German Chancellor Freidrich Merz told the World Economic Forum (WEF) that Germany and the European Union (EU) have “wasted incredible potential” during his speech Thursday.
Merz, a member of the center-right Christian Democratic Union (CDU), said the EU has wasted its potential for growth by curtailing freedom and responsibility.
“Both Germany and Europe have wasted incredible potential for growth in recent years by dragging feet on reforms and unnecessarily and excessively curtailing entrepreneurial freedoms and personal responsibility,” the Chancellor stated in his remarks to the WEF in Davos, Switzerland. “We are going to change that now.”
“We must reduce bureaucracy substantially in Europe,” Merz continued. “The single market was once created to form the most competitive economic area in the world. Instead, we have become the world champion of over-regulation. That has to end.”
German Chancellor Merz admits:
Both Germany and Europe have wasted incredible potential for growth in recent years by dragging their feet on reforms and by unnecessarily and excessively curtailing entrepreneurial freedom and personal responsibility.
“Security and predictability take precedence over excessive regulation and misplaced perfection,” he added.
Merz also stated in his speech that Europe “is not at the mercy” of what he described as a “new world order.”
“The old world order is unraveling at breathtaking pace. We have entered an era where only power counts, a dangerous place,” the chancellor said, according to multiple outlets. “We [Europe] do not have to accept this new reality as fate.”
Merz recently admitted the country’s shutdown of nuclear power plants was a “serious strategic mistake” in a speech to the German Chamber of Industry.
The chancellor said in November 2025 that he would “begin discussing repatriation of Syrians in Germany,” after previously refusing to work with a right-wing party advocating for the policy.

He’s killing it. President Trump is addressing the World Economic Forum, the exclusive annual gathering of world leaders, policymakers and business figures in Davos, Switzerland.
CBS: The crowd of world leaders, business executives and others in Davos remained silent during the beginning of Mr. Trump’s address to the World Economic Forum, without clapping, as he described his transformation of the U.S. federal government and relations with Europe.
Trump took the stage at Davos, addressing, “so many friends, a few enemies,” he said.
“It’s a who’s who, I will say that,” he said.
Mr. Trump spoke in a measured tone as he described the “miracle taking place,” touting a long list of what he framed as his administration’s economic successes.
Economy:
“The United States is in the midst of the fastest and most dramatic economic turnaround in country’s history.”
Mr. Trump began his speech by touting the completion of his first year in office, and a “booming” economy. He noted stock market highs, economic growth and strong 401(k) growth.
“People are doing very well, they’re very happy with me,” he said.
Core inflation last 3 months: 1.6%
Q4 GDP projected: +5.4%
Trump: “Far greater than anyone other than myself predicted.”
Trump on the burgeoning US economy in Davos ‘Instead of hiring bureaucrats we’re firing them”
In 12 months, the Trump administration has removed 270K+ bureaucrats from the payroll, cut federal spending by $100B, slashed the federal budget deficit by 27%, cut 129 regulations for every ONE new regulation approved, passed the largest tax cuts in history, and so much more.
Tariffs:
Live blogging highlights:
“The USA is the economic engine of the planet, and when America booms, the entire world booms.
History shows that when America goes bad, the whole world goes bad.
When we go down, you follow us down. When we go up, you follow us up”
“I ended eight wars … and without trade and tariffs you wouldn’t have been able to end any of them … But they’ve brought hundreds of billions of dollars pouring into the United States Treasury…”
On Europe:
“Frankly, many parts of our world are being destroyed and the leaders don’t even UNDERSTAND what’s happening! And the ones that DO understand won’t do
“Certain places in Europe are not even recognizable anymore. And that’s not in a positive way. That’s in a very negative way. And I love Europe, and I want to see Europe go good. But it’s not heading in the right direction.”
Mr. Trump said he wanted to discuss in Davos, “how we want to raise living standards for our citizens,” and how European countries could emulate the U.S., because “certain places in Europe are not even recognizable.”
“I don’t want to insult anybody, and I say I don’t recognize it, and that’s not in a positive way. That’s in a very negative way. And I love Europe and I want to see Europe do good, but it’s not heading in the right direction.”
Mr. Trump said many Western governments had turned their back on, “everything that makes nations rich and powerful and strong.”
“Quite frankly, many parts of our world are being destroyed before our very eyes, and the leaders don’t even understand what’s happening, and the ones that do understand aren’t doing anything about it.”
On Crytpo:
“I’m also working to ensure America remains the Crypto Capital of the World… Congress is working very hard on Crypto market structure legislation, which I hope to sign very soon, unlocking new pathways for Americans to reach financial freedom.”
