23,000) will come true much, much faster than he could have ever possibly imagined,” Kolvet wrote on X on Sunday, calling the response to expand Kirk’s mission “truly incredible.”

In a separate post, Kolvet wrote, “This is the Turning Point.”

Kirk was assassinated during an outdoor event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday afternoon. The event was the first in what was supposed to be a series called “American Comeback Tour.”

Kirk, the charismatic 31-year-old founder of the conservative youth activist group, gained recognition for his signature political debates on college campuses.

EXCLUSIVE: How Did 22-Year-Old Charged With Killing Charlie Kirk End Up Looking Like Elusive Professional?

In the hours following the assassination of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk, the internet flooded with theories about who the shooter might be and how he pulled off the tragic murder.

How did the shooter manage to get into position during a crowded university event, fire off a 200-yard shot with a hunting rifle that struck Kirk in the neck, and then evade capture for nearly two days?

The Daily Caller spoke with former special forces personnel, ex-federal protection detail members and a law enforcement official about what likely went into the suspect’s planning, the relative precision of the shot, and the security measures at Utah Valley University (UVU) that allowed the suspect to slip away undetected. The experts who spoke to the Caller acknowledged that while the suspect was not a professional, he had clearly spent some time planning the assassination.

Kirk was shot and killed Wednesday at UVU, prompting a manhunt that led to two false arrests that day and concluded Friday morning in the apprehension of alleged 22-year-old assassin Tyler Robinson. Kirk was guarded by his own personal security team alongside six officers stationed at the event to provide additional protection, according to a Fox 13 Salt Lake City report.

Utah’s arrest affidavit for Robinson claims that Robinson, wearing dark clothing and a dark backpack, was observed on surveillance footage walking through campus with a “distinctive gait” featuring a “stiff, right leg” before making his way up onto a rooftop overlooking the tent in which Kirk was engaging with students. Officials indicated that the suspect’s stiffened gait was due to him concealing his .30-06 rifle in his pants leg.

Robinson allegedly removed the rifle from its concealed location and sprinted across the roof, setting up in a prone shooting position and shooting Kirk about one minute after lying down. The shot struck Kirk in the neck, leading to immediate severe blood loss.

The approximately 200-yard shot with a scoped hunting rifle suggests some level of experience with a firearm but was not the work of a trained professional, experts told the Caller.

Michael Matranga, CEO of M6 Global Defense and former United States Secret Service (USSS) Presidential Detail, said that unlike Thomas Matthew Crooks, who attempted to assassinate President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, the alleged Kirk assassin likely had  experience using a scoped rifle. He explained that the precision of the shot indicated pre-planning and a deliberate intent to kill.

“Now, what I will tell you is I do not believe that this person had the limited skills that Matthew Crooks had. I think this person probably spent quite a bit of time behind a scope, because if you look at the impact of where that round struck, it was obvious that it was trying to intentionally kill him,” Matranga said. “I think that we’re gonna find that this person has some level of experience.”

Tim Reboulet, Chief Operations Officer of M6 Global Defense and former USSS and Presidential Detail also told the Caller the alleged shooter was “somebody that spends a lot of time with a weapon.”

“Most amateurs, in my opinion, would go for the bigger target, which would be the face or the head. But the line of sight based on the roof elevation, think about looking down into a pop-up tent, that individual was dead on with their shots. I won’t say it was a hired assassin, I won’t say it was a total novice, but I would say it’s somebody that spends a lot of time with a weapon and knows how to handle the weapon and a scope,” he said.

Other experts agreed that the suspected shooter had shot rifles before, but indicated they did not believe he was specifically aiming for Kirk’s neck.

Jeff Gum, former Navy SEAL and Co-founder of Trident Academy, said the shooter may have been “aiming for the head and missed down low … and lot of times when you jerk a trigger it’ll come down into the right.”

“So if you’re a right-handed shooter and you pull and you yank the trigger, it’ll go down to the right, so that could totally be what happened there,” Gum explained.

A law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity similarly stated that they believe the shooter missed his intended target: Kirk’s chest.

