Poll: 60% of Democrats Would Approve of Military Coup to Remove Trump, 31% Would React Positively to His Assassination

A free society cannot co-exist with a party that would overturn an election at gunpoint.

The foundation of America is government of the people, by the people, for the people. A military junta is its absolute negation: power seized by force from the voters it is meant to serve.

A party whose voters welcome a military coup against an elected president is embracing fascism. When nearly a third say they would react positively to his assassination, the threat goes beyond contempt for Trump. It is contempt for the ballot itself. A country in which political opponents begin to see force and murder as acceptable ways to settle an election is on a road toward civil conflict.

The rest would either be fine with it or downright happy.

The Democrats have embraced pure evil. And revolution, or at least outright coups. A net 32 percent would approve of a MILITARY COUP to replace a democratically elected President of the United States in order to “safeguard the Constitution” (David Strom).

For a party that fancies itself the defender of democracy, today’s Democrats are for ‘by any means necessary’ to oust their political foes.

In its latest edition, Liberal Currents asks, “What Are Democrats Thinking?” A lot of them are thinking about a dead President Donald Trump, according to a new poll featured in the left-wing digital magazine.

The poll, conducted in partnership with the Center for Strategic Politics, finds about one out of every three Democrats responding would like to see Trump assassinated while speaking at a rally. The survey of 683 Dem voters found 23 percent would feel “very positive” about the violent scenario posed. Another 8 percent would feel “somewhat positive.”

More than half of the TDS set would welcome — at least at some level — the president dying in his sleep while in office, according to the poll, conducted on Sept. 3 and Sept. 8-10.

So much for the peace-loving left.

Upholding the Constitution Through Coup

No surprise, many Democrats want Trump out in the worst way. It is curious. For a party that fancies itself the defender of democracy, today’s Democrats are cool with a “by any means necessary” approach to getting rid of their hated political foe.

“Restoring our democracy and upholding the Constitution. The three branches of government should be equal in power and the executive branch has usurped that power,” one poll respondent wrote, according to the publication.

But apparently military coups are an acceptable way of restoring said democracy and upholding the Constitution, according to a majority of respondents. To “safeguard the Constitution,” 43 percent of Democrats surveyed said they would find it “very positive” if “a group of U.S. military leaders” remove the president — their commander-in-chief — from power and “assumed control of the United States.”
