Pro-Palestine, Pro-Hamas And ‘Resistance’ Groups In The United States, Canada, And Australia Plan Events Celebrating And Commemorating Third Anniversary Of October 7 Attacks, Honoring Hamas ‘Martyrs’

As the third anniversary of the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks approaches, anti-Israel groups including pro-Palestinian and pro-Hamas organizations across the United States, Canada, and Australia are mobilizing a coordinated wave of rallies, vigils, walkouts, marches, screenings, and campus actions. Although many organizers present these events as commemorations of Palestinian deaths in Gaza, the language and imagery used in their publicity often go beyond humanitarian advocacy. Many announcements frame the anniversary primarily through narratives of “genocide” and “resistance,” invoke “martyrs,” celebrate Palestinian “sacrifice,” or portray the October 7 assault as an understandable or legitimate response to Israeli policies. In some cases, promotional material explicitly features armed Hamas operatives, praises the “student intifada,” or calls for continued struggle until “liberation.”

Taken together, the planned actions demonstrate how the anniversary is being repurposed as an annual mobilizing date within an increasingly transnational activist ecosystem. Student groups, socialist collectives, healthcare networks, local solidarity organizations, and explicitly pro-Hamas channels are circulating closely aligned slogans and tactics across cities, campuses, and high schools.

The recurring emphasis on walkouts, divestment campaigns, masked participation, anti-imperialist rhetoric, and accusations of university or government “complicity” shows that these events are intended not only to memorialize casualties, but also to sustain political pressure, recruit supporters, and normalize a broader ideological narrative in which Israel, the United States, Canada, and Western institutions are cast as components of a single oppressive system.

Vigils, prayer gatherings, art displays, and moments of grief provide an accessible public-facing framework, while accompanying statements embed these activities within rhetoric that glorifies resistance, rejects Israel’s legitimacy, and presents confrontation as a continuing obligation. This combination enables militant political messaging to circulate through events that may appear, at first glance, to be solely memorial or humanitarian in nature.

The following review documents announced events surrounding October 7 in the United States, Canada, and Australia. It highlights both the geographic breadth of the mobilization and the shared terminology through which diverse organizations are reframing the attacks and their aftermath. The pattern suggests a sustained effort to transform October 7 from the anniversary of a mass-casualty terrorist assault into a symbolic day of global agitation – one used to consolidate activist networks, intensify campaigns against Israel and its supporters, and preserve the legitimacy of “resistance” within public and campus discourse.

In the United States, events are taking place in New York, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Austin, Boston, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Dearborn, Boulder, Seattle, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Grand Rapids among others. In Canada, events are scheduled to take place in Windsor, Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal, Calgary, and Waterloo, while in Australia, events are scheduled in Sydney, Melbourne, Geelong, Wollongong, and Adelaide.

United States

A Dearborn, Michigan-based embroiderer who routinely voices support for terror groups published on October 4 an image of a new piece she made quoting Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) member Ghassan Kanafani. Her new work was made for an upcoming October 7 event in her city. “Just finished this embroidery in preparation for my October 7 stitch-busking event in … downtown Dearborn marking three years of the genocide in Gaza.”

In an Instagram post a New York University account promoted (10/3) an upcoming walkout that will take place on October 7. “NO SCHOOL AS USUAL DURING GENOCIDE This Oct 7th marks 3 years of ongoing genocide in Palestine. The 33-year-old man took part in the Hamas attack on Israel and then traveled to the U.S. on a fraudulent visa under Joe Biden.

The FBI has accused a Louisiana resident of participating in the Hamas-led attack on Israel on 7 October 2023…

According to a recently unsealed FBI criminal complaint, Mahmoud Amin Ya’qub al-Muhtadi armed himself and gathered a group to cross from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel during the attack that left nearly 1,200 people dead.

Hamas fighters also kidnapped more than 250 people, including dozens of US citizens, during the raid. On 13 October, Hamas released the 20 remaining living hostages after the two sides agreed to a tenuous ceasefire in the Palestinian territory.

Al-Muhtadi was an operative of the Gaza-based military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, according to the complaint prepared by FBI supervisory special agent Alexandria M Thoman O’Donnell and submitted to a federal judge on 6 October. O’Donnell serves on a taskforce investigating the murder and kidnapping of American citizens during the 7 October attack.

According to a statement posted by the justice department on Friday, al-Muhtadi’s presence in the US was discovered by Joint Task Force October 7, an initiative launched in March this year, and was investigated by the taskforce members and the FBI in New Orleans.

Alongside US law enforcement agencies, the statement credits the help of seven Israeli security organizations, including Lahav 433, an Israeli crime-fighting umbrella organization, with his apprehension.

We will continue to stand by Jewish Americans and Jewish people around the world against anti-Semitism and terrorism in all its forms.”

“As set forth in documents filed yesterday, on October 7, when Al-Muhtadi learned of the unfolding barbaric attack on Israel and civilians from multiple nations, including the United States, he sprang into action. He armed himself, recruited additional marauders, and then entered Israel, where there is evidence placing him near one of the worst-hit Israeli communities,” said Assistant Attorney General for National Security John A. Eisenberg. “Subsequently, Al-Muhtadi fraudulently obtained a visa to enter the United States where he hoped to remain undetected. This arrest is the first public step in bringing to justice those responsible for harming Americans on that day.”

“October 7 is a day that lives in infamy for so many, Gentile and Jew alike, because of the terrorist attack on Israel that began a wave of antisemitic violence,” said U.S. Attorney Zachary A. Keller for the Western District of Louisiana. “Let this arrest serve as a reminder both that those who perpetrate acts of terrorism cannot evade justice by hiding in our communities and that state, local, and federal law enforcement — here, the FBI, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, Louisiana State Police, Lafayette Police Department, and Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office — are working tirelessly to bring these people to justice.”

According to court documents, Al-Muhtadi is an operative for the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine’s (DFLP) military wing, the National Resistance Brigades (NRB, also known as the Martyr Umar al-Qasim Forces), a Gaza-based paramilitary group that participated in the Hamas-led terrorist attack against Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

As alleged, on the morning of Oct. 7, 2023, Al-Muhtadi learned about the Hamas invasion, armed himself, gathered others, and crossed into Israel with the intention of assisting in Hamas’s terrorist attack. According to the complaint, Al-Muhtadi’s phone utilized a cell tower located near Kibbutz Kfar Aza in Israel – the location of a horrifying massacre by Hamas and its supporters resulting in the deaths of many civilians, including at least four American citizens.

In addition, Al-Muhtadi allegedly provided false information in his U.S. visa application relating to his involvement with a paramilitary organization, connection to Hamas, participation in a terrorist attack, and military training. Al-Muhtadi swore to the accuracy of numerous materially false statements in his visa application with respect to at least his affiliation with DFLP, the NRB, and Hamas, his training, and his involvement in the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks. According to U.S. Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection records, Al-Muhtadi entered the United States on Sept. 12, 2024.

Joint Task Force October 7 (JTF 10-7) and the FBI New Orleans Field Office are investigating the case, with valuable assistance from Israeli authorities, including the State Attorney’s Office of Israel, the Israeli Security Agency, Lahav 433 and the Intelligence and Investigation Department of the Israel National Police, the Israel Defense Forces, and the Israeli National Bureau for Counter Terror Financing, as well as the FBI Law Enforcement Attache Office in Israel. The Louisiana State Police, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Lafayette Police Department and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office also provided significant assistance.

United Kingdom police are releasing five terror suspects on bail Monday after they were arrested on suspicion of a terror plot targeting a U.S. air base in Britain this weekend.

Laurence ​Taylor, head of ​Counter Terrorism Policing, confirmed that investigations into the five men are ongoing, “including ⁠that this may be actively committed ​by proxies ​or ⁠individuals either knowingly or unknowingly working on ⁠behalf ​of a ​foreign state.” Meanwhile, the Iranian Embassy in the U.K. has denied any connection to the five men.

