RESISTANCE AND REBELLION IN THE UK – Who and Where are the Lions of Tarshish?

(These are my views as a woman living in England, on how the culture and spirit of my country has changed over 50 years.  Why the country does not feel protected or strong any more, how it has lost, and is losing it values and decency, and how we are daily losing our free speech.)

“Surely the coastlands shall wait for Me; And the ships of Tarshish will come first.  To bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, To the name of the Lord your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, Because He has glorified you.” (Isaiah 60:9)

Trafalgar Square is a large open pedestrianized area in London known as a site for its many celebrations.   It is also deemed to be a centre of national democracy and protest.  At weekends, demonstrations and rallies are often held there on many different political, general, and religious issues.

For tourists to London, Trafalgar Square is also well known for being the site of Nelson’s column, which is a five-metre-high column holding the statue of Lord Admiral Nelson who died on HMS Victory, off Cape Trafalgar, Spain in 1805 during the Napoleonic Wars.

There are also four very large bronze lions which are 20ft in length and 20 feet high, symbolizing protection around the base of the column.   Tourists often have their photographs taken there.   There is a legend that if Big Ben, a well-known clock in London strikes 13, the bronze lions will become alive.  However, Big Ben was ‘silenced’ a few years ago whilst it undergoes some restoration!

Lions also feature heavily in the symbolism of our British identity.   In spiritual terms lions, of course, are also seen as predators as well as protectors.   The lion is the biblical emblem of the tribe of Judah and later the Kingdom of Judah.  It is also the symbol of the capital city of Jerusalem.   It also represents the resurrection of Jesus, with Christ as King.

Lions are known to sleep with their eyes open.

Is the Lion Awakening?

On Saturday 29, August 2020 a demonstration was held in Trafalgar Square against the mandates which have been made by the UK Government under Covid 19 and the vote now being made for a 2-year extension of their powers.    Organized by Piers Corbyn, brother of former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, the demonstration was entitled ‘Unite for Freedom’.   The event attracted thousands of supporters from across the UK. Speakers included world class doctors and nurses, including Professor Dolores Cahil, Dr Andrew Kaufman, Dr Adil Senator, Dr Scott Jenson, Dr Sherri Tenpenny, Dr Eric Nepute, Dr Mikael Norway, Kate Shemirani, and Dr Kevin Corbet, and many others.   It was very encouraging to hear respected doctors, questioning the statistics which have been recorded in relation to Covid deaths.

However, the most rousing and inspirational speech was perhaps delivered by David Icke who has a large underground following in the UK.   He emphasised we are dealing with a virus of Fascism. Labelled a conspiracy theorist for many years, he has, however, painstakingly and relentlessly warned people around the world of a group of elitists, that are evil by nature, and who are purposefully orchestrating events around the globe in order to create a One World Order, with total control over every human being.    He has provided excellent research and evidence to support the claims and has a metaphysical view on the human states of reality and freedom.   In his speech, he mockingly gave credit to Covid 19 for being the perfect alibi for every loss of freedom which we have recently endured.

Over 25 years ago, I happened to listen to David Icke at a small conference which I attended and recall him listing the process whereby a cashless society would be bought into existence.   His warnings have always remained with me as step by step I have witnessed those plans being put into place over many years culminating in what we are experiencing today with the promotion of the cashless society.

Whilst David Icke’s speech was really inspirational and had had world-wide coverage, there were, however, certain key notes in his words which ideally should have been delivered  from  someone with a biblical point of view, most especially when I heard him shout “The Lion Sleeps No More” which also makes reference to the title of one of his many books.

His battle cry of “”Human race – get off your knees”,  made me wonder if the Lions of Tarshish and her cubs, who are referenced in the Bible and could possibly be the UK and Commonwealth countries, including the USA and Australia, were the ones who were prophesized to restore Christian morals and rise up once more to fight the tyranny which has been under-valuing and destroying  its core principles.    Certainly, if Lions were to rise today,  a pre-cursor to that requirement would have be our separation from the EU and an independent support towards ‘Israel’.

Search and Rescue

Sadly, but with the exception of 25 Christian leaders who have recently invoked the Magna Carta to sue the government over church lockdowns (some churches in the UK, still remain closed until 2021) there sometimes appears to be only a handful  of Christian voices in the UK speaking out in regards to the take-over of freedoms under Covid 19, in contrast to secular voices which are loudly crying out for Freedom right now.   The 25 leaders which include Dr David Hathaway and Dr Gavin Ashenden who was former chaplain to the queen may have argued that the compulsory lockdown of all churches breached the first clause of the Magna Carta, where King John  “granted to God, and by this our present Charter have confirmed, for Us and our Heirs forever, that the Church of England shall be free, and shall have all her whole Rights and Liberties inviolable”.  It also breached Article 9 of the European Convention of Human Rights which secures freedom

Rev. Ade Omooba who is the co-founder of an organization called Christian Concern in the UK led the group.  Christian Concern have painstakingly fought most of our battles in relation to laws being passed which go against Christian principles; and over many years they are the organization who have challenged laws being made in relation to protecting human life and defending people from their oppressors.

However, warnings from the church have seldom been publicly heard, and the desperate silent voices of many people who are crying out to hear someone make sense of the current Covid confusion, are therefore finding comfort elsewhere.

