Trump vs. the ‘Islamic Conquest of the West’ [+Video]

The irrational left, which means virtually all the left, is apoplectic over President Trump’s executive order halting immigration from terrorist-spawning countries. Its minions are complaining that the move is “un-American,” which in their world apparently involves playing Russian roulette with American lives.

The New York Times just ran a teary-eyed piece lamenting “immediate collateral damage imposed on people who, by all accounts, had no sinister intentions in trying to come to the United States,” as the paper put it. The fake news is right there — “by all accounts” — slipped in casually in the hope the reader will slide by it unthinkingly. In reality, there are many people, from intelligence experts to politicians to social commentators to Muslims themselves, warning that there’s no way to truly know these people’s “intentions.”

One of the most striking reports on this front — both because of its content and how the Fake News (mainstream) Media ignored it — was an October 2015 Glazov Gang interview with Dr. Mudar Zahran, a leader of the Jordanian Opposition Coalition now living as a refugee in Britain. While calling himself an “orthodox Muslim,” he nonetheless issued an eyebrow-raising warning:

Keep the Muslim migrants out of Europe.

What’s more, he insists that they must be returned to their native lands.

While Europe was the focus at the time (as the destination of most Mideast migrants), Zahran’s warnings absolutely apply to the US. And what he says is troubling: Many if not most of the migrants are not what they appear (video below).

First, we’d always been told the issue was Syrian refugees uprooted by their nation’s civil war. Yet Zahran stated that many of the Muslim newcomers aren’t even Syrian.

The proof is in the pudding, too. When we read stories about migrants committing crimes — rape, murder, a terrorist act or something else — the perpetrators generally are Afghani, Moroccan, Tunisian, Iraqi, Somali or some other nationality that doesn’t happen to be Syrian. This is just casually mentioned in the reportage’s “who” aspect, and the relevant question doesn’t occur to most readers.

What the heck are these non-Syrian migrants doing in the West when the “refugee” scheme was sold to Westerners with a “help the Syrians” message?

The next part of the con, states Zahran, is that “75 percent of those arriving from Syria come from safe area[s]” because the Syrians “in disaster areas cannot … leave.” But it gets worse. He also asserts that half the Syrian male migrants “have actually held weapons and fought in the Syrian war.”

Then there are the truly malevolent fakefugees. As Zahran put it, “I can authoritively [sic] confirm — I have photos, I have images, I have pictures, I have names of terrorists who actually are already in Europe posting their photos in Europe on Facebook.”

This warning has been echoed by other Muslim figures as well. Also in 2015, Lebanese Education Minister Elias Bou Saab warned that 20,000 jihadis likely lurk in his country’s refugee camps, and Syrian ambassador Riad Abbas claimed that 20 percent of Muslim migrants entering Europe had Islamic State (IS) ties.

How these miscreants could penetrate the West brings us to the third part of the con: Despite leftist claims to the contrary, there is no way to reliably vet the Muslim migrants.

First, nations such as Syria simply don’t have comprehensive, Western-style databases containing information on their citizens. Intelligence officials have acknowledged this, as has the Greek government and even former Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson. As Investor’s Business Daily put it in 2015, “Syria and Iraq, along with Somalia and Sudan, are failed states where police records aren’t even kept. Agents can’t vet somebody if they don’t have documentation and don’t even have the criminal databases to screen applicants.”

Moreover, what good would the data be, anyway? As NYC Syrian community leader Aarafat “Ralph” Succar pointed out in 2015 while warning of IS infiltration in the US, you can bribe Syrian public officials and get government documents stating you’re whoever you want to be. Said he, “You can go to the Syrian government today and say to them, ‘I need a piece of paper that says I’m Tony Caterpillar.’ And they give it to you,” reported the New York Post.

As for the notion these migrants can be vetted, Succar has a simple response: “[A]re you out of your mind?”

Yet even if we could weed out the fakefugees, it wouldn’t matter because vetting informs only about what migrants are, not what they will become or what their children will be. This is relevant not only because radicalization often occurs in the West itself, but because studies show that younger generations of Muslims in the West are actually more jihadist-minded than their elders. “Islam is the problem,” as I recently wrote — the gift that keeps on giving.

And the calculation is simple: If one million Muslim migrants enter a nation over time and just 1/10th of one percent are or will become terrorists, that’s 1,000 dangerous jihadists. Are you willing to bet, your life, that this estimate is liberal and not conservative?

Yet as dangerous as terrorists are, there’s a bigger picture here, a deeper con being perpetrated by the Arab world via the mass migrations. As Zahran warned, “I have to be honest; you read Arab magazines and Arab newspapers [and] they are talking about, ‘Good job! Now we’re going to conquest [sic] Europe.’ So it’s not even a secret.”

Zahran called this process “the soft Islamic conquest of the West” and noted that what Muslims “couldn’t do in the last 20 years, now the West is doing for us for free — and even [is] paying for it.”

The last part of the migration con concerns why leftists “care” so much about fakefugees. Not only is there the ego-driven ideological imperative of preserving their multiculturalist dogma, but consider: The vast majority of U.S. Muslims now vote Democrat, with Obama having gotten 89 and 85 percent of their votes in, respectively, 2008 and 2012. In contrast, pious, church-going Christians favor Republicans by wide margins.

Now note that while Christians are 10 percent of Syria’s population and are being targeted for extermination by IS, only one half of one percent of the “Syrian” migrants admitted under Obama were Christian. Compassion? Does the Left really care about these migrants’ lives?

Or just their future votes?

Whatever the case, the treasonous — or, as some would say, “internationalist” — alt-left often speaks about redistributing the wealth. They clearly don’t mind spreading the terrorism around, either. Why not? The West won’t long feel compelled to send soldiers to the Middle East if we bring enough of the Middle East to the West.

More Muslims have arrived in the US just since 9/11 than did so during our nation’s entire history leading up to it. This, the handiwork of the left, has already resulted in hundreds more Westerners dying in jihadist attacks. How much more blood do you liberals want on your hands?

Cancel your vacation plans: Iran bans U.S. citizens

Oh, this one hurts. I already had my flight booked to Tehran for a three-week vacation. I guess I’ll just have to go to Mogadishu instead.

Seriously, while Iran has a great history, as I explain in my book The Complete Infidel’s Guide to Iran, the Islamic Republic of Iran is so repressive and authoritarian, and so hostile to the United States, that American citizens would be foolish to go there. Hardest hit by this will be people who have family in Iran, and that is unfortunate, but the choice is between admitting people among whom may be jihad terrorists or inconveniencing some others for a temporary period.

Others hard hit will be the likes of Carl Ernst, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill pseudo-academic whose work on Islam is so whitewashed, so fawningly apologetic, so complete in its denial of the jihad doctrine and Sharia oppression, that he was given an award in 2008 by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the genocide-minded anti-Semite who was at that time President of Iran. Ernst happily flew to Tehran to accept. The incident was emblematic of how much American academia has degenerated.

Note also that it’s an “obvious insult to the Islamic world” when the U.S. takes steps to defend itself from jihad terrorism. Any defensive move by any non-Muslim entity is always seized upon by Islamic supremacists and jihadis and presented as if it were an unprovoked act of aggression. This is a tried-and-true response from Islamic entities going back all the way to the Crusades.

(CNN)Iran says it will ban all US citizens from entering the country in response to President Donald Trump’s executive order limiting immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries, according to an Iranian Foreign Ministry statement published on state media Saturday.

Iran is among seven countries whose nationals are barred from entering the United States for 90 days under Trump’s order.

The US ban is “an obvious insult to the Islamic world and in particular to the great nation of Iran,” the statement said.

President Trump may deport any alien who is a ‘terrorist’ or ‘likely to become a public charge’

President Trump recently signed several Executive Orders dealing with immigration and freezing the flow of refugees from certain countries.

The President has the authority to deny entry to or deport any migrant under the provisions of S.358 – Immigration Act of 1990 sponsored by former Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA). The Immigration Act of 1990 states:

Title V: EnforcementSubtitle A: Criminal Aliens – Revises the definition of aggravated felony to include: (1) any illicit trafficking in any controlled substance; (2) money laundering for which at least five years’ imprisonment has been imposed; (3) any crime of violence (not including a purely political offense) for which at least five years’ imprisonment has been imposed; (4) violations committed outside the United States; and (5) violations of foreign law for which the term of imprisonment was completed within the previous 15 years.

Revises the enforcement authority of INS officers. Authorizes such officers to: (1) make certain warrantless arrests for crimes unrelated to immigration; (2) carry firearms; and (3) execute and serve any order, warrant, summons, or other process issued under Federal authority.