“I think he aimed center mass and hit high,” the official guessed. “Too many variables for a head shot at that distance.”

A rifle shot might miss high if a shooter anticipates the recoil from the gun or makes a jerky trigger pull.

“People are reading too much into a 200-yard shot. That’s not far and anyone with some marksmanship skills can make that shot,” the official argued.

Following the deadly shot, surveillance video shows the suspect standing up and running to the other side of the roof after the shot with his rifle in tow. He climbs down the side of the building, hangs for a moment to get closer to the ground, and then drops to the grass below before running away from the scene.

Robinson then allegedly stashed his rifle and ammunition, wrapped in a towel, in a nearby bush. The suspect, according to law enforcement, messaged his roommate the location of the gun and asked him to pick it up from the drop point.

He also allegedly changed clothes after the shooting to avoid being recognized.

But Robinson’s father reportedly did recognize him from released surveillance images and turned him into the authorities. Officials recovered the weapon and ammunition and the roommate is cooperating with the investigation.

“I’m very surprised he carried the hunting rifle into the woods and risked being seen on his way there just to discard it anyway there,” Gum said of the suspect’s actions following the shooting. “He never even chambered another round which is what every pro does immediately and it’s second nature.”

The law enforcement official noted that this, too, may have been part of the alleged shooter’s plans.

“My guess is he carried the rifle off the roof for ballistic forensic reasons because kids watch too much TV and CSI. Not ejecting the shell casing and taking the rifle prevents DNA, fingerprinting and ballistics that might tie him to the shooting. But then he abandoned the rifle in the woods,” the official told the Caller, adding that he may have found the rifle too cumbersome during his escape or saw people nearby and worried about attracting attention.

“I want to know the actions and steps leading up to the event this kid did, because his planning was pretty damn good for a 22-year-old, including his approach and exit,” the official noted. The official suggested the suspect may have scouted the campus several times before the event to figure out the best place to take the shot from, watched the event get set up, and may have even talked to campus police or security who unwittingly gave away where Kirk would be sitting.

New surveillance footage obtained by TMZ allegedly shows Robinson walking toward campus — on the same path he would take later that day — hours before the shooting while wearing different clothing.

“Two to three on campus visits wandering around like a lost freshman and I’m sure he figured out pretty quickly where to take the shot from and how to get in and get out,” the official said.

Gum added, “In the chaos of a situation like that it can be really easy to slip out temporarily and get away like he did.”

The relatively light security on campus during the event would also have made it easier for the shooter to set up and leave the scene without being detected, the experts told the Caller.

Mike Glover, former U.S. Army and Special Forces and host of Mike Force Podcast, spoke to the Caller about the lack of logistical and operational resources present at the event.

“They should have had a larger law enforcement presence which would have deterred something like this from happening. From a security perspective they should have been on the high ground. That’s on buildings, that’s on elevation, period,” he said.

Glover further noted that he doesn’t believe there were Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) around the event, claiming it was an example of a lack of preparedness. “The fact they didn’t have the right protocols in place just shows you the complacency in these departments when it comes to things like this. We didn’t learn from Butler, Pennsylvania,” he argued.

Thomas Fitzsimmons, a security consultant, further emphasized the importance of advance work. “From a private security standpoint, preventing a motivated individual from attacking a client is challenging — due diligence and preparation and scrupulous advance work is the key.”

Fitzsimmons noted that, in his experience, local police departments typically play only a limited role in event security, handling traffic and crowd control. “They simply do not have the budgets or manpower,” he said.

Gum said that “a simple drone operator with one flying overhead getting a bird’s eye view of all potential sniper positions — it would be able to see someone coming in very easy and send police or security team  immediately to intercept, while everyone else can find cover.”“It also could’ve been a potential Las Vegas shooter situation,” Gum asserted. “If someone wanted mass casualties, they could’ve killed 100-plus people with an M4 if they just fired into the crowd.  Security was completely unprepared for this and we were lucky that was not his intention.  If it was a terror cell it could’ve been a complete disaster.”

