Who Hath the Greater Sin?

Count me among the less than a million voters who already cast an early ballot and among those disgusted with this election cycle.

When comparing the two major candidates – that is, their records, their faults, and their failings – Donald Trump is clearly head and shoulders above Hillary Clinton.

Like us all, Mr. Trump is a sinner, said some things out of turn that were inappropriate, and he could have said and handled some controversies better. What if we were all judged by this extremely unfair double standard? Self-righteous men and fathers, like Mr. Trump, I am sure you said some regrettable things about women that you wish you had not. Mr. Trump is not to be excused; but he apologized, and as with anyone else, we accept his apology and move forward.

Moreover, one has to carefully analyze what he is apologizing for: a hot mic response he made over 11 years ago as a private citizen. Clearly, the NBC (No one But Clinton) network and its affiliates (MSNBC) had to know of this tape and its existence for some time now.

Why was it released last week? Why was it not released over the past year during the Republican primary?

A reasonable person may conclude that NBC, as well as The New York Times, does opposition research for Hillary Clinton, not Republican presidential primary candidates.

Yes, his comments to Billy Bush were and are unacceptable; but it was just talk and there exists no credible incidents that he actually did these things.

What about recent accusers?

Interesting, they come forward now- not when the supposed incidents happened (coincidentally under NBC’s watch as they produced and broadcasted the Apprentice for 12 years and the Miss America and Miss Universe pageants), not during the Republican presidential primaries, not two months ago, but now.

The timing is obvious as it is dubious and odious.

If Mr. Trump really assaulted these women, such incidents would be difficult to cover up per the media cycle. If these women are telling the truth, did NBC and its affiliates cover it up at the time they occurred to avoid liability and thus enable and empower Mr. Trump to abuse women?

Why did these women not come forward at the time of the supposed incidents and sue Mr. Trump, NBC, and any and all related affiliates?

All that is substantiated concerning Mr. Trump is words and unfounded accusations meant to tilt the election Hillary’s way- akin to Debbie Wasserman Schultz tilting the Democratic nomination to Hillary per DNC leaked emails.

However, Bill Clinton, per the Starr Report and his subsequent impeachment, actually abused his position and office by debasing and defiling a White House intern, Monica Lewinsky, with slices of pizza and cigars in the White House.

He lied to the American people and a grand jury about it and only came clean when  Monica’s blue dress stained with his DNA came to light; thus giving credence to previous accusers who accused him of sexual assault and rape- the very accusers and true victims that Hillary vilified and demonized as part of “a vast right-wing conspiracy.”

Getting out of the gutter, and looking at actual policy, it is true that Mr. Trump has no political experience as he is not a professional politician whereas Mrs. Clinton has roughly 13 years of political experience as a U.S. senator and Secretary of State besides her years as First Lady of Arkansas and the United States.

As First lady of the United States, she was tasked with health care reform, which ended very badly, and had Travelgate, Filegate, and Furnituregate to her name.

As U.S. Senator from New York, she only had three laws passed that she authored: establishing a National Historic Site in New York, renaming a post office, and renaming a New York highway after Tim Russert.

As Secretary of State, she has the current failed state of Libya to her name, Benghazi, and the catastrophe in Syria in addition to her email scandal per her illegal server and mishandling classified information.

Mr. Trump has a successful record as a businessman; Mrs. Clinton called TPP “the gold standard,” and supported NAFTA and other detrimental trade deals in addition to being a good friend and darling of the banking industry. Her running mate, Tim Kaine, is closely tied to Virginia-based Capital One; furthermore, he oversaw Project Exile which irreparably harmed the African-American community while he was mayor of Richmond, VA (1998-2001).

Furthermore, per a leaked email, while addressing a group of Brazilian bankers, Clinton stressed she was with them on Open Borders, but that this was a private position given the American electorate’s disdain for bad trade deals thus necessitating public and private positions.

When she was pressed on this, she made an analogy to President Lincoln’s handling of the Thirteenth Amendment; Mrs. Clinton was not discussing civics or the American electoral process with these foreign bankers, but trade.

Given this episode, it is not surprising that the Clinton campaign ignored Bernie Sanders’ calls to release the transcripts of her private speeches to banking executives for they would be just as damning as these. It is a shame that Sen. Sanders does not publicly renew his request for the Clinton campaign to release these transcripts per this revelation.

If Mr. Trump is a failed, unethical businessman as the Clinton campaign and their media allies suggest, why were these alleged improprieties revealed over the past ten months as opposed to years ago when they allegedly took place?

Mr. Trump has been criticized for taking advantage of the tax code over 20 years ago for writing off over $900 million in business losses. Doing so may not be good optics, but it was legal and done to protect shareholders. Additionally, he and his business holdings paid other federal (FICA, MICA) taxes as well as local and state income, property, and sales taxes.

Fair minded people may assume that the media is strategically releasing these allegations to deflect from Clinton’s unethical, and some may say criminal, behavior per her email scandal, leaked emails, and the questionable dealings of the Clinton Foundation during her tenure as Secretary of State.

Can it be that NBC and its cable affiliates are assisting in the election of Hillary Clinton given their owners’ (Comcast and General Electric) significant financial services and Wall Street ties?

A sizable portion of the electorate such as myself recognize these and other biased tactics and abhor them. The WikiLeaks emails already confirm what we have known all along. Most people find it shocking that Gen. David Petraeus paid a higher price for his lesser role in mishandling classified information than Mrs. Clinton, and how Mrs. Clinton seems to be immune from responsibility for her various acts.

Though he does not support Donald Trump, Robert Satiacum, Jr., who supported Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary and is on the Democratic slate of presidential electors in the state of Washington, said he may not vote for Hillary Clinton if she wins Washington in the November election.

His rationale: “How can I say and do and be who I am and then cast a vote for somebody that’s the same as Trump?” He described her as “a clown,” “a rat,” and “a criminal.”

Mr. Satiacum’s sentiments are shared by many as he is not alone, especially among dissatisfied Democrats who supported Bernie Sanders and independents.

As Dr. Swier says, “We report, you decide.” Do not listen to the media, check out the candidates and their records on your own accord from reliable and valid sources, and employ common sense reasoning to judge them not by what is said about them but by their actions and what they actually did and failed to do.