To date, there has been no mention of God from our Government.  No call to public prayer or repentance in order to bless a nation of her faults, or any public message of hope or comfort from the main leadership of The Church of England.    People are turning to the most unlikely of figures for a sense of unity in a world of division in the UK in relation to the oppression they are experiencing.

With voices being silenced from singing in church together with mandatory mask wearing for church goers, the conformity and the absence of any enthusiasm or bravery towards this oppression from most churches, whilst in the same areas there are open restaurants, café’s and pubs, unfortunately denotes a certain weakness which is not inspiring.   Yesterday I passed a church with its doors still firmly closed.    On the opposite corner was a pub with people sitting outside enjoying a pint singing along to the music which was blaring from inside.

Many people, including myself, have been therefore encouraged recently by a  few unlikely British voices which includes the actor Laurence Fox who  has bravely spoken up  after being accused of being a white privileged male,  Dr Vernon Coleman, who from his armchair amusingly recites what we are all  thinking in regards to the handlings of our government of Covid 19,  Katie Hopkins, Douglas Murray, Lord Sumpton, Peter Hitchens, Tommy Robinson and his bravery for  relentlessly speaking out against child grooming gangs, Brian Gerrish of UK Column who presents a political analysis of events in the UK, and others  who fight against our loss  of freedoms.  We also look across to the USA and still gain great encouragement from a country who are not afraid to acknowledge the love for its country and the authority of God in their lives and nation.

Ironically, whilst the UK has been complying with Covid 19 rules, there has been a great uproar about the BBC banning the lyrics from “Rule Britannia” and “Land of Hope and Glory” being sung in its coverage of The Last Night of the Proms which is an 8 week classical concert held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.  Explanations have been various from appeasing Black Lives Matter to the Covid 19 regulations of singing in a closed environment?

The BBC appears to have now changed its decision because of the outcry and now we will be treated to their renditions.   18 socially distanced BBC singers will now sing the anthems!

It appears the UK will vehemently defend the right to sing about not being slaves whilst acting like slaves and churchgoers want to sing Onward Christian Soldiers but not act like soldiers.   We are a very funny lot.

Therefore, who and where are the Lions of Tarshish?   There are many conflicting and various assumptions ‘out there’

Inwardly, we are all in a spiritual battle for our lives.   Enlist now, keep watch, be courageous, stay hopeful, stay awake and sleep no more.   Remember:

Radical Leftist Democrat Coup Attempt #5: Election Fraud

The radical leftist 2020 Democrat tactical political operating principle is, “If at first you don’t succeed, try try again.” The problem, of course, is that for deranged Democrats, that means lying, cheating, and stealing. Let me explain.

The first Democrat coup attempt against duly elected President Donald J. Trump was Spygate – the Obama administration’s false Russia collusion narrative. Coup attempt #1 did not succeed.

The next try was the equally fraudulent narrative that accused President Trump of Ukrainian quid pro quo. Coup attempt #2 did not succeed.

The Ukraine deceit was followed by the third coup attempt – the spectacle of an illegitimate impeachment used as a political weapon to remove President Trump from office. Coup attempt #3 did not work.

Then the communist Chinese got into the act and unleashed the fourth coup attempt against President Trump – the economic bioweapon named COVID19. Even that loathsome coup attempt was not successful.

What were the increasingly desperate, deranged Democrats and their globalist handlers supposed to do?

Voter fraud – of course!!

The fifth and arguably most egregious coup attempt against President Donald Trump is the current campaign to steal the election from him by declaring Trump’s predicted landslide victory in November illegitimate. ILLEGITIMATE???

Yes. Democrats are deliberately prolonging COVID lockdowns to provide the excuse that voters cannot get to the polls and, therefore, require mail-in ballots. The desperate Democrats plan to mail ballots to anyone living in the United States including registered and non-registered voters, dead or alive, citizens and illegal aliens, and people who have moved away and are voting in other states. This will overwhelm the post office with ballots and delay the official ballot count. You get the picture. The Democrat strategy is to delegitimize Trump’s anticipated massive electoral and popular victory in November.

Can’t they just field an electable candidate? No, they can’t because the radical leftist 2020 Democrat party platform is so unacceptably anti-American, anti-Christian, antisemitic, and anti-family, that the only way they can possibly win is to cheat. The singular benefit of the prolonged Covid lockdowns is that they have provided the American public the opportunity to experience life under radical leftist Democrat rule – and they don’t like it.

Of course the Democrats are aware that demented Beijing Joe Biden is not an electable candidate – he can barely string two sentences together. He cannot hide in his basement forever. Beijing Joe’s running mate, radical leftist Kamala Harris is not electable either. So, what is their alternative? Cheat, of course.

Instead of fielding an electable candidate, the deranged Democrats plan to delegitimize President Trump’s win and install House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as acting president until everything is sorted out. Has the United States descended into a third world nation? The Democrats think so. They believe they can steal power by stealing the election. Their “ends justifies the means” mentality is the foundation of every tyrannical regime on the face of the planet. Voter beware!

If Joe Biden steals this election the United States of America will cease to exist as we know it. The radical leftist Democrats currently dominating the party will collapse the economy and turn our constitutional republic into socialism. But wait – there’s more!

The noisy radical leftist Democrats are the useful idiots of the globalist handlers who finance their campaigns. Once the Democrats have stolen power, the radicals are dispensable and a liability that will be eliminated. Then the globalists will have to duke it out with communist China to see who will dominate the United States of America. Will it be door number 1: the Western globalists and technocrats? Or will it be door number 2: the Communist Chinese?