Matranga emphasized that “particular types of outside political events” can’t continue without thorough advance work from security teams or law enforcement.

“It was very apparent that there were no screening procedures in place, there was no vetting of the people that were there, the event was pre planned and advertised very heavily, without any consideration for the polarization of the actual speaker,” he said. (RELATED: HOUSMAN: Charlie Kirk Represented The Best Of Us)

James Gagliano, a retired supervisory special agent in the FBI and Homeland Security doctoral candidate at St. John’s University, told the Caller he knew some of the former FBI agents who served on Kirk’s security team in the past. He emphasized that they “can only be close body men” and that it would take “20 or 30 men” with significant advance work to prevent what happened.

Gagliano noted they didn’t have those resources and “nor really should you if it’s just somebody coming to exchange ideas. I hate to sound so fatalistic but I guess that’s where we’re at now.”

Charlie Kirk Dead At 31 Following University Shooting

Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk has died at age 31 after being shot at a speaking event at Utah Valley University, President Donald Trump announced Wednesday.

“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” the president wrote on Truth Social. “No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL.”

A gunshot rang out while Kirk was talking to students for one of his “Prove Me Wrong” events at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. A spokesperson with the university told the Caller that Kirk was shot from a building about 200 yards away. Security was seen on video carrying Kirk’s body away from the scene.

Kirk was rushed to the hospital after being shot and was in critical condition before he eventually passed away, Turning Point USA said in official statements and sources close to Kirk’s team told the Caller.

A local college student who was at the event told the Caller that Kirk was answering a question about religion when “all of a sudden, out of nowhere, there was this loud bang, just one shot, bang. And I saw him hit in the neck, and I saw red gushing blood out of it.”

A spokesperson for Utah Valley University originally claimed a suspect was in police custody, but The New York Times later reported that the individual detained was not the shooter.

Kirk was a prominent member of the conservative movement, leading the influential youth organizations Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action.

The founder and CEO of Turning Point was best known for touring universities and speaking about conservative principles, and in some cases, debating students with opposing values.

Kirk founded Turning Point USA, a 501(c)(3) group, in 2012. Its focus was on empowering conservative students to run for student government positions and mobilizing them to support conservative values on campus and beyond.

Turning Point Action, a 501(c)(4), was created in 2019 to serve as a grassroots activist organization. Turning Point Action helped support President Donald Trump in his 2024 re-election campaign.

Turning Point USA regularly holds conservative youth conferences with thousands of attendees, including America Fest, the Young Women’s Leadership Summit and the Student Action Summit.

Through his relentless activism, Kirk became a close ally of President Donald Trump and members of his administration.

Kirk was listed on the 2018 Forbes 30 Under 30 in Law & Policy and was given an honorary doctorate degree from Liberty University.

Kirk married his wife, Erika, in 2021. The couple has two children, a three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son.

Rick Scott Tells Charlie Kirk He Won’t Support Trump’s ‘Beautiful Bill’ In Present Form

Florida Republican Sen. Rick Scott told Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on Tuesday that he would not vote for President Donald Trump’s House-passed “one big, beautiful bill” in its present form.

Trump gave Senate Republicans permission to make major changes to the bill on Sunday as some GOP senators are warning that the package is dead-on-arrival without significant reforms. On “The Charlie Kirk Show,” Scott said he would “absolutely” vote against it without additional spending cuts.

WATCH:

“If they brought it to the floor like right now, there’s not a chance it’ll get the 51 votes it needs … Look we all know we have to balance the budget,” Scott said. “Look, we know that it’s getting harder to sell our treasuries, we know interest rates are going up. We want to get interest rates down, we can get inflation under control. That means balance the budget.”

Kirk said Scott’s opposition to the current bill was “a big statement.” The host asked the senator what it would take to get the bill to pass and about the reconciliation process.

“Charlie, we’ll change it. We’ll have our own bill and … it will go back to a conference or just go back to the House and they’ll pass our bill. But I believe we’re going to dramatically reduce mandatory spending to get this budget balance in a short period of time, which is what we have to do,” Scott told Kirk. “It’s what we promise. I just went through my election just like President Trump did. We all promise we’re going to balance the budget. We are going to set the process to quickly balance in this budget.”

