Trump Secures Enough Delegates To Clinch Republican Nomination

Former President Donald Trump won enough delegates from nominating contests Tuesday evening to secure the 2024 Republican nomination, according to The Associated Press.

Trump won primaries in GeorgiaMississippi and Washington, surpassing the Republican National Committee’s required 1,215 delegate threshold from Tuesday’s contests to become the presumptive nominee, the AP projected at the time of writing. The Hawaii caucus has yet to be called.

President Joe Biden reached his party’s 1,968 target after a win in Georgia. Biden, who also secured a win in Mississippi on Tuesday, already won Hawaii‘s Democratic caucus on March 6 with 66% support, according to the AP.

Across all of the nominating contests on Tuesday, 161 Republican delegates and 254 Democratic delegates are on the line, according to the AP.

The president is likely to face an “uncommitted” protest vote in Washington over his handling of the Israel-Hamas war, as he did in several Super Tuesday states and Michigan. The ballot option received 7.5% support at the time of writing, according to the AP.

Trump won nearly all of the Super Tuesday states on March 5, while former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley was able to narrowly secure the blue state of Vermont. Haley dropped out of the Republican primary the following day after only notching two wins this cycle, including Washington, D.C., but did not endorse Trump.

The former president notched big wins in the first four nominating states — IowaNew HampshireNevada and South Carolina — as well as in the U.S. Virgin IslandsMichiganIdaho, Missouri and North Dakota.

Trump is currently leading Biden by 1.7 points in the RealClearPolitics average for a potential 2024 rematch, and is also ahead in crucial battleground states like MichiganArizonaGeorgiaNevadaNorth Carolina and Wisconsin.

Trump Challenges ‘Cognitively-Impaired’ Biden to Debate

Former President Donald Trump has challenged incumbent Joe Biden to a debate. “It is important, for the Good of our Country, that Joe Biden and I Debate Issues that are so vital to America, and the American People,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “Therefore, I am calling for Debates, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE!” The 45th president added, “The Debates can be run by the Corrupt DNC, or their Subsidiary, the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD). I look forward to receiving a response.”

The Biden campaign did respond. Campaign Communications Director Michael Tyler said in a Wednesday statement, “I know Donald Trump’s thirsty for attention and struggling to expand his appeal beyond the MAGA base — and that’s a conversation we’ll have at the appropriate time in this cycle.” He added, “But if he’s so desperate to see President Biden in prime time, he doesn’t have to wait! He can join the tens of millions of Americans who will tune in to watch the State of the Union tomorrow night.”

Trump had previously announced that he would be sharing his live “play-by-play” of Biden’s State of the Union address. Trump berated the Democratic President for arriving late (“VERY DISRESPECTFUL TO OUR COUNTRY!”) and corrected Biden’s comments on everything from the Russia-Ukraine conflict to January 6 to the ongoing border crisis. “He looks so angry when he’s talking, which is a trait of people who know they are ‘losing it,’” Trump commented. “The anger and shouting is not helpful to bringing our Country back together!” The former president concluded, “That may be the Angriest, Least Compassionate, and Worst State of the Union Speech ever made. It was an Embarrassment to our Country!”

Trump’s debate challenge to Biden follows growing concerns among voters over the president’s age and cognitive capabilities. A recent Harvard CAPS/Harris poll showed that over two thirds of voters (including 40% of Democrats) think that Biden is “too old to be President” and about 60% think that Biden is not “mentally fit” for office. An Emerson College/The Hill survey published last month found that almost 60% of Michigan voters harbor concerns over Biden’s age. That number leapt to over 60% when only voters under the age of 50 were polled. Even the typically-left-wing comedy show “Saturday Night Live” featured a recent sketch mocking Democratic Party leadership for claiming Biden isn’t too old. Media personalities and Democrats alike have been showing concern over Biden’s age for months now.

Just last month, Special Counsel Robert Hur determined that Biden did in fact commit crimes and jeopardize national security in his keeping and handling of classified documents from his time as U.S. senator and vice president, but refused to bring charges due to the president’s cognitive decline. Hur characterized Biden as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” and explained that, due to his advanced age, “It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him.”

Trump and Republicans have repeatedly noted Biden’s advanced age and dementia symptoms as cause for concern. In a recent interview, Trump said that Biden is “in bad shape,” continuing, “I think he’s cognitively impaired, and he’s certainly physically impaired. He can’t walk off a stage. He can’t walk up a flight of stairs, you know, three stairs. And he can never find his way. He can never find the stairs. He can’t put two sentences together…”

Pro-Trump super PAC Make America Great Again, Inc. released an ad ahead of Thursday night’s State of the Union address, featuring footage of Biden silently struggling to remember what he was going to say while hosting a press conference, followed by images of the president tripping and falling on stairs and wandering aimlessly off stage after a speech. The ad asks, “If Biden wins, can he even survive till 2029?” U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) debuted a similar ad, listing Biden’s numerous failures and featuring footage of the 81-year-old Democrat eating ice cream, blinking and stammering during speeches, and tripping and falling on the stairs to Air Force One, emblazoned with the caption, “Three years of decline.”

