‘Willing To Give Republicans A Chance’: JD Vance Says Democrats’ Policies ‘Failed The Black Community’

Republican Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio ripped Vice President Kamala Harris and Democrats Wednesday, saying that the Trump campaign was offering “common sense” when reaching out to black communities.

Trump received the support of 17% of black voters in a CBS poll released on Sunday, a sharp increase from the 12% he received in a 2020 CNN exit poll and almost identical to the support he received in a prior CBS poll released Aug. 4. Vance recalled times his grandmother struggled to put food on the table while calling out Harris over high prices during the appearance on “Fox and Friends.”

“My message to black voters in the barber shop or outside of it, Lawrence, is pretty simple, here, the argument they are making is actually very much common sense here. What they’re saying is that Democratic policies have failed the black community for a generation,” Vance said after a clip of “Fox and Friends” co-host Lawrence Jones talking with black men in a barber shop aired. “I mean, you know my story, Lawrence, I grew up with a grandmother who sometimes struggled to find enough to eat. I know that a lot of families, black and white, are in the exact same situation. But grocery prices are up 20%, thanks to the policies of Kamala Harris. And she stands there and says on day one she’s going to make groceries day affordable. Well, day one, Kamala, was 1300 days ago, and you haven’t done anything.”

“And I think it’s so inspiring that you have those men in the barber shop who are standing up and saying ‘whatever media propaganda has been fed to us, we have not had better lives under the policies of Democrat leadership, so we’re willing to give the Republicans a chance,’” Vance continued. “I think we just have to go into communities, make the argument and say, we’re going to fight for you, we’re going to fight for your wages, we’re going to fight for your jobs and we’re going to fight for affordable housing and affordable groceries for you and your children.”

In the Aug. 18 CBS poll, Trump led Harris on who could better address the economy, 56% to 43% , while Trump also held an edge on inflation, with 61% of voters saying he could handle inflation better, compared to 38% for Harris. Prices rose by 20% since Biden and Harris took office in January 2021, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) hitting a recent high of 9% in June 2022.

Former NBA star Kwame Brown criticized black celebrities for pressuring black voters to support Harris in a four-minute video posted to social media. Multiple black voters outside the Democratic National Convention in Chicago also expressed their intention to vote for Trump, with one saying that Harris “doesn’t give a fuck” about black communities.

“Because where was she at in these past four years? And she’s vice president. What has she done for us?” the voter asked.

Eric Trump Says Democrats ‘Feeding’ Trump Black, Hispanic, Youth Votes

Eric Trump said Democrats are “feeding” presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump black votes Sunday on Fox News.

Trump’s campaign announced Friday that it had raised $54.8 million 24 hours after a 12-person jury in deep-blue Manhattan convicted Trump Thursday on all 34 counts in the falsified business records case brought by Democratic District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Eric Trump told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo that the American “people do not buy the sham,” citing a Daily Mail poll showing the Republican candidate up six points since being convicted.

“As I walked out that courthouse that day, I said, ‘May 30th, 2024 might be the day that won it for Donald Trump. I’m telling you, I’ve never seen this country more upset about what’s happening,” Eric Trump told Bartiromo. “It’s the law of unintended consequences. The Democrats always dig so deep that they end up finding themselves. They thing their little trickery will be overlooked, that they’re smarter than everybody else. I think the hard they hit him, the more they do this, the more money he’s gonna raise, the more independents he’s gonna get.”

“As I mentioned, the swing of independent voters after this conviction has been unbelievable because no one believes it,” he continued. “And you know, they’re literally feeding him, you know, certain segments of the population that he might not have had in 2016 and 2020 because for the first time, they realize that the system’s coming down, that he’s the victim. He’s the victim that oftentimes some of their communities were.”

“And you see them swing,” Eric Trump said. “Look at the African American vote, right? That’s swinging over to Donald Trump in spades. Look at the Hispanic vote over the last couple years. You know, look at the youth vote right now, Maria. I mean, we’ve never had more youth support out there and people know exactly what’s going on and they want a strong country again.”

President Joe Biden has lost support from black and Hispanic voters across swing states and Democratic strongholds while Trump has been making headway. Trump held a historic rally in the South Bronx on May 23 as his support among black voters more than doubled since 2020.

