The Trump administration has made good on its promise to implement pro-life policies throughout the federal government, including in America’s foreign policy and in humanitarian aid.
But those advances could be dealt a crippling blow as a result of a compromise by Senate Republicans, who are cooperating with an underhanded attempt to stymie the administration’s efforts through controversial additions to must-pass appropriations bills.
The Trump administration’s Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance policy reinstated and expanded the Reagan administration’s “Mexico City policy,” which barred taxpayer funds from organizations that perform or promote abortions overseas.
In addition, the administration has expanded the availability of funding to pro-life and faith-based aid organizations that the Obama administration excluded from participation in programs at the U.S. Agency for International Development because of their views on abortion, marriage, and gender identity.
Over the summer, the White House and congressional leadership from both parties reached an agreement regarding the budget and appropriations process, including an agreement that neither side would include so-called poison pill policy riders that did not have bipartisan support.
Abortion-related amendments historically have been understood to clearly violate such agreements, and the inclusion of controversial language on sexual orientation and gender identity should also fall into this category.
But prior to the Senate Appropriations Committee’s Sept. 26 vote on the funding bill for the State Department and foreign operations, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., threatened to offer an amendment reversing the Trump administration’s Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance policy.
In order to avoid a vote on this amendment, which could have passed the committee, Republicans on the panel agreed to add new language proposed by Shaheen to the bill.
That language, released just minutes before the scheduled committee markup, represents an attempt to work around the administration’s prohibition on international abortion funding by providing $665 million for “family planning and reproductive health care”—which would go to groups that promote abortion.
The new amendment, ultimately adopted as part of the final bill, also enshrines problematic language on sexual orientation and gender identity and hinders the administration’s efforts to expand USAID funding to pro-life and faith-based groups.
One provision requires the agency to inform Congress if any group that receives funding has been found to violate an Obama-era regulation interpreting sex discrimination as including sexual orientation and gender identity.
The Supreme Court is considering whether Title VII of the Civil Rights Act’s prohibition on sex discrimination includes sexual orientation and gender identity. This new language, if passed into law, could undermine the Justice Department’s argument in Harris Funeral Homes v. EEOC that Congress has not previously affirmed that reading of the law.
The Shaheen amendment also requires creation of a “shame list” by requiring reporting to Congress that would expose pro-life and faith-based recipients of USAID funding to complaints that they refuse to comply with Obama administration regulations requiring them to make referrals for abortion and endorse radical sexual orientation and gender identity ideology.
The Shaheen amendment is only one aspect of this troubling compromise by Senate appropriators, however.
The committee report attached to the bill, which contains instructions on how funds are to be used, recommends an increase in funding for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex portfolio in USAID’s Human Rights Division.
Countries found to engage in “official government discrimination” against LGBT individuals could lose access to USAID funding. It’s unclear whether that includes countries that define marriage as between one man and one woman or whose laws define sex as binary and biological.
Finally, the report requires creation of a pilot program to align women’s economic empowerment programs with global health programs that include family planning and reproductive health.
That appears to be an attempt to tie funding for programs such as the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative, which focuses on enabling women around the world to support themselves and their families, to promotion of and funding for abortion.
The Senate should uphold its end of the bargain made with the White House last summer. That stipulates no funding for abortion-promoting groups, no radical redefinition of marriage and gender, and no shady attempts to implement such policies through a process that’s meant to exclude them.

In an interview with The Intercept published Thursday, Rep. Ilhan Omar complained that Democrat lawmakers are so smart they’re burdened with “fighting about a lot of things” most voters “can’t understand.”
“I mean it’s the one thing that everybody accuses us of. We think we’re the smartest in the room,” she boasted. “We are very policy-oriented. We care about the details. Just today we were, you know, fighting about a lot of things that most people can’t understand, and there is that aspect of a [2020 Dem candidate Elizabeth] Warren that is exciting. She has a plan for everything.”
Her praise for Warren notwithstanding, Omar backs socialist Bernie Sanders for president, because “Sometimes you have to be reminded about the vision you truly believe in, and where your core values lie.”
Based on her short history in office, Omar’s core values appear to be socialism, sharia law, jihad, and anti-Semitism, not to mention (alleged) bigamy and immigration fraud.
In a 2013 interview on the Twin Cities PBS show Belahdan, Omar mocked Americans for the anxiety they felt about Islamic terrorists: “When I was in college, I took a terrorism class…. The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up.” She then chuckled as she imitated the professor saying “Al Qaeda” and “Hezbollah.” “But you know,” added Omar, “it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with an intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with an intensity. But you say these names [Al Qaeda and Hezbollah] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to leave something…. It’s said with a deeper voice.” (See video)
During her tenure with the Minneapolis City Council from 2013-15, Omar acknowledged that she was a friend of several young men who had joined al-Shabab, a Somali jihadist terror group allied with al-Qaeda, several years earlier. “They were happy young men,” said Omar. “And then at some point, something happened. And that is what needs to be researched and studied. What is happening to make them feel disconnected from a community that has birthed them, that has nurtured them?”