Churches asked to Show Video Comparing Party Platforms

WASHINGTON, D.C. /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Before Election Day, Family Research Council Action (FRC Action), announced that it plans to finish distributing nearly 4 million voter guides targeting supporters, churches, activist groups, and state/local organizations.

The voter guide outlines how the candidates stand on pivotal issues like Supreme Court nominations, religious liberty, Obamacare, marriage, abortion, taxes, education, the military, and free speech. A short video comparing the two party platforms is being distributed to thousands of churches to show during services prior to Election Day.

“These issues weigh on the minds and hearts of voters,” said Family Research Council Action President Tony Perkins. “It is crucial that voters get the facts before they vote.”

“With the next president selecting up to four Supreme Court justices, this is not a time to seek sanctuary on the sidelines. If we, as Christians, do not take our responsibility to be salt and light and exercise our right to cast an informed vote, we could see a further erosion of our fundamental freedoms,” added Perkins.

“The greatest distinguisher in this election cycle is where the candidates stand on their party’s platform. The GOP has the most conservative platform in recent history while the Democrats have the most liberal. While party platforms are often viewed as political platitudes that have little bearing on how the parties will govern, the reality is the platforms really matter. One study found that Democratic politicians voted about three quarters of the time with their platform while GOP politicians voted nearly 90 percent with theirs,” noted Perkins.

“The platforms are like a rudder on a boat, they guide and provide principles for elected leaders. While the media largely ignores the party platforms after the political conventions, they should play a major role in every voters’ decision-making for 2016,” concluded Perkins.

It’s official the radical Islamic Muslim Brotherhood is all in for Hillary

According to Discover the Networks:

CAIR [Council on American Islamic Relations] promotes a radical Islamic vision, as evidenced by the fact that its co-founder Omar Ahmad told a Fremont, California audience in July 1998: “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran … should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.” In a similar spirit, co-founder Ibrahim Hooper told a reporter in 1993: “I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.” In 2003 Hooper stated that if Muslims ever become a majority in the United States, they will likely seek to replace the U.S. Constitution with Islamic law, which they deem superior to man-made law. In the late 1980s, Ihsan Bagby, who would later become a CAIR Board member, stated that Muslims “can never be full citizens of this country,” referring to the United States, “because there is no way we can be fully committed to the institutions and ideologies of this country.”

In 2003 CAIR invested, according to its own Form 990 filed with the Internal Revenue Service, $325,000 from its California offices with the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT). According to Newsweek, authorities say that over the years “NAIT money has helped the Saudi Arabian sect of Wahhabism — or Salafism, as the broader, pan-Islamic movement is called — to seize control of hundreds of mosques in U.S. Muslim communities.” A recent study by the Center for Religious Freedom found that a very large number of American mosques teach hatred of Jews and Christians, coupled with doctrines of Islamic supremacism.

Learn more about CAIR.

CAIR released the results of a nationwide survey of Muslim voters on the upcoming presidential election indicating a likely high turnout of Muslims at the polls on November 8 – more than 70 percent of whom say they will vote for Hillary Clinton – and concern about issues such as civil rights, education, the economy, bullying, a proposed ban on Muslims entering the U.S., and national security.

Here are highlights from CAIR’s survey:

  • 86 percent of registered Muslim voters intend to vote in this year’s presidential election.
  • 12 percent of Muslim voters are still undecided about who to vote for in this presidential election.
  • 72 percent of Muslim voters said they will vote to elect Hillary Clinton, while 4 percent said they will vote for Donald Trump, 3 percent will vote for Jill Stein, and 2 percent will vote for Gary Johnson.
  • The percentage of those Muslim voters who said they are closer to the Democratic Party remained constant, from 66 percent in a similar poll taken in 2012, to 67 percent today, after having increased from 49 percent in a similar poll taken in 2008.
  • Affiliation with the Republican Party remained relatively steady at 6 percent today, 9 percent in 2012 and 8 percent in 2008.
  • 62 percent of respondents said that the Republican Party was unfriendly toward Muslims (compared to 51 percent in 2012), while 2 percent said that the Democratic Party was unfriendly (compared to 6 percent in 2012).
  • The top six most important issues to American Muslim voters are civil rights, education, jobs and the economy, protecting students from bullying and harassment, a proposed ban on Muslims traveling to the U.S., and terrorism and national security.
  • 91 percent of respondents believe that Donald Trump’s proposed temporary ban on Muslim travelers entering the U.S. is the wrong decision and only 3 percent, within the margin of error, believe that it is the right decision.
  • 85 percent of respondents believe that Islamophobia and anti-Muslim sentiment in the U.S. has increased in the past year. Moreover, 30 percent of respondents say they have experienced discrimination or profiling in the past year.
  • 82 percent of Muslim voters support Syrian refugees resettling in the U.S.
  • Almost half of Muslim voters, 47 percent, said that the U.S. did not provide enough support in the past year to combat and defeat the terror group ISIS in Iraq and Syria
  • More than half, 62 percent, of those polled attend a mosque at least once a month.
  • 66 percent of respondents say they have a four-year or graduate degree.

Common Sense is the Fertile Seedbed of Trump’s Appeal

hegemony-of-common-sense-book-coverSAN FRANCISCO, California /PRNewswire/ — It may seem that, by now, Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy has been analyzed, and criticized, from every possible angle.  But many of his fans think the criticisms are unfair and that analysis is needless. They think Trump’s tough talk is simply common sense.  That standpoint—the notion of “common sense”— is what Dean Wolfe Manders critiques in this lively discussion of popular sayings, proverbs, mottos, and catch-phrases—the distilled “common sense” of American working people, and the fertile seedbed of Trump’s rise to national influence.

The Hegemony of Common Sense is a path-breaking synthesis, a unique contribution to the study of class and consciousness. In the flagship publication of Looking Up Press, Dean Manders brings critical theory to bear on the links between American popular sayings, ideology, and the daily dynamics of class domination. Displaying a rich intellectual palette, and a sharp critical agenda, The Hegemony of Common Sense explores the interior of common sense, the taken-for-granted and often contradictory ideas that saturate daily life, where they hide, in effect, in plain sight. This is the lived terrain of American democracy—the cultural grounds of Donald Trump’s otherwise nearly opaque ascent.

