Wokeness: A Grave Risk to America’s Military [Video]
Wokeness is destroying American military might from within its own ranks, and it’s doing so more effectively than any foreign enemy ever could.
Entrepreneur Bill Walton had a long discussion about wokeness in the US military with the Center’s Senior Analyst for Strategy J. Michael Waller and LTG William G. Boykin USA (Ret), one of the original combat commanders of the Army’s elite Delta Force.
The conversation ran as Episode 144 of the Bill Walton Show as “Wokeness: A Grave Threat to America’s Military.”
“Our military should be about readiness, and its mission must be winning the nation’s wars,” said General Boykin. “There is nothing more important on the battlefield than cohesion – which wokeness undermines. You win wars because of cohesion, not because of technology.”
Waller, a civilian who has worked with the Army for decades, has noticed generations of careerist, rank-climbing officers “brown-nose,” in his words, their way to the top by going along with what used to be called political correctness, becoming politically correct themselves, and since have broken out as “woke.”
Wokeness, Waller says, is not so much an ideology as it is an attitude. Wokeness is the political and cultural extremism and intolerance of a small but militant minority that is forced on the normal majority. Wokeness requires mainstream leaders of an established institution to become servile to the extremists, to protect them, and ultimately to serve as their enforcers.
“Woke,” Waller says on the Bill Walton Show, “is a pretty loose term but it really stands for an extremist, intolerant point of view that’s constantly changing. You can’t appease it, you can’t please it, you can’t compromise with it. It’s absolutist and if you disagree with it at all or don’t go along, the woke people will destroy you. They’ll destroy you personally, they’ll destroy you professionally, they will ruin your family life. They will make sure that you can never advance in any places where they have influence.”

Here’s the exact words of General WOKENESS Mark Milley the current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in testimony before a Congressional Committee about why he had studied the works of Marx, Lenin, and Mao Zedong and why, having studied them, he now supports the teaching of Critical Race Theory to our armed forces-
“I want to understand “white rage.” I’m white and I want to understand it. So what is it that caused thousands of people to assault this building and try to overturn the
Constitution of the United States of American? What caused this? I want to find that out. I want to maintain an open mind here and I do want to analyze it. I’ts important that we understand that, because our soldiers, sailors, airmaen, Marines and guardians, they come from the American people. So it is important that the leaderss now and in the future do understant it.”
What a total crock. Anyone reading that statement that both white rage and the supposed (totally false) attempt to overturn the Constitution are Democrat talking points and have nothing to do, in reality to the events of Jan. 6.
He ignores the 1st Amendment Rights of the over 500.000 Americans present in DC on Jan. 6th to peaceably assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances e.g. the stolen 2020 election. The actions of those few at the Capitol building were not about overturning the Constitution but getting the attention of Congress to not accept the Electoral College votes from AZ, GA, PA, MI and WI which were obviously garnered by total election fraud.
The whole thing was setup by Pelosi who deliberately limited the number of Capitol Police on the scene, the same Capitol Police who let people into the building. This was all orchestrated by BLM, antifa and with fedral operatives to falsely accuse POTUS Trump and his supporters of “armed insurrection”, another total lie announced by Beijin Joe Biden before POTUS Trump even finished his speech the huge, peacful crowd not on the Capitol building steps.
Milley and the Joint Chiefs actually had talked about a totally false Presidential coup taking place on Jan. 6th before the event took place. He is far from being “open minded” about what happened and why he supports Marxist Critical Race Theory and the mythical concept of “white rage”.
As long as we have Marxist thinking senior officer leaders like Milley and the other WOKE Flag Officers supporting the Obama 3 Administration, I could not, in clear conscience recommend any young person join today’s military.
Anyone serving with a Constitutional conservative viewpoint is being falsely labeled an “extremist”. This Wokeness BS had totally supplanted any notions of a military prepared to fight and win against our enemies and has severely weakened our military which is an Obama 3 goal.
Milley, et. al. have violated their Oath of Office and should resign/retire immediately.