After noting that a former chief of staff for socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez admitted that her “Green New Deal” is not about climate but changing the entire economy, Steve Milloy at Breitbart News drew up a list of similarities between it and the constitution ushered in by late Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez in 1999.
Milloy found similarities between the two plans in the areas of sustainable agriculture, education, markets, health care, housing, clean environment, social costs of human activity, no emissions, guaranteed jobs, work safety, unions, trade policy, and indigenous populations.
“Their common source,” Milloy notes, “is likely a United Nations document called the ‘International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights,’ which was passed by the UN General Assembly in 1966 at the behest of the Soviet Union. The UN Covenant itself can be traced back to the Stalin-written Soviet Constitution of 1936.”
And just like Chavez’s and Stalin’s constitutions, the socialist vision of the Green New Deal will lead to economic ruin and untold human misery.
In 1992, Hugo Chavez attempted a military coup of Venezuela. His revolutionary power grab failed and he was jailed until 1994 when he was freed by a presidential pardon. He was elected president in 1998 and has gradually increased his power and armed his personal militia.
Chavez has many links to violent terrorist organizations and totalitarian dictators. On Oct 12, 1999, Chavez was the guest of Communist China. While in China, he declared: “I have been very Maoist all of my life.” Like the Soviet, Cuban, and North Korean hosts of past WFYS meetings, Chavez is a proud Communist and an enemy of the USA.

President Trump’s decision to pull U.S. troops from Syria was borne of his desire to keep his campaign promises of not continuing to spill American blood by having American troops serve as the “police force for the world.”
It should come as no surprise that Senator Chuck Schumer was among the most vociferous opponents of the President’s decision. Virtually any statement or decision that President Trump might make immediately becomes the subject of a Chuck Schumer tirade.
On October 17, 2019 the Washington Times reported, Chuck Schumer’s bid to rebuke Trump over Syria fails in Senate. That news report began with this excerpt that show how there is no easy or clear path as to how to deal with this international diplomatic and military quagmire that preceded Trump’s election:
Senators fought Thursday over how to try to patch up the mess in Syria, but it quickly became clear that beyond being frustrated with President Trump, there’s little unity on what, exactly, the U.S. should do.
Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat, tried to force a symbolic rebuke of Mr. Trump, saying it would send a signal that might make the president reverse his decisions and send U.S. troops back in, but that was blocked by Sen. Rand Paul.
The Kentucky Republican said not only has Congress never authorized going to war in Syria, but sending troops back would mean putting them in between Turkey and the Kurds, both U.S. allies but who are now battling each other.
Schumer says New Yorkers know the impact of terrorism more than anyone else.
“We’re the number one target for terrorists in America, so we in New York should be particularly worried about what the president has done,” Schumer said.
The senator says the troop withdrawal in northern Syria would likely mean a resurgence for the Islamic State and that many fighters have fake passports.
Stop and consider what Schumer had irrefutably acknowledged: that ISIS terrorists might enter the United States to stage terror attacks, by violating laws that are investigated and enforced primarily by immigration law enforcement personnel.
The entry, or attempted entry into the United States of any alien, with a “fake passport” is a felony, a violation of laws included within the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). Indeed, aliens who commit visa fraud and/or immigration fraud in conjunction with terrorism face a maximum 25 year prison sentence.
Primary responsibility to enforcing the Immigration and Nationality Act is vested within component agents of the DHS (Department of Homeland Security), specifically Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
Unfathomably, although these agencies that play a major role in national security and public safety, they have come under a barrage of extreme criticism by the increasingly radicalized Democratic Party whose leaders have called for the dismantling of immigration law enforcement altogether.
Indeed the “leaders” of the Democratic Party have vilified the Border Patrol and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents and have created “Sanctuary Cities” and “Sanctuary States” that harbor and shield illegal aliens from detection from ICE agents thereby obstructing the enforcement of our vital immigration laws.
Worse still, some of these Sanctuary States now issue driver’s licenses to illegal aliens, even though their true identities may well be unknown and unknowable. Furthermore, motor vehicles have become the weapon of choice for terrorists around the world. A valid driver’s license enables the bearer to rent a vehicle anywhere in the United States.
Providing illegal aliens with such licenses violates the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission that noted that in the aggregate the 19 hijacker/terrorists of 9/11 used more than 300 false identities and variations of false identities.
In their anti-law enforcement and globalist fervor, radical Democrats have called for disbanding immigration law enforcement altogether ignoring that international terrorists seek to gain entry into the U.S. to carry out terror attacks.
All alien terrorists who seek to enter the U.S. violate multiple sections of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
Indeed, the 9/11 Commission noted that numerous other terrorists who had come to the United States in the decade that preceded the attacks of 9/11 had also committed visa fraud and/or immigration fraud to enter the U.S. and embed themselves in communities around the United States.
The official report, 9/11 and Terrorist Travel was prepared by federal agents and government attorneys who were assigned to the 9/11 Commission and focused on many of these immigration-related issues.

