White House Launches Trump TV: The Essentials Station

Benny Johnson: The White House just launched “TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station” — a nonstop stream featuring President Trump’s speeches, major announcements, past highlights and administration updates, refreshed in real time.

The launch comes amid Trump’s escalating fight with CNN, MS NOW and Politico, which have sued his administration after being barred from White House access.

Americans can now watch the White House’s own selected footage and announcements DIRECTLY, 24/7.

The media landscape just changed in a BIG way.

Gray News: The White House has launched a new streaming initiative on YouTube titled Trump TV: The Essentials Station, offering 24/7 video coverage of the President’s past moments and announcements just days after he revoked access to three major news outlets over what he called fake news.

The program was launched on Monday, Sept. 21, with its official description reading:

It was launched the same day that CNN, MS NOW and Politico filed a lawsuit over what they describe as a “blatant violation” of the First Amendment: getting banned from the White House.

President Trump announced the ban on Friday because of his displeasure with their reporting, which he labeled as fake news.

In the same post announcing the ban, Trump warned that other “fake news media outlets” would follow.

With CNN’s coverage pool duties stripped, major networks suspended pool service indefinitely while some print resources declined to publish photographs from the official unveiling of a new presidential helipad.

Trump acknowledged the lawsuit on Truth Social, doubling down on fake news claims and said he would “do whatever is necessary to make sure that the U.S.A. thrives.”