On windmills:
President Trump calld out the “stupid people” who support wind energy in Davos
“China is smart. They make windmills, sell ’em for a fortune, and sell ’em to the STUPID PEOPLE that buy them!”
Trump said, China builds them, sells them but they don’t use them. They don’t use windmill energy.
“Windmills all over Europe, all over the place, and they are LOSERS. One thing I’ve learned: the more windmills a country has, the more money that country LOSES. CHINA makes almost all the windmills, and yet I haven’t been able to find any wind farms in China!”
“The greatest HOAX in history, the Green New Scam. Windmills, destroy your land! Every time that goes around you lose $1,000. You’re supposed to MAKE money with energy, not LOSE money!”
Trump lauds his tariffs and says Venezuela will do “fantastically well”
Trump says his tariffs have enabled U.S. to “radically reduce our ballooning trade deficit”
The president touted his administration’s trade agreements with other countries, including European nations, Japan and South Korea, and said they “raise growth and cause stock markets to boom, not only in the U.S., but in virtually every country that came to make a deal. Because as you’ve learned, when the United States goes up, you follow.”
He said Venezuela has “got problems, but we’re helping them,” claiming that after the U.S. operation to capture former Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro, Venezuela will “be making more money than they’ve made in a long time. Venezuela is going to do fantastically well.”
“The attack ended and they said: ‘let’s make a deal,” Mr. Trump said.
Greenland:
Greenland is a vast, almost entirely uninhabited and undeveloped territory. It is sitting undefended in a key strategic location between the U.S., Russia, and China.
This enormous unsecured island is actually part of North America — on the northern frontier of the Western Hemisphere.
It is a core national security interest of the U.S. — and in fact, has been our policy for hundreds of years to prevent outside threats from entering our hemisphere.
Donald J. Trump said that no country—and no alliance of countries—has the capacity to defend Greenland except the United States, arguing that the island’s security is inseparable from America’s own.
Speaking to a crowd, Trump opened with a light moment—joking about whether he should address Greenland—before turning serious. He said he holds “tremendous respect” for the people of Greenland and Denmark, but stressed that every NATO ally must be capable of defending its territory, something Greenland cannot do on its own.
Trump warned that the world is far more dangerous than it was in the past, citing advanced missile systems, nuclear threats, and emerging weapons “I can’t even talk about,” and argued that Greenland’s vulnerability makes it a strategic liability.
He rejected claims that U.S. interest in Greenland is about rare earth minerals, insisting instead that geography and security are decisive. Greenland, he said, is “an enormous, unsecured island” on the northern frontier of the Western Hemisphere—effectively part of North America—and therefore falls within America’s strategic responsibility.
“This isn’t about resources,” Trump made clear. “It’s about security.”
“This would not be a threat to NATO – this would greatly enhance the security of the entire alliance.”
“You need the ownership to defend it,” the president said. “You can’t defend it on a lease. Number one, legally it’s not defensible in that way, totally. And psychologically, who the hell wants to defend a license agreement or a lease?”
“All we want from Denmark for national and international security and to keep our very energetic and dangerous potential enemies at bay is this land on which we’re going to build the greatest golden dome ever built,” he said, referring to his plans for a missile defense system.
He then lashed out at Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, saying the U.S. would use ownership of Greenland to defend the neighboring country.
“Canada gets a lot of freebies from us, by the way. They should be grateful, but they’re not. I watched your prime minister yesterday. He wasn’t so grateful.”
Trump to Carney: “Canada lives because of us. Mark, remember that before you make those speeches.”
NATO:
President Trump says the US gives “so much” to NATO and gets “so little” in return.
Trump has said the US annexation of Greenland would “greatly enhance the security” of NATO.
He said the US was “treated very unfairly by NATO”.
“We give so much and we get so little in return,” he said.
Trump says NATO has never given America anything and now he’s calling in the debt.
“The problem with NATO is that we’ll be there for them, 100%, but I’m not sure they’ll be there for us,” Mr. Trump said. “They’re not there for us on Iceland [Greenland],” the president said, “I can tell you, our stock market took the first dip yesterday because of Iceland [Greenland].”
Mr. Trump said the U.S. had “never asked for anything else” apart from Greenland.
“You can say yes and we’ll be very appreciative, or you can say no and we will remember. A strong and secure America means a strong NATO, and that’s one reason why I’m working every day to ensure our military is very powerful, our borders are very strong, and above all our economy is strong, because national security requires economic security and economic prosperity.”