Exploring the Link between Human Smugglers and Terrorists
In July 2001, the CIA warned of a possible link between human smugglers and terrorist
groups, including Hamas, Hezbollah, and Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Indeed, there is
evidence to suggest that since 1999 human smugglers have facilitated the travel of
terrorists associated with more than a dozen extremist groups. With their global reach and connections to fraudulent document vendors and corrupt government officials, human smugglers clearly have the “credentials” necessary to aid terrorist travel.
This paragraph is found on page 98 under the title Immigration Benefits:
Terrorists in the 1990s, as well as the September 11 hijackers, needed to find a way to stay in or embed themselves in the United States if their operational plans were to come to fruition. As already discussed, this could be accomplished legally by marrying an American citizen, achieving temporary worker status, or applying for asylum after entering. In many cases, the act of filing for an immigration benefit sufficed to permit the alien to remain in the country until the petition was adjudicated. Terrorists were free to conduct surveillance, coordinate operations, obtain and receive funding, go to school and learn English, make contacts in the United States, acquire necessary materials, and execute an attack.
In the past, Schumer proposed a federal law that would impose a maximum 5 year penalty on those who would trespass on critical infrastructure particularly for those who are from “overseas” citing concerns about terrorism. Schumer posted a press release on this issue on his official U.S. Senate website on October 13, 2014.
Furthermore, what Schumer did not mention in his latest attack on President Trump, is that there are, in addition to ISIS terrorists, countless terrorists around the world, seeking to enter the United States to carry out deadly terror attacks.
For decades members of al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah and other such foreign-based radical Islamist terrorist organizations have targeted the United States. Today all that stands between them and America are our borders.
If Schumer was truly concerned about protecting America from terror attacks, as he claims, he would support the construction of the border wall and the effective enforcement of our immigration laws, while demanding an end to “Sanctuary” policies.
However, Chuck continues to demonstrate a lack of mouth/ear coordination. His ears don’t hear the words coming from his own mouth!

The news is no longer about investigative reporting. It’s about protecting some folks and destroying others and shoving a socialist agenda down the collective throats of Americans. Fox Impeachment Poll
Between October 6th and 8th a poll was done by Fox News and a high percentage of people wanted President Trump impeached and removed. Our president was incensed by the results. The poll showed that 51% of Americans support impeaching President Trump.
In a tweet, he blasted the network for their polling, stating that their pollster “sucks,” and that the network is “much different than it used to be in the good old days.” He tweeted that from the very day he announced he was running for president; he’s never had a good Fox News poll. The NY Post released an analysis that says Fox News misrepresented their poll.
In March 2019, former Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan joined the board of directors of Fox Corporation. Ryan is reportedly urging Fox News to “decisively break” with President Donald Trump, according to a Vanity Fair report documenting the network’s “management bedlam.”
Rupert Murdoch’s son, Lachlan Murdoch, CEO of Fox Corporation, has been pushing to move Fox News to the center, and is already thinking about how to move the network to a post-Trump future. This includes the Wall Street Journal, also owned by the Murdoch’s, which lately seems to have taken a hard turn to the left.
Neo-conservative Ryan has never supported Donald Trump and he is now suggesting to Lachlan Murdoch that Fox should break with the president. Lachlan is holding strategic conversations with Fox executives and anchors about how to prepare for life after Trump.
Paul Ryan, who was the vice-presidential candidate with Willard Romney in 2012, is great friends with this nemesis of our president. Both men are pro-amnesty and pro-free trade. Add to this twosome, Kellyanne Conway’s husband, George, who has consistently denigrated our president.
Romney has twice received endorsements from Donald Trump along with funds for his campaign for president and then for senate. He has betrayed the one who helped him the most. His vilification of our president please the neo-con Trotskyite crowd who follow the anti-Trump gang.
The three resistance-hero leftists are working together to destroy Donald Trump and those of us who voted for him; we are the “deplorables,” hated by the globalist elitists.
Fox Anti-Trumpers
Shepard Smith has suddenly departed Fox News. Personally, I wish he’d take his good buddy Andrew Napolitano with him, along with Bret Baier, Chris Wallace, Martha MacCallum, Neil Cavuto, Juan Williams, A. J. Stoddard, Ed Henry, Donna “cheating” Brazile, and others who have always been Never-Trumpers. There’s the door…don’t let it hit you where the good Lord split you…a fond farewell. And there are more who need to go if Fox is to be considered a conservative network.
Baier, Wallace, and MacCallum attended an event in Manhattan to assure advertisers that, “Trump doesn’t own them,” according to a piece published recently in the New York Times. A new report the from the Daily Caller about the relationship between President Donald Trump and Fox News alleges that hosts Chris Wallace and Martha MacCallum criticized and mocked Trump during a closed-door meeting last month.
MacCallum proved her animus against the Trump administration in a recent interview with Rudy Giuliani.
She wouldn’t let Rudy finish a sentence without interruption, something many of the hosts have taken to doing. To be fair, every guest on any Fox program, should be offered a large roll of duct tape and allowed to slap a big piece of it on the pie hole of the host/hostess who cannot shut their mouths and allow the guest to speak. They have all carried rudeness to a new level. (h/t Bud)
As for Andrew Napolitano, he wanted to be a supreme court justice, but was turned down by President Trump. Since then he’s been an anti-Trumper, and falsely claimed on Fox News that Trump’s phone call with President Zelensky was criminal and impeachable.
