I Believe that People of Good Faith Have an Obligation to Shine a Light on Anti-Semitism Whenever and Wherever it Appears

“We’ve seen the dangerous consequences of allowing the moral rot of antisemitism to spread through the countryside, I believe that people of good faith—judges or not—have an obligation to shine a light on antisemitism whenever and wherever it appears, to speak out forcefully against it, and to make sure that it Never Again gains a foothold in our society.”

Al Katz — a proud Jewish citizen of American

If you were born in Venezuela to Jewish parents, you understand the intensity and authenticity of these precious words spoken by Federal Judge Roy K. Altman, who is proud of his heritage, his people, and the Jewish State and the United States that he was taught by his family to cherish.

In America, the immigrant cultures treasured this land of courageous warriors of freedom of religion, speech, association, and so much more to love and embrace. This was the immigrant cultures of the past and some of the present, who had to learn American history and morality to attain the highest reward of legal immigration – American citizenship – as did my Dad, Al Katz, the bone-thin Holocaust Survivor who gave me the same upbringing as Judge Altman — to speak out for our rights as Jews, Americans, human beings, and to truly love the land that harbored our family from persecution.

hate Jews, find any other place on this Planet that gives you a better, freer life for your family. Those of us raised by proud immigrants to America know that hundreds of other countries do not match the opportunities open to us as Americans and the horizons for our children.

Those of us raised by proud immigrants to America know that G-d has blessed this country only second to His earthly abode in Israel. We have been granted to date 250 years of precious life; Israel has 4,000 years of Jewish presence as the greatest present from The Almighty.

Jews and Zionists celebrate life, worlds apart from those who literally rejoice in death and darkness. If you prefer death over life and darkness above the light of truth, find your “happiness” somewhere “better.”

Bitterness is the toxin of malcontent souls searching to hate and blame others. Find your “unhappy place” to enjoy your bitterness as we relish gratitude for America’s blessings. Shine your light on antisemitism …. the “unhappy place” where malcontents share their toxic souls on each other.

“Give thanks to The L-rd; for He is good. His mercy endureth forever.” Amen.