FASCISM: Democrats Propose Bill To Remove Trump From Ballot In Wake of Unanimous of Trump SCOTUS Ruling

Democrats Eye New Way to Get Trump Off Ballot After Supreme Court Loss

By: Newsweek, Mar 04, 2024:

Hold us accountable by rating this article’s fairness

Representative Jamie Raskin, a Maryland Democrat, on Monday said he’s working with colleagues on legislation that could bar someone who committed insurrection from holding office.

Raskin made the announcement after the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that former President Donald Trump should appear on the primary ballot in states that have challenged his presidential candidacy.

“”I’m working with a number of my colleagues—including [Democratic Representatives] Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Eric Swalwell—to revive legislation…to set up a process by which we could determine that someone who committed insurrection is disqualified by section three of the 14th amendment,” Raskin said during an appearance on CNN.

Jonathan Turley opines, “I Calling it “one on a huge list of priorities,” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D., Md.) announced that he will be reintroducing a prior bill with Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Eric Swalwell to disqualify not just Trump but a large number of Republicans from taking office.

The alternative, it appears, is unthinkable: allowing the public to choose their next president and representatives in Congress. It appears that the last thing Democrats want is for the unanimous decision to actually lead to an outbreak of democracy. Where the Court expressly warned of “chaos” in elections, Raskin and others appear eager to be agents of chaos in Congress.

Raskin recently offered a particularly Orwellian argument for the disqualification of Trump and his colleagues in Congress: “If you think about it, of all of the forms of disqualification that we have, the one that disqualifies people for engaging in insurrection is the most democratic because it’s the one where people choose themselves to be disqualified.”

In other words, preventing voters from voting is “the most democratic” because these people choose to oppose certification . . . as he did in 2016.”

It appears citizens cannot be trusted with this power as Trump tops national polls as the leading choice for the presidency. It is the constitutional version of the Big Gulp law, voters like consumers must be protected against their own unhealthy choices

Nikki Haley Takes One State, But Trump Romps In The Rest As Super Tuesday Results Roll In

Former President Donald Trump racked up wins across the country after voters took to the polls in more than a dozen Super Tuesday states with hundreds of delegates up for grabs.

While former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley pulled out a narrow upset victory in the Vermont primary, Trump won VirginiaNorth CarolinaTennesseeOklahomaMaineAlabamaMassachusettsTexasArkansasColorado, Minnesota and California, The Associated Press projected. Republican contests in Alaska and Utah had not yet been called as of 1 a.m. EST.

“They call it Super Tuesday for a reason. This is a big one,” Trump said in a speech following his victories. “And they tell me — the pundits and otherwise — that there’s never been one like this, there’s never been anything so conclusive. This was an amazing, an amazing night, an amazing day. It’s been an incredible period of time and our country’s history. It’s been sad in so many ways, but I think it’s going to be inspiring because we’re going to do something that, frankly, nobody’s been able to do for a long time.”

Trump’s Super Tuesday victories carried him within striking distance of locking up the Republican nomination, and lessened Haley’s already long odds to overcome the former president.

President Joe Biden also secured wins in the Democratic contests for VirginiaVermontIowaNorth CarolinaTennesseeOklahomaMassachusettsMaineArkansasAlabamaTexasColoradoMinnesotaUtah and California according to the AP. He was defeated in American Samoa by little-known candidate Jason Palmer.

Trump also racked up several wins in the days ahead of Super Tuesday, including the North Dakota caucus, the Michigan primary, the Michigan caucus, the Idaho caucus and the Missouri caucus. The former president has also won the South Carolina primary, the Nevada caucus, the U.S. Virgin Islands caucus, the New Hampshire primary and the Iowa caucus.

Haley lost to the “None of These Candidates” option in the Nevada primary, which did not count for delegates. The former ambassador notched her first win in the Washington, D.C., primary on Sunday.

Georgia, Hawaii, Mississippi and Washington will hold their respective nominating contests on March 12. Several other states follow on March 19, including Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Kansas and Ohio.

Trump’s campaign previously estimated in a memo that the former president would have enough delegates by March 12 at the earliest and March 19 at the latest to surpass the Republican National Committee’s 1,215 threshold.

EAGLE PASS, TEXAS: President Donald J. Trump ‘We’re going to take care’ of the dangerous border!

President Donald J. Trump visited Eagle Pass, Texas,  ground zero and the epicenter for criminal illegal aliens crossing the border.

Eagle Pass, Texas has become a symbol of Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.’s now clear policy to destroy America, its culture and it people by flooding our nation with millions of cartel members, criminals, Chinese Communists, and Islamic terrorists who hate us and our Constitutional republic.

President Trump during his visit to Eagle Pass, Texas confirmed that he spoke with the parents of Laken Riley. Laken Riley was a student at the University of Georgia who was brutally murdered by an illegal alien from Venezuela.

While President Donald J. Trump visited Eagle Pass, Texas, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. visited Brownsville, Texas.

Here’s why Biden avoided Eagle Pass, Texas

President Donald J. Trump at the Eagle Pass, Texas border

Here are a series of posts on X of President Donald J. Trump at Eagle Pass, Texas where he met with Governor Abbott, Franklin Graham, the Texas National Guard, and U.S. border patrol agents:

The Bottom Line

It is now clear that there are only two choices on the 2024 Presidential ballot.