The celebrated cultural historian and critic Howard Zinn says this about The Hegemony of Common Sense: the “book is enormously impressive, truly original as a work of political theory. I know of no other work that explores class and its relationship to popular consciousness in the thoughtful and incisive way you have done. You have clearly read widely among social theorists and drawn from them what is useful for your thesis. I welcome your book especially because there is such a mistaken idea, especially among European intellectuals, but also in this nation, about the apparent lack of class consciousness, the failure to see such consciousness manifested in many different ways. This failure has important consequences for political action, for any strategy for social change.”

ABOUT DEAN WOLFE MANDERS

Dean Wolfe Manders received his BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MA and Ph.D. from Brandeis University. He has previously published works in both the United States and Europe. He has taught extensively in the Boston and San Francisco Bay areas and at the International Peoples College in Helsingør, Denmark.

Wanted: ‘Infuriated young men’ to join ISIS

While the mainstream media will likely report this as a sign that ISIS is not truly Islamic, one can only wonder what is actually being discussed in Europe’s prisons, given the shocking numbers of how many Muslims are imprisoned in Europe.

Keep in mind:

Belgium – 35% of inmates are Muslim
UK – 44% of high-security inmates are Muslim
France – 70% of inmates are Muslim
Spain – 70% of inmates are Muslim
Germany – 30% of inmates “foreign”

“Studie: IS wirft ein Auge auf Europas Gefängnisse”, Krone.at , October 11, 2016:

Study: ISIS is using Europe’s prisons to recruit future jihadists

In Europe’s prisons, radical Islam is becoming more and more of a threat. The prisons have evolved into recruiting centers for jihadists, according to a study by the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (UK). The study looked into the developments of 79 jihadists from Belgium, the UK, Denmark, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. 57 percent of those investigated were imprisoned before radicalization. A minimum of 27 percent became radicalized in prison.

The Islamic State’s recruitment is not as focused on colleges or mosques as it is on criminals and those who are from lower economic backgrounds. In prisons it is easy to find “infuriated young men” who are “ripe” for radicalization. Jihadists can fall back on their reliable skills in weapons training and criminal fundraising.

Since 2011, approximately 5000 people from Western Europe traveled to the Middle East to join jihadist groups.

Told you so: Reality ‘Trumps’ the pundits in debate

The pundits had given up Donald Trump for lost.

Republicans were bailing on him. Women were turned off. Why, even his vice presidential pick, Mike Pence, was so disgusted he was on the verge of ditching the campaign (not).

While it’s certainly true that weasel Republicans were jumping ship, the rest of it showed the true colors of the punditocracy: they were taking a victory lap for their candidate, trying ever so desperately to convince themselves that their dreams of a Hillary presidency had become reality.

While by no means the worst, CBS “Face the Nation” anchor John Dickerson thought the elite media had found their ultimate “gotcha” moment. In his grilling of Trump surrogate Rudy Giuliani on Sunday morning, Dickerson tried eight ways of turning that dead fish in the fire.

He did the same in the spin room after the debate — but with increasing desperation. Donald Trump had nailed it. And Dickerson and his fellow pro-Hillary pundits couldn’t believe what they had just witnessed.

Pollster Frank Luntz — who had been touting the “Dump Trump” Republicans just twenty-four hours before the debate — had the presence of mind at least to face reality.

He convened a focus group of thirty undecided voters to watch Sunday’s debate and by half-time, more than half of them felt that Trump was winning.

When it was all over, Luntz announced that twenty-one of the thirty found Trump convincing, while only nine said they were swayed by Hillary. Luntz tweeted out why:

frank-luntz-twitterFrank Luntz

@FrankLuntz

The group cares more about Hillary’s emails than Trump’s “locker room talk.” #debate

Trump’s tape is bad for him, but Hillary’s emails are even worse for her. #debate

How many pundits, including Karl Rove, had explained beforehand that Trump needed to confront the allegations swirling around the “hot mic” tape then pivot to Hillary’s vulnerabilities. But alas, no, they sighed. Trump was an old dog who couldn’t learn new tricks.

Donald Trump’s command performance on Sunday night showed that Trump can remain extraordinarily focused under intense hostile fire, a quality Americans want to see in their president. He also showed he could assimilate vast amounts of information, and dole it out calmly and judiciously, while staying focused on issues Americans cared about, such as jobs, the economy, and keeping America safe from ISIS terrorists.

Moderators Anderson Cooper and Martha Raddatz did their best to help Hillary out of her jam, interrupting Trump dozens of times, trying to box him into a corner.

When Trump responded to a question about his earlier calls for a ban on Muslim immigration by saying it had “morphed into extreme vetting,” Raddatz cut him off.

“And why did it morph into that? No, did you — no, answer the question. Do you still believe…”

That quote reads as disjointed because Raddatz was trying to talk over Trump as he answered her question. Which in the end he did, calmly and rationally.

This was the performance Trump supporters have been waiting for since the primaries. How many times have I heard at Trump rallies or even in casual encounters with voters who were not die-hard Republicans, “I can hardly wait to watch Donald Trump demolish Hillary in a one-on-one debate.”

That’s exactly what Americans witnessed on Sunday night.

When Hillary lied about her secret Wall Street speeches, trying to explain away her belief that presidents should have a “public” and a “private” policy as admiration for Abraham Lincoln, Trump called her out. “Honest Abe never lied,” he said. “That’s the big difference between Abraham Lincoln and you.”

He pivoted again when the moderators tried to go after him for a 3 AM tweet about a former Miss Universe, to Hillary’s 3 AM moment – when she failed to answer the call from U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, under attack in Benghazi.

Like most of the networks, the CNN pundits’ panel spanned the full political spectrum of Trump-haters. In published commentaries just after the debate, they universally claimed against all evidence that Trump had “lost” the debate and predicted a dismal defeat in November.

In their last presidential poll in 2012, the Gallup organization predicted a Romney victory by one percent. Instead, Obama won by three. Gallup said they would correct their methodology. Instead, they got out of the presidential polling business.

How many of these esteemed “pundits” will get out of punditry after their lies are exposed by the ultimate reality test on November 8?

Here’s my prediction: none of them.

Why Trump Will Prevail

The Trump campaign should be throwing thank-you bouquets at Hillary’s minions for unearthing an 11-year-old video of the businessman speaking raunchily about women to Hollywood Access host Billy Bush. Why?