Adds to the list of deportable acts conviction for an attempt to commit a drug offense.

Revises the definition of good moral character to include references to noncommission of an aggravated felony.

Directs the Attorney General to report to the appropriate congressional committees by December 1, 1991, on INS efforts to identify, apprehend, detain, and deport aliens convicted of crimes in the United States. Requires such report to include: (1) a criminal alien census with specified information; and (2) a criminal alien removal plan, including a method for identifying and preventing unlawful reentry.

Limits the waiver of exclusion for returning permanent residents who have been convicted of an aggravated felony and who have served five or more years’ imprisonment.

Extends from ten years to 20 years the bar against reentry of aliens convicted of aggravated felonies.

Prohibits an alien convicted of an aggravated felony from applying for or being granted asylum.

Subtitle D: General Enforcement

Provides for exclusion on security and related grounds of: (1) any alien who will enter the United States to perpetrate espionage, sabotage, or prohibited exporting of goods, technology, or sensitive information, or any other unlawful activity, to oppose, control, or overthrow the U.S. Government by force, violence, or other unlawful means; (2) any alien who has engaged in defined terrorist activities, or is likely to engage in such activities; (3) an alien whose entry or proposed activities in the United States the Secretary of State has reasonable ground to believe would have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States (with specified exceptions); (4) an immigrant with membership or affiliation with a totalitarian party (with specified exceptions for involuntary membership, certain past membership, and close family members); and (5) participants in Nazi persecutions or in genocide.

Provides for exclusion of aliens (in terms similar to current law) in the following categories: (1) an alien who is likely to become a public charge; (2) those who do not meet special rules for labor certification of teachers, scientists, and artists or qualifications for foreign medical school graduates; (3) illegal entrants and immigration violators (with revised provisions for aliens previously deported, certain aliens previously removed, aliens seeking benefit from misrepresentation, stowaways, and smugglers of undocumented aliens, as well as aliens subject to specified civil penalties); (4) those who do not meet certain documentation requirements for immigrant or nonimmigrant visas; and (5) those who are ineligible for citizenship. Makes ineligible for citizenship those who are permanently ineligible, and certain draft evaders.

In a 1990 Washington Post article titled “McCarran-Walter Act Reborn?” David Cole wrote:

With a whimper, not a bang, the 1952 McCarran-Walter Act is gone. In one of its last acts, the 101st Congress repealed this embarrassing remnant of the McCarthy era, a law that permitted the exclusion and expulsion of immigrants with politically “incorrect” beliefs and associations. Long criticized, the law appeared especially ludicrous in the wake of the Cold War.

But before we congratulate our representatives for courageously eradicating this 1950s relic, we should ask whether the new law that replaced it is in fact a change for the better. From the perspective of one who has litigated under the McCarran-Walter Act for many years, it looks unfortunately like more of the same. The new law continues to draw ideological lines and may well increase the administration’s ability to exclude and deport aliens for political reasons.

The 1990 law has been heralded as a long-awaited repudiation of these principles. It is not. For example, immigrants can still be excluded for mere membership in the Communist Party. As a result, we will continue to require all immigrants to answer a question long ago repudiated for citizens: “Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?” The new law also bars representatives and officials of the Palestine Liberation Organization, the “Communist” party of the 1990s. Thus, guilt by association remains the operative principle.

Two additional grounds for deportation, concerning “terrorism” and “foreign policy,” raise even broader problems. Just as the 1952 Congress responded to the threat of Communism by outlawing a wide range of legitimate but unpopular political activity, so the 1990 Congress has used the threat of “terrorism” to enact similarly sweeping provisions. The new law defines “terrorism” to include, among other things, the use of a firearm or explosive “with intent to endanger, directly or indirectly, the safety of one or more individuals or to cause substantial damage to property.”

An organization that has engaged in such conduct is a “terrorist” organization. And, according to the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the law makes deportable anyone who has raised money or recruited members for such an organization.

In CNN’s article “Key points in Trump’s immigration executive orders” Tal Kopan and Catherine E. Shoichet report:

The [Executive] order says the priority will be removing deportable immigrants who “have been convicted of any criminal offense; have been charged with any criminal offense, where such charge has not been resolved; have committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense; have engaged in fraud or willful misrepresentation in connection with any official matter or application before a governmental agency; have abused any program related to receipt of public benefits; are subject to a final order of removal, but who have not complied with their legal obligation to depart the United States; or in the judgment of an immigration officer, otherwise pose a risk to public safety or national security.”

Based on the wording of the executive order, a criminal could include someone who’s charged with — but not actually convicted — of a crime.

The last provisions apparently include anyone who an immigration official feels endangers “public safety or national security,” even if that person doesn’t face charges — giving wide latitude to officers.

President Trump has the full authority under the provisions of S.358 – Immigration Act of 1990 to make America safe again. He is exercising that authority to protect every American citizen and every American job.

Trump’s Planned Wall is Essential to Protect America and Americans

On Inauguration Day (Jan. 20), the day before and the day after, protestors who opposed Donald Trump’s election as the 45th U.S. President and his campaign promises, particularly his promise to build a wall, took to the streets. Among their hand-held signs, some read, “Build bridges, not walls,” a slogan that demonstrates how naive and ill-informed the protesters are.

Also on Jan. 20, the Department of Justice issued a press release that heralded the extradition to the United States of the leader of the Sinaloa Drug Cartel and of arguably the world’s most violent drug dealer.

The press release, “Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman Loera Faces Charges in New York for Leading a Continuing Criminal Enterprise and other Drug-Related Charges,” painted a clear image of the magnitude of the drug trafficking crimes, including crimes of extreme violence for which he has been indicted.

The press release contains links to the Detention Memo and the Indictment, and begins with these two paragraphs:

“The indictment alleges that between January 1989 and December 2014, Guzman Loera led a continuing criminal enterprise responsible for importing into the United States and distributing massive amounts of illegal narcotics and conspiring to murder persons who posed a threat to Guzman Loera’s narcotics enterprise.

“Guzman Loera is also charged with using firearms in relation to his drug trafficking and money laundering relating to the bulk smuggling from the United States to Mexico of more than $14 billion in cash proceeds from narcotics sales throughout the United States and Canada. As part of this investigation, nearly 200,000 kilograms of cocaine linked to the Sinaloa Cartel have been seized. The indictment seeks forfeiture of more than $14 billion in drug proceeds and illicit profits.”

In order to be successful in their drug trafficking crimes, the Sinaloa Cartel obviously needed to cross the border that is supposed to separate the U.S. from Mexico, not only to move mega-tonnage of heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana into the U.S., but also the employees of the cartel that include “enforcers,” thugs who, on orders from their Cartel bosses, kill, kidnap and torture those who get in the way.

These criminals, almost invariably, were aliens who entered the U.S. illegally. It is alleged that in Mexico the Sinaloa Cartel was responsible for the murder of thousands of individuals, many of whom were beheaded to further intimidate those who posed a threat to the cartel.

However the violence was not limited to Mexico.

The press release noted that this investigation was conducted by courageous law enforcement officers in Colombia, Mexico, the U.S. and elsewhere. In the U.S., the investigation was pursued by the multi-agency Organized Crime, Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) that includes agents of the DEA, FBI, ICE and ATF, as well as members of local and state police departments.

Having spent the final ten years of my career with the INS assigned to OCDETF, I am extremely familiar with the effectiveness of the multiagency task force approach to the investigation and dismantling of large-scale narcotics trafficking organizations. They are critical to border security and effective enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws.

The extradition and prosecution of El Chapo and others are major U.S. law enforcement achievements made in cooperation with the valiant law enforcement officers of Mexico and Colombia. But, the “War on Drugs” continues.

Nevertheless, when Donald Trump campaigned to build a wall to secure the border that is supposed to separate the United States from Mexico to prevent criminals, terrorists and drugs from entering the country, the globalists, aided and abetted by dishonest journalists, created the false narrative equating Trump’s goals and the goals of Americans who demand that our borders be secured against illegal entry with racism.

The provisions of Title 8 U.S. Code § 1182 – Inadmissible aliens guides CBP inspectors at ports of entry in making determinations as to the admissibility of aliens seeking entry into the U.S. These determinations have nothing to do with race, religion or ethnicity.

Jimmy Carter created the term “undocumented immigrant” to describe illegal aliens. Over time, that Orwellian tactic has come to enable immigration anarchists to con many Americans into believing that deporting illegal aliens actually refers to deporting all “immigrants” when nothing could be further from the truth.