  1. Voting for Biden who wants our borders to remain open and he wants to use American taxpayers dollars to financially support millions of cartel members, criminals, Chinese Communists, and Islamic terrorists who hate us and our Constitutional republic.
  2. Voting for President Donald J. Trump who wants to close the border, build the wall, deport millions of cartel members, criminals, Chinese Communists, and Islamic terrorists who hate us and our Constitutional republic,  in order to make Americans and America great again.

VIDEO: At the Black Conservative Federation honors gala President Trump called Biden, ‘a vicious and nasty racist’

COLUMBIA, South Carolina — President Donald J. Trump spoke at the Black Conservative Federation honors gala Friday, February 23rd, as he ramps up his effort to court black voters away from the Democratic Party.

President Donald J. Trump highlighted Biden’s past ties with segregationists like Mississippi Sen. James Eastland and Georgia Sen. Herman Talmadge, a connection Biden openly admitted to during the 2020 presidential election.

Biden was also close friends with Senator Robert Carlyle Byrd.

Byrd started his political life as an Exalted Cyclops in the Ku Klux Klan. In 1944, Byrd wrote the following in a letter to Senator Theodore Bilbo: “I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side … Rather I should die a thousand times and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”

Byrd filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act for 14 hours.

Several polls show Biden is rapidly losing support among black voters due to his and his administration’s failed economic, anti-religious, open border/pro-illegal alien and socialist/Marxist policies.

Preserving Freedom in the Face of Challenges

“The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, we must think and act anew.” — Abraham Lincoln

America, the land of liberty, has long been a beacon of hope and opportunity for people worldwide. Its founding principles – liberty, freedom, and justice – have shaped its identity. This foundation, laid by the framers, has come to be known as American Exceptionalism.

However, in the face of evolving challenges, it is imperative that we not only understand the concept but actively work to preserve and strengthen it for future generations.

When asked what kind of government the delegates had created, Benjamin Franklin famously replied, “A republic if you can keep it.” These words hold even greater significance as we confront a crucial juncture in our country’s history.

The slogan “Make America Great Again” is not merely a catchphrase; it embodies a call to action, a commitment to uphold the values that have made America exceptional. In recent years, however, these values have come under attack. The Obama/Biden administration failed to deliver its promises, leaving many Americans disillusioned and disheartened. To the leftists, failure is not only acceptable but expected.

Since Donald Trump announced his candidacy, the Democrats have launched one failed hoax after another in an attempt to derail his presidency. Their efforts, driven by fraudulent claims and partisan agendas, have only sought to erode the genuine efforts of a president with good intentions.

But now is not the time for despair. Our highest priority must be the preservation of our nation’s freedom. We have faced challenges before and emerged more robust, and we must do so again.

The threats we face today are manifold: encroaching Islamism, socialism, Marxism. These ideologies seek to undermine the very foundations of our society, threatening our individual liberty and prosperity. But we cannot afford to succumb to fear or complacency.

To combat these threats, it is crucial to articulate clear policy proposals that uphold American values. This includes:

It is strengthening educational programs that promote an understanding of American history, values, and the principles of democracy.

We are advocating for policies that support the free market and individual freedoms, thereby countering the collectivist ideologies that seek to undermine these principles.
Promoting international cooperation and alliances that support the spread of democracy and the rule of law, thereby countering the global reach of authoritarian ideologies.

Freedom, in all its forms, is our greatest legacy. Throughout history, brave men and women have fought and died to protect it. From the battlefields of Europe to the jungles of the Far East, Americans have made countless sacrifices to safeguard our way of life.

In the not-too-distant past, we confronted and defeated the forces of Nazism, Fascism, and Communism. We stood firm against tyranny and oppression, refusing to waver in adversity. And now, we must once again rise to meet the challenges of our time.

The insidious threat of leftism, socialism, Islamism, and Marxism looms large, but we cannot afford to shrink from the fight. We must meet these challenges head-on, with courage and determination.

Now is the time to stand up and be counted. We cannot give up or give in. We must be willing to do whatever it takes to preserve our nation’s freedom and ensure a bright future for generations to come.

This will require unity, resolve, and a steadfast commitment to our core principles. We must be willing to defend our freedoms against all who seek to undermine them, whether foreign or domestic.

But we cannot do it alone. We need the support of every patriotic American who believes in the principles that make this country great. Together, we can overcome any challenge and emerge stronger than ever before.

For those who are concerned about the direction of the country, there are practical actions that can be taken to support the preservation of American values:

Vote in elections, and this is a must.

Participate in local community activities and public discourse to influence policy and public opinion.

Educate yourself and others about the principles of American exceptionalism and the importance of defending these values.

Defending America against all enemies is not just a slogan but a solemn duty that falls on everyone. We must be willing to stand up for what is right, defend our freedoms, and ensure that America remains a shining beacon of liberty for the world to see.

Now is the time to rise to the occasion, embrace the challenges before us, and reaffirm our commitment to the principles that have made America the greatest nation on earth. United, we will prevail.

These profound words from John F. Kennedy still resonate deeply: “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.”

Tulsi Gabbard As Trump’s Running mate

Tulsi Gabbard, a former U.S. representative for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district and a decorated military veteran, has emerged as a fascinating potential candidate for the vice-presidential spot in Donald Trump’s administration. Her background, unorthodox political stances, and broad appeal marked by a unique blend of military experience, legislative understanding, and a distinctive foreign policy stance offer a compelling narrative for her potential role in the Trump administration.