  1. It demonstrates the sheer panic the Hillary campaign is in at the devolving internal-poll numbers that show the ailing candidate barely keeping her [involuntarily] bobbling chin above the water line of decisive failure.
  1. It highlights the startling absence of the MIA candidate, who has not been seen since a campaign appearance in Ohio on October 3, leaving surrogates to speak in her stead. This strange absence, just weeks away from the vote for president, tends to confirm the suspicion that Hillary’s frequent symptoms of illness––spasmodic coughing fits, seizure-like head jerking, inability to ascend stairs without men gripping her arms, a left eye that turns involuntarily inward, episodes of freezing in mid-sentence––utterly disqualify her from the office she seeks, which demands top-notch physical strength and mental acuity.
  1. Speaking of acuity, we already know that Hillary’s judgement is gravely impaired. Who else uses private servers that are sieves for our national security secrets; lies repeatedly and compulsively to camouflage her disastrous foray into Benghazi; was a central player in facilitating a deal, through the Clinton Foundation slush fund, that gave Vladmir Putin overwhelming control over the global uranium supply chain; and who chooses Sen. Tim Kaine as a running mate?

Kaine is a man who writer Scott McKay describes in “The Kaine Scrutiny”  as:

  • …having “a history of anti-American radical leftism…for nearly 40 years,”
  • …being a friend and ardent follower of “a violent Communist lunatic…”
  • …having a “complete lack of business or private-sector experience…[having] never signed the front of a check”
  • …being a typical phony liberal who on the one hand apologizes for slavery and then institutes a Project Exile program which led to the “mass incarceration of a disproportionately black cohort of perpetrators”
  • …having “a history of selling himself out to the Muslim Brotherhood,” which has poured huge money into his coffers
  • …bringing “the stench of corruption with him, something that seems inescapable with any Clinton minion”

THE DRIVERS

The two main drivers of human behavior are money and ego. As far as emotions, jealousy tops both anger and passion. This week’s brouhaha is all about all three––money, ego and jealousy.

In little over a year, Mr. Trump effectively decimated the startlingly ineffectual and traitorous Republican Party, picking off 17 highly credentialed and longtime operatives––including governors, senators, and congressmen. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush had raised so much money––into the mega-millions––before he even announced for president, that his entrance into the race was considered a de facto win. Trump swatted away this buzzing gnat, as he did Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, et al…swat, swat, swat!

To his credit, Trump took his undisputed swatting championship one step further in leveling the self-important media types who (1) credit themselves with electing Barack Obama by concealing his past and overlooking numerous racist and inflammatory remarks (including as he read from a book: “gotta have them ribs and pussy too”), as reported today by The Drudge Report, and (2) creating and maintaining the leftist narrative that their globalist bosses demand.

In my last article, I cited the research of Ashley Lutz at Business Insider, who reported that only six organizations are now responsible for 90 percent of all of the “news we read, watch and listen to.” That’s right—in 1983, there were 50 media companies, today only six, all run by business titans involved in many of the massive, multibillion-dollar deals that drive international politics, that determine the bad-for-America trade deals our “leaders” have signed, and that members of the Democrat-Republican cabal have financial interests in.

The net result, of course, is that dozens of politicians and media shills have been walking around for over a year with bruised and battered egos and fulminating anger, as well as anxiety about their investments, all waiting for their moment to pounce.

And here it is––Trump was caught being crude over 10 years ago! You can just hear the Europeans screeching with laughter as they stand on their elegant balconies flanked by their wives and girlfriends. And the Middle Eastern potentates rolling on their palace floors as they give the nod to excising the clitorises of young girls and stoning “sinning” women to death. And of course, the thousands of professional American athletes slapping their knees and wondering if they themselves would get the death penalties for things they’ve said and done.

FLUSHING AND FORGETTING

Actually, the entire fiasco has been a good thing for Mr. Trump, who now knows definitively who his enemies are on the Right. Like cockroaches being flushed out by a skilled exterminator, turncoats––like former NY Gov. George Pataki, Utah Sen. Mike Lee, New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte, the appropriately named Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, phony conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, and among the most loyal allies of Barack Obama and Nevada Sen. Harry Reid, none other than Speaker of the House Rep. Paul Ryan––are making one last desperate scramble, urging Trump to drop out of the race and hoping that his locker-room talk over a decade ago will finally destroy the man who single-handedly exposed and upset their cozy ole-boy-network.

So predatory are they now acting that it’s not at all far-fetched to suspect that it is these very marginalized has-been Republicans who probably orchestrated this sabotage against Mr. Trump to begin with.

But while his flushing of the pundit and TV dissemblers has helped their approval numbers plummet deservedly into single digits, the craven media continue to cover for Hillary (ala their bosses’ orders) and convince the stupid public to forget how complicit she is and was in her husband’s depravity.

Pure fact compels me to rename the former secretary of state The Human Spittoon (THS).

  • …the serial cheating going back to their Arkansas days, a clear spit in Hillary’s face
  • …a 12-year affair with Jennifer Flowers, a spit in the eye
  • …Paula Jones and the almost $90,000 payout, a spit in the other eye
  • …Kathleen Willey, a spit to the chin
  • …Juanita Broaddrick and the rape allegation, a hawker to the face!
  • …Monica Lewinsky…the cigar, under the oval office desk…a hawker to the forehead!
  • …the stained blue dress with guess whose DNA on it? Beyond spit, beyond a hawker….

What kind of woman tolerates these indignities? Clearly one who thinks a push-button gizmo from Staples will mollify a Russian dictator and an illegal computer server will conceal her crimes. In other words, a weak and corrupt woman, not a leader by any definition of that word.

Donald Trump has called Hillary an enabler. While true, this seems mild and understated. In fact, Hillary represents a full third term for Barack Obama, complete with:

  • sky-high taxes
  • horrific trade deals
  • the squashing of energy independence
  • a massive influx of potential jihadists over our open borders
  • the continuation of a weakened military
  • an acceleration of the genocidal Iran nuclear deal
  • perpetuation of the Clinton Foundation slush fund
  • continued poverty, lack of education, and high crime rates for inner city residents
  • continued epidemic unemployment
  • full socialized medicine
  • vicious antagonism toward our most loyal ally, Israel

Yet, the clueless media, the desperate Democrats, and the jealous Republicans––all still nursing their bruised and battered egos––would have you believe that We the People should be inconsolably upset by some stupid remarks Donald Trump made over a decade ago, and in response should flock to the polls to vote for a woman whose fans cannot name a single of her accomplishments in over 40 years in public life.

