The Political Purging of America’s Military: ‘Battle Hymn of the Republic’ in Peril

The video above shows the United States Army Field Band’s rendition of one of America’s most time-honored songs. Watch “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” while you can, because the days of U.S. military bands being allowed to perform this patriotic song will likely come to an abrupt end. Why? The Biden Pentagon is indoctrinating service members in every military branch with an offshoot of Marxist ideology known as Critical Race Theory.

According to CRT, “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and other patriotic songs based on America’s Judeo-Christian heritage glorify what we are told is an evil, immoral and “systemically racist” nation, so much so that the entire system must be scrapped in favor of a system that’s “equitable” to all: communism. Just as the Pentagon is now politically purging all service branches of “extremists” (see article below), its embrace of Marxism will, if not reversed, result in the elimination of traditional patriotic songs being played by military bands. Throughout the Cold War, the U.S. military stood four-square against communist ideology; now, the Pentagon is embracing it.

Not since the Civil War has our constitutional Republic faced being overturned from within.

Although no guns were fired and no bombs were exploded, the Jan. 6 “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol is being used as justification to purge the military of “extremists.” Translation: Get rid of military members who voted for Trump, love their country, support the 2nd Amendment, are Christian conservatives, or object to being brainwashed with critical race theory, Project 1619, white privilege, Black Lives Matter, identity politics, wokeness, toxic masculinity and other Marxist political themes.

Political purging of a nation’s military is nothing new. Hitler did it, as did the USSR, where military units were assigned a Political Officer whose duty was to spy on, identify and severely punish any military members who expressed even the slightest hint of opposition to communism.

The same kind of ideological cleansing of the military occurred under Mao, Castro, Chavez and the communist despots of the Soviet Bloc countries of Eastern Europe. Political purging of the military is carried out today in Russia, China, North Korea and every other authoritarian regime in the world.

As of Jan. 20, 2021, political purging of the military is occurring where such a totalitarian power grab once would have been unthinkable: right here in America.

We are living in perilous times.