Tulsi Gabbard’s political career has been marked by a strong focus on legislative achievements that resonate with a broad spectrum of constituents. During her tenure in Congress, Tulsi Gabbard demonstrated a multifaceted approach to governance, focusing on several key areas:

Environmental Advocacy: Gabbard cosponsored the Coral Reef Sustainability Through Innovation Act of 2016, aiming to promote coral reef research and conservation through federal grants. She supported green energy policies, including transitioning to near-zero greenhouse gas emissions and 100% clean renewable energy.

Affordable Housing Initiatives: Addressing Hawaii’s high cost of living, Gabbard focused on affordable housing issues, highlighting her commitment to economic development and social welfare.

Health and Food Policy Advocacy: Gabbard was a leading advocate for mandatory labeling of genetically engineered (GE) food, earning recognition from Food Policy Action for her efforts to improve the nation’s food system and fight against the DARK (Deny Americans the Right to Know) Act.

National Parks Conservation Support: Gabbard was honored with the “Friend of the National Parks” award from the National Parks Conservation Association for her support of the National Park System, underscoring her commitment to preserving the natural and cultural resources of the United States.

Gabbard’s legislative achievements reflect her dedication to serving the needs and interests of her constituents, showcasing her commitment to environmental protection, economic development, and social welfare.

Military Experience and Foreign Policy Stance: Gabbard’s distinguished military career and experience in the United States Army Reserve have shaped her unique foreign policy views, setting her apart from mainstream Democratic or Republican positions. Her service in Iraq and Kuwait has given her a deep understanding of military operations and strategy.

In this regard, her interactions with the Trump administration have also been notable. Gabbard has met with President Trump and has been critical of specific policies while supporting others.

The potential impact of Tulsi Gabbard’s inclusion in the Trump administration must be considered. The speculation around Gabbard’s possible candidacy for the vice-presidential spot in the Trump administration is intriguing. Her ability to appeal to women, military personnel, and Democrats presents a unique opportunity for the Trump campaign to broaden its support base.

Gabbard’s calm and logical approach could balance Trump’s aggressive style, potentially mellowing his rhetoric and making his administration more appealing to a broader range of voters. Her background in Congress and military experience could help reshape the administration’s policy and public engagement approach.

However, Tulsi Gabbard’s relationship with the World Economic Forum has raised serious concerns among conservatives. WEF is a globalist organization established by Klaus Schwab.

Gabbard’s willingness to support authoritarian regimes under certain conditions has both been criticized and contributed to her distinct foreign policy stance.

Gabbard’s foreign policy views are characterized by a critical view of “regime change wars” and an advocacy for a more diplomatic approach to international relations and a focus on environmentalism. She has shown a willingness to support authoritarian regimes in certain contexts, such as her meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, which was controversial due to her defense of his authoritarianism and his use of force against civilians. Additionally, she has expressed support for brutal authoritarian repression in places like Egypt in the name of counter-terrorism, placing her outside of the mainstream of American progressives.

Gabbard was scrutinized for a 2017 meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, whom the United States government blames for deadly attacks against Syrian civilians during the country’s civil war.”

“Gabbard endorsed independent senator Sanders’ run against Clinton for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination. Gabbard ended her presidential candidacy in March 2020 and immediately endorsed Joe Biden.

Here is a long list of  Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s (2013-2021) Congressional Report Card.

Conclusion

Is Tulsi Gabbard picture-perfect? No, she is not. Can Republican voters trust her should she become a VP nominee? That’s the question that is still lingering. But, hypothetically, let’s assume Trump chooses her as his running mate; what should we expect?

In a hypothetical situation, Tulsi Gabbard’s potential can be seen by some as a game-changer for the Trump administration. Her selection as Trump’s vice president could bring many benefits, including unifying the Republican base, appealing to a broader range of voters, and balancing influence on Trump’s more combative approach to governance.

“Tulsi Gabbard’s odds of becoming the 2024 Republican vice-presidential candidate surged with a leading bookmaker after Donald Trump said she was on his short list during a Fox News town hall on Tuesday.”

Her legislative achievements, military experience, and distinct foreign policy stance make her a compelling candidate for a vice-presidential role. The benefits of her selection, including her broad appeal and potential to influence the administration’s approach, warrant serious consideration.

In short, her candidacy remains speculative, and further developments will provide more insight into the direction of the Trump administration. Gabbard’s unique blend of experiences and perspectives could significantly influence the Trump administration’s policies and approach to governance, setting a new precedent for the role of vice president in American politics.

Will NY Businesses Flee to Florida as New York State Becomes a ‘Legal Banana Republic’: Experts

The absurd ruling in the political persecution of Donald Trump represents the only big business penalized $365 million and shutdown without a showing of any obvious victims and major losses.

On the contrary the banks testified in defense of Trump.

The corrupt judge went out of his way to punish the former president with a worst-case scenario, making it easier for courts to wipe out companies in the future.

Clearly the Democrat elite decided to take out America’s greatest President and kill the greatest city in the world.