Securing our borders against illegal entry is not to be equated with preventing all aliens from entering the U.S., only those aliens who violate our laws.

As I noted when I testified at a Congressional hearing several years ago, a country without secure borders can no more stand than can a house without walls.

The Women’s March and the Real Deplorables

In a recent viral Facebook post, a conservative woman found it necessary to point out that she wasn’t a “disgrace to women” for not supporting the Women’s March on Washington. Of course not. Saying otherwise is a bit like having called a soldier a disgrace to soldiers for not having supported the My Lai Massacre.

One D.C. marcher held a placard stating, “I am more than my v****a.” This was clear: She was also a mouth and a sign.

British journalist Katie Hopkins, who attended the Saturday event, cited the above message and pointed out that possession of such an anatomical feature “is a matter of biology, not a political argument” — and that the marchers had no political arguments. Theirs was a collective tantrum.

Madonna spoke at the rally, dropped f-bombs, led the throng in chanting “I’M NOT YOUR B****!” and then, quite ironically, complained that “Good” didn’t win in the election. Hopkins quipped that she didn’t “even know Good was a candidate.” If he was, though, Madonna should have told us whether Donald Trump is the Bad or the Ugly. Then we’d better know what to expect the next four years.

But Madonna, don’t preach; you’re in trouble deep. It’s not just that the Secret Service is now investigating her for saying at the march that she thought about “blowing up the White House.” It’s that she’s blowing up her own life and helped blow up our culture.

After peddling sexuality to make money and demonstrating a pathological unwillingness to constrain herself, Madonna has (as a parent must) tried to constrain her children. Unsurprisingly, however, son Rocco Ritchie rebelled against the immaterial girl and now lives with his father.

The 58-year-old pop tart has also become the Peter Pan Syndrome personified and is clearly unhappy, as 2016 on-stage meltdowns evidenced. Is this woman, whose own ship is listing badly, one to advise on the ship of state? Madonna, take the log out of your own eye before worrying about the speck in Donald Trump’s.

Actress Ashley Judd spoke at the rally as well (and as badly). Perhaps now too dependent on having others write her material, she recited a poem disgorged by a 19-year-old Dunkin’ Donuts worker which included the line, “I feel Hitler in these streets, a mustache traded for a toupee.” What profundity! Move over, Whitman and Yeats — you’ve just been dunked on.

In the same vein, there were march messages such as “This p***y bites and she slays,” “P***y power — it’ll grab ya’,” “B*****s get stuff done” (finally, some specificity!), “Ovaries before brovaries,” “My p***y bites,” “Utereses before duderuses” (so obsessed with sexual body parts but can’t spell them?), and “Trump is a big p***y.” They forgot to say he smells and has cooties.

These were, mind you, among 150 slogans provided for protesters to choose from because, well, no one could ascend to such heights of intellectualism all by himself.

Additionally, many marchers wore pink “p***y hats,” which, Yahoo.com stated, would “Unite Millions at Women’s Marches Around the World.” If men held a rally and wore doggy hats with phallic symbolism, would they be called brave or boorish, be exalted as protesters or excoriated as pigs?

The march was pointless, classless and brainless, but not harmless. One common theme was anger at certain crass comments Trump made in the past. To combat this, the march’s leaders and their lemmings decided to be crude, lewd and even more crass in the present. It’s much like trying to correct your child’s cursing by cursing him out.

A famous sentiment used to justify such behavior, and one written on a protester’s sign, stated, “Well behaved women seldom make history.” This is like complaining that well behaved children seldom make a mess, for empowered ill-behaved people often do make history — and make a mess of it.

Contrary to this was the father of our nation, George Washington. He defeated his time’s greatest power and won our nation’s independence, all while being a pillar of civility. Not only is he known for helping popularize 110 “Rules of Civility & Decent Behavior,” but in 1776 he issued general orders to the Continental Army condemning the practice of “profane cursing,” writing that every man of “character…detests and despises it.”

Seeking rights without character is like seeking health without nourishment. Washington himself observed, “Human rights can only be assured among a virtuous people” while fellow founder Samuel Adams warned that “public liberty will not long survive the total extinction of morals.” The DC vixens-cum-vice peddlers should take note.

Fortunately, there are millions more women making history by, every day, molding the next generation to be well behaved — and to not mistake boorishness for bravery and sexual snake oil for sophistication.

Wanted for High Crimes and Misdemeaners

The charge of high crimes and misdemeanors covers allegations of misconduct, such as perjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, conduct unbecoming, and refusal to obey a lawful order.

The Washington, D.C. police and Secret Service are looking at, and for, a number of those who participated in protests on January 19th – 20th in the nations capitol. Among them are Madonna, and an unidentified man who punched a woman in the face and a woman who set another woman’s hair on fire for supporting President Trump, both pictured below.

Madonna is wanted for high crimes for stating in a public forum on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., “Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House…”

The Women’s March has been labeled peaceful by some media outlets. However, it was not peaceful in that many of those there were inciting violence bordering on sedition and treason.

Examples of child abuse were also evident as seen in the photo below.

Three women shown in the below photo with posters are promoting Islamic (shariah) law. Islamic law does not recognize the U.S. Constitution as the “supreme law of the land.” Under Islamic law the Quran is the supreme law. Under shariah law women are second class citizens and treated as chattel. In Islamic nations and communities, including the U.S., honor killings occur when a woman violates the tenants of the Quran, as determined by a male family member. If the male family member determines the woman is not Islamic enough he may beat, torture and kill her. Holding up these signs is the antithesis of women’s rights.

While the actions of those at the Women’s March were largely non-violent, their rhetoric was anything but non-violent. The Woman’s March set the stage for greater violence and mayhem as was seen in Washington, D.C. on January 19th, in Ferguson, Missouri and Baltimore, Maryland.

Many were in-sighting “resistance” against the lawful and established government and the U.S. Constitution. This march and its rhetoric can, and will, incite others to take action and resist, perhaps using violence against others.

PresidentTrump Signs Executive Order Defunding Planned Parenthood International

Donald J. Trump has taken the first step confirming his promise to be a pro-life President. The day after the rallies by pro-abortionists across the United States and overseas, the President by executive order defunded Planned Parenthood International.

President Donald Trump today signed an executive order to defund International Planned Parenthood.

Most pro-life Americans are anxiously awaiting Congress to pass a bill to defund the Planned Parenthood abortion business. While that defunding legislation concerns the domestic-based Planned Parenthood abortion corporation, President Trump has the ability to put in place an executive order that would revoke funding for its International affiliate.

When pro-abortion former President Barack Obama took office, Obama overturned a policy that prevented funding of groups that promote or perform abortions overseas. The Mexico City Policy covered over $400 million in federal funds, part of which flowed to the abortion businesses International Planned Parenthood and Marie Stopes International for their foreign efforts.

As LifeNews.com reported, the pro-life policy had been in place during the entirety of the Bush administration and Obama rescinded it on his first week in office. Named for a 1984 population conference where President Reagan initially announced it, the Mexico City Policy made it so family planning funds could only go to groups that would agree to not do abortions or lobby foreign nations to overturn their pro-life laws.

Today, Trump restored the Mexico City Policy by executive order.

The media is up in arms after White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer held an impromptu press conference on Saturday, January 21st, holding the press accountable for two fake news reports during and after the inauguration. Watch what Spicer said in the video below:

Every media outlet, with few exceptions, is out to get President Trump and those who elected him as the 45th President of the United States.

The media is in lock step with organizations such as George Soros’ Open Society, MoveOn.org, Code Pink, Planned Parenthood, Muslim supremacist members of the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Democrat Party, the Communist Party USA and many more.

The people hate the media even more today than yesterday after seeing how it lies, cheats and tweets fake news.

Let’s pay the refugees to go home using $3 billion in U.S. dues to the UN

Reader Harold made a suggestion this morning.  But it isn’t completely new to us. It is an idea another reader proposed in 2015—let’s pay refugees to go home!  I know many of you balked at the idea of using more of our money, but here Harold makes a suggestion for how to pay for it.

How about a Refugee Repatriation Act [RRA]? The government would pay each refugee wishing to return to their home country $20,000 and provide free air fare in exchange for their US papers and/or citizenship and would NOT be eligible to return to the USA. With the United Nations handling the relocation of refugees and since the USA pays over 3 Billion of the UN’s regular and peacekeeping budget, the $20,000 dollar RRA amount would be deducted from dues the US pays to the United Nations.

St Cloud, MN and surrounding area, where I live, has a refugee problem and assimilation in our area is not taking place.

Ann, you have been out front on this refugee problem so give this suggestion some consideration.