‘They Got It Twisted’: Blexit Activist Tears Into Dems For ‘Fumbling’ Black Vote, Praises ‘Magical’ Trump Bronx Rally

A Blexit activist, Madeline Brame, tore into Democrats on Friday for “fumbling” the black vote as she praised presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s “magical” rally in the South Bronx.

Blexit is an advocacy movement named for “Black Exit.” The BLEXIT Foundation, started in 2019 by Candace Owens and Brandon Tatum, focuses on “shifting culture” away from promoting “the victimhood mentality” among black Americans through “grassroots organizing” and “educational initiatives,” according to the organization’s website.

Trump held his first campaign rally in New York since 2016 Thursday evening at Cortona Park, drawing enthusiastic supporters from the otherwise Democratic stronghold. Brame, who attended Trump’s Bronx rally, told Fox News host Will Cain the Democratic Party has “got it twisted” when it comes to the support of black voters.

“I’m very disturbed, number one, by these comments that these paid, okay, um, elected officials off on our tax dollars are making toward a whole entire demographic of American citizens. They work for us, we don’t work for them. They got it twisted,” Brame said.

“Yesterday, out of the Bronx, that was electric,” she continued. “There was something supernatural about that whole entire experience. The energy that was in that park, of people of all races, of all creeds, all religions, all together on one accord. And we were happy. And we were excited. It was magical.”

“You had to be there to understand and feel the energy. None of those rich people in suits would ever step foot in there. Donald Trump did, and we had his ear. He showed us he cared,” Brame said.

Brame’s sentiment toward the Republican candidate was echoed by numerous Bronx rally attendees of Trump’s speech, during which the former president told the audience that “it doesn’t matter” what race or “whatever the hell color you are” because “we are all American” and will “pull together” to improve the country.

‘My Goodness’: CNN Data Guru Breaks Down How Bad Biden Is Doing With Black Voters

CNN data reporter Harry Enten outlined Friday how President Joe Biden is underperforming with black voters in polling regarding the upcoming presidential election.

A New York Times/Siena College poll released Monday showed Biden trailing former President Donald Trump in five out of six swing states, with Trump receiving 18% support from likely black voters in a head-to-head matchup compared to 70% for Biden. Enten broke down how Biden is faring in an average of polls, warning that the numbers are a “troubling sign.”

“I think this is, the real thing, is sort of the drop-off, right?” Enten told “CNN News Central” host Sara Sidner. “Look, you look at 2024, Biden still leads among black voters over Donald Trump, 69% in an average of polls. But look at this number for Donald Trump, 22%, where was Donald Trump at this point four years ago? In the polls, he was just at 9% of the votes. So he’s seen more than a doubling in his support among African Americans.”

WATCH:

“This margin, which was in the 70s just four years ago, look at where it is now, 69 minus 22. That puts it in the 40s. My goodness gracious,” Enten said. “If this held through the general election, obviously we’re still months away, this would be by far the best performance for Republican candidate among black voters in a generation, two generations, probably since 1960 and Richard Nixon against John Kennedy, that’s how long we’re really talking about when we’re looking at this margin here. This could be a truly historic margin. It’s quite a troubling sign for the Biden campaign.”

Trump currently leads Biden by 1.1% in the RealClearPolitics average of general election polls for a head-to-head matchup, with the lead growing to 2.7% when Green Party candidate Jill Stein and independent candidates Cornel West and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are included.

Enten then took a deeper dive into the numbers, noting a breakdown by age after Sidner asked where Biden was struggling among black voters.

“Who are these voters? And let’s break it down by age, because I really think this gives you a good insight into what’s exactly cookin’ here,” Enten said. “Take a look here. If you look among black voters age 50 and over, you’ll see that Joe Biden has a very substantial lead here. Look at this at 82% to 8%, this lead is still in the 70s. This looks a lot like what we saw in the overall polling back in 2020.”

“Well, look at voters under the age of 50. Look here, Donald Trump is pulling 25% of that vote: Joe Biden as it just 62% of this, this lead’s, Sarah, this lead is just south of 40 percentage points,” Enten continued. “This is historic. This is what a lot of folks been talking about that Joe Biden has a specific problem among younger black voters, and that is exactly what’s showing up right here and this is, I think, a lot of the reason why you‘re going to see Biden focusing more on black voters.”

Several black voters told an MSNBC panel that they were considering voting for Trump due to the economy, while “Breakfast Club” host Charlamagne Tha God told The New York Times that black voters saw “tangible things” from Trump, citing stimulus checks and the First Step Act.