We’re not that stupid. And Donald Trump, again to his credit, is not a man to allow this coordinated intimidation effort either to bend or break him.

Let is be known that we #AlwaysTrumpers stand together proud and strong. We know a dragon-slayer when we see one. And we know a winner!

A REMINDER to everyone going to the polls on November 8th: Wear RED.

trump-dragon-slayer

WHY OPERATION RED 2016? Don’t forget, Democrats are now rushing to register dead people, illegal aliens, felons, etc. By wearing red to the polls,

  • THE SEA OF RED will assure that no media outlet can overcome the VISIBLE support for TRUMP/PENCE
  • WE WILL HAVE VISUAL PROOF, via your photos and videos, in district after district, that Hillary Clinton could NOT have won these ALL RED districts!
  • Media, poll workers, watchers, campaigns, and voters on the ground will have no choice but to acknowledge the VISIBLE truth in a sea of RED

WIKILEAKS: Podesta gets email that labels Blacks and Muslims ‘professional never-do-wells’

hillary-and-podesta-seiu

John Podesta and Hillary Clinton

Of course, when I saw this the first thing that came to my mind was: If Hillary’s campaign believes this, then why on earth is she promoting more Muslim and African refugee resettlement for hundreds of American towns?

From WBSM AM 1420:

The mainstream media, the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton have all accused the Republican candidate for president, Donald J. Trump of making racist statements. While I disagree, I do see where, if you wanted to be intellectually cute, one could at least raise the concern.

That being said, where is the same media in responding to a WikiLeaks email taken from Hillary Clinton’s national campaign chairman John Podesta?

Here is what I am referring to:

“What makes for successful immigration? It’s no brain surgery, but the media have long failed to provide a clear credible answer. They are unable to come up with an answer or don’t like the answer that’s staring them in the face. The main reason behind successful immigration should be painfully obvious to even the most dimwitted of observers: Some groups of people are almost always highly successful given only half a chance (Jews*, Hindus/Sikhs and Chinese people, for example), while others (Muslims, blacks** and Roma***, for instance) fare badly almost irrespective of circumstances. The biggest group of humanity can be found somewhere between those two extremes – the perennial overachievers and the professional never-do-wells.” – to John Podesta February 21, 2017 6:10 p.m.

The list of recipients also includes many members of liberal media outlets such as Huffington Post and Politico.

Had this conversation been confiscated with links to the Trump campaign, we could allow Hillary the keys to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave right now.

Now other conservative and Trump supporters are reporting that Podesta was the author, I believe he is merely one of the recipients after carefully studying the chain of the email. I am though, quite uncomfortable with the fact that Podesta neither corrects or admonishes the author in the information provided but he should not be within a mile of this kind of rhetoric.

Can you imagine if Donald Trump said that!

Visit WikiLeaks to see screen shots of the exchanges. If I hadn’t seen the screenshots I might not have believed this happened.

Go here to see what we have written about Podesta over many years.

Memo to all weak-kneed Republicans: Get a grip

Oh, horrors! Oh, shocking! Oh, lewd, lewd, lewd!

Spare me. What’s really shocking is the smarmy sanctimonious hypocrisy of it all.

It’s comical to watch the drama coming from Democrats in response to the 11-year old “hot mic” incident with Donald Trump.

Democrats who defended a President who admitted to receiving oral sex from an intern in the Oval Office while discussing bombing runs against Serbia, and who think it’s just hunky-dory to put boys in the Girls’ locker room in public schools

But Republicans? Really? Senators Mike Lee and his ilk (who, let’s not forget, have long been #NeverTrumpers), climbing high on their sanctimonious horse to say Trump’s comments were just about the worst thing that’s ever been said about women?

Puh-leese. As Charles Krauthammer so cogently pointed out on Fox News the evening the scandal broke, if you thought Donald Trump was a saint, you haven’t been paying attention.

Any Republican with an ounce of political savvy should understand that Hillary’s playbook is all about impugning Donald Trump’s character. That is all she’s got. Because if she ran on the issues — her secret endorsement of open borders, for example – she would go down in flames.

It’s time our party got a collective grip on itself.

Tony Perkins and Ralph Reed, two responsible evangelical leaders, got it just right in their comments.

Here’s what Perkins, who heads the Family Research Council, said:

“My personal support for Donald Trump has never been based upon shared values, it is based upon shared concerns about issues such as: justices on the Supreme Court that ignore the constitution, America’s continued vulnerability to Islamic terrorists and the systematic attack on religious liberty that we’ve seen in the last 7 1/2 years.”

To the Mike Lee’s, Kelly Ayotte’s, Mia Love’s, and Paul Ryan’s out there: have you forgotten why we elected you in the first place?

Have you forgotten why the Tea Party exploded onto the political scene in 2010, and why Donald Trump succeeded in roundly defeating 16 highly-qualified and highly-skilled Republican opponents in the primary?

A movement has sprung up in this country, and the political elites are terrified that it will succeed in pushing the eject button on their cozy Party of Big Government that has ruled, raped, and destroyed this country for too long.

Republicans and Democrats belong to this Party. Hillary Clinton is the current leader of this Party.

Republican and Independent voters are undoubtedly smarter than the Mike Lee’s, Kelly Ayotte’s and the rest of them. These voters understand that the Movement will ultimately triumph, and that they will never go silent again until it does.

They will elect Donald Trump and Mike Pence because they know that this is our last chance to keep our nation from plunging over the cliff into an abyss of debt, weakness, and servitude.

They know that an election victory by Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine will mean a bigger, more expensive, more intrusive federal government, higher taxes, and a diminished U.S. military.

They know that a Hillary victory will mean America will continue to “lead from behind,” the “policy” Hillary touted as such a huge success in Libya, even as America’s enemies continue to attack us and get away with it unopposed.

What part of “defeat” do Mike Lee and Kelly Ayotte fail to understand?

I’m not talking a defeat of Donald Trump. I’m talking about the defeat of the America most of us still love and cherish.

To repeat: nobody ever thought that Donald Trump was a saint. That was never his qualification for office.

The reason Donald Trump is the only Republican qualified to become the next president is because he is the only one who understood early — and continues to articulate — the broad-based popular movement of Americans who are determined to stop the theft of our nation by the political and media elites.