On credit card interest rates:
“The profit margin for credit card companies now exceeds 50%, and they charge Americans interest rates of 28%… So, to help our citizens recover from the Biden disaster… I’m asking Congress to cap credit card interest rates at 10% for one year.”
“A republic, if you can keep it.” — Benjamin Franklin’s response to Elizabeth Willing Powel’s question: “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?”
The World Economic Forum (WEF) predicted that, by 2030, individuals would own nothing and be happy and joyful.
Here are 8 predictions made by the WEF:
Does this sound familiar? It should because it mirrors the Kamala’s platform for 2024.
Comparing the WEF’s 8 Predictions for the World in 2030 and Kamala’s 2024 Platform
WEF: Whatever you want you’ll rent. And it will be delivered by drone.
Remarks by Vice President Harris at a Campaign Event in Raleigh,NC — Homeownership and what that means — it’s a symbol of the pride that comes with hard work. It’s financial security. It represents what you will be able to do for your children. And sadly, right now, it is out of reach for far too many American families. There’s a serious housing shortage in many places. It’s too difficult to build, and it’s driving prices up.
WEF: The U.S. won’t be the world’s leading superpower. A handful of countries will dominate.
WEF: You won’t die waiting for an organ donor. We won’t transplant organs we’ll print new ones instead.
The National Library of Medicine published on May 19, 2022 3D Bioprinting of Human Hollow Organs stating, “3D bioprinting is a rapidly evolving technique that has been found to have extensive applications in disease research, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine. 3D bioprinting might be a solution to global organ shortages and the growing aversion to testing cell patterning for novel tissue fabrication and building superior disease models. It has the unrivaled capability of layer-by-layer deposition using different types of biomaterials, stem cells, and biomolecules with a perfectly regulated spatial distribution. The tissue regeneration of hollow organs has always been a challenge for medical science because of the complexities of their cell structures. In this mini review, we will address the status of the science behind tissue engineering and 3D bioprinting of epithelialized tubular hollow organs. This review will also cover the current challenges and prospects, as well as the application of these complicated 3D-printed organs.”
WEF: You’ll eat much less meat. An occasional treat, not a staple for the good of the environment and our health. A billion people will be displaced by climate change. We’ll have to do a better job of welcoming and integrating refugees.
As vice president, Kamala Harris helped pass the largest government investment into climate and clean energy initiatives, and grants to states to help recover from extreme weather events.
Causes of climate change
Q: Do you believe that climate change is largely driven by human activity, including the burning of fossil fuels? If not, is there a different cause you would cite?
A: Harris calls climate change an existential threat and says the United States needs to act urgently to address it. As a presidential candidate in 2019, she released a $10 trillion climate plan that calls for investing in renewable energy, holding polluters accountable, helping communities affected by climate change and protecting natural resources. As California attorney general, she prosecuted oil companies for environmental violations. As vice president, she was the tie-breaking vote in the Senate for the Inflation Reduction Act, which provided about $370 billion to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 40 percent below their 2005 levels by the end of this decade.
Climate change and extreme weather
Q: Do you believe climate change is making disasters such as hurricanes, wildfires and heat waves more intense?
A: Harris has said the United States must take action to fight climate change in the face of increasing drought, floods, hurricanes, wildfires and sea level rise. As vice president, Harris announced more than $1 billion in grants in 2022 for states to address flooding and extreme heat exacerbated by climate change. “The frequency has accelerated in a relatively short period of time,” she said. “The science is clear. Extreme weather will only get worse, and the climate crisis will only accelerate.’’
How to address climate change
Q: Should climate change be addressed through government action or market forces?
A: The Biden-Harris administration’s signature Inflation Reduction Act represents the largest infusion of government cash into climate and clean-energy initiatives. Harris and Biden sought to put the U.S. on a path to cutting greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030. Under Harris’s climate plan as a 2019 presidential candidate, she advocated for a blend of government action and market forces to combat global warming. “A climate pollution fee can play an important role as one of several interrelated policies to reduce emissions and hold polluters accountable…” she said. “However, history shows us that reliance on market mechanisms alone can often leave communities behind.”
Clean energy tax credits
Q: Do you support clean-energy tax credits such as those for electric vehicles?
A: In 2022, Harris cast the tie-breaking vote to pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which provides hundreds of billions of dollars in government subsidies for electric cars and other clean-energy technology, including tax credits for clean-energy and energy-efficiency home projects. She has been a proponent of electric vehicles and as a senator supported a national zero-emissions vehicle standard. In May, she visited Detroit to announce federal grants for smaller companies making electric-vehicle parts.
WEF: You could be preparing to go to Mars. Scientists will have worked out how to keep you healthy in space. The start of the journey to find alien life?
