Iranian TV host Maryam Ghasemi presented the results of a viewer poll taken on a Channel 1 (Iran) daytime show that aired on October 28, 2023. The poll asked whether it is time for “the cancerous tumor that is the Zionist regime” to disappear from the face of the earth, and the two options given as answers were “yes” and “definitely.” Ghasemi said that the results of the poll show that the time for “the annihilation of the Zionist regime has arrived.” She added that all 6,070 people who voted in the poll are ready to go Gaza in support of the people of Gaza.

Ghasemi: “Let’s move on to today’s poll and to the votes that you, dear viewers, have cast. In the live count, you can see that more than 6,650 of you have voted for it. It is only the beginning and we are here until 1:30. The high vote count of the poll is really great. It shows that the [time for] the annihilation of the Zionist regime has arrived.

“It just occurred to me that based on more than 6,700 who have voted – 6,700 people are ready to go to Gaza in support of the dear people of Gaza. Certainly, the count in the poll will increase.”