Historically Democratic Demographics Ditching Biden for Trump

President Joe Biden is hemorrhaging support from a historically pro-Democrat voting bloc. The latest I&I/TIPP Poll published this week suggests that 59% of black voters favor Biden over his Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump. In 2020, a staggering 87% of black voters supported Biden, representing a drop of nearly 30 percentage points over the past four years.

Matt Carpenter, director of FRC Action, explained to The Washington Stand, “In past elections, a singular poll here or there would show Democratic support among black voters slipping, and the results on election day would confirm there was no significant movement of black support away from the Democrats. This election we have seen consistent polling showing this is happening.” He continued, “I think the reason is simple: a generational divide is forming within the voting black population. Younger black voters are coming of age, entering the voting booth, and are choosing candidates who fit their ideological preferences or who speak to their concerns about the direction of the country.”

Carpenter added, “They’re less likely to show loyalty to the Democratic Party if they don’t believe the Democratic Party is conservative enough for them, or isn’t doing enough to address their concerns about the state of the economy or the border or crime.” He concluded, “I suspect we will see this divide show up in a big way on November 5.”

Ken Blackwell, Family Research Council’s senior fellow for Human Rights and Constitutional Governance, explained to TWS why black voters are abandoning the Democratic presidential candidate in favor of Trump.

“The real break and movement away from the Republican Party happened in 1968, very much akin to what’s happening now: protests across campuses and in the major cities. The black vote has become the most stable demographic in the Democratic quiver since 1968,” he said. “What’s interesting to me now and is accounting for the shift is the bankruptcy of public safety initiatives in major Democratic cities that have become crime-ridden. Cities have become not fields of dreams but battlefields and fields of destruction. And safety is a big deal in the black community.”

Blackwell added, “Couple that with the fact that the lowest levels of black unemployment in history came under the first Trump term — he was growing the economy, there were meaningful jobs being created, he passed a very important Second Chance law for people who had been convicted of lesser crimes. He was walking the walk.”

“I think what you began to see starting in 2020 was a shift of the black male vote. All of the polling information reported that black males between the ages of 25 and 40 were in a high percentage beginning to take a serious look at Trump,” Blackwell clarified. “Right now, because of the safety problems in our cities, because of school choice, you’re starting to see some bleeding of the black female vote away from Biden too.”

He continued, “In places like Chicago, Cleveland, Milwaukee, this open-borders policy is killing Biden. It’s rhetorically catchy to say every state is a border state, but when you start to see Biden giving housing, cell phones, and clothes to illegal immigrants, people notice. And where are they locating them? In many cases, in black middle-class communities. So people are drawing the line. They just aren’t going to take it.”

“You can ‘not like’ Trump, but the reality is that he is consistent,” Blackwell further observed. “He basically campaigned in 2016 on his Second Chance program, and most politicians in general have campaign promises that they forget until the next election season. But there was so much consistency in what he promised and what he did when he was elected. And as a consequence, he in fact had his list of promises made. He became the first president to get 12 million more votes in his reelection campaign than he did in his first election. And that’s because he delivered — including to black communities across the country. So this might be the hardest pool of voters for him, particularly among black women, but the movement toward Trump is starting to be … significant.”

The I&I/TIPP Poll also showed Biden losing support among Hispanic voters. In 2020, Biden won 65% of the Hispanic demographic, against Trump’s 32%. Now, only 47% of Hispanic voters express support for Biden, while 26% back Trump and 13% back Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

This is in line with polling data from the past several months, forming a trend. An Axios/Ipsos poll found that even though Hispanic voters largely identify as Democrats, Biden’s popularity among that demographic has fallen from 53% in 2021 to 41% as of last month. Meanwhile, Trump’s popularity among Hispanic voters has increased from 24% to 32%, diminishing Biden’s advantage over Trump from 29% to a mere 9%. Among Hispanic voters who say they plan to vote in November, Biden’s advantage falls even lower, to only 3%. A study published by the Pew Research Center also found that the share of Hispanic voters who identify as Democrats has fallen by 13 percentage points just since 2016.

Another historically Democratic voting bloc has also been abandoning Biden: American Catholics. A Pew Research Center survey last month found that Trump is leading Biden by 12 points (55% to 43%) among Catholic voters. In 2020, Trump maintained only a one-point advantage over Biden. Earlier this year, another survey showed that battleground state Catholics prefer Trump to Biden 54% to 31%, with 15% undecided.