NSA.gov states, “Mars remains our horizon goal for human exploration because it is one of the only other places we know where life may have existed in the solar system. What we learn about the Red Planet will tell us more about our Earth’s past and future, and may help answer whether life exists beyond our home planet. Like the Moon, Mars is a rich destination for scientific discovery and a driver of technologies that will enable humans to travel and explore far from Earth.”
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump says Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate, is a communist and Marxist and refers to her as “Comrade Kamala.” While it’s doubtful that Trump’s name calling helps him win over voters, if he has to call her something, he should have tagged her as a socialist. That’s because Harris’s major policy proposals are almost identical to those promoted by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).
The DSA lists 10 policy positions under the heading “Our Platform.”
First up is “Deepening and Strengthening Democracy.” Of course, President Biden, Harris and nearly all Democrats repeatedly claim “democracy is under attack” and that Trump is a “threat to democracy.”
The DSA says it wants to “end minority rule” by getting rid of the Senate and the Electoral College. Harris would likely settle for ending the Senate’s filibuster so bills and all presidential appointments could be decided by a majority vote.
In addition, the socialists want to add seats to the U.S. Supreme Court (court packing) and impose term limits on the justices. Harris and most Democrats are pushing both SCOTUS reforms.
The DSA’s second item is “Abolition of the Carceral State” (“carceral” refers to prison and jail time). The DSA wants to “defund the police” — where have you heard that before? — and “free all incarcerated people.” Harris supported the “defund” movement and eliminating bail for some crimes until those positions became political liabilities. Now she tries to hide her soft-on-crime policies by stressing her background as a prosecutor.
Under “Abolish White Supremacy,” the DSA wants the government to pay reparations to Black people, “extend and expand sanctuary protections across the U.S.” and “end environmental racism.” Harris is on board with all of those, or at least she used to be.
There is a long DSA list of demands under “A Powerful Labor Movement,” including a right to unionize and an end to “right to work laws.” Isn’t the Biden-Harris administration supposed to be the most pro-union in history?
One of the DSA’s biggies is “Economic Justice,” where we find a whole host of demands, including free public college, canceling all student loan debt and medical debt and massive new regulations. Harris’s “opportunity economy” includes all three.
Of course, you had to assume “Gender and Sexuality Justice” would be on the DSA’s list, which includes “reproductive justice for all” (i.e., abortion) and a “guarantee of queer-friendly and gender-affirming healthcare.” Harris embraces both.
Next is the “Green New Deal,” which isn’t green or new. The GND has always been a social justice program masquerading as environmental policy. Harris was one of the original GND co-sponsors.
Under the topic of “Health Justice” the DSA supports Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-Vt.) Medicare for All bill — which is a government-run health care system and has no resemblance to Medicare. Harris was a co-sponsor until she decided it would be a political liability.
The DSA’s last heading proposes “International Solidarity” and “Anti-imperialism.” It’s not clear what Harris’s foreign policy is, but it likely reflects Biden’s appeasement policy with respect to China and Iran.
To be sure, the DSA’s agenda goes into much more depth on each major point than Harris does. But then who doesn’t go into more depth that Kamala Harris? So, while it’s possible that Harris would disagree with some DSA sub-points, it’s undeniable that she agrees, or has agreed, with the socialists on their major themes.
Harris has tried to separate herself from some of her past publicly stated positions — thus hoping to be “unburdened by what has been.” But she hasn’t made a meaningful shift on any issue. She made that clear in her softball interview with CNN’s Dana Bash when she asserted her “values haven’t changed.” That was a wink to anyone who was concerned Harris might have moved toward the center.
Her values — and those of today’s Democratic Party — are essentially identical to those of the Democratic Socialists of America. The only major difference is DSA members aren’t trying to hide their socialist beliefs; Harris is.
The Bottom Line
Mary Rooke in a Daily Caller column titled Walz Solidifies Harris Policy Position That Would Transform Country As We Know It wrote, “The issue is that Democrats like Walz and Vice President Kamala Harris use the expression “fire in a crowded theater” to excuse the suppression of a wide variety of speech protected under the First Amendment. Anything Democrats consider ‘hate speech,’ ‘misinformation’ or ‘disinformation’ is grounds for censorship in their view.”
The destruction of the First Amendment will fundamentally transform America into a Marxist dictatorship.
The Harris platform mirrors that of the World Economic Forum.
That is the reality of what is as stake on November 5th, 2024.
Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness under our Constutional Republic or Democrat Socialismo under Harris/Walz.