I’m sure many of you assume that all the refugees we are hauling in here now want to be here.  Over the years I’ve heard from those who want to go home! They were mislead about what it was like in America and are unhappy, but they cannot afford the airfare to leave.  Setting up a program like the one Harold proposes would help identify those who hate it here and have no intention of becoming patriotic Americans.

Along these same lines, I would like to see a hotline established at the US State Department where unhappy refugees could call in to voice concerns, and the line could also be used for whistleblowers (I hear from those too!) from within the refugee contracting agencies to call in.

Although whistleblowers might now want to contact the Inspector General offices at the State Department and in the Dept. of Health and Human Services. Less chance right now of retaliation against you!

President Donald J. Trump: Of the people, by the people and for the people

President Donald John Trump took the oath of office on January 20th, 2017. The first non-politician since George Washington to hole the office of the President of these United States. A historic moment.

Some pundits called President Trump’s inauguration speech just another campaign speech. CNN’s James Tapper got it right when he called President Trump’s inaugural speech “purely populist.”

But it was more than that, it was also purely patriotic. It was a speech by a man who is of the people,  a builder of buildings who has never held public office. It was a speech by the people, for it was the “forgotten men and women” who placed him in the highest office in the land. Finally, is was a speech for the people, all of the people who love America and its values of hard work, success, love of country, love of family and most of all a love of God, the Father.

As I listened to President Trump it was clear to me that this speech, his inauguration, the Presidency was not about him but rather about me.

Here are my favorite populist quotes, with emphasis added, from a historic and unprecedented inaugural speech:

  • Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another, or from one party to another — but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American People.

Let us all pray for President Trump, Vice President Pence and our leaders in the U.S. Congress that they heard the clarion call of We The People.

New Group ‘Faith Leaders for America’ Launched

I wanted to share with you a most extraordinary experience I had today.  At the National Press Club in Washington, nine courageous Christian and Jewish clerics announced the formation of a new group, Faith Leaders for America.  The mission they have undertaken, together with more than sixty-five other influential clergy of different faiths and denominations, is to promote and protect our constitutional freedoms increasingly under assault – in this country, as well as overseas – from adherents to the totalitarian Islamic doctrine known as Sharia.

WikiLeaks Vindicated: Understanding the Three-Faces of Barack Obama

President Obama in the waning hours of his administration has commuted the sentence of Bradly Manning. Manning, a former Army intelligence analyst, was convicted July 30, 2013. He was found guilty of 20 of the 22 charges he faced, mostly for espionage, theft and fraud. The judge found him not guilty of the most serious charge of aiding the enemy, which carries a life sentence, and treason which carries the death penalty. Manning transmitted the first classified documents to WikiLeaks in February 2010. This, the largest leak by a member of the U.S. military, came to be known as the Iraq and Afghanistan “War Logs.” He continued to transmit more material, including a video that showed a U.S. Apache helicopter in Baghdad opening fire on a group of individuals that the crew believed to be insurgents. Among the dead were Iraqi children and two journalists.

Many are wondering why President Barack Obama would commute Manning’s sentence. The answer: When you understand the Obama is not on our everything he does makes perfect sense.

The message is clear. If you expose our military secrets, the names of those who support and work with U.S forces fighting radical Islam you are deserving of a commutation. If you are a homosexual and a traitor, you are deserving of a commutation.

Who does this commutation benefit? The radical Islamists such as ISIS, Muslims who vote Democrat, the LGBT community which votes Democrats and the Alt-Left anarchists who hate America. Obama gets a thumbs up from those who hate America the most with this single commutation.

As I have written Obama has fundamentally transformed the Democrat Party into the Obamacrat Party. The three faces of which are now Marx, Mohammed and Manning.

The followers of Mohammed hate America, the followers of Marx hate America and Manning, the poster child of an LGBT traitor, hates America and betrayed his country and his fellow soldiers. Today there are some Democrats who are objecting to the commutation of Bradly Manning, but what did they do anything to stop it? Answer: NO. Silence is consent. Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act.

Democrats knew what Obama was going to do, and by their silence endorsed this action. According to the White House website Obama has granted more commutations than any President in American history granting, as the date of this column, 1,597 clemency requests and 212 pardons.

 in a Washington Post column titled “Bradley Manning sentenced to 35 years in WikiLeaks case” dated August 21, 2013 reported:

“I do not think the sentence has a legal effect on the continued investigation of Julian Assange and WikiLeaks,” said Michael Ratner, the U.S. attorney for Assange and WikiLeaks and president emeritus of the Center for Constitutional Rights. “However, it may well embolden the government in its efforts to indict journalists such as Julian Assange. The length of the sentence demonstrates what Assange and Edward Snowden face if they are ever taken into custody by the U.S. — draconian sentences.”

This commutation has changed all of this. Obama has vindicated WikiLeaks. If you commute the sentence of the leakier, how can you try let alone condemn, the actions of WikiLeaks to publish the documents? Answer: You can’t.

With the Manning commutation WikiLeaks and Julian Assange are vindicated. We are now entering the age of leaks, courtesy of Obama and the Democrats.

It’s about your mental and moral qualities, not the color of your skin

“I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character,” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

That was the message of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. A message lost on many in the black, white and brown communities today.

It is out of character for any race to think themselves superior to another race. It is out of character for one race to receive special treatment, regardless of past injustices, above another race. It is out of character for one to believe they are above another in their mental or moral qualities based upon the color of their skin. Every race has been enslaved, history tells us so. Dr. King wanted every American to understand that and do something about it.

Today people of color expect, no demand, that they be judged by the color of their skin rather than their mental and moral qualities.

Slavery is defined as, “a condition compared to that of a slave in respect of exhausting labor or restricted freedom.” Being superior to and demanding power over another based solely on skin color is the definition of slavery. The new slavery is being labeled a “racist.” Being labeled a racist has caused people to lose their jobs, impacted religious liberty and restricted freedom of speech.

That is not what Dr. King would have wanted.

Dr. King spent his life seeking equal justice under the law for all. That was his mission, that is his legacy. He left a legacy behind of always fighting for truth and justice. Dr. King was never ashamed of his faith and love for God the Father and His son Jesus Christ.

In 1983, Republican President Ronald Reagan signed the bill to make the third Monday in January a national holiday in honor of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. This day is set aside to commemorate and remember all the hard work and change that Dr. King achieved for racial equality during his short time on earth.

In 1963, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was arrested for demonstrating without a permit. He wrote a letter from Birmingham Jail to call out the Birmingham government for their racial injustice.

Dr. King wrote in his letter,

In any nonviolent campaign there are four basic steps: collection of the facts to determine whether injustices exist; negotiation; self purification; and direct action.

These steps are missing today. Americans witnessed a rush to violence in Orlando, Florida after the shooting of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman, followed by riots in Ferguson, Missouri and Baltimore, Maryland. There are those in the black, white and brown community who want to jump to judgement without doing their due diligence when it comes to identifying injustice. Injustice cuts both ways.

One cannot demand justice while denying justice to another. That is immoral. That is out of character.

16 April 1963

My Dear Fellow Clergymen:

While confined here in the Birmingham city jail, I came across your recent statement calling my present activities “unwise and untimely.” Seldom do I pause to answer criticism of my work and ideas. If I sought to answer all the criticisms that cross my desk, my secretaries would have little time for anything other than such correspondence in the course of the day, and I would have no time for constructive work. But since I feel that you are men of genuine good will and that your criticisms are sincerely set forth, I want to try to answer your statement in what I hope will be patient and reasonable terms.

I think I should indicate why I am here in Birmingham, since you have been influenced by the view which argues against “outsiders coming in.” I have the honor of serving as president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, an organization operating in every southern state, with headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. We have some eighty five affiliated organizations across the South, and one of them is the Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights. Frequently we share staff, educational and financial resources with our affiliates. Several months ago the affiliate here in Birmingham asked us to be on call to engage in a nonviolent direct action program if such were deemed necessary. We readily consented, and when the hour came we lived up to our promise. So I, along with several members of my staff, am here because I was invited here. I am here because I have organizational ties here.

But more basically, I am in Birmingham because injustice is here. Just as the prophets of the eighth century B.C. left their villages and carried their “thus saith the Lord” far beyond the boundaries of their home towns, and just as the Apostle Paul left his village of Tarsus and carried the gospel of Jesus Christ to the far corners of the Greco Roman world, so am I compelled to carry the gospel of freedom beyond my own home town. Like Paul, I must constantly respond to the Macedonian call for aid.