Trump’s penalty could cause NY biz exodus to Florida, as New York State becomes ‘legal banana republic’: Experts

NY AG Letitia James and liberal interests in the state appear to be seeking a political ‘death by exposure’ of Trump, analysts said

By Charles Creitz, Fox News, February 16, 2024:

Trump’s ‘breathtaking’ fine in fraud case is larger than budgets of some countries: Jonathan Turley

Fox News contributors Jonathan Turley and Ari Fleischer join chief legal correspondent Shannon Bream to react to Judge Arthur Engoron fining Donald Trump more than $350 million on ‘The Story.’

Legal experts analyzed what they called “breathtaking” civil penalties against former President Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, former Trump Organization Comptroller Jeffrey McConney and ex-CFO Allen Weisselberg – warning other corporations based in the Empire State may realize they could suddenly be put out of business by the state on a political whim.

New York Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron found Trump liable for more than $350 million in damages in the fraud suit brought against him and his company by New York State Democratic District Attorney Letitia James.

Trump Sr., the Trump Revocable Trust and Trump Organization were found liable for $60 million, while Trump’s sons and Weisselberg were found liable for $4.01 million each – and Trump Sr. plus several entities including the Trump Organization and the LLC signifying Trump’s Chicago hotel were banned from applying for loans with institutions registered with New York for three years.

The three Trump family members were also banned from serving as executives of any business or legal entity based in New York for a similar length – which is key, as the Trump Organization is housed at its iconic tower at 5 Av and E. 57th Street.
Jonathan Turley on Trump civil fraud verdict: No other company would be subject to this ‘draconian exercise’ Video

In that regard, former Bush White House press secretary Ari Fleischer told Fox News the ban may spur Trump to relocate his entire business empire to Florida, just as he has his primary residence.

“If you’re Eric [or] Donald Junior, what are you going to do?” he asked.

“[Y]ou just say goodbye to New York, which fits a pattern that many successful people have been doing and leaving New York because New York is just too political, too blue and too punitive – you’re seeing that in the business community and among upper income New Yorkers already,” he said – adding the state’s crime wave accentuates the issue.

George Washington University Law Prof. Jonathan Turley further commented to Fox News that Engoron appeared to compound the highest fine figures in most of the areas adjudicated – noting that New York’s civil law in this area is unique because the proverbial crime can essentially be victimless.

“[It’s] an odd one because it does not require that anyone actually lose money. And so James was able to come in here with this [fraud] figure, and she kept on going up.”

Turley said the public and other legal officials may indeed take note of Trump world’s penalty, because, “when you’re imposing fines larger than the budget of some countries, you really have to wonder whether you’ve allowed your thoughts to run away with your judgment.”

“It’s one of the greatest ironies of this case: In the name of protecting businesses in New York, you probably just led to hundreds of businesses looking at potential rentals in Florida because they look and they go, ‘wow, if we fall on the wrong side of the politics in New York, they could sell us off for spare parts’.”

Fleischer noted that New York’s justice system has descended into a quasi-political entity, in that liberals and Democrats have been placed at the highest levers of power for the past few decades.

Dissolving Trump’s Business Empire, as State Judge Threatens, Would Be Unprecedented Under New York’s Decades-Old Fraud Law

AP’s review of nearly 150 reported cases since New York’s “repeated fraud” statute was passed in 1956 showed that nearly every previous time a company was taken away, victims and losses were key factors. Customers had lost money or bought defective products or never received services ordered, leaving them cheated and angry.

What’s more, businesses were taken over almost always as a last resort to stop a fraud in progress and protect potential victims. They included a phony psychologist who sold dubious treatments, a fake lawyer who sold false claims he could get students into law school, and businessmen who marketed financial advice but instead swindled people out of their home deeds.

Kevin O’Leary slams Trump’s civil ruling as ‘un-American’ and a shock to the entire real estate industry

In a scathing rebuke of a New York Judge’s decision to fine Donald Trump a staggering $355 million, the entrepreneur and media personality Kevin O’Leary minced no words, denouncing the ruling as “unjust,” “appalling” and ultimately “un-American.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron’s Friday ruling not only slapped Trump with that hefty fine, but also with a temporary ban from conducting business in his native New York.

O’Leary, known for his role on “Shark Tank,” lambasted the decision, arguing that it sets a dangerous precedent for the entire real estate industry.

O’Leary had previously been critical of the months-long fraud case in the media, saying on CNN recently that, “I don’t think this thing will ever survive appeal regardless of what the fine is. This doesn’t even make sense.”

“That fact that he was found guilty, you might as well find guilty every real estate developer on Earth,” O’Leary said in an exclusive interview with The Post.

The judge’s decree bars Trump from assuming any officer or director positions in New York for three years, a move O’Leary sees as detrimental not just to Trump, but also to the broader business landscape.

“I don’t understand where someone got hurt … What developer doesn’t ask for the highest price valued for any building they built?” O’Leary said.

J6 Committee Admits Its Show Trials Were An Election-Year Publicity Stunt

By: Tristan Justice, The Federalist, February 01, 2024

Key members of the Jan. 6 Committee admit in a new PBS documentary that the operation was an election-year publicity stunt.

Key members of the since-disbanded Select Committee on January 6th admit in a new PBS documentary that the entire operation was an election-year publicity stunt.

On Wednesday, Frontline PBS published a new documentary, “Democracy on Trial,” chronicling the House committee’s work. Pivotal players on the partisan probe conceded in the two-and-half-hour documentary that the panel’s public performances produced for prime-time television were orchestrated as entertainment media.