Billionaire organizations and foundations, government agencies, and activist pressure groups are funding and coordinating a global war on modern agriculture, nutrition, and Earth’s poorest, hungriest people. Instead of helping more families get nutritious food, better healthcare, and higher living standards, they’re doing the opposite and harming biodiversity in the process.
The World Economic Forum wants to reimagine, reinvent, and transform the global food system to eliminate greenhouse gases from food production. Central to its plan are alternatives to animal protein: meal worm potato chips, bug burgers instead of beef patties, and meat loaves and sausages made from lake flies, for instance. Fixing the WEF’s toxic workplace is apparently a low priority.
A UN Food and Agriculture Organization report advises that turning “edible insects” into “tasty” food products can create thriving local businesses and even promote “inclusion of women.”
Created to alleviate global poverty, the World Bank has decided the “manmade climate crisis” is a far greater threat to impoverished families than contaminated water, malaria, and other killer diseases, hunger, or even two billion people still burning wood and dung because they don’t have reliable, affordable electricity. It has unilaterally decreed that 45% of its funds – an extra $9 billion in FY2024 – will be shifted to helping the poor “better withstand the devastation of climate change.”
(The Bank has also decided that even more of its taxpayer funding – $300-million instead of “only” $70-million – should be gifted to the Palestinian Authority, which pays terrorists to murder Israelis.)
Of course, most of the better and lesser-known environmental pressure groups are also deeply involved in food, agriculture, and energy policy campaigns: Greenpeace, Sierra Club, EarthJustice, Friends of the Earth, Pesticide Action Network, Center for Food Safety, La Via Campesina (The Peasant Way), Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa, and countless others.
Like the rest of the “agro-ecology” movement, they deride and malign modern agriculture as a scourge inflicted by greedy mega-corporations. They oppose fossil fuels, pesticides, herbicides, and biotechnology. They extol “food sovereignty” and the “right to choose.” But their policies reflect top-down tyranny and bullying, with little room for poor farmers to embrace modern agricultural technologies and practices.
In addition to WEF, FAO, and World Bank support, these hard-green organizations have the ideological, organizational, and financial backing of the US Agency for International Development, EU agencies, and a host of progressive and far-left American, European, and other foundations.
The US-based AgroEcology Fund was created by the Christensen Fund, New Fields Foundation, and Swift Foundation. Its funding and programs are overseen by the New Venture Fund, which helps “charitable” and “educational” organizations direct funds to programs that align with what many characterize as neo-colonialist and eco-imperialist goals.
Other major players include the Schmidt Family Foundation, Packard Foundation, Ford Foundation, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, and Ben and Jerry Foundation.
This is serious money – hundreds of millions of dollars per year in food, agriculture, and climate change funding. It completely overshadows the piddling $9,000 that Kenyan farmer Jusper Machogu raised via donations to his “climate realism” website – much of it given to neighbors so they could drill water wells, buy tanks of propane, or get connected to the local grid.
And yet Mr. Machogu incurred the wrath of the BBC’s “Climate Disinformation Officer.” (Yes, the Beeb actually has such a position.) The CDO attacked him for “tweeting false and misleading claims” about climate change and saying Africa should develop its oil, gas, and coal reserves – instead of relying entirely on intermittent, weather-dependent wind and solar. Even worse, the farmer had the temerity to accept donations from non-Africans, including “individuals with links to the fossil fuel industry and groups known for promoting climate change denial.”
Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is another major donor to agro-ecology outfits. It’s part of the legacy of guilt-ridden oil money from John D. Rockefeller’s Standard Oil Co. corporate trust – an inheritance that includes nearly 1,000 climate-related institutions, foundations, and activist organizations.
As Canada’s Frontier Centre put it, “Every time you hear a ‘climate change’ scare story, [the person writing it] was PAID. He is a Rockefeller stooge. He may not know it, but his profession has been entirely corrupted.” Far worse, I would add, the writer and his (or her) organization are complicit in perpetuating global poverty, energy deprivation, hunger, disease, and death – because the fearmongering drives destructive energy and food production policies.
Alone or collectively, these policy corrupters must not be underestimated in this war to preserve and expand modern energy, agriculture, and global nutrition. Thankfully, there is increasing pushback. Many families simply do not want to be trapped in poverty, disease, mud-and-thatch huts, an absence of educational opportunities for their children, and a future of backbreaking, dawn-to-dusk labor in little subsistence-farming fields.
That’s especially so when films, news stories, and cell phones present American and European farming equipment and practices – and the crop yields, wealth, health, homes, leisure time, and opportunities that accompany those modern agricultural systems.