Moreover, I am cognizant of the interrelatedness of all communities and states. I cannot sit idly by in Atlanta and not be concerned about what happens in Birmingham. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. Never again can we afford to live with the narrow, provincial “outside agitator” idea. Anyone who lives inside the United States can never be considered an outsider anywhere within its bounds.

You deplore the demonstrations taking place in Birmingham. But your statement, I am sorry to say, fails to express a similar concern for the conditions that brought about the demonstrations. I am sure that none of you would want to rest content with the superficial kind of social analysis that deals merely with effects and does not grapple with underlying causes. It is unfortunate that demonstrations are taking place in Birmingham, but it is even more unfortunate that the city’s white power structure left the Negro community with no alternative.

In any nonviolent campaign there are four basic steps: collection of the facts to determine whether injustices exist; negotiation; self purification; and direct action. We have gone through all these steps in Birmingham. There can be no gainsaying the fact that racial injustice engulfs this community. Birmingham is probably the most thoroughly segregated city in the United States. Its ugly record of brutality is widely known. Negroes have experienced grossly unjust treatment in the courts. There have been more unsolved bombings of Negro homes and churches in Birmingham than in any other city in the nation. These are the hard, brutal facts of the case. On the basis of these conditions, Negro leaders sought to negotiate with the city fathers. But the latter consistently refused to engage in good faith negotiation.

Then, last September, came the opportunity to talk with leaders of Birmingham’s economic community. In the course of the negotiations, certain promises were made by the merchants–for example, to remove the stores’ humiliating racial signs. On the basis of these promises, the Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth and the leaders of the Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights agreed to a moratorium on all demonstrations. As the weeks and months went by, we realized that we were the victims of a broken promise. A few signs, briefly removed, returned; the others remained. As in so many past experiences, our hopes had been blasted, and the shadow of deep disappointment settled upon us. We had no alternative except to prepare for direct action, whereby we would present our very bodies as a means of laying our case before the conscience of the local and the national community. Mindful of the difficulties involved, we decided to undertake a process of self purification. We began a series of workshops on nonviolence, and we repeatedly asked ourselves: “Are you able to accept blows without retaliating?” “Are you able to endure the ordeal of jail?” We decided to schedule our direct action program for the Easter season, realizing that except for Christmas, this is the main shopping period of the year. Knowing that a strong economic-withdrawal program would be the by product of direct action, we felt that this would be the best time to bring pressure to bear on the merchants for the needed change.

Then it occurred to us that Birmingham’s mayoral election was coming up in March, and we speedily decided to postpone action until after election day. When we discovered that the Commissioner of Public Safety, Eugene “Bull” Connor, had piled up enough votes to be in the run off, we decided again to postpone action until the day after the run off so that the demonstrations could not be used to cloud the issues. Like many others, we waited to see Mr. Connor defeated, and to this end we endured postponement after postponement. Having aided in this community need, we felt that our direct action program could be delayed no longer.

You may well ask: “Why direct action? Why sit ins, marches and so forth? Isn’t negotiation a better path?” You are quite right in calling for negotiation. Indeed, this is the very purpose of direct action. Nonviolent direct action seeks to create such a crisis and foster such a tension that a community which has constantly refused to negotiate is forced to confront the issue. It seeks so to dramatize the issue that it can no longer be ignored. My citing the creation of tension as part of the work of the nonviolent resister may sound rather shocking. But I must confess that I am not afraid of the word “tension.” I have earnestly opposed violent tension, but there is a type of constructive, nonviolent tension which is necessary for growth. Just as Socrates felt that it was necessary to create a tension in the mind so that individuals could rise from the bondage of myths and half truths to the unfettered realm of creative analysis and objective appraisal, so must we see the need for nonviolent gadflies to create the kind of tension in society that will help men rise from the dark depths of prejudice and racism to the majestic heights of understanding and brotherhood. The purpose of our direct action program is to create a situation so crisis packed that it will inevitably open the door to negotiation. I therefore concur with you in your call for negotiation. Too long has our beloved Southland been bogged down in a tragic effort to live in monologue rather than dialogue.

One of the basic points in your statement is that the action that I and my associates have taken in Birmingham is untimely. Some have asked: “Why didn’t you give the new city administration time to act?” The only answer that I can give to this query is that the new Birmingham administration must be prodded about as much as the outgoing one, before it will act. We are sadly mistaken if we feel that the election of Albert Boutwell as mayor will bring the millennium to Birmingham. While Mr. Boutwell is a much more gentle person than Mr. Connor, they are both segregationists, dedicated to maintenance of the status quo. I have hope that Mr. Boutwell will be reasonable enough to see the futility of massive resistance to desegregation. But he will not see this without pressure from devotees of civil rights. My friends, I must say to you that we have not made a single gain in civil rights without determined legal and nonviolent pressure. Lamentably, it is an historical fact that privileged groups seldom give up their privileges voluntarily. Individuals may see the moral light and voluntarily give up their unjust posture; but, as Reinhold Niebuhr has reminded us, groups tend to be more immoral than individuals.

We know through painful experience that freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed. Frankly, I have yet to engage in a direct action campaign that was “well timed” in the view of those who have not suffered unduly from the disease of segregation. For years now I have heard the word “Wait!” It rings in the ear of every Negro with piercing familiarity. This “Wait” has almost always meant “Never.” We must come to see, with one of our distinguished jurists, that “justice too long delayed is justice denied.”

We have waited for more than 340 years for our constitutional and God given rights. The nations of Asia and Africa are moving with jetlike speed toward gaining political independence, but we still creep at horse and buggy pace toward gaining a cup of coffee at a lunch counter. Perhaps it is easy for those who have never felt the stinging darts of segregation to say, “Wait.” But when you have seen vicious mobs lynch your mothers and fathers at will and drown your sisters and brothers at whim; when you have seen hate filled policemen curse, kick and even kill your black brothers and sisters; when you see the vast majority of your twenty million Negro brothers smothering in an airtight cage of poverty in the midst of an affluent society; when you suddenly find your tongue twisted and your speech stammering as you seek to explain to your six year old daughter why she can’t go to the public amusement park that has just been advertised on television, and see tears welling up in her eyes when she is told that Funtown is closed to colored children, and see ominous clouds of inferiority beginning to form in her little mental sky, and see her beginning to distort her personality by developing an unconscious bitterness toward white people; when you have to concoct an answer for a five year old son who is asking: “Daddy, why do white people treat colored people so mean?”; when you take a cross county drive and find it necessary to sleep night after night in the uncomfortable corners of your automobile because no motel will accept you; when you are humiliated day in and day out by nagging signs reading “white” and “colored”; when your first name becomes “nigger,” your middle name becomes “boy” (however old you are) and your last name becomes “John,” and your wife and mother are never given the respected title “Mrs.”; when you are harried by day and haunted by night by the fact that you are a Negro, living constantly at tiptoe stance, never quite knowing what to expect next, and are plagued with inner fears and outer resentments; when you are forever fighting a degenerating sense of “nobodiness”–then you will understand why we find it difficult to wait. There comes a time when the cup of endurance runs over, and men are no longer willing to be plunged into the abyss of despair. I hope, sirs, you can understand our legitimate and unavoidable impatience. You express a great deal of anxiety over our willingness to break laws. This is certainly a legitimate concern. Since we so diligently urge people to obey the Supreme Court’s decision of 1954 outlawing segregation in the public schools, at first glance it may seem rather paradoxical for us consciously to break laws. One may well ask: “How can you advocate breaking some laws and obeying others?” The answer lies in the fact that there are two types of laws: just and unjust. I would be the first to advocate obeying just laws. One has not only a legal but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. Conversely, one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws. I would agree with St. Augustine that “an unjust law is no law at all.”

Now, what is the difference between the two? How does one determine whether a law is just or unjust? A just law is a man made code that squares with the moral law or the law of God. An unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with the moral law. To put it in the terms of St. Thomas Aquinas: An unjust law is a human law that is not rooted in eternal law and natural law. Any law that uplifts human personality is just. Any law that degrades human personality is unjust. All segregation statutes are unjust because segregation distorts the soul and damages the personality. It gives the segregator a false sense of superiority and the segregated a false sense of inferiority. Segregation, to use the terminology of the Jewish philosopher Martin Buber, substitutes an “I it” relationship for an “I thou” relationship and ends up relegating persons to the status of things. Hence segregation is not only politically, economically and sociologically unsound, it is morally wrong and sinful. Paul Tillich has said that sin is separation. Is not segregation an existential expression of man’s tragic separation, his awful estrangement, his terrible sinfulness? Thus it is that I can urge men to obey the 1954 decision of the Supreme Court, for it is morally right; and I can urge them to disobey segregation ordinances, for they are morally wrong.

