Paramount’s Preparing to Leave California

FAFO. California AG Rob Bonta is suing Paramount Sky Dance Corporation to block it’s merger with Warner Bros. So now, Paramount CEO David Ellison is poised to move Paramount out of the state of California all together. Great job AG Bonta and Mayor Bass.

It is always a tragedy when an iconic American company abandons it’s state of origin. Sadly, we will see more iconic American corporations leave California. California is dominated by the Democrat Party. As such, the political leadership is radical, corrupt, and hostile to business. No rational CEO would want to operate in the once Golden State. Most especially in Los Angeles.

Paramount is reportedly eyeing Nashville as California fights its merger

California officials responded Wednesday to reports that Paramount is preparing to ditch the state, though the company declined to comment, and no official announcement has been made.

Officials inside Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass’ office and California Attorney General Rob Bonta’s office were told Paramount planned to announce Tuesday that it was leaving the state, sources told TMZ.

The announcement never came, and the outlet said it was unclear whether the company changed course or merely delayed the decision. Separately, Politico is reporting that Paramount is actively looking for office space in Nashville.