“The one thing that we knew was the information that we have is compelling,” said Illinois congressman-turned CNN commentator Adam Kinzinger. “The thing we needed to do was tell that to the American people in a compelling way.”

The Jan. 6 Committee turned to former ABC News President James Goldston to produce their hearings that occurred just months before the 2022 midterms. The panel also hired another producer whose résumé included stints at Bloomberg, ABC News “Nightline,” and “Good Morning America.”

“I got a call pretty much out of the blue from the January 6th committee,” Goldson told the documentary. “They wanted a storyteller.”

“While they were brilliant lawyers,” Goldston added, “storytelling for a mass audience is not what they do.”

“To bring in a guy like this who would think outside the box really did prove to be fruitful,” Robert Draper of New York Times Magazine tells the PBS documentarians. “It was Goldston who really began to envision this as in a way a kind of miniseries that there would be sort of nine episodes and that these episodes would tackle particular themes.”

Daily Caller’s ‘Rigged’ Reveals Single Most Important Thing GOP Can Do To Stop Dems From Stealing Elections

“Whoever wishes to foresee the future must consult the past.”

Machiavelli wrote these words almost 500 years ago in “The Prince,” perhaps the most shrewd piece of political gamesmanship ever written. It is with this lesson in mind that The Daily Caller now looks toward November.

The Daily Caller’s latest documentary, “Rigged,” doesn’t just shine a spotlight on all of the wild abuses perpetrated by Democrats in the 2020 election. We diagnose the mistakes of 2020 — where and how Republicans failed to counteract the Democrats’ schemes — to ensure the same dirty tricks won’t work in 2024.

“Rigged” is available exclusively for Patriots subscribers. Subscribe here to watch now, and check out our collection of other original documentaries as well.

Catch an exclusive first glimpse below.

The primary lesson from 2020 is that Republicans must be proactive. They can no longer sit idly by and trust the system will deliver on its promise of fairness and accountability. Democrats have spent years ensuring the system does not function as it should, with armies of lawyers and activists working to ensure the process is rigged to their benefit. Republicans must be equally shrewd if they are to swing the election law pendulum back to the middle.

“Rigged” shows how Republicans have closed some of the loopholes Democrats weaponized in 2020 — but there is still so much more work to be done.

“In 2020, I served as legal counsel to the Trump campaign,” explains attorney John Findlay in “Rigged,” “and one of my main responsibilities was running the president’s election day war room. I was in charge of placing lawyers in all of our battleground states … where we would do intake from those lawyers out in the field on those issues that were being reported in real time.”

Findlay details a host of abuses that surely had our Founding Fathers rolling in their graves. Rogue election officials around the country often changed procedures by fiat in the midst of the election. Bipartisan observers were kept out of the process. Rules were waived on deadline requirements, ballot curing procedures and how absentee ballots were to be counted. In the 25 critical states Findlay oversaw, there was “a lot of confusion” on the ground.

But the chaos was all part of the plan. By the time Republicans caught on, it was too late.

“If you go to challenge those ballots or inquire about those ballots, and the results show that it’s different than the race has been called, it looks like you’re overturning an election. It creates a presumption for the person that has been called to be the winner at that time, and you have to overcome that presumption,” Findlay explains.

This is the main reason Republican legal challenges never got off the ground. “Well, folks always say, court actions were filed and nothing happened with them,” explains Hans von Spakovsky, head of the Heritage Foundation’s Election Law Reform Initiative, “but that’s because all the court actions were dismissed by judges on procedural grounds.”

No one bothered “determining the credibility of the witnesses and the claims — they didn’t do that.”

No one wanted to be seen overturning an election.

Since 2020, some states have taken steps to strengthen voter identification and deadline requirements. But Democrats have already shown us what they plan to do this election. More preemptive legal action still needs to be taken to rein in rogue officials and ensure the chaos of 2020 can’t happen again in November. Procedures must be challenged before votes are cast, otherwise, it will be too late.

Watch “Rigged” now to learn about all the steps Republicans have taken — and still need to take — to ensure the 2024 election is safe and secure.

The Daily Caller’s documentary productions are made possible by our faithful Patriots members, and we wouldn’t be able to do it without them. To watch “Rigged” — and to help support future investigative documentaries — please consider subscribing.

Business Partners Of Fani Willis’ Alleged Lover Bankrolled Her Campaign. She Gave Them Lucrative Contracts.

UPDATE:

Business partners of District Attorney Fani Willis’ alleged lover Nathan Wade, whom she appointed to work on the case against former President Donald Trump, made donations to her campaign before receiving lucrative contracts from her office.

Terrence Bradley, Wade’s former partner, and Christopher Campbell, his current partner, have collectively contributed more than $5,000 to Willis’ campaign, contribution disclosure reports show. Moreover, both men have each raked in tens of thousands of dollars from contracts with the district attorney’s office, according to county records.

Campbell is a partner at Wade & Campbell Firm, where he works with Wade. Bradley formerly worked with Wade at Wade, Bradley & Campbell Firm, and also represented Wade in his divorce case until Sept. 2022.

The donations add another wrinkle to Willis’ already-scrutinized relationship with Wade.