Let us consider a more concrete example of just and unjust laws. An unjust law is a code that a numerical or power majority group compels a minority group to obey but does not make binding on itself. This is difference made legal. By the same token, a just law is a code that a majority compels a minority to follow and that it is willing to follow itself. This is sameness made legal. Let me give another explanation. A law is unjust if it is inflicted on a minority that, as a result of being denied the right to vote, had no part in enacting or devising the law. Who can say that the legislature of Alabama which set up that state’s segregation laws was democratically elected? Throughout Alabama all sorts of devious methods are used to prevent Negroes from becoming registered voters, and there are some counties in which, even though Negroes constitute a majority of the population, not a single Negro is registered. Can any law enacted under such circumstances be considered democratically structured?

Sometimes a law is just on its face and unjust in its application. For instance, I have been arrested on a charge of parading without a permit. Now, there is nothing wrong in having an ordinance which requires a permit for a parade. But such an ordinance becomes unjust when it is used to maintain segregation and to deny citizens the First-Amendment privilege of peaceful assembly and protest.

I hope you are able to see the distinction I am trying to point out. In no sense do I advocate evading or defying the law, as would the rabid segregationist. That would lead to anarchy. One who breaks an unjust law must do so openly, lovingly, and with a willingness to accept the penalty. I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for law.

Of course, there is nothing new about this kind of civil disobedience. It was evidenced sublimely in the refusal of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to obey the laws of Nebuchadnezzar, on the ground that a higher moral law was at stake. It was practiced superbly by the early Christians, who were willing to face hungry lions and the excruciating pain of chopping blocks rather than submit to certain unjust laws of the Roman Empire. To a degree, academic freedom is a reality today because Socrates practiced civil disobedience. In our own nation, the Boston Tea Party represented a massive act of civil disobedience.

We should never forget that everything Adolf Hitler did in Germany was “legal” and everything the Hungarian freedom fighters did in Hungary was “illegal.” It was “illegal” to aid and comfort a Jew in Hitler’s Germany. Even so, I am sure that, had I lived in Germany at the time, I would have aided and comforted my Jewish brothers. If today I lived in a Communist country where certain principles dear to the Christian faith are suppressed, I would openly advocate disobeying that country’s antireligious laws.

I must make two honest confessions to you, my Christian and Jewish brothers. First, I must confess that over the past few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro’s great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen’s Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to “order” than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says: “I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action”; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man’s freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a “more convenient season.” Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.

I had hoped that the white moderate would understand that law and order exist for the purpose of establishing justice and that when they fail in this purpose they become the dangerously structured dams that block the flow of social progress. I had hoped that the white moderate would understand that the present tension in the South is a necessary phase of the transition from an obnoxious negative peace, in which the Negro passively accepted his unjust plight, to a substantive and positive peace, in which all men will respect the dignity and worth of human personality. Actually, we who engage in nonviolent direct action are not the creators of tension. We merely bring to the surface the hidden tension that is already alive. We bring it out in the open, where it can be seen and dealt with. Like a boil that can never be cured so long as it is covered up but must be opened with all its ugliness to the natural medicines of air and light, injustice must be exposed, with all the tension its exposure creates, to the light of human conscience and the air of national opinion before it can be cured.

In your statement you assert that our actions, even though peaceful, must be condemned because they precipitate violence. But is this a logical assertion? Isn’t this like condemning a robbed man because his possession of money precipitated the evil act of robbery? Isn’t this like condemning Socrates because his unswerving commitment to truth and his philosophical inquiries precipitated the act by the misguided populace in which they made him drink hemlock? Isn’t this like condemning Jesus because his unique God consciousness and never ceasing devotion to God’s will precipitated the evil act of crucifixion? We must come to see that, as the federal courts have consistently affirmed, it is wrong to urge an individual to cease his efforts to gain his basic constitutional rights because the quest may precipitate violence. Society must protect the robbed and punish the robber. I had also hoped that the white moderate would reject the myth concerning time in relation to the struggle for freedom. I have just received a letter from a white brother in Texas. He writes: “All Christians know that the colored people will receive equal rights eventually, but it is possible that you are in too great a religious hurry. It has taken Christianity almost two thousand years to accomplish what it has. The teachings of Christ take time to come to earth.” Such an attitude stems from a tragic misconception of time, from the strangely irrational notion that there is something in the very flow of time that will inevitably cure all ills. Actually, time itself is neutral; it can be used either destructively or constructively. More and more I feel that the people of ill will have used time much more effectively than have the people of good will. We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people. Human progress never rolls in on wheels of inevitability; it comes through the tireless efforts of men willing to be co workers with God, and without this hard work, time itself becomes an ally of the forces of social stagnation. We must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the time is always ripe to do right. Now is the time to make real the promise of democracy and transform our pending national elegy into a creative psalm of brotherhood. Now is the time to lift our national policy from the quicksand of racial injustice to the solid rock of human dignity.

You speak of our activity in Birmingham as extreme. At first I was rather disappointed that fellow clergymen would see my nonviolent efforts as those of an extremist. I began thinking about the fact that I stand in the middle of two opposing forces in the Negro community. One is a force of complacency, made up in part of Negroes who, as a result of long years of oppression, are so drained of self respect and a sense of “somebodiness” that they have adjusted to segregation; and in part of a few middle-class Negroes who, because of a degree of academic and economic security and because in some ways they profit by segregation, have become insensitive to the problems of the masses. The other force is one of bitterness and hatred, and it comes perilously close to advocating violence. It is expressed in the various black nationalist groups that are springing up across the nation, the largest and best known being Elijah Muhammad’s Muslim movement. Nourished by the Negro’s frustration over the continued existence of racial discrimination, this movement is made up of people who have lost faith in America, who have absolutely repudiated Christianity, and who have concluded that the white man is an incorrigible “devil.”

I have tried to stand between these two forces, saying that we need emulate neither the “do nothingism” of the complacent nor the hatred and despair of the black nationalist. For there is the more excellent way of love and nonviolent protest. I am grateful to God that, through the influence of the Negro church, the way of nonviolence became an integral part of our struggle. If this philosophy had not emerged, by now many streets of the South would, I am convinced, be flowing with blood. And I am further convinced that if our white brothers dismiss as “rabble rousers” and “outside agitators” those of us who employ nonviolent direct action, and if they refuse to support our nonviolent efforts, millions of Negroes will, out of frustration and despair, seek solace and security in black nationalist ideologies–a development that would inevitably lead to a frightening racial nightmare.

Oppressed people cannot remain oppressed forever. The yearning for freedom eventually manifests itself, and that is what has happened to the American Negro. Something within has reminded him of his birthright of freedom, and something without has reminded him that it can be gained. Consciously or unconsciously, he has been caught up by the Zeitgeist, and with his black brothers of Africa and his brown and yellow brothers of Asia, South America and the Caribbean, the United States Negro is moving with a sense of great urgency toward the promised land of racial justice. If one recognizes this vital urge that has engulfed the Negro community, one should readily understand why public demonstrations are taking place. The Negro has many pent up resentments and latent frustrations, and he must release them. So let him march; let him make prayer pilgrimages to the city hall; let him go on freedom rides -and try to understand why he must do so. If his repressed emotions are not released in nonviolent ways, they will seek expression through violence; this is not a threat but a fact of history. So I have not said to my people: “Get rid of your discontent.” Rather, I have tried to say that this normal and healthy discontent can be channeled into the creative outlet of nonviolent direct action. And now this approach is being termed extremist. But though I was initially disappointed at being categorized as an extremist, as I continued to think about the matter I gradually gained a measure of satisfaction from the label. Was not Jesus an extremist for love: “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” Was not Amos an extremist for justice: “Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever flowing stream.” Was not Paul an extremist for the Christian gospel: “I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.” Was not Martin Luther an extremist: “Here I stand; I cannot do otherwise, so help me God.” And John Bunyan: “I will stay in jail to the end of my days before I make a butchery of my conscience.” And Abraham Lincoln: “This nation cannot survive half slave and half free.” And Thomas Jefferson: “We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal . . .” So the question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we will be. Will we be extremists for hate or for love? Will we be extremists for the preservation of injustice or for the extension of justice? In that dramatic scene on Calvary’s hill three men were crucified. We must never forget that all three were crucified for the same crime–the crime of extremism. Two were extremists for immorality, and thus fell below their environment. The other, Jesus Christ, was an extremist for love, truth and goodness, and thereby rose above his environment. Perhaps the South, the nation and the world are in dire need of creative extremists.

