Dr. Kirby has been a repeat guest talking about Islam on a number of Des Moines, Iowa radio programs. He has made presentations on Islam to organizations in Iowa and Nebraska, and has spoken at seminars on Radical Islam and Sharia Law hosted by the Concerned Women for America of Iowa. He has spoken about Islam at the 2013 ACT! For America National Conference in Washington, DC, and the 2013 Biennial Convention of the Iowa Federation of Republican Women.
Dr. Kirby has written three books, and numerous articles, book reviews and brochures about Islam. His second book on Islam, Letting Islam Be Islam: Separating Truth From Myth, received a very positive review in an on-line publication of the Beirut Islamic University in Beirut, Lebanon; the reviewer noted that this book “provides a very deep understanding of the Koran and the Sunnah.” His latest book is titled: Islam According to Muhammad, Not Your Neighbor.