United Nations promoting ‘new wave of refugees’ to America from Sudan

Hint: This ethnic groups starts with an ‘S’ but it’s not Syria this time!

We are starting to see stories lamenting the newest wave of migrants on the move.  About a million of them are fleeing South Sudan! Stories are starting to pop up to begin to set the stage (to get your minds right) on the need to add more ‘refugees’ from South Sudan to our already large flow from Africa.

Why are civil wars around the globe our problem?

sudan_southsudan1

South Sudan has devolved into another civil war. Why are civil wars in Africa or the Middle East our problem?

This is one of  many stories I’ve seen lately where the propaganda pressure (the guilt-tripping) has begun. They are not talking about third country resettlement yet (that I am aware of), but surely it is not far behind, so I am prepping you here to be ready when it comes (and creating a new tag for South Sudan).

From the BBC in mid-September:

The number of people who have fled South Sudan because of the country’s civil war has passed the one million mark, the UN refugee agency says.

Fighting that broke out in the capital, Juba, in July is responsible for the latest surge in those fleeing, it says.

More than 1.6 million people are also displaced within South Sudan, meaning about 20% of the population have been made homeless since December 2013.

A fragile peace deal signed last year is on the brink of collapse.

And here is a United Nations story from last week.

So when the push begins (we missed it for the DR Congo lobbying effort which has resulted in 50,000 being placed in American towns) to bring a new wave of South Sudanese here by the tens of thousands, remember this Wikipedia description (below) of the Civil War and demand to know why is this our problem? Why do we need to move more South Sudanese into the US?

(I have posted this detailed to description to show how this is so-not our problem.)

The South Sudanese Civil War was a conflict in South Sudan between forces of the government and opposition forces.[45][46][47][48]

In December 2013, a political power struggle broke out between President Kiir and his former deputy Riek Machar.[49] The president accused Mr. Machar and ten others of attempting a coup d’état.[50] Machar denied trying to start a coup and fled, calling for Kiir to resign.[51] Fighting broke out between the SPLM and the SPLM – in opposition, igniting the civil war. Ugandan troops were deployed to fight alongside South Sudanese government forces against the rebels.[52] In January 2014 the first ceasefire agreement was reached. Fighting still continued and would be followed by several more ceasefire agreements. Negotiations were mediated by “IGAD +” (which includes the eight regional nations called the Intergovernmental Authority on Development as well as the African Union, United Nations, China, the EU, USA, UK and Norway). A peace agreement known as the “Compromise Peace Agreement” was signed in Ethiopia under threat of United Nations sanctions for both sides in August 2015.[53] Machar returned to Juba in 2016 and was appointed vice president.[54] Following a second breakout of fighting within Juba, Machar fled again and went to exile in the Sudan.[55]

Up to 300,000 people are estimated to have been killed in the war, including notable atrocities such as the 2014 Bentiu massacre.[37][56] Although both men have supporters from across South Sudan’s ethnic divides, subsequent fighting has had ethnic undertones. Mr. Kiir’s Dinka ethnic group has been accused of attacking other ethnic groups and Mr. Machar’ Nuer ethnic group has been accused of attacking the Dinka.[57] More than 1,000,000 people have been displaced inside South Sudan and more than 400,000 people have fled to neighbouring countries,[58] especially Kenya, Sudan, and Uganda, as a result of the conflict.[59]

Civil wars will never end in Africa and the Middle East and we need to more forcefully say—send some humanitarian aid if we must, but let them fight it out! Do not move them to American towns!

EU to British Press: DO NOT Report when Terrorists are Muslims

A report from the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) found there was an increase in hate speech and racist violence in the UK.

The report makes a whopping 23 recommendations to Theresa May’s Government for changes to criminal law, the freedom of the press, crime reporting and equality law.

Note the astronomical number of victims of violent jihadists; e.g. Muslim-on-Muslim violence; violent persecution of Christians, other infidels and apostates; the Islamic charters to obliterate Israel, and the hatred against Jews routinely propagated in Islamic states, as well as in mosques in Western lands; the abuse of up to a million girls in Britain by Muslim rape gangs; etc. etc. It is peculiar, in light of all that and more, Islamophobia continues to be prioritized by the ECRI.

So now the EU is said to be ordering the British press not to report when terrorists are Muslims, for fear of stirring up “Islamophobia.”

“Islamophobia” continues to be indoctrinated into Western minds as part of a strategy created by stealth jihadists to beat down critics of Islam; this EU order to the press will keep the voting public (which pays the wages of political authorities) in the dark as the West continues to be infiltrated by jihadists.

The ECRI Chair, Christian Uhlund, who blames the press for racism, also blamed Brexit for causing “anti-foreigner” sentiment…

“The Brexit referendum seems to have led to a further rise in ‘anti-foreigner’ sentiment, making it even more important that the British authorities take the steps outlined in our report as a matter of priority.”

In a further mockery, the ECRI is supposed to be a human rights body:

ECRI is a human rights body of the Council of Europe, composed of independent experts, which monitors problems of racism, xenophobia, antisemitism, intolerance and racial discrimination.

Hardly an accurate description. The ECRI has become an accomplice in jihadist crimes against innocents, completely abandoning the human rights of victims of jihad.

“FREE SPEECH CRACKDOWN: EU orders British press NOT to reveal when terrorists are Muslims”, by Katie Mansfield, UK Express, October 5, 2016:

A report from the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) found there was an increase in hate speech and racist violence in the UK from 2009 to March 2016.

Blaming the press, ECRI Chair Christian Ahlund, said: “It is no coincidence that racist violence is on the rise in the UK at the same time as we see worrying examples of intolerance and hate speech in the newspapers, online and even among politicians.”

The report makes a whopping 23 recommendations to Theresa May’s Government for changes to criminal law, the freedom of the press, crime reporting and equality law.

And despite the report not analysing coverage of the historic Brexit vote, Mr Ahlund saw fit to comment on the UK’s decision to leave the EU.

In a sweeping statement, he said: “The Brexit referendum seems to have led to a further rise in ‘anti-foreigner’ sentiment, making it even more important that the British authorities take the steps outlined in our report as a matter of priority.”

The report lays into the British press and urges the government to “give more rigorous training” to reporters.

In the 83-page report, the Commission said: “ECRI considers that, in light of the fact that Muslims are increasingly under the spotlight as a result of recent ISIS-related terrorist acts around the world, fuelling prejudice against Muslims shows a reckless disregard, not only for the dignity of the great majority of Muslims in the United Kingdom, but also for their safety.