I had hoped that the white moderate would see this need. Perhaps I was too optimistic; perhaps I expected too much. I suppose I should have realized that few members of the oppressor race can understand the deep groans and passionate yearnings of the oppressed race, and still fewer have the vision to see that injustice must be rooted out by strong, persistent and determined action. I am thankful, however, that some of our white brothers in the South have grasped the meaning of this social revolution and committed themselves to it. They are still all too few in quantity, but they are big in quality. Some -such as Ralph McGill, Lillian Smith, Harry Golden, James McBride Dabbs, Ann Braden and Sarah Patton Boyle–have written about our struggle in eloquent and prophetic terms. Others have marched with us down nameless streets of the South. They have languished in filthy, roach infested jails, suffering the abuse and brutality of policemen who view them as “dirty nigger-lovers.” Unlike so many of their moderate brothers and sisters, they have recognized the urgency of the moment and sensed the need for powerful “action” antidotes to combat the disease of segregation. Let me take note of my other major disappointment. I have been so greatly disappointed with the white church and its leadership. Of course, there are some notable exceptions. I am not unmindful of the fact that each of you has taken some significant stands on this issue. I commend you, Reverend Stallings, for your Christian stand on this past Sunday, in welcoming Negroes to your worship service on a nonsegregated basis. I commend the Catholic leaders of this state for integrating Spring Hill College several years ago.

But despite these notable exceptions, I must honestly reiterate that I have been disappointed with the church. I do not say this as one of those negative critics who can always find something wrong with the church. I say this as a minister of the gospel, who loves the church; who was nurtured in its bosom; who has been sustained by its spiritual blessings and who will remain true to it as long as the cord of life shall lengthen.

When I was suddenly catapulted into the leadership of the bus protest in Montgomery, Alabama, a few years ago, I felt we would be supported by the white church. I felt that the white ministers, priests and rabbis of the South would be among our strongest allies. Instead, some have been outright opponents, refusing to understand the freedom movement and misrepresenting its leaders; all too many others have been more cautious than courageous and have remained silent behind the anesthetizing security of stained glass windows.

In spite of my shattered dreams, I came to Birmingham with the hope that the white religious leadership of this community would see the justice of our cause and, with deep moral concern, would serve as the channel through which our just grievances could reach the power structure. I had hoped that each of you would understand. But again I have been disappointed.

I have heard numerous southern religious leaders admonish their worshipers to comply with a desegregation decision because it is the law, but I have longed to hear white ministers declare: “Follow this decree because integration is morally right and because the Negro is your brother.” In the midst of blatant injustices inflicted upon the Negro, I have watched white churchmen stand on the sideline and mouth pious irrelevancies and sanctimonious trivialities. In the midst of a mighty struggle to rid our nation of racial and economic injustice, I have heard many ministers say: “Those are social issues, with which the gospel has no real concern.” And I have watched many churches commit themselves to a completely other worldly religion which makes a strange, un-Biblical distinction between body and soul, between the sacred and the secular.

I have traveled the length and breadth of Alabama, Mississippi and all the other southern states. On sweltering summer days and crisp autumn mornings I have looked at the South’s beautiful churches with their lofty spires pointing heavenward. I have beheld the impressive outlines of her massive religious education buildings. Over and over I have found myself asking: “What kind of people worship here? Who is their God? Where were their voices when the lips of Governor Barnett dripped with words of interposition and nullification? Where were they when Governor Wallace gave a clarion call for defiance and hatred? Where were their voices of support when bruised and weary Negro men and women decided to rise from the dark dungeons of complacency to the bright hills of creative protest?”

Yes, these questions are still in my mind. In deep disappointment I have wept over the laxity of the church. But be assured that my tears have been tears of love. There can be no deep disappointment where there is not deep love. Yes, I love the church. How could I do otherwise? I am in the rather unique position of being the son, the grandson and the great grandson of preachers. Yes, I see the church as the body of Christ. But, oh! How we have blemished and scarred that body through social neglect and through fear of being nonconformists.

There was a time when the church was very powerful–in the time when the early Christians rejoiced at being deemed worthy to suffer for what they believed. In those days the church was not merely a thermometer that recorded the ideas and principles of popular opinion; it was a thermostat that transformed the mores of society. Whenever the early Christians entered a town, the people in power became disturbed and immediately sought to convict the Christians for being “disturbers of the peace” and “outside agitators.”‘ But the Christians pressed on, in the conviction that they were “a colony of heaven,” called to obey God rather than man. Small in number, they were big in commitment. They were too God-intoxicated to be “astronomically intimidated.” By their effort and example they brought an end to such ancient evils as infanticide and gladiatorial contests. Things are different now. So often the contemporary church is a weak, ineffectual voice with an uncertain sound. So often it is an archdefender of the status quo. Far from being disturbed by the presence of the church, the power structure of the average community is consoled by the church’s silent–and often even vocal–sanction of things as they are.

But the judgment of God is upon the church as never before. If today’s church does not recapture the sacrificial spirit of the early church, it will lose its authenticity, forfeit the loyalty of millions, and be dismissed as an irrelevant social club with no meaning for the twentieth century. Every day I meet young people whose disappointment with the church has turned into outright disgust.

Perhaps I have once again been too optimistic. Is organized religion too inextricably bound to the status quo to save our nation and the world? Perhaps I must turn my faith to the inner spiritual church, the church within the church, as the true ekklesia and the hope of the world. But again I am thankful to God that some noble souls from the ranks of organized religion have broken loose from the paralyzing chains of conformity and joined us as active partners in the struggle for freedom. They have left their secure congregations and walked the streets of Albany, Georgia, with us. They have gone down the highways of the South on tortuous rides for freedom. Yes, they have gone to jail with us. Some have been dismissed from their churches, have lost the support of their bishops and fellow ministers. But they have acted in the faith that right defeated is stronger than evil triumphant. Their witness has been the spiritual salt that has preserved the true meaning of the gospel in these troubled times. They have carved a tunnel of hope through the dark mountain of disappointment. I hope the church as a whole will meet the challenge of this decisive hour. But even if the church does not come to the aid of justice, I have no despair about the future. I have no fear about the outcome of our struggle in Birmingham, even if our motives are at present misunderstood. We will reach the goal of freedom in Birmingham and all over the nation, because the goal of America is freedom. Abused and scorned though we may be, our destiny is tied up with America’s destiny. Before the pilgrims landed at Plymouth, we were here. Before the pen of Jefferson etched the majestic words of the Declaration of Independence across the pages of history, we were here. For more than two centuries our forebears labored in this country without wages; they made cotton king; they built the homes of their masters while suffering gross injustice and shameful humiliation -and yet out of a bottomless vitality they continued to thrive and develop. If the inexpressible cruelties of slavery could not stop us, the opposition we now face will surely fail. We will win our freedom because the sacred heritage of our nation and the eternal will of God are embodied in our echoing demands. Before closing I feel impelled to mention one other point in your statement that has troubled me profoundly. You warmly commended the Birmingham police force for keeping “order” and “preventing violence.” I doubt that you would have so warmly commended the police force if you had seen its dogs sinking their teeth into unarmed, nonviolent Negroes. I doubt that you would so quickly commend the policemen if you were to observe their ugly and inhumane treatment of Negroes here in the city jail; if you were to watch them push and curse old Negro women and young Negro girls; if you were to see them slap and kick old Negro men and young boys; if you were to observe them, as they did on two occasions, refuse to give us food because we wanted to sing our grace together. I cannot join you in your praise of the Birmingham police department.

It is true that the police have exercised a degree of discipline in handling the demonstrators. In this sense they have conducted themselves rather “nonviolently” in public. But for what purpose? To preserve the evil system of segregation. Over the past few years I have consistently preached that nonviolence demands that the means we use must be as pure as the ends we seek. I have tried to make clear that it is wrong to use immoral means to attain moral ends. But now I must affirm that it is just as wrong, or perhaps even more so, to use moral means to preserve immoral ends. Perhaps Mr. Connor and his policemen have been rather nonviolent in public, as was Chief Pritchett in Albany, Georgia, but they have used the moral means of nonviolence to maintain the immoral end of racial injustice. As T. S. Eliot has said: “The last temptation is the greatest treason: To do the right deed for the wrong reason.”