In a recent conversation between Geraldo Rivera and Sean Hannity, they were discussing what AG Barr and investigator Durham may find. Geraldo made the comment that whatever devastating findings they came up with, only Hannity would cover it. The rest of the fake and corrupt news media will sweep whatever crimes Barack Obama and his henchmen committed under the rug.
Hannity took those comments as an opportunity to point out that Fox News Channel is undergoing quite a sea of change during the so-called “straight news” programming.
Sean explained to Rivera that there were plenty of hosts and on-air talent at Fox who would fit in well at CNN or MSNBC. “By the way, we are hardly a channel of agreement,” Hannity declared. “We have a few resistance people on the channel if we’re gonna be honest, Geraldo! I mean total resistance, not half-resistance,” Hannity concluded.
Hannity could have been referring to “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace who blatantly misrepresented the testimony of special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker saying it was devastating to President Trump. Chris Wallace proved his leftist bias as a moderator in the 2016 presidential debates, so his antipathy for our president is not new.
Wallace, as well as other on-air talent at Fox News, like Smith and Judge Andrew Napolitano, threw in with the anti-Trump resistance to try and remove the President from office.
Fox News host Jeanine Pirro confirmed she was suspended from the network in March 2019, and said it was the first step in plans to fire her. In comments made during a commercial break on the radio show of former White House aide Sebastian Gorka, Pirro said that her suspension was “the basis to tee up for anything I do wrong, they’ll fire me.”
The judge missed two weeks from the network and followers thought she’d been fired. It was all because she questioned whether Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Somali Muslim, could be loyal to the United States because she wears a hijab. Fox News has never confirmed that she was suspended.
President Donald Trump expressed his support for Pirro, tweeting: “Bring back Judge Jeanine Pirro,” and blaming it on the “Fake News Media” and “Radical Left Democrats.”
The judge also said her bosses at Fox News had barred her from talking to other media outlets. She said, “Fox reviews everything. They’re unbelievable. They’re still saying you cannot do Bill O’Reilly; you cannot do Newsmax.”
Fox News publicly criticized Pirro’s remarks in a statement in March, saying the host’s views did not “reflect those of the network and we have addressed the matter with her directly.”
Todd Starnes
Fox News Radio host and commentator Todd Starnes’ contract with the news outlet is not being renewed, an announcement that follows a controversial segment from his radio show. Starnes already has other projects in the works.
Todd has started Starnes Media Group, which he described as “a multi-faceted broadcasting and digital company focused on delivering authentic conservative news and commentary.” He has also been in negotiations to purchase a news radio station.
In late October, the radio host interviewed Fox News commentator Robert Jeffress, a Texas-based pastor and stalwart supporter of President Donald Trump. During the interview, Jeffress suggested Democrats worship the pagan god Moloch, who is biblically associated with child sacrifice. Jeffress is right. Think communist China is bad? In America babies are being aborted alive and their organs “harvested” from them while they’re still breathing. Jeffress and Starnes are spot on!
And last August, Starnes caused a stir when he said the U.S. is suffering a “slow-moving invasion,” referring to illegal immigration. The progressive group Media Matters said Todd likened the situation on the southern border to invasions by the Nazis in the 1930s.
Todd Starnes said he will not compromise his beliefs, not even when he’s enjoyed 15 years at Fox.
One America News Network (OANN)
There’s a new sheriff in town, and it’s One America News Network (OANN). President Trump has loved Fox News and many of the hosts, but his allegiance is changing. One America News has slowly but surely won his affections since the 2016 presidential election.
In 2000, Robert Herring Sr. won $122 million by selling the family’s circuit board printing business, Herco Technology. The Washington Post reported that upon his retirement, his insomnia allowed him ample time to watch television, which eventually inspired his move into the industry.

Herring’s touch on the channel appeared in its first year in a two-hour special on Terri Schiavo, a Florida woman who had spent half her life in a vegetative state and became the face of the right-to-die debate. Robert Herring offered $1 million to Schiavo’s husband to stop trying to get her off life support. He refused and Schiavo died in 2005 after her feeding tube was removed.
Charles Herring told the Daily Beast just before the announcement that he believed “it is getting really hard to find just the reliable, credible, fact-based news with substance.”
Conclusion
Lou Dobbs is excellent, and there are other Fox hosts who speak the truth, but Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch was eliminated from Fox because he made the statement that Soros was funding the illegal alien caravans. Fox called Farrell an anti-Semite and banned him from the network. He can now be seen on OANN. If you want real conservative news…One America News has it. One can only wish American and Canadian media did the same after the treatment of Assange and possibly even Snowdon depending on the leaks. With Assange for sure, it was leaks from whistle blowers who leaked important material for Democracy which upset powerful people who felt they had a right to rule like the Clintons and their associates. With Snowdon its more complex as he may have leaked real military materials that could have gotten assets for US intel killed. However his revelations about NSA spying on the people and the obliteration of the 4th amendment deserved a Pulitzer.