In either case, our national sovereignty will be surrendered to planetary governance under the auspices of the entirely corrupt United Nations and its Agenda 2030.

The inscrutable Chinese are not so inscrutable. They fully expect to dominate and rule the world by the 100th anniversary of the communist revolution in 2045. Are you surprised? Don’t be. The will to power has always been part of the human experience. The difference now is that cyberspace has made the world a much smaller place.

The fourth coup attempt was an attack on the middle class. The prolonged lockdowns were designed to create chaos, collapse the middle class, and drive the entire population into permanent cradle-to-grave dependence upon the government – socialism. Here is the problem. Socialism is the stepping stone to communism. Total centralized government is communism, and there is no individual freedom in centralized governance whether it is communist Chinese or the planetary governance of globalism’s UN Agenda 2030.

Americans have been lulled to sleep by a false sense of security. It is time for the sleeping giant to awaken. Those on the left need to understand that there is no place for agitators in the New World Order of planetary government. You think you are resisting?? Think again. You are creating the social chaos required for the globalists to enslave you.

A one-world government under the auspices of the corrupt United Nations is a binary socio-political structure. There is the extremely wealthy political elite at the top, and the enslaved population who serve them at the bottom. Nothing exists in between. There is no middle class and no upward mobility in the feudal structure radical leftists are unwittingly helping to create.

Against all odds, President Donald Trump survived the first four deceitful coup attempts against him. Do not let the enemies of America steal this election because it is not about one man. This election is about the sovereignty and future of the United States of America. The enemies of America will do anything and everything to defeat the existential enemy of globalism. President Trump is the unflinching obstacle to their megalomania and unquenchable will to power.

Vote for freedom in November. Do not let the fifth coup attempt against our duly elected president succeed.

President Donald J. Trump Endorses ‘Big Dan’ Rodimer for Congress

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Republican nominee for Nevada’s 3rd congressional district Dan Rodimer has received the endorsement of President Donald Trump. In 2016, the President won Nevada’s 3rd Congressional district by 2.4 percentage points and his endorsement is seen as a boost to the Rodimer campaign as they face off against incumbent Congresswoman Susie Lee (D-NV) in the November election.

On Saturday, August 29, Trump exclaimed on Twitter, “Dan has my Complete and Total Endorsement. We need Dan in Washington!” and attached a tweet about Rodimer.

On Monday, August 31, the President repeated on a tele-townhall that the Dan Rodimer campaign has “done a fantastic job of fighting, he’s gonna fight, he’s gonna win. I think you’re gonna have a big success. I think you’re gonna have a really great, great success.”

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of President Trump,” Rodimer responded. “President Trump ran as a political outsider, a businessman, and somebody who would push an America-first agenda. On all of those promises, and many more, he delivered. And now, he is helping rebuild our nation’s economy again following the harmful effect of the COVID pandemic. I look forward to winning this campaign, and helping the President win not only this district once again, but winning the state, so I can join the President in helping rebuild our economy and restore our freedoms.”

“I’m running for office to serve the people of Nevada, not myself and my family,” Rodimer continued. “When the first CARES Act came before Congress after our economy initially shut down and Nevadans lost their jobs and their businesses, Susie Lee was on vacation and took her time getting back to Washington. Then, when she returned, she went to work to pad her bottom line, rather than to look out for ordinary Nevadans. I will always put Nevadans first, and I will always be transparent in how I conduct myself in Congress.”

Rodimer is running against freshman Democrat Susie Lee, who the NRCC has named one of the most scandal plagued politicians in Congress. Lee is currently under investigation from public watchdog and ethics groups for allegedly inappropriately lobbying for her family’s business to receive $5.6 million in taxpayer-funded PPP loans, even when her family business was laying off scores of Nevada workers.

The Rodimer campaign recently reported an increase of more than 10,000 individual donors since the primary election in June and frequently touts their strong grassroots support in the district as the reason they will win.

Dan Rodimer is a former WWE professional wrestler, Ave Marie law school graduate, and small businessman. He is married to his wife Sarah. They have five children together with another on the way.

BOOK REVIEW: Black History 1619-2019 — An Illustrated and Documented African-American History

Black History 1619-2019: The Illustrated and Documented African-American History is a must read for all Americans who choose to replace the distorted myths and recapture eradicated facts. It is an informative and fascinating journey through 400 years of African American history.

There is no greater sin against society than historical revisionism. Reinterpreting historic events with false evidence corrupts the moral findings historians recorded as positive forces, and turns facts into fictitious fables.

Once a year, we re-visit Black history and feature the lives of Frederick Douglass, Charles Drew, and Harriet Tubman, as well as other symbolic leaders, thinkers, scientists, patriots and forgotten American Black heroes. But one month is not long enough to pay tribute to so many who did so much. Also, the true politics of slavery and segregation are not revealed. This book details the complete story.

The book begins with Chapter 1, Colonial Domestic Slave Trade (1619–1775), and ends with Chapter 14, Post-Civil Rights Movement (1967–2019). Each chapter is dedicated to revealing the truth, correcting misrepresentations, and literally changing perspectives about black history in America.

The strength of this book is its multifaceted use of original illustrations and photographs; Census Bureau records; court records; newspaper accounts; political cartoons; biographies; contemporaneous testimonials in letters and interviews; party platforms; and Congressional records, including speeches made by 19th century black legislators.