Poor farmers also see China, India, Indonesia, and other countries rapidly industrializing and modernizing by using oil, gas, and coal. They see rumblings of change in many countries that are intent on charting their own courses, with fossil fuels as the energy foundation for that growth. They’re rejecting the eco-colonialism and eco-imperialism that wealthy Westerners seek to impose on them.
They are getting the message that humanity has faced climate fluctuations and extreme weather events throughout history … and survived them, dealt with them, adapted to them, prospered. That there is no real-world evidence that manmade greenhouse gas emissions – especially the trivial amounts generated by agriculture – have replaced the powerful natural forces that caused past climate changes.
They increasingly realize that organic and subsistence farming requires vastly more land – which would otherwise be wildlife habitats – than modern mechanized farming to get the same yields. Plowing those habitats would decimate plant and animal diversity.
That locking up fossil fuels and relying instead on biofuels and plant-based feedstocks for thousands of essential products would require even more acreage. So would mining for massive amounts of metals and minerals to manufacture wind, solar, and battery technologies.
Most importantly, they understand that humanity today has far greater wealth, far more knowledge, far better technologies, and resources than any past generations.
To suggest that we cannot adapt to climate changes or survive and recover from extreme weather events is simply absurd. To suggest that farmers should revert to … or remain stuck in … ancient farming practices and technologies – to save the world from computer-generated manmade climate disasters – is eco-imperialism at its most lethal.
South Africa’s electricity minister recently said his country will not be “turned into a guinea pig for a worldwide Green New Deal.” Hopefully, all developing countries will soon apply that same attitude to anarchists who would use the world’s poor as guinea pigs in global agricultural and nutrition experiments.

Schwab’s blunt language shows globalists are no longer hiding their agenda, if only people would listen and take them seriously. But they know most are zombies no longer able to think for themselves.
World Economic Forum founder and director Klaus Schwab, speaking at the WEF’s recently concluded summer meeting in China, has informed his elitist followers that ushering in the globalist agenda will require humanity to be “forced” into a “collaboration” with the unelected organization. And the time for forced collaboration has now arrived.
Schwab made the declaration during his opening remarks at the WEF’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as the “Summer Davos,” in Dalian, China.
He praised China for its economic policies, which are seen by the globalists as the model of top-down centralized planning in a high-tech surveillance state run through smart cities, smart EVs, smart homes, smart appliances, smart meters, and AI, digital IDs and CBDCs, all of which hold one thing in common — they come with on-off switches not under the control of the end user, which is we the people. In their ideal world, we live as slaves at the privilege of our masters. We get out of line, they can cut off our electric power, our electric car, our electronic digital money, everything.
Schwab told the elitist participants gathered in China that they must “force” humanity into a “collaboration” with the unelected WEF. This is why Schwab told his globalist comrades at a previous meeting over two years ago to expect an “angrier world.” When you force people to live in ways that controvert their best interests, it tends to make them angry! They know their policies related to a green economy, perpetual wars and severe restrictions on food production will be extremely unpopular and cause civil wars on top of the world war they already have planned.
Schwab stated:
“To drive future economic growth we must embrace innovation and force the collaboration across sectors, regions, nations, and cultures to create a more peaceful, inclusive, sustainable, and resilient future. At this critical juncture the active participation of all stakeholders is essential to ensure a sustainable development path.”
Of course the biggest stakeholders of all, those paying taxes to fund governments, have no seat at the table in Schwab’s elitist meetings. And that’s by design. We are seen by these globalist predators as useless eaters, part of a herd that needs to be culled in order to preserve global resources for themselves. Speaking like a true Malthusian, Schwab said “we must force humanity into collaboration” with the WEF schemes to depopulate the planet under the guise of climate change.
Watch the video clip where Schwab touts the so-called “Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies” such as artificial intelligence. This is why they don’t need as many of us on the planet as in the past. AI will perform most of the tasks for the elites. They don’t need as many human slaves.
Later in his speech, Schwab returned to the topic of the Fourth Industrial Revolution while doubling down on the theme of this year’s meeting, stating that there are “limits to growth.” In globalist-speak, “limits to growth” is code for “activate depopulation agenda.”
Limits to Growth is the title of a key globalist tome published by the Club of Rome in 1972. One of the co-authors, Dennis Meadows, said six years ago in an interview that the world’s population must be reduced from the current 8 billion down to 1 or 2 billion. Meadows said he hopes this massive depopulation could be done in a “peaceful way.”
Notice, Meadows says he would like to see a “smart dictatorship” brought upon the earth. This is the global technocracy in which people’s lives are ruled by scientists, engineers and other “experts.” Politicians, if they even exist under this vision, will be figureheads only. We already see that happening. Does anyone think Joe Biden is actually in charge of anything?
