I am a German citizen, like playing classical music and sports.
Being an avid reader, I prefer the classics and books about the natural sciences, scientific articles and popular science publications.
I do not believe in the left-right division of the political spectrum, and I do not think that a bipolar world order has returned.
The world as it is now (2023) is multi-faceted and consists of many powerful countries that act independently from the two big players (China and the USA).
Rather than focusing on day to day politics, I would like to give a glimpse on what is behind/beyond it (political philosophy, history of ideas and of countries).
I hope to provide a "German" view of world issues because many important articles, books and peer-reviewed publications were and are available in German language only.
As Friedrich Nietzsche wrote in Thus spoke Zarathustra, “No shepherd and one herd! Everybody wants the same everybody is the same: whoever feels different goes voluntarily into a madhouse.”
Let me expose the madhouses.
It is my intention to think independently. Let me even try to reject the many prejudices that most journalists, politicians and people share in my own country.
"Even truth needs to be clad in new garments if it is to appeal to a new age.” (Georg Christoph Lichtenberg, physicist and philosopher, 1742-1799)