The Sunday night arrests came after a local resident and farmer in Gloucestershire told the BBC that she had called police late in the evening after coming across three white vans blocking a road near RAF Fairford air base. As she turned her car around, she told the BBC that her headlights illuminated a group of “hooded and masked men” who “panicked” upon being spotted and scrambled into a nearby woods.

Iran’s Embassy vehemently denied any connection with the incident in a public statement on Monday.

“The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London categorically rejects and strongly condemns the recent unfounded and malicious speculations published by some British individuals and media outlets attempting to link Iran to arrest of five suspects in the vicinity of RAF Fairford base,” the Embassy wrote on X.

“The Circulation of such fabricated speculations, particularly in the aftermath of the criminal acts of aggression committed by the United States and the Israeli regime against the Iranian people, will serve no purpose other than to fuel Iranophobia propaganda in the U.K.,” the statement continued.

Manchester to Manhattan: Why Jewish Safety Is Now a Question for Every Western City

On Tuesday, British police confirmed the fears of Manchester’s Jewish community. Two men were arrested in the city center the night before Yom Kippur, on suspicion of plotting an imminent attack. The arrests and searches in Salford and Liverpool came just before the anniversary of the Heaton Park attack, when two worshippers were killed outside a synagogue.

The Heaton Park attack was the first deadly antisemitic terror incident in Britain since 1984, carried out by an Islamic State supporter. The anniversary was marked by armed police outside synagogues across Manchester, underlining the ongoing threat.

For Orthodox Jews visibly walking to synagogue, the message from the heavy police presence was clear: You are a target. The national terror threat level remains severe, and Jewish communities increasingly feel under siege on their holiest days.

Why the Hatred Runs So Deep

Antisemitism is one of the oldest hatreds, with deep historical and religious roots. In 627, in Medina, the violent conflict between Muhammad and the Jewish tribes, which ended in mass executions of the Jews, set a pattern of hostility repeated for centuries in many societies, including modern Britain.

Hamas is in the same position; in its 1988 charter, it references a well-known hadith attributed to Muhammad, which says that, in the last days, even the stones and trees will cry out, “O Muslim, there is a Jew behind me—come and kill him.”

The document prepared at the time when Hamas was founded declares that the struggle against the Jews is both great and serious, and that the only solution to the Palestinian question lies in jihad. The Oct. 7 massacre was no exception; it was the embodiment of that ideology.

That is why this hatred is so hard to deal with: It isn’t a matter of policy, but rather a hostility rooted in Islam for over 1,400 years, which has now been spread all over the world—from Gaza to Golders Green, from Manchester to Manhattan.

The Demographic Squeeze

In Britain, the pressure is not merely ideological but also demographic. The Jewish population in England and Wales is about 270,000, less than 0.5% of the total population. The Muslim population has reached nearly 4 million, which is over 6%, and in London, Muslims make up 15% of the population.

In traditional Jewish areas such as Golders Green and Stamford Hill, the two communities now live next to one another, and the balance is changing. The streets that once had Orthodox Jews walking about in full faith are becoming less Jewish and more Muslim.

Being visibly Jewish now means standing out—and, increasingly, facing danger. In 2025, the Community Security Trust recorded 3,700 antisemitic incidents—an all-time high, with every month exceeding 200 cases.

Why Jews Need Their Own Police

This is why British Jews rely on the Community Security Trust, a volunteer force that guards synagogues and events. The government funds it because state protection is insufficient. Hatzola, a Jewish ambulance service, was also formed because emergency services were too slow to respond.

Manchester to Manhattan

The threat is not unique to Britain.

In New York, Mayor Zohran Mamdani has taken stances that many see as hostile to the Jewish community, including discarding the city’s definition of antisemitism and refusing to oppose anti-Israel protests.

The issue facing New York’s Jewish community—the largest Jewish community outside of Israel—is whether Manhattan’s future will resemble Manchester’s.

If a mayor’s beliefs are based on an ideology that, for 14 centuries, has regarded the rejection of its prophet by Jews as a capital offense, then the protection surrounding the synagogue ceases to be a problem belonging to Britain and becomes one for the United States.

The Security Gap: CST Versus CSI

The difference between British and American cities lies more in the response than in the threat itself.

In Britain, the Community Security Trust provides a complete security service. It provides guards, conducts patrols, maintains an incident database, and stations officers outside synagogues. It functions as the community’s private police force because the state is unable to protect the Jews.

In New York, the Community Security Initiative focuses on intelligence and training rather than direct physical protection. Shomrim and other volunteer patrols fill the gap, while Hatzalah provides emergency services for Orthodox neighborhoods.

The initiative is sophisticated; in 2024 it identified 221 threats to life. However, it is an intelligence network and not an operational force. It can detect threats but does not stop an attacker.

The Militia Question

This raises the question: Should American Jews consider forming their own armed security, as the law allows, to ensure their safety?

The legal basis exists because the Second Amendment begins with the words “a well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state,” and the Supreme Court has recognized an individual right to keep and bear arms; American Jews therefore have a constitutionally protected right to arm themselves, whereas British Jews do not.

Since political leaders have been giving Jewish safety a low priority, American Jewish communities should think again about depending entirely on the state for their protection.

The stones and the trees are still calling for the killing of Jews. The question is: How many Muslims are ready to carry out this command from Muhammad?

Poll: 60% of Democrats Would Approve of Military Coup to Remove Trump, 31% Would React Positively to His Assassination

A free society cannot co-exist with a party that would overturn an election at gunpoint.

The foundation of America is government of the people, by the people, for the people. A military junta is its absolute negation: power seized by force from the voters it is meant to serve.

A party whose voters welcome a military coup against an elected president is embracing fascism. When nearly a third say they would react positively to his assassination, the threat goes beyond contempt for Trump. It is contempt for the ballot itself. A country in which political opponents begin to see force and murder as acceptable ways to settle an election is on a road toward civil conflict.

31 percent would approve of removing him by assassination.

The rest would either be fine with it or downright happy.

The Democrats have embraced pure evil. And revolution, or at least outright coups. A net 32 percent would approve of a MILITARY COUP to replace a democratically elected President of the United States in order to “safeguard the Constitution” (David Strom).

For a party that fancies itself the defender of democracy, today’s Democrats are for ‘by any means necessary’ to oust their political foes.

In its latest edition, Liberal Currents asks, “What Are Democrats Thinking?” A lot of them are thinking about a dead President Donald Trump, according to a new poll featured in the left-wing digital magazine.

The poll, conducted in partnership with the Center for Strategic Politics, finds about one out of every three Democrats responding would like to see Trump assassinated while speaking at a rally. The survey of 683 Dem voters found 23 percent would feel “very positive” about the violent scenario posed. Another 8 percent would feel “somewhat positive.”

More than half of the TDS set would welcome — at least at some level — the president dying in his sleep while in office, according to the poll, conducted on Sept. 3 and Sept. 8-10.

So much for the peace-loving left.

Upholding the Constitution Through Coup

No surprise, many Democrats want Trump out in the worst way. It is curious. For a party that fancies itself the defender of democracy, today’s Democrats are cool with a “by any means necessary” approach to getting rid of their hated political foe.

“Restoring our democracy and upholding the Constitution. The three branches of government should be equal in power and the executive branch has usurped that power,” one poll respondent wrote, according to the publication.

But apparently military coups are an acceptable way of restoring said democracy and upholding the Constitution, according to a majority of respondents. To “safeguard the Constitution,” 43 percent of Democrats surveyed said they would find it “very positive” if “a group of U.S. military leaders” remove the president — their commander-in-chief — from power and “assumed control of the United States.”

Lindsay Clancy’s Devil’s Bargain

The Lindsay Clancy murder trial has proven to be a litmus test for our society, and the results are not encouraging.

Before the onset of the victim/oppressor paradigm, transgenderism, DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), and other mind-bending perversions of normalcy, this case would have simply aroused shock and horror over a mother murdering her young children. That she would be found guilty would have been a foregone conclusion.

Not so in our contemporary cultural morass, where Lindsay Clancy has become an icon revered by thousands of woman on social media.