One can only wish these papers had done this when the Union of Journalist rules came into effect, which were entirely a forced dialectic twist to the left in all cases and have been observed by MSM for over a decade now across the Western world. These rules are one of the main the reasons that we cannot know who did a thing if it was a muslim etc. etc. but if it is a white person we know right away, and dozens more subtle decisions which force a paper to always make non whites and non-Christians look less guilty than the proportion of their acts, and White Christians look more guilty by proportion. This defines dialectic twists leading leftwards in all ways. Policy is set using this illusion.

Many Americans think that extremism abroad is not America’s problem. But is that really the case?
Trump’s central foreign policy platform is “America First.” In other words, the United States should focus on what benefits America, not what benefits other countries.
Fair enough. But where does that leave counter-extremism? Why is it America’s issue when most terrorist attacks are happening abroad?
Here are four of the biggest reasons why Americans should care about extremism abroad.
Terrorism
The first goal of combating extremism is to make sure that no terrorist attacks take place in the United States. Our security forces work tirelessly to prevent attacks from taking place, and they are successful the vast majority of the time.
This includes attacks from both Islamists and other extremists. Yet despite the best efforts of the American police, terrorist attacks, such as the April shooting at a synagogue in Poway California, still occur.
The threat will never be eliminated while the ideology of extremism persists.
Counter-extremism is necessary to make sure that new terrorist recruits stop joining extremist movements and posing a threat. Finding out why people join such movements and drawing them away is essential to keeping America’s streets safe.
National Security
Domestic terrorism is not the only national security threat posed by extremism. A record 93 million Americans traveled abroad last year to destinations around the globe.
Any of them could have been a target of terrorist groups such as Hamas, Al Qaeda or Hezbollah.
America also has commercial interests worldwide. It’s in our national security interests to make sure American citizens can travel and business anywhere without fear.
But national security is bigger than terrorist movements.
As the recent tensions with Iran have shown, entire states can become hijacked by an extremist ideology and pose a serious threat to the United States.
The Strait of Hormuz, adjacent to Iran, is one of the largest shipping routes in the world. Twenty percent of the world’s oil supply flows through the strait.
If Iran decides to be aggressive, they can create serious trouble for the American economy.
This is not to mention Iraq and Afghanistan. Both countries are riddled with Islamist extremism — the Taliban in Afghanistan and various Shiite militias and Sunni jihadi groups in Iraq. Both countries are full of U.S. troops. To bring the soldiers home, those countries have to be made stable, which means eliminating extremism (among other things).
If the U.S. wants to continue to enjoy the kind of peace and security it does today, it should prioritize making sure enemies which hate its values and way of life are not allowed to get powerful.
Race Relations
Race baiters on both sides of the aisle are use extremism to further their goals. Right-wing extremists use the threat of radical Islam to further advance their cause, portraying a Christian civilization under threat from foreign hordes.
Left-wing extremists portray the fight against Islamism as motivated primarily, if not entirely, by racism.
Late last year this issue blew up when Women’s March organizers Tamika Mallory and Linda Sarsour were condemned for refusing to disavow the anti-Semitic leader of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan.
The ensuing media storm brought to the fore a collection of “intersectional” issues – from racism, Islamophobia, misogyny and post-colonial civil rights struggles – all manipulated by shameless grifters with a political axe to grind.
Eventually Sarsour disavowed Farrakhan, but reiterated her support for the anti-semitic BDS movement, which seeks to deny the Jewish people their right to a homeland.
(Ironically, anti-Semitism seems to be in vogue for all types of extremists from Islamists to the Far-Left and Far-Right.)
Disentangling these overlapping issues is difficult if not impossible. Addressing extremism and its ideological and psychological roots would go a long way to moving on from America’s racially problematic past.
Isolationism Hasn’t Worked
Like it or not, the world is interconnected. Anything that happens on the other side of the world can eventually get to and threaten America. In the last century, two extreme ideologies started in foreign countries and eventually came to threaten the United States.
The Russian Revolution took place in 1917, but the country did not fully fall to Communism until 1921, after a brutal civil war. The resulting atrocities carried out by communist regimes in Russia and China killed around 100 million people.
The communist powers dragged the United States into a decades-long struggle which took the world to the brink of nuclear catastrophe.
On the right, extremist nationalist movements were able to seize control in several countries, dragging Europe and the world into two vicious world wars. An estimated 16 million people were killed in WWI and a further 60 million died in WWII. The combined death toll of Americans was over a half a million.
Both of these movements started in the mid-19th century. Yet at that time, the United States was engaged in a policy of isolationism. Because communism and extreme nationalism were not countered effectively early on, they were able to grow and grow until they became a serious problem for the U.S. as well.
Contemporary forms of extremism are no different and must be equally countered.

After House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congressional Democrats stormed out of a White House meeting on Syria Wednesday, President Trump suggested that she is either mentally unwell or unpatriotic.