And yet, this is the man we are told we elected to represent us in 2020. Anyone who believes Biden is making his own decisions, or has made any important decisions from day one, is fundamentally gullible and deceived. He is a Manchurian candidate and has been from day one, and because he has become senile to the point where his globalist handlers are no longer able to hide it, they are ready to replace him with a new puppet. The new puppet will look prettier and speak smoother, but he/she will no more be in charge of his or her actions as president than Biden has been.

During her May 15 speech to The Beyond Growth Conference held by the European Parliament, European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen, citing a 1970s de-growth plan published by the Club of Rome, made reference to the European Union’s “social market economy” five times in a span of less than 150 words.
A “social market economy,” of course, is a reference to the sort of central economic planning engaged in by authoritarian socialist governments throughout history. “And this is exactly why we put forward our European Green Deal,” Von Der Leyen told the conference. “Building a 21st century clean-energy circular economy is one of the most significant economic challenges of our times.”
The agenda of the Beyond Growth Conference focused on devising plans to manage the destruction of economic growth that is a centerpiece of the real agenda of the energy transition. Limitations on energy minerals and other resources required by wind, solar and electric vehicles, and on the ability to continue printing trillions of debt-funded dollars and Euros in a vain attempt to subsidize them to the scale required to displace fossil fuels inevitably means the forcing of common citizens in the Western world to scale down their standards of living and limit their mobility to meet the net-zero by 2050 goals being dictated at the global level. Thus, the need for the EU to move “beyond growth” and back to a more primitive mode of living.
Rising recognition and acceptance of these limitations, along with the success by Western governments in enforcing authoritarian edicts on their populations during the COVID-19 pandemic, is now leading to a rapid evolution in the overarching narrative and talking points related to the energy transition. The former energy transition narrative of “we will scale up renewables and EVs and you won’t even notice the difference in your daily lives” has been transformed to “we will scale everything down and you will just have to live with it” with stunning speed during 2023.
A report titled “The Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool: Benchmarking the Transition to Sustainable Urban Mobility” issued by the World Economic Forum in May is another great example. Based largely upon a 2017 UC Davis report titled “3 Revolutions in Urban Transportation,” the WEF report advocates for authoritarian governments to force the reduction of the numbers of vehicles on the road from the current global estimate of 1.45 billion to just 500 million. The UC Davis report went largely unnoticed in 2017 because the climate alarmist lobby had not been sufficiently emboldened at that time to publicly discuss its real goals. But that mask is now coming off.
The authors of the WEF report claim citizens who can no longer own cars would still be allowed to move away from their planned cities of the future, but only via “shared transport,” i.e. electric buses and a new network of thousands of miles of high-speed rail. But California has clearly shown that thoughts of building a huge network of tens of thousands of miles of new high-speed rail in the western world in the next 27 years is a complete fantasy. California’s own high-speed rail boondoggle, originally proposed 27 years ago in 1996, has seen its budget blossom from $8 billion to over $130 billion, and still hasn’t managed to lay a single mile of rail.
The real world simply does not conform itself to fantasies like this plan, and everyone at the WEF is fully aware of that reality. Thus, what this plan really amounts to is a scheme to enable the speeding-up of implementation of socialist/authoritarian governments in the West to enforce the new restrictions on the lives of common citizens, an effort that began to accelerate during the COVID pandemic. Authoritarian governments always endeavor to restrict the free flow of information outside of approved propaganda, and restricting mobility is a key means of achieving that goal.
As we see the EU and the WEF now freely admitting, economic de-growth and forcing citizens of Western nations to live smaller, less prosperous lives are the real end goals of this energy transition. The narrative has officially shifted, and we would do well to take them at their word.

The “sustainability” concept was introduced to the investing world in 2006 with the UN publication “Principles for Responsible Investing” (PRI), which advocated investments that incorporated environmental, social, and governance (ESG) concepts.[1] Once again, the three Es of sustainability, but government has replaced the E of economy, making the governmental role explicit. This agenda is now explicitly tied to Agenda 2030 and as of 2019 included 2,450 PRI signatory companies with assets totaling $80 trillion under management.[2]
Citing the UN-mandated SDGs, Acuity Knowledge Partners, an investment advisory group, calls “sustainable finance” a “new frontier” toward investment banking that is “environmentally and socially sustainable.”[3]
Numerous organizations now pursue the UN’s notion of sustainability. This includes large and influential organizations explicitly involved in promoting Agenda 2030, such as the WEF, BlackRock, and thousands of smaller ones. BlackRock partners with Climate Action 100, which includes numerous corporations, other investment funds, and nonprofits controlling $60 trillion in assets.[4]
At the November 2022 G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia, member countries including the U.S. signed the Bali Declaration, which acknowledges support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals:
We met in Bali on 15–16 November 2022, at a time of unparalleled multidimensional crises. We have experienced the devastation brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, and other challenges including climate change, which has caused economic downturn, increased poverty, slowed global recovery, and hindered the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. [emphasis added][5]
Like many of the leftist agendas, once it caught on, it grew and metastasized. Sustainability now includes dozens of “social equity” concepts, social credit scores, and the WEF’s “reinventing” capitalism—calling it “stakeholder capitalism.” It is also behind the movement to abolish all carbon fuels and gasoline-powered autos.