Willis was accused in a motion earlier this month by Trump co-defendant Michael Roman of benefiting from the “lucrative” contract she awarded Wade when he took her on vacations using money earned from the position. Wade filed to divorce his wife on Nov. 2, 2021, the day after his contract with the district attorney’s office began, and has earned nearly $700,000 from the Fulton County District Attorney’s office since his appointment.

Moreover, bank statements contained in filings in Wade’s divorce case show he purchased tickets in Willis’ name to Miami and San Francisco, with the Miami purchase occurring on the same day that Wade made payments to a luxury cruise line.

Legal experts previously told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the circumstances surrounding the contracts for Wade’s business partner raise further concern about Willis’ use of public funds.

Bradley made three donations to Willis’ campaign: $1,000 in June 2020, $550 in October 2020 and $2,500 in June 2023, according to campaign disclosure reports.

Meanwhile, the district attorney’s office paid Bradley $74,480 between May 2021 and June 2022, according to county records. It remains unclear what work he was doing during that period.

Campbell, who donated $1,000 to Willis’ campaign in June 2020, contracted with the district attorney’s office in January 2021 to provide services as a “taint attorney” for $150 an hour, according to the contract obtained by the DCNF. Taint attorneys sift through documents obtained from a search warrant and filter out privileged evidence to prevent it from being passed to prosecutors.

Under a separate contract from March 1, 2021 to April 30, 2021, Willis also brought Campbell on to work at $65 an hour as a “First Appearance Attorney” who represents the district attorney’s office at the first hearing held for defendants within 72 hours of arrest.

Campbell has earned a total of $126,070 from the district attorney’s office since 2021, according to county records.

The other two attorneys Willis contracted with to work on the Trump case as special prosecutors also donated to her campaign.

Anna Cross contributed $250 in May 2020. She earned $37,729 from the district attorney’s office between July 2022 and September 2022, according to billing statements.

County data shows her firm, The Cross Firm LLC, earned close to $48,000 since 2022.

John Floyd, a racketeering expert who contracted with the district attorney’s office in March 2021, has donated a total of $6,307 to Willis’ campaign. Most donations were made in 2020 before his contract began, except for one $258 donation he made in December 2023.

His firm has made just over $90,000 from the district attorney’s office since 2022, according to county data.

Other attorneys at Floyd’s firm, Bondurant, Mixson & Elmore, also made donations to Willis. A founding partner, Emmet Bondurant, gave $255 in June 2020. Matthew Sellers, an associate, gave $500 in 2020.

Willis falsely stated during remarks at Big Bethel AME Church that she paid all three special prosecutors on the Trump case the same hourly rate. Billing statements and contracts obtained by the DCNF show Wade was paid more than Floyd.

Willis must file a response to Roman’s motion by Friday. Judge Scott McAfee will consider the allegations during a hearing on Feb. 15.

Fulton County Commissioner Bob Ellis also requested Willis disclose information related to the potential misuse of county funds by Friday. During a recent board meeting, Commissioner Bridget Thorn said Willis’ response to her question about how much the election interference case was costing the county was “Lady Justice has no price.”

The law firm representing Roman sued the district attorney’s office Tuesday for allegedly failing to disclose certain requested records under the Georgia Open Records Act.

The district attorney’s office, Campbell and Bradley did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

President Donald J. Trump Wins New Hampshire. The Only Person to Win a Historic 3rd Time!

Wait, here’s the real headline – 70% of Nikki Haley voters in New Hampshire were not registered Republicans.

Trump Cruises To Victory Against Nikki Haley In New Hampshire

By: Mary Lou Masters, Daily Caller, January 23, 2024:

CONCORD, New Hampshire — Former President Donald Trump won the first-in-the-nation primary Tuesday evening, defeating former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley by roughly nine points, according to The Associated Press.

Trump received 54.1% support from New Hampshire voters compared to Haley’s 45% at the time of writing, the AP projected. The former president has now won the first two nominating contests of the 2024 season, as he secured 51% of the vote in the Iowa caucus just last week.

President Joe Biden, who did not appear on the ballot due to the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC’s) new calendar, won the New Hampshire Democratic primary as a write-in candidate, according to the AP. Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips followed at 20.4% ahead of self-help author Marianne Williamson at 4.6%.

None of the Democrats will receive delegates from New Hampshire, as the state decided to keep its first-in-the-nation status.

Meet The Donors Funding The Shadow Campaign To Stop Trump’s Second Term Before It Even Begins

Groups bankrolled by major left-of-center charitable foundations are reportedly preparing to obstruct a potential second Trump administration.

Organizations including Protect Democracy, the Institution for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection (ICAP) at Georgetown University and Democracy Forward, are part of a loose alliance preparing legal action to block Trump from taking certain executive actions if he takes office, according to NBC News. These organizations are backed by influential liberal institutions, like George Soros’ philanthropic empire, a Daily Caller News Foundation review found.

The organizations fear that Trump may use the armed forces to act undemocratically if elected, according to NBC News. To address this, they seek to limit his potential influence over the executive branch.

“We are preparing for litigation and preparing to use every tool in the toolbox that our democracy provides to provide the American people an ability to fight back,” Skye Perryman, president of Democracy Forward, told NBC News.

The details shared with the press regarding the groups’ plans were vague, only mentioning preparation for litigation, drafting letters to influence possible Trump appointees and conducting research on what a second Trump term may look like. The coalition wants to “challenge Trump from day one,” according to NBC News.