Significantly, the survey found that Catholic voters consider Biden and the Democratic Party to be “too extreme” on abortion. A prior study found that Catholics have been steadily abandoning Democrats as their abortion advocacy has increased.

Trump Ramps Up Black Male Voter Outreach In Crucial Swing States Amid Biden’s Declining Support: REPORT

Former President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is ramping up its efforts to target black male voters in crucial swing states, The Washington Post reported.

The former president has been making gains with black voters as President Joe Biden has been hemorrhaging support, polls have shown. Trump’s campaign will likely focus on black men who own guns and frequently attend church in order to grow his base, advisers told the Post, who were granted anonymity to characterize private conversations.

Trump has considered several black men as possible vice presidential picks, such as Republican Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson, individuals who have spoken to Trump told the Post. The campaign reportedly may also attempt to convince voters to stay home as opposed to voting for Biden.

Trump appeared at Philadelphia’s “Sneaker Con”in February  to engage with young voters and launch a line of Trump-branded sneakers called the Never Surrender High-Tops. Although he received some hostile reactions, Trump may do more similar events, campaign advisers told the Post.

“Crooked Joe Biden and his campaign are trying to gaslight and distract from the fact that Black Americans are turning their back on their destructive policies,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung told Newsweek in February. “By contrast, President Trump delivered policies for Black Americans like passing criminal justice reform, fully funded HBCUs [historically black colleges and universities], created Opportunity Zones, and lowered Black unemployment.”

MAGA Inc., one of the primary super PACs boosting Trump, unveiled a three-week radio ad initiative focusing on black voters in Georgia, Pennsylvania and Michigan, Axios reported. One ad criticizes Biden for prioritizing “transgender equality,” and asserts that the president does not appreciate black voters.

“This is a first step in a sustained effort to reach every voter, in every corner in America,” MAGA Inc CEO Taylor Budowich told Axios. “[V]oters who traditionally vote Democrat are switching their support to Trump because they want a secure border, growing economy, and safe communities.”

Only 21% of black registered voters believe Biden’s policies “helped [them] personally,” compared to 23% who said the same of Trump’s, a New York Times/Siena College poll found.

Biden secured 87% of the black vote in 2020, compared to Trump’s 12%, according to Edison Research’s exit polls. The president’s lead with this demographic has dropped to 79% as Trump’s has risen to 19% according to a February Quinnipiac poll.

“Nobody thinks we are going to win the Black vote,” a Trump adviser told the Post. “But if you get 10 percent more, the election is over.”

The Democratic Party has bled nearly 20% of its black support over the course of  Biden’s tenure, according to Gallup polling data published in February. Democrats’ 47% lead over Republicans with non-Hispanic Black adults is the lowest the party has had since 1999,

“This is part of Donald Trump’s path to victory; this is why he’s leaning in so hard,” Democratic polling and analysis firm HIT Strategies CEO Terrance Woodbury told the Post. “There’s about 32 percent of the Black electorate that’s just cynical, frustrated, closest to the pain, and that voter doesn’t like Democrats or Republicans. They feel like they’ve been failed by both sides and they’ve been failed by a system. And that’s a part of Donald Trump’s ‘the system is broken’ message that appeals to them.”

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

‘The Republican Party Is Not The Enemy’: Black Voters Tell Lawrence Jones Why They’re Picking Trump

Black voters told Fox News host Lawrence Jones why they are voting for former President Donald Trump in a Saturday “Fox & Friends Weekend” segment.

Jones interviewed several attendees of the Black Conservative Federation’s gala Friday in Columbia, South Carolina who expressed their support for Trump ahead of the state’s GOP primary.

“Black people just need to come and realize the Republican Party is not the enemy,” one woman told Jones. “It’s good on this side of the fence.”

When asked about the main issue driving Black voters to the polls in 2024, the interviewees cited the economy and border crisis under President Joe Biden. One man told Jones “you can’t fool what happens at a grocery store,” referencing the high inflation in the United States. Another woman said “everyone is suffering right now.”

One man noted how the guests attending the gala from Chicago, New York and Texas were “tired of … the migrant issue.” Another prospective voter agreed, stating that Biden’s policies are “putting illegal immigrants ahead of the urban voters.”