“Nancy Pelosi needs help fast! There is either something wrong with her ‘upstairs,’ or she just plain doesn’t like our great Country,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “She had a total meltdown in the White House today. It was very sad to watch. Pray for her, she is a very sick person!”
For her part, Pelosi told reporters, “I pray for the president all the time and I tell him that. I pray for his safety and that of his family. Now we have to pray for his health because this was a very serious meltdown on the part of the president.”
Pelosi had reportedly stood up and abandoned the meeting after Trump described her as either a “third-rate” politician (according to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer) or a “third-grade” politician (according to Pelosi). “Goodbye, we’ll see you at the polls,” Trump reportedly said.
At a June 6, 2013 press conference, Pelosi responded to news reports that, contrary to earlier claims by Barack Obama and Pelosi herself, Obamacare would cause health insurance premiums to rise dramatically for many people purchasing their own insurance in the individual market: “I don’t remember saying that everybody in the country would have a lower premium.” But in fact, during a July 1, 2012 appearance on Meet The Press, Pelosi had stated that because of Obamacare “everybody will have lower rates.”
In November 2013—amid immense public outrage over the fact that Obamacare regulations were, contrary to the repeated assurances of President Obama and the Democrats, forcing insurers to cancel the existing healthcare plans of millions of Americans—Pelosi was asked whether she owed an apology to the formerly insured who had been misled. She replied, “Did I ever tell my constituents that if they liked their plan they could keep it? I would have if I’d ever met anybody who liked his or her plan. But that was not my experience.”

Michael Rectenwald was a professor at NYU from 2008 to 2019. He is a pundit and champion of free speech against all forms of authoritarianism and totalitarianism, including socialism-communism, “social justice,” fascism, and Political Correctness. He pulls no punches in his critique of big digital and corporate Marxism in Google Archipelago.
Professor Rectenwald writes:
Leftist authoritarianism, or authoritarian leftism, is the operation ethos of the Google Archipelago.
What is the Google Archipelago?
The title of Professor Rectenwald’s book is a parody of Russian novelist, historian, winner of the Nobel Prize, and prisoner of the former Soviet Union Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s 1973 book Gulag Archipelago.
Professor Rectenwald, like Solzhenitsyn, is an outspoken critic of Communism and is helping raise awareness of the dual threats of the big digital and corporate Marxism systems.
Systems not unlike the old Gulag labor camps in the former Soviet Union, but with a twist.
In 1945 Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was arrested for criticizing Stalin in private correspondence and sentenced to an eight-year term in a labour camp (gulag), to be followed by permanent internal exile. The Gulag was a system of forced labor camps established during Joseph Stalin’s long reign as dictator of the Soviet Union. The word “Gulag” is an acronym for Glavnoe Upravlenie Lagerei, or Main Camp Administration. The notorious prisons, which incarcerated about 18 million people throughout their history, operated from the 1920s until shortly after Stalin’s death in 1953. At its height, the Gulag network included hundreds of labor camps that held anywhere from 2,000 to 10,000 people each. Conditions at the Gulag were brutal: Prisoners could be required to work up to 14 hours a day, often in extreme weather. Many died of starvation, disease or exhaustion—others were simply executed.
The atrocities of the Gulag system have had a long-lasting impact that still permeates Russian society today.
Today’s Google Archipelago mirrors the Soviet Gulag but without the torture, starvation, disease. The new Google Archipelago is still a prison camp but one of our own making. Every user of big digital and those who work for and with the corporate Marxists are prisoners in a gulag of their own making. The potential number of people (prisoners) in the Google Archipelago is in the tens of billions.
The atrocities of the Google Archipelago can have a long-lasting impact that permeates every aspect of American society today, tomorrow and for decades to come, unless exposed and stopped.
[T]he goliaths of the Google Archipelago justify increasingly liberal politics and procedures, an authoritarianism rampant within corporate cultures and coexistence with the Google Archipelago at large. The political culture of the ‘wokeforces’ in the ‘wokeplaces’ of Facebook, Goggle, Twitter and elsewhere metastasize to become the character of cyberspace.

The inward-facing wokeplace resembles a high-tech Red Guard engagement in digital struggle sessions reminiscent of the Maoist Cultural Revolution (1966-1976).
Rectenwald warns, “If not a perfervid, cultish social-justice or woke activist, or at least an occasional virtue signaler of the ‘correct’ positions, one’s individual membership in one or more subordinated category may be rendered inert.”
For those who have been placed in Facebook jail, banned from posting on YouTube or deplatformed by Twitter it is understandable why everyone must wake up to the dangers of corporate Marxism.
Conclusion
Michael Rectenwald‘s book is a must read if you want to understand who is controlling your data and thereby controlling your life. Rectenwald writes:
As the history of the twentieth century vividly illustrates, when Marxism is ascendant, the ‘wrong’ have no rights, and the number of the wrong multiplies by the day. The evidence is in: the digital gulag is under construction.
Question: Do you believe that your cell phone knows more about you than your spouse or significant other?
If your answer is YES then you are already a PRISONER of the “digital gulag.”