The contributions of Black Americans to our nation and the political dynamics that restricted their socio-economic mobility can’t be found in traditional text books or from tidbits of information on social media. The only way to learn true Black history is from the anthologies of scholars dedicated to accuracy.

The authors did their homework in this well researched and documented account of Black America. They dispel the myth that slavery was an institution of our founding fathers, but instead, was brought to the colonies by the British. They document the fact that most founders abhorred slavery and Thomas Jefferson mentioned this as a major complaint in our Declaration of Independence. This is also the first ex post-antebellum rendering to feature the key rolls of devoted Black patriots before, during, and after our Revolution.

The book details our founders’ inability to outlaw slavery at the Continental Convention in 1787 since they needed the South to support the Constitution and the compromises they had to make. They explain about how the Three fifths Compromise made the South recognize the slaves as men, not property. We are enlightened about who impeded Black America’s progress and who always fought for it; and who continues to do so today.

Carter G. Woodson, the father of Black History Month, is quoted in the book’s prologue:

“Those who have no record of what their forebears have accomplished lose the inspiration which comes from the teaching of biography and history.” – Carter G. Woodson

This book is a historically significant effort to correct the myths about Black history.  It’s a must read for Black America and a necessity for all Americans.

Every night for over 100 days, the entire American (and international) public has seen the criminals of Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa getting away not only with arson and theft and assault and harassment, but murder.

While this or that reporter stands directly in front of a government building or independent black- or white-owned business that has been set on fire, with flames soaring into the sky, and the sound of gunfire causes that reporter to flinch, duck, or run for cover, he or she insanely and steadfastly maintains that We the People––the highly intelligent American public––are not seeing what is right before our eyes!

When the leftist media tell us that the “protests” we’re seeing in dozens of Democrat-run cities throughout our country are “peaceful,” do these media lackeys really think we’re that stupid…or blind?

Every day and night for all these months, we’ve seen these bought-and-paid-for leftist media whores try to convince us that up is down, black is white, bad is good. Just a small sample of these electronic and print media fakes include:

You can look at billions of leftist-generated e-mails, millions of Tweets, and multi-thousands of Letters to the editors of newspapers across the country––both in print and online––and find not one message of objection, disgust or fear about this escalating domestic-terrorism crime wave.

The only conclusion any sentient person can draw is that these Biden supporters approve of this violent criminal behavior, somehow believing that if enough chaos takes place, Americans will vote for the guy who promises to end it, ole basement Joe himself.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?

We all know that liberals love children. How much they lament the cages that illegal immigrant children were put in after they were constructed by the Obama-Biden regime.

How much they bemoan the multimillions of lives lost because of their belief––and legislation––in the extreme importance of routine abortion, mid-term abortion, late-term abortion, and post-birth abortions in which the lives of vibrant, living, fully-developed babies are, ahem, terminated.

How much they regret the disproportionate lives of aborted black babies in the Planned Parenthood centers they’ve purposely and disproportionately place in black neighborhoods.

And so it follows that these leftists––in their demonstrated respect for life––would teach their own children and grandchildren that if they don’t like someone’s opinion or style or philosophy, it’s perfectly acceptable to:

  • Light that person’s car on fire,
  • Punch that woman in the face and knock out her teeth and then throw her to the ground,
  • Smash the windows of this guy’s homegrown business and steal all his goods,
  • Blind that offender with a laser beam, or…
  • Shoot him or her dead.

Indeed, this is what leftists are teaching their children and grandchildren by their unmistakable approval, indeed embrace, of the violence by BLM and Antifa over the past several months––a crime for which all of them should be indicted!

WE DON’T WANT NO SOLUTIONS!

President Trump has offered immediate help to all the mayors of the Democrat-run cities in which this violence is taking place, but following orders from the moneybags who are funding this mayhem, they refuse his offers, leaving the citizens they’ve taken an oath to protect in abject fear.

What a preview of our country if a Democrat is even voted for dogcatcher, much less president!

The state of Minnesota has been devastated by Democrat Party rule. In fact, the city of Minneapolis was destroyed by Antifa and BLM, as the Leftist Democrat Party mayor sat back and let it happen. In addition, the state is home to some of the most radical politicians in the United States, such as Betty McCollum, Ilhan Omar, and Keith Ellison. It is up to the people of Minnesota to send a message that this radicalism will not be tolerated. Handing Minnesota to President Trump in November would be a great start.

Jason Lewis, the GOP senate candidate in Minnesota, said Saturday he believed the state may flip red in 2020 in favor of President Donald Trump due the state’s mishandling of the coronavirus and the riots that continue in Democrat-run cities.

Lewis made the comments on “Fox & Friends Weekend,” arguing the North Star state is “sort of a microcosm of the entire country.”

“As the urban liberals become a little bit more crazy, it drives everybody else into Trump country and red country,” Lewis said, according to Fox News.

Lewis added that he believes Trump has the momentum in the state heading into the election, which is less than two months away.

“And especially so since Donald Trump has done the most important thing he could for the GOP, and he’s brought the working man and woman back to the party,” he told the network.

“I think we are going to win, and I think the president is going to win,” Lewis added.

Fox reported that Real Clear Politics moved Lewis’ senate race against Sen. Tina Smith (D-MN) from “leaning Democrat” to “toss-up.” The Cook Political Report still labels Smith’s seat as “solid Democrat.”