The outlet reports that alliance members are “studying Trump’s past actions and 2024 policy positions so that they will be ready if he wins in November,” adding that some “participants are combing through policy papers being crafted for a future conservative administration” and “watching the interviews that Trump allies are giving to the press for clues.”

Protect Democracy, ICAP and Democracy Forward are all bankrolled by left-wing megadonors.

Philanthropies tied to George Soros, eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and other left-wing megadonors have poured millions into Protect Democracy since 2017.

Protect Democracy refers to the joint efforts between the 501(c)(3) Protect Democracy Project and the 501(c)(4) group United to Protect Democracy, according to the organization’s website.

501(c)(3) organizations can engage in advocacy and education, but are limited in how much they can directly spend on political activities. 501(c)(4)s, meanwhile, have greater license to engage in explicitly political activism.

Soros’ Foundation to Promote Open Society gave $650,000 to the Protect Democracy Project between 2018 and 2021, according to a grant database. Soros’ Open Society Policy Center, meanwhile, gave over $1 million to United to Protect Democracy between 2017 and 2020.

United to Protect Democracy and the Protect Democracy Project also received funding from Omidyar’s philanthropic network.

Omidyar is a primary funder and founder of Democracy Fund, a nonprofit that provides financial backing for various left-of-center causes, according to tax forms. He has also funded past efforts to fight Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter and to oppose Trump.

The Protect Democracy Project has received $3.8 million from Democracy Fund since 2017tax documents show.

Democracy Fund Voice, a 501(c)(4) organization founded and funded entirely by Omidyar, gave United to Protect Democracy roughly $1.3 million between 2017 and 2022.

Similarly, the John Pritzker Family Fund gave the Protect Democracy Project $700,000 between 2019 and 2022.

John Pritzker is the chairman of the John Pritzker Family Fund.  The Pritzker family is one of the nation’s wealthiest and deeply connected to the world of liberal politics.

John’s cousin, J.B. Pritzker, serves as the Democratic governor of Illinois while another one of his cousins, Penny Pritzker, has held high-ranking posts in both the Obama and Biden administrations.

Mark Heising and Elizabeth Simons, who are married, have donated nearly $10 million to Democrats since 2022, campaign finance records show. Their philanthropy, the Heising-Simons Foundation, poured $500,000 into the Protect Democracy Project in 2022, according to tax documents.

Simons serves as the chair of the foundation’s board and Heising as a vice chair.

Democracy Forward, like Protect Democracy, has both a 501(c)(3) and a 501(c)(4) organization under its umbrella. The two organizations share a website and a staff page.

Democracy Forward Foundation, the 501(c)(3), pulled in $200,000 from Omidyar’s Democracy Fund and $10,000 from Hopewell Fund in 2022, tax forms show. Omidyar provides almost all of Democracy Fund’s cash, according to tax forms.

One of Democracy Forward’s largest backers has been the Sandler Foundation.

The Sandler Foundation was established in 1991 by Herb and Marion Sandler, financial industry billionaires who contributed $1.3 billion to the philanthropy. Since then, tax forms show that the Sandler Foundation has given millions to groups like the American Civil Liberties Union and the Campaign Legal Center, which have consistently launched anti-Trump litigation.

The Democracy Forward Foundation received $11 million from the Sandler Foundation between 2018 and 2021, tax documents show.

Democracy Forward’s links to the left go beyond funding.

Marc Elias, one of America’s most prolific Democratic lawyers, and Ron Klain, President Joe Biden’s former chief of staff, both sit on Democracy Forward’s board, according to the organization’s website.

John Podesta, former Clinton administration chief of staff and chair of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, sat on the Democracy Forward Foundation’s board until at least June 2022, according to tax forms.

Some groups involved in the anti-Trump shadow campaign don’t disclose their donors.

The New Venture Fund and the Hopewell Fund, organizations within a dark money network managed by liberal consultancy Arabella Advisors, collectively gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to Protect Democracy between 2020 and 2020, tax filings show.

There’s also a clear partisan tilt to this budding anti-Trump resistance. The chair of ICAP’s board, Mamoon Hamid, has donated nearly $50,000 to Democrats since 2017, according to FEC records. The institution’s vice chair, Stewart Butterfield, has given over $100,000 to Democrats since 2017, FEC records show.

Mary DeRosa, an Obama administration alumna and another ICAP board member, has given nearly $40,000 to Democrats since 2016, according to the FEC.

Leadership at United to Protect Democracy and Democracy Forward have also donated thousands to Democrats, FEC records show.

Ian Bassin, co-founder and executive director of United to Protect Democracy, donated more than $2,400 to Democrats and Democrat-aligned PACs between 2016 and 2023, according to FEC records. Bassin also served as associate White House counsel during the Obama administration.

ICAP’s leadership isn’t all Democrats, however; Mickey Edwards, who serves on the board, was a Republican member of Congress for 16 years, according to his Georgetown bio. Edwards left the Republican Party in 2021, however, saying it had become a “cult” under Trump, Business Insider reported.

“We’re already starting to put together a team to think through the most damaging types of things that [Trump] might do so that we’re ready to bring lawsuits if we have to,” ICAP’s executive director Mary McCord told NBC News.

Democracy Forward, ICAP and Protect Democracy didn’t respond to requests for comment.