Project Veritas on Wednesday released a snippet of undercover audio in which CNN president Jeff Zucker is heard encouraging staff to be “fully committed” to taking President Trump’s impeachment seriously, arguing that those who are “covering it up” are “lying.”
“We are at an incredibly important time in history and this country and this is the story,” Zucker is heard telling reporters on a CNN conference call, according to Breitbart News. “This is it and I want to be fully committed to it, and not take our eye off this ball.
“I also don’t want to be afraid to call out those who are covering it up and obfuscating, and coming out and saying there’s nothing to see here, because they’re lying,” he added.
This video clip comes after Project Veritas published a separate video of a media coordinator at CNN, which calls itself “the most trusted name in news,” saying Zucker has a “personal vendetta” against Trump. To quote the network’s tagline, “This is CNN.”
In October 2019, CNN published a “fact check” claiming that President Trump had grossly exaggerated the depleted state of America’s munitions stockpile when he was first sworn into office, and also his impact on the subsequent rebuild of that stockpile. But in its presentation, CNN completely omitted a large amount of data provided by a Heritage Foundation defense analyst demonstrating that Trump’s assertions were absolutely accurate.
In light of CNN’s long history of inaccuracies and dishonesty vis-a-vis President Trump and other conservatives, liberal attorney Alan Dershowitz said in July 2019: “[Zucker] has destroyed CNN. He has made it impossible for people to hear two sides of a view or any side of a view other than Jeff Zucker’s view, and that’s not the way television should operate…. [Viewers are] not getting analysis or reporting; they’re getting wishful thinking, and that’s not a substitute for hard news.”

Many of those charged as drug dealers benefited from a welcoming America and likely received taxpayer-funded social services and an education, and now, oh joy, we get to pay for their incarcerations.

As a nation we marveled at Dr. Martin Luther King’s moral reasoning; it helped overcome a deep sense of inertia among the largely conservative civil rights establishment that favored incrementalism rather than rebellion.
King countered that the system of oppression was so entrenched in American society that no legal action would effectively challenge its injustice. As a result, he adopted a radical new strategy—nonviolent disobedience.
His reasoning was based, not in man’s law, but a higher one: “Just as it is wrong to use immoral means to attain moral ends,” he said in his letter from a Birmingham jail, “it is just as wrong, or perhaps even more so, to use moral means to preserve immoral ends.”
President Donald Trump, facing a similar historical arc, is signaling just that.
Impeachment furor has reached a feverish pitch in both the news media and on Capitol Hill. Several congressional inquiries, mostly stemming from the Democratic Party, into Trump have gathered momentum.
Many of the so-called “revelations” and “allegations” used as justification for these inquiries have emerged from anonymous sources and so-called whistleblowers within the administration and the intelligence community.
The timing seems a tad suspicious.
This latest controversy comes on the heels of Trump’s firing former national security adviser John Bolton and Trump’s holding firm in his decision to withdraw all American troops from Syria.
On the other hand, Trump’s personal peccadilloes and petty offenses seem to be just that—a petty justification for removing the president by the extreme measure of impeachment.
The likely reason for such unified rancor is perhaps that Trump’s foreign policy “infractions” have riled an especially entrenched set of interests within America’s military and its intelligence communities. It is telling, perhaps, that the mainstream media, which constantly hounded President George W. Bush’s administration over its wars, seems to take particular umbrage at Trump’s efforts to extract America from that very trap.
The fever pitch over Trump’s unorthodoxy has reached such a crescendo that normally staid, middle-of-the-road Republicans, including Rudy Giuliani and former House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, have taken to defending our president by casually evoking the darkly conspiratorial “deep state.”
No one knows who the members of this “deep state” shadow organization are for sure, and no one is naming names. Regardless, it seems to hound the president at every turn.
Doesn’t this lament seem somewhat incongruous coming from a political party that controls half of Congress, the White House, and has appointed a majority of the Supreme Court? How is it that the president’s camp can wield such potent levers of political power and at the same time consider itself besieged by shadowy players?
The answer is more banal than nefarious. The “deep state” is hiding in plain sight. It is not a clandestine group, rather it’s is a prevailing attitude.
Many of our citizens and our institutions have adopted incrementalism as a lingua franca. The same inertia that caused civil rights leaders oppose to King’s radical new approach to leading social change also opposes Trump’s efforts to almost singlehandedly transform the American geopolitical framework.
Interests currently invested in continued militarism, lax immigration, unfair trade, and unchecked indebtedness fear that Trump’s new direction will starve them of wealth and influence. To a certain extent that is true. Charting a new course might force painful realignments around values and priorities, but it ultimately bends the United States in the right direction.
Two distinct and interrelated aspects of U.S. policy under Trump seem to have particularly irritated the ruling cabal. They are our longstanding strategic alliance with Israel and our economic dependence on the Gulf oil trade. Both attachments have driven us down a sordid rabbit hole of war, debt, and injustice that has cost us more than is returned.
In the course of global enforcement, we damaged ourselves, not to mention the millions of citizens of the Middle East who continue to suffer amidst these seemingly endless wars.
