DISSENT TELEVISION: Christmas 2023 Special Broadcast
What is the true meaning of Christmas?
As many are struggling economically, socially, culturally and with their faith we try to bring enlightenment to believers and non-believers alike by answering this critical question.
We answer this question by using the song, “The Twelve Days of Christmas” an English Christmas carol.
From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Today, history is sadly repeating itself, when Christians are being put upon in England and globally.
Someone during that era wrote this carol as a catechism song for young Catholics.
It has two levels of meaning: the surface meaning plus a hidden meaning known only to members of the Church.
We discuss the hidden meaning of the 12 Days of Christmas to enlighten all about what Christmas is truly about — the baby Jesus.
Please share this DISSENT Television show with your family, friends and on your social media sites.
Charles Dickens wrote, “I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.”
Merry Christmas to all!