This phenomenon may stem in part from our penchant for celebrity worship. Almost anyone who becomes an “influencer” on social media—along with big name actors, athletes, and politicians—can boast social media followings and fan clubs.

Unfortunately, this extends to virulent antisemites like Nick Fuentes, not to mention Socialist/Communist New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Worse yet, the halo of celebrity gleams upon the head of Luigi Mangione, coldblooded murderer of Brian Thompson, CEO of United Healthcare. Mangione, in the manner of despicable cowards, shot Thompson multiple times in the back—because, um, not all of his numerous insurance claims were paid.

Per Wikipedia, Mangione’s murder of Thompson due to anger over his denied claims seems entirely reasonable to many young people:

On social media, reactions to the killing included widespread contempt and mockery toward Thompson and UnitedHealth Group, sympathy and praise for Mangione, and broader criticism of the American healthcare system and health insurance industry.

THE LINDSAY CLANCY CASE

For better or worse, the public has had livestream and video access to the Clancy trial and thousands of women have taken to social media to endlessly discuss it, with the common denominator being “support” for Lindsay.

While we can all feel sympathy for her struggles with postpartum depression and insomnia, where’s the sympathy for the three young lives she snuffed out?

If we consider just the raw facts of this case, it looks like this:

The mother of an infant and two young children, ages 3 and 5, systematically strangled all three of them, using strength resistance cords wrapped around their necks. She began with one child, tightened the cord, pulling on it while that child, in typical response to strangulation—first feeling terror, then pain as the hyoid bone and laryngeal cartilage are crushed, then asphyxia and the body thrashing for breath—began to turn blue and finally stopped moving. Then she did the same to the next child, and to the 8-month infant, one at a time. Once three little corpses were strewn on the basement floor, she jumped out a second story window in a suicide attempt, but survived.

Is this an act we want to condone? Is this a woman we want to revere?

Says Victor Davis Hanson:

At least in the medieval period, they knew that the murderer had done something wrong and was being punished. In the post-medieval period, we are glorifying that murderer…

I won’t even get into Lindsay Clancy, who strangled her three children and became everywoman to the feminist left.

And now we’ve learned that the jury was deadlocked because only one juror believed her crime merited a verdict of guilty.

We used to celebrate heroes and excoriate villains, but that practice has been turned on its head—one of many instances of satanic inversion plaguing our society.

A case in point: The Broadway musical “Wicked” portrays green-skinned Elphaba—the future Wicked Witch of the West who terrifies Dorothy in the movie The Wizard of Oz—as the heroine, and the young woman who becomes Glinda the Good Witch, as the evil one.

We raised a couple of generations on similar inverted messages and now we wonder why they see a murderess as a heroine.

And like the switcheroo in “Wicked,” satanists—who believe God and Satan both exist—view God as the villain and Satan as the hero.

We’d do well to recall the biblical response: Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness…Isaiah, 5:20

THE CLANCY FAN CLUB

In a recent podcast, political commentator Matt Walsh maintains “Not guilty by reason of insanity” shouldn’t even exist as a legal category, and lambasts the Clancy groupies.

Here’s a powerful comment posted beneath the video:

As a mother to 3, if I came out of a psychotic state and realized I viciously murdered my 3 babies, I would walk myself into the jail myself and beg for the death penalty.

Walsh observes:

A lot of these videos don’t even talk about the case at all; they just straight up worship Lindsay Clancy because she killed her kids.

Here’s something to ponder: Suppose Nurse Clancy had brought three of her exercise bands with her to the hospital where she worked as a labor and delivery nurse, and while alone, wrapped the cords around the tiny necks of three newborns, quietly strangling them to death.

Would the TikTok crowd have rushed to support her? Would 11 members of the jury have called for a Not Guilty verdict by reason of temporary insanity?

There’s only one difference between this scenario and what actually transpired: the three victims in Lindsay’s case were her own children.

So it appears Matt Walsh is right. What was on trial in Massachusetts is a mother’s right to kill her children.

In fact, shortly before the Clancy trial began, a new law was passed in the state allowing for abortion up to the moment of birth. But you can only “abort” a process, not a human being. The argument was always about the abortion of a pregnancy—the process of fetal development. Suddenly the ground beneath our feet shifted into new territory, whereby a person can be “aborted.”

If a woman can kill her full-term baby at the moment of birth, why not a day or two later? A month later? Or five years later, perhaps?

The argument is whether a woman owns her children as pieces of property she may dispense with as she wishes. Note also that fathers rate no place in this discussion, apparently having no claim on children they rightly view as theirs, too.

I also agree with Walsh that this case should not be controversial. If Clancy isn’t found guilty, imagine the cases that may follow. In fact, there’s already been what appears to be a copycat murder:

An Illinois mother had become “very invested” in the high-profile Lindsay Clancy murder trial before prosecutors say she killed her 2-year-old son on Tuesday, according to witnesses cited in court documents.

THE UNEXPLAINED MYSTERIOUS VOICE COMMANDING MURDER

I’d never intended to write about this case. But when I read a quotation of what Lindsay claims to have heard from a voice inside her head, I was riveted. I proceeded to examine the evidence from Lindsay herself.

Here’s a quote from Yahoo News:

Lindsay had described hearing “a loud, demanding, repetitious” male voice telling her, “This is your last chance. Kill the children so you can kill yourself,” and said she “felt a force come over her.”

But was this actually Lindsay’s own inner voice commanding her to do something she wanted to do? Was it an “auditory hallucination” brought on by the cocktail of psychotropic drugs she’d been given to “help” with her postpartum depression?

Let’s reexamine the commands themselves.

“This is your last chance. Kill the children so you can kill yourself.”

These two claims immediately struck me as patently false: Lindsay would have countless other “chances” to murder her children if such were her aim. And there is no logical explanation for why she’d have to kill them before committing suicide.

The statement “This is your last chance” is reminiscent of the well-known sales ploy used to pressure customers to make a quick decision by creating a false sense of urgency.

In Lindsay’s case, she apparently felt that pressure as if her life depended on it—or, more accurately, as if her wished-for death depended on it.

Next, even if Lindsay had decided to kill herself, why would she need to kill her three innocent children?

Lindsay had a husband, and they lived in a nice home. If she died, their father would take care of the children.

Wouldn’t their future be her main concern as she contemplated suicide? Wouldn’t she write a suicide note asking her husband and her children to forgive her?

Oddly, none of that happened.

There is something else, however, that might explain her heinous acts: The powerful male voice issuing obscenely horrific commands that she felt powerless to disobey may have signaled demonic influence.

And before you accuse me of resorting to superstitious religious balderdash to explain a simple case of overdosing on dicey pharmaceuticals, I suggest you read the Bible. In the meantime, here’s another example: Before going off the deep end by becoming openly anti-Trump, anti-Republican, virulently antisemitic, and a virtual spokesman for Iran—Hamas’ most powerful supporter—Tucker Carlson claimed to have been visited by a demon. AUDITORY HALLUCINATION ANOMALIES

During the court case, forensic psychiatrist Gregory Saathoff, called by the prosecutors, made a particularly telling observation. As quoted in NewsNationNow:

Saathoff said aspects of Clancy’s description of the alleged command hallucination were “unusual,” including that she reported never hearing a voice before the day of the killings or afterward.

He said it was also atypical for a command voice to just cease once the killings were over, saying, “committing the act is not curative of the voice, I’ve not ever seen that.”

But could it be that the auditory “hallucination” was not “unusual” because Clancy made it up to excuse her actions, but because it was not an hallucination at all?

HALLUCINATION OR THE REAL THING?

Award-winning journalist and Catholic author Michael H. Brown, whose bio you can read here, posted a short video on TikTok I’d encourage you to watch.

Here’s a transcribed excerpt:

Everyone is arguing about the psychiatric aspects of it, but she was possessed! I mean, she heard a deep, commanding insistent voice telling her she had to kill her children and herself….This wasn’t psychiatry…

Psychiatrists try to call it something like “command delusion” or “bipolar disorder,” “postpartum psychosis” and maybe they can play a role, but again, spirits do this too.