First articulated in a 1973 Davos Manifesto, stakeholder capitalism directs corporate profits to underwrite the Left’s wish list of woke agendas.[6] It not only violates corporate responsibilities to shareholders, but also subtly undermines private property rights by providing benefits to many “stakeholders” that have no ownership in the relevant stocks. KPMG has stated:
KPMG ESG solutions are both holistic and practical. We’ll guide your teams to drive sustainable innovation across your business and help you gain a competitive edge. With deep expertise across critical issues—including decarbonization, reporting, sustainable finance and DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion)—we’ll help you create the right blueprint for integrating ESG. A blueprint that simplifies your strategy, guides its full implementation and lets you take the lead on ESG . . . because how you grow matters.[7]
KPMG has an entire department devoted to directing its clients into an ESG model. Its “ESG Maturity Assessment” makes clear that results of that assessment will become public knowledge—an implicit form of social credit scoring that will pressure any company foolish enough to complete the assessment to comply with WEF dictates. Cheryl Crumley of the Washington Timeswrites:
Under a WEF-imagined stakeholder system, banks wouldn’t lend to businesses that don’t comply with, say, climate change policies or, say, vaccination mandates. Investors wouldn’t invest if the WEF didn’t approve. Insurers wouldn’t insure—governments wouldn’t permit—developers wouldn’t develop—builders wouldn’t build—and so forth and so on. The government, through partners and friends in business, would be the behind-the-scenes’ strings puller. And better believe this: The only businesses that would fit into this new government-run system would be the leftists.[8]
Following the 2023 Davos meeting, WEF announced that 137 companies had developed Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics, a way to measure and report nonfinancial disclosures that showed their progress in meeting ESG goals:
Global challenges amplified by the climate crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic have made ESG issues even more pressing for policymakers, boards and executives.
To promote alignment among existing metrics and disclosure frameworks, the World Economic Forum, with partners including Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC, has identified a set of universal metrics and disclosures—the Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics.[9]
In 2020, the WEF reported that “120 of the world’s largest companies” had created the Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics.[10] So by 2023, it had actually added only 17 companies, and only 55 of the 137 had been reporting for the past two years.[11] Maybe the enthusiasm for stakeholder capitalism is overrated? BlackRock, the most aggressive promoter of sustainable development, is apparently having second thoughts about its support for stakeholder capitalism at the expense of its investors.[12] Meanwhile CEO Larry Fink is facing pressures to resign.[13]
Digital identification, or “digital ID,” can be authenticated unambiguously through a digital channel, unlocking access to banking, government benefits, education, and many other critical services. The risks and potential for misuse of digital ID are real and deserve careful attention. When well-designed, digital ID not only enables civic and social empowerment, but also makes possible real and inclusive economic gains—a less well understood aspect of the technology.[14]
McKinsey acknowledges that digital IDs could be abused and that a successful digital ID program must be guided by the rule of law. But whose law? China and many other nations recognize no law and use social credit scores to control and persecute their people. To imagine that the UN would respect individual rights would require ignoring practically everything the UN does. The United States appears to be following suit as more and more government corruption and incompetence is discovered at every level. Imposing digital ID on everyone in the world would put everyone under the control of increasingly despotic governments.
The idea of using digital IDs as vaccine passports was also discussed at the G20 meeting. The declaration included a section promoting “digital solutions and non-digital solutions, including proof of vaccinations . . . as part of the efforts to strengthen prevention and response to future pandemics, that should capitalize and build on the success of the existing standards and digital COVID-19 certificates.”[15]
According to Charity Support, for 2023 the top nine nonprofits promoting sustainability concepts are:
But as we have seen, that is just the tip of the iceberg. The entire society has become infected with this misplaced agenda. MIT even offers a professional certificate program for “sustainability.” Many colleges now offer a bachelor’s degree in sustainability.[16]