“In this context, it draws attention to a recent study by Teeside University suggesting that where the media stress the Muslim background of perpetrators of terrorist acts, and devote significant coverage to it, the violent backlash against Muslims is likely to be greater than in cases where the perpetrators’ motivation is downplayed or rejected in favour of alternative explanations.”….

But as Britain prepares to leave the crumbling bloc, the Government waded in to defend freedom of expression.

In a written statement to the ECRI, the Government said: “The Government is committed to a free and open press and does not interfere with what the press does and does not publish, as long as the press abides by the law.”

ECRI is a human rights body of the Council of Europe, composed of independent experts, which monitors problems of racism, xenophobia, antisemitism, intolerance and racial discrimination.

The group writes reports on every member state every five years and says the documents are “analyses based on a great deal of information gathered from a wide variety of sources.

ECRI visited the UK in November 2015 as it gathered evidence for the report….

Nobel Peace Prize Nominee to Expose Hillary Clinton’s Role In Libya

WASHINGTON, D.C. /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Dr. K.A. Paul, known as the world’s most popular evangelist and Nobel Peace Prize nominee, will hold a press conference to discuss the role Secretary Clinton played in the Libyan government downfall and eventual death of Muammar Gaddafi.

Dr. Paul facilitated negotiations between General Wesley Clark, Secretary Clinton and the Gaddafi regime, arranging for his government to leave office peacefully only to see Mrs. Clinton decide to ignore the agreement and continue the relentless bombing of Libya. Mrs. Clinton’s decision led to the violent overthrow of the Libyan government, the death of Gaddafi and many others who had negotiated the peace agreement in good faith.

The vacuum created by Clinton’s regime change decision led to ISIS gaining a strong foothold there, millions of refugees and thousands of new terrorists. Today ISIS counts Libya as one of its primary territories.

On hand will be former Ben Carson campaign manager and Trump Campaign Sr. Advisor until the Convention,Ed Brookover, and Four Time Heavyweight Champion, Evander Holyfield, joining the conference via Skype. Dr. Paul will discuss heretofore-undisclosed details about the negotiations, provide documents about the agreement, and describe his harrowing escape from Libya.

EXCLUSIVE: Hillary Killed Libya Peace Deal over Personal Vendetta, Claims Whistleblower

Gaddafi agreed to hold free elections, but Clinton’s refusal led to ISIS takeover, thousands of deaths, international migrant crisis

Paul Joseph Watson – OCTOBER 3, 2016

Hillary Clinton personally nixed a peace deal in Libya that would have led to free elections and prevented the country being seized by ISIS, all because of a personal vendetta she had with Muammar Gaddafi, according to explosive new claims made by a whistleblower who personally oversaw the negotiations.

Christian preacher Dr. Kilari Anand Paul is a global peace ambassador originally from India who is now a naturalized U.S. citizen.

Colonel Gaddafi personally invited Dr. Paul to Tripoli, Libya for peace talks having looked up to Paul as a spiritual leader since 1992 and having been impressed with the evangelist’s counseling work with King Hussein of Jordan and Yasser Arafat.

Dr. Paul arrived in Libya on August 5, 2011 with a contingent of Indian Members of Parliament and others on his peacekeeping team. Upon hearing of their arrival via press reports, General Wesley Clark encouraged Dr. Paul to try to negotiate a settlement between the U.S. State Department and Gaddafi in order to put a halt to the brutal conflict.

Over the course of ten days, an agreement was reached between Libyan Prime Minister Baghdadi al-Mahmoudi, President Muammar Gaddafi and the U.S. State Department in coordination with the Obama White House. The deal was overseen by General Clark as well as U.S. Rep Dennis Kucinich.

Under the terms of the deal, detailed below in an official letter signed by Prime Minister Baghdadi al-Mahmoudi on August 19, 2011, Gaddafi agreed to cease hostilities and immediately move towards holding democratic elections that would put an end to his own 42-year dictatorship.

Woman raped by Bill Clinton: ‘Hillary has to be made accountable’

CHICAGO, IL /PRNewswire/ — Juanita Broaddrick, who says Bill Clinton raped her while he was campaigning for Governor of Arkansas, told AM560 “The Answer” hosts Dan Proft and Amy Jacobson, for Upstream Ideas, a media company based in Chicago under the leadership of Proft, that Hillary Clinton needs to be held accountable for her comments about the women who have accused her husband of sexual misconduct.

Broaddrick, a former nursing home administrator in Arkansas who worked on Clinton’s campaign, claims the former president raped her in a hotel room in Little Rock in 1978.

She said she was speaking out because Clinton had tweeted that sexual abuse victims had a right to be heard and believed.

“I did not set out to do this; I did not start out supporting Donald Trump,” Broaddrick said. “I was only responding to a tweet Hillary Clinton sent out about all victims of sexual abuse should come forward and be believed.”

“That’s why I tweeted when I did. Shame on her. Her of all people should not make that comment. And then after all that she removed ‘you should be believed’ from her website.”

Broaddrick said she met Bill Clinton when he visited the nursing home she owned and managed. Later on a visit to Little Rock, she contacted him, believing he was genuinely interested in the problems facing the nursing home industry.

They agreed to meet in a hotel coffee shop, but then Clinton invited himself up to her room. In the room, Broaddrick claims he raped her, then afterward appeared to think it was “no big deal.”

Before a fundraiser at a later date, Broaddrick said Hillary Clinton came up to her.

“She grabs my arm, very deliberately, and looks at me very angrily and says in a low voice that no-one else can hear, she says, ‘Do you understand everything you do,'” Broaddrick claims.

Asked what she thought about Hillary Clinton’s reported remark describing her husband’s accusers as “rodeo queens,” Broaddrick said, “It’s degradable…she needs to be held accountable for all of the things she did to us.”

National TV and Radio Campaign To Mobilize The Christian Vote Launched [+Video]

my-faith-votes-logoDALLAS, Oct. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — My Faith Votes, a non-partisan movement working for the engagement of Christian voters in the 2016 Election, has launched a national TV and radio campaign. The series of 23 public service announcements (PSAs) for television are running between 40 to 60 times daily, on an estimated 110 million U.S. households. In addition, a series of 12 radio PSAs are also being played by 205 stations in 29 states. My Faith Votes is calling Christians across America to: PRAY, THINK, VOTE.