Here’s what Pastor Mark Driscoll had to say:

If in fact she did hear these voices, I’ll tell you this, these are demons. This is demonic. It doesn’t mean that she is therefore not morally responsible for her decisions. Demons can say things to us, but we’re responsible for our response.

I also came across a book on Amazon by Christian author Glenda Solomon described as follows:

In “The ‘Demonic Possession’ of Lindsay Clancy,” Christian author Glenda Solomon presents a direct biblical case that the deaths of Cora, Dawson, and Callan Clancy bear the recognizable marks of demonic influence: deception disguised as mercy, a commanding voice, innocent blood, self-destruction, secrecy, and the complete devastation of a family.

A TRAGEDY WITH NO CATHARSIS

In a weakened state physiologically and psychologically—almost literally “beside herself”—Lindsay Clancy may have become fertile ground for demonic interference. If so, once she’d done the bidding of Satan’s minion by strangling her children, the insistent male voice ceased. Mission accomplished. And what would that mission have been? To deceive Lindsay into committing child sacrifice and to damn her.

Of course if Clancy lied about hearing a voice, that would mean that the triple murder was her own premeditated plan. After all, she had been fantasizing about killing her children for months, confiding this to her husband and parents, but steadfastly avoiding letting medical professionals know—even lying about it when asked directly.

And that is the definitive tell: By intentionally refusing to admit to her doctors that her “horrific intrusive thoughts” were of killing her children, Lindsay cast the die—she locked out the possibility of receiving exactly the kind of help she needed. After months of mental rehearsals of murdering her young, she performed the acts—seeming to be “watching herself” as in her fantasies.

As much as we may want to blame the psychotropic drugs, the pharmaceutical companies that make them, and the psychiatrists who over-prescribed them and failed to grasp how desperate she felt, Lindsay stole three precious lives and must pay the price. It is heartbreaking, because she was a loving mother. But what she did cannot be undone.

By yielding to evil in those moments, she sacrificed everything she loved. Perhaps that’s why the Bible cautions us to: Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians, 6:11

The Lindsay Clancy story is a cautionary tale that goes beyond the manifest dangers of psychotropic drugs. It touches on our universal dilemma—that, as imperfect as we are, we attempt to discern right from wrong, moral from immoral, and to choose wisely—in Biblical terms, to “choose life.” Deuteronomy, 30:19

Solzhenitsyn put it this way: “The line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being.”

There are some lines you never want to cross.

Terrorist kills Netanel Shakron, father of six, in Samaria on Yom Kippur eve

“Today, six young Israeli children lost their father to heinous terrorism,” the Israeli government stated. “May his memory be a blessing.”

A Palestinian terrorist shot and killed Netanel Shakron, a father of six, near Neveh Tzuf in the Binyamin region of Samaria on Sunday, on the eve of Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said.

“Today, six young Israeli children lost their father to heinous terrorism,” the ministry stated, of the attack in the area which is also known as Halamish. “May his memory be a blessing.”

Shukrun was reportedly in his 40s.

In the past, news outlets, international organizations and Palestinian leaders have highlighted what they say is Israeli aggression on and leading up to Muslim holidays and holy months. The Oct. 7 terror attack took place on a Jewish holiday.

The gunman reportedly shot at Israeli civilians from a vehicle near a natural spring in the area. The victim’s son saw him get shot, according to reports. Shukrun was later pronounced dead at Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah.

Minutes after the shooting, an Israeli soldier near the scene arrived and shot at the attacker, injuring the latter, who fled, the Israeli military said.

Israeli troops later caught the terrorist after he sought treatment at a nearby hospital, according to the Israel Defense Forces. Israeli special forces assisted in the search, and Israeli Air Force craft were deployed to support the operation.

“No terrorist is immune, nor are those who aided them. We will settle the score with all of them. In Gaza, in Lebanon and in Judea and Samaria,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Sunday.

Yes, They Really Want to Destroy Us: The Startling Details of the Islamic/Leftist Coalition

Many people over the years how the left, with its glorification of delusion and deviance, could possibly align with Islamic movements that disparage

the West for the very hedonism and dissipation that the left idolizes. In this brisk, clear, and massively important new investigation of this peculiar coalition, The Red/Green Axis 3.0: America Wake Up or Be Destroyed, veteran investigative journalist James Simpson offers a chilling answer: “Their ultimate goal is power. Period. Nothing more, nothing less; and of course, the unearned wealth that goes with it.” In this indispensable little volume, Simpson details the myriad ways they’re working now to attain that power.

Simpson exposes the interlocking structure of tax-exempt organizations that fuel what he describes forthrightly as a Communist movement — not socialist, certainly not democratic, but full-on Communist in its desire to destroy the United States as a free society and establish in its place a totalitarian government that will, due to modern technological advances, be able to control every aspect of individual lives more than the Soviet Union or East Germany or Democratic Kampuchea ever dreamed of doing.

And they’re working toward this goal with tax relief from the United States government. Simpson notes that many tax-exempt organizations are legitimate, “like many churches. But many are very partisan, and in some cases, like George Soros’ Open Society foundations, openly advocate and promote America’s destruction.”

While these movements present themselves as grass-roots groupings of committed activists, in reality, they’re massively-funded, top-down, rigidly controlled organizations in which the cadres dutifully march in lockstep, anticipating the totalitarian future their leaders so ardently desire to impose upon us.

One example of this astroturfing that Simpson points out is the Ford Foundation, which has “$13 billion in assets” and “almost singlehandedly created the open borders movement.” Simpson points out that “it funded the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education fund (MALDEF), the National Council of La Raza (NCLR—now called UNIDOS US), the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund (PRLDF—now called LatinoJustice-PRLDF), and has donated heavily to the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and the ACLU. Together these groups shifted the narrative to favor open borders and amnesty. As discussed later, this has been a long-term goal of the Left, to change America by changing its people.”

The Red/Green Axis 3.0 also details how the left and its Muslim allies are advancing their sinister agenda by means of massive, scrupulously organized voter fraud, while Obama- and Biden-appointed judges do everything they can to stymie President Donald Trump’s efforts to restore integrity to our electoral process. Using the Michigan Senate race as a case in point, Simpson states that “while Mike Rogers is confident he can win against [Marxist Muslim Democrat candidate Abdul] El-Sayed, the very fact that Rogers is facing him in the general election ought to give him pause. No one expected [New York City Mayor Zohran] Mamdani to win either, and now it has been discovered that at least 7% of the NYC vote was fraudulent—enough to overturn the election. The voters counted simply do not exist, yet they all voted.”

Then there is what Simpson aptly terms the “media/education/left axis.” One example of its success is the fact that “critical Legal Theory has replaced constitutional law as the narrative in many U.S. law schools, a fact which explains the appearance of so many Leftist jurists and attorneys, including the recent election of radical district attorneys, like Larry Krasner in Philadelphia, George Gascon in LA County and rogue prosecutors in seven other major U.S. cities and many smaller ones.”

This little book contains much, much more in this vein, but it is by no means a manifesto of despair. The Red/Green Axis 3.0 concludes with solid and specific recommendations for what patriots can and must do now to beat back this axis, reclaim our nation, and preserve it as a free republic that upholds equality of rights for all people and the freedom of every individual. These recommendations are alone worth the price of the book, but the analysis of the red/green axis itself is likewise essential.

Above all, Simpson states that “while the Left sees this as a political battle, at its heart, it truly is a spiritual battle.” Indeed. And unless and until American patriots begin to see it that way, this evil alliance will continue to advance.

Judicial Watch Uncovers Anti-Charlie Kirk Emails at Utah University

We obtained 133 pages of records from Utah Valley University (UVU) revealing sharply anti-Charlie Kirk messages from individuals identified as university faculty or instructors in the weeks following Kirk’s assassination on the UVU campus.

Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was killed on September 10, 2025, while kicking off a speaking tour at college campuses.

We received the records through a Utah Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA) request for emails and text messages concerning Kirk involving then-UVU President Astrid S. Tuminez.