I wish you had commended the Negro sit inners and demonstrators of Birmingham for their sublime courage, their willingness to suffer and their amazing discipline in the midst of great provocation. One day the South will recognize its real heroes. They will be the James Merediths, with the noble sense of purpose that enables them to face jeering and hostile mobs, and with the agonizing loneliness that characterizes the life of the pioneer. They will be old, oppressed, battered Negro women, symbolized in a seventy two year old woman in Montgomery, Alabama, who rose up with a sense of dignity and with her people decided not to ride segregated buses, and who responded with ungrammatical profundity to one who inquired about her weariness: “My feets is tired, but my soul is at rest.” They will be the young high school and college students, the young ministers of the gospel and a host of their elders, courageously and nonviolently sitting in at lunch counters and willingly going to jail for conscience’ sake. One day the South will know that when these disinherited children of God sat down at lunch counters, they were in reality standing up for what is best in the American dream and for the most sacred values in our Judaeo Christian heritage, thereby bringing our nation back to those great wells of democracy which were dug deep by the founding fathers in their formulation of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

Never before have I written so long a letter. I’m afraid it is much too long to take your precious time. I can assure you that it would have been much shorter if I had been writing from a comfortable desk, but what else can one do when he is alone in a narrow jail cell, other than write long letters, think long thoughts and pray long prayers?

If I have said anything in this letter that overstates the truth and indicates an unreasonable impatience, I beg you to forgive me. If I have said anything that understates the truth and indicates my having a patience that allows me to settle for anything less than brotherhood, I beg God to forgive me.

I hope this letter finds you strong in the faith. I also hope that circumstances will soon make it possible for me to meet each of you, not as an integrationist or a civil-rights leader but as a fellow clergyman and a Christian brother. Let us all hope that the dark clouds of racial prejudice will soon pass away and the deep fog of misunderstanding will be lifted from our fear drenched communities, and in some not too distant tomorrow the radiant stars of love and brotherhood will shine over our great nation with all their scintillating beauty.

Shootout at U.S. Consulate Part of Terrorist Attack Plan for Inauguration

Over the years we have educated American on a dire threat as a result of our open southern border.  It consists of the deadly drug cartels, of course, but also Islamic terrorists who find common ground with the narcotics traffickers.

This week our Corruption Chronicles blog tells of an imminent threat from this unholy alliance that is tied to the inauguration of Donald Trump:

A deadly shootout at the construction site of the new American consulate occurred this week in a Mexican border town where Islamic terrorists and drug cartels plan to launch attacks against the U.S. during the period surrounding the presidential inauguration, high-level government sources tell Judicial Watch.

An unknown number of gunmen fired multiple rounds adjacent to the new U.S. consulate compound in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, a crime-infested city in the state of Tamaulipas that lies directly across from Laredo, Texas.

The Mexican military responded to the attack, law enforcement sources on both sides of the border confirm, insisting that their identities be kept confidential for security reasons, and at least three soldiers were either killed or critically wounded in the ambush.

A local newspaper in Tamaulipas reported that 13 people died during a shootout in Nuevo Laredo, referring to the deceased as heavily armed “delinquents”  with an arsenal that includes 12 automatic weapons, a rocket launcher, grenade, loads of ammunition and drugs in three vehicles, one of them armored. The deceased have not been identified and Mexican authorities will continue to investigate, the article states, attributing the information to a press release issued by Mexico’s Defense Secretary.

Judicial Watch’s law enforcement and intelligence sources say the barrage outside what’s soon to be the new U.S. consulate is connected to a broad operation between Islamic terrorists and Mexican drug cartels to send President-elect Donald Trump a message by engaging in attacks at border ports.

“Cartels usually don’t work with jihadists for fear of having the border shut down,” a veteran federal law enforcement official told Judicial Watch. “But Trump is causing so much disruption in Mexico that they are partnering to send a message as to who is in control. This is as outrageous as a small group of guys crashing planes into U.S. buildings.” Another official who has worked in the region for years said “Trump is causing a huge amount of fear in Mexico throughout all sectors; private, government, business, criminal, police….”

Nuevo Laredo is among the border towns that the terrorists and narcotraffickers plan to launch attacks in, according to intelligence gathered by law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and Mexico. Others include Matamoros, Reynosa and Ciudad Juárez. In 2015 Judicial Watch reported  that ISIS is operating a camp just west of Ciudad Juárez, around eight miles from El Paso. Sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and Mexican Federal Police inspector revealed that, during a joint operation, they discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation in El Paso that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation.

Just last week Judicial Watch reported  that a Jihadi-cartel alliance in the Mexican state of Nuevo León is collaborating to carry out attacks in American cities and ports of entry along the southern border. Confidential U.S. and Mexican law enforcement sources said that, as part of the plan, militant Islamists have arrived recently at the Monterrey International Airport situated in Apodaca, Nuevo León, about 130 miles south of the Texas border. An internal Mexican law enforcement report obtained by Judicial Watch confirms that Islamic terrorists have “people along the border, principally in Tijuana, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.” Cartel informants tell law enforcement contacts that “they are only waiting for the order and the times to carry out a simultaneous attack in the different ports of entry or cities of the United States of America.”

The area where this week’s shootout originated is a 5.6-acre parcel just south of downtown Nuevo Laredo on Paseo Colon. The State Department predicts that by September the new U.S. consulate compound, which broke ground in mid-2015 and will cost $155 million, should be completed. It will have multiple buildings, including an office structure, U.S. Marine Security Guard residence, support annex and other facilities for the consulate community. The primary function of consulates is helping and protecting Americans abroad.

Unfortunately, given the Obama Administration’s criminal laxity with anything to do with border safety, the term “Wild West” is a reality. And because the press isn’t interested, most Americans aren’t aware of the threat.

Let’s pray law enforcement is paying attention to our clarion calls on this issue and nothing terrible happens.

The Face of GQ Magazine: Obama should ‘murder Trump & Pence’ for ‘Humanity’

A writer for GQ Magazine posted the below tweet:

Rupert Myers, according to his Facebook page, is a “Political correspondent, British GQ. Also writes about society, politics and law for the Telegraph and the Guardian.” He is also a barrister, a British lawyer.

To answer Mr. Myers legal question, yes U.S. Presidents may pardon themselves. Mediateite.com’s Alex Griswold reported:

For those who were wondering, Law Newz’s Chris White argued in October that the president actually can pardon themselves for federal crimes.

So that answers barrister Myers first question. Now let’s look at the second part of his tweet – “Asking for humanity.” Griswold wrote,

“Still, Myers took a rather flippant attitude towards the angry responses. His explanation for the tweet varied, with Myers saying that it was only a joke but elsewhere claiming it was an innocent question about the president’s pardon power.”

Joke? This is more than a joke. Innocent? Myers is a barrister and a political correspondent. His tweet, when put into the context of his background, is anything but innocent.

It is here that Myers reveals his rational to commit two murders, justifying murder in the name of “humanity.” Killing in the name of humanity is evil on its face. In 1759 a classics scholar named Beilby Porteus wrote Death: A Poetical Essay”. The following excerpt discusses tyranny and provocatively contrasted the ramifications of small and large murders:

To sate the lust of power; more horrid still,
The foulest stain and scandal of our nature
Became its boast — One Murder made a Villain,
Millions a Hero. — Princes were privileg’d
To kill, and numbers sanctified the crime.
Ah! why will Kings forget that they are Men?

Myers Tweeted this about the ABC News story of outgoing President Obama awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to outgoing Vice President Joe Biden:

We are going to miss the heck out of these guys

Myers also promotes the fake new story about President-elect Trump on his Facebook page stating:

By me on #Watersportsgate : If you decry fake news but revel in sordid claims about Trump, you’re a hypocrite http://www.telegraph.co.uk/…/decry-fake-news-revel-sordid-…/

Myers in his Telegraph article notes,

golden opportunity has presented itself to mock the President elect. Leaks about Trump’s predilections have produced a cascade of stories – a shower if you will – about the incoming President’s alleged fondness for an unusual sex act which does not bear describing.” His tweet is intended to murder Trump and Pence, his article is meant to “mock the President elect.”

Myers, as a correspondent and barrister, understands what he is suggesting will “sate the lust for power” by those who want to impose tyranny globally. Myers exemplifies the “foulest stain and scandal of our nature.” Myers, should something happen to either President-elect Trump or Vice President-elect Mike Pence or their families, will have blood on his hands.

Myers is the poster boy for what is wrong with journalism.

Myers, and others in the media, have gone beyond bias, beyond hate, beyond bizarre. A call to murder in the name of humanity is an oxymoron like cruel kindness. How is it that one human calls for the murder of two innocent men because they disagree with them?

History has seen this hate in other regimes, Nazi Germany, the former Soviet Union, Communist China, Communist Cuba, Cambodia and on and on.