“This is by far our most ambitious attempt to date at reaching America’s 90 million Evangelicals with the message that their vote in this year’s election truly matters,” said Sealy Yates, founder and president of My Faith Votes. “Our televised PSAs are in 95 percent of America’s TV households, an unprecedented achievement for a non-partisan, religious movement like My Faith Votes.”

The TV and radio PSAs come as the latest addition in a series of initiatives My Faith Votes has recently implemented to encourage Evangelicals to participate in the 2016 Election.  In the last presidential election more than 25 million registered, Christians did not vote, and the last four elections were decided by an average of only 6 million votes.

“My Faith Votes continues to chart a new path, engaging Evangelicals at a grassroots level, and reminding them that they have a moral obligation to vote,” said Johnnie Moore, national spokesperson for My Faith Votes.  “But, that’s not enough. We’re also focused on providing them with information, tools, and services to make voting more convenient.”

My Faith Votes has also established a partnership with TurboVote, a non-profit that provides an integrative application which makes voting easier by sending reminders and other helpful  information for Election Day. It also facilitates online voting and absentee ballot registration. My Faith Votes has also joined forces with The TurboVote Challenge which aims to reach 80 percent voter turnout by the 2020 Election. Other partners of The TurboVote Challenge include Starbucks, AirBnB, and Spotify.

Last month, on the 15th anniversary of 9/11, My Faith Votes provided a free, live webcast from Nashville, TN of the event “Give Thanks” in order to honor first responders. Guest speakers at the event included author and radio host Eric Metaxas, Gov. Mike Huckabee, and artists Michael W. Smith and Charlie Daniels. The “Give Thanks” webcast reached over 590,000 people.  This month, My Faith Votes and honorary national chairman, Dr. Ben Carson, will partner again on the nationwide theatrical release of “Kirk Cameron’s REVIVE US: An Evening of Hope, Vision and Courage.”

As Election Day nears, the organization continues to host a weekly, interactive webcast entitled My Faith Matters LIVE. It’s website MyFaithVotes.org delivers a comprehensive set of voting resources for individuals, churches, and colleges. On social media, My Faith Votes has now reached 258,000 likes on Facebook, and has also embarked upon a nationwide college initiative working to engage  record numbers of Christian college students.

ABOUT MY FAITH VOTES

My Faith Votes is a non-partisan movement focused on motivating the 25 million Christians who were registered to vote but who chose not to vote in the 2012 and previous elections. Dr. Ben Carson serves as the honorary national chairman of My Faith Votes.

Don’t become Distracted, this Election is All About Saving America

Don’t let media distractions cause you to miss your blessing – being an American citizen.

I recently had a conversation with a good friend about the presidential election. He repeated the often heard term of voting for the lesser of two evils. The idea is which is better, Hillary the known evil, or Trump an unknown. My take is that Americans must vote for America and the candidate who best can turn our nation around.

The media wants voters to focus on the unimportant rather than what is truly important, saving America from the elitist class that seeks power at the expense of ordinary citizens.

the-way-back-to-restoring-america-book-coverFrank Buckley, author of The Way Back: Restoring the Promise of America in a speech given at Hillsdale college on July 11,2016 titled “Restoring America’s Economic Mobility” said:

In the Communist Manifesto, Marx and Engels wrote that “the history of all hitherto existing societies is the history of class struggles.” Today the story of American politics is the story of class struggles. It wasn’t supposed to be that way. We didn’t think we were divided into different classes. Neither did Marx.

America was an exception to Marx’s theory of social progress. By that theory, societies were supposed to move from feudalism to capitalism to communism. But the America of the 1850s, the most capitalist society around, was not turning communist. Marx had an explanation for that. “True enough, the classes already exist,” he wrote of the United States, but they “are in constant flux and reflux, constantly changing their elements and yielding them up to one another.”

In other words, when you have economic and social mobility, you don’t go communist. [Emphasis added]

Stop economic and social mobility and you kill America.

Buckley warned, “That is the country in which some imagine we still live, Horatio Alger’s America—a country defined by the promise that whoever you are, you have the same chance as anyone else to rise, with pluck, industry, and talent. But they imagine wrong. The U.S. today lags behind many of its First World rivals in terms of mobility.”

In his column “Aborting the Trump Revolution” Patrick J. Buchanan notes:

Five weeks before Election Day, Trump’s taxes have displaced the former Miss Universe as the critical issue, as determined by the anti-Trump media.

Their motivation is not difficult to discern. Their goals are two. First, make Trump unacceptable as an agent of change. Second, keep the people distracted from their determination to rid America of the incompetent and corrupt ruling class that controls this capital city.

Consider but a few of the disasters that establishment does not want discussed or debated, or the American people thinking about, when they head for the polls in November.

There is the great betrayal of the American working class, the deindustrialization of the country, and the loss of economic independence it took America a century to achieve.

Buckley echoes Buchanan’s “great betrayal of the American working class”, stating:

A complacent Republican establishment denies this change has occurred. If they don’t get it, however, American voters do. For the first time, Americans don’t believe their children will be as well off as they have been. They see an economy that’s stalled, one in which jobs are moving offshore. In the first decade of this century, U.S. multinationals shed 2.9 million U.S. jobs while increasing employment overseas by 2.4 million. General Electric provides a striking example. Jeffrey Immelt became the company’s CEO in 2001, with a mission to advance stock price. He did this in part by reducing GE’s U.S. workforce by 34,000 jobs. During the same period, the company added 25,000 jobs overseas.

Buckley concludes, “Since 2012, establishment Republicans have continued to be less than concerned for the plight of ordinary Americans… There are even the ‘conservative’ pundits who offer the pious hope that drug-addicted Trump supporters will hurry up and die. That’s one way to ameliorate the class struggle, but it doesn’t exactly endear anyone to the establishment.”

Buckley drives home his point with, “[T]he principles held up as sacrosanct by establishment Republicans might be logically unassailable, derived like theorems from a set of axioms based on a pure theory of natural rights. But if I don’t see them making people better off, I say to Hell with them. What the establishment Republicans should ask themselves is Anton Chigurh’s question in No Country for Old Men: If you followed your principles, and your principles brought you to this, what good are your principles?”

To hell with them!