The records include a September 22 email apparently written by a UVU instructor to President Tuminez. The writer referred to “students we are trying to educate” and attacked Kirk in stark terms:

Charlie Kirk appealed to the worst of us. He spoke his prejudices openly, not to test free speech, but to shape minds. He targeted impressionable youth, feeding on their fears and anxieties….

The hidden message in his rants was clear: hate is natural, and to resist it is to deny who you are. Hate masquerading as justice is nothing of the sort. True justice seeks fairness, accountability, and protection for all, while hate targets, divides, and destroys….

That is why we must resist any effort to memorialize him or turn him into an icon…. Charlie Kirk did not stand for civility, compassion, or truth. There was nothing civil about him.

[ … ]

To memorialize him would be a grave mistake.

In a November 4, 2025, email a self-described “faculty member” at UVU writes:

I’ve had a hard time dealing with the aftermath of the shooting on our campus, and in particular, I cannot understand how people could support or mourn someone who was so divisive and spewed such vituperation in his “debates.” I regret that he was invited to UVU at all, and wish you had rethought the decision to allow him a forum on our campus.

[ … ]

Also, there has been talk of a memorial to Charlie Kirk that will be placed on the UVU campus. The legislature seems determined to make it happen, and they have enormous power in Utah. I ask you to resist their desire to desecrate our campus with a memorial to such a divisive and hateful public figure. Please do not let it happen. It does not align with our brand of inclusiveness and welcoming. Should a memorial to him be erected on our campus, I fear you will lose many faculty members, including myself.

[ … ]

I would not work at a university that supports Charlie Kirk’s ideals in any way.

The records reveal that just nine days after Kirk was assassinated, a person whose name is redacted was already proposing a $1 million fundraising effort called “Our Better Selves for a Better America.”

I would like to raise $1 million for this proposal. I took the liberty of starting a draft. I’d like a very quick turnaround so I can fundraise quickly. I have one pledge for $100k. I would like to raise the other $900k quickly.

UVU subsequently established “Our Better Selves for a Better America” as a university-wide initiative focused on civil dialogue, disagreement, conflict resolution, and civic responsibility.

The newly released records show that, behind the university’s public appeals for unity and free expression, some members of the UVU faculty were expressing a very negative attitude toward Kirk and his supporters.

Charlie Kirk was assassinated while exercising his right to speak on a college campus. These records reveal that, even as Utah Valley University publicly called for free expression and civil discourse, some faculty members were making hateful and vicious comments about him, objecting to his invitation to campus, and threatening to leave if his memory were honored.

We previously obtained records from Utah Valley University through this same records request detailing the university’s efforts to immediately pave over the site where Kirk was murdered.

FBI Records Reveal Thomas Crooks Behavior before Trump Shooting

Thomas Matthew Crooks, who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump at a July 2024 campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, purchased “a chest rig and ceramic plates,” and exhibited increasingly unusual behavior, including talking to himself, pacing at night, staying awake for extended periods and exhibiting impulsivity issues.

We learned this from 180 pages of heavily redacted Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) records we received through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.

We filed our July 2025 FOIA lawsuit after the FBI failed to respond to a July 2024 request for records concerning Crooks and the assassination attempt (Judicial Watch Inc. v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:25-cv-02216)).

In a July 15, 2024, FD-302 FBI interview report, an individual whose name is redacted wrote:

Thomas purchased ammo online, going from website to website until he found a site that would sell to him. Thomas recently bought a chest rig and ceramic plates. Thomas had recently gotten into rapid action range transition shooting where shooters would enter a timed range and switch between weapons while moving.

[ … ]

As Thomas became older, he started to get more agitated when [Redacted] and [Redacted] asked questions. Thomas talked to himself a lot. After community college he would talk to himself more and more, moving his hands and speaking to himself. This activity kept [Redacted] awake at night as sometimes. Thomas would stay up all night dancing in [redacted]. Thomas seemed to have endless energy.

[ … ]

Thomas was never diagnosed with any mental health disorders as a child, but did have impulsivity issues.

A July 15, 2024, FBI interview report states that Crooks purchased firearms courses from Keystone Shooting Center online, including a basic carbine course beginning May 25, 2024, a basic handgun course beginning June 13, 2024, and an intermediate handgun course beginning June 22, 2024. The courses were purchased using the email address tmcrooks7@gmail.com.

A July 25, 2024, FBI report states that Crooks was seen with two older men at a firearms store. Employees of Keystone Armory in Edinboro, PA, contacted the FBI about Crooks’ May 2024 visit:

The individual believed to be Crooks was accompanied by a white male believed to be around his mid 30s and another older white male with a gray beard, potentially … the individual’s father. The individual believed to be Crooks and the two other males can be seen wandering throughout the firearms store looking at various firearms. The individual believed to be Crooks subsequently purchased 20 rounds of Red Army 7.62x54R 148 gr FMJ and left shortly thereafter.

The store provided the FBI with a receipt of ammunition purchase, a list of the store’s witnesses of the “person of interest” and “video/photo surveillance from outside and inside the business.”

A July 15, 2024, FBI electronic communication titled “Review of Samsung S136 – Web Browser History Indicated Visits to Mailfence.com” describes a review of Crooks’ Android phone including an examination of his web browser history and his use of Mailfence, an encrypted email service based in Belgium. The communication states: “Review of the web browser history of the device revealed the device accessed mailfence.com multiple times from 15 April 2024 to 8 July 2024.”

In a July 15, 2024, electronic communication, the FBI Counterterrorism unit requested assistance from a foreign government concerning information on the Samsung S136 device belonging to Crooks.

A July 21, 2024, FBI report quotes a former Community College of Allegheny County laboratory classmate who said he “tried to get to know Crooks, told him jokes and invited him to go out.” According to the classmate, Crooks was “very self-isolated and kept to himself.”

Crooks seemed to be very smart, and he clearly had the best grades in the class as he was teaching others. However, Crooks had severe social anxiety and would respond to any kind of small talk or social interaction with an aggressive foot tap. He was shy and did not have any friends. Although he would help other laboratory groups, Crooks did not interact with anyone else in the class. He kept to himself.

We were provided with two additional sets of records, available here and here. The latter production contains several law enforcement exemptions under (b)(7)(C), which constitutes an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy, and (b)(7)(E), which discloses investigation techniques.

These records provide important new pieces of the puzzle about Thomas Crooks and his activities before he attempted to assassinate President Trump. The American people deserve to know – in a timely manner – what the FBI knew about Crooks, his activities, his contacts and the circumstances surrounding the assassination attempt.

In June 2026, we forced the release of 48 heavily redacted pages from the FBI through a FOIA lawsuit that indicated that a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) officer at the July 2024 presidential rally for Donald Trump in Butler, PA, recovered a “gray remote device” with an antenna from Crooks’ pocket after he was killed.

In May 2026, we received, in response to a court order, an audio recording of a 911 call placed by the father of Crooks.

In April 2026, our lawsuit forced the release of the first FBI records about the Butler assassination attempt, revealing that law enforcement personnel broadcast radio warnings about an “unknown male acting suspiciously” prior to the shooting.

In April 2026, our FOIA lawsuit forced the release of records from the FBI that showed that Crooks was reportedly involved in an altercation with a group of people and making “hateful comments” directed at President Trump at the Butler, PA, rally.

In August 2024, we uncovered documents from the district attorney’s office in Butler County, PA, detailing the extensive preparation of local police for the rally at which former President Trump was shot. The preparation included sniper teams, counter assault teams and a quick response force.

In August 2024, in response to a separate open records request, we obtained bodycam footage of the July 13 assassination events from the Butler Township Police Department.

Judicial Watch Sues Secret Service for Records on Accidental Gun Discharge

We filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit with the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) seeking records concerning the reported accidental discharge in March 2026 of a Secret Service agent’s service weapon at Philadelphia International Airport while the agent was assigned to former First Lady Jill Biden’s protective detail (Judicial Watch Inc. v. U.S. Department of Homeland Security (Case 1:26-cv-03190)).

We sued after the Secret Service failed to respond to a March 27, 2026, request for records about the reported accidental discharge, including investigative reports, witness statements, photographs, disciplinary records, internal directives, and electronic communications among Protective Operations officials.