Lewis is a former congressman from Minnesota who also hosts a radio program.

Kamala Harris: Profile of A Fake African-American

Even though she identifies herself as an African-American, Democrat Senator Kamala Harris from California has zero connection to Black Americans whose African ancestors were slaves in America.

Her mother, Shyamala Galan Harris, is from India and her father, Donald Harris, is from Jamaica.

Both parents emigrated to the U.S. in the early 1960s and Kamala who has a younger sister, Maya, was born in 1964.

After Kamala’s parents divorced, her mother moved to Montreal, Canada with her two daughters and took them to worship in Hindu temples.

In 1990, Harris got a law degree from the the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

While serving as District Attorney of the City and County of San Francisco, starting in 2003, she had an affair with the then-married Willie Brown who was the Speaker of the California State Assembly.

Kamala Harris’s Ancestors Were Slave Owners

Rogan O’Handley noted in a tweet “Democrats will tear down statues of slave owners, but nominate the descendant of one of Jamaica’s biggest slave owners for Vice President.”

Dinesh D’Souza stated “Kamala Harris is directly descended from one of the largest slaveowners in Jamaica, Hamilton Brown—there is a even a town named after him, Brown Town. So doesn’t it follow she’s a beneficiary, not a victim, of slavery?”

As is revealed in the below article “Kamala Harris has a troublesome family history” she is descended from the 19th-century Irish slave owner Hamilton Brown, the namesake of Brown’s Town in Jamaica, who recruited massive numbers of Irish migrants to Jamaica to work on his sugar plantations after the British Empire abolished slavery.

The article that was written during the primaries includes information about how the Harris family’s slave-holding history is confirmed by her father, Donald J. Harris an economics professor at Stanford University who is the son of an English white man, Joseph Alexander Harris.

Kamala Harris has a troublesome family history

Sen. Kamala Harris’ (D-CA) 2020 Democratic presidential campaign has, among other things, pushed for reparations for descendants of slaves, but according to a February report by PJ Media, her family used to own slaves on their plantation in Jamaica.

The story: Donald Harris, Kamala’s father, wrote the following in a lengthy essay for Jamaica Global Online in January of his family’s history:

“My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown, descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown’s Town) and to my maternal grandmother Miss Iris (née Iris Finegan, farmer and educator, from Aenon Town and Inverness, ancestry unknown to me). The Harris name comes from my paternal grandfather Joseph Alexander Harris, land-owner and agricultural “produce” exporter (mostly pimento or all-spice), who died in 1939 one year after I was born and is buried in the church yard of the magnificent Anglican Church which Hamilton Brown built in Brown’s Town (and where, as a child, I learned the catechism, was baptized and confirmed, and served as an acolyte).”

The California Senator has also advocated for the legalization of marijuana, and in February she suggested that she and Jamaicans were generally known as big pot smokers. Her father voiced his distress over her remarks.

“My dear departed grandmothers(whose extraordinary legacy I described in a recent essay on this website), as well as my deceased parents , must be turning in their grave right now to see their family’s name, reputation and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker and in the pursuit of identity politics. Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty.”

My latest in PJ Media, written before they did it again in New York City:

Well, at least now we know where everyone stands. Journalist Andy Ngo reported that last Wednesday night, “around 700 black bloc militants and their supporters rampaged through Oakland, Cal. They chanted ‘death to America’ while starting fires and smashing cars and buildings.” The week before that, according to Townhall’s Julio Rosas, “An American flag was just burned outside the Kenosha County Courthouse. One woman screams, ‘Death to America!’ and kicks the fence.”

Understandably, this has delighted some Iranians. Iranian Ayatollah Lotfollah Dezhkam, Supreme Leader Khamenei’s representative in Iran’s Fars province, stated in a Friday sermon: “The shout of the Iranian nation [is] being heard from the mouths of the Americans themselves: Death to America!”

Dezhkam gloated over what he believed were signs of the imminent demise of the United States: “The entire world has seen with its very eyes that today, America cannot be the main decision-maker when it comes to strategic matters in the world. We are unequivocally informing the American administration, Republicans and Democrats alike: If you’ve shut your ears with cotton balls, remove them [so you can hear]. The sound of America being shattered and of its collapse, is being heard all over the world. The shout of the Iranian nation, which has been leading the fight against America for 40 years, is being heard from mouths of the Americans themselves: Death to America!”…

If we are going to restore some semblance of peace and sanity to the republic, we must make a thorough housecleaning of the educational system from top to bottom, so that students learn what is great about America, not just about what is evil or what the Left represents as being evil.

It won’t be easy. Rating America’s Presidents: An America-First Look at Who Is Best, Who Is Overrated, and Who Was An Absolute Disaster is one small attempt to begin to do this, to restore historical study to a sane, accurate, patriotic basis. If we do not now study and learn what once made America great, we will have no opportunity to make it great again.

Will Our Votes Be Counted?

How big of a concern is mail-in voter fraud in the November election? In a CNN interview yesterday, U.S. Attorney General William Barr pointed out the very serious problems with proposed state-wide, or “universal” mail-in ballot systems because of the pandemic: “We are playing with fire.”

Just how big of a fire? As FRC’s second episode of Pray Vote Stand 2020 made clear, not only is the potential for voter fraud massive in a proposed state-wide mail-in scenario, but voter fraud has already happened time and time again in past elections.