“The Black community wants a leader who has the energy to actually go to bat for the issues that they would want to fight for. And we see that in Donald Trump,” one man told the Fox News host. “We don’t necessarily see that from Joe Biden.”

The prospective voter continued to explain that Trump is “visible,” claiming many Black voters believe “he’ll have the energy, he’ll have the charisma to get up and go and fight for the issues.”

President Biden has recently faced concerns about his fitness for office following the conclusion of special counsel Robert Hur’s report. The report concluded criminal charges would likely not be filed against the president because he “would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview, as a sympathetic, well-meaning old elderly man with a poor memory.”

“I think that most Black people are trying to look for something different,” another man told Jones. “A lot of us are waking up, especially Black men.”

RNC BOUNCE! President Trump’s Approval Rises Nine Points Among Black Voters

Amazing. This latest poll has President Trump’s approval rating at 24 percent among Black voters. Trump only needs this number to be at 15 percent to crush Joe Biden and the Left in November. #Blexit.

Donald Trump’s Approval Rises Nine Points Among Black Voters During RNC

By Breitbart, August 30, 2020

President Donald Trump’s approval with black voters rose nine points during the Republican National Convention, according to a Hill-HarrisX poll conducted August 22-25.

The poll asked one question: “Do you approve or disapprove of the job Donald Trump is doing as President of the United States?”

The Hill reported:

Twenty-four percent of registered black voters in the Aug. 22-25 survey, which included the first two days of the convention, said they approve of the job Trump is doing as president, while 76 percent said they disapprove.

That is up 9 points from the previous survey conducted Aug. 8-11, where the President received 15 percent support among this group.

The survey found support among Hispanic voters also grew by 2 percentage points, from 30 percent in the last poll to 32 percent in this most recent survey.

The poll conducted an online survey of 2,861 registered voters. Among Republicans, 82 percent approve of Trump while 18 percent disapprove.

A  Zogby poll of 901 “likely voters” published on Wednesday reported Trump’s approval at 52 percent, with a 47 percent disapproval rating. More narrowly, the president had a 36 percent approval rating with blacks, a 37 percent approval rating with Hispanics, and a 35 percent approval rating with Asians.

Ten percent of black and Hispanic voters changed their support from former Vice President Joe Biden to Trump over a two-month period, according to a CNN poll published on August 16.

REPORT: Biden Struggles To Rally Enthusiastic Support From Young Black Voters

Young black voters said they are not excited about the prospect of voting for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, according to a USA Today report.

Young black voters split from older black voters, with the latter being much more likely to cast their vote for the former vice president, USA Today reported Thursday. An analysis conducted by the Democracy Fund and UCLA Nationscape project found that 91% of black voters ages 65 and up said they were going to vote for Biden, while just 68% of black voters between ages 18 and 29 said the same.

Although polls still show the group favors the former Vice President over President Donald Trump, young black voters say they are hesitant.

Perry Green, a 34-year-old black voter from California who supported Sen. Bernie Sanders in the primary, told USA Today that he’s undecided about voting for Biden. He took issue with Biden’s lack of support for the defunding the police, an idea that’s become popular during ongoing protests.

“You got Black youth across the country, calling for defunding the police and thinking differently about law enforcement, and … a couple days later, in the midst of all the protests … (Biden’s) campaign says ‘Let’s spend more money on community policing,’” Green said.

“I think that if I were to see the campaign attempt to engage with more grassroots leaders, that would make me feel a little more encouraged about voting for Biden,” he told USA Today, adding that if he were in a swing state like Ohio, Michigan, or Pennsylvania, he would vote for the former Vice President.

Nationwide protests began May 25 when George Floyd died after a Minneapolis Police officer kneeled on his neck for several minutes. The protests, which have been ongoing for several weeks, center around race relations and police brutality – issues that will play an important role in the upcoming presidential election.

“I need someone who could carry America with a little bit more dignity and I won’t be so ashamed to be like, ‘Oh, that’s my president. Period,’” said Aerial Langston, a 31-year-old from Houston, Texas. She told USA Today that she plans to vote for Biden because the alternative is voting for Trump, but that she wants Biden to be more careful with his words.

The former Vice President has become well-known for his gaffes, some of which have been offensive. He told black radio show host Charlamagne Tha God in May that “if you don’t know whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t Black!”