A Secret Service agent assigned to former first lady Jill Biden accidentally shot himself in the leg at a Philadelphia airport in March 2026. A Secret Service spokesman called it “a non-life-threatening injury following a negligent discharge while handling a service weapon.”

The spokesman also said that the Secret Service’s Office of Professional Responsibility was going to review “the facts and circumstances of this incident.”

A reported negligent discharge by an armed Secret Service agent assigned to a protective detail at a busy international airport raises serious questions about training, supervision, and accountability.

In May 2026, we sued for records related to the Obama-era 2012 Secret Service prostitution scandal in Cartagena, Colombia.

In April 2026, we sued the Homeland Security for records related to an August 31, 2025, incident in which a club member allegedly carried a loaded semi-automatic handgun past Secret Service screening checkpoints at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia while President Donald Trump was on site.

Also in April, our FOIA lawsuit forced the release of records from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that show that would-be Trump assassin Thomas Crooks was reportedly involved in an altercation with a group of people and making “hateful comments” directed at President Trump at the Butler, PA, rally site before the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt.

In February 2026, our lawsuit forced the release of the first FBI records about the Butler assassination attempt.

In December 2025, we filed a FOIA lawsuit for Secret Service communications records related to Code Pink protesters who disrupted a dinner held by President Donald Trump at a restaurant in Washington, DC, on September 9, 2025.

U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:24-cv-02740)).

Judicial Watch Sues ATF for Records on Oklahoma City Bombing 

We filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for records about former ATF confidential human source Carol Elizabeth Howe, also known as Sarah Collins, whose activities as an ATF confidential source and subsequent testimony raised questions about information available to federal investigators before and after the Oklahoma City bombing (Judicial Watch Inc. v. U.S. Department of Justice (Case 1:26-cv-03189)).

The Oklahoma City bombing occurred in April 1995 at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Official narratives identify Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols as the primary perpetrators.

We sued in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia after the ATF failed to comply with an August 2025 FOIA request for all records related to Howe, including investigative reports and other records documenting or assessing information she provided to the agency. The request also seeks records maintained in the ATF’s Confidential Informant Master Registry and Reporting System (CIMRRS), as well as records of communications of ATF Special Agent Angela Finley-Graham concerning Howe.

Significant ATF records concerning Howe have not yet been made public. Certain records created 25 years or more before the date on which they are requested can no longer be withheld under FOIA.

Howe identified herself as an ATF confidential source during her December 1997 testimony at the trial of Oklahoma City bombing defendant Nichols. Her relationship with the ATF was also addressed in April 1997 testimony by former ATF Special Agent Angela Finley-Graham in (United States v. Viefhaus and Howe). Howe was identified as Confidential Informant 53270-183, or CI-183, and Finley-Graham was identified as her ATF handler.

According to records cited in the FOIA request, Howe was associated with the pseudonyms “Freya” and “Lady MacBeth.” Reports describe Howe as an ATF informant who operated at Elohim City, an Oklahoma compound that was part of the ATF’s investigation of extremist groups. Howe reportedly died in a house fire in January 2025.

Americans have a right to know what the ATF knew about Carol Howe, what information she provided and how federal investigators handled it. These records could shed important light on the ATF’s confidential-source operation and the investigation surrounding the Oklahoma City bombing. The government should stop stonewalling and release the records.

More than 2,000 Terrorists Removed from U.S., Countless More Remain

While the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) celebrates the removal of over 2,000 “Known or Suspected Terrorists (KST)” from the United States, the chilling reality is that there are likely many more dangerous criminal aliens still roaming around neighborhoods throughout the nation. That is because under Biden’s disastrous open border policies over 1.7 million Special Interest Aliens (SIA) from over two dozen countries that DHS determined pose a national security threat to the U.S. entered the country, mostly through the Mexican border. This means that, although it is a decent start and Americans should be grateful that the Trump administration is mitigating the damage of Biden’s policies, a few thousand hardly puts a dent in the problem.

From January 20, 2025, to September 9, 2026, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which operates under DHS, has arrested 2,150 KSTs in the U.S. and deported 2,015, according to an announcement issued this month. Created after the 9/11 terrorist attacks to secure the nation, DHS consists of 22 different federal departments and agencies with over 260,000 employees in areas ranging from border security to emergency response, aviation and cyber security. The goal is to keep America safe, though under Biden the agency seemed to steer away from the mission. A record-breaking 7.6 million illegal aliens entered the country, including hundreds of thousands with serious criminal records and over 1.7 millionSIAs from some 26 nations that pose a security threat, including Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, Syria, and Turkey, China, North Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritania, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Venezuela. Many SIAs—including some on the U.S. terrorist watchlist—were released inside the country under Biden, risking public safety and national security.

A congressional probe revealed that, among the largely unvetted aliens were at least 382 on the U.S. government’s terrorist watchlist who were released into the country. Among them was an illegal alien from Afghanistan, Mohammad Kharwin, arrested by Border Patrol near Imperial Beach, California in early 2023. Federal agents suspected he was on the U.S. terrorist watchlist because information matched a person on the list. Nevertheless, the feds released Kharwin in the U.S. He flew from Istanbul, Turkey to Mexico City, Mexico before traveling to the U.S. border and, despite red flags, ICE placed him on its non-detained docket along with millions of other illegal aliens and instructed him to report to an agency office in Sacramento, California. Around two weeks later, ICE removed Kharwin from its Alternatives to Detention (ATD) program and DHS allowed him to apply for asylum and work authorization and fly domestically. The Afghan national remained free in the United States for about a year until biometric and biographical information positively identified him on the terrorist watchlist and ICE Fugitive Operations arrested him in San Antonio, Texas. Kharwin is reportedly a member of Hezb-e-Islami, a group responsible for attacks in Afghanistan that killed at least nine American soldiers and civilians from 2013 to 2015.

Thankfully, the days of known terrorists being released inside the country are in the past. Among the thousands removed by the Trump administration are Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez, an illegal alien from Mexico, who was arrested in Omaha, Nebraska and charged with being the ringleader of the failed terrorist plot against Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Freedom 250 in June. He entered the U.S. on a B-2 visitor visa and failed to depart before it expired in December 2001. The Obama administration granted him Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) in 2014. Another terrorist removed in the last year is Felipe Linares De Oliveira Del Aquilla, an illegal alien from Brazil and commander of two foreign terrorist organizations (FTO), Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) and Comando Vermelho (CV). Others include Iranians in the U.S. illegally with admitted ties to Hezbollah and a Jordanian terroristconvicted of throwing Molotov cocktails at the homes of Israeli armed forces.

New York Times Shocked That Israelis Still Think Oct. 7 Was, Like, a Bad Thing

The New York Times is upset with Israel — which tells you that today is a day ending with a y. This time, however, it’s not a fictional genocide or an equally fictional occupation that has the Paper of Record in a snit; instead, the Times is upset because the Israelis still think of themselves as the victims of the Oct. 7 jihad attacks that killed 1,200 Israelis. If the Israelis were thinking the way the Times wants them to think, you see, they’d realize that the Palestinian Arabs who attacked them were the real victims.

This is standard establishment media practice. On Sept. 5, I published an article here at PJM called “From Now to the 9/11 Anniversary, Expect Wall-to-Wall ‘Islamophobia’ Coverage,” and if I were that right all of the time, I could make a killing in Vegas. The establishment media’s 9/11 coverage was almost entirely devoted to telling us what a rough time Muslims have had in the U.S. in the last 25 years, and how the rapid growth in Muslim numbers and political power shouldn’t distract us from the fact that they’re the actual victims.

And now the establishment media’s flagship publication is extending the same treatment to Oct. 7. On Sept. 14, the Times published an article about a new piece of anti-Israel propaganda, casting the producers of this propaganda as standing heroically against censorious Israeli officials: “After Accolades Abroad, an Israeli Documentary Faces a Backlash at Home,” with this subtitle: “The film ‘NAZA’ investigates the killing of Palestinians by Israeli forces in Gaza. Israel’s culture minister has suggested revoking the directors’ citizenship.”