The Left likes to say that voter fraud is a “myth,” but the facts beg to differ. The Heritage Foundation has tracked 1,296 cases of voter fraud in the last four years, which they say is almost certainly not all of them. In the last four national elections, 28 million mail-in ballots went missing. How big of an impact could this have? Consider this: the last presidential election was decided by less than 80,000 votes across a handful of states. In addition, things have gotten so bad with inaccurate mail-in voter lists that dogs and cats are now receiving mail-in ballots.

Right now, there are only four states that have used the state-wide mail-in ballot method, but because of the pandemic, more states are considering using this method, which is ripe for fraud. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton knows all about this type of fraud happening in his home state. “Two thirds of voter fraud cases deal with mail-in ballot fraud,” he said during the webcast. “We know for a fact that mail-in ballots create a higher risk of fraud and do go at the credibility of elections.” As one woman in Hawaii pointed out during the webcast, there is also the problem of people like her who have lived in different states receiving multiple ballots from those states. It seems that the old sarcastic adage to “vote often” may not be that hard to do after all in a state-wide mail-in scenario.

So what can concerned voters do about election integrity and to ensure their vote counts? General Paxton was clear: “Voting in person is the safest thing to do” and is best way to “ensure that our elections are fair.”

We’ve made it easy for you to register to vote in your state if you have not done so already. Simply go to PrayVoteStand.org/register to register and to access resources on how to host a registration drive at your church as well as the legal dos and don’ts for churches. It’s particularly important to encourage everyone in our spheres of influence to register and to vote, since four out of 10 Christians do not vote in presidential elections.

The broadcast also featured words of encouragement and conviction for believers. World Missions President for Church of God in Christ, Bishop Vincent Mathews made it clear that Christians must not waver in their knowledge of the truth: “We say that God must be supreme. Truth is objective. It is not subjective and relative.” Pastor Jack Graham of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas echoed a similar message, emphasizing how much elections matter for believers, particularly with the issue of liberal state officials shutting down churches during the pandemic while keeping bars and abortion facilities open. As Graham pointed out, the tumultuous and divisive times we live in demand that all believers take a stand in the public square: “Vote your conscience. Vote your convictions. We say vote your faith. Vote your Bible, and then stand. We cannot be silent and we cannot run away.”

SBC Executive Committee President Ronnie Floyd reiterated the need for repentance and for deep and prayerful examination or our consciences based on the Book of Haggai: “I believe this is the call to the American church today from our Lord and our God. He is saying, church, think carefully about your ways … America, think carefully about your ways.”

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany played the video of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in a salon on a loop during Thursday’s press conference.

“We found Nancy Pelosi going into her hair salon. We will be playing the video on loop for all of you to see during the duration of this introduction … Apparently, the rules do not apply to Speaker Nancy Pelosi,” McEnany said.

Pelosi was recorded in a salon in San Francisco at the end of last month, despite coronavirus restrictions keeping such establishments closed from March until Sept. 1.

“It was a slap in the face that she went in, you know, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can’t work,” salon owner Erica Kious told Fox News this week.

“We have been shut down for so long, not just me, but most of the small businesses, and I just can’t — it’s a feeling — a feeling of being deflated, helpless, and honestly beaten down,” Kious said.

Pelosi has also addressed the video, calling it a “setup” and demanding an apology.

“I take responsibility for trusting the word of the neighborhood salon that I have been to many times,” Pelosi told reporters Wednesday. “When they said they could accommodate people one at a time, and we can set up that time, I trusted that.”

VIDEO: Joe Biden Says He Tries Not To Discuss ‘Law And Order’ Because It Plays Into President Trump’s Hands

Democratic nominee Joe Biden claimed President Donald Trump is trying to distract from “the job he hasn’t done” by talking about “law and order” and election security as he took to the podium to make remarks and answer questions from the press Friday from Wilmington, Delaware.

Biden said he was concerned that the president’s attacks on mail-in voting could disrupt attempts by Biden supporters to vote, before continuing on to denounce the “law and order” rhetoric Trump’s campaign has deployed.

“That’s why I try not to talk about it so much,” Biden continued, suggesting that he could be “playing into” Trump’s hands by talking about election security and civil unrest throughout the country.

“I’m playing into — we’re playing, the more we talk about — there’s two things he wants us to talk about: ‘Is the election legitimate?’ and, ‘The whole country is up in flames. Everything is burning. Law and order.’”

Biden said the president’s focus on election security and violent unrest in major American cities is a distraction from the job he “hasn’t done.”

“Because he doesn’t want to talk about anything. Anything at all,” Biden continued, “About the job he hasn’t done. And, so, it is —it’s a conundrum.”

This statement comes only days after a speech Biden gave in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Biden condemned violent unrest, saying “we have to stand against violence in every form it takes,” but did not mention “Black Lives Matter” or antifa during the address.

Biden and Democrats largely ignored rioting and looting during the Democratic National Convention in August, possibly because they believed it played into Trump’s hands then as well, but have since changed their tune and have begun trying to pin the unrest on Trump.

DC Mayor Embraces Report Calling for Removal or Contextualization of Washington Monument

Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser said Tuesday she looks forward to advancing the recommendations made in a report that urged her to remove, relocate, or contextualize the Washington Monument because of its “disqualifying” history.

