NAACP Vice Chair Lives in Florida as Organization Issued Travel Advisory for Black Americans to Not Go to Florida
You can’t make this stuff up.
As I wrote when the news of the NAACP’s racist declaration broke, this is what happens to organizations after they’ve achieved their founding goal. Instead of disbanding and moving on, they become increasingly radical and dangerous. The NAACP, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, was founded in 1909. They achieved their civil rights goals in the last century and yet here they are issuing racist edicts against states standing for individual rights.
NAACP Issues Travel Warning for Florida…There’s Just One Problem
As Leah has reported, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) issued a formal travel advisory for the state of Florida for what the group claims are Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) “aggressive attempts to erase Black history” and take down Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs in state colleges.
The NAACP went on to say that the state under DeSantis “has become hostile to Black Americans and in direct conflict with the democratic ideals that our union was founded upon. He should know that democracy will prevail because its defenders are prepared to stand up and fight. We’re not backing down, and we encourage our allies to join us in the battle for the soul of our nation.”
DeSantis Press Secretary Jeremy Redfern noted how the National Board of Directors Vice Chair Karen Boykin-Towns had taken a Florida vacation in 2021, during the time when Democrats were accusing DeSantis of still not doing enough to clamp down on COVID-19.
On top of that, Redfern also pointed out that Leon Russell, the chairman of the board of directors, currently lives in Tampa.

Yes and this isn’t about RACE it is about bad BEHAVIOR. Look at the high crime rates in all the big Democrat controlled cities with large populations of NAACP members.
Also the national Chairman of the NAACP lives in Tampa, FL. NAACP issues travel advisory for Florida even though board chairman lives in state Is he now going to move to a Blue State – if he doesn’t he’s a hypocrite.

Our good friend, Royal, tells it like it is in covering the recent NAACP “Travel Advisory” document addressed to members and any others who might be considering a vacation to the sunshine state. How clever these clowns must think they are by rigging an attack on the Florida governor in this fashion. I say it’s sophomoric.
And, oh, by the way, I’m sure all the Black or African-American majority-owned businesses in Florida are just overjoyed with this stuck-on-stupid declaration by the now Marxist-controlled NAACP. That organization cares far more about their leftist agenda and an attack on the Florida governor than any negative impact that might accrue to an entrepreneurial person of color.
Simply put, the NAACP is a full time advocate for the derisive identity politics nonsense which is a measure of their leadership’s numerous voids of logic and adherence to the Marxism sickness. Their so-called “Travel Advisory” scheme is loaded with falsehoods and misrepresentations meant to tear down Governor DeSantis and the values he promotes that are beneficial for the country and the state of Florida. The document is a candidate for the circular file.

PS: Fact for what it’s worth: Three of the four most populace states now lead the nation in Black or African-American majority-owned businesses. A 2020 estimate had Florida at number one with 15,149 Black or African-American majority-owned businesses. California and New York trail behind at 13,729 and 12,636, respectively.

I have no problem that those who believe in or purposely lie about these ridiculous and false allegations stay in their home states and don’t visit FL. I doubt it will hurt our tourism industry one iota. In fact, based on the lawlessness recently shown at various college week sites it would most likely improve.
Law abiding black people should be sick and tired of constantly being labeled as victims. As for LGBTQMxyz – stay out of our faces – do your sexualization and non-binary crap in the privacy of your homes and not in our schools; on our streets; and in our faces and no problem.