That was usual Times fare, but in this paragraph, longtime Times reporter Isabel Kershner went far, far beyond that: “Israelis are deeply divided over how to apportion blame for the policy, military and intelligence failures that preceded the attack and the war. But Israelis still largely view themselves as the victims of Oct. 7. The militants’ attack killed about 1,200 people in Israel, and about 250 more were taken hostage, according to the Israeli authorities. It was the deadliest day in the country’s history.”

Kershner is clearly not intending by this to enter into tinfoil-hat territory. She is obviously not denying that the attack happened. But she apparently wants us to see the murders of those 1,200 people, and the taking hostage of 250 more, as a justifiable response to the alleged Israeli oppression of the Palestinian Arabs, to the degree that the Israelis are no longer the victims of Oct. 7, but the perpetrators of atrocities that were so much greater that Oct. 7 was a justified response.

This is so palpably wide of reality that even the Times, as inveterately hostile to Israel as it is, had to retreat. The offending sentence was neatly excised from the article and thrown down the memory hole, with the rest of the paragraph still in the article exactly as before. The Times was good enough to append an Editors’ Note, dated Wednesday: “Because of an editing error, an earlier version of this article included a statement that was intended to convey Israelis’ perception of the government’s military response to the Oct. 7 terror attack in relation to the attacks, but inadvertently suggested that Israelis’ experience as terror victims was a matter of perception. It has been removed from the article.”

Great, but not good enough. Tamar Sternthal, director of the Media Research & Analysis Department and director of the Israel Office of the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA), wrote: “Wait, what, @nytimes @IKershner? That Israelis are victims of the Oct. 7 massacre is a matter of Israeli *perception*, and not simply fact? If they’re not the Oct. 7 victims, then what are they? The perpetrators?” And: “Can you imagine if @nytimes wrote: ‘Americans still largely view themselves as the victims of Sept. 11’?”

Well, yes, actually, I can quite easily imagine the New York Times trying to convince Americans that they’re not the real victims of 9/11. In fact, on Sept. 11, 2026, the Times ran an article entitled “After 9/11, Islamophobia Shaped a Generation of Muslim New Yorkers,” and another called “Facing Islamophobia, Mamdani Keeps Focus on 9/11 Victims,” which is more than can be said for the Times itself.

So why shouldn’t the Times suggest that Israelis weren’t the real victims of Oct. 7? It’s what the Times does whenever there’s a jihad attack: it focuses on the alleged enormities that drove the poor dears, that is, the jihadis, to violence. The New York Times used to an American newspaper, but those days passed long ago.

Lindsay Clancy Et Al.: Are Women “Children of a Larger Growth”?

“How do you write about women so well?” novelist Melvin Udall was asked in the 1997 film As Good as It Gets. “I think of a man,” he replied, “and I take away reason and accountability.” This comes to mind while pondering the Lindsay Clancy situation. 

Oh, I’m not currently editorializing on whether she had a psychotic break when brutally killing her three little ones. What I find more interesting, as I often do, is a bigger picture. It relates to a line from a letter Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl of Chesterfield, wrote to his son in 1748. To wit:

“Women … are only children of a larger growth…” 

I know, he was a “dead white male” opining when America was still a colony. But here’s the thing: 

This is precisely how many men and women treat females today: as “children of a larger growth.” 

The Clancy drama is illustrative. The default assumption when a man kills his kids is that he’s just evil. No “My hormones made me do it” defense need apply (even though we always hear about the testosterone-aggression link). Fry ’im. But a woman?

Well, she’d ne-e-e-ver do such a thing if in her right mind. Something just must have been wrong with her. In fact, she might’ve even crumbled under the stress a man, or this Patriarchal Society™, put on her! She needs help and compassion—not punishment. 

This is why, as research has shown, women get more lenient punishment than men do for the same crimes. 

In other words, we explicitly and understandably state, and codify in law, that children won’t criminally be held to an adult standard. What isn’t explicitly stated or codified in law, but is just as real, is that we don’t hold women to an adult male standard.

Perhaps there’s a congruence, though, since so many women today behave utterly childishly. Most recently there were multitudinous female groupies who, despite knowing little about Clancy’s case, nonetheless passionately took the killer’s side. They’re likely, too, the type of women we’ve seen before. 

Examples are:

  • the “Kavanope harpies” who hysterically misbehaved during Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings in 2018. They “set women back 100 years,” lamented commentator Megan Fox at the time (oh, if only);
  • the “Shout Your Abortion” movement, which mixes childishness with pure evil;
  • “purple-and-pink-haired”-type, body-pierced female teachers boasting online about indoctrinating children with “gender” ideology; 
  • the female-heavy, college-campus shout-downs of “keep men out of women’s sports” speakers;
  • the women who, distraught over President Trump’s 2024 victory, were screaming en masse at Lake Michigan. (In fairness, Michigan did give its electoral votes to Trump);
  • the pink pu***-hatted “Women’s March” movement; and
  • the heavily female post-Dobbs-leak protests (often at SCOTUS justices’ homes).

Perhaps such behavior isn’t surprising, though, since 2020 research found that 56 percent of young, liberal, white women have been diagnosed with some form of “mental health” problem. (I know—you’re shocked.)

Now, this frightful feminine female folderol is not entirely new. Winston Churchill was physically attacked by insufferable suffragettes in the early 1900s, and Roman statesman Cato the Elder complained about unreasonable women protesting in 195 B.C. Yet this phenomenon has in our time been put on (estrogenic) steroids. 

Thus did the aforementioned Megan Fox write that the anti-Kavanaugh “screeching gorgons’” behavior “has called into serious question their fitness to even participate in any serious matter of state.” Finally inspired to investigate the arguments against giving women the vote, Fox related a passage from a 1912 British parliamentary debate. Viscount Helmsley, she wrote, “nailed it” when saying:

The way in which certain types of women, easily recognised, have acted in the last year or two, especially in the last few weeks, lends a great deal of colour to the argument that the mental equilibrium of the female sex is not as stable as the mental equilibrium of the male sex… It seems to me that this House should remember that if the vote is given to women[,] those who will take the greatest part in politics will not be the quiet, retiring, constitutional women … but those very militant women who have brought so much disgrace and discredit upon their sex. It would introduce a disastrous element into our public life … it is little short of nauseating and disgusting to the whole sex…

Interestingly, this perfectly aligns with Duke’s First Rule of Women in Politics, which relates a sort of Catch-22. That is:

Insofar as women are in politics, they should be moral, traditional women. But traditional women aren’t found in politics. 

They’re at home raising children. 

This is as a general rule—with perhaps the occasional exception proving it—absolutely true. A cursory examination of our female legislators makes this abundantly clear, too. It’s generally abnormal women who enter characteristically masculine fields such as politics (and male politicians are abnormal enough without the gals spiking the abnormality quotient.)

Of course, I’ll be called a knuckle-dragging Neanderthal for writing the above. (Though I suspect those much-maligned Neanderthals knew, ahem, the difference between boys and girls.) But feminists and others thus disposed should check themselves: They don’t believe in “equality” any more than I do. How’s that? 

Commentator Katie El-Diwany noted the hypocrisy in 2018. “There is more than plenty of talk about the dearth of women in science, in engineering, in upper management positions, and as CEOs,” she wrote. “But there is no one asking: where are all the female garbage-collectors, the female elevator technicians, the female landscape laborers, the female oil rig workers?” 

“All of this reveals that feminist clamoring for ‘equal representation’ is not about equality at all,” El-Diwany concluded. “It is about power and prestige.” 

No question. Feminists (and their enablers) will complain about how there aren’t enough actresses playing leading-role heroines and fighting on film. Yet they never demand equal treatment in, oh, let’s say, what could lead to real combat: being subject to the draft. (And even once in the military, women’s roles aren’t as dangerous on average.)

In contrast, there was congruence in pre-suffrage days: Women weren’t required to go to war—but they also couldn’t vote for politicians who might plunge us into a war. They had less responsibility because they had less authority. 