District of Columbia Facilities and Commemorative Expressions (DCFACES) said in a report Monday that it was tasked with evaluating whether statues and memorials in the city should be removed or contextualized if the historical figures they represent participated in “slavery, systemic racism, mistreatment of, or actions that suppressed equality for, persons of color, women and LGBTQ communities and violation of the DC Human Right Act.”

The working group recommended that Bowser, a Democrat, use her position on the National Capital Memorial Advisory Commission to support the removal or contextualization of the Christopher Columbus Fountain, the Benjamin Franklin statue, the Andrew Jackson statue, and the Jefferson Memorial.

Bowser said she looked forward to “reviewing and advancing” the recommendations made in the working group’s report in a tweet Tuesday.

DCFACES also urged the city to identify a diverse cast of candidates to honor in the city with statues, noting that 70% of the statues and memorials in the nation’s capital are named after white men.

“Priority should be placed on ensuring future assets, especially and including those recommended for renaming by this Working Group, include more women, people of color and LGBTQ Washingtonians,” the report read.

The working group also recommended that at least 21 public schools named after figures such as James Monroe, Thomas Jefferson, Francis Scott Key, and Woodrow Wilson be renamed.

DCFACES identified a total of 153 assets, ranging from public schools, recreation centers, bridges, neighborhoods, and monuments, named after “persons of concern.”

“Across the country, communities are reflecting upon the systemic racism which has been engrained in our culture through policies and expressions impacting African Americans and other groups subject to discrimination,” Beverly Perry, DCFACES co-chair and senior adviser, said in a statement Tuesday. “This week we delivered recommendations to assure our assets in contemporary DC reflect concurrent DC values.”

Richard Reyes-Gavilan, DCFACES co-chair and D.C. Public Library executive director, said the “vast majority of the people we heard from agreed that the District should take action on public namesakes that are inconsistent with our DC Values.”

“And one thing was clear: DC residents consider being the namesake of a public asset a high honor that should be reserved for esteemed persons with legacies that make DC proud,” Reyes-Gavilan added.

Court Win for Professor Sued by Muslim Student, Punished by College Over Terrorism Course

A federal court has ruled in favor of a professor thrown under the bus by his public college after a Muslim student claimed the Islamic terrorism portion of a world politics class violated his Constitutional rights. The course is offered at Scottsdale Community College (SCC) in Arizona, which is part of the Maricopa County Community College District. It is taught by Nicholas Damask, a veteran professor who organizes the course into six modules that cover world politics. One is dedicated to defining and analyzing Islamic terrorism. Students are required to read excerpts from a book called “Future Jihad” written by a Lebanese-born Middle East expert who has worked with the U.S. departments of Justice, Defense and State.

A Muslim student, Mohamed Sabra, sued Professor Damask and the Maricopa County Community College District in June for violating his First Amendment right by supposedly condemning his religion. In the complaint, filed by the terrorist front group Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Sabra demands that Damask stop teaching the materials in question until they “do not have the primary effect of disapproving of Islam.” Founded in 1994 by three Middle Eastern extremists (Omar Ahmad, Nihad Awad and Rafeeq Jaber) who ran the American propaganda wing of Hamas, CAIR was named as a co-conspirator in a federal terror-finance case involving the Hamas front group Holy Land Foundation. In a statement announcing the lawsuit against the Arizona college district, CAIR alleges that Sabra “was punished for refusing to agree with an anti-Muslim professor’s unconstitutional condemnations of Islam during a Political Science class” and that he was forced to disavow his religion.

Like many taxpayer-funded academic institutions nationwide, SCC caved into the left’s demands and administrators quickly apologized and tried to pressure the professor into signing an apology letter written by the college’s marketing team. The Maricopa County Community College District also caved in, launching an investigation and warning that the content of Damask’s course would be reviewed for “insensitivities.” Damask, who has taught world politics for more than two decades, stood up to his employer and refused to apologize. He eventually contacted a group dedicated to defending rights such as freedom of speech and religion, due process and legal equality at America’s colleges and universities. The nonprofit, Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), sent a letter to SCC’s president pointing out that the school’s actions—as well as the district’s—were flatly inconsistent with the college’s First Amendment obligations and the basic tenets of academic freedom. “Further, the implication that Damask is being investigated by the college’s governing board will have an impermissible chilling effect on faculty expression and teaching,” the letter states. Publicly committing Damask to apologizing and a mandate that the content in question will be removed from his course is alarming and inconsistent with his rights to freedom of expression and academic freedom under both the First Amendment and Arizona law, according to FIRE.

This month a federal court settled the issue, dismissing the lawsuit against the professor and the community college district, which has 10 campuses. In the ruling Judge Susan Brnovich writes that a curriculum that “merely conflicts with a student’s religious beliefs does not violate the Free Exercise Clause.” She also writes that the Muslim student was not required to adopt the views expressed by the professor or the course’s required reading, but only to demonstrate an understanding of the material taught. “Mr. Sabra was simply exposed to attitudes and outlooks at odds with his own religious perspective,” the ruling states. Appointed to the bench by President Donald Trump in 2018, Judge Brnovich also writes this in her order: “Examining the course as a whole, a reasonable, objective observer would conclude that the teaching’s primary purpose was not the inhibition of religion. Only in picking select quotes from the course can one describe the module as anti-Islam.”

PODCAST: Are the Polls Rigged?