GOP Sens. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Rand Paul of Kentucky are among the fiscal hawks influencing the deliberation about spending deficits. Johnson has also noted Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee and Scott as senators who are seeking further spending cuts in the bill.

Johnson is advocating for the government to return to pre-pandemic spending levels — a nearly $6 trillion reduction — and calls the current bill “completely unacceptable.”

While House Republicans felt pressured to accept the bill due to the upcoming 2026 midterm elections, numerous Senators do not.

“In the House, President Trump can threaten a primary, and those guys want to keep their seats. I understand the pressure. Can’t pressure me that way,” Johnson told reporters on Thursday. “I’m not going to vote for it with minor tweaks. I think everybody’s kind of happy talking and ‘get together and pull together and gotta do this’ and that crap. That’s the way they’re going to try to make it go.”

Paul has said that he opposes the bill based on language that will increase the debt limit by $4 trillion over the next two years — something Trump has demanded.

“I’ve told them if they’ll take the debt ceiling off of it, I’ll consider voting for it,” Paul told reporters on Thursday. “We’ve never, ever voted to raise the debt ceiling this much. It’ll be a historic increase. I think it’s not good for conservatives to be on record supporting a $4 (trillion) or $5 trillion increase in the debt ceiling.”

“If they were to take the debt ceiling off of it and have the tax reductions and spending reductions, I’d probably vote for that,” Paul added. “The spending reductions are imperfect, and I think wimpy, but I’d still vote for the package if I didn’t have to vote to raise the debt ceiling.”

Trump Makes First Appearance Without Ear Bandage

Republican 2024 presidential nominee Donald Trump made his first appearance without his ear bandage Friday evening at a Turning Point Action (TPUSA) Believers Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump’s wound was uncovered as he took the stage to deliver remarks about religious liberty — thirteen days after he was grazed in the ear by a bullet at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“I think you can see I recovered well, and, in fact, just took off the last bandage off of my ear,” Trump told his audience, who erupted with cheers and applause. “I just got it off. I took it off for this group!”

Trump was first spotted wearing an ear bandage at the Republican National Convention (RNC) on July 15. As Trump made his entrance, the crowd chanted “Fight! Fight! Fight!” just as he did after the attempted assassin’s bullet struck his ear on July 13.

“I took a bullet for democracy,” Trump said at Friday’s TPUSA event.

Trump attributed his survival to “the power of prayer and the grace of Almighty God” in his speech. The GOP nominee previously told the New York Post in his first interview since being shot that he’s “supposed to be dead.”

Trump also took aim at presumptive 2024 Democrat nominee Kamala Harris on Friday, who President Joe Biden endorsed soon after first announcing on social media that he quit his reelection bid.

“She was a bum three weeks ago,” Trump said. “A failed vice president in a failed administration.”

Top Democrats including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have since endorsed Harris.

The Obamas finally endorsed Harris early Friday five days after former President Barack Obama stopped short of endorsing the vice president in a lengthy statement responding to Biden’s withdrawal. Obama initially voiced his “confidence” that “leaders of our party will be able to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges.”

College students want to study abroad in Benghazi?!

Turning Point USA went to New York University (NYU) and asked students if they would potentially be interested in a study abroad program in Benghazi. The answers from the students will stun you…..

[youtube]http://youtu.be/Q6xMhFKe1WE[/youtube]

TPUSA notes:

On September 11th 2012 our embassy in Benghazi, Libya was attacked. This has become a focal point of many members of Congress as the American people demand answers.

But what do young people know about Benghazi?

We were interested to find out. So we went to one of America’s most elite institutions, New York University and we asked the students if they would want to study abroad in Benghazi, Libya. We then asked if they knew ANYTHING at all about Benghazi.

TPUSA NOTE: *NYU doesn’t have a study abroad program in Libya. We completely made it up for theatrical purposes*