President George Washington, on the eve of his retirement, warned against this very situation. He said, “nothing is more essential than that permanent, inveterate antipathies against particular nations, and passionate attachments for others, should be excluded. … The nation which indulges towards another a habitual hatred or a habitual fondness is in some degree a slave. It is a slave to its animosity or to its affection, either of which is sufficient to lead it astray from its duty and its interest.”
We can no longer afford to police the Middle East; and we will not be drawn into ridiculous internecine battles among the region’s various religious sects, merely to preserve claim over the Gulf’s energy.
In extricating America from needless attachments—both antipathies and alliances—Trump seems to be keeping his promise to place first his duty to America’s direct interests above all others.
The very fact that entrenched interests are so hell-bent on stopping Trump demonstrates just how pernicious our attachments have become. Whether by intraparty infiltration and rebellion or though partisan coup by the Democrats, we even betray our allegiance to power over populace.
The serious constitutional crimes alleged against the president deserve to be placed in context. Without context, text alone is sometimes considered pretext.
The Democrats already got a bite at the apple with the lengthy Mueller investigation; it was fully investigated and reported with not a single significant finding against Trump. Now they are trying their hand at unseating Trump through an impeachment investigation that seems oddly disruptive given the proximity of an election that could easily decide it all.
In confronting Congress directly, Trump proves he isn’t hiding. He’s openly begging the question: Does America really want to win?

Brother and sister Americans, we witnessed a new level of president Trump being himself at his remarkable energizing, inspiring and unifying rallies in Minnesota and Louisiana.
Democrats have had a lock on connecting with voters emotionally using their fake compassion; cruelly using people as props.
Republicans are sorely lacking in striking an emotional cord with voters. Remember the Dragnet TV show? Detective Friday would say, “Just the facts ma’am.” Republicans typically recite just the facts and figures.
Trump, like no Republican before him, is gifted with the ability to touch voters’ emotions while giving them logic and common sense reinforced with statistical data.
A huge difference between Democrats’ fake compassion and Trump is he is sincere. During his rallies in Minnesota and Louisiana, when Trump brought cops on stage to honor them and when he brought the kid’s baseball team on stage to celebrate them, Trump meant it. Everyone watching those amazingly powerful emotional moments knew Trump’s admiration and affection was real. Trump’s down-to-earth, honest, and straight-talk style is the magic; the secret to his connection; his bond with We the People. This guy is one of us.
Another brilliant thing about Trump’s Minnesota and Louisiana speeches was the way he explained in simple terms what Democrats, the deep state and fake news media are doing to undermine America and his presidency. Trump boldly called them out for their evil anti-American silent coup while interjecting humor, causing his audience to roar with laughter. I say again folks, Republicans never do that. Republicans typically politely say fake news media and Democrats either misspoke or are misinformed. Trump doesn’t sugarcoat it. He pushes back hard, calling them liars. We the People love it!
As I stated, Trump was more Trump at his Minnesota and Louisiana rallies than we have seen. My wife Mary commented that with Democrats and fake news media attempting to use blatant lies to impeach him, Trump must share more of himself with the American people while telling them the truth. Sadly, our remarkably successful president is still pretty much alone, fighting Washington DC corruption, Democrats and fake news media. Only a few Republicans are willing to go to microphones to express support for Trump and his America first agenda. That is shameful.
During Trump’s Minnesota rally, with my remote in hand, I briefly flipped to CNN’s LGBTQ Democrat Presidential Town-hall titled, “Equality in America.”
Talk about deception, whatever Democrats title an event or legislation is always the polar opposite. For example: Democrats’ “Equality Act” is about implementing inequality, especially against Christians. It is an unprecedented attempt to repeal Americans’ Constitutional right to free speech and religious liberty. Our patriot brother, Mat Staver, at Liberty Counsel is doing an amazing job fighting this deceptively named stealth attack on our freedom.
Why on earth did CNN conclude that there needed to be a special town-hall to discuss LGBTQ issues. People who identify as LGBTQ are a tiny percentage of the population, 3-5%. Statically, a town-hall discussing issues important to dwarfs would have made more sense.
One could not help notice the dramatic contrast between CNN’s LGBTQ town hall and Trump’s Minnesota and Louisiana rallies. The purpose of CNN’s LGBTQ town hall was to sell voters their standard depressing, everyone is a victim and America sucks lies.
In the awesome speeches at his rallies, President Trump talked about keeping our economy booming, the progress made on building the border wall; healthcare and various other issues vital to improving life for Americans and keeping America great. Trump’s audience laughed a lot, felt united and felt good about themselves as Americans. Trump’s audiences went home energized, eager to work to help our president keep America great.
In essence, O’Rourke said screw you Christians. If elected president, I will make you betray your God.
When I heard CNN ask the candidates an absurd weird question which combined LGBTQ and climate change, I said, “That’s it, I am out of here. These people are nuts.” CNN and Democrats are clueless regarding which issues truly matter to mainstream Americans. How many sleepless nights have you had pondering the life-threatening connection between LGBTQ and climate change?