I remember where I was on Election Night in 2016, watching the results come in from a grad school classroom with my (mostly liberal) fellow students. I was fully convinced Hillary Clinton was going to crush Donald Trump and become the 45th president of the United States.

But then: North Carolina went red. Florida went red. Ohio was a landslide for Trump. Pennsylvania and Michigan were too close to call. What was happening? As more polls closed, the results kept favoring Trump. Students began leaving in disgust. I went to bed early, not daring to hope. I awoke in an entirely different world: Donald Trump had convincingly swept the Electoral College, utterly stunning partisans and pollsters alike.

How did the polls miss President Trump’s electoral landslide victory? Perhaps a better question, as the 2020 election approaches — could it happen again?

Veteran pollster John McLaughlin (who has polled for both Donald Trump and Family Research Council) answered both questions last night in a radio interview on Washington Watch with Tony Perkins. The pollsters “had a bias four years ago,” he said. The media showed Trump leading Clinton in only 13 out of 170 head-to-head matchups. October polls showed him trailing by double-digits. The New York Times gave him an 85 percent chance of losing.

According to McLaughlin, “Four years ago, they didn’t think we could win, so they kind of ignored us. This time around, they’re afraid we’re going to win…. So the establishment media is rigging the polls basically.” McLaughlin provided a list of poor practices that lead to bias in many polls:

  • Counting Non-Voters. “A lot of the media polls will ask if you’re likely to vote, and then they’ll keep you in the poll if you tell them no,” said McLaughlin. That “waters down” those who plan to vote for Donald Trump.
  • Undercounting Republicans. McLaughlin took issue, for instance, with a recent Yahoo! News poll estimating 2020 voters would be 41 percent Democrat and 26 percent Republican. He pointed out that Republicans comprised 33 percent of voters in both 2016, and even in the 2018 “blue wave” midterm election. “Since the president gets over 90 percent of the Republican vote, every point you take the Republicans down, you’re taking the president down a point.”
  • Surveying with Methods Known to Yield Biased Results. Media coverage of President Trump is about 90 percent negative, so people “are afraid in some cases to admit that they’re voting for Trump,” as Tony Perkins put it. This is called Social Desirability Bias, and it skewed polls in 2016. McLaughlin said pollsters can correct for this by using methods such as interactive voice response (IVR), but many mainstream media polls don’t bother.

In addition to Yahoo! News, McLaughlin also critiqued polls by NBC, ABC, Quinnipiac, and USC.

Since the polls are designed to perpetuate the media’s anti-Trump narrative, McLaughlin said citizens should “ignore them and go vote.” In 2016, President Trump had “a decisive electoral win, but it was 46,000 votes in Pennsylvania, 22,000 votes in Wisconsin, and 10,000 votes in Michigan that made the difference,” said McLaughlin. Instead of studying the polls, he said, “they should study the issues, pay attention to debates, know what their principles are, and look at the candidates.”

After all, the president never believed the polls in 2016, said McLaughlin. He just kept “campaigning [in] five or six cities a day.”

Four years ago, I mistakenly believed the polls. But Donald Trump’s hard work paid off, and the biased polls had a black eye to show for it. Perhaps in November 2020 President Trump will beat the polls again.

PODCAST: Marriage — It Take Two to Tango

I first wrote this piece ten years ago. As a Notary Public in Florida, I have had the pleasure of marrying a few couples along the way. Before marrying them, I admonish them of the old expression, “It takes two to Tango,” which I will explain herein. As my daughter approaches her wedding day, I thought it would be a good idea to remind both her and her fiance of what this means. I hope you enjoy it.

After seeing so many marriages end in divorce, you cannot help but wonder why couples get married in the first place. Maybe they see it as some kind of legal permission slip to do nothing more than to have sex. If so, that seems to be rather shallow thinking to me. I tend to believe most people get married to quell the biological clock in their heads to reproduce. Under this scenario, husband and wife are doomed to failure after their mission has been fulfilled. There are probably dozens of reasons for getting divorced, but regardless, I think most people go into marriage with impractical expectations and hidden incompatibilities that are slow to surface.

Perhaps the biggest misconception about marriage is that it is easy; that by simply getting married all of your difficulties you experienced as a single person will somehow disappear. Hardly. If anything, your problems are only beginning as you have to learn to live with a new person unfamiliar with your customs, mannerisms, and lifestyle. I have yet to meet the couple who was perfectly compatible at the time of taking their marriage vows. Regardless of how long you may have lived with someone prior to marriage, you really don’t know the person until it becomes “legal.”

A lot of people fail to grasp that marriage is a partnership. This disturbs me greatly. With me, I have always compared it to the Tango. It involves forming a team which works together towards common goals and objectives, until we learn to dance as one. True, each person has their own unique duties and responsibilities, but to make such a partnership work, it is necessary for some give and take which some people can accept and adapt to, while others cannot. This means you cannot always do the things you did unilaterally when you were single. Now you must consider and consult your partner. Like any business venture, you must do what is best for both parties, not just one. This is the part of marriage most people do not understand. Any time one party ignores or excludes consideration for the other, the marriage is doomed.

If you have any doubt whatsoever about getting married, don’t do it. You must go into it with both eyes wide open and possess a genuine willingness to try to work together. Anything less will inevitably result in either an unhappy marriage or a nasty divorce.

So, my only advice to young people considering marriage, always be cognizant of the expression, “It takes two to Tango.” If you do it right, it can be a thing of beauty.