Now they have equal (and perhaps greater?) authority, but still lesser responsibility—inclusive of not having to fight, bleed and die for the nation when situationally necessary. Can anyone honestly say he believes in equality while perpetuating this double standard? 

Then there are all those aghast at seeing “trans” males entering females’ sports. I take a back seat to no one on this. I was inveighing against the “trans” agenda back in 2009 (and was criticized for it at the time by conservatives). Still, it’s hard being enthusiastic because, well, feminists are just being hoist with their own petard. 

Anyone remember when they demanded access to males’ sports (e.g., boys’ wrestling teams) and other male spaces? In fact, even while shouts of “Girls spaces are for girls!” are registered, girls are still cheered when entering “boys’” spaces. This is all while touting “Equality!”—and people barely notice the contradiction. 

This reflects how so many tacitly align themselves with Lord Chesterfield’s belief. Women today are not only treated like children, but spoiled, coddled, pandered to children. Feminists want equal authority without the ultimate responsibility. They get it. They want girls’ sports for girls and, when convenient, “boys’” sports for girls, too. They get it. They want barriers they dislike ripped down and barriers benefiting them retained. They get it. 

I would say “Make up your mind”; I would say, “You can’t have it both ways.” Except there’s this:

I know they can. 

Feminists have had it both ways for at least a century and, in reality, it likely won’t end until and unless our civilization does—and then reboots. 

After all, let’s face it: In America today children are a most favored class.

9/11 25 Years Later

The founders of America said our rights come from God. That is what we have celebrated recently with America at 250.

But there is a very different understanding of who God is between Christianity, the worldview held by the founding fathers, and radical Islam. As the whole world saw 25 years ago, when nearly 3,000 people were killed. 

By way of review, on September 11, 2001, 19 Muslim men hijacked four airplanes filled with passengers. They managed to fly two of them into the World Trade Center in New York City — bringing down those magnificent towers. A third plane crashed into the side of the Pentagon outside of Washington, D.C.

And the fourth hijacked plane was also on its way to Washington, but because the flight was providentially delayed, and because passengers aboard heard about the other three hijackings, they decided to fight back. This caused the plane to crash into an empty field in Pennsylvania.

Scholars note that the motivation of the 19 hijackers was what they understood to be rewards in the next life. They died as jihadist “martyrs” to their cause.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning book, The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11 by Lawrence Wright, observes, “Martyrdom promised such young men an ideal alternative to a life that was so sparing in its rewards. A glorious death beckoned to the sinner, who would be forgiven, it is said, with the first spurt of blood, and he would behold his place in Paradise even before his death. … Martyrdom offers the conjugal pleasures of seventy-two virgins.” (p. 123).

Lately, we have seen the rise of influence of Islamists in our culture. Islamist and socialist Hasan Piker is a pal of Michigan Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, Abdul El-Sayed. Piker has a lot of influence among many young people on the left—he reportedly has 3 million followers. Piker says America deserved 9/11.

He’s not the only one. Democratic Socialist Candidate Melot Kiros, running for the U.S. Congress in the Denver area, basically said the United States deserved what happened to us that fateful Tuesday a quarter of a century ago.

Meanwhile, the media often downplays the Islamic angle to 9/11. But, in contrast, scholars note that the Qur’an teaches the faithful Muslim should “Fight those who do not believe in Allah” (Surah 9:29). 

Recently, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation said that they would not allow people to call 9/11 a “terrorist” attack. But the hue and outcry caused them to reverse course, only for the case of  9/11.

One of the lessons the West seems not to have learned in these 25 years is to recognize that there is a vibrant strand within Islam that is committed to violent Jihad. No whitewashing can wish this away. 

Post 9/11, one study found a 31% increase in mosques in the United States, just from 2010 to 2020. 

We cherish religious freedom in America, and well we should. But we don’t welcome those who would kill to advance their faith. Of course, there are virtually no churches in Islamic countries.

One of my favorite books on the subject is Robert Spencer’s The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades). Spencer runs the site jihadwatch.org. 

He once told me the ultimate goal of Jihad is to force upon the world strict Islamic rule: “The imposition of sharia is the goal of jihad. Jihad is fought in order to bring sharia to a land where it is not enforced today. Sharia is Islamic law. Islamic law is considered to be, by Muslims, the law of god, just as much as Christians understand the Ten Commandments to be the Law of God.”  

Thankfully, not every Muslim buys into the radical Jihad vision. Dr. Zhudi Jasser is the author of A Battle for the Soul of Islam and the president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy. He once told Coral Ridge Ministries-Television, “The root cause, I believe, as a Muslim, is the ideology of Islamism. The ideology of wanting to create Islamic states that are supremacist; that believe there should be an Islamic law and government. That no other legal system takes precedence” 

But if we don’t realize that? Says Jasser, “I think we are going to continue chasing our tails domestically and globally for the next many generations to come.” 

Earlier we mentioned Lawrence Wright, author of The Looming Tower. Here is what Wright wrote about the ultimate architect of 9/11, Osama bin Laden, who said, “This is jihad! … This is the way we want to go to heaven!” 

9/11 presents a very different vision of America’s founders, like George Washington, who said in his Circular to the States (1783), we can never hope to be a happy nation unless we imitate “the divine Author of our blessed religion” (Jesus). What a contrast.

Sheridan Gorman, 18, was killed by an illegal immigrant in Chicago in March 2026. Her parents are now telling her story in hopes of preventing another preventable death.

Jose Medina, a Venezuelan national, crossed the Texas border in 2023, and instead of being deported, he was transported to a sanctuary city, Chicago. After being apprehended and released twice without appearing in court, Medina shot and killed Gorman, 18, in the back as she ran from him on a pier near Loyola University.

“She had told me the night before that they were gonna go out as soon as it was a nice, clear night. They were waiting to see if they could see the northern lights at the end of the pier, which they’d done millions of times before,” Jessica Gorman, Sheridan’s mother, says in the new documentary, “Preventable: How the System Failed Sheridan Gorman,”

“They’d all gone down there so they could take pictures. She wanted to be the first person at the end of the pier to get her picture taken with the night sky. And she saw the man. He had a gun out. She turned. And she told her friends, ‘There’s a man with a gun. Run. And they all started running. And Sheridan turned and ran,” Jessica Gorman continued.

“And he shot her in the back.”

In “Preventable,” the Gorman family sits down with Lora Ries, director of the Border Security and Immigration Center at The Heritage Foundation.

“He shouldn’t have been here, he shouldn’t have been in the U.S., he shouldn’t have been in Chicago, and he shouldn’t have been on the pier,” Ries says. “It’s a parent’s worst nightmare to have to bury their child. But that nightmare is made infinitely worse when the parent learns their child’s death was preventable.”

The sanctuary policies in Chicago prevent law enforcement from communicating with federal immigration agents. So, when criminals are arrested by local police, Department of Homeland Security agents are often not notified.

“I think most people think of a sanctuary city as just a safe place where illegal aliens can live without fear of being deported,” Ries continued. “But what they ignore are American citizens in those communities, and lawful immigrants, and the effects that they suffer from protecting criminal aliens,” she said.

“We’re going to get justice for our daughter by speaking out against these policies to ensure that this does not happen again and does not happen to their family,” Thomas Gorman said.

“Our only goal is to make sure this doesn’t happen to another family, another innocent American citizen,” Jessica Gorman added.

The family shared that they never thought this would be a political fight. They thought America would rally around their story and realize the harm sanctuary policies had caused. However, that has not been the case.

The documentary, produced by The Heritage Foundation, calls on the Trump administration to heighten border security and deport more illegal immigrants.

“Thus far, the Trump administration has been using a ‘worst of the worst’ policy to prioritize who they deport. But frankly, that’s not enough,” says Ries. “Worst of the worst gets you deportable aliens who committed additional crimes, but you don’t know when one of those deportable aliens is going to commit an additional crime. And Americans shouldn’t have to wait for additional crimes to be committed for such aliens to suddenly become a priority for deportation,” she concluded.
