SEE IT: Trump Admin Reopens Columbus Circle
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Trump administration announced the restoration and reopening of Columbus Circle, the park located outside Union Station, on Thursday.
The restoration of Columbus Circle included cleaning up the monument, fixing the grass and turning the fountain back on. The fountain had previously been off since 2007. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy attended the ribbon cutting for the project spearheaded by Trump’s task force. The task force is focused on making D.C. safe and beautiful again.
