President Trump personally kicked off the Great American State Fair on the National Mall — a sweeping, patriotic celebration marking America’s 250th anniversary of independence. The event transformed Washington into a celebration of American culture, strength, and history.
Trump also announced he will headline the historic Mount Rushmore fireworks celebration on July 3rd, the first such event at the monument since 2020, set against the granite faces of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt. On July 4th, Trump will host a “Tribute to America” rally at the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument — the most spectacular celebration of American independence in a generation.Supreme Court Delivers Three Consecutive 6-3 Immigration Victories. In an extraordinary week for the rule of law, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in favor of the Trump administration three separate times on immigration.
The Court upheld full authority to terminate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitian migrants, sided with the administration on green card enforcement against criminal aliens, and affirmed additional deportation powers. DHS called it a landmark week for American sovereignty. Meanwhile, an appeals court separately handed Trump a major win, clearing the path for the administration to massively accelerate deportations. The Trump-brokered peace deal with Iran continued to produce real-world results this week. Vice President Vance traveled to Switzerland for two days of intensive follow-up negotiations, emerging with Iran’s commitment to allow UN nuclear inspectors back into the country.
The economic impact was immediate: oil prices fell to near $70 a barrel — the lowest level since before the Iran conflict — as markets responded to the Strait of Hormuz stabilization plan. Broad public polling showed strong support for the key objectives of Trump’s Iran agreement, and Trump’s approval rating surged as voters delivered their verdict on both the deal and the economy.
Border at 13 Straight Months of Zero Releases — Rents Falling Nationwide. The Trump administration hit a historic 13th consecutive month of zero releases at the southern border — not one illegal immigrant was released into the country.