Bowdoin College assistant professor of government Chryl Laird said that young black voters likely want to see someone in office who is more progressive. They “are going to have some reservations about Joe Biden,” who is a “very clear image of a status quo politician within the Democratic party,” she said.

“They really don’t see him as the direction that takes the party in a more progressive lean.” However, young Black voters will still likely vote for Biden – they just won’t be happy about it, she said.

Laird also noted that older voters tend to be more practical because they’ve seen change take more time.

GOP Trumped by Conventional Wisdom

Conventional wisdom says don’t waste your time trying to get the Black vote.  Conventional wisdom says don’t hire Black staffers.  Conventional wisdom says don’t be impolitic and non-politically correct. Conventional wisdom says don’t tell the American people what you really believe on a myriad of issues; tell them what you think they want to hear.  Conventional wisdom says Donald Trump will self-destruct.

Whenever and wherever conventional wisdom triumphs, the American people usually lose.  Conventional wisdom says the American people want open borders and amnesty for those in the country illegally.  Conventional wisdom says we need more H-1B visas because America doesn’t have qualified tech workers.

I have said and will continue to tell the Republican establishment that Black are looking for a reason to vote republican; but up to this point no one is even seeking a dialogue with the Black community—until now.

While the Republican establishment continues to wait for Trump’s implosion, he continues to defy conventional wisdom by doing things no other Republican has the guts to do.

Trump has actually hired a high level Black staffer and actually put out a press release to inform the public.  WOW, what a novel idea.  No other Republican presidential campaign had done such.  I can guarantee you that most political insiders can’t name one Black person of any significance who is a staffer for any Republican campaign.

Continuing his defying of conventional wisdom, Trump is the only candidate to actively cultivate relationships with the Black community.  This afternoon Trump is expected to receive the endorsement of 100 Black preachers from across the country.

This is unheard of during a Republican primary.  Why other Republicans continue to ignore the Black vote is a mystery to me.  I can tell you this; far too many Republicans are listening to pollsters like Frank Luntz.

He is paid millions of dollars a year by Republicans to tell them that the Black vote is not worth pursuing.  Conventional wisdom like this will lead to yet another electoral defeat for Republicans come November 2016.

When will the Republican establishment stop wishing for Trump’s demise and begin to seek understanding of his phenomenal rise?

Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski is one of the sharpest political minds on the scene today.  Regardless of what happens to Trump’s candidacy, Lewandowski will be a political force to reckon with for decades to come.

Regrettably, no other Republican campaign has such a forward thinking campaign manager like Lewandowski.

The Republican establishment has absolutely no appreciation for how major it is for Trump to have 100 Black ministers to endorse him.  This is unprecedented during a Republican primary.

Trump will get massive media from this event; but also will create a lot of chatter within Black newspapers.

My readers know I am a huge proponent of Black newspapers.  Republicans have continued to ignore the more than 200 Black newspapers we have in the U.S.  Black newspaper report news that is of unique interest to our community in a way that is relevant; unlike the mainstream newspapers.

Engaging with the Black community also sends a strong signal to White, suburban, middle-class female voters that it is ok to vote for a given candidate because they are not “intolerant.”  These are the voters that will determine who the next U.S. president will be.

None of the Republican campaigns have yet to do any media avails with any Black media.  This is extremely difficult for me to understand; especially when several of the Black newspapers are actually owned by Black Republicans.

Trump’s candidacy has upended everything we thought we knew about presidential campaigns and how to run them.  Trump is saying the Earth is round; while all conventional wisdom mandated that everyone believe that the Earth was flat.

You would be foolish to continue to argue that the Earth is flat when all objective evidence has proven the Earth to be round.

One need only watch the video [below] of the focus group my PAC, Black Americans for a Better Future, hosted two weeks ago.

Too many establishment Republicans still think the political Earth is still flat, despite what the Black electorate is saying.  Who are the Blacks these campaigns consult with? Or do they even have any Blacks advising them?

You have Republican campaigns that don’t even have a picture of a Black person anywhere on their website.  How is it that no one even notices granular details like this?

Oh, I forgot, Republicans are supposed to be colorblind!  Colorblindness is a serious condition that mandates medical attention.

Well, maybe, just maybe if Republicans could get their colorblindness corrected; they could actually see that the Earth is not flat; and that Blacks are open to supporting a Republican candidate, both in the primary and in the general.

But conventional wisdom is the blindness that will prevent them from seeing what is staring them right in the face.
